Pretty good food. Terrible location. The chicken Parm was mostly good but had quite a bit of gristle. My wife got a pizza that was good, although one side of it was burnt...like solid black. The part that wasn't burned had a decent chew on the crust and delicious toppings. We didn't feel safe here at all. And the parking lot is in disarray. The stones around the sign were all over the place. This spot has potential, but unless they change substantially, we won't be back. The toilet in the bathroom was also disgusting.

Pleased to have a bistro, restaurant- pizzeria, (with atmosphere, Vibes that match it's name), arrive in our South Tampa neighborhood! The dim lighting, murals painted surrounding the inside dining area, bistro tables, definitely provided a unique dining experience in this part of Tampa. When we arrived it was difficult to find a parking space. At 6:30ish, the stores that surround it were all closed, every spot taken, so definitely popular already, I ordered a custom for one, Margarita white cream base pizza with spinach tomato, ricotta mozzarella, and it was absolutely delightful, fresh and enough left over for two for lunch the next day! For an appetizer, we had, calamari, everyone at the table said it was some of the best they'd had, cooked to perfection not chewy, not overdone just right. Our second appetizer, bruschetta was some of the freshest I've had. Someone in my party had veal, and said it wasn't bad although he said "my wife makes the best veal!" so maybe he was biased? With the appetizers, shared bottle of wine, and a few other cocktails and entrees we spent about $35 to $40 per person. Viva Napoli restaurant and pizzeria has been mentioned by many friends, was highly recommended, intrigued this made it our chosen spot to try, this weekend, for a family dinner, clearly the word has spread and continues to .. I personally highly recommend their Pizza, the crust was not doughy, or too crispy, and it was just as delicious the next day! Several other signature Italian, menu options.

We drove 30 min to this place! And it was so worth it!! Very nice and friendly stuff, we were served very quickly and the food was amazing! We had Impepata di cozze(mussels), lobster ravioli, Crudo e rucola(prosciutto pizza) and Al Tartufo (black truffle cheese pizza). Everything tasted so good! We will be back for sure

Haven’t been here in a while but it did not disappoint. My husband and I took my in-laws here and they loved it. My go to is the misto salad and margherita pizza 👌🏼 The rest of the table had pasta and said it was fabulous. We will def be going back more frequently! It’s one of those hidden gems in south Tampa. #SunshineReviews

My friend and I stopped by on a Friday night and got seated right away. The friend ordered Bucatini alla Carbonara and I ordered Pizza Parmigiana. The bucatini came out a bit lukewarm, so we asked for it to be heated up. They obliged, and it made a huge difference. Could maybe have had a little more bacon for a carbonara, but still delicious. The pizza, however, was absolutely fantastic! Granted, I haven’t been in Tampa too long, but this was easily my favorite pizza since I moved here. The crust was airy and cooked all the way through in the center, and the sauce and toppings were all delicious. Coupled with a cute mural on the wall, and I know I will be back for more.

Great hidden gem! The food is phenomenal! My family went for dinner and had the gnocchi Al pistachio, Al tartufo pizza, pizza meatlovers, and cannoli for dessert. We always try different Italian restaurants and this has got to be one of the best, most authentic Italian restaurants in South Tampa. Very fresh ingredients, clean and pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon!

Had Margherita Pizza, Black Truffle Risotto, and the Burrata salad. Honestly, everything was amazing which was a big relief. Food was so good got some tiramisu to take home, just finished that and decided this place is worth every star. Also, one of the only places nearby that has an amazing Napoli-esque pizza! Will be coming back.

What a cute spot! Getting to live in Italy and eat authentically kinda ruins for you back in the states but this place did not disappoint! It’s like a little piece of Napoli in South Tampa. Simona, the owner, is very sweet, humble, and welcoming, and the rest of the staff is extremely friendly as well. And now for the most important part, the pizza was fantastic. Neapolitan pizza at its best.

Great place and good service. The location is quite unassuming and somewhat easy to miss. We had the address on google maps and still missed it the first time around. I decided to try the 5 formaggi pizza because I liked how the combination of ricotta and gorgonzola cheeses sounded. I was not disappointed! The portion was generous but out of pure gluttony still ate the entire serving and asked for dessert, which was also delicious. Thank you for making my visit to Tampa all the more tasteful.

