Amazing burger spot for lunch with a great vibe! These folks are knocking it out of the park! Delicious bacon cheeseburger with all the trimmings. Thick and juicy! Philly cheesesteak style fries are phenomenal. Loaded fries are great too. This place needs to be on your radar for a great cooked to order burger. Do not sleep on this place, get here.

Heard about this place and finally went. Ordered the regular burger. Had a nice crisp texture on the burger but not overcooked, veggies were good, buns were lightly toasted. It was def tasty. Can't wait to come back and try the gourmet burgers!!!

Best burger I’ve tasted in Tampa so far. Had to hit this spot twice to be sure it wasn’t a fluke! Ground beef was well-seasoned, bun was toasted, ingredients were fresh…there were enough burger options to add variety, without being confusing to new customers. Loved the borderline inappropriate material on the walls. Customer service was welcoming! I’d definitely recommend this place!

This was an enjoyable burger. Juicy, well cooked, bun was dry and not slimed up and soggy, and it came out exactly the way I wanted it. Fries were golden and crispy as one would hope. The young lady at the front was a breath of fresh air and kind to everybody who came in the door. Had some real neighborhood charm which I loved. My only critique would be cleaner tables. They weren't very clean at the time. We'll absolutely return when I get a craving for a good burger and fries.

The food was excellent. I got the double 🥓 cheese 🧀 😋 burger 🍔. Don't mistake the onion Thangs for onion rings... lol like I did.(they were still good) sliced onions 🌰 with a little crisp 👌. I also got the pizza 🍕 burger 🍔, which is a burger 🍔 Patty slapped between 2 slices of garlic 😋 bread 🍞 withe the 🍕/ tomato 🍅 sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella 😋. The fries 🍟 😋 are great you can get them with/out cheese 🧀. If you leave there hungry, you wasn't looking for a great burger and fries to start off with. This place is for down to earth 🌎 people who are hungry and not a snooty atmosphere. The staff is great 👍🏼, the for, is excellent.

Honestly the best burger I’ve ever had, and I say that as someone who used to live in Tampa, moved away, and tried a million other burger places. Nothing ever compares. And I’m happy to say I have finally returned after four long years. It’s just as good as I remembered it. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. This is THEE SPOT.

I got the tangy bbq bacon burger, but made it a triple stack. My daughter got the turkey club, my son got the pizza burger, and my wife got the doughnut burger. Everyone got fries but my wife and I shared loaded fries. The burgers were a bit overcooked compared to how I like them, but the food was still great. The prices were pretty good too. We'll be back.

Great find if you like your burgers well done. They're juicy, flavorful and inexpensive, but they're only cooked well done. The seating and parking are limited but if you're wanting a good burger, it's worth a visit

So glad we found this spot. Loved the atmosphere and the comedic decor. The burgers and fries were awesome along with the music playing inside. The challenge wall was dope! My girls and I loved it and felt it was a great way to end our visit to Tampa!! Thee Burger Spot rocks!

It doesn’t even seem neccesary to review Thee Burger Spot, I think they’ve proven their point… ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS IN TAMPA. Their variety of options, the flavor and cook on the patty, the mom-n’-pop-shop ambiance, this place has it all! Also, they don’t upcharge you or try to squeeze the money out. They know what they are worth, and charge you a little less than that just to keep you coming back. 10/10

It's not spot where you will be amazed with new pictures and fancy new look of the restaurant, but when you try their burgers, they will take you in the multiverse, very delicious and rich, I'll be back but next time with more friends.

Ordered through Uber Eats because the wait time was short. Didn’t even check reviews first. I ordered a double cheeseburger and steak fries. That was a rookie mistake. The burger patties are HUGE! Next time a single all the way. It is a seasoned patty which was not unpleasant, just surprisingly different. But the steak fries were something that I’ve never had and now I feel like I can’t live without! They were amazing! The food was also delivered hot! Just delicious!

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but wow it's amazing. The staff are friendly and the menu has a lot to offer. I am a travel nurse working in the Tampa area and I just wanted a yummy, juicy, burger all the way. But when I tried to order "all the way" at this place it includes so much more than the average burger joint. But they fixed me up perfectly and gave me free fries. And it was so good. I couldn't even take a picture because I had burger juice running down my hand. If you get the chance to try this place do it.

