Reviews of Willa's

Go or not to go? Go. So this lovely bistro type restaurant is in the middle of nowhere as far as S Tampa is concerned. It’s close to downtown but you still have to drive there. That said, parking is easy and it is worth a trip there. The service is great, staff is attentive, and it definitely has that feeling of a chic restaurant. The food was good (we only had the lunch menu). My snapper was very bland but my friend was happy with her chicken Caesar salad. A little pricey for lunch two of us spent $60. I am happy to go back and try out the dinner.

Came in for New Year’s Eve brunch and was not disappointed! Our server, forgot to ask his name, was knowledgeable and prompt. We had the Pork Belly Disco fries, and they were fantastic, fries were cooked perfectly and were not soggy and the cheese sauce was perfect. Creamy, rich and best of all it stayed smooth while eating it and didn’t congeal the way some other cheese sauces do. My husband ordered the Nate’s plate and it had some of the best cured salmon I have ever had. He also mentioned the eggs were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the chicken Schnitzel off the recommendation of our waiter and was not disappointed it was utterly fantastic! We will be back soon!

Great spot for lunch or brunch. Very clean, modern decor. Joe was our server and was very friendly and super attentive. We had the breakfast café, salmon bagel, strawberry spritz, and a cucumber gin, so were delicious. I'd definitely come back.

Great food and experience. Went on burger Wednesdays but it didn’t change the dinner experience we were looking for at all. We tried the burger of the night and it was delicious! Half off wine bottles was a extra treat as well. Overall the food was great and the service was even better. Can’t wait to try the brunch

Quality food, beautiful atmosphere, consistently great place to grab a meal. I’ve been to Willa’s a handful of times since they opened and every time is a pleasant experience. The staff is kind and engaging, the decor is clean and beautiful, the food is simple and delicious. Went last night for happy hour into dinner. Had the chips and charred scallion dip (great), ricotta toast (even better than expected), roast chicken entree (I get this almost every time) and pot de crème for dessert (also wonderful). Willa’s has become one of those great/reliable places to pop in for a meal and take guests when they’re in from out of town.

This is a really good place for cocktails. I wouldn’t return unless it was during happy hour or there were specials running. I had the salmon with a side of broccoli. Both of the sauces were too lemony and it was noticeable to make me think the food is not worth the price. The waiter, Butters, was nice until we asked for the check and he didn’t say a word to us since returning to our table twice after. Again, I’d only return for the ambience and drinks.

We enjoyed the most delicious meal tonight. Loved the Aperol Spritz too. The rotisserie chicken, fish and chips and the Schnitzel were amazing and oh so tasty. Enough parking. Inside was nicely decorated. Unbelievable long bar. Lovely setting. Can’t wait to come back.
Adam Walker
Porkbelly burger was delicious but should have a warning for being so messy. Service was very friendly but a little slow, though probably due to the place being packed out at a peak time. Good mimosas helped make for a pleasant lunch experience.

What a great place for a casual brunch. The atmosphere is light and airy, with white walls painted by artists. The food was creative and unexpected. We had the Salmon and Bagel, Poutine, Latkes and Huevos Rancheros and were very happy. Great service from our waiter John!

I really enjoyed my dinner with hubs on our date night. I ordered the shrimp & grits and with a lavender & rosemary tonic water. So delicious. We did not have a long wait at all. Dinner was delicious 😋 But it was a tad bit too loud. It gave me armature vibes. …

Great restaurant and great vive. The service was absolutely fantastic. The menu can look simple but it is actually nothing of the sort, they give a good twists to solid and well known recipes.

Willa's now serving WEEKEND BRUNCH. Chic, minimalistic, clean- located near UT and not too far from Kennedy Blvd. Awesome service- Bartender Ronnie. Also, I am embarrassed that I cannot remember our waitress' name; she was great- efficient and very personable. (For Management purposes: my receipt indicates "ST1 on 09.05.21".). Kudos to her and Ronnie. Unique specialty cocktails. My only (slight) criticism is that one has to have their entire party together before they seat you. I understand why restaurants do that, but when the restaurant is not even full, there isn't any risk in seating half of the party (2 out of 4 people). It wasn't like a 10 top. C'est la vie- it is a minor inconvenience. Willa's is one of my favorite, new restaurants. Btw, sincere thanks to the entire staff for wearing their masks. We will eventually get through this. :)

I had heard about this spot from multiple people and it lived up to the hype. Amazing food the chefs know there stuff and the servers recommendations were on point. For starters we got the Whipped Ricotta toast, as well as beef tartare. Incredible. For mains we got the pork schnitzel and the Cavatelli. Along with the Macaroni au gratin, Mushrooms, and coconut squash. Overall great experience and glad we went. We will definitely be back soon.

