Was told this was one of the best pizza spots in Yonkers and I was not disappointed. it’s been around for 40 years and you can tell. Pizza crust was everything. Great ratio of sauce and toppings. I also got the cheese cake which I am glad I did! It’s homemade by his mom’s original recipe. Great slice.

They used to always have the best pizza. Now their pies look more like a deep dish pie instead of a restaurant pie. The flavor isn't the same & where they always had thin crispy crust, now the crust is thick. Where we would always go for their pizza because you couldn't beat their pizza, now we go there for their regular food. I miss their great pizza & it's really a loss if you never tasted their delicious pizza before it changed to what it is now. You can't blame it on new owners or new workers because the same brothers are making it. I don't know why they went to thick crust & the different ingredients but its a shame & should be against the law that they ruined the best pizza anywhere.

I previously gave this review a 3 I don't know maybe they had an off day but I have ordered from them a couple of times since then and I have come to appreciate this mom and pop joint that is actually owned and operated by Italian Americans. The penne alla vodka is Gold! You have to try it and if you are lucky enough to get their fresh baked bread you are in heaven. The pizza is good too and the eggplant parmigiana is excellent it looks like they make their gravy home made and they do not overly salt the food which I have come to appreciate now.

I only wish I discovered this place sooner. It's my favorite Italian restaurant in the area now! All of the food is so delicious, especially look forward to the warm homemade bread and spaghetti bolognese! Give Dom & Vinnie's a try, you won't be disappointed!

We ordered delivery. We got chicken parm and meatball parm sandwiches and swapped half so we got to try both. Both sandwiches were excellent! Big and tasty, perfect ratio of meat, sauce, and cheese. The bread was fresh with a nice crust. The Campagnola potatoes were so good! I do wish there were more potatoes in it, but that's just because we ate them so fast! We're using the rest of the onions and peppers for lunch today.

I'm a bit baffled that my coworkers look forward to dining here every Wednesday for their pasta specials. I joined them for the first time today and was entirely underwhelmed. Pasta is overcooked and mushy, overly salted, and the "carbonara" sauce was not as described when I asked the server about it. I asked what was in it as I know a lot of American "Italian" spots include onions in their carbonara and the server said nothing about them so I thought I was safe - but no, I was served a dish I was allergic to. I ate around them as best I could as I am not anaphylactic and wasn't interested in making my coworkers late, but I'm not excited about the tummy ache I'll be dealing with. When the server took it away he asked if I liked it and I explained my allergy and I was not offered an apology for the lapse in communication. For what it's worth, it is also a cream-based sauce so if you are dairy-free or otherwise looking for an authentic carbonara, you won't find it here, but the server was at least transparent about the cream when I inquired about the preparation. I was then charged $2 more for the dish than is listed on their website - and the listed price is still more than what I received is worth. I have recently paid less for a similar dish in Manhattan, where I was given a larger portion. I'm being generous with 3 stars as they clearly do care about their regulars, such as my coworkers, and the service was quick. Ultimately, it is overpriced and if you aren't a regular the service leaves room to be desired. I don't plan on being back. Edit for the owner who has replied: i was upfront about not being able to eat my dish and we were still charged, so while I appreciate you want to keep things positive, that is not what I experienced. Additionally, only 2-3 of the pastas on the specials menu were listed as $10, and while that is a good deal, it isn’t reflective of the rest of the prices you offer. Sincerely wishing you the best, but it isn’t for me.

My family enjoyed a delicious Sunday dinner & Dom & Vinnies. The service was stellar and I'll be back to try other things on the menu. We all had doggie bags; the portions are very generous. My pork briasole was braised to perfection. Their red sauce has a lot of flavor and I enjoyed this entree. The staff was very attentive & welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

The ingredients they use is a step up and higher quality from other local pizza places and is absolutely reflected in the freshness and flavor of their food. I've been going to Dom&Vinnies for years.Always have a great meal. Nice sized portions, the food always tastes great, and nice people work there always helpful don't give you a hard time if you want something different then how it is on the menu. They say whatever you want will make it for you. Even now I've been there a few times even though you can't sit down and eat there, I've done pick up and it still tastes great. I would highly recommend this place. Great Italian food!!

Quite Possibly one of the best Red Sauce establishments I have had the pleasure of dining at. I grew up in The Bronx(Morris Park) and have eaten at all the local italian spots. This place completely blew my mind away with their Sunday Braciole dish. I couldn't believe it to be quite honest.

Great place Used to eat here with my family when I was a kid, so I was in the area and tried it out. It has the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese, the sauce itself is delicious and unique tasting on its own, and the warm, crispy crust just brings it all together to be one enjoyable slice. If you're in the area, if recommend to give it a try.

Every one is so friendly and kind and I love how it is family-owned. I have been pleased with the food and service every time I have gone. For the amazing food I got, the price was very low. I have been coming here with friends for over a decade. Good food, but I feel it has gone slightly downhill over the past few years. The chicken francese leaves a lot to be desired, and used to be my favorite dish. Never had a dish like this that failed the taste like lemon multiple times. I thought the pasta was very average. Had a decent seafood pasta once, but it was only a special that wasn't offered again on my different trips there. Nice guys running the shop and good customer service, but menu is your typical Italian fare with inconsistent specials, and the food is just average.

Came in from out of town. Had a party of 15. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The waitress did a great job attacking sure everyone was happy and we never had to wait a long time for anything. The food was amazing as well!!

This place has been our go to place for mannnny mannny years. The food is good the family & staff are great but the pizza has changed. They used to make excellent thin crispy crust pizza and cheesy without being overly cheesy. Now you have to request for the crust to be the way it was always made and it isn't as thin or as great as it was for centuries. Nice cozy place & food seems to be the better option over their famous pizza now. I will keep trying the pizza from time to time to see if they got that old famous pizza back again. The pizza was a picture of beauty.

Molto Delizioso... The food is amazing at this restaurant. Do not be fooled by the low prices because the food is absolutely top quality. The Pork Bracciole is the best I have ever tasted, which is saying a lot since my Italian Mother is a great cook. Dom & Vinnies makes the most authentic Italian food in the NYC area. Try the mussels in pink sauce, you will love it! Even though it is a 30 minute drive for me, I find it is well worth the trip. My wife and I love this place and after a wonderful meal, I still have cash in my wallet. Went back recently and everything was great. It’s actually gotten better!!

I would give the 3 stars only for its past ! The Resturant has totally changed, the pizza is not anymore the pizza we used to.. last time i have been there i ordered a soap which was not hot ! And the taste was like i heated the 1$ Indomie soap, the server brought me a different plate than the one i ordered. Took them 20 minuets to prepare it where the quality was horrible ! Dissatisfaction and contradictions between the prices and quality..

We love Dom & Vinnie's! Classic southern Italian food. Pizza is great, specials and regular menu equally wonderful. It's on our regular rotation of Italian restaurants. Chicken parm, stuffed meatballs (special), caesar salad, lasagna, cavatelli with borccoli rabe and sausage (special) to name a few favorites. The cheesecake is right between italain and American styles and is what we always hope to have room for, we make it to dessert if we stop eating the entrees in time, sometimes we misjudge and make it a no dessert night. Even the bread is so delicious. I would take anyone there. If you have a party of more than 4, call ahead so they can put a few tables together or hold a round table for you.
