Came here from out of town for Marine service school. Even though they were short staffed, service was still amazing. Food and drinks took a little bit longer to come out but all were worth the wait. Our server was very sweet too. If you are ever in a city that has a Bonefish Grill you need to go give them a try. I had the bang bang shrimp for the appetizer, my all time favorite. It had just the right amount of spice in the creamy sauce on top too. I had the Cod Imperial for the main course. It had the lump crab, shrimp and lemon butter on top with the mashed potatoes and coleslaw for the sides. I tried some of my coworkers crab fries that had lump crab and bang bang sauce drizzled on top. So yes definitely we'll be coming back for sure when we return again for school. Until next time. 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Love the bonefish grill! Bang bang shrimp tacos are hella delicious. They have a new pasta dish with creole flavors and the trout never disappoints. Love the Chilean sea bass as well and the key lime cake is surprisingly mouth-wateringly good. Also, they do support our Military and give a discount. Service never disappoints and this is always a family favorite!

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE At this bonefish in Virginia Beach! Service was amazing, our waitress was friendly, responsive, relatable and just AWESOME! The food was perfectly prepared, well seasoned and cooked to my specifications (I asked for it well done) and it was delivered with a smile! And my GOD the molten chocolate lava cake was sinful! The whipped cream was as thick and creamy as icecream. The strawberries were fresh and presentation was amazing. Highly recommend and ask for AMY when you go. She is new but she is amazing! I highly recommend and will go back again.

This was beyond what I expected. It was my first time eating there and I didn't expect it to be such a higher quality than most places with "grill" in the name. This is now one of my favorites. The one young lady who seated us was a little unfriendly but our server, Vee and everyone and thing else was wonderful. The ambiance was lovely. The cost was just right and quality of food on point. I almost don't want to stop talking about it. Bone fish grill you are 5 star.

My wife and I celebrated our Valentines Day last night since we were working all day today and decided to hit up Bonefish, I have to say 5 out of 5 stars all the way across the board. Being the owner of a local restaurant we could tell immediately after we were sat ( in a very reasonable time) that Bonefish is a very well run establishment. Kendall was our server and she had to be one of their best associates on staff. The food was delicious and came out promptly. We had the bang bang shrimp for an app, it is a local favorite and must have when you dine here. Then we both had steaks. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you will not regret it!

First impression is one that this is a restaurant with class. Decor is lovely, service very good and menu is appropriately varied. Prices are customary for a seafood restaurant. Food was flavorful. French fries had some of the longest fries I have ever seen. All in all, it was a very nice place to have lunch.

Our appetizer and main entrée was so fresh and delicious! I LOVE their warm crusty bread and pesto dipping oil! The real hero at this restaurant was our waiter, Dante. Phenomenal customer service, he was just a really nice, down to earth type of person. My friend and I will definitely be returning! Oh! The mixed drinks are delicious too! 🍹🍸🥃

Friendly service. Menu and wine list was basic but prepared correctly. Fun drink menu if you’re into that kind of thing. Bar had TVs with lots of games on. Definitely a good spot for watching sports.

I visited Bonefish Grill on 10/29 around 8:30pm The host made me feel uncomfortable. They did not make eye contact with me but maintained eye contact with my company. The server was pleasant. They were very patient and made the entire table feel seen and welcome! However the server got my entire order wrong which was disappointing. I ordered the BlackBerry sangria. I order sangria at every resturant I visit and this was the lowest ranking drink for me. I prefer a stronger fruity taste. This drink had a watered down taste. I also ordered the Bonefish Signature Pasta with salmon. The dish was delicious. Let's put it this way - the poor dining experience was worth the dish in the end!

Got together on Saturday with 20 family members for lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious! Chef Donald and his staff did a great job getting our food to us in a timely manner! Everyone enjoyed the food so much that we had to give him a round of applause 👏🏾 👏🏾I don’t want to leave out our servers, they were very friendly and courteous. Thank you for your great customer service! If you haven’t tried Bonefish or haven’t been there in awhile, you’re missing a treat!