Second visit, even more impressed than the first time. The food is creative yet with simple fresh ingredients. The vibe uptempo chill if that makes sense??? We dined family style, sharing in all the different flavors and testing out all the cocktail on the menu! I don't think anyone in the group was disappointed!

Such a cute place and a vibe on a Friday afternoon. They serve brunch til 2 on weekdays and the menu has different selections on the weekends. From the vibey outside climbing vines on their sign, to the all day cafe/restaurant combo and chill af staff, Willa's gives off such a cool, calm and collected vibe. The interior is so Scandinavian and pleasing to the eye. It's a great spot for a solo meal or happy hour. They have that too! Speaking of the meal. That ROTISSERIE CHICKEN IS EVERYTHING. Do yourself a service. Go and try the chicken. I dare you not to crave more even days after.

Really cute and chic establishment. Table of 6- Moules Frites as an appetizer for the table- it was good- loved the cream sauce. The drinks, I had to send my first drink back and ended up with wine. I ordered steak with Seared Broccolini- I didn’t care for the sauce on the broccolini, my husband ordered Double Smash Cheeseburger on English muffin which he didn’t care for at all nor finish. Would not reorder either meal. Menu is limited. We enjoyed our time together at this restaurant but didn’t care for the food.

Wow, just came into Tampa for the day and stumbled upon this place cause it’s down the street from my Airbnb. Menu was excellent not too long which is great. Had a Croque madame and an espresso martini with Mezcal. Food is excellent. Rich flavor not dumbed down. You could also tell that they’ve used quality ingredients. Bailey is my server and she’s great. She made some good recommendations as far as drinks go. I will definitely be coming back. The food was so good that I almost forgot to take a picture so here’s a picture of my half eaten food.
Danessa Domingo
One of my favorite places for brunch. The drinks are delicious. The apps are phenomenal (you MUST get the latkes). And brunch entrees will put you in a great mood.
Marina Machado
Love this little gem in Tampa. Have been here on 4 separate occasions and will absolutely be back. The drinks are always delicious, both brunches and dinners were very tasty. Some of my favorite items were the Fred's Roasted Chicken and Buttermilk Bacon Wedge salads. Brought my husband here for a date night one evening and he liked it a lot as well. Unique place that has New York City vibe. Not a large menu, but enough to be able to choose items anyone enjoys. Service is always great starting from hostesses ending with servers and I absolutely love that they had multiple employees sign a card for me wishing me a happy birthday. Have never seen anything like this at any restaurant in Tampa. Recommend Willa's for sure!

This is the best breakfast in Tampa. Do not miss the poutine, it is the exact combination of salty crunchy cheesy gravy that I want occupying my mouth for every moment I have left on this Earth. The French toast was good too, how do they make fruit taste better than fruit tastes?
Danielle H
Lovely. I came with a friend for after work Friday night drinks and dinner. I had the pork schnitzel It was the best I ever eaten and it was tender and perfect, maybe jelly would have added to the perfection. We had cocktails and the opera cake. Setting and vibe was superb. I appreciate a high quality establishment when I see one 👍🏻. …
Katie Gonzalez
5 stars! Chic ambiance with great vibe. The cocktails are unique and delicious. We ordered family style so we could try a bunch of items. Everyone was happy with all of the plates. The chef is obviously very talented and the service was great. And make sure you try their homemade soft serve ice cream for dessert. SO GOOD! Will definitely be back.
Alejandra Acosta
The atmosphere was lovely, the perfect scene for a group event, date night, or just casual drinks with a friend. The cocktails are incredibly unique, all telling a story of their own. The servers all had smiles on their faces and eager to greet customers. My personal favorite is the miso salmon, my now “go-to staple” paired with the tahini Caesar. A must try in Tampa and perfect addition to the neighborhood.
Miranda Hindahl
I feel like trendy restaurants are a dime a dozen in Tampa right now, but Willa’s feels different. Prices are comparable for the area in my opinion. My favorite dish was the fried oysters. They have cocktails on tap, which is still a novelty to me; if you like to plan before you go, the cocktail menu is on the dinner tab of the website.
Hrisanthi Loli
This place is adorable but the pastries and coffee are just ok. Tried it twice. Second time I got an oat milk iced coffee and I don’t understand how an iced coffee cost me $7.50.
Lisa Lane
Had a light dinner a few nights ago. My Burger and fries were so good. The Pickled Cucumber Salad was 🤌. The Staff was Awesome and the purple Tequila drink was over the top!
A cool place with a genuine feel good atmosphere.

