An enjoyable spot to relax with your self , family or significant other.. The atmosphere was very tranquil I especially like the natural surroundings & fresh plants around the restaurant. Outside dining was available, however it was a bit chilly outside. Food was amazing! Presentation of everything was gorgeous. Definitely would recommend & return. I’m not giving 5 ⭐️ because of the server constantly letting us know her manager as she put it “ is watching our table time?” Rather this was true or not the last time she stopped by I simply stated, “ok, we get it.” She whipped back around as if she didn’t hear me & had a bit of sarcasm when she replied back.. I hadn’t even finished my second drink yet.. Please be aware of what time you sit . They clocking your time. Not cool..

This place is amazing. The food was so flavorful just perfectly seasoned. The service was quick, the food was hot. Our server and other hosts were super attentive and friendly. Shout out to Chris he was an amazing server. The portion sizes were way more than expected, and they got ate up. The atmosphere was super chill. The music was perfect. Most definitely will visit again.

When I say the food was good, it was so good. The shrimp can be considered over seasoned to others but for me it was perfect. The drinks were strong, which I would have enjoyed if I didn't have to drive home. I would most definitely return. My waitress was amazing. I came at 10 pm for a little alone time and I love it.

Celebrated with friends on a Monday evening - 7 in total with 3 being kids. Wait time was less than 5 min to be seated. The food was amazing and portions were larger than expected. Mahi Tacos pictured. Waitstaff left something to be desired. We only ordered in groups, never one off things, we barely saw our waitress and she kept forgetting things that we had ordered or asked for. Overall a good experience and we will be back again.

All in all a nice experience. Have previously experienced that Bahama Breeze has been a bit tasteless and boring food, but am tempted to try again based on this visit. As a starter I had Cuban Black Bean Soup This one was not entirely to my liking. Becomes a bit like a large portion of spicy baby food. Tequila Sunburn Glazed Salmon Was a good piece of salmon and the taste was reasonably ok. But perhaps expect a bit more kick based on the name of the dish.

We visited on Jan 1st for lunch just after they opened for the day. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was awesome. Very patient with our ordering since this was our first time. Our appetizer was coconut shrimp, very tasty. We ordered the main. Our son asked for his steak medium rare. He has a medical issue with this esophagus(no further expaination) the waitress waited for him to make sure it was cooked proper... It was actually medium. She was the sweetest and took it back. She brought out a new plate and it was perfect for him! So lots of thanks to the person who made sure his steak was spot on. My husband had the seafood paella and I had the grilled chicken. All three were fantastic. Highly Reccomend! Thanks to all who made 2023 start out right

While my husband and I were at Virginia Beach, we discovered this place. We had such a nice time we ended up going twice. The restaurant is open really late, 1 am. But it didn't get rowdy, it had a nice ambience. There was even someone playing steel drums. Great food. Really wish we had this place where we live.

Me and my wife came for appetizers and ordered coconut shrimp, firecracker shrimp, and spinach dip. When the firecracker shrimp came out, we thought the whole bowl was filled but it was shrimp on a bed of tortilla strips. The shrimp was good and they only drizzle sauce on it. If you wanted more, they do include some more to dip in. The coconut shrimp has a nice crunch to them and the sauce goes really well with them. The spinach dip is really creamy and delicious. Our waitress Cece was really nice. We asked if there was an entrance to the mall from the restaurant but she said there wasn't. She also let us know about the plans for the mall which was nice of her. She told us about another mall to visit, too. The atmosphere of the place is really comforting. They're playing music but it's not so loud where you can't talk to someone across the table. It's also decorated nicely. Some places blast you with tropical decor but this place has just the right amount.

Sweet Jesus, if you get the pineapple sauce that comes with the beef empanadas...thank me later. Food was superb, our waitress Sierra was awesome, overall experience was out of this world! And I've been to ALOT of Bahamas Breezes!

This is usually a place I love to stop at whenever I'm traveling. I usually get jerk chicken but decided to get something different so I ordered the top sirloin steak with coconut shrimp and yellow rice and beans with string beans. The steak melted in my mouth!!! The shrimp were just ok and the rice and beans weren't all that great (no seasoning). I was a little disappointed at my husband's drink which came in a very small glass, but it was good. He didn't like his top sirloin steak and the waitress was nice enough to change it for salmon which he enjoyed. Waitress very friendly and the decor is really nice.