Daniel was great! Food was spot on! Ordered filet w lobster tail. Cooked perfectly! Bang bang shrimp was good as always but they slopped it in the sauce was a little much! But still ate it ofcourse! Me and my husband came for Easter dinner 2021! We were very impressed with the ambiance, dim lights, white table cloth on tables and sultry setting. Our waiter was very spot on with making our martinis, 🍸 the blueberry martini and Duvall were exceptional as far as taste.We had no wait time walking in door nor reservations, but they do accept reservations. The food was amazing! We had the bang bang shrimp appetizer which was super flavorful! For our entree we had blackened salmon that was cooked with perfection. My husband had the sea bass entree.The only food item that was bland was the mac and cheese, it could do for some salt, pepper, and more cheese. Other than that we left out feeling happy with our choice.!

Let's start off with the Bonefish Grill in Virginia Beach is awesome! This time my family and I went to the Bonefish in Chesapeake. My husband and I got the 7 once steak ( medium well ), mashed potatoes, and veggies. The steak was very dry, I didn't even have to cut into!! I sent it back for another one, they take the steak and leaves the plate, now I'll have COLD mashed potatoes and veggies once the other HOT steak is ready... Are you serious!! The whole plate and experience sucked for me! I usually take pictures of my meal, but my plate of food was not appealing at all.

Food was good and the bartender was nice. Unfortunately she got sent home and the manager finished serving us. The manager barely came around and only asked if we was ready for the check. I wanted to drink more but I wasn't asked so we paid and left. The manager messed up my experience. Even worse it was my birthday.

We had amazing drinks, food and service on our first visit here. We had the pineapple first, then pomegranate martinis. BOTH were delicious! Also had the bang bang shrimp tacos and pork chop with mashed potatoes with mac and cheese... also very good. Portions are definitely generous. Looking forward to coming back to this location.

Dorothy was my server. Very friendly, professional and personable. She took the time to chat with me and gave me great food/drink options for my picky taste buds. We need more Dorothy’s in life . Btw this was my first time visiting Bonefill grill. The beautiful African American female server who sat me was warm and friendly . Also the African American gentleman who brought out my appetizer was a delight, warm & friendly. I didn’t quit love the seafood pasta but it was a good option, liked the shrimp appetizer served. The smoky bourbon drink presentation was like no other, the cherry inside tasted a little spoiled. Overall good job with staff & cleanliness

The restaurant is well decorated. This restaurant is slightly dim but it did not affect my reading of the menu. There is a bar at the front of the restaurant. The place is well decorated and is very big. The servers were really friendly and polite. The food is slightly pricey but still affordable. The dishes were delicious and were well presented. The only downside was that there was too much butter on everything.

The wait staff went above and beyond. Really great customer service. My wife Filet mignon was ordered to be well done, and it came out more on the medium rare side. She didn't complain at all, but the waiter noticed it and offered to recook it for her. The second go around it was still pink again the wife didn't complain he apologized again, and returned with a whole new plate of food. Again this gentleman went above and beyond to ensure her food was prepared the right way whether she said something or not. The manager came out apologized and even comp the meal. But we are people who appreciate great customer service and ensured we tipped him properly and gave praise for their service. Mind you they were about to close as well. We truly value customer service, and they did a great job!