A great small neighborhood place that is very popular. Only about 4 tables, and heavy foot traffic at the ordering counter. The burgers we had were all excellent, and there are numerous specialty burger options. Good crinkle-cut fried. And the onion rings were really tasty, sort of a shoestring style.

Hands down THEE best burger in Tampa! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We came from Wesley Chapel to give them a try. Cooked and flavored perfectly. Huge patties. Prices were amazing. I saw this as I used to consider another burger joint the best. ( I won't name any names, but if you pull into the Harley parking lot, you know what I'm taking about.) Even more so, the service was top notch. Friendly crew, who actually talked, smiled, and enjoyed theirs customers. Do yourself a favor, and check them out for real! You won't be disappointed at all.

Really good, juicy burgers with some crazy toppings. The onion thangs are excellent as well. Lunch rush can get a little busy and there is limited seating available. Recommend coming no later than 11:45 on a weekday if you want to get a table.

I feel cheated that I hadn't discovered this gem of a burger paradise until yesterday. There are so many options to choose from it's almost overwhelming but I decided to go with the daily special which was a quarter pound cheeseburger, an abundance of fries and a can of Coke for the phenomenal price of only $7. They have a sign hanging that says it all, "We don't serve fast food, we serve fresh food as fast as we can". This is absolutely true as my cheeseburger was fresh, juicy and very flavorful. Looking forward to going back and trying another one of their delicious options.

OMG this place was awesome! For such a small place, the food was REALLY good. Husband had the bacon double cheese burger and I had cheese fries. When I picked up the burger box oh my word, it was so heavy! If your in that area stop by you will NOT be sorry.

Oh my gosh. So amazing! High quality ingredients with some unique touches. The guy working the counter was a doll, kind and helpful. The place is very small and VERY popular so be prepared to eat in your car.

I got Thee Tangy One. Good burger. Most burgers are 6-8 dollars. They offer chicken options and other options. They have fries and other sides. There is seating inside and out, but it is limited.

Took a chance eating something I normally wouldn't and I was pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a lot of variety options. This particular burger is only offered Friday and Saturday. Highly recommend it.

There devil crab cakes are soo good they are usually sold out by 12:15. First time shopper life time customer. Absolutely the best burger joint I've ever had the pleasure to visit. The home made lemonade is delicious. The lady that took our order was sweet and kind. The place is clean and friendly. Very enjoyable atmosphere. I had the creamy one very delicious especially if you like peanut butter. There fries come fresh and unsalted I love that. Most places I have to request no salt. They do have a table with salt shaker n pepper shaker and ketchup. All I have to say after all that is if you want to try the best burger EVER than this place is 4 U.

This is truly currently one of Tampa's most precious jems. There aren't too many places that offer a really good burger at a price that doesn't break the bank. This place DOES! Im talking a REAL burger, fries and a drink for under $10! Let me get started. They have traditional patty burgers as well as some creative spins that keep you coming back. Even though I prefer the more traditional burgers, I still ate here 3 days in a row for lunch (it's that good!). When you get a burger from here its put together with skill and care so the final product looks like it should be in a commercial. You won't get some slapped together mess that is less than satisfying and looks worse than I explained. My current vice here is the bacon cheeseburger. It comes with mayo, lettuce, onion and a pickel on top of the bun so you can keep it or flick it. Ketchup and mustard are conveniently set on the table behind where you order but honestly I've forgotten to put K & M on a few times and the flavor of the amazingly seasoned patty doesn't even need it. Make sure to get a frozen lemonade with your order to make your meal that much better. The lemonade is guess what... DA BOMB! This place replaced an old gyro and sub place I used to go to and I liked them but this place blows them out of the water. I could keep going on and on but you get the idea. Check out Thee Burger Spot. You won't be disappointed. And if you are, more for me. 2 thumbs up. 5 stars. Keep up the great work guys.

I've been to several independent, gourmet burger places. This is one of the best! Most indie burger places give you one thin, well crafted Patty. this place gives you two full patties for 6! a full meal! Also, The Onion thangs are delicious. There's no seating for dining, only take out. And they have limited hours, so don't go late.

Good burgers at a cheap price. It's everything you want from that local/divey burger joint atmosphere. Minimal seating, but there are a few picnic tables outside. Food was decent but could have been better. Bun was kind of hard, more seasoning but this is during Covid-19 so I will revisit to get full experience.