This was my first time there. Wasn’t impressed. Grilled shrimp too salty. Chicken sandwich was garbage. Seafood chowder was excellent! I put salty shrimp in my chowder and it was great!! Drinks were excellent! Wonderful waitress! Nice ambience and clean too. Staff were ALL friendly.

My Ultimate pina colada had a splash of strawberry & a pineapple garnish that started dinner off so good! My friend enjoyed the Blue Moon on tap. We got the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer & the plantain chips that came with the regular tortilla chips, were AWESOME. The Pineapple jerk chicken bowl & the plantain bowl were both so flavorful & plated stunningly! I must have taken 20 photos it was so pretty. Then we got to eat! Urgh...so full we shared both dishes & had leftovers for 2 more lunches. We got the pineapple cheesecake empanadas to go, which was sad they lost their crisp but if we didn't fill up on such amazing drinks & dinner we would have had more room. I'll definitely be stopping in here anytime I am near one!

Went to celebrate my birthday. Made reservations through Open Table and did have to wait approximately 15 mins aft the reservation time but honestly 15 mins is better than 30. Food was delicious and the coconut mojito was one of the best I've had.

Relaxing atmosphere, good service, and the food was delicious. Anything jerk chicken is great and recommended. Chose the seafood paella, which was a great choice for me. Scary story time: My drink went flying off the table for no reason at all, scared me a bit, and the workers told stories of stuff happening like that all the time, if one believes in that sort of thing. Wouldn’t believe it if it didn’t happen right in front of my face. Spooky!

In town visiting the area for training and wanted something easy. Bahama Breeze was already near the hotel and shopping centers to make life pretty easy. They had plenty of outside covered seating and indoor options. A large double sided indoor outdoor bar. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. Group favorites would be any of the signature island drinks, the Jamaican jerk chicken, the seafood paella, and top sirloin. Easy quick and well done food. Cheers!!

Last minute date night 1 hour before closing and the service was great and drinks were delicious and the food was amazing. I had the plantain bowl and black beans and surprisingly everything was amazing even that late in the evening!

Had the crab dip appetizer, which was ok. Entrees were Jerk Shrimp Pasta and the Lobster and Shrimp Linguine. I was in a pasta mood and the linguine was very satisfying. The jerk pasta was ok....it was missing something or needed more jerk. Drinks were fine but a little light. I'd try it again but not in a rush to go back.

Came in for lunch! Not as busy on the day I went. Restaurant is very clean! Good and drink came out perfect! Also my waitress very friendly and let me know about their menu being that it’s my first time here! If you would love a nice waitress who is knowledgeable and knows the menu fully ask for Sharnette, she will not disappoint! Amazing!

We went to this restaurant with my son's soccer team... probably around 30-40 kids and adults all together. The initial reservation was made individually but of course we all wanted to sit together which was a challenge for the restaurant staff, but they did not panic and handled the situation with the right ATTITUDE! Kudos to the hostesses and the management! Food and drink were delicious as well but it's their attitude that made it that much tastier. Keep up the good work guys!

Dinner and drinks with a friend. The salmon and mashed sweet potatoes were really good. I also got a moscato sangria...it was ok. Server was nice and attentive. There was an argument at the front between one of the customers and either a server or another customer that was very heated and loud but other than that everything else was fine. I ate my food before remembering to take a pic... but that should be a good indicator of the taste 🙂 My friend got the beef empanadas and a burger. That he enjoyed.

Went to dinner w my bff and her son, we had a wonderful time and the food was actually better than I expected. I had the jerk chicken pasta (w the asparagus & mushrooms incl) which was wonderful. She had the coconut shrimp tacos, which was the reason we ate there. She'd been there before and loved them. We both had a margarita, super delicious and you could really taste the tequila 😋. I also stole a bunch of her fries, they were SO good! Dining area was lit well, server was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely eat there again.

I've eaten here twice. The first time wasn't the best experience. I ordered the Seafood Paella and didn't like it and the waitress had bad customer service skills. But the second time was GREAT!! The waiter was excellent (I'm mad I can't think of that young man's name right now). I ordered the Jamaican Stuffed Plantain Bowl and it was extremely delicious!!! I'm definitely a fan!!!

