Great service. Waiter didn’t bother us a lot like at most places but he made sure we were taken care of. Food was awesome. Kudos to the chef! Great atmosphere! No complaints here

For time at this place. This was a nice restaurant to have lunch with a friend. It wasn’t too crowd being that we reserved for an early time. Very attentive staff they have and accommodating. Food was delicious from what we had. The music wasn’t too loud which was perfect, you could actually have a conversation. Nice and clean decoration. Would recommend.

First time here and woww. I was literally transported to old San Juan, Puerto Rico. The whole vibe was amazing and the service was too. The music was old school new school reggaeton, salsa, merengue. The reason why I gave this place 4 stars was because the food wasn't amazing, at least not what I ordered. I got the chicken trifingo, the garlic sauce was absolutely delicious but the actually trifongo was so sweet, obviously it was over done with the plátano maduro. I also didn't taste the yucca in it. My kids order the fried pork chops and while they say it was delicious, it was so tough they could barely bite through it, maybe they'll go for the grilled pork chop next time. The yucca fries were also not great. Hard all around, not crispy on the outside soft on the inside like we like. Palito de quesos were great and the beef stew looked amazing. My coconut mojito though ! mmhh definitely try it! Overall the experience was great, I do want to go to the made in PR in Tremont, I hear great things about that one as well.

It was a lot of fun. The drink and food prices are moderate. Good music, great decor, signature drinks, as well as classics. We drank our wat through the mojito list with classic, tamarind, passion fruit, and coconut. The drinks are strong. We ordered a mofongo and the Cuban sandwich, and left full with one half of the sandwich in a baggy to go. I was surprised at how full of pernil my sandwich was. Very juicy and tasty. Overall, I’d definitely go back. Seats fill up fast, so keep that in mind.

Made a last minute decision to come here for dinner on a Saturday night. Glad that we did....the food was really good!! Nice ambiance.....there was a DJ playing music but we could still hear each other speaking. Post-covid, so it wasn't overly crowded but a decent amount of ppl.....no one was seated outdoors even though the weather did allow for it. Very large portions of food served....enough to share & still have leftovers for the following day. Would recommend going here!!

My Bartenders May and Sue were amazing during brunch I enjoyed My steak and eggs with my unlimited mimosas and even got to take my drink to go when I was done, the music was dope, very crowded but I got to sit at the bar on the walk in instead of waiting for a table the host said it was a long wait and I was goin to leave til the bartender said I can sit at the bar instead

Very nice place in the South Bronx. Food was very nice and the drinks packed a punch. I read somewhere that someone mentioned that the music was too loud...take notice Mi Gente: it's a Bar & Lounge that offers dining for a couple of hours at a punch...so enjoy!!!💥👍🏻🌴🇵🇷🌎

My experience here was amazing! The staff were friendly, attentive and quick paced. The food was delicious! Everything was as I ordered, freshly cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. I would definitely recommend, five stars!

Went to a birthday celebration from 7 to 9 with the open bar however you had to go to the bar to get your drinks as wait staff would not bring it over. The food was mediocre and by 8 PM the music was so loud I had to leave. I do not recommend this place for anyone on a date or a meeting.

Due to the current circumstances only outdoor dining with limited staff. The service was decent without any issues. I ordered coconut Mimosa, it was good!! Appetizer: Chicken wings were seasoned perfectly without sauce as per request. I requested the sauce on the side. I also ordered tostones. The tostones were delicious!! I can't wait to return back when it goes back to the indoor dining.

The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious however it took too long for the DJ to get and once he gor there it took him to long to get the music started, as a DJ he didn't play enough mixed music he catered more to one type of crowd.

Our first time and it was ok. Drink were good. Empanadas were eas very oily and did not taste that great at all. My son's chicken cutlet was over cooked and dry he did not like it. The rest was ok. It definitely needed to be much better. But overall with the the service it was ok.

The atmosphere and ambiance were great. The vibe was chill and upbeat. The food …. Not so much. We ordered boneless chicken and waffles during their brunch service. The chicken was yummy. The Waffles were frozen store brand. Not even Egos but dried out freezer burned store brand. The other food was good. The server took forever to come back …long enough to prevent a second drink order for unlimited (1 hour) mimosas. The hookah and the Smokey lack of ventilation had everyone’s eyes burning. If you don’t smoke it’s hard to breathe in there. I liked the night but probably won’t go back.