The staff are friendly and the burgers are very big and pretty good I just believe they would be better if the beef they used has better quality. They should really consider using another beef distributor like maybe the one burger culture uses because I can tell the beef they used just doesn't have the best quality at all. I like that this is a black owned place though that's why I gave no less than 3 stars.

Tampa, if you aren’t visiting these guys, you’re missing out. We stumbled upon this gem on vacation, only to find out that they’ve got Carolina ties. Off the top I knew they were great people, who serve even better burgers! Even got 2 free pieces of cake (which were delicious) just because we visited. Very gracious/humble people who will feed you till wobble away. It’s that southern hospitality. Definitely will be back, next year, and hope they can squeeze time in for a family photo. South Carolina, if you’re in the area, passing thru, or just wanna get away to Tampa, go see them. Oh, and get Thee Big Boy, and one to go as well!

We were looking for a place to try near the airport and we find Thee Burger Spot. Personally, I hope you find it as well as this place is packed with some hearty goodness. Just off the I-275 highway, the place is small but the minute you walk inside, there are plenty of people waiting to pick up their orders and seating is limited. Initially, the menu is on the wall with all sorts of Burgers and crazy signs, some with twisted humor. I was going to try something called the Big Boi, their monsterous burger, but most of us got the Big Bacon Double and all burgers come with small fries. After a few minutes, we started eating and POW,the burger size alone was immense as this is not a small burger by any means. About 3/4 of the way in, I was getting full and the Strawberry Lemonade helped achieve that. The fries hit the Spot on top of that. Not the most glamorous, but don't let this place fool you, it's packs a huge flavour!!

I live 2.5 hours from this AWESOME restaurant. I can't seem to go more than about 4 weeks without the donut burger. Hands down , the BEST burger I have EVER ate. I wish they were closer because I would be there few times a week . Keep up the good work yall. And thank you for the best hamburger I could ever want . Found this gem almost by accident and saw the rave reviews on google, so I suggested it to my husband. Well, we drove 30 minutes to get there for a late lunch/early dinner. We were not disappointed! Interior is humble and simple, burgers are mouthwatering! My husband and I ordered the Smokin' Joe and the Tangy BBQ Bacon burgers and split them (so we could each try both) along with free fries and an additional order of Loaded Fries. Wow. Two bites in, my husband closed his eyes and made a happy face. I asked if we would be driving 30min for burgers more often and he nodded contentedly. These burgers are loaded woth well thought-out, balanced flavor but do NOT make grease drip down your hands, which was a highlight for us. We watched the other customers, who seemed to arrive in small batches throughout our visit, and saw them use the salt/pepper/"seasoning" shakers on the table next to the door to flavor their (unseasoned, yet perfectly cooked) fries as they desired, so we followed suit and put salt and pepper in one bag of fries, and "seasoning" (aka old bay) in the other and shook to distribute. Perfect! We can't wait to come back. Everyone we interacted with made us feel like family - they treated every customer that way. Our kids loved everything they tried - including the ice cream. And you just cant beat the prices. We will be back soon!

Just stopped in for my first visit at lunch today after hearing about it from a local. The restaurant is clean and has a decent amount of seating. There are pictures of each burger on the menu strung across the ceiling above the register to help you see what you're getting. The staff greeted me instantly with a smile. I ordered a double bacon cheese burger with fries. My order was up in a few minutes and I headed home to eat. Burger was cooked very well with a nice char on the edges of the patty which added great flavor and texture. They keep this one simple and it's really great for the price. My only criticism was that the fries lacked seasoning and seemed to be kind of an afterthought. All the food was clearly cooked to order and the fries were not bad because they were fresh and hot. They could just use some salt or a house spice mix added to set them apart. I will be coming back here since the burger was great and it's close to my place. Look forward to trying other burgers and the shakes.

First time there. Great burgers and fries for a reasonable price. Pretty fast service considering how many people behind the counter. Great job on there part. When I decide to get another burger I will bypass all other joints on the 20 minutes from where I live to get to THE BURGER SPOT. I did eat outside in my vehicle cause seating is minimal.