Five stars for the atmosphere and service. Our waiter was top-notch. However, their menu is extremely limited. I ordered the butterfly shrimp and it wasn't that appetizing. The dish was basic and I would not recommend it. For a restaurant that is named after a Caribbean island, the food is very American. Be that as it may, I would definitely return for the drinks and appetizers. The ambiance is great and that was more than enough to get me to come back.

I went there today for a lunch with my husband.We decided to dine outside and enjoy the weather.The gentleman taking care of us who's name was Chris C was absolutely incredible He was very attentive and helped us with our drink choices. The food was impeccable and such large portions which we enjoyed.Our drinks were delicious and the restaurant and restrooms were so clean and the rest of the staff were so helpful and pleasant. All in All A must go to. Took my lady for dinner. I had top sirloin with mash potatoes and broccoli and fried shrimp, delicious it was. Very nicely cooked and seasoned. She had grilled salmon with green beans a d mix vegetables. Happy hour 4-6 😊🍹🍸

A friend and I went here to relax. The atmosphere is really nice and our server, Kat, was good. We sat outside on the heated patio which is a HUGE plus for people like me who are cold natured but love nature. He and I chose this spot because we just wanted drinks and an appetizer. We had one drink each, 3 shots of Petron and 6 wings and it wasn't the best value for what we paid. I am not sure why but I was able to drink a lot more than what I can normally tolerate. This spot is not far from my house and although it's a great atmosphere, it's not a place that I would make my regular go-to spot. Of course, I'm a foodie and look for certain things in particular. This is my opinion only.

The food was good. I was disappointed on a few things. My group was not seated properly... It would have been nice if everything was explained to me when I made the reservation for my birthday get together. Two circular tables were put out to seat us, then we were put in a long booth... This was disappointing because it didn't make for a good time because we really couldn't converse the way we would have if it was two square tables or long tables... While I may eat here again, I will not bring another group get together here...

The 'Virgin Pina Colada' is an excellent drink option. Good customer service. Laid back & relaxed atmosphere. Please, warn guests that the plates are hot when you bring out the order/meal. I almost burned my hand.

This place delivers every time and is a regular for my wife and I with our friends. The drinks are superb and the food is good too. I would say that the music out on the deck is a little bit too loud if you were sitting beside the stage but all in all can’t complain too much as it was a good experience as it usually is.

This is the 2nd location that we have tried but my favorite. Ample food and it was delicious. We had the jerk chicken pineapple bowl, spinach dip and black bean soup. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great service and ambiance, however, our food was alright. Nothing much to rave about tbh. My husband had the jerk wings which wasn’t a wow factor and neither was my shrimp and lobster pasta. My dish was way too salty and I would not order that again. Our appetizer was very delicious, we had the empanadas ! So good! We might be back again to try something else on the menu. Overall, not bad of an experience but our food choice could be better.

My food was delicious. I had the salmon and yellow rice with plantains cooked well for me. For a Friday night their were plenty of patrons. It was a great stop before the KevOnStage 10p showing at the Funnt Bone across the street by The Cheesecake Factory. I also had a nicely crafted King Carnival drink from the bar...yummy. I didn't want too much to eat and the Salmon meal was just enough.

Love, love, love the food at Bahama Breeze. It's one of our go-to date nights. I love the Caribbean and this place is closer to home. LOL The food is always good and they succeed well at accommodating my many food allergies.

One of the best restaurant's I've been to. The food was Perfectly seasoned, The Presentation was beautiful. The drinks were beautiful and very delicious. Our waiter a Young gentleman was very attentive, courteous and helpful. The manager came out and greeted us to make sure all was well. The ambiance of the place was wonderful and well designed and decorated. I will definitely go back when I go back to Philadelphia. Wish they had one here in my part of Florida.

