I don't like many Italian restaurants because I'm not a big fan of pasta but this is my go-to place when we're up in the area and the other night did not disappoint. Linguine with clams was excellent and we took home a sicilian pizza that was even better. Plus..there is always enough to take home for another meal.

The place is not much to look at, and I almost didn't go in as a result. I am sooo glad I did though. The food was super tasty, the portions were huge and the staff were super friendly. I would declare it the best home style Italian food in the area.

Got the Fettuccine Primavera for lunch. Huge portion. Zucchini, Broccoli, Mushrooms, fettuccine pasta, fresh chopped tomatoes, sautéed in Wine and Garlic sauce. Delicious!

First time eating at this restaurant. The place was clean. Lots of choices on the menu. We ordered a cheese steak, side oder of fries, 2 slices of Buffalo chicken pizza. We were surprised that everything was large. The cheese steak was big, so much meat it was falling out the roll. The roll itself was good too. The slices of pizza were large and the side order of fries covered the plate. I loved that. Great value. We had to take 1/2 home. We will be back. 7/26/22 Stopped in again for lunch. This time tried the calamari. Not good but they give you plenty of it. Everything else was good. I'll go back but will not order calamari again.

Every time I visit this establishment when in town, it is like I am in heaven! The cuisine is to die for, the portions are generous, the owners always greet you with a smile! One of the best food restaurants I have been in all my travels! Your meal is always made with Love!

Decent pizza, better than most in the area. We got the thick square style with sausage and mushrooms. They have a good sausage that is nice and thin on top. Was a lot of cheese on the pizza and I am more of a sauce fan, but I still liked it a lot.

Everything is fantastico! CAFE NAPOLI is a local institution. They haveve been serving the community with tasty, freshly prepared dishes from close to 30yrs if not more. Not just Pizza (which is amazing) theres a host of hearty main courses & pasta varieties, The seafood rissoto is🤌 1-portion could feed an army. Also don't leave without trying the cannoli, I've had the rest, I'll stick with the Best... I 'try' it every visit!

I told two people I was going to Cafe Napoli and they both said they loved Cafe Napoli and go there all the time but never got the cheesesteak. The cheesesteak reflected these statements. The meat, fried onions and mushrooms work great together. They were finely chopped, spent time on the grill together, got mixed together, got to know each other and their flavors blended well together. Unfortunately Cafe Napoli doesn't make a lot of cheese steaks because the Cheesesteak wasn't put together very well. Good amount of cheese but it was not mixed in well. Good overall experience.

Amazing!!!! I eat here approximately 2 X a week. I get the Penne Vodka with more of a cream base and less tomato. It is absolutely amazing!!!!! The staff is always friendly!

Wow, this cheesesteak was as big as my head! (Disclaimer: My head is roughly the size of a large cheesesteak.) One of the best I've had. Made 2 meals for my mother-in-law. Wife loved the pizza. Wait staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Cool decor. I'll be back!

I've been going to this place since I was a little kid. It has the approval of my Italian grandpa and my New York family. All of the servers/staff are friendly and super accommodating of my brother's food allegies. It's Italian owned and run, and they treat you like family. Don't miss the wedding soup.

I've ordered pizza here before and it's quite good. Had dinner and the food is mediocre at best. Box pasta, canned sauce, frozen seafood brought to boil too quickly. It's what you would expect of a strip mall Italian restaurant. If your standards are low, you'll be perfectly happy with it. Stick with the pizza.

Me and the wife decided to stop in and try the food we were very surprised how delicious the food was they allow you to have the food your way we substituted this for that and it was so reasonably priced the portions are great I will go back I recommend this place to anyone and everyone if you enjoy Italian food I can't wait to go back and they do serve wine to go with your pasta dinner

This was my first time eating here. What a great experience...all the people I interacted with were friendly and courteous. I had shrimp and calamari on linguine which taste fantastic and the portions our large!! Can't wait until I'm in Delaware again to return. Definitely recommend this location.

Coming from New Jersey, I really wasn't expecting much when it came to the pizza in other states (besides New York). I've tried some in Pennsylvania, in Maryland, in Arizona, in Utah, and even other places in Delaware and never had good experiences. Yet I found myself in the area for some work, and really wanted pizza. My coworker and I both got two slices, which were absolutely divine. He got a slice of plain and pepperoni, and I got a slice of the "spicy" herb chicken and bruschetta, and we were both extremely impressed. To directly quote, "it honestly doesn't even feel like we're out of state, I feel right at home!"

It's a little "hole in the wall-ish" but it's always good. I'm about to eat vegan here and the husband eats whatever he wants. Pizza is phenomenal. Pasta seems to be made on sight. Sauces are amazing.

Ordered Sicilian pizza, wife had Garlic n Olive oil Angel Hair pasta... both were great. But, pasta came out 15 minutes before pizza. I expected Sicilian to take longer but also expected timing of entrees to be closer. Staff was great and apologetic. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Have been to Cafe Napoli many times. If to grab a quick slice of pizza or for a sit down meal. The service has always been wonderful. The servers are very attentive. Just an all around enjoyable atmosphere. Last time i was there i ordered a daily special. "Zoodles of the sea" zucchini noodles with clams and shrimp. Wonderful meal.

