Stopped in for last minute dinner margaritas are absolutely amazing. Bit pricy but good never the less . Staff is hit and miss they are not rude just not personable . Putting that aside I like the food . Amazing tasting clean Resteraunt and well decorated come and enjoy just expect the staff to chat or any small talk. Definitely come back down here often perhaps they will warm up

Omg! Found a new fave Mexican spot! A bit pricey but soooooo worth it! The guac - amazing! Made right in front of you by the talented Rafael. I had the enchiladas chipotle. The best skirt steak enchiladas I've ever had! The sangria was so tasty. There are so many things on the menu i still want to try!! I'll be back soon!!

I had a great experience both times I came here. The food is good, the customer service is good, the atmosphere is pleasant. This is a good mexican restaurant with unlimited chips and homemade salsa at no extra cost which is fantastic. I recommend going here if you want good mexican food and feel like your in Mexico.

This is the one restaurant i had my first legal drink when I turned 21. For the past 4 years i've been wanting to come back and finally did exactly 4 years later, and again, to celebrate my birthday no. 25. Loved it like the first time, maybe more. We were greeted with warm, fresh made chips and salsa. Then selected guacamole as appetizer, which is the BOMB because it's made right *IN YOUR FACE* and it was PERFECT!!! Food was delicious, right on point. Service was way more than excellent. They also serve real juice (made out of fruits), not canned or boxed juice, which is also a most for me. Don't remember the names of our plates but they were DELISHHHH!!! Come by!!! I ma definitely coming back sooner than the last time I was here.

Just moved to NY fand was yearning for a Mexican Cantina style restaurant like back in California. I knew this was going to be THE spot when I was able to get Tajin on my margarita rim without going into my purse reserve 😂 Their mole sauce is fantastic as is the table side guacamole. I bet this spot kills on Cinco de Mayo.

Has a great atmosphere and decorations. I enjoyed them singing to my friend for her birthday and the food was delicious. Definitely prepare yourself for large meals. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the cappuccino because it was very cold and this is why I felt a need for the rating of a 3.

Love this place went for dinner with my sisters birthday and we all loved it, we made reservations ahead because it was on a Saturday, when we arrived it was crowded but we got our table. Nice ambience. Yummy complimentary chips and salsa. Delicious guacamole made tableside! Beautiful pina colada drink in an actual carved out pineapple was a bit pricey at $20 each but tasted good and looked amazing. I ordered the taco meal (one chicken and two beef) I was not impressed with the flavor and there was a watery liquid on the plate which came from the sauce of the meat, thus, making the corn shell soggy. Would go back for the guac and chips to try a different dish.

This was my first time coming to this place. I came here with my mom because she recommended the place to me. I absolutely loved the food it was so delicious and the service was great. I was supposed to celebrate my birthday here in March 2020 - but then the Pandemic hit. I have been here in late 2021 and today. I always enjoy the Margaritas and food. Chips and salsa are placed on the table when you sit down. So good that we asked for another set-up. Waiter was very accommodating. Enchiladas and Fajitas for lunch were delicious. My son treated me for a belated birthday treat. I told him that this is a perfect date night location. Very pretty atmosphere. Rancho Grande is one of my Favorite Restaurants.

This place is huge, but even so can feel very packed. The food is flavorful and plates are definitely filling. In my experience, there's a 50% chance that your drink will either be pretty good or just ok. Service is also ok. Sometimes it's hard to hold a conversation because the music is too loud, even if you're on the outskirts of the restaurant, so avoid it only if you're looking for a more chill/quiet dinner.

The food was great, atmosphere was amazing, service was good, drinks was good, and the price wasn't bad either. i would've given it 5 stars however, when i payed the bill and left a tip, the waiter got mad that i did not leave what he thought should've been more money for the tip. He asked us did he do something wrong was the food bad , and when i said no everything was great, he stated well why didn't you leave more? That has never happen to me in any restaurant, and i always leave a decent tip. So i don't know if i will be returning to this restaurant.