I've been here yesterday to have my 20th birthday dinner. I had their Grilled Chicken with Cilantro-Crema. The dish is basically, well, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and a side of Cilantro-Crema sauce. The dish was superb. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I haven't been in awhile because the last time I went it wasn't good I had a gift card and I figured I'll give it another try It was a 45 minute wait what wasn't bad since they will text you when your table is ready our server was nice and I like that she was able to provide recommendations the menu was limited but I was able to find something I started off with spinach dip then i ordered the Caribbean chicken and shrimp bowl it was good and flavorful and I also had a Bahamas Rita everything was surprisingly good I'll consider coming back

Hit or miss type of place, but it has a great happy hour. Waitress said we could order another drink while we still had one on the table just to say “good thing you have a waitress that has patience” Okay, and?? Kind of ruined the joys of happy hour.

Such good food and seating usually happens faster than they claim upon arrival. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp! It's up there with the best I've ever had. Bathrooms are clean and orderly and the lighting is low and not intrusive. Also the bar is adorable with its in an outdoor seating! Fulfilling and delightful!

First time in and I love this place! There's a great Caribbean vibe when you enter brought on by the colors, decorations and music. The drinks are crazy good! They have your traditional rum drinks but also have unique concoctions that remind me of a sunset on a Jamaican beach. I had a Titos Strawberry Breeze which was not too sweet and bursting with strawbeeey flavor followed by a King Carnival with Hennessey that was an unexpected delight! For entrees I had the Tequila Sunburn Glazed Salmon and the flavors exceeded all expectations! The mango salsa on top perfectly complimented the glaze. It came with mashed cinnamon sweet potatoes that were worth every carb amd perfectly cooked green beans. Our bartender/server Shantelle was excellent. She made us feel like we were old friends and that's a rare quality in today's service industry. She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Overall, start to finish it was a wonderful experience and we will be back next time we're in town!

I absolutey recommend this establishment for great drinks and excellent food! The server was amazing and attentive especially with it being 5 of us. We went for lunch the atmosphere was wonderful and soothing. They have a very large menu, which I usually frown upon but everything we ordered was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The drinks are made with specialty and absolutely yummy! This place is fun, energetic, and will offer service above and beyond! This is a must visit! Check them out!

As always this is a great restaurant with a really GREAT atmosphere! Outside balcony u can take advantage of year round due to them having it covered bar area in the rite place incase your having one of those days .... You can't not want to dine here!! The bonus is the live music (when we get past this covid situation) but lastnite the had the carribean music playing i thought it was someone actually singing ...thats how clear it was ☺ Definitely a fave for me its just the drive but i gladly don't mind when im in the mood.

Felt so good to be back out eating at a restaurant. Thank you for being the example and leading the way back to normal! It's very refreshing to be greeted outside the premises and have someone open the door for you. This is how an establishment should be operated. Coming from Jacksonville, FL now living in HR I know BB very well. I was ecstatic to see the same high quality service I'm used to down south. Everyone here is happy to be at work and very attentive to their guests. I looked around the other tables and no one had a complaint or had to wait on anything. All servers were constantly checking in on the guests even after we received our food. The SKILLET-SIMMERED JERK SHRIMP needs to be entered in a national competition! This is what I expect of a restaurant chain. Same high quality food and service no matter the state. Arrielle is a fabulous Server!!

It was my 60th Birthday ,, my 1st time eating here I was very pleased My son ,,,daughter,, daughter-in-law and my granddaughter all loved the food The above mentioned besides my granddaughter had eaten here several times before ,We went at happy hour and enjoyed appetizers which were tostones with chicken ,empananadas,coconut shrimp, crab avacodo stack and spinach ,artichoke dip with tortillas all of which were absolutely delicious My favorite was the Spinach,artichoke dip I enjoyed that the most and dipped my crab in it. Sunday Evening. Appetizer. Goat cheese dip was gritty, tart and excessively oily. But the chips were spot on. 48 min wait for entree, after server took up the plate for appetizer. Not crowded either. But she kept us smiling. Grilled salmon with sweet potatoes and green beans were good. Worth the wait. Stuffed plaintain with black beans and ground beef with white rice was interesting and surprisingly filling. Dessert banana nut bread with whipped cream and ice cream. 1 whole banana, split in half soaking in a pool of caramel and whipped cream sauce. Presentation was lazy. Overwhelmed with vanilla but it was decent. 3.6

Not pleased... my first and second visit was ok and satisfying... my last visit however not so much.... the firecracker shrimp were popcorn shrimp and the turkey on the Cuban tasted a little old... the fries weren’t fresh the spinach dip had a strong lime flavor and the seafood paella was a little skimpy compared to my last two visits but it was still good and the ribs were good as well... never again... this was my niece 18th Birthday and I’m disappointed with myself for taking her, her date and my family here to celebrate.

