Hands down the best burger around. Also the most consistent. I've been coming to pipers kilt for 30 years. Burger is just as good as ever. Best prices around as well. Like it's happy hour all the time.

Known for their burger, they proved their worth today. It comes down to the meat itself, which seems to set it apart from most burger places. Whatever the combination of meat and spices, it hits the bullseye. The onion rings are also well done. Their pickles are pretty special too.

Food: 4.2/5 Service: 4.4/5 Vibe: 4.7/5 I’ve heard great things about Piper’s Kilt but this visit did not live up to those standards. The restaurant seemed understaffed and overwhelmed but I will be back to give this spot another shot. *Bonus* Side street parking can be challenging for those who don’t like to park. There is a small parking lot in the back or you can find metered parking by the Eastchester library across the street!

Took my God mother here she hasn't been since the pandemic She was so happy to have her burger again And yes still awesome and the Mac and cheese was to die for Staff and service was amazing we had this young man he was so professional and patient and made sure everything was great for my God mother blessing to him and whoever hired him

Five Stars. Worth the wait. Staff was busy but once seated table was taken care of. Steaks cooked how you ask. Burgers 🍔 stacked and amazing. The bar makes Shirley Temples & wicked Cosmos. It’s a great night out with family & friends. It’s nice to see smiles, hear laughter and enjoy good quality food & drink.

This was a favorite burger place of mine when I was in college down the street. 20 years later it was just as I remembered. This time I am not eating carbs so I had a salad instead of fries and a bunless burger. It was perfection. The flavor was amazing. It was juicy but not dulled by a greasy flavor. There was plenty of cheese and toppings as well! I look forward to the next time I am in town since I can't move them to Maryland.

I want to say that this was my first time eating this burger at this place... that Bronx Bomber Burger was a Bomb!! I mean Bomb in a good way! It was delicious, I can taste the onions, the BBQ sauce, the cheese, and ofc the beef! I almost fainted eating this... we’re coming back again! The only criticism about it, other than its messy (which people like), I think I’d change the Regular bun to something thick (less messy) like either brioche or Pretzel buns... overall, I’ll eat that bomber burger again. Thank you for good service!

Stopped here for dinner with a friend. Pear Cider was delish, Margarita ehh... I’ve had better. Burger came out just as ordered and looked amazing. Chili was good could have been a little hotter in temp for my liking... Service was good. Nice atmosphere in a sweet little setting. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Between the chili, margarita and parking hence the four stars.

I’ve been going to pipers kilt for about 20 years. I would go throughout middle school, high school, and college. After graduation I went a few times, but haven’t been back for about 8 years. I was in town for fathers fay and checked it out. I can’t describe how fantastic it felt to come back to such an amazing restraunt, and have the food be as amazing as ever. Truelly an iconic place!!

Met a friend here to eat, the atmosphere is very comfortable and acceptable. The service was pleasing and nice. The food is as expected which is very good and cooked well. I didn't have my glasses so I chose the Manhattan burger. Nice and sloppy just how a burger should be. Will definitely eat here again.

Really enjoyed the food here. The front of this establishment isn’t the most inviting but once you get to the back, you’re in for a treat. Ordered the Steak Sandwich on Garlic bread with Sautéed onions. Service was on point!! The hamburgers were very good as well. Would certainly recommend for if you’re in the area!

don't come here on a friday, saturday, or sunday night unless you wanna wait an hour to get a burger with fries. besides that, this place is delicious. their wings, fries, and burgers are literally the best in westchester! the meat always tastes fresh as well as the vegetables! definetely come here!!

I LOVE their burgers! They have the best burger that I've ever had in the tristate area. Their fries are really good too. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is that you will wait 30+ minutes for your food when you go. It definitely is worth the wait though

Burgers are EXCELLENT! Every burger was on point ( medium, medium well ,medium rare......) The service was amazing. Our waitress was super attentive and additional staff was there to make sure our table dishes were taken away as needed.... Can't wait to go back! Great for families and children !

Usually always happy with Pipers Kilt but today the Fried chicken was overcooked and dry. Typically it is very good so I will let this one go. My husband's burger mushroom and cheese, was perfect as was the potato salad. The staff could not be nicer and that means so much.

The food is excellent! That said, the service is slooow! We watched two other parties who were seated after us get served before us. Perhaps we had a complicated order? Nope. Burgers and steak. Also I ordered a glass of wine and it was sour. The replacement was better but still not great. All in all, not the most memorable birthday dinner I've had....