The best Italian in Tampa, authentic and consistent cuisine. My family has tried alot of the menu items and we each have multiple favorites, so it makes it hard to order. I worked in Italian restaurants and I have a critical palat for this cusine. The menu is rustic and very creative.

This was our first visit to Viva Napoli and although I'm not a big fan of Italian food, my wife is and we had a great time. It's a cozy little neighborhood place and the staff was warm, friendly and inviting. I haven't tried the pizza yet but it looks delicious and we'll definitely be back to try it. I had the special...cheese ravioli with ham...and my wife had the clams with pasta in white wine & garlic sauce. No disappointment there and prices were reasonably moderate. The house wine was excellent and only $4 a glass before 7pm so that helps take the edge off without denting the bill...all in all I'd say it's a good deal. We'll be back for sure...hope to see you there.

Italian Food.. Located just off Manhattan, on El Prado. Someone raved about the authentic quality of the food so we checked it out. Limited Italian beer, nice wine list. We had the Mista salad comes with a balsamic dressing and the vegitable pizza red pepper mushroom artichoke mozzarella. All delicious. I would recommend. Say Hi to Mossimo!

My wife and I, including our friends, have been eating here since they opened and it’s the closest you can get to true Italian food in the Tampa Bay Area, just above Trattoria Pasquale. Hands down: the best Naples-style pizzas in the Bay Area, right out of their wood-fire oven! You can’t go wrong with any of their pizza. Feels like we’re back in Italy, every time. ***Side note: I don’t know what one reviewer is talking about when they say “we didn’t feel safe here.” The restaurant is in the heart of the Virginia Park neighborhood of South Tampa and it couldn’t be safer. There are literally kids right outside the door riding bikes and families walking around the neighborhood. Go see for yourself and enjoy a trip to Naples, right here in Tampa.

Best calamari I've ever had in my entire life. We drove an hour to get here and it was totally worth it. Truffle pizza, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, everything is so delicious. Hands down the best Italian/Sicilian food I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant three times in the past few months and we can say that this is authentic Neapolitan cuisine. We lived in Naples, Italy for four years and this is the only Italian restaurant that we have found in the 12 years we have lived in the Tampa Bay area that comes close to providing REAL Neapolitan food. I encourage you to discount the lonely low reviews on Google based on silly comments such as “the menu didn’t have pictures of the food”. Don’t be put off, go to this place if you have not already!

Seriously, THIS is authentic and fun Italian food. I absolutely love this couple and the food they make. Here for a routine visit and could only do salad being on keto diet. Even the dang salad!!! No joke… best I’ve ever had. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Basic. Wouldn't get the arancini again but would get the lasagna again. Atmosphere was somewhat pizza parlor ish. Didn't bring out bread to start the meal which most Italian places do.

An enjoyable small Italian restaurant in old Tampa. I think everyone should try it, their charcuterie tray was excellent and the pizza is good. For my taste, the pizza is salty, a bit too salty, but some folks may like it, so it is very much worth trying. The pizza fritta is immense and looks delicious! I would love to try it. This is worth a drive to try.

I went there yesterday with my husband and mother in law it was our first time going there. I loved how quaint the restaurant is, perfect for a first date or just a quiet evening with your loved ones. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I had the Rigatoni alla Genovese and the sausage was so tender and flavorful. The sauce was very great as well. Simona was our server and she's the owner as well, she was very nice and kind. I will definitely be coming back very soon to try the other things on the menu. If you're looking for real authentic Italian cuisine, look no further this is the place to go!

Great food and house-wine, friendly owner-operated neighborhood restaurant. It felt like a little vacation this evening. Their pizza oven is incredible! We each had the Spaghetti ala Carbonera, and we both finished our servings. So full now, but glad we did not split a single order. All kids items on the menu looked like something our kids would like, which is so helpful. The 10" personal kids pizza was just shy of our 11yr old's appetite, but our kids loved the Italian-style pizza. --we got a couple crust bites and agree it was great pizza too!

Authentic Neapolitan! Spent 5 years in Europe eating pizza all over Italy, this pizza was spot on with what I had there. This is the only place in Tampa I’ve found with traditional Neapolitan. Definitely going back!

