I’m from western Massachusetts and I went to NYC for a weekend trip. My friend and I had heard that New York has the best pizza, and I couldn’t have been more excited, since pizza is one of my favorite foods. I got a couple of slices of original pepperoni pizza. I am not exaggerating when I say that this pizza is the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had in my LIFE. (That is 22 years of pizza I might add.) I had stopped at 6 different places for pizza that weekend, in NYC and the Bronx. We even took one more stop back to this place on the drive back home because we knew we would never have pizza this good back home. 10/10 recommend, you HAVE to visit Broadway Joe’s Pizza. You will not regret!!

This is REAL NY Neapolitan pizza at its best. Been buying pizza from Joe's for like 40+ years, still the best! crisp crust, quality cheese, and delicious sauce make this MY favorite in the city!

A Riverdale staple, Broadway Joe's is the quintessential neighborhood pizza spot. Staff is welcoming and accommodating, the orders are ready quickly, and the food is always spot on and tasty. What else could you ask for in a pizza shop?

First time I had pizza in this place since 1977. Thought it was very good then, think it is very good now. The Cons? Should be more generous with the sauce. Should be less generous with the salt. The Pros? Just about everything else. Generous amount of chewy well-cooked cheese. Very good flavored crispy, chewy crust. 4.6 Stars.

The best pizza around and probably the biggest slices always. You never have to worry about getting something bad from this place.. garlic knots have the perfect amount of flavor and don't cheap out and forget to get the cup of sauce

My favorite pizza place in the Bronx. Admittedly, was my first at a young age, but always consistent service and quality. Family like environment, very welcoming. Thick crust pizza, excellent garlic knots. Highly recommended.

Let me tell you that as native New Yorkers for 40 years my wife and I have been everywhere in all boroughs of this city. No one and I mean no one has beaten Joe's pizza for flavor and price. We now live in Maryland and travel 2 and a half hours to Joe's whenever we need our New York Pizza fix. It's worth it.

Really good college kid pizza. This isn’t a gourmet slice. It’s heavy and doughy, but it carries its weight well. Try the stuffed chicken slice if you’re hungry and looking for a big meal out of the place. Getting a cup of hot sauce on the side is 50¢ well spent.

Pizza at its finest! Family owned Pizza spot that has been around for many years....conveniently located across from Van Cortland Park and close to Manhattan College, they serve a variety of things, not just pizza. The only place that I've been to where they sell stuffed pizza!

The first time I had their pizza, I was 12. I am now 47 and the pizza is exactly the same as it was 35 years ago. This place is, by far, the best. I'm going down their today with my 4 kids to have lunch. Hopefully, they will be able to bring their kids someday.

Amazing food and very friendly workers. You have to try their Sicilian slice. If your really hungry get a Stuffed Chicken slice, but be careful because you might not make it to class because it's so good.

I miss the days of eating really good pizza in Manhattan, like Ciro's, which used to be on Chambers, etc...it's been a long time since I've had that 'taste' - REAL pizza, not the 'fake 'n bake' you get from more recent pizza joints in NY. One day, on my way home to CT, I wandered into Broadway Joe's in the Bronx...it is truly legit, as it used to be, not over-done, back to basics, the real deal...keep in mind that, no matter where you have pizza, 100% of the population will not agree entirely on a single place, but if you want to taste history, try Broadway Joe's...I've eaten pizza at hundreds of joints in NY over the last 33 years...today, most follow a template that is ridiculous...it is hard to find this natural flavor that is truly missed. YOU be the judge!!!

I used to go here a lot when I lived in the area. The pizza (nice thick crust, reminds me of Chicago style thin crust) and the spinach rolls... mmmm, spinach roll...are so delicious. I gotta go back and pick up a Spinach calzones. Mmmm, spinach roll. That's exactly what I'll do... Go get a slice pizza and a spinach roll. Then go down the street to Lloyd's and pick up a slice of carrot cake.

Before getting on the train I decided to try this joint. My phone battery was almost dead and upon peeping in the window I saw there were outlets under some of the tables. That sealed the deal. My chicken park sandwich was very taste and served in about 5 minutes upon ordering I also charged my phone and used the bathroom. What more could a guy want before getting on the train Dam I miss this place already !!

Just moved to riverdale 10 month ago... I’ve been looking for a good pizzeria around here for a while… I’ve tried supreme, Riverdale pie guys… But let me say that Broadway Joe’s Pizza is the best pizza I’ve had EVER!!!!!.. I ordered a pie today and it was fantastic, They got a customer for life‼️I have to pass by the place and see the owners to meet them personally, because their pizza game is PERFECTO!