Came for a friend's birthday party and was not disappointed! We were brought into the back room which offered privacy for us to enjoy our meal and not worry about bothering other patrons. I ordered the salmon it was a special for the day with spinach, goat cheese and artichoke hearts! Let me tell you it was amazing. Not to mention the drinks, two of our friends ordered the treasure chest old fashioned and YOU NEED TO TRY IT!! It's delivered in a smoking chest adorned with gold coins! Bonefish Grill, wow. You know when you have that old friend that you haven't seen for a long time and both of you are surprised by how much you have changed in life over the years? Well that's the Bonefish Grill. I haven't been there since the early 90s. Back then it was just a small hole in the wall Raw Bar and bar. Used to get $0. 25 oysters On the Half-Shell 50 Cent drafts for happy hour. Let me tell you, they have definitely grown up over the years. They have gotten fancier and the dishes have gotten fancier. Even the wait staff no longer comes around to your table and tank tops and t-shirts. They are all dressed very professionally like actual chefs. The food has changed drastically and is very good and it's a reasonable price. The size of the restaurant itself has also expanded in the decor has changed drastically from a little hole-in-the-wall bar to a mid-range classy restaurant. It is definitely well worth checking out if you haven't been there in a while. While their sign up for their birthday month that most other places also have you got a pretty good discount and coupons from them. I didn't try any of the steaks but the seafood that I had was very good.

Dinner was excellent! Super friendly staff... seriously some of the best service in quite some time. The tuna steak was fantastic and if you like roasted brussel sprouts..theirs are excellent. My dinner companions went on and on about how delicious their steaks were. They had some good deals on happy hour. This is only the second time I've been there in the last 10 years....but I will definitely be returning.

Disappointed. I have to say, the service here is EXCELLENT and the appetizers are also very good as is the corn chowder. But we came here for a multiple family member birthday dinner, and was not impressed. Had the cod, I'm guessing it was frozen? Over cooked and chewy, the stuffing was good. The mashed potatoes tasty and the asparagus was fine. But one son and I both got the cod and both pieces were rubbery. Since it was also the most expensive items on our order, don't feel like I can give more than 3 stars since it was so disappointing.

Hubs and I went for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered the crab cake appetizer, the bang bang shrimp and two orders of fish and chips. The shrimp was amazing. The crab cakes were good, not very firm but still tasty and the dipping sauce that comes with them was delicious. The fish and chips were good, at least the fish was, I didn't eat any of the fries, and I personally didn't care for their tartar sauce. Overall it was good and we will definitely go back.

First time coming to bonefish in a long time. First and foremost, the food was quite good, as was the bread and oil. If only the service was as good. Our server was not very friendly tonight, was difficult to get to keep filling our drinks and did not bring more bread when asked. This won't keep me from going back as I realize everyone has an off night, but it did leave a somewhat sour taste tonight.

Amazing food. Highly suggest getting there early since it is a smaller restaurant, or putting your name down and walk around the shops while waiting! We loved the shrimp & grits, bruchetta, crab dip, tuna, habenaro wings, seafood mac, calamari and the drinks (fishbone ale, bull cider, house sangria) Gerí was awesome!! We came around 6:15 on a Saturday night and we’re told the wait would be 30min. So naturally we just wanted to hang at the bar and have a drink while we waited. We were served by the sweetest woman named Angelica and after some time hanging there we decided to dine in the bar area and we definitely are glad we did! We didn’t feel like we missed out on a dining experience because she was so attentive, professional and a great server. She made our experience very pleasant and we will definitely be coming back !! 10/10 would recommend sitting at the bar if the wait is too long 🙃

I recieved a gift certificate for this place. When looking at the website I wasn't sure if it was an eat in only place, so I called to make sure that I could make a carryout order, and they were very polite on the phone. Then I went in to order, they were very courteous and handed us all the menus that we needed cause we have some people with special dietary needs. The food is a lil expensive, but not terribly so for a nice dine in restaurant. We put in our order, and it was done in about 15/20 minutes. They brought us our food, and we went on our way. Nikki took great care of us through this whole experience. Thanks Nikki!! Also the food was delicious.

