Really enjoyed the grilled grouper. Great sides. Well prepared and presented. So many cold draft beers to choose from and cool beach vibe. Kathy at the bar was a delight. Will be back!

Had a great sit down meal here while visiting family. Though it was a relatively cooler day the seating area over the water was comfortable and they had an exterior heater. Our server was incredibly friendly and he was very helpful with our drink and food orders. The menu is quite large and there are lots of options. Though one of our party was a vegetarian there were options in the appetizer and the extended kids menu that left her satisfied. Tried the croc tail appetizer which was fried perfectly: not overdone like many of the other places I've been to that have served crocodile meat. Had the frogs legs which were done perfectly with the meat falling from the bone. All the while there was great decorations throughout and great music. There were lovely little touches like baskets shaped like ukeleles. Overall a great place to grab some food, listen to some good music, and soak in some great views!

Great food, great service and great location with a dash of Florida cracker atmosphere! Our server was really impressive - great all around experience. I chose the fish basket with 1 fried and 1 blackened filet and the wife got the Pot Roast. We both agreed the food was a solid 8/10. We will be back as I would like to try out the Jumbalaya next time around. 🤘

Hubs and I visited Ukuleles twice while we were on vacation there in April. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful . Especially their hush puppies. We also got to see one of the baby gators that lives in the lake there 😍 they said his name is Timmy. We sat outside, the area where you see the gator was in the process of being completed. I believe they were adding on to the deck which will be really nice when it's finished I believe. 🌴🐊🍹 will be back again in October, can't wait!

Had to have something local for my first trip to Tampa and that's exactly what Ukuelele Brand's is. It's a local favourite and I can see why. Located lakeside, Ukuelele Brand's is no frills, smells funky as heck, the food is deep-fried, unhealthy and bad for my gluten-intolerance but it's hella tasty and fresh. My favourite of the frog legs, gator bites and garoupa was the gator which goes great with remoulade.

Stopped in on our way home from a long day out. Our group of 5 was met with a smiling face and sat quickly. They have a great menu selection to choose from so there should be something for everyone. We ordered a starter of Gator bites, my husband had the meatloaf, oldest daughter had the country fried steak and I got the 1lb of peel and eat shrimp with a loaded baked potato on the side to share with my 11 year old daughter as she wasn't very hungry. The order arrived at our table quickly and presentation was great but the food was even better and the portions were pretty large. We spent 100.00 on a dinner for 5 so the prices were fair as well. We will be back.

Come early for best seating. We can't wait for the new deck to be dinner ready. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Delicious food, good atmosphere and beautiful water views. I had rainbow trout which was cooked perfectly, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. I was pleasantly surprised...it was really good. Cathy my server was awesome, attentive, kind and wore a face mask. Correctly! We will be back. I definitely recommend.

Small restaurant on a lake. Food is pretty good. Parking lot is in bad shape. Dirt and gravel with ruts and potholes. Live music in the evening. Recommend the Fisherman BLT for sandwich. We enjoy this spot and would give it a 5 if not for the parking area.

We've been here many times. Food is always good, prime rib is awesome. Atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Our only complaint is, it gets a little hot in the dining area. Not sure if the AC wasnt working or not

This restaurant and bar has both indoor and outdoor dining. I am a chicken wing fan, and Ukuleles was recommended to me by a local seafood restaurant that only had breaded wings. I am so glad I followed their recommation! My friend and I sat in the covered outdoor dining area with a sweet view of a lake that Ukuleles is at the shore of. They also have indoor, air conditioned dining. I uploaded pictures of the menu, which had a wide selection of food. I ordered chicken wings wet with mild Buffalo sauce and my friend couldn't pick her sauce, so the server brought her wings with 3 different sauces on the side. That solution worked out well for my friend, who dipped her wings into a different sauce with every bite, and enjoyed it. My wings were yummy, perfectly good, juicy and meaty -- yummo! The server was friendly, smart, clever at figuring out how to accommodate my indecisive friend, fast, checked on how we were doing regularly-- her name is Sam. We met the owner on our way out, who was also very friendly. Ukuleles has free off-street parking for customers. It is a little tricky getting out onto busy SR 41 if you heading north but relatively easy if sober and heading south. I was sober, by the way! Next time I am in the area, I plan to stop in again!

