One of our favorite dinner spots!! If you’re in the mood for a good salad I highly recommend Lucky O! Pictured is the chicken, bacon, and ranch sandwich along with the crab burger & loaded mashed potatoes! Which will probably be the cheesiest loaded mashed potatoes you’ll ever eat! That makes them top notch in my book. I can’t ever go wrong getting the shrimp dinner either. Go ahead and stop by this local favorite🥰

Friendly greetings upon arrival. Server came quickly. Food was served very quickly after ordering. However, our server was not very friendly. It was fine, she did her job, nothing went wrong. There were several times I thanked her, for brining drinks and food, she had no response to any of them. Nothing was said, she just walked away. That was a bit odd to me. Oysters on shell were fresh. Loved it. Food was overall not bad. Not impressive but definitely not bad. No complaints.

We had a party in the private room at the Lucky Oyster. The service was great! The food was good too. I haven't eaten oysters in years. I'm not an oyster lover, but I will eat a few on occasion. When I saw them on my plate, I thought it was something else (I had The Outer Banks platter). Once I tasted it, I knew they were oysters. They oysters were crispy and well cooked. The shrimp and scallops were really good! They also had a nice crispy coating. The crabcake and fish were okay. For the side dish I had loaded mashed potatoes. Everyone who had them loved them.

Always friendly and the food doesn't disappoint. My husband and I got the fried and broiled version of a huge seafood platter. My favorite were the scallops, but everything was good. Huge salad that was crisp and fresh. we will definitely be back.

I was on vacation in VA beach for 11 days and we are at a lot of places. Hands down this was one of the best places! The food was so tasty, the staff were all super nice, and the service was fast despite it being busy. The prices are super reasonable for the fare and area, and the portions were ample in size. There was a wait at 6pm Friday, but not too bad of one. It was so worth it! Had to snap a pic of the chocolate lava cake, AMAZING! Left stuffed and very happy with some good leftovers.

FLAWLESS. The atmosphere is incredible. The wait staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is phenomenal. This place is a gem in Virginia Beach. If you have never been here, you are missing out.

This was my first time at Lucky Oyster and it won't be my last! Especially with the wonderful service provided from Angie!! Excellent 👌 Because there are so many items I want to try - I did an appetizer smorgasbord. 1st the Oysters Rockefeller - 8 large, delicious Eastern Shore Oysters with spinach, crumbled bacon, and melted cheese! 2nd - the fresh oysters, hand breaded and lightly fried to order - this appetizer is not on the menu, but still available if you ask nicely..LOL!! 3rd - the Blackened Tuna Bites - fresh caught tuna lightly blackened and served with our own Lucky’s Bistro sauce. 4th - the Eastern Shore Clams - a full dozen Middle Neck clams ours were steamed but you can get them on the half shell. Everything was delicious and the fried oysters, exceptional! They have an array of dips & sauces too. 👍 I look forward to a return visit for the “Neptune’s Feast" - Broiled Crab Stuffed shrimp, broiled Scallops, Oysters Rockafeller, and fresh fish finished with a Bay Shrimp scampi sauce!!!!!

We had a great time at the Lucky Oyster & the food was delicious. We loved the nautical decor & our waitress, Maddie, was great. My sisters also enjoyed the hand scrub in the bathroom.

We were quickly seated and our drink order was taken. I ordered the Outer Banks Fried Platter. All the seafood was cooked to perfection. This is a restaurant I will eat at again when I'm in town. Very pleased!

Well worth the 10-15 minute drive from the resort area to south Sandbridge. Plenty of parking so no need to hunt for a space. My mother and myself were greeted warmly and cordially upon arrival. The decor is themed towards commercial fishing and done in a tasteful manner. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Now to the important part, the food. First off, bring your appetite because as you can see from the photos these are not small portions. I decided to get an appetizer of Lucky's Famous Nachos. (Pictured center) which consists of red white and blue corn tortilla chips a layer of melted cheese, lettuce, pico de Gallo, scallions and blackened tuna, which was my choice, or chicken. The next dish to arrive was the side Caesar salad (Pictured right) that I had ordered to compliment my entree Rockfish scampi (Pictured left) I have to admit to only having eaten Rockfish once or twice before so the prospect of a Rockfish fillet stuffed with scallops and shrimp over garlic mashed potatoes and covered in a lobster cream sauce was intriguing and I discovered very tasty as well. Overall a excellent dinning experience. My mother and I will definitely be dinning here again on our next visit.