Bahama Breeze is one of my favorite places to go to in Virginia Beach. It's especially beautiful in the warmer weather. They have an outdoor seating section right next to the bar. During the summer when the weather is nicer they will often have live music being played out there, like people playing steel drums. As for today the weather was cold and rainy so I stayed inside. Inside is very spacious and upscale looking. They had a special for national margarita day and I didn't even realize they have a really good happy hour. Service is always fast and friendly. Make sure you try the empanadas! They were so good that I ate one before I remembered to take my picture.

We came here because we were given a gift card from my stepdaughter and her husband...From the customer service to the food was AMAZING!!! When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted right away and was brought to our table...we even made jokes with them about wanting the best waitress/waiter! I ordered the mahi shrimp bowl and told our waitress "no mushrooms"...A few mins later, the manager came to our table and told me that the food I ordered, the mushrooms are already mixed into the sauce ahead of time..I told him"that's fine, I'll just pick it out"....when I received my order, there were no mushrooms in my big bowl of mahi shrimp, the cook removed all of it or he cooked a new one for me, either way, there wasn't a single mushroom in my bowl...Yay! My husband ordered ribs and I mean, it was the biggest, thickest beef ribs I've seen in a long time! My daughter ordered steak which was also very big...forgot to mention that we ordered spinach dip & lobster and shrimp quesadilla for our appetizers...everything we ordered was sooo good...from the appetizers, drinks, entrees to the dessert! We haven't been to this restaurant in a few years, seems like it has gotten much much better....we will definitely be returning!

My experience is always great here. Unfortunately, they were short staffed last night (on a Memorial Day weekend) and they were busy, so the wait times for our orders were delayed a bit. However, the staff seemed as if they were keeping a level head and remained friendly and did the best that they could under the circumstances. The food was amazing (as usual) and our drinks were great too. I recommend the jerk chicken pasta and any drink on the menu.

We had Citrus Mustard, Spicy BBQ wings, and the coconut shrimp as appetizers for our table. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. I won't be ordering it again. The chicken, the black bean salsa and the makes potatoes were good. I'm not a lemon butter person so it wasn't a dish for me. I'm go back to my regular dish which is the her chicken pasta. Its amazing! One of my friends had the jerk shrimp pasta and the other had the jerk chicken dinner. They both loved their dinners. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was our first time visiting. Glad I kept my expectations low. You should too. Our server took our beverage orders and then forgot 3 of the beverages and we had to remind him 10 minutes after he brought the drinks. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and our server never put out plates or utensils or napkins. He ended up bringing the plates and utensils 15 minutes later and we had already eaten all the appetizers. I actually went to the restroom and brought out paper towels from there. We requested a few refills on some of the drinks. 15 minutes goes by and he still hadn't brought the drinks. We ask again to remind him and then he goes and gets them and brings them back. He was either new or just pre-occupied or I dunno. He asked us a few times while we were finally eating our dinner, "is there anything else I missed or forgot?" Umm.... So yeah, keep your expectations low. 3 stars for the food. It was good. But the experience soured it for us.

The food was fine, the biggest problem was the service. The staff are decent when dealing with you directly but are far too relaxed for a service industry. At one point I was sitting with an empty drink cup for over 10 minutes, walk inside and the waitress is just chatting it up with the hostess! It was empty at the time I was only 1 of her 2 tables. The other waitresses I witnessed had the same demeanor.

Went here for a farewell luncheon for a coworker. It was my first time here, and the lunch crowd was surprisingly small. Ambience was relaxing, and the staff were friendly. Menu options were varied but few, which I’m personally thankful for. Opted to start with the beef empanadas for an appetizer and the BBQ black bean burger for the main course. Our server, Bri, was an absolute wizard with our orders. For a party of nine, I’d have expected her to be jotting down our orders. She didn’t, nor did she miss a beat with any of the details. Wait time was great, and we had our orders within twenty minutes or so. Appetizers and entrees were very well staggered. All in all, great restaurant with great food for the price.

