We stopped at this place as we were driving by the area. The take out process was very quick and the staff was super friendly. The food came out in 15 minutes. The Mahi Mahi taco was HUGE! The fillet was tasty and could have easily been shared by 2 people. The Grouper sandwich and the Basa sandwich were both delicious. The portions of fries were a bit too much. The French Onion soup was a bit too salty and the Lobster Bisque was not the traditional Boston one. The Lobster Roll had a lot of meat and was quite delicious. The Crab cake bites were perfect as an appetizer. Overall the food was good.

Friendly service, we had the foot long lobster roll, it was packed with lobster meat, we chose lobster bisque to go with it. It was a very satisfying meal. PS: they have a large selection on their menu

The food was pretty good, I had the fried basa and fries, it was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. It was quite an extensive menu, so I’d try it again with another dish. Our waitress was phenomenal ( I think her name was Linda).

The food is excellent. The quantity is amazing and the prices are fair. I would have gave it 5 stars but the yellow rice that we ordered with one meal, just did not taste good and the fries needed salt, but overall... we definitely recommend this place and we will go back

Friendly service by all the staff. Excellent food portions for sharing if you like. No delays getting food to the table. Varied seafood options. Found them on Google because my daughter wanted to try clam chowder and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Fisherman platter and coconut shrimp to share. Plenty of left overs (recommend air fryer for re-heating). Will go again and take pictures.

We were shown to a booth with minutes of our arrival. The dining area was clean and well maintained. This was our first time dining at the red restaurant. I can definitely add we will return. Excellent seafood, nice portions. Our Oder included the main course with a side item and choice of drink. Wait staff were polite and attentive. The parking area had several handicap spaces.

I LOVE this place! Originally from MA, seafood is my thing. These fried clams, whole bellies (the only way to eat them), are absolutely delicious! Their fisherman's platter, onion rings, I could list the whole menu! Have been here quite a few times & it is always great. Love the staff, service is always timely & very friendly. Reasonable prices also! You must go there!

This is the best seafood I have had in a long time being from up North it remind me of when I was a teenager, the clam chowder was like butter no other fresh creamy just delicious the lobster roll and crab ball was everything and the service is outstanding I will definitely be back!

I love this place as my go to for fresh seafood . Their clam chowder is a meal in itself no skimping on seafood and the fish plate is enough for two . The seafood casserole is plentiful and chocked full of seafood goodness . Oh did I mention the onion rings yum yum . Service is always excellent friendly and helpful. They have outside seating for Covid wary customers . You gotta go you’ll always go back for their specials Thursday is a generous serving of prime rib cooked to your satisfaction !! Ya gotta go us 41 just passed 54 .. just go ☺️

We come here fairly often, but we only order one thing: Lobster Rolls. We've been coming here for years. Actually, we first found it when they were on the other side of town off of BruceBDowns And for years and years we still come here to get our lobster fix. Casual atmosphere. Decent beer selection. Tucked away in the back of a small plaza in Lutz is this hidden gem! Like so many restaurants right now, they are dealing with staffing shortages, but let me tell you, they didn't skip a beat. The servers were attentive, the food came out fast and delicious! I shared the large Fisherman Platter and wow, it was a very generous portion. I honestly think I could have fed our family of 5 with this platter,(3 younger kids). The platter included onion rings that were perfectly crisp, some of the best clam strips I've ever had, fried scallops, incredible fried shrimp, fried haddock, beautifully golden fries, and coleslaw to help balance out all the fried food! Other people at my table had gator bites, shrimp scampi over linguini, clam strips, fried catfish. Everyone praised the quality of the service and the food. This is definitely a new local favorite for our family.

First off service was excellent not once did I have to ask for a refill our waitress is very intuitive, secondly The wait time for our food was short, lastly the food was delicious the seafood was fresh I grew up along the coast so I know fresh seafood when I eat it... My husband And I shared the large seafood platter and left with enough food for both of us to share again. It was a nice find tucked away in land o lakes/ Lutz

UPDATE: 2/2/23 Wonderful fried shrimp dinner tonight. Thank you! Haven't been in this area for 3 years. Stopped by this restaurant again 09/15/22 and it's still great!!! The fact that they have more than 4 stars and survived the Pandemic says it all! Great job, keep up the good food! Wow, this place is a gem! We could not resist and tried multiple items, fried green tomatoes, crab cake bites, fried plantain, clams, shrimp, scallops, fish, calamari, onion rings, every item we tried was delicious down to the green beans and cole slaw! Do not pass up trying this place out! The sea scallops were my favorite! Oh yes, and the service was as great as the food, fast and friendly!