My boyfriend & I stopped in here today while taking a weekend vacation to get away from Philly. It was both of our first time at a Bonefish Grill & let me tell you.. We loved every single part about it! The atmosphere was beautiful & relaxing. Our server, Dante, was the most amazing server we have ever had.. and we go out to eat a couple of times a week! He was so genuinely sweet, knowledgeable about the menu with great suggestions, he was on top of refills & checking back, and just made our experience even more perfect than it already was! Now to the food.. the crab cake appetizer was wonderful with REAL crab! My boyfriend had the salmon which he eats weekly and said it was the best he has had yet! Dante had suggested 2 different topping sauces which he brought on the side and loved! My boyfriend, even if he is enjoying his food, he never really says much other than saying it’s good. But he kept saying “wow!!!” Lol!!!! Even about his plain white rice😂 and I had the filet mignon which I have weekly and this was the best I have ever had as well. Absolutely delicious! SOOO flavorful, juicy, tender, and literally just melted in my mouth!!!! I just wanted to thank you & let you know that you’re doing a great job here!!!! Thank you to the cooks and to Dante for making our experience a great one! This will now be our go-to whenever we are here from Philly!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

My girlfriend and I were treated amazingly from the moment we arrived. I had the cod fish and chips amd a bloody mary which was delicious, and she had the rainbow trout, brought out by the chef, and she enjoyed it thoroughly. The macademia nut brownie for dessert was rich and had a great flavor profile. 12/10 definitely will come back in the future.

Bang bang shrimp is where it's at! You have to try it if you're lucky enough get there. We have enjoyed the food & experience everytime. They have great daily specials that always changing, rarely recycled & so delicious. We've been lucky enough to have the same amazing server the last 3 times. She's such an easy going, attentive and professional server. Wish I knew her name...sorry but my wife said she had red hair & possibly glasses in last night too. Last night my wife left her cellphone there, once she realized our server ran it out to her at the door (they were closed). Took a star away for the bad attitudes we got at the door walking in (hostess & other server) at 10:15pm. We weren't greeted by any means, instead felt like we a nuisance bc they emphasized they closed soon.

Not bad, but not impressive. The service was good and friendly, but overall I thought the prices were high for the quality and taste. Some highlights: the house salad dressing was tasty, but the salad itself consisted mostly of romaine lettuce. The salmon was ok, but I could do just as good with minimal effort at home. Finally, the kids' mac and cheese was disappointingly bland. However, I was impressed with the broccoli, which can often be over done, but they cooked it very well.

I always order from Bonefish and it’s always been excellent. Tonight 10/15/2021 I ordered via a delivery service and the order was missing the lobster tail. I called and spoke with the manager and he was so nice about the situation and allowed me to come pick up the lobster tail and added a 2nd tail!! I’m so thankful and what a wonderful surprise for my solo graduation celebration dinner! I really appreciate the staff here and will always highly recommend this company!

Food was delicious and service was great but portion size was really small compared to other places. $21.99 for shrimp and scallops: 5 tiny shrimp and 4 very small scallops. I actually ordered more bread because I was still hungry after my meal. Looking at a picture of a review of this same meal and they had twice as much it seemed. Husbands steak was also pretty small compared to outback/butchers son/etc. just expected a little more from a chain. It was delicious though but left hungry.

Wasn't as good as before. They changed their menu and very little seafood other than some fish and only fried. Love steamed or broiled seafood and none to be found except a skewer which was expensive at $23. Prices gone up too and now no potatoes au gratin which I liked. Food is pretty good but not a fried seafood lover which is not as healthy!! Bring back pick your steamed (or fried) combo plates, crab of dome sort too!!!! Crab soup too thick and not as good too. Sorry..had liked this place even if we had to drive a good ways to get there. And can they include a salad as a side at those prices?!!

We randomly found this restaurant from a google search but can’t say enough good things. We ordered the imperial dip, shrimp tacos, and crab cakes and steak. Everything down to the fries and coleslaw was incredible. The server, Dante, was fabulous as well. This is easily the best meal we’ve had since getting to Virginia Beach and we ate at Orion’s Rooftop but this place has their food beat by a mile. Will definitely come back and would recommend!