We stopped at this restaurant today after church. We have been there before. My husband and I both had the seafood soup which was chock full of seafood and very filling. I had the Marjorie Salad which was mixed greens , bacon, tomato, red onions, crumbled blue cheese topped with grilled white meat chicken. It was very good. My husband had Jambalaya over linguini which he could not finish and we brought home in a doggy bag. He said it was very good. Atmosphere was relaxing but service was very slow. We will return. This restaurant is on a small lake. We ate outside. There was a small alligator and a turtle in the water near the dock.

This place is one of a kind. The food is superb. We had the frog legs and gator bites. It was my first time eating frog legs and I was a bit hesitant. They were actually pretty good. The gator bites were definitely sone of the best I’ve had. There was a band playing outside. The bartenders were super friendly.

Great food, great service, quality and definitely quantity at a reasonable price. I think I got twice the fried gator that you'd get at a chain restaurant for the same or lower price. All the food was delicious and arrived hot, and our server was amazing.

Really good burgers. Cajun chicken pasta is chicken pasta with Tony's sprinkled on top. Nice outdoor seating. I recommend finding a fan. Good Guinness.

Gator and grouper. To chilly and burgers. Gator bites as an appetizer. Then I couldn't eat all my grouper. Even though they were large chunks of juicy fish with a light batter. That upset me because when they closed for renovations. All i could do was dream. When they opened back up I got grouper bites and chili to go.

Everything was absolutely amazing here, from the service to the music! Even just the atmosphere everything was great. Only downside is the hostess’s… definitely got some nasty looks from the blonde one and the shorter one kept sitting on her phone not helping people and flirting with the bus boy, but that’s not against the store! Just should probably hire better people :)

Always a good time, when my wife and I visit Ukulele. Besides the food, the live band that perform at this establishment makes the atmosphere relaxing and entertaining. It feels like your on the beach, but yet your not. A must visit!!!

We are work camping in the area. I think we just found our favorite restaurant. Staff is very friendly and food is even better! The deck was crowded tonight but we will get here earlier next time to enjoy that. Enjoyed our time here from the moment we walked up until the time we asked for to-go boxes because we were so full. Myself and about 15 other people stopped in for lunch (it was planned with the managers). Needed up getting there about 20 mins before the opened but they were extremely accommodating and allowed us in a little early. Good was great as was the service! Great place!!!

The band Phoenix was outstandingly good and we rocked so hard! My new favorite local restaurant. Reminded my wife and I of our favorite Key West dives (BO's Fishwagon, The Waterfront Market, PT's, etc.) - on the water, excellent seafood (out of nostalgia, I always get the grouper sandwich and it's always good). Huge portions, good service. It's a little pricey but we don't mind supporting a good local establishment serving fresh fish on the water.

The atmosphere was unique, we sat outside and we really liked it. It. The food was extremely good and they have a great menu. I was disappointed in the service as the waitress checked one time right after we got our meals to see how they were. She may have been having a bad day because she was not friendly either. She never refilled beverages or anything else. It does stay busy but it's busy all the time and so I would expect the wait staff was used to it and managed it well. That being said, most of the weight staff seem to be friendly and very busy but attentive. We will go back and I'm sure enjoy our meal and the atmosphere and hopefully we'll have a better experience with our waiter/ waitress.