Sue our server was so nice. Place was clean and beer was ice cold on tap. Got a huge fisherman platter which was enough for 2 of us. Had a very good time on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Nice local place! Note that Great Catch does not serve liquor but does have beer and wine.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Had the footlong lobster sub (came in two smaller subs) and the lobster bisque. I know lobster isn't cheap, but the subs were rather expensive for the size of them. Really don't think the two of them put together were really a foot long. Picture on the menu was a bit misleading in the actual size, but they tasted great. Service was a bit off. The drink I had asked for was forgotten about until the server came back to take my food order and the server realized I didnt have a drink yet. (A table seated after me got their drinks well before me). I decided to have a sangria instead (which was amazing), but the drink was again forgotten about when my check came and it was on the check despite me never getting it. They fixed it without issue though. Wasn't a busy night, maybe 4 tables including me had guests. Not a big deal though, servers were nice and overall enjoyed the restaurant.

First time coming here, nice place ! Our server was so friendly! You can eat in the restaurant or outside, we opted for outside. The prices are a bit high but it is a seafood spot, the lobster linguine and the lobster stew in garlic breat taste exactly the same only difference is one in on pasta the other on bread. We had green fried tomatoes, fried pickles and fried mushrooms which were all very good. Had a basket of fried shrimps and calamari everything had the aame taste one note, sweet potatoes were very good. We just may return again

I had the shrimp casserole with sweet potatoes fries and coleslaw. My husband ordered the mussels. My food was great! I loved the white sauce in my shrimps, it was delicious! My husband on the other hand didn't like the broth the mussels had, he said it was too salty. He ended up dipping the mussels in the shrimp sauce. The service was good, friendly and fast. The place is not big but they have outside seating which we liked best. They serve only beer and wine, fyi. I recommend this place for a casual atmosphere night out.

Friends brought us here while visiting from Michigan. Scallops, shrimp and everything else was cooked perfectly and huge portions of you get the dinner! Waitress was very formal and had great manners!

This was one of the best diners I've been to in Florida, let alone Lutz. Amazing vibe and adorable, nautical decor, super affordable prices, and fantastic service. Our server was so sweet, and answered every one of our questions amazingly! The friend I came with had never tried mahi mahi before, but loved the mahi mahi there. The salmon and sweet potato fries there are incredible as well. Highly recommend!

Great service, unpretentious, great food. Tuesday is all you can eat Mahi-Mahi. They give you A LOT. Hubby got it blackened and it was phenomenal!!! I ordered the fisherman's platter because I wanted some variety, but once I tried his Mahi, I kept eating it. Fabulous Cole slaw, too.

Service was very good. I got the Fisherman's Platter and it was very good (and enough food for lunch the next day). My wife got the crab legs. The only issue with her meal is that the drawn butter for the crab was a nasty brown color (maybe it was burnt?) and had some weird particles at the bottom. It tasted strange. Not the end of the world, but when we told the server it took quite a while to get some new drawn butter and when we showed her the difference between the two bowls, she seemed rather nonchalant about it. She should have seen that something was off with the first bowl. Still a good meal and good service, we will definitely go back.

I love this place; the best seafood around. I always get the Fried Shrimp Basket; so tasty. It can be busy, the dining room is small but they do great carry out and there is outside porch dining too.

Let's start first by saying our server Anika was the sweetest. The food was fresh and cooked beautifully. There is a large selection of many options which made it hard to choose. The seafood casserole smelled heavenly and my hunny loved the Gator bites so much so I couldn't get a picture. I'm from Maryland and I'm very bias about seafood. I enjoyed this experience and am interested in trying more things on the menu.

All you can eat SHRIMP & SIDES! The fried shrimp was good & to my delight, the sides for an all you can eat night were included! Nice move, Great Catch! The grilled cheese & tomato sandwich was gooey & buttery, just like it should be! I love this place, glad to see a local haunt busy!

We had an amazing lunch today. Service by Laura was outstanding. Food was great - as New Englanders, a real Lobster roll is a true craving and The Great Catch never disappoints! The onion rings are just like my favorite spot from back home. We tried the linguine with shrimp and sea scallops, a new choice for us, and it was delicious as well! We usually get take out (which is always yummy), but really enjoyed dining in today - such a great mid-week treat! Thank you for bringing a great taste of New England to Florida and for the terrific service!