Absolutely blown away by this spot that’s less than 1 mile from my house. I was unaware of Thee Burger Spot’s existence for the last 2 years... I should be ashamed. And so should you if you’re reading this and you’ve never been here. After a quick search for “cheap burgers” in my area I stumbled upon this diamond in the rough. A few minutes drive and I was walking into an unsuspecting store front with a hypnotizing aroma wafting into the outside air. The menu is written on the wall, along with the current specials. There are also pictures above the register if you’re looking to see if your budget matches your level of hunger. The service staff was incredible. The food came out in just a few minutes after being cooked to order. I still can not believe for the price point, I had a fresh cooked burger, served with complimentary fries for less than what I would pay a a chain fast-food restaurant.

I got thee bacon cheeseburger with fries and a peach mango kush.The burger was delicious especially them onion thangs they had on the burger made it very tasty. The fries were basic but edible, I had condiments to eat them with. The peach mango kush was good it reminds me of the squeeze cups I had in childhood. The service was good, placing my order was easy and received my food shortly after. I ate my burger so fast I didn’t get a picture but it was 10/10. I will be coming back to Thee Burger Spot and I will recommend it to friends and family.

Idk how I've gone this long not knowing about this place! Food portions are very generous, prices are amazing, food tastes GREAT & the sense of humor is top notch. I love the funny signs all over the place. Parking and seating may be scarce but that's because the place is packed and for good reason! They season their burger patties which is a nice change to the plain beef slapped in bread you find anywhere else. I'll definitely be going back again. And again.

The area isn't the best, so I hope they can expand to other locations, but the food was great and pretty quick for being so fresh. We had the double cheeseburger and the grouper sandwich as well as the cheese fries. I don't recommend the grouper sandwich. The grouper filet is on the thin side compared to most grouper filets I've had and it gets lost in the toppings of the sandwich. The cheeseburger was full of flavor and stacked high. It was a little dryer than I'd like (we eat our burger medium well) but the extra toppings provide enough moisture. I like that they don't skimp on the cheese sauce for the fries, I just wish it was a regular cheese sauce instead of a nacho cheese sauce. It was overall a good experience and we will go back for the burgers

I have been coming to this place for some time now because they have thee BEST burgers in town. After today's visit, they have a new place in my heart. There was a homeless man inside the establishment not causing problems but a little loud. Frank walked from behind the counter with a bag of food and a drink and kindly asked the gentleman to step outside to talk. Now the gentleman immediately assumed he was in trouble and began to apologize not knowing he was being blessed. I want to send a very special shout out to Frank for taking the time to make someone's day. He didn't do it in front of the entire restaurant which could have possibly embarrassed the man. So I went there for my first time this last weekend and after having ordered my food, their biggest burger done up in their species fashion I was informed they had an even bigger burger and so I found myself in line again ordering more food. I attempted the challenge and try as I might I had to tap out having eaten all of the meat (6 giant steaming hot patties and some bacon) and pretty much nothing else LoL but I will be back to try it again because on a whim and getting as close as I did I know I can do it. Hidden jewel. Thee burgers spot offers several burgers with their own names. Most of the time you can decipher what is in the burger but I needed a menu to pick one. Their steak and cheese fries are really good. Burgers are juicy and not dry. They have a crab cake which is also tasty. There’s usually plenty of parking and there is usually a decent line but they move through it fairly quickly. There is a condiment station as well to season your fries. Try not to show up near the end of the day as they do sell out of burgers and will be left disappointed.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place isn't the easiest to spot just driving by, I found it by an accidental Google by voice search while driving and took a 9 mile adventure detour to find it...but, the burger is fantastic and well worth the detour! Tasty burgers with fun toppings options. The service is great; friendly owner and helpful employees. The price point is like $7ish and you get a generously sized, good quality, solid burger on a really yummy bun. My young kids and I all thought our burgers were great and we polished them off quickly. It's not super big, so be aware that seating is limited inside, but there are a few picnic tables outside.

Heard about this place from a friend. Looked up reviews and decided to give it a try. Went on a Saturday and the place was packed. Had the double cheese. Burger was great! Great flavor. I have had a lot of burgers in my life and this one ranks up in the top 3. That's saying a lot. Don't let the place deter you. Everyone knows that the best food comes from the place that puts more into their food than their building and decor. Will be back

Finally got to try this place yesterday after hearing about it and I'm blown away! We ordered pick up on Uber Eats since we drove there from Westchase and the food was ready in 10 mins way faster than expecting so we had to rush as I was worried the food would be soggy and cold waiting for us to pick it up. Well I was wrong! It was still fresh like they made it as soon as I walked in. The staff was friendly and so were the customers probably because you can't be mad with food that good! I got the bacon and cheese double along with the steak fries (cute play on words) and it was ridiculous! The size, the flavor, and the quality of ingredients (bright red tomatoes). These people must love what they do to make a burger this good. I can't even mess around with these other dime a dozen "fancy" burger joints after this... what would be the point when all I'd be thinking of is Thee Burger Spot! Don't think twice..just order and eat. You won't regret it!

