This was my first visit to the Irish Coffee Shop. I ordered Fish & Chips, to go....although the cafe was busy with diners, I did not wait long for my order. Food was delicious, huge potion, with All the condiments and a side of baked beans! Place is clean and inviting with friendly staff. Well Done! I Definitely will be returning!.

The menu was really interesting with many good sounding dishes. It was Irish based so a bit heavy for my lunch. I chose the Chicken, cheddar Panini with garlic mayo and fries. Well, the fries were tasty after adding salt, pepper and vinegar. Unfortunately, the large size chicken cutlets were unforgivably overdone and totally tasteless! It seemed they were overcooked with no seasoning at all depending solely on the cheese and garlic mayo which was good. Made me wonder how all the other wonderful sounding dishes tasted?

My criteria for a good restaurant are tasty food, clean space, and decent service. This restaurant exceeded on all three counts. The food was really delicious, with generous portions. I had the roast chicken, which came with mashed potatoes, cranberry stuffing, and mashed turnips, all of which was really delicious, and I took home every morsel that I couldn’t finish onsite. The wait staff were really sweet, and the food came out quickly, especially considering how busy the place was when we got there. And everything looked clean, including the restroom which was surprisingly spotless. Decor was nice, too. I don’t often bother writing reviews, but this place merited my effort. I definitely will visit again when I’m in the area.

Very Irish, lots of options, attentive service, and has beyond meat as well as salmon options to substitute for meat. Best of all, they haven't inflated prices as much as other places. Homemade brown bread and strawberry rhubarb pie was especially delicious.

It was the first time I ate here. The service was very quick and honestly the pancakes were very very good and when you order bacon you get enough for three people. I did enjoy the breakfast. I like Barry's tea and they even had honey for my tea. It's a nice place to have breakfast or lunch. There were a lot of good choices. I would recommend this restaurant period

My family and I stopped in for dinner after a walk in Van Cortland Park. We tried the shepherd's pie, lentil and curry soup, and kid's roast beef with mashed potatoes. The food was amazing! My 9-yr old daughter said it was "yummy and absolutely scrumptious." The owner / chef is delightful, and brought us bowls of freshly made chicken soup with brown bread to try. We finished up with a strawberry cupcake, ice cream with chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles. It was a perfect meal -- in a warm and friendly spot. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere, gracious hospitality and prompt service. We even took scones and soups to go for the next day. The menu has a lot of variety (from breakfast classics to burgers to Irish dishes), and we look forward to eating our way through it! We will be back!

The Irish coffee shop is one of the best neighborhood eateries in the area. They have authentic Irish dishes and the most lovely staff serving it. Every year we do a company wide Irish breakfast for our staff on St. Patrick’s Day and we would never have anyone else cater it but them! They always make it exceptional, everyone looks forward to it. This year in particular was difficult with COVID so I had to call for a special request, I asked them to make 53 individually packed Irish breakfasts as opposed to our normal “tray style” catering. On one of the busier days of the year this is certainly no small request. Not only did they make it happen but they made it happen well, making a very exciting socially distanced Irish breakfast possible for my team. Not only was the food outstanding as always and the service beyond anything you normally expect but the prices are incredibly reasonable and makes it feel like you get every cent worth of what you spend for the delicious food and friendly service you get!! Now for the food itself, you cannot go wrong ordering anything on their menu. My favorite thing they make is the Irish brown bread. My husband is from Ireland; myself being a native New Yorker, the first time I was there was to visit his family and I fell in love with brown bread. When I order it here it takes me back to the beautiful green countryside of Ireland. Now that is just my particular specific joy but everything they make is delicious and I truly believe they have the best Irish sausage I’ve ever eaten. In the neighborhood, stop in, not in the neighborhood, trust me it is worth the trip!

Yummmmm! Ordered the Steak and eggs breakfast. Comes with your choice of potatoe and bread.. I had the home fries and brown bread. Their brown bread is made in house... it was soooo good, I took a loaf home with me. Everything was cooked to perfection. I left the Irish Coffee Shop satisfied.. I will definitely be back!

From the outside you cant tell it's a coffee shop/diner. The service was fine but the food was cold. I ordered 3 eggs over medium with bacon and home fries. The eggs and home fries were warm and the bacon was cold. The service was ok but the waitress could have been a little more attentive to me. My coffee was cold and I hadn't finished my breakfast. Other than that the place is nice. I felt a little out of my comfort zone. You'll understand if u go and eat there .

Stumbled upon this amazing cafe/restaurant after Eileen's Kitchen renovated two years ago and never looked back. We have a three and five year old and we are very mindful of how food is prepared. We have trialed every cafe/diner in the southern Westchester area and they by far have the healthiest options that our children eat completely. Our food is never dripping in oil or overcooked, and they accommodate substitutions. The personal is outstanding and very attentive. If you have children this is the best place to bring them too. It has ample space and is child friendly. My children would definitely recommend the in house made blueberry scone toasted with butter while you wait for your breakfast! :)