Probably one of the worst Bahama Breeze’s we’ve been to - the only up side was avoiding the wait by roaming reservations. There was a 45-60 minute wait that we were able to skip. They were busy but our order was wrong and not the best we’ve had also we didn’t get any acknowledgement for the birthday we were celebrating. Our server was however really nice.

Visited on an evening when Happy Hour means 50% off appetizers (except for the Jamacian Jerk Wings which are only $4 off). The Beef Empanadas, Coconut Shrimp, Buffalo Wings and the Jamacian Jerk Wings filled both the table, as well as our bellies. Enough to take away (which we gladly did), the wings were meaty, the shrimp were crispy (and fortunately not overly coconut flavored). Will definitely visit again and this time try some of the entrees. The service could have been slightly better because the water glasses sat empty for up to 10 minutes, but the restaurant was nearing capacity, so that is to be overlooked.

Went in with my family for dinner, they dropped our food and the manager came to tell us immediately and was super nice. Our waitress Izzy was super sweet and went above and behind to find some crayons and paper for our daughter to color. She even came back later to see what she drew. I want to start with the positives, atmosphere Wonder from Decor to music. The food was amazing extremely favorable and portion size was perfect. The serve however has to be the worse I ever experienced at a restaurant of this quality. From the hostess not wanting to save me a table until I could get someone from the car that was in a wheelchair. (I wanted to make sure there was a table available before I got them out of the car).Took a long time to get our food but what topped it off was when our food came I asked for a spoon for the disabled person that was in our party and the rest of the table was almost done eating when he finally got his spoon. That was after I hit the call server button and ask another waiteds for a spoon. As soon as they brought the spoon they wanted to bring boxes without even giving him a chance to eat. Not sure if the food is good enough to deal with the incompetent serve.

We come here twice a year when we take a vacation VA beach and every single time has been stellar. Amazing food (highly recommend the yucca sticks) great drink selection (both alcoholic and non) and extremely friendly waiting staff. The fastest service I've ever seen from any restaurant. I had a party of 15 and we were able to get seperate checks and tip independently. The food was hot, good, servers were excellent, atmosphere was great. Just really good vibes. I highly recommend. I had my daughter's dinner party for her 18th bday the day I went.

First time to this restaurant, saw the menu and the food and drinks looked great. We were seated quickly, and waited for or server for about 15-20 minutes. He took our order, a few minutes later I get my drink it was good then out appetizer and we didn’t see our server at all. I asked another server for silverware and plates and she was like sure ok, but never brought us our silverware by this time it had been 30 minutes and our server finally comes to our table as the food is delivered we ask him for silverware and plates, he brings it and never saw him again. Had to ask another server to bring us to go boxes and the check, worst service ever, our server was to worried with his party table which was right across from us.

Went on a Sat afternoon and we sat outside where they have heated lamps. We sat right under one & it was very toasty for sure. So you can't be cold under there. The food was great, appetizers good as well. Drinks descent. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. The music is island music so my husband from the carribean loved it. Only issue is they did not have the table cleaned before we sat. So the hostess did it. All staff wore mask & they seated social distance. Will be back in the future

There food is so Delicious, the Jerk chicken wings with the sauce and coconut shrimps with the sauce is my favorite. Customer service was great, service was fast. I went there Saturday afternoon, not many people but leaving there was so many people waiting to go in, made me a little uncomfortable, I'm glad I was leaving at that time, people definitely was not 6 feet apart.

I hadn't been here in a while; certainly not since I stopped eating meat. I wanted to see what options Bahama Breeze had. I ordered a drink, the black bean burger, and fries. It was delicious! Our waitress was so attentive and took very good care of my husband, toddler and I. For my toddler, we ordered broccoli, and fries. The portions were nice so I was able to try the broccoli as well and it was also very tasty. I believe the drink I had was a painkiller. It did not disappoint. I will be back, probably for happy hour soon. Good service, great food, and the price was right!