Willa’s is Tampa’s newest gem! The ambiance and decor is absolutely stunning while still being very comfortable and casually cool.
We ordered the prosciutto, pickles, bread, kale Caesar salad, rotisserie chicken, pork chop, Mac and cheese, greens and banana pudding. The plates were affordable and I appreciated the opportunity to indulge in yummy food or eat a healthy, lighter meal.
I can’t wait to go back for dinner, casual drinks with friends, and to check out their cafe Willa’s Provisions opening soon. I have a feeling Willa’s will be my new go-to!
Mara Rutledge
I loved my experience at Willa’s, the breakfast sandwich was delicious and my sweet potato oat milk latte was as well. definitely recommend! 😊

I used to love coming to Willa’s, especially on the weekends for brunch. Some months, my partners and I would go every weekend to enjoy the food (especially the biscuits), the cocktails, and the coffee. Willa’s was our favorite place.
They recently changed their menu to remove a number of dishes and beverages (we tried to order the biscuits and were told they were only available as part of the biscuit and gravy dish).
They also increased the prices of each dish exponentially ($19 for the biscuits and gravy, $25 for their standard eggs dish, and $25 for the huevos rancheros & eggs). I understand the price of everything is increasing and restaurants must adjust menu item price to account for the increase. But for the prices to increase in tandem with the menu being slashed and so drastically, really takes away from my being able to enjoy a meal there.

Great vibe. Music was good, decor good. Waitresses were good. Drinks were tasty, had some version of a Moscow mule. The shrimp and grits were seasoned well. Definitely worth checking out!
Morgan Rotberg
Great experience at Willa’s. Perfect spot for small bites, great service and delicious options. Highly recommend the whipped ricotta toast, tahini Caesar and the onion and hummus dip
platter. Looking forward to returning soon.

We went for brunch and really enjoyed our experience. We got the latke plate, french toast & pastries. The pastries came warm with accompaniments of sauces. The latkes were crispy & flavorful. The french toast was refreshing and very fluffy served with crème, berries and a citrus syrup. Each item seemed to have thoughtful sauces and details which really made everything so much more delicious. The coffee is absolutely amazing too! The service was great & the aesthetic is also very cool. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I thought the food and service was good. My girlfriends dad took our family here and it’s a nice spot, no complaints at all. The one thing i found weird was how one of the servers came outside as we were waiting for our Uber to say we didn’t leave a good enough tip. So he proceeded to ask us how the service was and we told him it was great, no problems at all. Then said “well the percentage is normally 20%, and then followed that statement with but you can leave it at 5%. It really just rubbed me the the wrong way. So if you go here the total price at the end of the night or meal is what you ordered, plus 20% apparently. A tip is supposed to be what you want to leave the server not what the restaurant wants you to leave the server. Might come back in the future might not.

Great spot in North Hyde Park – love the space; promising menu; really excited to see this restaurant & adjacent café develop into a new local attraction and fine dining venue … Willa’s has all the ingredients to make for a hip & happening spot to eat and drink … I like what I’m seeing so far – keep it up! … Welcome to the neighborhood!

Solid 4.5 rating (if that was an option!) Chicken was tender, flavorful and juicy. The mac n cheese was the best side item we ordered. The staff was attentive, friendly and warm. My martini was perfect.