Ukulele is a very nice spot to eat and hang out. They have live bands on the weekend not sure about during the week food is absolutely fabulous. They are closed on Mondays however open every other day of the week the wait staff and the bar staff are some of the best people that you will meet. It is a regular stop for me if I could give them more stars than five I would. See Russ in the evening see Kathy Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 to 5:00. Kathy is a very awesome bartender I would like to mess with her a little bit so when you come in to the bar say happy birthday every time you come in just to mess with her LOL. Russ takes over after she leaves seriously good people good bartenders freaking awesome drinks come see them. Injoy. Since my location doesn't show me ukuleles again I'm reposting this Friday night Sean scheller he's a good one man band till about 10:00. Come see him if you get a chance may have to wait for a table. I'm going to try to post a short video hopefully it'll come through. Sat night Jaded playing come see. However the smell going to the bathroom is disgusting which they should probably fix. There were multiple people outside talking about how bad it smelled so other people than me are talking about it.

We stopped in for lunch on the way back from the blueberry festival. While it took about 30 minutes to get our food, the wait was well worth it. I got the crab cake sandwich and my Mom got the Coconut shrimp, both were amazing.

We sat at the bar on a busy Saturday late afternoon/early evening. Friendly bar staff gave plenty of attention despite a big crowd. We both had snow crab special. Good value for crab legs. A little over cooked but they were serving lots of specials. Live band started playing outside. We had to leave but would like to go back some weekend a little later to spend more time enjoying the live music. Seemed to have a good and lively crowd with a good mix of ages.

I really liked the nachos and enjoyed the Sweet Asian Chilli Wings but felt it was missing something. On the blander or boring side but hey, I ate my share and would again. My friend eats wings often, many places, many years. He hated these wings. I guess the Sweet Asian Chilli Wings just not for everyone's palate.

We had the fish and chips which were very good. Since this was on the lake, part of the fun is to enjoy the scenery, but the windows were so dirty you could hardly see out of them. Come on, it takes 10 minutes to wipe them down ....where is the pride of ownership? The front door was actually black from the filth. Sorry, won't be back...too dirty.

I loved the location on the lake. Everything was great. Wednesday all you can eat fish; I thought I could eat more than 4 pieces, LOL. My most favorite - the seafood chowder! Whomever made that deserves a raise. I almost bought more; for a late night snack at home. There appears to be frequent live music at night. I need to check that out. The service was great; I think I had Candy. She was bringing me beers before I even had to ask. LOL. She knew when I was done and I didn't have to ask for the check. I also loved the fact that she didn't feel the need to ask me how I was doing every 5 minutes. Some servers think that is customer service; when in reality, it is quite annoying. Thank you.

This was our second visit and the first time the food and drinks were excellent. This time a little overcooked on the hush puppies and fried shrimp and the cocktails were definitely very light pours. But everybody was super friendly and very responsive.

Great food, great atmosphere, good beer options, people rave about the lobster dip but I thought it was too rich. The prime rib on Friday is pretty good. They have really good fish options. They have a Cajun pasta that really good and it's a lot of food for not a bad price. It has become our new default place to go out or eat.

Just wanted to tell how great of experience we had on Sunday at Ukulele in Land of Lakes. This was the first time after 1 year of staying home. The food was great and some of the coldest beer in town. The atmosphere was just as good as before. What made the visit the best was our waitress Sam. She was one of the best that we have every had anywhere. We never had to wait a minute to long for service. If you go make sure you ask for Sam you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic everything. Jambalaya- perfect. Seafood chowder-perfect. Service-Sam ( a lady!) Perfect! It was very busy with a popular band playing and about 15 minutes till the kitchen close. Very crowded by myself so I thought well 10 minutes to get anyone to come to me. Waitress who was serving the table in front of me I kind of eyeballed her over to me and she said no I'm not your waitress and then I said well I know the kitchen closes 15 minutes I'll tell you what I want right now if you can be my waitress and she said "go for it" and was VERY helpful the entire time. Bravo Sam!