This is my first time at this restaurant, very nice, very appealing walking in, we were able to get seated pretty quickly as we also had a reservation. The staff was very welcoming. We let them know we added additional people coming in, they also made room for them. The food was excellent, I had shrimp and grits. I had a few that had the oxtails and the chicken wings, everything was great, the food was delicious.the only thing I have to say is one I was surprised that they had run out of baby back ribs, and the service was really slow last night. I know it was kind of busy as there was a graduation across the street earlier, but it was really, really slow, but I would go back again because the food was good and check out the service again.

Ordered the Jerk Chicken wings for an appetizer. It came with 6 whole wings (drummet, wingette, and tip. Ordered Guac and chips. Ordered the Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes corn and black beans. Ok the Jerk Chicken is the star player of the restaurant. It is really good. Do not order the Guac and xhip (No flavor whatsoever. Fried chicken was very good.

Went here recently with a few friends who fell in love on their first visit. The seafood paella is excellent and highly recommended as a dish. We ordered two drinks that involved watermelon ice cubes or something, I guess and they were too frozen to drink properly. Ordered a Scooby Snack shot and it was DELICIOUS! Even came with whipped cream, which most bars don't have. Slight wait time for having orders come out, even drinks, and you can only order a limited amount of items at the table tablet. However great place for dinner.

We arrived about 2pm and chose to eat inside as there was practically no one in there. Service was good, everyone had masks. We had cocktails, and I had shrimp tacos, hubby had fish tacos. Really friendly server, she was great! Drinks were awesome and the happy hour prices were great! Came here with my parents and the live music was way too loud. Restaurant was super crowded and we could hardly hear ourselves. Music wasn't very good either which was a bummer. Our food was mostly great, loved my coconut shrimp tacos and mom's shrimp and mahi bowl. However, my dad's steak came out DISGUSTING. Somehow impossible to cut, yet barely cooked at all. It was his first time ever sending food back in his life. When the new one came out it was so much better! Overall a good experience.

Well, there was good and bad. The spicy shrimp appetizer and the rum cake dessert were absolutely amazing. However, the calamari was either old or overcooked as it was very tough. And the Jamaican sampler was a complete disappointment. The service was definitely great. We would go back, but obviously know a couple things not to order. The atmosphere was nice and not overly noisy. They do offer reservations.

Worth the trip to Virginia Beach, VA. Faith was the waitress and was very knowledgeable and pleasant. First time being there she was polite in sharing top favorites among regular customers and new items on the menu. Faith answered any questions I had about the menu without hesitation. The paella was very delicious along with the seafood chowder. Coconut shrimp tacos were very delicious with their sauce. Definitely will return in the future.

I gave 3 because the one from my home town Virginia be BANGIN.. these ppl here.... lets just say NEW MANAGEMENT is needed. It's a hit or miss Every visit and I've been around 4 times now..Never get to catch the live music and sometimes the bartenders tend tonstick with their own "class" of people, idk.. maybe in another year or 2 - once they get their swag together... cause the food selection is interesting and fun.. just can't get with the staff of Charleston.. To be clear, the franchise is nice, this location and staff still needs to grow. They're still new in my observation. And in my experience the people of Charleston really don't like to work, so good luck!!

Good service but the food lacks. They have a really neat concept and established bar presence, however, like most bars their food lacks in flavor. There presentation is outstanding I just wish it had more flavor; whether that be more authentic spices or an overhaul completely on their fish tacos and "Caribbean" spiced foods. Overall I'd say definitely give it a shot if you are in the area for lunch or dinner and can pair it with their drink menu.

Went to this place for the first time, and it was really nice from the inside out or outside, and rather got seated rather quickly, because we did make a reservation. It was pretty busy, also considering there was a graduation a little bit earlier that day, so a lot of people were there. The food was excellent, although they did run out of baby back ribs, but the service was painfully slow!!!! Now I do understand it was busy, however, it was painfully slow, I do plan to visit again to see how it is and I'll update my review!

I made reservations for my group for 6:15 and I made sure to note what the special occasion was. When we arrived 1. We still had to wait 20-30 minutes to be seated and 2. They sat us at 2 round tables next to each other, not even pushed together. The reason to make a reservation is to be seated relatively quickly and to ensure were all seated TOGETHER. The restuarant has large oval tables that seat 10-12 people, but for whatever reason we were not put at one of these tables. We had 2 separate waitresses, which is completely fine, expected actually for a big party, but we went without drink refills for long periods of time. I want to add we had ice water, sweet tea, soda...only 2 people had beers that were on tap. We had to ask 3 times for a highchair, after being seated. I'm giving them 3 stars because their take on Caribbean food is not horrible. It's what someone would expect from a chain restaurant.