Located up on a hill on Central Ave, stepping into Rancho Grande is like stepping into a tiny Mexican village. You honestly feel like you're in a little town from the way this place is built. It's a very large place with lots of seating. The menu is sufficient with plenty of choices. The food is good. The staff however is very friendly and do a wonderful job taking care of the patrons. They also have a full drink menu. The prices run a little high, but that seems to be the case everywhere now with restaurants having to deal with the ramifications of COVID and the lockdowns. Overall it's a good experience.

Ramon the waiter is awesome! The food is delicious with a good portion size. The prices are fair. The atmosphere is great for kids, family, and couples. However, after hours, it's turns into a night club. Especially on Saturday, which is the best day to visit. There isn't a big enough dance floor and not a hugh wine or cocktail selection.

I enjoy the food here. Weekend music is all Latin with a very fun crowd. I used to come here almost every Friday. The margaritas were terrific. Strong and tasty, but the last time I went the drinks just weren't that great. My friend and I always order the same thing. She orders a frozen margarita and I order a non frozen margarita on the rocks with salt. She and I both had the opinion that the drinks had changed. We hadn't been back from months but decided to try it again. Sadly, the outcome was very much the same. The food is good but the drinks are no longer good. Fortunately there's many many many other places to go

My father's wife chose this restaurant to celebrate his 80 years. We got together 21 people of the family, we traveled from different cities such as Boston MA, Arlington, Kearny NJ, Wantagh and Queens NY, we did not see each other for a long time. The restaurant as a meeting point with big parking lot it was nice, the decoration very nice and the waitress Rocio did her best for services us...I will give more than 5 to the service staff. Despite this, I give it 3 stars to the restaurant, because the food was not good at all. The meat flutes were overcooked, tasted very bad. The vegetarian stuffed pumpkin, tasteless green uncooked squash. The drinks lack of alcohol. The music went from being a warm family atmosphere to a loud dance place with insane noise that left us with a headache and hearing discomfort until today. I won't comeback.

We visited Rancho Grande this past weekend. It’s a very lively and entertaining spot given its winter here as well. Our experience was overall pleasant. As for the food, the guacamole was very tasty and freshly prepared in front of us and all ingredients seemed fresh as well. This was proof in the taste. However, I wished the young lady who had very long nails wore gloves like the other preparers did. She didn’t seem to touch the ingredients but you never know when you can slip. My stuffed chicken meal was pretty tasty but my wife said her fajitas were bland and could use some flavor. My son mentioned the same for his chicken dish as well. The service was okay since our waiter didn’t check on us once after serving the food. This place is busy and bustling with live music. They can definitely be a 4 or even 5 star spot but would require a lot more effort with food preparation and a tad more on service quality.

Authentic Mexican food. The food is good, except it is overpriced compared to other authentic and delicious Mexican restaurants in lower Westchester County. Ok for special occasions because they are very festive during the weekends with a live strolling Mariachi band (of course, when they serenade your table, it is customary to tip the band).

Overall, it was a good experience. We've had lunch and dinner here. We thought for the quality of the dishes we had, the price point was high. In my opinion, if the food was something that you can make better at home, then what's the point. You go to a restaurant because the food is better than what you can make at home. The Margarita was fine, that all depends on the bartender - again could I have made it better at home. I'm not a mixologist and only an amateur cook. The experience was good and so was the service.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Love the time with the family and kids. No 5 star because of the menu. Due to COVID-19 they have the "scan" menu for your phone but the menu is horrible. Too much back and forth to go from reading one entre to the next, no pictures to assist you if you have never been there before (first time for the family). I had to go to Google and look at pictures from other customers. Once we figured out what we wanted, it was fantastic and we loved it but it took us so much time to "read" the menu. Fix your website/menu and it's an easy 5 Star. Until then, 4 Star. Plus the live entertainment was fantastic.

Went to this restaurant for dinner last night. The service was okay. I asked the waiter for a sprite 3 times finally it came. I usually frequent it often because it is close to my house. It is a hit or miss. Sometimes there will be a band and music playing, sometimes there won’t. It’s nice sometimes when there is not because you realize how peaceful and nice the restaurant is.