We came here for a large get-together. We were given four entrée choices. I chose the crab filled shells in pink sauce. Everyone enjoyed an excellent ceaser salad and bread prior to our meal. Our meals were all wonderful and the service was great. Portions were large and atmosphere was nice. I can't wait to return.

This was my second time dining here at Cafe Napoli. I enjoyed it so much that I celebrated my birthday dinner with family here. The food is delicious!!! The portions are generous, great Italian food, and well worth the price. The wait staff and chefs are all friendly. It's nothing too fancy and from the outside looks like a pizza place, but they have dining areas and you can book for events in the back. It's 45 minutes to an hour away from where I live, but for me well worth the drive.

I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Nice family setting. The food is great and so is the service. The only thing I can say that I wish would change is that there isn't anywhere to change a babies diaper!...many families with little ones like myself would appreciate this detail. Otherwise it's one of our favorite places to eat!

I feel this is one of the best local pizza restaurants in the area. I’ve never been disappointed with any of my pizza orders. They offer a great selection of Italian food. They’re always busy when I go, so order ahead of time online, choose your pickup time and it will be ready as ordered. They are on the expensive side. They don’t deliver. They have indoor seating. If you’re willing to drive, I recommend trying them out. They’re located by Kohl’s on Kirkwood Highway

Favorite go to restaurant, don't let the pizza shop look from the outside fool you. Inside in the back there are tables and family style atmosphere. If its a date with a friend there is a great choice of wins to be had, by glass or a haft canter. The photos are beautiful to enjoy, either pizza or pasta you can't go wrong. Very fresh and tasty food. We went there for dinner and ordered Gnocchi and Penne Pasta that was just out of the world. Best gnocchi we have ever tasted in the US. The portion size was large and the service was prompt. Taking one star because of the bad experience with the appetizer - Garlic knots were bit too dry and mediocre. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Will definitely return.

This restaurant might not be the best Italian restaurant that you will ever go to, but you will get the best bang for a buck. I went with 5 others and we ordered 1 pizza, 2 pasta and 1 risotto - weren't able to finish. Why? because they gave us SO MUCH! Again, all dishes were great. Give it a try

Being there this evening was the first time that I myself had ever been there. We were nearby shopping in the Dollar Tree when dinnertime hunger struck when we walked out to the car so Lynda pointed over there and said let's go in, their food is awesome. I was very impressed with the attentive quality waiter who took care of us! We had the sausage, ricotta, and mozerella Calzone and it was huge. The waiter described it as being big like a football or something like that. It was thick and loaded with lots of tasty cheese and sausage. We enjoyed the bejesus out of that and stuffed our faces til we about popped. Prices are reasonable. We will be returning. They are true Italian folks running this joint and are all very nice people who greet you when you first walk in, they say goodbye when you leave, to have a nice day, etc. They're an all around good bunch of people that serve great Italian food with a friendly smile. Lynda told me this evening that the next time she suggests us go down to Seasons Pizza that I better correct her and tell her no, were going to Cafe Napoli instead!

Great pizza. Love it. Sauce all the way through under the thick, gooey cheese. They got the spices just right, crust is tasty and not burnt. And a large is truly a large. Not a medium passed off for a large. Their Buffalo chicken pizza is to die for. Bacon, onion, sweet pepper the best!!! Recommend Large or Extra Large, seems everyone eats it up like there's no tomorrow or order it when you know your kids are gonna be out of the house. :)

The food is usually SO good, though I thought they could have seasoned our dishes a bit more on the night we dined. The balsamic chicken that a friend had was dry and it tasted like the balsamic was poured straight from the bottle, I was expecting it to be a reduction. That being said, I have loved this place for more years than I can remember. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are huge, and despite this one experience, which was good, just not great, as it usually is, I highly recommend it.

The food was great! The only thing we did not like about it, was all of the entrees came out at different times. And not like a minute or two, but almost ten. One was brought, about two to three minutes another one came, then about five to seven minutes later the other two. But again, the food is really good. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I went with my boyfriend and my parents and we all enjoyed it.

Good 'old school' Italian restaurant with large menu selection. They have all the classics, with a few unique dishes as well. Their pizza is decent, but there is definitely better in the area. Prices are reasonable, and you get generous portions of food. It's located in a large shopping area, so finding a spot isn't too much of a headache, but you might have to walk a few rows if it's a busy time of day.

It was a busy Saturday evening visit to one of my favorite restaurants. Lots of people were enjoying pasta with a choice of several delicious red sauces or one of the classic Italian dishes served there. I had a very generous cheese steak and fries to go. A little expensive but portions are large and they are free with the red sauce.

The food was much better in the past. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was okay. The bread crust was too hard to bite. The oil bottle was on the table. The Alfredo was okay but lacked the twang. Would have been nice to have a small side salad with the meal.