Amazing food, staff has a great sense of humor and the prices are excellent. Their burgers are creative and I have yet to have anything from this place that isn’t delicious. It’s now one of my favorite places in town. My only thing is I wish they were open a bit later since I’m a bit of a night owl.

Just ate the best steak fries and red velvet cake from here. I haven’t had this kind of satisfying delicious food in a long time. It was so good I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of it but if you do stop in just ask for the steak fries. My husband ate their steak and cheese sandwich and fries in under five minutes. It’s hard to find this kind of satisfying food for the entire family but you definitely have it here.

So great to see a small, local business that serves some amazing food! Portions are deceiving much bigger than advertised. Got a double burger but should have gotten a single, but I powered through. 😂 Lemonade was the best lemonade I have had in awhile. This is a no frills, local eatery with outside seating so you can bring your dog! They also grilled up a single patty (no bun) for him. All I can say is you need to check this place out. I love the unpretentious vibe. I will definitely be back to try the Philly and probably skip the fries so I can try a shake. Keep it up!

First off, this place isn't selling burgers, they're sell time shares to heaven! Don't let the exterior or the small inside dinning area fool you, this place is a hidden gem for those who don't know the area. We just happened upon it on the way back from the zoo and I'm glad we did. Now I'm gonna be honest, I'm a big man and I can put away some grub when I'm hungry. That being said I opted for the triple patty burger, they have pictures up of their food for easy reference ordering. The picture was very misleading, the burger I got versus the one I ordered had a bit of a size discrepancy. The one that was given to me was way, WAY bigger than the one in the picture! Made this fat man happy! They also have a challenge there involving a six patty burger if you're feeling up to it! Seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had, I'll definitely be swinging through again!

I just finished eating here and I felt it necessary to leave a review immediately. This place is absolutely worth 5 stars. I had The Big Smack and I'm notorious for asking things to be a particular way. No need here. It was perfectly delicious just the way it was. With a side of fries and a frozen lemonade, my total was 7 bucks. I put some season salt (which I am pretty sure is just Old Bay but not complaining) on my fries and then ate outside on the picnic table and while I devoured this thing one of the guys working came out and asked me how everything was. It was fantastic which is exactly what I told him. Definitely glad I have a burger place in the neighborhood that's this stupid good. I'll be back.

Really great, hole in the wall, burger place. First time here and they are busy for lunch hour rush. Love the fun atmosphere of the place. Food was great! The Big Boy is definitely huge! I would advise not eating breakfast if you want to eat the entire thing is one go. Onion Thangs were really good and a fun take on Onion Rings. Fries were good, but definitely need salt. Loved this place A LOT!

The menu has funny things to read while you wait. Pictures of The Bucs from when they have eaten here. This is what you hope a family owned business runs like. I live down this street from Thee Burger Spot and have watched a few restaurants at this location come and go. I decided to give it a try a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely delicious burger and fries for under $6.00! Can’t beat it. Their burger selection is endless and they’re always so friendly. My only caveat is the hours. They close at 6pm. Also, the space inside is limited. Other than that I highly recommend!!!

We were viewing a house today in the area and were looking for somewhere to grab a late lunch and saw this on google. Honestly this is probably one of the best burger shops I have ever, ever been to. My partner got their lunch special. Cheeseburger, fries and a drink and raved about it. I got a grilled chicken breast sandwich and it was immaculate lol. It’s so hard to find a grilled chicken sandwich that doesn’t taste and feel like rubber. I also usually don’t like cheese on them but oh my gracious. Extremely tender but doesn’t fall apart. The cheese melts in the right way and isn’t overpowering and the bbq sauce on it is bomb. The fries are really good too. The staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. Please stop by, you won’t regret it. We currently live in Clearwater but are definitely going to be coming back here before we even move over there.