Service was great our server was fast and friendly an offered recommendations.food was decent, don't get me wrong not bad at all. But for me the Calamari, and the Lobster Rolls we got didn't taste all that fresh or flavorful. Not saying that the food was spoiled it was not it was decent. But when I drive to a coastal city I just thought it would be fresher. Would I go again? yes. But would I drive out of my way? No. So in conclusion if your in the area, give them a shot. Who knows you might even enjoy the more than I did.

The coconut shrimp dinner with two sides (fries & onion rings). Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly. The food is amazing. The batter used on the shrimp, fries, and onion rings were all different and equally great. The quantity of food you get is equal the price you pay. We all know seafood is pricey but this place does it justice. I will return and have more wonderful meals.

I've never been to a fresh seafood restaurant before. I was disappointed in the lobster it was small and not what I expected. The best part of visit was Miss. Sue our server. Great place for a variety of seafood options. I've never dined in yet, but their take out is quick. Orders have to be placed over the phone, but usually, no matter how much food I order or how busy the restaurant is, my order is ready in 20 minutes or less. Friendly staff as well.

So being from the Northeast originally… I have eaten my share of clams (bags of steamers) at clambakes over the years and I have never eaten Ipswitch clams. Well tonite I did. When our server brought them out, I was startled - let’s just say - they looked a bit rough, darker and had a different texture than the middle necks I have eaten over the years. I questioned the owner - Joseph where they were from. I thought perhaps Gulf coast of FL? He assured me they were from the waters in Maine- I was skeptical until I did my research. Joseph was so concerned I was questioning the origin of these clams, he removed the steamers off our bill - told him was not necessary, so Joseph thank you and the clams actually were very good and I would order them again. I was not aware they existed. My wife and I also ordered the green tomatoes and salmon dinners - it was very good service was prompt and will eat there again ! Thanks again !

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now because I’m from the New England area. I was skeptical at first because it’s hard to find a good lobster roll but this place is definitely great! I will definitely be coming back and the girl who took my order over the phone today was very helpful (It was around 2p when I called, I don’t remember her name).

We would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our server (Sue) was amazing!! We didn't have a long wait for our food and it was really hot and tasted very good!! The menu had a huge variety of options to choose from....there's definitely something for everyone! It's a little difficult to find, but definitely worth the drive! The service was very good I had the Philly cheesesteak which wasn't the best but they are a seafood restaurant so I ordered the blackened shrimp and it was exceptional . I wish I would have gone on a Monday were I could enjoy the all you can eat blackened or grilled shrimp. Rather small dinning area but enjoyed experience. Let me start by saying the food was good. My date and I both had the fisherman's platter. It comes with haddock, shrimp, scallops, claim strips, coleslaw, French fries, and onion rings. The platter is fried. The batter isn't seasoned, so it allows you to taste the seafood. Now that the food is out of the way, Let's get to the rest. The ambience is that of a dive and bar. My waiter was not happy at all. Normally when you smile at a person they smile back. I received nothing. I personally will not go back to dine in, but I will order takeout.

I would give this place 10 stars if i could. The food is great , the building is clean, and the staff is amazing. While I love anyone who is my waiter or waitress, it always brings a smile on my face when I know I have Tori as my server. This girls customer service is out of this world. She is a total sweetheart and makes you feel like you were at home. The great catch is seriously so lucky to have her as an employee, it’s hard to find such young people with such great manners in today’s world. Definitely bring your family and check this place out!

Went to lunch here with my husband last Saturday . It was recommended by a couple in our neighborhood. It was very good. The best coconut shrimp I've had in a long time. The scallops, shrimp, and cod were all flavorful and the portions good. Great sauces as well. Highly recommend this place.

The lobster rolls were excellent, full of lobster meat and just had a great fresh taste to them. The waitress was friendly and helpful and suggested that we get the warm roll instead of it cold. We liked this restaurant. The waitress was nice. The food was fresh. It did lack a bit of seasoning/salt and could have used some lemons, but overall was pretty good. The restroom was clean, and the restaurant was a nice temperature. A nice casual place as well. We were worried the "$$" listing on google might mean it's a bit fancy, but definitely acceptable for shorts and flip flops. Would return.

