Just wow. Ethan I thank you for your awesome service. I hope you liked the joke on the receipt about not giving a tip. Service was fantastic good vibe the cooks out did themselves. They know how to joke around and with some of the clientele in there they know how to be very serious and to the point. Definite recommendation. I purchased the Southwest Burger medium. It was very on point love the barbecue sauce. My girlfriend first time to the beach got the shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. I've been coming to the beach for over 16 years I was stationed at Norfolk this is the first time I've eaten here and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you staff thank you cooks. If you're going to go here tip well.

Excellent food. Excellent service. I wasn’t sure about the “upcharge” for hush puppies as a side but they were really good! It was early in the season for oysters so they were kind of small but very well prepared. The only complaint was that I had to send the silverware back *twice* before getting clean utensils. I recommend everything in the photos and I’m looking forward to coming again.

Evan was an absolute delight. Kind and attentive. A great waiter. Food was delicious! The breading on the fried fish was light and the fish was tender and plentiful! The she-crab soup was ok. A little thin and had a lot of shell in it but was very pleased with the actual amount of crab!! Would definitely visit again.

This place is excellent! The staff is attentive, kind loving and happy to accommodate your needs. With a nautical vibe and dark lighting, this makes a perfect place for a date night or a girls night. The food is delicious, I recommend the crab dip, and the drinks are well above expectations. The owner is a pure gentlemen and the bartenders are a few of the kindest women i’ve ever met :)

Brooke was our waitress this day after Labor Day 2022. She was on her game today, fully explaining the menu selections and recommending items equal to our appetite. The price was representative of the quality and quantity of food delivered. Lastly, there was no wait and the food came quick. Really good experience. No doubt we will be back to take it in again.

I love a good fried seafood platter and they did not disappoint! Got the fried fish and shrimp and it was delicious. The she crab soup was really great as well. I ordered carry out and it was ready in less than 20 minutes and everything was piping hot.

We went there for a thanksgiving buffet and enjoyed it a lot. Our server David was always there when we needed him and kept our table full of drinks and free of clutter. He was a refreshing sight from our usual no energy, neglectful service at other places. Food was hot and cooked and seasoned well. Although I'm sure the buffet is not their usual setup they executed it wonderfully and we will be back to try their regular menu!

I came to Virginia Beach during the off season in early Feb/23. I ordered the 2 lbs. of snow crab legs combo, and honestly, they were the best snow crab legs I've had in over two decades. At first I was skeptical about ordering snow crab legs because I had some of the worst at a place just a few blocks down the road two days earlier, but I'm glad I took the risk. They were outstanding! Also, the service was superb and really friendly. Had a great time. Love this place. I'll be back again.

Been invited by a friend to join his group for the certain time specials that are available here. last month was all meat etc, no pics, left phone in car, this past sunday was seafood.........OMG.... small place, hardly any parking, was packed full once again, hope i get another invite.

The place was very accommodating even with the Rona situation. We had a party of 12 and everyone was happy with their order. Hello had the crab sandwich (with real crab meat) it was ver nice. Fries where season fries - delicious. My wife had the fish tacos and 2 others in the group and loved them. The grilled tuna fish sandwich was delicious- season to perfection. We are here in Virginia Beach for a couple of days and are all glad to have stopped at this place. Prices not so bad considering it has a lot of seafood on the menu.

I would have rated this place "3 stars" if it wasn't for their excellent customer service. The reason: their fish tacos were not good, because the cook let the whitefish fry too long. The owner took it off my bill, so I was good. I also had wings, and they were tasty. One of the guys I was with had bang bang shrimp, and they were delicious. The other guy had a cheeseburger, and he said it was amazing. It looked great, but I did not like that he asked for it to be well done.😖 Our server was a super star! I would definitely give them another try, because I value great customer service.

We went there twice during a recent trip to VA Beach. It was convenient and I have to agree with the reviews that we read about how good it is. Even talking to others who were dining there, everyone said it was very good. We sat outside and felt like it was safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nautilus was a great choice for fast tasty food. In mid November I wasn't sure what to expect. Service was very quick and the food was delicious. As you can see we had more than enough crab legs and sides to share. We will definitely come back again.

Sorry we came in after you closed but you still seated us anyway, google says you close at 930pm, our bad. We got the King Neptunes plater. We loved the crab and shrimp, the oysters were the smallest ones I've ever seen but I'm from the west coast. Overall the clams and oysters didnt have much flavour but that's what the cocktail sauce is for. We had the twisted pina colada and would have had more. The she crab soup was the best part after the crab. The price is what you would except for for location half block from beach. Would return for buffet after covid.

Visiting Virginia on vacation and was looking for somewhere to get some seafood. Stumbled onto Nautilus and decided to try it. Got there around 6pm and they were busy with a wait. So we sat at the bar. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. Had the crab 🦀 leg dinner and shrimp appetizer. Both were outstanding. Tried a few of the mixed drinks as well. Mango colada was great and if your here it is a must you try the orange crush drink it's something special for sure made with real oranges 🍊. Enjoyed the meal so much were gonna go back before we leave to head home.