I ate here for the first time last night and I got the Down the Shore spaghetti with gluten free penne for takeout. The sauce (marinara with crab meat and Old Bay) was delicious and so flavorful. My only complaint is that the penne was a bit over cooked and mushy, but overall I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to returning!

Our family loves this place, definitely one of the top for Italian in DE. You can walk in for a quick slice of pizza (several varieties available) or dine in and select from the menu. The chicken parmigiana and gnocchi are go to faves, but I tried something different today, seafood risotto. It's delicious, creamy, loaded with shrimp, crab, and scallops. I've got enough for another meal in the fridge now, but that's no surprise, as I never finish their large portions.

Always get good service and the food is mostly great. Most recently had the fettuccine Alfredo which was very good and fresh tasting. Only thing I'm really not a fan of is the bread. It's just really plain, dense white bread and the crust is too hard.

The best thing I can say about the restaurant is the staff and owner very friendly. However, if you are looking for quality food and not quantity this is NOT the place. Among our dishes ordered were the chicken parmigiana. Two huge plates and it was a massive serving for $18. I don't want to sound sarcastic, pompous or arrogant, but . . . If you really like their food, then you don't know good Italian food. Over garlicky, spaghetti in a plate of water and a Bolognese sauce no detectable meat. 'Nuf said.

Food is delicious and hot. Pasta is al dente and sauce is mouthwatering. Portions are massive, and prices are reasonable. Staff are always professional and friendly. Environment is clean and inviting. I’m a very happy girl after a trip to Café Napoli. Do yourself a favor and try the Tortellini Alla Pulcinella— and don’t forget to save room for dessert.

Food is great with humongous portions. You can even buy homemade sauces by the jar. Staff will accommodate your tweaking the menu with substitutions. Atmosphere is very noisy and always crowded so not a place for a romantic date. Plenty of leftovers for home.

The staff is very friendly! We’ve ordered take out before but tonight was the first time i’ve eaten in. Overall the food was fairly good, we received bread which was cold so pretty average, we also ordered broccoli bites which were not what we expected, they were fried balls of broccoli bits and cheese inside severed with ranch. We also ordered mozzarella sticks which were also average. For our meals we got the vegetable lasagna, it was ENORMOUS, filled with lots of cheese and little vegetables. We got a cheese pizza which was your typical cheese pizza and pretty good! I ordered gnocchi pesto, it was also ENORMOUS!! It was very filling and i could only have a few bites but was average. Overall we had a good experience because of the kind staff and comfortable setting! but WARNING: PORTIONS ARE HUGE!!! the pasta dishes could feed at least 3 people! Will probably come back and get something smaller! thank you cafe napoli for an overall good experience!!

I love this place. We eat here once a week. Just had them cater my engagement party it was amazing. I ordered it for pickup it was piping hot and they loaded it up in my car. Very friendly. But I will warn you it is always busy.

Since I grew-up in So. Philly, I think I know Italian food. This place compares to some of the better, if not best of Philly. Pizza's are very good, main courses in the restaurant area, equally good; nice gravy (sauce), real cheeses. If you'd like a Philly steak sandwich, but don't want to drive 35 miles to eat standing-up at Pats or Ginos, order one here; you won't be disappointed. Try it, but be prepared to wait at dinnertime, this place is *not* an insider's secret.

My favorite entree here had to be the Chicken parmigiana. There is just something so satisfying as biting into a thick slice a chicken smothered in mozzarella and covered in their homemade marinara sauce. The servers are also friendly also. If you have not tried Cafe Napoli' then you should do so. You will not be disappointed.

This place is fantastic! Coming from an Italian family where many of my relatives are "off the boat", I'm a real stickler when it comes to going to Italian places. This place is incredibly authentic. Stick to the Italian entrees and pizza and avoid any of the "normal" quick foods you can get at other places, such as hoagies/subs, chicken fingers/wraps, etc. I highly recommend the Eggplant Parm; it's the best I've ever had. Plus, the portion is so hearty, you'll have extra for another meal or two the next day! The Veggie Lasagna is incredible, and the Gnocchi is always on point. Best of all, this place is incredibly affordable. The staff is always very polite and the restaurant is always clean. If you go during peak hours, you might need to wait a little bit for your food to get done, but it's totally worth it. If you haven't tried Cafe Napoli, do yourself a favor and do so as soon as possible!

As restaurants go this place gives you the most for your money that I have seen in a very long time. My wife and I go here to have their chicken parmesan and it is enough for three meals. The first is the one at the restaurant. Then there is enough left over to actually make two more meals. Every dish I see that comes past me when I'm here is extremely large. So, even though the prices are average, for Italian restaurants, you get a lot for your money.

This Italian joint is legit. They make outstanding food from start until close. I work late frequently and have never had a problem getting a quality hearty or light meal late at night from them less than an hour before their closing time. So satisfying and quality made with the freshest of ingredients. Their staff makes great meals for hard workers because that's what they do too.