Serious kudos to @siegelnate, the other co-owners and to Chef Zak Davila! What a great space and even better menu. We arrived just as they opened the doors for the evening. Pics are of the cured Castelvetrano olives and beef Tartare. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it looked so amazing, that I forgot to take photos. :( We enjoyed the braised greens, roasted mushrooms and Pork Schnitzel for our main course- delicious! Nate- one of the owners- stopped by to check on us. The service was professional and friendly. We will become regulars. Congrats on your opening!! 100%

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! I initially wanted to go to Willas because it looked so cute, but the food is definitely now the reason I go back. I've visited for brunch and dinner and both we're delicious. The huevos rancheros is a must order for brunch! I also love that they have a wide selection of mocktails that are delicious. Overall, great spot and can't wait to visit again soon!

The place is beautiful 😍 I ordered the Steak Frites with Roasted Mushrooms🍄they were so delicious! and the Willas Fix drink 🍹so refreshing!
Highly Recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great time 🙂 …

Went to brunch with my spouse on a Saturday morning. Greeted and seated promptly inside. Waitress was attentive, no complaints with the service. Plenty of free parking. Nice hip environment.
I had the onion latktes, came with apple butter & creme fraiche. Nice portion size, thought they could have been a little less crunchy , scrambled eggs were cook very well, 3 oz of salmon it was delicious, nice quality, good crispy skin. Spouse had the huevos rancheros, was good, adequate portion, egg cooked very well. Drinks:coffee & lager - good Split a cruller-basically a donut with cinnamon sugar, reminded me of a churro. Was a little too brown for my taste. I love an establishment that gives you bread (toast, mini muffins) when you sit down so was disappointed when they didn't. Overall a little pricey for brunch but not out of line with other brunch spots.
Updated review based on the carrot cake. I stopped by and got a slice to go.
I absolutely loved this cake, the frosting was silky smooth, not too sweet and just the right amount. I have never had carrot jam before, what a nice touch. The cake layers were so even & is decorated so elegantly. I would like a little more carrot in the cake- but will still give it a 5 star rating!

I really loved going here, but dafuq did y’all do to the menu!? Half of the menu is gone and how can you justify $23 for eggs, bacon, and grits, $20 for an omelette, and $20 for a dry bagel with salmon?
Tyrone
Willa's offers yummy comfort food at a reasonable price. I visited for the first time and ordered their Aperol Spritz on tap! They use tea from one of Tampa's cherished tea shops, Teabella, to infuse flavor into their spritz and because of that, it is super delicious.
For food, I tried their Pork Schnitzel - panko crusted and fried with porchetta spices, lemon, dressed greens.
For dessert, I tried their Amaro-gato, a take on Affogato but with a shot of Averna vice Espresso!
The food, service, atmosphere and everything else was amazing. We sat in the patio area which I recommend for that European vibe. If the weather is nice that day, you will have a memorable experience soaking it all in.
Thanks Merrin for coming by our table to say hello and explaining your concept. We look forward to visiting the bakery/coffee shop next door, Willa's Provisions.
Cheers.
Melody Johnson
The food is excellent. I have visited twice so far, great service. You must try the ice cream for desert. Macaroni bisque, rotisserie chicken and flavorful broccoli!
Myah Douglas
Brunch was absolutely amazing!! The first time I've had grits that I didn't need to completely doctor up when it came to my table. Our server Joe recommended us some great drinks and he really made our day! Can't wait to try dinner 🥳
Also, I recommend making a reservation! It ended up being very busy by the time we left so we were thankful we came prepared!

A beautifully thoughtful bar/restaurant gem located in the heart of the NoHo district north of Kennedy.
Every detail is accounted for and the food is awesome. Staff/Management is friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the live music on the Provisions side of the building (where we got soft serve and a coffee after dinner). HIGHLY suggest.
Joshua Schiller
Always great food and the vibe is wonderful as well. The drinks are good and service is always spot on, can't recommend Willa's enough, one of my all time favorites.