Bonefish, bonefish ... hard to say. Sometimes I go there and it's like a glorified Applebee's but other times I go there and it's amazing. Tonight was one of the former, unfortunately. Cocktails were nice, 1 entree was nice, but the other, a special, was boring and bland. Their standard sides lack any imagination at all. So...I don't know. If I'm going out for a nice dinner, I don't want it to be a coin flip. I should note that service there has never been a problem. If you go, it could be great, but I need some consistency before I make it a mainstay

It was our first time there, we had a wonderful waitress named Kayla who gave us details of the popular dishes. We started with an appetizer Bang Bang shrimp, it's slightly spicy and very good. We were served fresh bread with pesto before our meals. Three of us ordered dinner dishes that are served with 2 sides; we picked Cod Imperial with garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned veggies , Shrimp & Scallops with seasonal veggies and coleslaw, Salmon with coleslaw and garlic mashed potatoes. We rated them all very good, tender juicy salmon, perfectly cooked shrimp, and the Cod Imperial was the best. The restaurant had a relaxed setting with overhead dim recessed lighting, white table cloths and low volume adult contemporary music. We went on Father's day, overall it was a pleasure to dine at.

I have never had a bad experience at Bonefish grill. Food and service has always been exceptional. Weeks ago my family and I dined at Bonefish and Dante as our server. I cannot begin to tell you the way over and beyond fantastic service we received. He is wonderful at what he does and even remembered I liked my sauce on the side as we dined in a few weeks after that. I'm a foodie that does research on food and reviews. This place and the staff will not disappoint.

Nice atmosphere and very clean.. The food was really good and worth the price. Nice and friendly staff. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was yummy and well recommended. The bread that they serve you with the olive oil dipping sauce was delicious. The meal that I ordered was the Cod Imperial that had shrimp and lump crabmeat with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top was tasty and very flavorful. Nice selections on wines and alcohol.

Very laid back, clean and classy atmosphere. It's not noisy and hectic. Qe were able to make reservations ahead of time. The food is absolutely delicious. Although they were a little short handed with staff, the customer service and food was amazing. Their location is awesome due to having ease of parking and entry to the restaurant. 2 servers were training 2 new servers, one of which, was ours. So, understandably, the service was pretty slow. There were other tables being sat after us that got their food before we did. I ordered the Thermador Gnocchi and it was supposed to have lobster in it. It did, but only 1 piece about the size of my thumb and another sliver. 1st cup of coffee was not hot. With all that said, the service staff was very polite and friendly, the food tasted great and was hot, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We are from way out of state, so we may not ever return, but would be willing to give it another try if we were locals.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted by the manager at the door and he congratulated us. After drinks at the bar our table was ready. We both had the 3 course lobster dinner and it was delicious. Our server Dante was fabulous and constantly checked on us to be sure we were pleased with the food and to see if we were in need of anything. The manager stopped by and chatted for a few minutes and gave us some truffles to take home. During dessert we were presented with the check, which had an incredible discount applied. Overall this was our best anniversary dinner ever. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely return again and again.

Really nice the Bang Bang shrimp which is an appetizer was really awesome always is. But my only problem I truly have is with side... really not that many to choose from and they could stand just a bit more seasoning. I love flavor and really like welled seasoned food but a little more spice and a little more pinch would be awesome! The staff is what is really phenomenal! I think we go there for the happy hour and the excellent service. I will go back again to try another dish. I had the crab cake and sirloin steak it was good but not great. Bang bang shrimp was good, crab cake....I've had better, the seasoning on lobster was delicious, a hint of sweetness to it. Steak was cooked right, tasted great with table salt and pepper. Great service by Madison, good food and exactly as described, but I know now that bang bang sauce is too spicy for me. Corn chowder had a kick, too. I ate a lot of the nice warm bread to offset the spice. That's just me. Very quiet on a Friday around 8 pm. A lot of older couples. Didn't need the reservation. Plenty of open tables. Superb warm coconut custard pie w rum sauce. Superb. Decaf a little bitter. $95 before tip 2entrees, 2beers,1mixed drink, coffee, pie. Used my $20 birthday certificate that came in the mail, and a gift card to lower it, so left a tip on above the full amount. Great service!