Great Customer Service and Great Food, What more can you ask for, Right? Well, we got a FREE Deviled Crab, I believe for too many being made and tgey were closing soon. That was so nice of them. I originally tried the cheeseburger with my son who lives in the area. We heard a man order a Grouper sandwich, I love Grouper, so I asked him if I could look at it and asked how it tasted. He and his friend recommended just about everything on the menu, especially the grouper. The cheeseburger and grouper, that I went back for, were delicious. The fries are a must! This is a little hole in the wall place, the crew is great and the food is wonderful. The prices are great.

First of all, never heard of the place. Once I went there, I recognized passing it on occasion. Off my first visit, it's up there on my list of burger places. For one, it's close to me. Two, I like to support locally-owned business. And, three, the food was good man. The beef was so tender it...I'm not going to describe it, because I don't want to mess up people's experience. The family and I wanted burgers before going downtown. I wanted 5G and my wife and son wanted B21 (names withheld) but both were not on the way. My wife suggested we try The Burger Spot since it was on our way. We made the right choice. The Burger Spot is fantastic and inexpensive. I spent about half of what those other two would have cost. I do not exaggerate when I say this is my new favorite burger. Next time, I'm trying the Big Smack. Update: The Big Smack was great but I needed MORE, so the next time we went I ordered a Double Big Smack. It is perfect!

Found on the way to Tampa zoo. Chronic! So chronic. They deserve 8 stars. Definitely try it. I'm sad I wasn't here on a day they had Krispy Kreme bun burgers. Everything looks so good. These Burger's are so juicy and flavorful, there isn't any thing I would change about them. Don’t expect a swanky interior or to be waited on hand and foot. Inside is small, our table hadn’t been wiped down. But the double cheeseburger... well-cooked, juicy, and hella flavorful all the way to the last bite. Fries were strong also, and all for $5. One of the top if not the top burger in Tampa. ... Fast forward about four months and we finally made it back for our second time. Goodness if the burgers weren’t just as good as the first time. The flavor was just as incredible, but what I noticed this time is that they aren’t as greasy as a Five Guys burger for example. I’m crowning this the best burger spot in Tampa.

This is definitely one of the best burger restaurants in Hillsborough county. I went to the Burger Spot this past Saturday for the first time. I ordered the Crazy burger combo for only $5.50 + tax. The employees were friendly and I didn't have to wait very long for my order. I took my food back to work and was very impressed. The first words out of my mouth were, "Oh my God" after my first bite. The flavors and texture of the burger were on point. I also liked how the beautiful young lady at the counter advised me that they don't add salt to their fries but showed me where the salt shaker was in case I wanted to add salt. I have mild hypertension so I'm glad they don't automatically add salt to their fries like most restaurants do. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family and I look forward to trying out other burgers on their menu. Oh, and last thing - they do have a donut burger on their menu if you are feeling adventurous.

The store front doesn't do justice to the food. They serve a darn good burger at a fantastic price. If you couple it with the fresh French fries and a milkshake you're in for a treat! I went with the spicy burger, the clever name of which I've forgotten, and enjoyed it. Leaving my party had but a single complaint; we should have ordered less fries and a milkshake at lunch was worth it but a bit much.

The Big Smack Burger is filled with so much flavor. I love the smack sauce that it comes with and I always order extra sauce to use with my fries. This is probably one of the best burgers that’s I’ve had in a while. Also they have these hush puppies filled with crab meat that are pretty tasty as well.

Best Burger in Town! My husband kept telling me I had to try this place out and he wasn't kidding. The burgers are huge for what you pay and cooked perfectly. I had the Tangy BBQ burger with bacon and couldn't have been more pleased with the ratio of toppings to burger that created a beautiful balance of flavors without any one ingredient overwhelming another. The surprise was the Carolina-style sauce...most places use a traditional Kansas City red BBQ sauce but these guys know that just because everyone else does something, doesn't mean they should. The sauce brought out the perfect flavor of the beef and kept the bacon's saltiness from overpowering the great, crispy Onion Thangs on the burger. Be aware they do not salt their free fries...why should they? They are perfectly cooked and, to my palate, don't need much, if any, salt at all. Besides, O appreciate the allowance to add salt to MY taste. Too many places assume we all want to eat a salt lick. This is a neighborhood joint that respects the community by offering fresh food cooked to order, with a smile and love. You may have to wait, but it won't be too long and oh, so worth it. I will return again and again.