I bring my mom out every weekend for lunch and most of the time get the same server . Her name is Isabel and she is a genuine pleasure to be around. She is an outstanding waitress and does her craft proud. She treats her customers like they are the only ones she is serving. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for great food,large portions and outstanding service when getting back out from this pandemic.

Drinks are not the best. The food is ok. I do love their cajun pasta. That one is great. Their burger is pretty good. I believe the one I've had is the Yute burger. Great live music on the weekends. A bit loud if you sit outside and are looking to converse with the people at your table. It is very convenient for us as its close to home. We go very often. I would definitely recommend. Its a regular go to for us. Not the best ever but a solid choice for a weekend dinner close to home.

The view is really nice, and I like the atmosphere a lot. However, the food is nothing special. It seems like an awesome hangout for those aged 50+, which unfortunately isn't me. Also, there's been multiple wasps inside the outdoor dining deck that's on the water the last 3 times we've been here. I wish it was better since we live so close and it's a locally owned business, and there's nothing terrible about the place, it's just average besides the view, which is really nice.

So starting off our server (Sam) was amazing. I checked the reviews before hand and saw everyone talking about how good the seafood chowder and gator tail was. So I tried it. The seafood chowder in my opinion was super bland so I dont get the hype around it. The gator tail was good but the gator to breading ratio was definitely off (too much batter). My s/o ordered a bowl of chili and that too needed seasoning. Would've given 2 stars but the service and the outside view are really what carries this place.

We come here with our friends at least twice a month. Love the food, atmosphere and live music! Even though we have a large group of people, we have always received fast friendly service. The owners are usually on site making sure all the customers are well taken care of, they work really hard right along side their employees. I've heard great things about their live music. I must have come on a bad night. The live blues was over modulated and extremely loud. We sat at the end of the covered dock, and the music was still a distraction. Take away the boisterous music and the dock was fantastic. It helped entertain the grandson. However, I won't judge a restaurant by their band. The misses had fried grouper and sang its praises. The grandson said the chicken fingers (which were friggin huge) were on point. I ordered the grilled grouper stuffed with shrimp and covered in lobster sauce... MIND BLOWN! From the waitress down to the food porter, the service was attentive and professional. I was extremely impressed.

4 stars for food, and I'll be generous and say 3 stars for service. Best place around for fresh tasty seafood. The hush puppies and the peel and eat shrimp are always on point. I've had the Saturday special snow crab legs a few times and they are delicious and you get a very healthy portion. I've stared longingly at other people eating the fried fish, though I haven't had a chance to order it myself. My advice, though - try to get there early and sit at the bar - the ladies up there always take good care of you. Our last visit, however, was far less pleasant thanks to a waitress who arrived with a poor attitude. We heard her complaining about the fact that we were 2 people sitting at a 4-top, outside table (which is a common occurrence in restaurants that have a lot more large tables than they do small ones) and it was downhill from there. The manager made things right in the end, and we'll definitely be back - but I'll make sure to find a waitress who's not looking for something to complain about before we even order our food!

Normally love this place. Good food, great service. Today? Not so much. Our waitress, Angie, was awful. 20 minutes after we sat before she came to get our drinks. We had time by then to decide what we wanted so we placed our order. She told us because they were busy it might be awhile. Tables around us that sat after us got their food. Us? Not so much. Food finally came out but we had to ask other waitresses four times to grab her so we could get drinks. Fiinished eating and took another 20 minutes to get our bill. Asked for to go drinks. Never saw her. Waited 30 minutes and finally just left. Very disappointed.

We have been coming here for years and really enjoy the food. Atmosphere is nice since it is on the lake and staff are friendly. Night time is a bit different though since they have a band playing a few nights a week. So, if you want a quiet dinner while sitting outside this isn't the place. I'd check to see if there is a band before visiting at night. Bands tend to play classic rock so if you're into that this is your place. Older crowd (45+) at night but the place fills up on Fridays and Saturdays. Overall, great place to eat and have some drinks.