There were so many flies it was annoying and kinda gross but the food was good! The atmosphere was nice too. But honestly the flies killed the vibe. When my steak came out n a fly landed on it, I was over it. I'll try it again one day! A bit pricey as well

I would of given 5 stars, because food and vibe was amazing but felt rushed after we were starting to slow down eating. It was my sisters birthday and we didn’t even get to sing Happy birthday. It clearly says on the table 2 hour eating limit. We waited for our food we were eating we slowed down and they were already trying to take our plates asking if we wanted boxes. I didn’t like that part. We went else where to cut a cake and sing.

The "Made in Puerto Rico" at the Bruckner Blvd location was fantastic. Having visitors from Florida we booked a party of 6 at the tremont restaurant location by mistake. I arrived at the tremont location waiting for the rest of the fam that was on the way. They showed up at the Bruckner location instead and we were at the tremont location. Any how... we made it to the Bruckner location and had a blast. Wonderfully cooked Puerto Rican style food, Reasonable prices and plentyfull portions. Staff was friendly and efficient. Music was good and the drinks where fantastic. We met with the manager and he treated us like family. That same manager made room for us even though we had no reservations there. We had a blast. I'm glad we ended up at the bruckner location. It was a wonderfull experience. Oh also good music at the Bruckner location.

I came here for my friends niece 30th birthday. I didnt even know this place was here. The music was ok even though the dj should have played more american music like some old school r&b and hip hop and reggae.I loved the ambience of the place. The food and drinks were great. I would definitely come back again.

Nice place but if you want certain foods come after 5:30 because the menu is very limited for brunch..also music is ridiculously loud if you plan on having a conversation forget about it go elsewhere its basically a club during the daytime could only imagine at night music should not be this loud during brunch had a headache sitting there couldn't wait to just eat and leave in fact i didn't even order anything because dinner starts at 5 but can't place an order until after 5:30 or 5:45 i was told waste time for me. If your into loud music, holding absolutely no conversation, or screaming at eachother and probabaly leaving with a horse voice this if definitely for you.

Here’s why I put 3 and not 4 stars. The food and the drinks saved the rating. I went on a Wednesday karaoke night. I love me a karaoke but I also noticed that on Wednesday they do not allow fair opportunities for everyone to sing. I noticed there were specific regulars or maybe influencers aka ppl they paid ) that where able to sing at least 3 to 4 times. If your new going on a Wednesday put in at least 6 Songs in hopes u catch 2 opportunities lol then asked the di how they is that people that arrived after my fam did was able to sing 4 and 5 times ? Papi definitely feed me BS and his selection is bias. I would go back only for drinks land service not on Wednesday because they full of it ! (My experience) The Salmon taste good but was over done everything else was delicious(anything with garlic sauce) 😋

Absolutely beautiful everyone I encountered was polite and professional. The portions of food were plentiful I couldn't believe it. We ordered 3 children's plates . When they brought it to the table they looked like adult portions. I was so happy with everything. Thank you all for your above and beyond service. I found my new place to eat.

I loved the place! It’s a good location for a group of friends or for a date if you like the lounge bar environment. I had the Mar y Tierra dish, which is the skirt stake and shrimp scampi. That was very delicious. I also got to taste the grilled chicken and it also was very tasteful. We were a group of five and we all loved our dish. The portion of the food was perfect. They give a great amount of food. Definitely felt satisfied. The service was very professional and I will definitely go back to try another dish and spend a nice time.

Okay just look at this. $35 52oz margaritas!!! Pricey? Maybe. Worth it? Maybe. But just go and get it, it was a very fun night. They ID immediately at the entrance, other than that its a great experience. The hostess, the waiters, servers everyone was so helpful and fun. Im not just saying this because I was drunk, or because it was my birthday. This place is just cool.

This was my second visit here during the day hving the same exact meal, Calamari & Tontones. Both times it was empty with us being the only customers, my meal was very enjoyable & my husband enjoyed the same meal. I had a mixed drink which I enjoyed see the drink menu below. They get a four because of charges for covid, $2 and some change.

The staff was all super friendly. The music got really loud like a club later on in the night when the dj got there. So if you want to have conversations at that time forget about it. The food was good. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they added a 70 dollars charge to my bill that I shouldn't had been charged for... and if I didn't actually take a look at the bill I'd be paying 100 dollars more than I was suppose to. The waiter did correct it after I asked about it, but it shouldn't had happen to begin with. Other than that, it's a great place to go have fun with the gang. Music was poppin.

