The pizza was wonderful. The service was fast. Would def return if in the area. Was a nice little pizza shop. It was empty when we walked in and within minutes the place was packed. I had the pizza with the cherry peppers and sweet chili sauce. It was so good. The crust is crunch and holds up. Was not soggy at all. I also had a slice of the bbq chicken. It was good but the spicy pizza was better for sure. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch if you are in the area.

I live right across the street so I've had their pizza more than any other pizza in my life so I think I can be a pretty good judge of their quality. Classic no frills New York pie. Their pizza is generally pretty good but once in a while you get an overcooked burnt pie. Once I ordered a margherita and instead of using fresh mozzarella they used regular pizza mozzarella. But those occasions are rare. There is a reason I keep ordering from them.

Quality pizza with FOUNTAIN DRINKS. I like the crunchy crust, the cheese & sauze were good, but nothing special, just quality pizza. Plain pizza comes thin and specialty pizzas come with a thicker crust. I assume to hold the extra ingredients. Don’t go there during afterschool hours, the place was packed with junior high catholic school kids.

Thin, chewy, crispy crust. Good coverage of cheese and sauce. Very good sauce flavor. Very good mix of cheese flavors. Even though it's $3.50 per size, I'll still give it a 96.

Incredibly low prices (18 in chicken bacon full pie for under $20), crisp crust (can be made soft with some microwaving) and good cheese and sauce. Definitely worth the price. Cash only. We had the plain cheese, chicken bacon ranch and veggie ones and all three were good. The crust being hard (for all of them) was something I didn't enjoy much but microwaving the slice, softened it and made it quite enjoyable. Would NOT recommend their fries.

Amazing pizza but just not the best. Their plain is great. The sicilian is nothing to rave about. And its just so overpriced, and cash only.....very sketchy. Visually the Sicilian looks great, but its not.

Used to go here with my dad as a little girl before my brother was born and shortly after. Took my brother and my son recently and it's one of the only pizzerias left that still have their original authenticity and old school vibe! Made me proud to share it with my son and brother and my brother loved knowing our dad ate there too.

Lovely spot you can tell is a local necessity. The second I walked in with my toddler, the man at the counter said "plain slice, not too hot?" I love when pizza places do that. They were so kind and made us feel like we were family. The pizza was great too!

The pizza is good but everyone has been telling me to come here because it's the best Westchester. Honestly, I found it to be very greasy. I had to pat it with two napkins but after that it was really tasty and had a nice crisp to it. I had a chicken parm sandwich also that was first class and my my daughter got the chicken Caesar salad and she said it was amazing. The prices can't be beat. Remember cash only. A place you should come by

Great pizza and great service! 10/10!!!! The Uber driver messed up our order and the pizzeria fixed it and doubled what we ordered. Staff was super sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back!

The Sicilian style slices were excellent! Great combination of quality flavors, a little crunch, and a soft bread crust. Was also nice to see how friendly the staff were and how well they knew some regulars who came by, seeing as you don’t always get that at NYC-area pizza places.

Had a Sicilian slice with only sauce on it. Asked if they could throw a dab of cheese on top. Took a bite and it was nothing but robust sauce and plump tomatoes with the perfect amount of pizza dough crunch. Delish! Devoured in in less than 4 minutes.

I visited Dunwoodie Pizza for the first time. The location had a steady pace of customers. I ordered a bacon chicken ranch pizza and a Chicken Parm sub. The pizza was far better that others in the area. The sub was very good but was missing something I can't place. I will definitely buy more items in the future and will most likely upgrade my ranking.

Pizza lovers! I highly recommend Dunwoodie pizza just as the article says. It's a friendly place to be. The prices are fantastic and the food is delicious. I had a chance to meet the owner and so did my 81 year old mother. She dragged me there because she said this was the best pizza in Westchester. We took home a pie and a piece of Sicilian as well and enjoyed it. Will be back for their regular dinners as well because our neighbors frequent there every Thursday night. Good luck and continued success. It's clearly evident why they've been in business for over 48 years. Give it a try!!! We loved it!.

We had a pretty bad delivery by a DoorDash driver tonight. All the toppings slid off the pizza completely. I called and they fixed the issue immediately. The staff there is always incredibly nice and hospitable. Their pizza is the best in town!! thank you Dunwoodie

Simply the best in lower Westchester outside maybe that awesome spot in Mount Vernon (Lincoln Ave). Dunwoodie crust is crisp tasty flawless. Love the pepperoni Sicilian!

No matter the combination of toppings, we've always been satisfied with the quality and flavour of their pizzas. My go-to during pregnancy was a half shroom/half sausage pie. They're definitely up there as one of our regular pizza spots.I had the chicken slice the other day and it was decent. Nothing to write home about cause I thought it was a bit dry but good nonetheless.