Food is AMAZING!!! Firecracker lobster bites are EVERYTHING! A must have!!! Great variety of cocktails, staff is attentive and very helpful. Tables are well spaced and comfy, bathrooms and dining area very clean. Will definitely be back!

Great spot right in the mix of things along the strip! My wife and I really enjoyed our meal outside under their tent. We shared the crab dip and it is out of this world. My shrimp tacos were delicious and my wife's chicken sandwich was very juicy and flavorful. The hushpuppies were slammin', I just wish I had room to finish them but we were stuffed! Great spot!

Had the steamed crab legs they were okay, but for 25 bucks you kinda expect more than just two crab clusters, even some cole slaw would've been good or even a tiny salad something celery even. And sadly the cluster part of each crab was dirty and nasty looking which those usually have a huge amount of meat in there, I had some the day before that were clear and white as snow (from Harris Crab House), these were pretty disappointing. My friend had the peel and eat shrimp and those were good. So the whole thing wasn't a complete bust.

I was hoping for real fried fish. It the breaded and minced like the frozen boxed fish from the grocery store. I expected better quality for the price.

friendly staff however it is over priced for what you get. 15 dollars for a standard bacon burger with fries. my fries were cold when the meal arrived however they replaced them with hot fries in a few minutes. They did not ask how we wanted our burger cooked. The burger we received was overcooked and I presume pre-cooked so it was dry and a little tough. The second set of fries on the other hand were fresh, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside so they were very good.

We got in around dinner time on a Monday. After my husband driving 5 1/2 hours from Pennsylvania. We checked in to our hotel and we were starving. We came across this place our waitress was very friendly. Food was very good. Definitely recommend.

Lobster bites were really small and we were served a total of 5 - very disappointing for the price. The “Delmonico” steaks consisted mostly of fat. Ethan, our server, was super nice and helped with drink recommendations. I was also a little turned off that other servers were working without their hair tied back. Disappointing experience overall.

Nautilus is another good restaurant in Virginia Beach. The waiters were nice and attentive. The prices are good and they have a great variety of sea food and other dishes. My wife and I went there in late fall for dinner and the restaurant was not crowded which provided a nice atmosphere and better attention from the staff (they are good anyway, but it is nice to have the place almost to yourself, especially for a date!) 😀

Had the shrimp basket with fries. Came out hot but shrimp was a little for my taste but fries was seasoned great! Chicken breast basket with fries was okay. The chicken breast was smaller than the bun but taste was good.

Management needs to address proper attire with wait staff our waitress shorts were barely enough to cover her bottom, her jacket was longer than her shorts. I know it is the beach but you still need to dress proper in a restaurant.

This was a nice little outdoor, seafood cafe. The service was great! The prices were a little high but not too bad being so close to the beach. Also, the portions were large, so that helped make up for it. While we were there, they were setting up for a live band that probably started playing shortly after we left. I wish we could have stayed, but we had a lot to do today.

Amazing food and service! We visited for lunch and I had the chicken power bowl. It was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the fish tacos which actually had onions on it (which he is allergic to) they quickly got him a new plate and he said they were fantastic.

Our server Darya was great. The food was good. The steak was a little thin for my liking but it had good flavor, cook as ordered. Salad bar limited but good and fresh. Rolls were great! My wife lobster was good portion and tasty. Dessert was good along with Good, hot, fresh coffee. Facility is dated but clean. I would recommend.

We got there for happy hour and got the appetizer seafood sampler.. for $14 we had the biggest mussels and oysters we've ever seen!!! Completely worth it. But we didn't have dinner. The sales tax on food here is 11%.. . But we liked it. Nice people

The food was alright. It wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst either. It was not crowded. The waitress kept asking us if we knew the prices of the food. I felt like she was implying that we couldn't afford it. Then she packed up my meal because I ordered off of the menu, and she wanted to leave it at the edge of the bar. I felt like I wasn't trusted to not put my husband's food in it. I told her I wanted it on the table, or I would forget it. I felt that it was a little over priced for what you get, even ordering off of the menu. I'd rather eat at red lobster. The food is better and you get more for your money.

The food is average but the service is excellent and very quick...she was on the ball and hustling. As for the "maitre de" help out front to seat people...they must be a comedy act 🤣 We ask about a table... the two helpers out front say maybe an hour, maybe right now???

Buffet is OK but over priced. Crab legs and peel & eat shrimp were actually pretty good but most of the remaining buffet was mediocre. The mussels and steamed clams were an absolute F, not good at all, chewy and old. Salad bar portion was weak too. On the flip side, their desserts were quite tasty. Service was pretty good too. At $29 it is over priced. Probably worth a $19-$20 meal. My wife got a steak (strip), instead of the buffet and it was pretty good. Anyways, overall, not terrible but not great.

