I don’t even know where to begin!!! The food is a solid 10/10- and if I’m being completely honest, this has got to be some of the best, authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten. My new favorite spot for real. The portion sizes are also extremely generous. Not to mention that the restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated- the walls, the booths, the chairs. And the staff was extremely kind and patient. You are really missing out if you don’t try it!

First off.. the restaurant is the most authentically decorated I’ve seen.. the chairs, walls, booths all tell a very rich story with adorable art! The food was absolutely delicious with just enough spice to make your mouth water.. the rice and beans were my favorite part! The staff was beyond kind and patient into explaining the dishes and getting us hot, fresh delicious food! Thank you Jenn for such an incredible and authentic Mexican cuisine experience! Will definitely be back for some more tacos and bistec! 5/5 ⭐️

Best tacos in town of Yonkers , tried many spots but this place hits different . Meat is well cooked and the tacos come bursting with flavor , don’t forget to try to salsa is you like to add spice really good . Still have to try out the rest of the menu but I know it won’t disappoint. 10/10 for customer service as well

Had a wonderful experience the food was delicious,Fresh and good sized portions. I Highly recommend this restaurant it was clean and beautifully decorated. The enchiladas mole , bistec tacos and the quesadillas were all very good. The salsa was fresh and the chips were warm and crisp, the way it should be.

I’ve been on a birria taco kick recently, after trying them at a food truck taco festival, and I’ve had them in the Bronx and Westchester too, and these were the BEST! Three was too much, they were so full of meat and cheese- most places are pretty cheap with the beef, but not these. I reheated the third the next day and it was still amazing. Killer consommé! Still piping hot when I got home! Highly recommend the birria tacos! I’d love to try more items, but I might just go back for more of those tacos!

When it comes to Mexican food I'm very particular in my choices. There's a lot of places who claim authentic Mexican food and lack delivery. This place however is the complete opposite, I was really impressed by the staff and the young lady Jennifer who helped me out and was attentive throughout my dinning. Definitely try out the pipián! Will definitely be coming back when visiting from LA! 👌🏽

I recently heard of this restaurant and decided to drive from Poughkeepsie NY to give it a try and it was well worth the ride. From the colors of the restaurant to the food and service it totally blew my mind. The authentic dish like mole reminds me so much of my grandmother back home.

Great place to eat mexican food my husband had the molcajete and tacos de birria i am not a meat lover but those tacos where crazy good they came with a small bowl of consome it good. I had the huaraches 3 came in the order and they were a good size and very delicious i usually eat alot but i could only eat 2 of the 3 huaraches. I am a picky eater but i can say with certainty that this a great place to eat mexican food !! Even my 5 yr old ate all his food !

So here I am back in my old neighborhood strolling along with my teenage son. We came upon Banquetes Dona Cheli and before I rate the delicious food I want to talk about the family that started the business. The mother is the exclusive chef and the details that she puts into preparing chicken tacos are superb. I places 4 orders of chicken tacos with everything on the side. From the cilantro, onion, jalapeño Napales, sautéed cibolla and the sauces can’t forget the lime….this is authentic good home style Mexican cuisine. If you are ever in the neighborhood please stop by at 34 Park Hill Avenue, Yonkers and speak with any of the chef’s children. They are courteous, smart, food savvy and really know the richness and uniqueness of Mexican food. The tacos were so good that before I left to head back home I had my son call in another order so that I can have my wife and other som try these chicken tacos! Thank you to the whole staff and next time I’m in Yonkers and am hungry I know where to go for comida autentica! Gracias!

The food has good flavor, the bad thing is that its fridge does not serve and they give you hot soda they put a glass with ice but it will never be the same as a very cold coke just for that minimum detail for them I am not going to return with my family anymore, al At first I thought they broke the fridge, they are going to repair it, and I haven't been going for about 3 months and it's the same, hot, so no, we won't be back.