So glad we finally checked this place out! Definitely a one of a kind spot, on the water with great live music and when I say live music, I'm talking a concert! IT"S LOUD! The food was always top notch. The ribeye was perfectly seared golden brown, the veggie mix was nice and containted brocolli, cauliflower and greenbeans. The seafood chowder was addicting! I could eat a pint a day of that stuff. This will be a regular spot for us!

This is a restaurant and bar situated on a lake. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. It's a family friendly establishment with live music outdoors. They have seating indoors and outdoors. We found it one night, while doing a google search for waterfront restaurants with live music. It said that the closing time was 11pm so we checked out the menu online and decided to give it a try. We arrived at 8:45pm not realizing that the restaurant portion of the business actually closed at 9pm. The bar closes at 11pm. Regardless of that, the staff invited us in and there was no issue with cooking our orders even though the kitchen was about to close. That type of customer service goes a long way in this day and age. I will definately return when I visit that part of Florida again.

We had the best night tonight at Ukuleles. Hands-down the best restaurant in Land O Lakes. The food is always consistently good, the drinks are great, The atmosphere is awesome. The music tonight was unbelievable. Ukes definitely needs to ask EMMET STEVENS back again!!! Fantastic memorable night!!!!!

Though an extremely popular spot, I don't really care for the food. Taste is usually inconsistent. The stuffed tilapia is really good. Most of the time it is busy. Organized events like trivia. Tonight my waitress was on something other than alcohol. Overall, great place to hang out with friends and have drinks.

Friendly service, pricey. Medium well if you don't like bloody steak. Fish sandwich was a little bland, blackened with no taste, but it tasted fresh. Fries were hot. Vegetables near raw, Not even Al dente. Gater tail nuggets, no taste. Otherwise the experience was pleasant. The live music was good, ended at 11:30. 😴 All in all, the experience was not worth $78. 00. Probably won't go back for a meal.

Grouper sandwich was amazing, all you can eat fish and chips also very good. The view of the lake was nice, loved the waiters went here twice enjoyed both experiences. I'm glad this place exists and wish I'd brought the kids here earlier. The only complaint is when it comes to hamburgers or that usual stuff you see in every restaurant there is nothing special here, so focus on the fish and fresh things they source locally they blow it away in that department.

I had a patty melt that was so greasy the bottom bread fell apart and grease went through the basket paper and onto the table. The onion rings were light and crispy, just the way I like them. The restaurant is nicely situated on the water. It is an American diner and prices match the food accordingly. The service was good.

Local watering hole in land o lakes. This is a stapel in our community. If you want live music, a midnight pick me up, or just a place to eat peacefully in the afternoon while over looking the lake this is your spot. They got plenty of food to choose from, but if you are there on a Saturday try the snow 🦀! For starters the seafood chowder and gator bites are my go to's.They have a fully stocked bar and some of the prettiest girls in land o lakes working it.

We've gone there a bunch after our softball games. It has such a relaxed and casual family feel. Great beer selection and better than expected food/menu. Some nights bands play or they'll have open mic night. Mackenzie takes good care of us. I had a pitcher of Yuengling and a delicious special, a roast pork sandwich, and it was only $4.95. Great deal, great place!

Sat at table with my parents for 20 minutes before even seeing our waitress when she finally came over she was not a very happy person. Brought out the wrong drinks,cut my father off from ordering the rest of his meal as well as myself. I had to ask her to come back to me to finish ordering my meal. The table behind us where so drunk that they were cussing to the point of which I was just done with listening to the filth coming out of his mouth. Food however looks wonderful.

Went there mainly to get a few drinks & listen to live music. Chicken quesodillas had almost no chicken & were chewy (not in a good way). We stick to a few go to items on the menu & are usually OK. Staff are super friendly and you can see they are working hard to make for a good customer experience. I just wish the food was better.

