Love this place! I grew up right by here. Came for lunch with my fiancé after visiting my sister for Christmas. The service is always fast and friendly and the food is always good. Usually I would get breakfast but today I got a chicken pesto panini sandwich, which was delicious and the fries are definitely the best, so crunchy. My girl got the beef shish kebabs, they were served on a platter of rice with a scampi sauce. It was very good and the portion size was huge. I Will always come back here when I'm in the neighborhood.

What a pleasant place to stop by after seeing the new Jurassic Park movie! The neon signs alerted the diner vibes inside me. Upon walking in, the dessert/to go counter there. There is a commendable amount of seating, which would be a great place for post bachelor/ette shenanigans, graduation, or birthdays! They have a large menu at affordable prices, so you would be able to find something to your liking. On the right hand side, was an old vintage radio with a photo of their special man on top. Not sure who it was, but it was super cute! Possibly a past owner! The radio doesn't work. When ordering tea, just remember to ask for caffeinated or decaf! The food was good, typical diner food which I love. I did order the meatless "The Spa Burger" which consists of avocado, alfalfa sprouts, cheddar cheese and red pepper mayo on a wheat bun with fries or potato salad, coleslaw and a pickle. No alfalfa sprouts and i got a red pepper instead of the mayo on a regular bun, lol. We went in at around 1 am so I didn't mind, it was still good! The homie ordered a waffle with banana, but got the OLD banana on the side, haha. If we ever did come back to this area, we would go back. It was a nice quaint place with mints on the way out. Definitely good vibes!

I love this diner. I hadn't been during the pandemic. But in the past 10 days was there twice and nothing has changed. Chain restaurants can't hold a candle to this diner. Our server, Romon, is magnificent in every aspect. And the amount of food they serve is what keeps the regulars coming back, yes their food is very good and the 🍨 desserts are to die for (LOL). Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

This spot is one of my favorite diners in Westchester that keep the old American diner spirit alive. I have been going here with my family for years. Everything on the menu comes out with great portion sizes, tasty. The prompt and great service is also a huge plus! Highly recommend

My family have been coming here for over 35 yrs. we came and had a specialty salad and for dessert a dish of fresh strawberries with whip cream. The whole meal was very enjoyable. The staff as always is friendly, polite and attentive. A really nice place to come and either relax while having your meal or bringing family for a nice family dinner. I highly recommend it.

Was recommended this place while we were visiting from out of town. Our waitress was Kim and she was extremely pleasant and helpful about what to choose to eat! She knew the menu well, and recommended us the coconut shrimp to start and i had the chicken madeira for dinner. Both were delicious! When in the area again, we will be back!

The spinach pie was delicious & nice portion. The salad was lacking mixed greens & tomatoes. Feta cheese & cucumbers were fresh. There was no option for the spinach pie as appetizer choice. I was looking for a smaller piece at a lower price. I received the dinner meal at $17. I was there late at night after a fun Halloween party. I really liked that Lefteris gyro restaurants give you that choice. Please change your menu to appetizer choice. Miss that! Thank you!

The food is fairly decent, but the Owner's just won't shake their attitudes. Please don't disagree or share opposition to them because its hard for them to be professional and take personal feelings out of the situation. It's a Diner on Yonkers Ave in Yonkers NY, used to be 24hrs but no more after covid19. They serve just about everything on the menu at all times, except oatmeal - because they make it in fresh batches and once it's gone, you'll need to wait until the next morning. Very friendly staff. Very casual crowd. The owners, or their family members, are always around, and many staff members have been there for a very long time. Very good food.

We are here from Virginia for a funeral. We ate breakfast here..waitress was very nice as was the busboy. The waitress was very sweet with my 1 year grandson. Prices were about average for this part of the country and the food was very well prepared. If I lived here, I would be a regular!

The food is good diner food, and definitely hits the spot when it's 4AM and you've been partying and need to eat. The service staff is friendly, and they have all the typical choices on the menu. The guy at the front, however, - who takes people's payments, answers the phone and is the first person you see when walking in (an older, kind of chubby man) - comes off as somewhat rude and dismissive.