I visited Willa's last weekend for the first time and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Our server Tommy was quick and very tentative. The food, AMAZING!! We got quite a few different things to try out. The rotisserie chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the sandwich's were large and very tasty! We also tried the broccolini and mac and cheese that chef Adam recommended and were blown away as well. There were no complaints about anything from the four of us at our table. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Beny Vasquez
The food, the service and the ambiance was great. We had a great time eating here.
Tabitha Camp
I liked the atmosphere & decor. The food was eh ok. Definitely NOT worth the price. We had the shrimp cocktail, steak frites, pork, macaroni & brownie. Everything seemed like something I could easily make at home & I'm not a great cook. It reminded me of food you'd want to eat late at night after being at the club. I'd consider trying the coffee shop & some pastries but we won't be back for dinner.
Julia Vi
Fresh ingredients, well crafted food, lots of options, and great prices. Had a good time!
Bridgette Santos
Cute, light, and breezy with a vegetarian friendly menu and a great happy hour
Jon Martin
What a lovely spot with kind, thoughtful service. The food was great, the coffee was great, and they let us eat out on the patio with our dog. Overall a very positive atmosphere and a nice experience. There is even a coffee shop connected to the restaurant.
Jay Carr
Portions of food were surprisingly small for the amount being paid. All 5 of our dishes were very salty. Waiter was super friendly.
Spence
Amazing service and great food. Joe was awesome and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. We will definitely be back.
Melissa Zehr
Company holiday party was hosted here. My first time here. It’s beautiful inside and the food and service were delicious and wonderful.
Susan O' Williams
It's a beautiful spot. Indoor, peach and tan modish tropical decor reminds me of places in Palm Springs. The food itself was overall good. As a head's up, the flavors are very mild, so don't expect a punch in the mouth. The moules are served in a light, spicy broth and the tahini in the Caesar salad is almost imperceptible, but the food is still tasty. Nicely presented. The menu is quite smart in offering familiar favorites (moules frites, roast chicken, Caesar salad, brownies, fried oysters, charcuterie options). The size of the plates are smaller than what you might expect (and I'm not a big eater in general), so you may need to order a few more plates to share. Your bill will add up, but you survived the pandemic, so who cares. The cocktail list was quite varied. My Hotel National cocktail was mixed well, but to be honest, was mostly crushed ice. Next time, I'll ask for less ice. The service was a standout. Attentive, fast, genuinely friendly and not overbearing.
Caroline Davis
I loved it all! The chic ambience, the friendly staff, the epic cocktail list, the yummy food! They make everything from scratch in-house and that caring dedication shows. The light fluffy bread, the fresh fruity cocktails, the hot just-off-the-spit rotisserie chicken. I had no room when dessert arrived! ...Except it looked so good, I found room.
Marinna Barros
The place is beautiful, and the service was great! The reason I'm giving 3 stars is that the food was way overpriced and I found the portions to be small. They also served our food cold. We ordered the olive oil cake for dessert and returned it after one bite because it was no good at all! I really wish I loved this place, but it didn't happen. Drinks were good, though (Willa's fix 10/10).
Kristen Henderson
LOVE. The food is 10/10 amazing, and the atmosphere and service really sends it to the next level. I have now gone to Willa’s dressed up for a night out and popped in last minute for a great meal after running errands all day. It’s just a fun and unpretentious spot with a clean, airy vibe that suits any occasion, which Tampa had been missing all this time. The entire menu is so well thought out too, something for everyone. So happy Willa’s brought its charm and cuisine to our neighborhood. PS, don’t sleep on the homemade ice cream!
Katherine Sigblad
Super cute ambiance and great service, but the food was seriously lacking in quality and overpriced. We don’t mind spending the amount we spent, but the value was not there; and I’m not talking solely about portion size.
Let’s start with the good:
- the cocktails/mocktails were perfect. Great ratios of ingredients, beautiful presentation, garnishes were on point, and not watered down or too sweet. Excellent price points too.
- Despite nearly every restaurant being short staffed with mediocre service for the last two years, my husband and I were impressed with the proactiveness, efficiency, and professionalism of the servers and hostess here. Very refreshing.
- the ambiance. Great playlist that wasn’t basic top 40s. Good lighting. Chic yet down to earth decor. If anything, they could probably take the music down a few notches. My husband and I are in our early 30s and had to shout to converse; we joked this is what it’s going to be like when we’re an old married couple.
The bad:
- every dish fell short of our expectations and the menu description, and nothing really satiated or wowed us. By no means are we expecting Michelin food, however very simple comfort foods really missed the mark.
- the cheese plate app was very sad looking. Instead of using a variety of cheeses (usually a cow, sheep, and goat cheese, mixing textures and levels of sharpness will do the trick), the plate consisted of cheap sliced Brie- like the kind you could get from Publix or you’d bring to a casual picnic with friends. I can go to to Whole Foods and whip up a more aesthetically pleasing and flavorful cheese board myself at home, so when we’re dishing out $15 this is not acceptable. Then a small handful of Marcona almonds, two teeny sliced strawberries, and rather than toasting and slicing fresh baguette bread, they included these tiny store bought crunchy crackers- almost like larger croutons. Again, very sad. Definitely not worth $15. Perhaps $4? Crazy margins. The lack of effort and variety in the cheese did not go unnoticed.
- the smash burger. The fries seemed like they were previously fried then sat out for a bit then were reheated. They were ultra fried and over salted. Also, most people don’t enjoy eating their burger well done. Well, when you get the smash burger it’s two thin, smashed patties that are smashed and cooked well throughout. So, no delicious medium rare flavor, and the ends were charred crispy.
I get it, this is like an elevated fast food style burger. However, with In-N-Out or shake shack burger vibes (however shake shack burger is way better than the smash burger), no way you can justify $17. This was more like a $10 or max $13 entree.
The tahini Caesar. I know what Tahini is and have been to Israel. I know what Caesar is. Very confusing and deceptive name. I had to ask our server if this meant instead of a Caesar dressing, was it a tahini dressing, or is it a hybrid? Apparently there’s no tahini, it’s just Caesar without the egg yolk. Fine. I tried it with the addition of the 3.5 oz of salmon. Again, so much potential, but it missed the mark. Yes, there’s a lot of cheese on top which is fine. The greens were very fresh and high quality. However it would have been pretty with a little garnish or maybe some sliced tomato. You’ll spend $9 for a 3.5 oz serving of salmon. It’s very hard to continuously justify the insane margins here when I could have whipped that salad together at home for a quarter of the cost and still use wild, fresh salmon.
The pickles were just fine. My husband is from Sweden, so we’ve tried pickled everything. Again, nothing to write home about. Just your average sweet, sliced pickles. Tiny portion.
Anyway, I wish the food presentation and quality was better so we could justify the cost. Next time we agreed we’ll just sit at the bar for a cocktail then head somewhere else for dinner. Maybe Willa’s Provisions next door is better for just basic breakfast/lunch, we’re not sure.