They don't have that wide of a selection of types of fish, nor was the quality that great. If it was a cheaper price I would give it a 4 star. If it had more selections a 5 star

I ordered the steak and steamed shrimp. It was served with roasted potato wedges. the meal was a special $23.99. The steak is tasty, but very thin. I ordered it medium (it was served medium-well). My friend ordered medium-rate, it was served medium-well. She returned her's, it came back medium. The shrimp was steamed with Old Bay, peel-on, tasty. Service was not bad, our waitress seemed to be the waitress on duty. To be fair, It's March & cold, the off season. Nothing fancy, just okay. My friend suggested a small salad and some bread would be a nice touch on a meal that costs $24-$28. I think thats a fair assessment.

Good customer service. Salad bar and dessert bar was good. Dont eat the tilapia or soups. They tasted moldy and burnt like they sat at the bottom of the pan for a few days or weren't fresh. Price of buffet seemed steep for the selection but the crab legs and shrimp were good.

We weren't impressed. The selection on the buffet was okay, nothing crazy; but, the food was hit or miss. We liked the BBQ ribs and fried shrimp, and the snow crab wasn't bad at all, but other options seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. The steamed mussels were dry and fishy, the rice and mashed potatoes had no flavor at all. Some dishes weren't kept very warm either, which was a little concerning. All in all, it was about what we expected...maybe things are better during peak season? Our total with two buffets, one beer, and two frozen drinks was $115 after tip...

We arrived after 9 pm and had the pricy buffet. I tried most of the seafood to include the steamed crab legs too salty for my taste. Much improvement needed at this late hour most of the food was a bit dried as if they had given up for the night. I like oysters but I could only try one because they were small and did not look well preserved. The employees were great, smiles everywhere

If you are a seafood fan for a good price this is the place to go. I got crab legs and they were delicious. Like most places they have something on the menu for non-seafood lovers. We had a great waitress and it was a fun environment.

Don't let the outside fool ya... The food is delicious. No complaints there. Everything was fresh and yummy. The selection isn't extensive but with crab legs offered on the bar, most don't eat much else. But, given the minimalistic variety, the price is quite high, especially after they automatically add the 18% gratuity. If price doesn't matter to you, it's perfect. If it does, know going in the bill will be roughly $100 for 2 people, enjoy it as your big seafood meal while at the beach and chalk it up to being part of the vacation.

On vacation, this restaurant is not too far from my hotel. Saw they had buffet with Alaskan crab legs so decided to eat here. Crab legs are huge. Price is very reasonable for the size of the crab legs. Not that much smaller than king crab legs. Gave four stars because the rest of the food is kind of bland. But the buffet is well worth the price.

My God, the prime rib at this place was heavenly. My wife and I visited this place twice in one day; one for breakfast, one for dinner. For breakfast we had the "breakfast buffet". The difference between this buffet and other buffets is that they make omelettes in front of you, fresh, with fresh toppings...all you can eat. The scrambled eggs, fluffy and buttery...that's all you need to know. It was amazing. They also have a "Dinner Buffet" where I had the prime rib...WOW! A nice medium rare prime rib. The cook cut me a very generous piece. It was large and I could not finish it. It literally was mouthwatering. For you guys out there, the waitresses were unbelievably hot. Beautiful model-like waitresses. I caught myself staring. Schwing! Definitely planning a trip back.

Our order was for take-out ,We waited outside in the car cause it was raining ......the staff came out in the rain ...brought our food to the car!....nice!....the food was delicious!....an enjoyable experience, highly recommended.

Visited during non tourist season. The buffet was everything I wanted. At 6'4" 320lbs I left here full (usually don't happen when I eat out). At $36 a person I had every piece of seafood I could ask for. Server was great and the buffet was hot and fresh

Excellent breakfast! The $12.99 breakfast buffet is a excellent.The usual eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes, but also french toast, grits, biscuits and gravy, made-to-order omelets and crepes (I recommend the nutella ones). Also lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola etc. I felt sorry for all the people standing around waiting for hours at the Pocahontas waffle place just down the street, when this terrific breakfast was available just 2 blocks away. I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

The customer service from the server was A++. Also the food was terrific! However, expect to pay $1.00 more than what your total actually adds up to be. When I brought this error to the mngrs attention, she told 2 lies in the same breath! At least a minimum of 100 customers per day, 7 days a week=$700.00+ in someones pocket. Scammers are everywhere! It wouldn't had been so bad except the server admitted that several other recent customers had brought the same issue to her attention. Obvious scam. But hay if you're not a person of principle then the good food and service are totally worth the extra dollar

Nautilus offered a great buffet experience with a varied seafood menu, the soups were delicious and they had crab legs comming out of the kitchen pretty regurarly. Some of the fried food was a bit over cooked but it was still fine. They also had some delicious meats available! The only disappointment was the dessert section which was filled with tiny factory made versions of mousses, cakes and pies... still friendly staff and good price for all you can eat seafood.

The environment was okay service was excellent and pretty good items on the seafood buffet....but some things were overcooked like the crab legs shrimp and some other Seafood items...ordered Burger with the egg which came with two patties as a surprise and chicken parmesan and they were overcooked as well... if they didn't over cook the food it would get more stars but the stars were for the selection of seafood they had on the buffet and the service is really where the stars come in play