The staff is truly some of the best, the waiter I had took 4 orders without even having to write anything down and got every specification made down to the wire and still provided an entertaining conversation. I had a chocolate and vanilla milkshake and was delicious. Many options to choose from and the overall restaurant has a classic diner vibe. I would recommend trying it at least 3 times, once in the morning, for lunch and dinner, worth it. Don't be surprised if any of the staff start up conversations with you, they are just very friendly.

Good food at great prices. I like the old rail car feel of this place. The food here is good. The service is attentive. Coffee is great and they come around often to refill your cup very frequently. Most of their desserts are made on site. Tip well because the staff makes sure you're treated well.

The Argonaut has been my go to diner since I was young. The food is always good and the staff is very friendly. There are a lot of options when it comes to the menu and it is easy to get overwhelmed but everything I've had is good so you can't go wrong. I also love that it is 24 hours because sometimes you just need a last night snack!

Some food is good some not so much, but definitely way over priced for a diner, for these prices the food should be high standard. They can charge 35 cents for a take out tin but they forget the essentials like salt pepper and ketchup or crackers for your soup. Food is bland enough. For these prices you should have a better chef!!!

I love the chicken fajitas, the classic combo appetizer, chicken parm hero, the burgers, paella and the desserts. Desserts are way too overpriced. The service is fast and they are always super nice. I eat in, take out and have it delivered. I usually call and they have my food ready for pick up.

Argonaut has only disappointed twice in 20 years (1x take out burger, 1x cheese cake). Overall service and food has been consistently good, prices are okay. Their paninis and wraps are of good value. Never had to wait for seating. The portions are big enough to share or take home. if not starving. When asked to have fries cooked "well done" they do them right.

Only giving this place 3 stars for the waiter because he was very nice and on point and also the fries, we had ordered a margarita on the rocks and it tasted like a cup of salt it was very very hard to drink and when we told the “manager” she refused to make another drink or not charge us for that disgusting drink. In a way she told us it was our taste buds that was wrong not how she made the drink and laughed in our face. The bbq chicken burger was nasty as well. DONT ORDER DRINKS FROM HERE THEY ARE NASTY ESPECIALLY IF THE “LADY MANAGER” (looked like the daughter of the manager) MAKES THEM 🤢🤮. She was extremely rude very unprofessional smh. All she had to do was make another drink and apologize for making such a nasty drink or not charge us 10$ still for it because we left it on the table.

Good food at a medium price. Staff was attentive however the bathrooms were in shambles with trash all over the floors and the roof seems to be leaking in numerous places. The patchwork to fix it is rigged on the ceiling from the inside not the top on the outside. It wasn’t raining when I visited but bring an umbrella if it is when you visit!

The food here ranges from really good to mediocre. Their Argonaut chicken is pretty much a sure bet. Their greek dishes are a standard. Their desserts are home made and look fabulous, unfortunately they don't always taste fabulous. Its a great go to place for late night dining and their brunch, and Irish breakfast are very good.

I love eating here and enjoy the short wait to receive my food. Staff is good and friendly except for one waitress there. I go there pretty often with my girlfriend and there is a blonde waitress to the right side (where your seated) that always seems to be bothered t be there. I have having to have her as a waitress, she is tall, blonde and rude. It almost does not make you want to eat when she is there to serve you.

This is an excellent place to share with your love ones, it is not expensive, it has parking space, it is wide and clean, the team is very friendly. In this Dinner I met with my husband three years ago, and eventually we relive that moment. They have a lot of variety of food and it is open 24 hours. I love their quesadillas, canolis and their cappuccino.

Argonaut is a neighborhood staple. I usually go there for breakfast, onion soup and/or appetizers. I save dinner type stuff like steak or pasta for restaurants specializing in those particular items. That's just me. The menu is quite extensive and there is something for everyone, I'm sure. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall a pretty good diner.