When you walk in, the place could use some housekeeping, I wanted to leave instead of ordering. The posted menu with sandwich descriptions were crazy... plenty of shyt. What can I say! This place is AMAZING! Burgers are to die for. Every time I go I ask what can I eat. Staff is so amazing as well that they always give me something different and completely delicious. Make sure to add the Cajun spice to the fries to have a good kick to it. Seriously, don't judge the place, is a really small place and odd looking building. A local gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Don't be swayed by the bars in the windows. There is always a wait inside because the food is delicious. The burgers are big, juicy and fresh. The toppings are fresh and crisp. The fries are always hot and tasty. The value is incredible. The basic burger and a bag of fries will run you under $5. I love it they have the biggest and most tasting burgers I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, April and the guys were so welcoming. Their energy alone makes the experience but the food was incomparable. Super inexpensive and absolutely delicious. I'm pregnant and my greatest craving is a good burger. This place has the best burger I've had in all of Florida, Vegas, and NY and I've had some great burgers. The meat is seasoned so well and cooked to perfection. The toppings aren't even a must but good Lord were they just as yummy. And the steak loaded fries...OMG! This place is a must. I hoped for so long that the reviews were true. Lord knows I'm glad I came here today. I will definitely be returning and bringing everyone I know. Oh & bonus, if you're the #100 ticket (which seems to happen more than once a day) your meal is free. I was literally 101 so I saw with my own eyes but it was worth every penny lol.

You can get a special which is a burger fries and a coke for 6$. I always regret leaving a review because if more people visit then my wait may increase. But I have to scream best burger for the $$ in the Heights maybe even tampa. You could pile your family of 4 come across the bridge or come in to the city from the burbs cause if you feed your loved ones processed food from the chain burger places vs this freshness you don't love them. This place is unassuming and I wasn't expecting much but we read reviews and decided to give it a try and let me tell you, the food was delicious! Fast service and the place was clean. Staff were professional and friendly. I'll definitely be back. I even went so far as to say, better than Five Guys!

For six months, I drove by a tiny hole-in-the-wall place with a sign that just said "BURGERS." It piqued my interest, and I always put eating there on my to-do list. What a fool I was to wait. On my first visit, I was amazed by the unique selection of burgers available and in awe of the very reasonable prices. From the first bite to the last, it was as good of a burger as I've had anywhere in Tampa. It has become one of my favorite spots in the area. There's something for everyone, and I'm confident that it is all as good as the pizza burger, BBQ burger, and Philly I've already tried. Put it on your list, but put it at the VERY top.

Hands down best burger in Tampa. Some burger selection can be a little over powering but the regular cheese burger of bacon cheese burger are amazing. Steak and cheese is awesome as well sometime bun can be little soggy but it’s a loaded steak cheese so I understand. Fries are nothing special which I think is the only weakness but I’m going to Thee Spot for a burger not the fries. This is the best value in Tampa with every burger coming with fries and under 8 bucks. Amazing I come couple times a month and never disappointed.

I ended up ordering their special of the day. it was A Crazy One burger, fries,& a drink for $5.00. I received a burger, a big pile of fries, and a drink. They don't really have a eating area ..so I took it home, and I'm glad I did, cause that was a Great burger. Juicy, and well dressed and a real bargain for the price!. 3/2019 At their new location...they have some indoor seating and now it is much easier to park. But the great thing is they haven't lost their focus...the burgers are still great!!!

My 1st visit was ok . Friends raved about the burgers I wanted to check it out . They sold a Krispy cream hamburger guys amongst several others . The staff was nice & friendly . The establishment is small , but u can dine in if u choose . They have an extensive menu of tasty treats . All food cooked to order , the wait was 7 minutes the prices are unbeatable .