I love dunwoodie, I have since moved to a different state and they were able to make a custom pizza for my dad who still lives in Yonkers and make the pepperoni into a “56” for his birthday. I make sure to stop here every time I’m back home. This place is the best pizza in Yonkers and they engage in community outreach through sponsoring kids sports teams. Love this place!

Based on a recommendation from a guy, who knows a guy, who knows good food...The pizza was good. I would have to say that the guy who recommended this place knew his pizza and we will be back. Supporting local small businesses like this made me feel a tad less gluttonous having that 3rd slice.

This place has been around a long time. About 6 months ago I dropped in while I was working and grabbed a quick slice of pizza. I have to tell you it was the best slice of pizza I ever had, and trust me I'm very fussy with food so this says alot . Pizza was so thin but yet had a nice little crunch to it. Wasn't floppy. When I went back to work I couldn't stop talking about this slice of pizza lol. Problem is when I went back another day it wasn't the same. Pizza is good but nothing amazing. Now I wish I would of asked who made the pizza that day so I could come back when they are working

Ever since they were named, "Westchester's Favourite Pizza", last year, hubby and I were dying to try a slice. We've ordered from them quite a few times. I don't believe they deliver to us but hubby has ordered our pizzas to pick up on his way home after work.Best pizza ever! Its a little far away but still in my top 5 pizza/italian places. The employees are also very nice. I only went once but i am dying to go again.

Love the pizza, plain yes plain is my favorite when you do it well you need nothing. Calzones amazing! They came in first place 2018 Westchesters best pizza yes they beat out Johnny's in Mt Vernon but as you know its your taste buds your opinion I love trying pizza.

This is only for the pictured slice. Seemed it out after seeing it mentioned in Westchester magazine. The pepperoni reminded me of the pepperoni they use for most pizzas In Buffalo NY which is a very good thing. Tasty slice that's for sure! Friendly counter service too.That distinction goes to Johnny's Pizza in Mount Vernon. With that said, Dunwoodie makes a great pie, Thin crust, numerous choices for toppings, AND you can get a slice.

If you want a classic, no bull pie of pizza, you won’t find one better in Yonkers. The rest of their menu is classic, delicious Italian fare. However, they have managed to really spice things up lately with some new kitchen creations. Ask John and Frankie what they cooked up that day and enjoy! Have a Spumoni Italian Ice for dessert.

Very, very, very fresh ingredients. I cook and food prep before so I know fresh. The Brushetta Granma Slice and and the Eggplant Parm was upto date too. Just add your seasoning, a Lil garlic and oregano (and for me the spicy red pepper flakes).

The pizza I was amazing! It was cooked perfectly not kidding PERFECTLY! Underneath the pizza was cooked just right it didn't flop and just the right crunch. The dough was delicious as was the sauce and cheese. Definitely going back!

Dunwoodie is by far the best pizza in Yonkers. Go ahead argue with me. Won't change a dam thing. The cheese, the pie, the gravy its all the best. Made the best by the best. If you never had a slice from Dunwoodie you are missing out on the best pizza in Yonkers. I've rated them top 3 in NYC. Seriously mouth watering delicious pizza. I drive from saratoga to yonkers just to eat from Dunwoodie.

If you're looking for classic New York style pizza, you won't find better in Southern Westchester. I'm a pizza lover and got a pie half plain/ half pepperoni and it was delicious. I love Johnny's in Mt. Vernon also, but they are different types of pizza.... Johnny's is true thin slice. Dunwoodie is better than Sal's in Mamaroneck that is also true New York style. I live in Tuckahoe/Eastchester and will definitely be going back for sure!!

This place has TWO major setbacks! 1) It's a cash only business! We are living in the 21st Century, you would think that they would get with these modern times. 2) They have an ATM onsite to "remedy" the abovementioned issue, however it's own & operated by a 3rd party company. If and when, it malfunctions; you have to contact the company directly. Goodluck dealing with that headache! Besides that, it's your standard pizzeria food affair with plenty of choices for toppings and calzones. Their greatest asset is the dining space, which is sizable.

Only giving Dunwoodie 3 stars for their lack of enforcing the “No Mask, No Entry” rule with their patrons. It only applies to SOME people that walk in there and not to their delivery driver either. Numerous teenagers walked in, ordered and spat all over the counter and even talked back to other patrons when asked to put a mask on. Despicable, disrespectful and disgraceful. Do better, Dunwoodie. Patrons shouldn’t have to enforce the mask rule for you, you should be enforcing it yourselves.