I've been twice, the first time was amazing! Great service, food and drinks. The second time I ordered a steak to be cooked medium and changed my side to asparagus. The steak came out well done while my friends was medium as requested. Took a while to get the waitress back. She apologized and took the food back, manager came over apologized and gave a free salad. My food finally came out but without the asparagus, smh. They did fix everything but it should have come out correctly the first time not the Third!!

Very good Caribbean food, but the wait staff is inattentive and the food takes a very long time. The taste is always spot on, but our server was very very hard to track down. We waited over forty minutes for our food, and the serving of fried plantains that came with was very small and one of the three small pieces was not fully cooked. When we were done eating, it took our server another twenty minutes simply to get the check and a box for us. Very frustrating.

This is a very nice place to eat. The food I've ordered is uniquely flavorful with a hint of the Caribbean. Well worth checking out. My only negative is the service, it's not bad it just needs a better flow. There seems to be enough staff but there also seems to be a lot of confusion.

Ate outdoors and the weather was perfect for it. I tried their new chicken and shrimp dish (forgot the name) and it was awesome. It reminds me of jambalaya. The waitress was attentive. Physical distancing and mask precautions are in full effect.

Husband and friend took me there for my 70th birthday. Food was good. Ordered Appetizers spinach dip.and it was.poorly prepared, to liquidity taste was good. It was sent back but still not the way it should have been prepared. Server was great. Dessert was very good as it was suggested.

If we had this in Lake Charles, La, it'll be packed everyday all day. I love to atmosphere, the food n mostly those strawberry lemonades. A perfect 10 in my eyes.

Quite the lively place on a Friday evening in June! My girlfriend and I both had the jerk chicken pasta! Very good! The beer selection is good if you like domestic and imports. Menu said ask the server for a craft and local beer selection (which had me excited) but she showed me the same list I had seen on another menu insert...

Server was really nice and was her first day. Ordered the spinach dip and it came out a long time after we ordered it. Food was good and hot. Just not jump out of your chair delisious. Chicken seemed to be cooked a little to long. Bone inside was falling apart and real dark.

Had a lovely time the drinks are delicious! The service was exceptional and the food I had the linguine lobster and shrimp needed a little more Alfredo sauce ask for extra and the waitstaff did accommodate this was my second time going and every time has been an enjoyable experience!

Nice atmosphere, kid friendly, and great food. Highly recommend you check this place out. I have a family of 4. Our waiter Josh was very attentive and welcoming. The house lemonade was awesome, and all of our food, chicken tenders to the shrimp linguine, was done to perfection. Price is in the mid to high range but well worth it. Only down side is no offered senior or military discount.

I have dined here about three times and never had a issue so I decided to have my birthday dinner here last night. I made reservations two weeks ago for 7:30 and we did not get seated until 8:30. After bringing it to the managers attention that we made reservations and we should have been seated at the time we made reservations for, they finally seated us at two small round tables which separated my party. luckily a customer was Nice enough to switch tables with me and my guest. As a manager your first priority should be making your customers happy but all this manager could do was tell me it's nothing he can do about it because he can't make people get up. Such a nice restaurant but I was very disappointed in the customer service

Brittney (Our server) was excellent. They were understaffed, but we would not have known except for the warning from the hostess. Food was wonderful. Brittney kept our glasses full and she even brought extra ice for our tea (before we even thought to ask). Our To Go order was perfect.

I was in the area and ordered lunch To-Go. The Jerk Chicken Pasta was delish! Sophisticatedly seasoned, the slices of jerk chicken breast were moist. I'm not a fan of asparagus but I enjoyed it along with the mushrooms and cream sauce.

Not a fan of all of their flavours, but I like how the food is always clean. The atmosphere is great for catching up with friends or enjoying a light night out. Premises and restrooms are clean and organized, and staff is wonderful. If you're looking for some place to groove and have a change of pace for a bit, this is the place to be!
