Cold and small establishment. They won't take debit or credit cards claiming the machine is broken and then conveniently pointing to their in-house ATM. Workers are inpatient, English is not their first language. Food is chintzy on the protein side and hefty on the rice... Taste is just okay. Affordable pricepoint but go next door to panda express for a cleaner, friendlier atmosphere.

The food is great which is why I give it a 4 star. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lady on the cash register bad attitude. She presents herself as very impatient and unapproachable, she was giving me attitude because I was indecisive on what sushi I want in my bento box. She makes u feel uncomfortable to ask for any changes on your order because she will make a fuss about it. That’s not giving good customer service at all, she needs to learn how to talk and treat customers with kindness and patience, which she lacks on. I been a customer going to this place for over 5 years so I don’t appreciate her bad attitude.

This place is great! It's relatively clean, though all the screens have tape on them (don't ask me why). Anyways, the food here is amazing with a good portion. Though it's a tiny bit expensive. Not really, though. If this is your first time coming, I recommend the Chicken Teriyaki!

The woman at the register has been very helpful with me numorous times due to my physical disability. She always offers to pack my food in a bag so that im able to carry the food with only 1 hand and not have any struggles pack the food myself.

The food was well cooked and the service was ok. They are in a busy area in the Cross County Mall. Cash and credit are both accepted however their is a credit card fee and cash usually is the cheaper option. This location isn't shown on the Sarku Japan app so it doesn't allow online orders which is inconvenient. Ample parking since it's in the mall. 05/2022

The food is good but the customer service is lacking. I understand that many changes have occurred due to the pandemic but in a time where customers are already allowed to dine in and order without a mask, there is no excuse to have the restrooms closed. I came in and ordered my food and my two year old who is fully potty trained and refuses to go on diapers said she needed to go. We asked and was told simply no. Completely unacceptable and rude at how he said it too. Had to run elsewhere while they prepared my food so she wouldn't pee herself.

The food is not bad, actually, it's pretty good. I just feel that the space is too small. Its seems pretty popular but the only people the business seems to want to keep safe are themselves. The cashier seems encased in plastic, but the food is still wide open facing all the customers. People can still grab the wrong tray with their unclean hands and put it back. If you want tasty food, I could suggest here, but not if your into covid safety, then you may want to pass

There are a lot of negative things I can say about this place. The place is disgusting, the staff is rude. Thing now Pat and that's their teriyaki chicken. For the price, it's probably the best teriyaki chicken that I've tasted. I take it to go and it lasts me 2 days. I give this chicken five stars and the rest of the place gets negative stars. But I come here for the food

Great place for very very very fresh food. Very quick convenient. The employees are very nice and helpful. The cooks are super clean and consistent. Love the food the prices and they have plenty of seating for you to enjoy your meal. This particular location is the best one iv been to good job guys and gal!!

I've passed this place many times before and never gave it a second thought but I'm glad I gave it a chance. It's a popular spot and the food is good. I had the beef bento. It's a bento box with beef over fried or white rice, vegetable dumplings I think, a California roll and side salad. The only thing I didn't care for too much was the fried rice. Maybe if in had gotten white it would've been better but overall I enjoyed it. If you ever see this restaurant it's definitely worth a try.

I was in here yesterday and don't get me wrong the food is good but the service is definitely lacking. We have to get our own food and pack it which isn't a major issue however when it multiple people standing around waiting for their food and your food comes out uncovered that's an issue. Just gross.

I got the chicken bento box. The chicken was really good with the rice. I love the salad and the sweet citrusy dressing they use. It also came with two sushi pieces. Would definitely go back.

It's ok. Flavor is good. Fairly busy, maybe a 5 minute wait in line to get served, that was at 5pm on a Sunday. Seating available inside the shop, typically have to share a table with other people. Tables could do with a wipe though. No tap-water available to drink, they only sell sodas from a dispenser, looks like unlimited refills of soda (basically no-one is watching or counting!)

The food is delicious, just remember to actually ask for a drink because the dishes weren't combo (from what I could tell) and you wouldn't want to go back on line, with the random burst customers flowing it. Overall, I definitely recommend going here.

Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp was amazing. I like that they give you a choice of white or brown rice. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is small and within the mall. Located across from the Sears parking lot.

This is my spot!!! Love the chicken teriyaki with fried rice. Usual busy but always moves fast. It's simple order the food pack it up yourself and leave. Some people make this complicated, it isn't rocket science. Plus ask for more sauce before taking it down from the rack they'll know what you mean and you will thank me for it. I've seen people get the sushi but never had the guts to do so myself 😨 overall it's good.

Order the bento boxes. For Japanese fast food is not bad and it's actually more healthy than most of the other on the unhealthy stuff out there to choose from. Their broccoli was not overcooked it was just right not too much grease on the rest of the food. Well potioned for the price.

Great amount of food options AND at a great price for the amount of scrumptious food that you get. You'll get the best bang for your buck here. I docked two stars for two reasons. The first, sometimes they ask if you can pay with cash when you go to hand them your card and seem pushy about it as its happened to me. I, however, paid card recently and can attest that one customer was told that their machine wasn't working moments later and urged them to use the ATM. The second, they could use a serious lesson in customer servic and friendliness. It doesn't hurt to smile or know how to talk to paying customers professionally. Will I return? Of course!