Love this spot!! Willa's is one of the most versatile and consistently delicious restaurants in Tampa. Always met with a smile and never rushed. Salmon, steak frites, all salads, and sides are a must-order. Reasonably priced and good for a casual meal or a celebration. Cocktails are carefully curated, yummy, and visually pleasing. OH and the homemade soft-serve...don't miss it!
Jo Nicole
We love visiting this spot for cocktails. The ambiance is great, bartenders are solid, and location is amazing. My husband and I haven’t found the menu for dinner to be very appealing, so have only visited several times for drinks.
Robert Peters
I'll say that Willa's definitely delivered on the promises it made. The ingredients were top shelf, the delivery extraordinary, and the service was well above par.
The selection of custom cocktails was nice, original, and in synch with the concept. The same to be said of the snacks, think build your own charcuterie, and appetizers.
The simplicity of the menu is testament to the forethought of the chef. The elegance of French cuisine is the straightforward simple combinations of exceptional ingredients, while the American influence of layers of flavors plays a significant role in the dishes. This creates what are seemingly simple dishes with complex flavor profiles that are deliverable in a quick bit of time.
Our server, aware of this, catered to our timing as we ate instead of rushing us through courses, leaving us feeling at ease, truly unrushed. I would say we had an extra couple of drinks as a result, which is nice for us as well as the restaurant.
We started with whipped ricotta hazelnut toast. It was rich, creamy and vibrant in it's flavor. For dinner, the mussels were elegant, intense and vibrant. The papperdelle was fresh made, rich and decadent. The ice cream and sorbet were clearly homemade. The creaminess and richness were unmistakable, and the intense flavors were mouth watering.
I would definitely recommend Willa's for an elegant and yet not expensive night in Tampa.