Pipers kilt will not disappoint the burgers are great try the Eastchester I loved it gotten it many times my daughters love the chili you know what everyone loved all the food. The place is very crowded though hard to get a table and they won’t take take out until 8 o’clock but if you can look past that this is a great burger joint. My son really loved coming here and eating the place down after lacrosse practice

This place is a jewel in Westchester county. Their hamburgers have been first class for as long as I can remember I haven't probably coming here for 30 years. They're mac and cheese is so light and fluffy and creamy that it tastes like it came right out of the oven and a chef made it just for me. Their cells are fresh beautiful with really good dressing and they're checking club sandwich is out of this world. Oh by the way this place is probably one more affordable place to eat in Westchester. Never updated so don't expect the interior to be too wow you. But you're coming here for the food

Great food. Had to get up and find waitress whenever we needed anything. Wasn't the friendliest. They could use some sound absorbers. It can get louder than JFK on Thanksgiving Eve with just 3 full tables. People also really seemed to enjoy themselves.

Piper's burgers, fries, chili and wings are delicious! Their service is also on-point, friendly and welcoming! The music while you wait for takeout will take you back to the 80's and 90's..it's a family friendly, great food neighborhood place. We drive 20 minutes to get our fill and it's worth it!

My friends and I have been going to Pipers Kilt for 30 years. Always a great hamburger, great Buffalo wings outstanding French onion soup. With that said, it's a small place and when busy gets very very loud, to the point that it's hard to hear the person across the table. On my most recent trip the waitress looked tired and seemed like she didn't really want to be there. A little disappointing. We haven't been there in a while, but, seemed like their prices shot way up.

I concur with other reviewers that Piper's Kilt serves the best burgers in Westchester. I suspect they are using ground beef with a high (20%) fat content. I do this at home...it keeps the burgers moist and gives them a pleasing texture in mouth. One thing I thought was odd was that you have to specifically ask for lettuce, tomato and onion....most places just bring the burger dressed.

We found this place by chance but it was a great choice! The atmosphere is fantastic and comfortable. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The burger tasted like real beef should and was cooked perfectly. The mozzarella sticks were awesome and the fries were remarkably crispy but still soft on the inside.

Not sure what the big deal is about on their burgers. Were barely seasoned. Kind of reminded of my early years when my mother would take chopped meat, roll it into a burger and cook it. Barely even looked like a burger. Was average at best. Service was good. Our waiter was very nice, a blond kid.

The burgers are super fresh and you can taste it. The burger to bread ratio is great. No left over buns. The fries, very crispy and not over salted. The Mac and cheese is very rich and creamy. All the soda drinks come with a free refill so that's great to have. The food was served hot and fresh and stayed hot. The burgers are very plump.

This place does not mess around when it comes to burgers. Some of the best around, cooked perfectly and so beyond delicious. Service is just ok and the restaurant is pretty cramped and uncomfortable, but worth it! If you're not a burger person or just want to try something different, their steak sandwich is also one of the best I've ever had.

Went in for lunch, ordered a burger medium rare and it came out closer to well done. This was true for the other 3 people in our party. Service and quality of meat was very good, however when you are known for your burgers I would expect them to come out fairly close to the requested temperature.

Perfect hamburgers however you like it, delicious salads and appetizers. Draft beers and a variety of wine. They don't cut corners. Super pleasant wait staff. COVID plexiglas framed booths but adds a nice touch for coziness.

Your basic local (greasy) burger joint - food is good but don’t come here for a low-cal or vegan dinner. Mostly locals from Eastchester, so no one bothers to take even the most basic COVID protection measures. We walked in with masks, past a full bar and into a packed dining room; we saw only one other person wearing a face covering.

Great Bar with lots of chatter and multiple games. It's often busy so grab a few and be prepared to wait a bit if you want to eat. Wings are fantastic and the rest of the pub food is very good. Pleasant service.

This is very much a reliable local "go to" pub grub place. We got there on a Monday after 10p as we had just gotten home and the waiter said as long as we closed the dining room tab by 11 we were good. Unfortunately, we wanted wings and they told me they ran out (huh? I don't believe they actually ran out) but since I haven't had an issue like that before I am giving them the benefit of the doubt, everything else was fine and we were out before 11 :-)

We were only here one time, as we were passing through town. The bartender was extremely attentive and personable. We both ordered burgers, they were delicious. I had the Eastchester Burger, cooked exactly as I requested. The side of chili was a bit much food, but tasted great nonetheless.

Great hamburgers. Multiple types. Love the Eastchester Burger that has chili on the side, choice of fries, salad or other (I forgot) plus onion rings. Yum. It's a bar in front and restaurant style in rear. Very relaxed setting. You can bearly get in on the weekends. Service is always great, friendly and knowledgeable. Quick too. But I go weekdays. I also know about the small but usable parking lot in the rear. From Fisher Ave turn into Hillside Pl to find the parking lot ramp on the right. It's side by side a second ramp. You want the first one.

The only things that have changed in the last 30 years I have been coming here are the prices and maybe the daily specials. Most of the wait staff have been here for years, the bartenders are pretty much fixtures too. Outs basic pub food, well prepared and always good. I guess I'll be back again.