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. This was our second visit. The staff was friendly, the food was impressive! I grew up near FL beaches so I'm picky about my seafood. Everything was fresh, hot, and seemed to be made from scratch. You could tell the chef(s) took pride in what left the kitchen. From the lobster bisque to the green beans (with a secret smoky ingredient..bacon?) there were plentiful options and all ingredients seemed fresh. A menu in 11x14? covered in options from front to back, far better than the version I had seen online in that there are blacked, steamed and other non-fried options. We had kids with us and the server was able to keep the food coming at a perfect pace. The only thing not in this places favor is the location. Amongst a crematory, thrift store and hodge podge of businesses, the inside struggles to convey a seafood restaurant, while there was food that could be seen (or litter) under the tables as we walked to be seated at ours. The glaring full size windows with the setting sun, didn't help the trash remain unseen. I think this place could take it to the next level if it had a better location and swept under the tables between patrons. We sat outside on their screened in patio on our first visit, but it's still near dumpsters, staff coming and going to work, not conveying a strong seafood eatery vibe I'd hope for. I hope this place is successful, the only thing stopping them is cleanliness and atmosphere.

We love going here every Thursdays for their Prime Rib special. You can even order their specials for to-go pick ups for those peeps who work every Thursdays so they don't miss 'em. They make everything fresh. Locals definitely know this place as a gem. Staff A+. Fast and friendly service. We appreciate even the little things like their prepared horse radish, homemade ceasar dressing, constant menu updates/redesign/new reprints. Ambiance is quaint, cozy and romantic which makes it a popular choice for local date nights. There's an outdoor seating experience. It's normal to hear "I'm stuffed!" when you see customers on their way back to their cars. Delicious, fresh, and affordable. I honestly don't want to write this review, because then I would have to compete for their Prime Rib specials they could sometimes ran out by 7. Solution: Order or dine in early, they start their specials at 4pm. We also LOVE their buffalo shrimps. Is it Thursday yet?!!! 😁😁😁 Can't wait!

I am giving a 3 star review to the manager on duty (or maybe it was the owner or it could have been another server). She exited the kitchen, went to each table and asked the customers if everything was all right. My table was the last and she totally walked pass without even acknowledging our presence.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice now. This is a place we love to visit during our annual trip to Florida. Most recently our server Lora or Laura (sorry if the name is misspelled) was fantastic. She has a great energy and makes the customers feel happy and cheerful. I highly recommend her and this place! At first we were worried we made a mistake stopping here. First, the service was great. Everyone was very helpful and we had fast service. The real reason for the stars though.. the food is far elevated above the ambience. Nothing was premade frozen. Everything was fresh and homemade tasting. This was the best coconut shrimp we have ever had. We are not local, but we will be back. Thank you for our great experience.

Nice place. Food came out hot. French Fries were seasoned and Cole slaw. Tasted great. The coating on the calamari and the fish was bland, did not taste any flavor to eat it without adding tartar sauce. It is served with marinara sauce, which you will need. Nevertheless, someone else would think different. I would go again, nice atmosphere, local business, food came out hot, and was fresh.

We were first time visitors. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. The place is small and cozy. We had to wait for about 10 minutes to get seated. Our waiter was prompt in coming to our table. They have a large menu selection of food.we wanted real crab cakes and were not disappointed. This was our first time here. The food was excellent. I had crab legs with onion rings and plantains. My husband had their Lobster roll and a fish dish. The food was really fresh, and that lobster roll, wow! I have never had onion rings like that and their cocktail sauce was superb. When I commented on them, the waitress told me that they hand make even their sauces. Noticeable difference. The owner stopped by and said hello, and the waitress was on top of her game. Food was delicious. I had the shrimp scampi casserole, one small issue is because of the nature of the dish it is very very hot. My husband and I came here for a date night and he was done eating before I had really gotten started on my main dish, I had to stir it for a while before I could even taste it. Delicious lobster roll here! It melts in your mouth, its so fresh and yummy! The French onion soup was a bit disappointing and bland. I have had better but the chowder and lobster bisque are excellent! So was the key lime pie! We will definitely return and highly recommend this culinary delight for dine in or take out! Food is great! Last time I ordered, I had to wait an extra 25 minutes passed the given ETA for my food. This time, I ordered on GrubHub and was notified 15 minutes later that my order was cancelled. Called the store and they said their system was down so I ordered directly. Picked up order on time and when I got home I was missing an item. I called to request a refund and was told they could only offer a credit. Asked to speak to manager and after a brief wait was told they didn’t want to come to the phone and could do nothing further. Probably won’t be back for “credit” for missing item.