I've been here a few times in the last decade, but honestly don't remember the quality, so this review will be based on my last family visit. The appearance is nice and clean, with interesting designs and art. The staff are courteous and prompt. Two of us had fish tacos, and my wife had a beef dish with, I think, a mole sauce. We were all pleased with our food, and guacamole appetizer. The price was more that the area's average; main dishes seemed to be around $23. However, the serving sizes were respectable. I would come here again for a special occasion.

I heard this restaurant's service and food was really good so I decided to join some friends for appetizers and drinks since it was a friend's birthday. I must say that our waiter Fernando's service was appalling to say the least. Because our table didn't order big items he did not bother to give plates and napkins for the appetizers (until I was able to get his attention) leaving some of the ladies to eat with their fingers. I guess he felt like he wouldn't get a good tip because our first order wasn't "large" enough for our group size. Something we ALWAYS Keep in mind (a really good tip) since we know servers depend on tips. I think service should ALWAYS be Impeccable regardless of amount spent that way a second visit is made where its not just for appetizers and drinks. More importantly the business is reccomended to others. I gave it 3 stars because I think if it wasn't because of his service it could have been a 5. The place itself was nice, good live music and atmosphere. Too bad.

This place has alway been great, with the exception of the discussion over the menu charge from lunch vs dinner. We entered the restaurant during lunch time and we were told we would be charged dinner rates since the register would automatically charge dinner prices by the time we left. It was settled and we were able to enjoy our meal and delicious margaritas.

This is an average Mexican restaurant. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't impressive either. The sangria was strong but lacking fresh fruit. It was served in paint glasses with plastic straws. The salsa was bland, and tortilla chips weren't salted. The skirt steak was cooked well and good quality but lacking in flavor. Service was fast and generally courteous. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food and atmosphere, there are better choices out there.

I live in Queens but visit Yonkers often. My friend and I always have a delicious lunch at Rancho.Grande; everybody is nice and well trained to serve customers well. The place is very clean and attractive. Love the plants and decorations.

Well I waited an entire year to post my personal review. Like most reviews in my opinion are made to early not giving an opportunity for errors or corrections to service or food. To be fixed... So here it is, after one whole year .... In my opinion Rancho Grande is by far the most interesting restaurant i frequently dine in .... the customer service is 9 out 10 times outstanding... sometimes I experience a waiter who is probably tired or frustrated, which is life things are not always bliss... but overall great service with authentic Mexican food... an atmosphere to die for warm and entertaining.... almost forgot the drinks whoa!!!! Way great..... as for my opinion the best waiter there is Mr. Osvaldo..he is truly a Marvell. So end result Rancho Grande is family now thanks......for all they do.....!!!!

Great Mexican food and authentic Myan decor. Waiters are always ready to please. My wife and grandson had Mexican delicacies with all the trimmings . I had American traditional food. The decor has Mexican motifs as well as the artisanal tiles that adorned the appetizer plates. There is a nice bar area, as well as a dining area that overlooks the city lights, and the busy highway down below. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the house menu. Come here for the custom chips and guacamole. They make it in front of you so that you can watch and let them know how spicy to make it etc. It's fun and we enjoy that plus the margaritas. Parking is easy, too. Recommend the happy hour!

Great authentic Mexican food + a fun atmosphere! Prices are a little expensive (hence the 4 stars), but totally worth it, especially if you are sharing a few things amongst a group. Margs are awesome, plus don't miss out on the fried ice cream. If you order guac, they make it right in front of you!

To be honest, way over priced. They put on a neat little show when making guacamole and fried icecream. But the basics, like rice and salad are extremely bland. I can speak on the mole- was sweet with a little spice. Overall, was expecting more with the price tag on their menu items.

I am really hard to please when it comes to Mexican food but this place is honestly so delicious! They aren't chincy with their portions of the entrees and the rice beans are a nice amount. I usually go at lunch time and its quiet, I have gone at dinner time when they play music so keep that in mind if you want to have a real conversation. Thwy dont always have live bands or djs so call ahead of time to confirm. They had a groupon that I used and that made it even better!!