My favorite of the Piper's Kilt locations. More restaurant space than the other locations. My friends and I usually head there for dinner every few months just to hang out and catch up after work. My friends go for the burgers, but I can never say no to their grilled cheese sandwiches. There is just something about their grilled cheeses that make me consider request a double order of them when I eat there. Insanely good.

Five stars for the food, but not the service. Was extremely unhappy with our waitress, Jenna. We ordered wings as an appetizer, and asked her how many we get, as we wanted enough for our group of 4. When the wings came out, it was a different amount then she said. We asked her about it, and she said it was done by weight. We told her we took her at her word for the amount so all four of us could get a couple wings, instead of people being stuck with just one wing. Which we reminded her again that she told us a specific amount. She just said that's the way it is, and then didnt come back to our table at all again. We had to ask the guy who brought us our main course for water, and then stare her down again for more water. Wish the service was better, not sure why we just got ignored there at the end as the food was great.

It was great to see the efforts to keep people safe. Disposable menus, glass partitions between the booths. It would be great if all the staff was compliant, it may have been the owner, but an older man serving with a mask dangling from one ear is not exactly comforting.

Nice place. I heard great reviews about the Pipers Kilt. So i brought my family to the restaurant. Food was just ok. Fries served cold on all 3 plates. Sodas flat and watered down, also burgers are big but left a bad after taste. My 16 year old son didnt finish his burger. Thats unheard of. I think its just a OK place to eat.

Great Burgers...but you knew that if you read any other reviews. And while the food is great, I must say they have the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in an Irish Pub...a clear sight of attention to detail...and cleanliness.

Having lived in Philly for past 20 yrs where there is awesome food choices (originally from Eastchester) the Kilt's menu needs a change and a boost in options. Old-fashioned Irish pub. Great selection of beers on tap. Attended for lunch on a Sunday as the brunch special was ending which would have been a good deal. French onion soup, burgers, and other bar food surpass similar spots in the area

Exactly what I was looking for. Came for brunch on a Saturday and sat at the bar. Had the steak and eggs and was pleased. The has browns were of the frozen variety but its fried potatoes so you can't taste the difference, but you can still tell they came from a box. Steak was cooked perfectly, red in the middle and nice sear on the outside. Eggs were great too. Bartender was busy enough for three people and yet, I was never left dry or ignored. He even spent the time to make sure my Brandy Alexander came in chilled glass with just the right amount of seasoning.

Nice local pub. Location: Right on the main strip in Eastchester. Will have to work to find parking. Espically during the Friday & Daturday evening peak times. The Food: Typical American comfort and pub food, the fact that they've been here over 100 years proves that they have these dishes perfected. The Service: Fast and friendly. I've always been greeted upon walking in. Our servers and busses have always been sociable and professional, regardless of how busy the place is. Other Comments: If you are planning on using the Juke Box be sure tou are sitting at the bar, as you cant hear it in the general dining area.

Hands down the best burgers around. I have yet to try anything on the menu that isn't very good. Friendly service. The only drawback here is the parking. If you don't want a parking hassell or to wait for a table, be an early bird.

The beef in the "famous" Piper's Kilt Burger is very tasty and most likely steamed or something like it which makes it moist. The actual sandwich lacks.. they charge for lettuce 🙄 and nothing but jar pickles comes on side. Only ketchup on the table. I say skip it for other more modern places like Bridge View Tavern which most definitely include lettuce, tomato, and mayo, if you like. Beer selection is alright, but again BVT beats PK by a mile.

Went here on a Saturday night about 8pm. A little bit of a wait maybe like 15 min. The host was very down to earth and friendly. Didn’t catch her name. But she was very nice and had a sense of humor. We were seated and had the pleasure of having Connor serve us. His calm demeanor and welcoming smile made our dinner even more enjoyable! Food took a little while to come out, but once it did, it was DELISH!

I completely put aside the plain, old-school decor (wooden booths, non-descript dark wood, vintage sports posters) and even the mediocre at times service, Pipers has the best burger in town. I've been going there for as long as I can remember and its still a mainstay. Good for a bite and beer with friends (CHEAP pitchers) and great nachos, fries and turkey clubs...but everyone knows the burger is why you go. The Eastchester Burger is famous (cheeseburger with a side of chili) and the Bronx Bomber burger is also a favorite (burger with caramelized onions).

The go to place for hamburgers in Eastchester, then a few years ago they changed something and the burgers were hard and dry. Glad to say on my last two visits, a few months apart, the big juicy burgers were back.

Buffalo wings were plump spicy with a hint of peanut sauce; the blue cheese dip tasted home made. The Broadway burger was cooked perfectly - crisp on the outside, melting warm center; truly coated with cheese instead of the typical skimpy slice; buns from some specialty place, sauteed mushrooms with actual flavor. No need to eat again for hours. Loads of muted TV screens with classic vinyl playing. Sports heroes on the walls. Definitely going back.