My parents were here from Nevada and they wanted seafood. The flavor of the food was great...the signature Bang Bang shrimp has earned its reputation. The price was a much higher than I had thought it would be- the portions waaay smaller than expected. I had the $30.00 filet and lobster tail, I've never had a lobster tail that small. I also thought it was odd that they don't offer pina colada. I believe next time we'll explore a different location.

So sad they did away with the garlic Gorgonzola butter they used to put on steaks. With there were a bit more variety with the seasonal veggies, had green beans or spinach last time. 4 stars mostly for the overall atmosphere. Food I feel is made for an older age group. Been a few years since I had been, but I definitely noticed some of their flavors were not as bold. In addition, was disappointed with their service size. A $20 gnocchi dish literally had 10 pieces of gnocchi. Flavor was decent. But not anything I'll remember. A little disappointed they offered the easy-to-make and very inexpensive gnocchi, but did not seek out an individual who not only makes it from scratch, but actually started selling his homemade pasta in the local stores. Works and lives right down the street. But eh. Service was great though. After not being there for so long, I realized the age group of my surroundings, and realized it probably works about perfect for them. Overall, good job, but I'll be waiting until it's someone else's idea, to return.

We ordered curbside for a Saturday night at home meal. I had the sirloin with crab imperial on top, crab cake with veggie and garlic whipped potatoes. My date had the Rockefeller Butterfish with the same sides. The sirloin was very good but the crab imperial and crab cake were amazing! As was the Butterfish. My wife and I had a great first time experience. Our Server, Ryan, did a great job! Always good! Husband likes the Salmon & I love the Lily’s Chicken. Only complaint is the host led us to a table, upon seeing many booths were open I asked if we could be seated there because I was pregnant and the booth cushions are more comfortable than wooden chairs. He told us no because there were only two of us although there were several other couples in booths. We sat & ate anyway but I found that to be pretty rude.

My husband ordered the waygu beef 1/2 pound burger. Recommended by our waitress. It was only 1/2 pound bc of all the condiments on it, I ordered the crab cake and 6 oz sirloin. The crab cake was good but it was the size of a half dollar. Very small. The steak was small but it was a 6 oz, the sides are huge portions, the desert was the best thing I got. Will not be back, just because price vs quality was not great to me and my hubby

The servers are always polite and friendly. Even they were busy they would stop to make sure everything was good. The food was good. Hard to go wrong with the grilled salmon superfood salad. It's on point every time. However; don't take your eye off of your appetizer when your meal comes (very soon thereafter) if you haven't finished it, or care to. The people delivering the plates tried to remove the appetizer, to which we replied, "We are not finished with that". I set it to the side so there would be room for them to set the dinner plate. Don't you know as soon as I turned my head one of them took away the appetizer anyway? That's bad business. The young lady that was assigned to be server was polite and attentive without being overbearing, so kudos to her. The receipt indicates, Amanda M., so if she serves you, it should not be a disappointment. Curious as to why there is never salt and pepper at the community tables in the bar section, since it is always at the tables along the wall ???

The creme bruelle French toast is amazing!! Probably the best French toast I have ever had. Also the fish and chips is very delicious!! The batter it is dipped in is very light and crispy & mouth watering. The customer service was incredible as usual & the wait time wasn't bad either. Our waitress, Paige, was extremely polite and made sure all our food came out precisely when we needed it. She waited to put our entrees on order until we were about halfway done with our appetizers. Many places don't do that. Everything was timed perfectly. I ordered a martini and it was made to perfection. I have never been disappointed with any of my visits to any Bonefish Grills and this one was no exception. This was my second visit to this location and I am already making plans to go again with the next couple of weeks. Niko waited on us the first time I went to this Bonefish Grill (a couple months ago) and he was excellent. Paige was great as well. I would love to have either of them wait on me again!