A great diner styled in the way diners used to be. The food is solid. I especially recommend the spare ribs which were exceptionally good. The souvlaki platter is also excellent. The meat was slightly overdone for my tastes but still flavorful. The Pina Coladas are also excellent. A great place for food and nostalgia! Ad Jesum Per Mariam!

I had a really nice meal and the waitress was very accommodating even though we didnt need anything special. I decided to get a piece of Lemon Coconut cake to take home. When i got home i immediately wanted to devour it. It was dry and then as i had a few bites i realized it was spoiled. I was just going to throw it away and forget about it but the next day i called and told them (as a courtesy really). The girl that answered the phone told me that nobody else had a problem with the cake and to call back and speak to a manager if i wanted. I didnt call back but i wont trust to take anything home anymore.

Feb 10, 2018 I went to Argonaut with some friends as a night cap and we were greeted nicely when we came in, we were sat immediately at a booth. Our server was friendly, and the Food came out prompt and the appropriate temperature for what we ordered. I will certainly be back #MunchieApproved

Been eating here like forever, since the ever greedy Yonker Raceway expanded to Casino. Food is great, ALL STAFF very accomodating extremely nice up to the manager and owner. So far all food we ordered can't complain.. 1 time i didn't like the steak (overcooked) and they cooked another batch to my liking. the best diner so far in Yonkers.

Absolutely hands down the best diner in Yonkers! I haven't eaten every item on the menu, but you pretty much can't go wrong with anything they have. If you're not sure what to get, order any of their wraps; they're delicious! Whether you're coming here for a meal, or ending your night out at the bar you will not be disappointed. (Pro Tip: If you're with someone else, both order wraps you think sound good and go half-sies 😁👍)

Sandy is the BEST! This diner has decent food and the decor is that of any usual diner. Clean and has a tempting dessert case that draws you in as you enter the establishment. The true gem of othe place for me and my husband is a server who is there late in the evenings named Sandy. You can tell Sandy is seasoned and takes pride in caring for her guests. She anticipates your needs before you have to ask for them - a full coffee cup, a refill on your hot chocolate or soda. We've visited on an evening that she wasnt in, and the service and food were good, but we really missed seeing Miss Sandy. Great diner, definitely recommend.

The service was good and the food was good. the prices are too high and they automatically attach to a gratuity to my bill, and there was only 3 of us at the table so that was ridiculous and they charged 18% gratuity which is also ridiculous. This is a great Diner, the service is good, Large Menu, Great Kids Menu, Cool Theme and Decor. They have an elevated electric train tracks that runs an Oval track about 10 feet high around the chair counter in the front as you walk in. Rich History in Yonkers, they've been here forever. Really cool pictures of Famous people at the Diner, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and plenty of Actors. Overall really cool Doner with a Large selection of Great tasting food. Awesome spot to take the Family to on a Sunday or Great to hit up at 4 AM when you just left the bar drunk...lol Either way you will love it !!!

Good food. Open 24 hours for walking and also does a late delivery. They dont offer their original stuffed French t ok at anymore which disappointed me but the newer versions of stuffed French toast is pretty good. I tried the BlackBerry version. I enjoyed it. I did not try the nutella flavor stuffed French toast. Someone please let me know if that is good as well. I hope they bring back the original recipe.

I have been going here for over seven years since moving in to the neighborhood. The wait staff and hosts are true professionals. They do care about how they provide service and work very hard. As for the menu, reading through it is quite daunting (they make almost everything!). I have had their fettucine alfredo with chicken dinner offering. It is consistently flavorable and fresh. A salad or soup is added to the meal. Their meatloaf and mashed potatoes are also very good, with solid, rich gravy. For breakfast, they offer many choices of omelettes and platters. The coffee is always freshly made. If you are in the neighborhood, coming from the racetrack or casino (right up Yonkers Avenue a short walk away), Argonaut Diner is a fine place to settle in and fill your tummy.