We’re from Boston and ate here for the first time the other day. They had hand-cut onion rings, best we’ve had since moving here 20 years ago. Tried several places and these were better than Plant City BBQ and Fish W’s in Brandon. I also had the fried whole bellied Ipswich clams, you can’t get these in the Tampa area, and these were great. Fried clams and onion rings were as good as Seafood Sam’s on Cape Cod and Kelly’s on Revere Beach. Their menu offers lobster stew, I haven’t had that since Fred’s during my paper mill days in Rumford Maine, I’ll try that the next time, or the lobster roll. Their fries were very good too. If your looking for this type of NE food,, I recommend The Great Catch. I won’t have to wait until this summer at The Cape to get my fill.

I absolutely love this seafood restaurant! situated in the corner of a small group of stores, it's a hidden gem. The ambiance is good, and the food is excellent. The portions will have you asking for a take home box, they are that big. I loved the grilled Mahi Mahi it was delicious, I might have to try it blackened or fried next time. With such a diverse menu, you'll have no problem finding a dish you'll love.

I took my husband for his birthday and he had a seafood platter,which the portion was good.They have different specials on different days and the day we went they had a prime rib for $17.99 and kids eat free . Great Catch is a likable place with a strong local feel. The service was very good and the food what you would expect from a rustic seafood restaurant in New England. When available, there are steamers. Shrimp, scallops and lobster are served several ways. While most of the menu features fried items, there is a significant broil and grill selection. There are a number of different fish or seafood sandwiches, including a $16.99 Lobster Roll (with fries). Steak and ribs are on the menu too. The beer selection is pretty simple. Given how few good seafood options there are in the area, Great Catch is worth considering.

The seafood platters are so delicious along with the sides you'll not leave hungry. The cafe is very cozy with adequate, friendly staff that made our experience delightful. We arrived around 5 PM and our food kept coming so little to no wait. But shortly after we arrived the place maxed out and people began waiting for a table. Even though we haven't gone there during lunch time we understand that it is also busy. Although you have to know where this place is along 41 or you'll drive right by it.

If you like New England seafood this is a great place to go. One of the few places with whole belly Ipswich clams, haddock, and Lobster rolls. Lots more seafood choices to round out the menu. If you crave New England seafood but are unable to travel there this is the place for you! Their lobster rolls are delicious as is the chowder. The harder thing to find is steamed fat belly clams or better yet; fried fat belly clams. The use a crumb breading which is nice and crispy versus a batter which I think covers up the flavor. They use the same type of crumb breading on their delicious onion rings too! It's not cheap but neither are the same items at any lobster shack in Maine! They have indoor and outdoor dining but during these times we prefer the take out.

I've been meaning to come to this place for a month, the restaurant looks pretty cool and the food was good, we had the pick 2 basket with Atlantic Haddock and scallops and fries and they were really good, the fries were extra crispy and delicious and even though the scallops were kind of tiny and a lot of breading, the taste was good. The fish was a little bit mushy, not flaky like you would expect but then again it is Haddock and no seasoning or rub, that would've made the difference. Their menu is more than just fried seafood, that's why next time we want to try different stuff, probably pastas and other type of dishes. Also they have desserts that I really want to try next time.

We had a great experience here. There were so many things on the menu that we want to try. I had a cup of their Lobster Bisque which came with a tasty toast point and was absolutely awesome. My husband had a cup of their Seafood Chowder and it was also top notch. The soups alone would make a hearty and satisfying meal in themselves. My bisque was followed by a combination of the best blackened scallops I'd ever had, and wonderfully fresh fried oysters. My dinner came with their cole slaw (so good and not too sweet or bitter) and their fries which were delicious! My husband chose their Lobster Stew for his entree and it did not disappoint! It was served in a bread bowl which was also delish. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items that we had a hard time deciding between. The only issue I had was that I downloaded the app and it did not work. The service was so good, we decided that it really didn't matter.