We go.there with a medium size group for early Sunday dinner. Service is fast, efficient, with care and a smile. If a band is playing they can be too loud. We don't go.there for the entertainment but to enjoy dinner with friends. There about 10 to 15 couples so they always have a space for us.

Server friendly, patient, helpful and happy but food was not so good. My shepherd pie was very dry, had no gravy or garden peas and was cold. Exchanged that for pot roast and it was better, came with good gravy and potatoes but meat was cut incorrectly so it was tough. May return but not soon.

Wanted to report back that the jalapeño poppers are back🙏having gone for over 15 years we were so disappointed when they switched to something commercially made but now they’ve returned to the menu. Cooked my steak exactly how i like it, mashed potatoes were great. Also ordered the loaded potato skins, they were a little over cooked and dry but still tasty. Boyfriend ordered the lobster mac and cheese it was small portioned for the price of it but he said it was pretty good and filling so i guess that works. Will come back.

There are so many good things about Ukulele Brands to mention them all. The food, the servers, the atmosphere,. On weekends when live bands are playing, the mood is upbeat and a great way to relax and have fun. The rustic decor is awesome and sits right on a lake where we can enjoy the sunset. My husband loves the prime rib and my favorite is the fried fish. I plan on bringing family members here when they come to visit.

I have never been to Ukulele Brand's but I've wanted to go for a while. That said, I was underwhelmed. Ukulele's is a small, locally owned restraunt on a lake with both indoor and outdoor seating. While our server was attentive, she never once asked us if everything was fine. Any extra item I needed I had to ask for. She brought us a Styrofoam fold over box for Guy's leftover Jambalaya. The bus boy caught the mistake and offered a sealable bowl. Make that bus boy a server! We had the crab cakes as a appetizer. They were small in size, mushy and both Guy and I said they tasted more like tuna than crab. I ordered the Ukulele burger. I was impressed by the size and the amount of bacon, mushrooms, fried onions and blue cheese. The flavor was very good. I would order it again. The onion rings, not so much. Honestly there isn't much you can do to improve frozen veggies. Guy ordered the jambalaya. He received a large portion size. It was hot, not to spicy, and filled with loads of shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage. He almost always finishes his meals at the restraunt, but this time he had some left over to take home. (He said it was even better the next day.) I don't know if we will return, but there were some other items I would be interested in trying if we do.

We actually asked our Lyft driver about good places to go because we were driving up to Crystal River. He recommeneded this place real quick and I can understand why! This is a good choice if you are in the Land O Lakes area. Unlike Wesley Chapel, Land O Lakes doesn't have an extensive selection of restaurants. The atmosphere is very laid back and it reminds me of the Florida Keys. The staff is friendly and the food is tasty.

We had the shrimp basket which was okay but did not really meet my expectation. It was almost like buying frozen food like Gorton's shrimp the you can buy at the supermarket. The fries were comprable to maybe Burger King which tastes like processed fries and not natural. I will give five stars for the coleslaw it was excellent. I can't speak for the rest of the menu as I have not tried it. But the shrimp was not up to par in my opinion. Service was good though.

Fantastic food EVERY time! Best chicken tenders anywhere, great burgers, awesome quesadillas, amazing regular and sweet potato fries; I could go on and on. The decor is bright and beachy with rainbow colored parrots and ukuleles everywhere. There's an outdoor and indoor area and it's on the water. Apparently, the seafood is amazing, too. Highly recommended!!

We visited Ukelele's for the first time. We requested seating on the patio since we had our German Shepherd with us. We waited for a table to be cleaned, and we were by passed. When we were seated, NO ONE approached our table. While 2 servers went the table before us and behind us. We waited 20 minutes before we asked the hostess if there was a server for our table. After acting surprised, she took our drink order and stated that the server would be right over. 8 more minutes passed before he showed up, stating no one told him he had table!!!😱 Which is ridiculous since he was at the table next to us. NO ONE came to our table to ensure our meal was correct. We were NOT impressed and will not be back.