My girlfriend and I stopped at Willa's before a Bucs game and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious and so were the drinks! My favorite was the rotisserie chicken and the mac and cheese! I also recommend the Fried Cedar Key Oysters. We'll definitely be coming back!
Alexis Amato
Went with a friend on a Saturday night and really enjoyed our experience. Everything we ordered was so tasty and the service was perfect! Beautiful atmosphere as well; we loved all of the plants and modern vibe. 🪴Prices were reasonable; it’s a nicer restaurant and quality food. Definitely will be returning! Recommend making a reservation.
Kelly Ezagury
The service and the food amazing , went to bunch and everything o the menu look good
MELISA MARTIN
Dishes were divine. Everything we had was perfectly presented and you couldn’t help but keep tasting and trying to pick out all of the great ingredients in the food. Food felt clean and fresh, so good. Loved the decor and the vibe on a Friday evening was awesome. Service was spot on too. Will be back again.
Chris Beranek
This was a fabulous breakfast with friendly staff. Everything was a step above. The eggs, sausage- even the toast (brioche). Plus amazing drinks. They have select hours- so check before you go, but do go!
Jules De Roo
Such a great place for a nice dinner. Got the chance to meet Nate and he was so welcoming and upbeat. This is going to be one hot spot to be in Tampa. They offer a variety of meals and they can all be accompanied by their delicious side dishes. Their rotisserie chicken and mac n cheese are both 10/10. Don't forget to try their fried oysters! I will definitely be back for more
Andrew DeMil
Bailey was an amazing server. Friendly and helpful and welcoming. The food was amazing. NA IPA and green juice to drink. I recommend.
Frances Scott
Met with a friend for coffee and catch up time. It was the perfect spot to meet and the coffee was delicious! The coffee shop is next door to the restaurant...so it is quiet and conversation is easy. I highly recommend Willa's!

Willa great time! This is going to be a Tampa staple, so get in while you still can. Enjoyed our visit with our sever Amber. She suggested adding a garlic aioli to our patio chips which is necessary. Also enjoyed meeting Nate, one of the owners, who was very nice! The soft serve is a must have, but be careful as it is addicting. Overall great prices with a great unique vibe. I would almost call it a modern utilitarian vibe, but I'm no expert. They make a ton of unexpected things themselves like ginger beer and tonic. Go while you can:) The owner informed me that they are going to accept reservations for a portion of the restaurant every night but they are also going to save a generous portion for walk-ins as they don't want the place to be fully reserved each night. I could see an exclusive wait in their future.

My wife, son, and I ate at Willa's last night. My son ordered the fish and chips. My wife ordered the half chicken. We also ordered three sides - the mac and cheese, the seared broccolini, and the roasted mushrooms.
We had mixed feelings about the food. The fish was pretty bland. Granted, that fish can be bland, but some flavor in the breading would have helped. However, according to my son, the "chips" (i.e., fries) were perfect - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken was... fine. It came with a lot of what tasted like chimchurri - way too much. But the flavor of the chicken itself was not memorable; a little smoke, maybe, but otherwise it was lacking (roasted chickens at Publix have more flavor, TBH). The mushrooms were quite flavorful, but the macaroni and cheese was lackluster. I make a much tastier macaroni and cheese at home. The winner of the night was the seared broccolini. We ordered it to add some vegetables to our meal. Technically, yes, it was a veggie, but it came smothered in a rich, amazingly flavorful sauce that probably undid any health benefits. Even so, the broccolini was our favorite dish.
The ambience was modern and nice. Our server was excellent - very friendly and attentive. Had the main dishes included more flavor, and ideally more complex flavors, I could see giving Willa's 5 stars. As it was, the main dishes we ordered were somewhat disappointing. They tasted fine, but we were looking for amazing, not meh. If you go, get the broccolini and maybe try some of the other main dishes.