The only way to improve one is to make it your own with custom toppings. There's nothing to see in this minimalist joint, but oh the places your palate will go once you get that first bite. Confined to my home by COVID-19, I ordered some food from this establishment: Fries, Loaded Fries, and the Big Boy Triple Bacon Cheeseburger. I must warn you, dear readers: do NOT order this burger! It is too late for me, but you can still save yourselves.... I had a hankering for a burger, and a big hankering it was. The thought crossed my mind that I wanted an actually tasty burger as well, so I thought I'd try my luck with somewhere new. After a time, my food arrived, and I dug in. For some reason, I saw the aluminum foil packet and didn't know what it would contain. Perhaps many, many fries. But alas, I unwrapped it.....and immediately realized my error. For the styrofoam box I had cast aside in my thoughts did not contain my burger. Nay; for the Big Boy was too large for any mere box. I lay my eyes on it, and was lost, for how does one eat such a beast? In my folly, I had thought I knew burgers, even triples; for I had had many before this day. But none could prepare me for what I beheld. What faced me was not so much a burger, as one of the Progenitors, the First Ones, of burgers. A thing of myth and beauty....and terror. Somehow I found the strength of spirit to eat, and eat I did. My tongue and stomach sang in full-throated agreement with my eyes: This was a burger of legend, spiced and cheesy and decorated with copious onions. Is it the greatest burger ever? No one can say such a thing for certain. But it does not belong to our world, of that I am certain. There may be others like it, hailing from an age before preservatives and cardboard. I pray I do not meet another, for when it comes to it, it may consume me, rather than I it. Hence my warning. Do not eat this burger, because once you lay eyes on it, all others will be forever wanting. Once you taste it, the flavor of that which you believe is delicious will fade not a small amount. And no burger will ever fill your stomach quite the same way. The fries were good too. Have your own salt.

This is the sort of place that a simple, plain hamburger is still the best burger in Tampa. Thick patty done chopped style, and with the flavor of 5 years’ grilling. I got the Heated One, and it was so dang good. When we pulled up the line was to the door. By the time we ordered it was well out the door. It still only took us 10 minutes or less to have our food, and we got to see some Sheena Easton and Milli Vanilli while we waited. Solid experience. Remember to salt/season your fries before you leave.

I've wanted to try this out for awhile and today the husband and I discovered they changed location and is now within walking distance of our house, so we rode our bikes and stopped in. I've been to to other restaurants that used to occupy this spot before and ate there once and never returned. I've been waiting for, praying for something to move in here and it's finally happened. Folks, I read the reviews and went in with high expectations and they more than delivered. The selection is going to make every one happy. I decided to go with The Tangy One. Made fresh to order and arrived in 5 minutes. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful and called out our name when our food was ready. She explained the fries are not salted so I grab the salt shaker, however to my surprise they didn't need it. How can a french Fri this good be free with the purchase of a burger? So, hubby got The Heated One that comes with jalapeños, ranch, onion thangs and I think bacon and of course The Meat. I had bacon, onion thangs, cheese, heavenly bbq sauce and the meat. Served on a very good quality (yeast) bun I think. Anyway, the meat itself is exactly the way a burger should taste. Don't ask for a temperature, these people know what they are doing. Not greasy, full of flavor. I believe everything is fresh and hand pattied. Well over a quarter pound, maybe 1/2 pound or even slightly larger. We couldn't tell, we just know after we took our first bites, we knew we found Thee Best Burger Spot in Tampa. Btw, the bbq sauce on The Tangy One had me thinking dirty thoughts, it was that good. Go in, order one of their creations, they really got it down. The only thing negative about this place is now I think they might be too close to my house....meh....I'll blame it on the holidays. I had my husband finish mine since I couldn't finish it. They have a sign that says " can your mouth handle all this meat?" Today, I couldn't, but already thinking of what I'll order next and give it a go. Thank you guys for your great food.

In the past year, I've been to Thee Burger Spot 4 times (I don't eat meat very often). Without hesitation, I say they have the best burger / cheeseburger in Tampa. First - they'll cook your burger how you order it - even if you want it rare. It's the juiciest and most flavorful burger for many miles around. It's also super-fresh. I don't know for sure but I'd guess these are hand-patted burgers with never-been-frozen meat. They also come packed with ingredients - sauteed onions, crispy onion strings, lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc. Dee-lish! Okay... a few not-so-great things about this place: First, they charge extra for a little 1-ounce container of mayonnaise. Come on! There's enough people who DON'T want mayo on their burgers - so why charge extra?! Second - their fries are mushy. They're not crispy. They need work. Third - the cheese steak sandwich. It's small and not anything to write home about. Just pass it by. But their burgers... OMG dee-lish. Best in Tampa. Who cares about the other stuff when their burgers are so darned awesome!