Staff is very friendly. Pizza sauce needs more flavor. Minimal effort or interest from pizza chef is obvious. More than one basil leaf would have been nice. Grilled and smaller artichoke pieces not fresh from the jar would have been appropriate. Tiny, probably 3-4 oz, of house red wine was a real cheap, low class way to dissuade me from a return visit.

Do not question this restaurant. Go! You will not find another Italian restaurant with food as authentic, outside of Italy. Carbonara is my favorite, but their pizza is amazing. I have tried a ton of Italian restaurants and this is the only place that hits the spot.

Food was amazing. The calzone was incredible. The crust was unlike any I’ve ever had and the cheese was fantastic. My wife had the pasta fagioli and raved about it. Her spaghetti alla norma was great too. She didn’t like that the skin was still on the eggplant, but that was the only critique. FYI, we did takeout for our order. Also, they must have a liquor license now because I saw them serving wine.

Viva Napoli has the ability to transport you to Naples is a few short minutes. The chef is amazing and the specials are must try items and then you can work your way down the menu. Amazing service and food which does not disappoint. Visit early and often for authentic Italian food, wine and beer! This is the real deal! Friendly staff and superb service.

The Broccolini we ordered (delivered) was substituted with Broccoli. They're not the same. The Margherita pizza had no basil on it, but just a few garnishes of spinach leaves. Please don"t assume I'll accept a substitution or something that is not as described on your menu. Your pizzas are great! I just want what I ordered.

Excellent food and service! Molto buono e delizioso! Their food is very authentic Italian: the owner Simona is from Napoli and Chef Andrea is from Sicily. Their sauce is amazing since it is the secret to any great Italian pasta dish or pizza in their stone oven makes it like a Napoli famous pizzerias. Save room for desert as the Sicilian Cannoli is off the chart good!

Great dining experience. We definitely enjoyed all the delicious food and hospitable service. Polpette di carne con Melanzane..eggplant and meatballs was a great start, then followed with the Greca - Napoli that had the perfect mix of veggies, the Crudo e Recola was huge in size and flavors, and ended the meal with Tiramisu which was the perfectly airy and not sweet.

I thought this place was fantastic. The service, food, and experience was great. We did have to clarify that we were not eating meat a couple times as an order of Cuoppo “Viva Napoli” Traditional Neapolitan fried street food Mini fried stuffed arancini, potatoes croquettes which we ordered came out with ham. Probably just the language barrier which caused the confusion. This place has the genuine feeling of a small Italian restaurant ran by Italians. All of the food that was ordered was delicious. All four of us didn't stop talking about how tasty our dishes were. Fresh parmesan upon request. BYOB wine, because you won't find booze here. Salads, pizzas, and Pasta were all bomb. Price was well worth it.

Sadly, maybe it was an off night. But can't say we will be back. Bruschetta was just toast and diced tomatoes barely any flavor. All 3 pasta dishes ordered came way under Al Dente, my Chicken dish were 2 tiny flat medallions in a watery "cream sauce" with some pre cooked potatoes. Tried to look at the bright side but then with those small portions and the price of each time was ridiculous. $20 for a chicken dish... Server was nice and attentive.

(Translation) Really very good and authentic appetizer! (cuddle) Unfortunately, the ordered pizza does not correspond to a Neapolitan pizza.. Did the pizza with raw ham and rocket arrive overcooked or rather burnt, instead of the flakes of parmesan was there some grated parmesan, for pasta? Mozzarella is the typical American cheese that is found everywhere, nothing to do with Italian mozzarella. The whole thing looked more like focaccia than pizza. Too bad because in the photos in the past the pizza looked more like pizza.. After speaking to the owner and pointing out the pizza it was taken off our bill. Gesture that was appreciated (Original) Antipasto davvero molto buono e autentico! (Coccoli) Purtroppo la pizza ordinata non corrisponde ad una pizza napoletana.. La pizza con prosciutto crudo e rucola é arrivata stracotta o meglio bruciata, invece delle scaglie di grana c’era del grana grattugiato, per pasta? La mozzarella é il tipico formaggio americano che si trova ovunque, nulla a che fare con la mozzarella italiana. Il tutto sembrava più una focaccia che una pizza. Peccato perché nelle foto in passato la pizza sembrava più pizza.. Dopo aver parlato con la proprietaria e aver fatto notare la pizza ci é stata tolta dal conto. Gesto che é stato apprezzato