Impeccably designed interiors paired with delicious food! The ambiance is lively. It's a perfect restaurant where you would feel comfortable dressing up or dressing down. You can tell all of the menu offerings were thoughtfully curated. I look forward to returning again soon to try even more on the menu!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Willas. Everything we ordered was so delicious starting with the whipped ricotta toast and ending with every dessert on the menu. Kudos to the chefs and the entire staff for an outstanding experience. We will definitely be back!!!

I was hesitant to try this place because it seemed like another instagrammable brunch spot with over priced passable food. I was WRONG
Everything we had was delicious. The menu was incredibly presented with options from the picky to the adventurous. I am going to have trouble not getting the same thing twice and trying something new next time. Best Croque Madame I’ve ever had

Latte with oat milk was delicious and perfect temp. Food was well made and beat expectations. I will be back!

The restaurant is beautiful and has an amazing ambience and super friendly staff. Fried Cedar Key Oysters, Tahini Caesar, and Seared Ōra King Salmon is my go to order along with either the Parsley Pepper Margarita or a Gingers Rule!

Is there anywhere else in Tampa that makes their own ginger beer and tonic? I don't think so. Had plenty of gin and tonics to wash down the best rotisserie chicken I have ever had! I really enjoy Willa's and have already been back numerous times.

Attended a private party here and had great service, excellent food and maybe the best carrot cake I've ever had. The private side room even has its own bar and 20 of us were very comfortable.

This is an absolute Gem of a restaurant. I definitely recommend trying the huevos rancheros if you were there on Sunday. The pork belly Burger is also absolutely delicious. Overall a good experience with friendly and attentive staff and a really nice location.

Came for the rotisserie chicken, stayed for the parsley pepper margarita! Truly the best place in tampa to have delicious meal in a gorgeous setting. The ambiance is as great as the food. Our favorites were the tahini caesar, king ora salmon, rotisserie chicken, mac and cheese, and the parsley pepper margarita. You will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to go back soon.

Great Place! Unique and delicious appetizers and sides make it difficult to ever make it to the mains. Second time here and still impressed with the mood and environment. I've been to other places that have tried and failed, but Willa's got it right, and priced so you really can can come back.

Live across the street and always go to Willa’s provisions. Can’t believe I waited 3 months to come here to eat dinner.
The servers are amazing and sweet. I told the girl I’ve been eyeing the mac n cheese for weeks and she comptd it for me. Those are the details you don’t forget. The Cavatelli was amazing and the Mac n cheese even better. The Pot de Creme was to die for!! Thank you Willas

Portland comes to Tampa
Located in the NoHo area, the menu mimics the eclectic, semi-exotic menus found in Portland’s hip SE district. For example, for Brunch: tomatillo shakshuka, latkes, or poutine. For dinner: beet hummus, pork schnitzel. Looking at the millennials & GenZs at the tables, you’ll see a lot of piercing and ink – just like Portland. This is great news for Tampa – shifting away from an old people’s town to a more diverse population which means a more diverse set of restaurants.

Excellent food, moderately priced, with a cool vibe both indoor and outdoor, and a wide bar with a creative list of craft cocktails and a few unique drought beers. Would definitely go again.

Great food, great drinks, and great service. With their house made ginger beer they easily have the best Moscow mule in Tampa. Nate insures all the guests have a great experience. Amber also somehow managed to do a great job running both the bar her tables on a very busy night. We were in and out in under an hour. Highly recommend!
Tara Bourhis
Amazing aesthetic, cute. Breakfast place with lots of options. They have a full bar and plenty of places to take pictures. Highly recommend this spot because it’s conveniently located near the city center. I had a great time and the staff was very friendly, tending to, and he needs that we’re desired.

Can’t say enough good things about Willa’s! I was planning my sisters 30th birthday dinner with a group of 18 and it was becoming impossible to find a restaurant that could take us without being an outrageous price per person. We were down to the week of and I still had not booked a place. I reached out to Willa’s, and they were so willing to help! Angelique, their Events Coordinator was so helpful and made the evening so wonderful. The staff was amazing and accommodating at serving such a large group. Very impressed! The food was incredible as well. I had not been to this restaurant prior, so I was so nervous, but I already cannot wait to come back. Their chicken is unreal. Thank you Willa’s!!