The staff were great, kept my cup filled. The bread is addicting lol. The hookah is average and over priced. The food was pretty good. The bathroom has two stalls. It was cleaned well and stocked. They are strongly enforcing COVID guidelines. Great for a date or ladies night.

Went for the first time on my birthday and thought it was a place where you could eat and enjoy the atmosphere to walk in and quickly be searched the music was really loud as if you were in a club you had to yell just to get your order in the food took literally a full hour to get a waitress all she kept on doing was apologizing once the food came it wasn't even worth the wait it was a waste of time and a waste of money I'm still confused whether if it was a club or a restaurant or a hookah lounge/restaurant/cub where you can dance. It really was not an enjoyable time.

Great atmosphere, Friendly staff however the meal was just ok, not something I’ll try again. I had the Mofongo with red sauce which tasted like sauce from a can. Not fresh. My sister had the garlic shrimp with white sauce although she asked for garlic sauce with rice and beans. She liked the rice and peas but only ate two shrimps. The white sauce didn’t compliment the meal. Hope you guys improve on the cooking. I am a chef so when I go out I like to taste love coming from the kitchen ☺️

This place was fun. The DJ catered to everyone, the drinks were awesome. I danced my butt off and so did my girlfriends. We got there about 8 and stayed til midnight. Friday night was a great atmosphere. Close to transportation too. Definitely coming back. The food was delicious by the way!

The menu and decor remind me of a typical Dominican place instead of a "Puerto Rican" restaurant. That said, it's very bright with lots of natural light and the outside seating can be pleasant when there's no traffic.

in my opinion, the food wasn’t the best. I ordered the most basic dish; grilled chicken, arroz con guandules, side dish of maduros and avocado. the rice was too soft and mushy, the chicken was undercooked, the avocado was served with many brown spots. the only good thing out of the whole meal was the maduros. the flavor was also not up to par. definitely could’ve used more seasoning. I would rate it less but the server was actually nice so thats what made this review 3 stars. a waste.

I have to agree with both the Good and the Bad reviews here's Why- The first time I ever went here was on Valentine Day with my Husband. The service was horrible 2.5hrs from the time we ordered our food to the time the food touched the table and Nope it wasn't even crowded. I was beyond upset. However, I decided to give them another chance 5 months later for my husband's Birthday. Glad I did because it was awesome, we had so much fun that my friend decided to have her bday party a month later.

Great place to hang out with friends, the DJ was awesome . The food however, not so much. Food was good, just not what I expected based on my experience eating at the other Made in Puero Rico location. They had an oversize jenga, connect 4 and a domino table. We really did enjoy ourselves! A negative thing to note was that they need a better exhaust system. I had to put my clothes in the washing machine as soon as I walked inside my house😷

Went there this past Friday, 1/31, with some friends. Drinks were decent and the hookah was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, two things that didn't sit well with me was the Health rating (B) and the overall smell of the place: old greese. I don't know if the ventilation in the kitchen doesn't work, but the entire place had a lingering smell of old oil. This morning, smelling my clothes I wore last night, I can still smell it. I'd return, once I see an A and can confirm the place smells better

Loved the food, the ambience and the entire staff was phenomenal. One suggestion for the owner/chain Expand in Florida! Specifically Sarasota. There is literally nothing like Made in Puerto Rico here, so much potential and money to be made. Can you tell I'm going through withdrawal because I moved? Lol... Seriously take a look for a great investment down here.

Had a great time celebrating my cousin birthday here, we had brunch. Mimosas and sangria for $10 an hour and pernil to die for. I must say the pernil was the best I've tasted in a very long time. Food was great, service was a little unorganized and the dj wasn't a real dj but he tried and played some hits lol besides that it was a cool place with great food and drinks, super affordable.

I use a wheelchair for mobility. The first time I went to this place, I asked the staff if theres outlets available just in case I need to recharge my batteries, they told me yes theres outlets and if we have to go out and buy an extention for you, we will! Oh my lord, this place has been nothing but pleasant. So acommodating for people like me who are physical disabled. The food is good, the drinks are great, the music is always popping and the vibe is always cool. I love this place !

The music was good but extremely loud, we could barely hear each other talk, the wings were delicious as well as the drinks. We sat by the bar area, we could see the staff eating and smoking hookah there. But at one point we saw a waitres/server taking food to a table, the fork fell to the floor and she put it back on the plate at took it to a patrons table😕.

Wonderful place...the food and drinks are always good. I go back for my favorites everytime the coconut margarita and the passionfruit margarita. The staff is friendly and funny to talk with. Everytime I come here I have a great time. Will diffently be coming back.