This Bonefish Grill is fanatic! I'll start by saying how amazing the food it. It's always fresh, they make the gnocchi fresh for the Thermador Gnocchi. They make all of their sauces fresh, as well as most of their other food. So it's always tasty and always made fresh to order! The Thermador Gnocchi is great, the Saucy Shrimps just as good! The servers are awesome! They're always so happy to see you and are very friendly. They're great people and the service is always wonderful. Bonefish Grill is one of the best seafood restaurants I've been to in the area. So, if you're looking for a good seafood spot, check them out!

Fantastic service! Must try the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer, it's big enough for two! Great menu selections. Wife had the lobster stuffed shrimp which she really enjoyed. I had the ribeye steak with a side of the crab fried rice which were both excellent. Classy atmosphere even though it's a chain restaurant. Good beer and wine selections and they have happy hour drink specials. Highly recommend!

Came in during Restaurant Week. The wait was long for many, but we had a reservation and was seated within 5 minutes. The seating was horrid. We were packed in pretty tight. My seat or my body was bumped every few minutes. Our server was great. Ordered the calamri for appetizer. It was really good. I got the special. It was boring, at best. The Caesar salad was WaWa quality. The main course, the sea bass, very rubbery. The rice had a dry crust that was obviously dry from sitting under a heat lamp for too long and the spinach was a boiled mess and unseasoned. Unable to stand further disappointment, I elected not to even try the desert.

Bonefish never disappoints. It's my favorite chain restaurant! They have a lot of healthy food options if that's what you're looking for. It's a great place to accommodate a family that has seafood lovers or even chicken lovers. Tuesday night they have a great special (salad, dinner and dessert between $15-22) and you can add bang bang shrimp for $6. Happy hour is until 6:30pm. And the service has always been great! I can't say enough good things about this place!

He answered all of our questions, and was incredibly passionate/knowledgeable with the menu. This was our first visit and certainly not the last! We ordered the mixed grille for two, and we were treated to a shrimp appetizer(bang bang shrimp was worth the trip all by itself!) Salads, and an assortment of grilled salmon, seared tuna, grilled shrimp and filet mignon. Wonderful experience all around.

Had crabcakes...very very breaded ..service was ok...manager that was on duty was a bit rude because we came in with 10 people and did not have a reservation, it's best to have a reservation with that many people and normally we would however in the last minutes our party grew from 5 to 10. We did not think this would be a problem considering it was only 540 pm on a Tuesday evening and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, in fact it stayed rather slow the entire time we were there,from 540 to 745. Although it may have been an imposition to the staff the manager should never make it seem so in front of the guest.

We usually have the Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer and something to drink but I wasn't that hungry. The Bang Bang Shrimp is always excellent though. My husband had the stuffed sole and I just had a add on lobster tail. Half of my lobster tail was undercooked but they made it right and I was happy. The sole had crab imperial and shrimp inside and it was stuffed and my husband enjoyed it very much. I had a split of champagne and we had a nice conversation with Taz the server. We stopped here in the way home from on ODU b-ball game last Sunday. We sat at the bar and had a glass of the house Cab. It was very good but they have a nice selection if you want to try something else. I had the ahi tuna cooked rare and it was delicious and delicious. Here’s an honest review!!! i was disappointed. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and shrimp dinner. I had spinach and french fries as my sids. When it came to taste let’s just say it wasn’t up to part with the presentation of the food. If a sprinkle of Jesus couldn’t save it (salt and pepper) then i don’t know what will. The best thing from the dinner was the french fries and shrimp. The spinach im pretty sure came out of a can and the sauces they had specifically the lemon butter was... ummm let’s say don’t get it!! Customer service was great though!

A breath-taking experience! This place is like semi-fine dining where they bring you your courses gradually (you have time to enjoy each course rather than being shuffled through each one). The atmosphere is cozy with plenty of table space/room so you don't feel overcrowded. The decor is high end and lends to the food. Yesterday on June 12th around 6pm, my boyfriend and I stopped in for a dinner date. Our waitor's name was Zachary, I believe. We had excellent service. I have visited Bonefish Grill on many occasions. Today was by far the most disappointing visit ever!! The Josephine mussels were old and tasteless..the bartender made excellent drinks but we sat at the bar I had to wave for her to get another drink. Our bar tab was more then our meal and would have been higher with the group we were with. I can't remember the last time I wrote a negative review so this should tell you Bonefish Virginia Beach get your act together or I won't be back!!

Bang bang shrimp #dabomb lol my my dad had Tuna steak my mom had cold water lobster trail . The hubby had some shrimp dish it was okay. My husband ordered his chili sauce on side because he can't really eat to much Spicy stuff and it came on the food. To start things off my water glass had a bit of a strange odor which gave the impression it may not have been thoroughly washed. Ordered the bang bang shrimp for my meal and added an order of the potato au gratin. Had to send the shrimp back due to being over cooked, but came out just right the second time. Finished with the creme brulee for desert which was delicious as always and the highlight of the night.

Scenery was great! I am always a fan of dimmed lights and soft music. The desert i ordered was the bannana foster which was ok, the desert did take a while and the manager came by and apologized for the time and gave us the desert for free which was very considerate. I would suggest this place for couples and/or a small group of friends, overall a great experience for a simple and relaxed saturday evening dinner!! 9 out of 10 in my book and will come back again!

Not worth the price that you pay for the meal and the portion sizes are decently small. It is a nice atmosphere inside and the wait staff was very friendly. Doesn't outweigh the cost and feeling pretty unsatisfied for the price that you paid for your meal.

I love fish. Bonefish Grill always satisfies. Their "signature" appetizer is "bang bang shrimp". It's worth the trip just to have this. Yum. They also make very Smoove espresso martinis.

This place is bigger than it looks like from the outside so it is good for either small or big groups. We had a Crispy Cod Sliders and a Wagyu Beef Sliders and a fruity cocktail for starter; the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Shrimp Caprese Dip for share; 2 pieces of Fresh Dayboat Scallops Elote with a glass of white wine and the Sea bass with mango salsa with a glass of red wine; and the Macadamia Nut Brownie (I know, that's A LOT). The sliders are wonderful, I can imagine having a standard of them for a meal. The meat of the Wagyu one is very tender and I would say it was made medium, which most people prefer. The cod one is very crunchy and flavorful. The sauce is a bit spicy or maybe too spicy for somebody so beware or that. The Bang Bang Shrimp is crunchy and hot and full of flavor. I'm not a big fan of the sauce because it's sweet but I heard many of my friends said they love their Bang Bang Shrimp so probably it's just my personal flavor is different. The Shrimp Caprese Dip is my favorite dish overall. It acutally taste like fondue with shrimp and tomatoes. The bread is soft and it is perfect to dip the cheese. The Fresh Dayboat Scallops Elote is 50/50. The scallops are tendered and delicious but the corn and sauce underneath the scallops are too spicy and the sauce is just weird. We asked the chef what was it made with and it was a list so I can't tell you all the ingredients but there are peppers and matcha. The Sea bass with Mango Salsa, first of all, it's Sea Bass, you don't even have to put a thing on it and girll it and it will still taste marvelous. So did the Mango Salsa ruin this flavorful protein? NOT AT ALL! The chef did a really good job on making the salsa as less complex as a salsa could be to keep the original taste of the sea bass. With some mashed potato under the sea bass, this dish is just prefect! The Macadamia Nut Brownie is warm and delicious, and everybody on my table loved it. I prefer very rich dark chocolate so it's too sweet for me but people who has a sweet tooth will love this brownie. It also comes with a vanilla ice cream so it's like you're having a bite of this warm brownie and at the same time you're having some cold ice cream. The staff are very friendly and helpful, both the chefs and the servers are very informative and introduced all the dishes for us, I will definitely come back with my family and friends and try something else!