Visiting the area, the Great Catch was suggested by a friend. The staff was excellent and friendly. It has a Really a nice menu, from fresh catch to live Lobster. The menu is pretty extensive from the appetizers to surf and turf and also meats. The portions are large and we left with Doggy Bags. Plenty of parking, easy access to Highways and shopping and is handicap accessible. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Wow place was mt. So we thought fast meal. Nothing could be further from the truth. Service was slow. They brought us the wrong meals. When we did get out meal my stake was cold. Onion rings came out after I was nearly finished. I would fire the whole wait staff. They were more concerned with their take out orders than the people in the seats. Spoke with the manager she is in the wrong job. She kept telling small lies the whole time we were there about what was going on. When things were coming out. Great food at a good price. Quality value and good service. What more can you ask for. Monday nights all you can eat shrimp is a great dealat $16.99. Shrimp plenty good sized also, probably a 26-30. The breading is light and tasty. The grilled are flavorful the Bang Bang Shrimp are terrific and spicy but not too spicy. Not a fan of the Buffalo but I don't like anything Buffalo. The coleslaw is also truly Superior. Sangria is great and as I said the value for the money is terrific and the service is great. Best place in that areaand one of my two favorite seafood restaurants in Florida. The other one being Rusty Bellies in Tarpon. Rusty Bellies is definitely pricier but they are also very very good.

Was only there once, to date. The reason for that is only because of the distance from my place. Food and service were excellent. Go there hungry because you get a lot of food 🙂. It is not a great atmosphere, but that said, there is nothing wrong with it either. Prices are very reasonable. Check their website because they have different specials every day, including a kids day. Also, if you dont already know where they're located, pay close attention to your GPS, or you will miss it. I honestly cannot understand how anything less than 5 stars can be given as a rating for this establishment. The atmosphere was very inviting and so absolutely clean. Menu offerings were plentiful and quite dynamic. The service was top quality with a very pleasant disposition. The food was incredibly delicious and in large portions. To review such a place and ding on stale furnishings and lack of available items, is an injustice as the important aspects of a resteraunt are overlooked and unappreciated. I would say that in the category of seafood resteraunts, The Great Catch is top among them. I am not an aficionado of such resteraunts, but merely a humble visitor, who was left plesently satisfied. If in search for good seafood “done right” keep looking. The service is very friendly and prompt and brings up this last experience to 3 stars ONLY for this. But as for food quality it fell real short. Our party of five tried quite a few items. Every item was overcooked and dry unfortunately. For instance when serving whole belly clams, calamari, haddock sandwich and fried clams these shouldn’t be over cooked or over breaded or you end up with chewy rubbery dry food and all of ours was over cooked or was like it sat under a heat lamp for 45 mins (sorry just being truthful) or get a new cook. The lobster bisque was a pasty purée with zero pieces of anything but will give it an “ok” for flavor. Portions were good however as was the wait wasn’t bad. Atmosphere is fair but is easy to overdress. Not sure we’ll be back but hoping my review will reach the careful observer ;-)

I honestly hate reviews usually, being in the business myself years ago. Reviews are written usually by hipsters or the angry mother with the short hair cut. This is not the review of the kitchen or the food, which was by far the BEST seafood I’ve had since moving home. It’s a review of Service. I know it’s busy, Tuesday evenings. But my pregnant wife, her family and me sat from 6:14 to 7:10 until we had a waitress notice us. I smelled the delicious mahi-mahi but alas none of it was mine. Blackened to perfection I might add when it did come out. Everything was awsome, after we were taken care of.

Service was very slow and inexperienced..Tables were dirty We had spilled ketchup on the table when we got seated , and the waitress brought 3 napkins and gave it to me to wipe the table . Food was just OK . Tartar sauce was mainly mayo and a couple pieces if pickles. I had the crab cake bites - the breading was twice as much as the filling . Fries were extremely salty . No refills on drink a were offered .

A really great seafood spot! I am from Massachusetts, and it felt alot like home. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the decor was very New England-y. I came in at 30minutes to closing and was still greeted warmly and patiently. I ordered buffalo shrimp and a beer. I was so surprised at the pile of shrimp they put in front of me! For 9 bucks i think i got about 20 fried buffalo shrimp with a blue cheese dip, De-tailed and all. I am for sure going back... Every week. *update* went again and brought my son. 3 meals and 1 beer. 50+ dollars. Painfully slow service and flies! Those little teetsy flies you get when you leave food out too long, or dont take out the trash, were flying around in my face! Also saw them in the kitchen. The food was good, but i have to lower my rating due to the flies and slow service.

They catered a team meal for the Land O’ Lakes High School Softball team and it was Primo. If they can do that well with chicken parmigiana, I can’t wait to taste what they do with their specialty’s. The girls really enjoyed it and I will certainly be taking my wife for a meal there very soon.

When your in the parking lot you'll see the Taste of Boston banner above the entrance to restaurant. Now that I know where it is I'm going back next week for the Foot Long Lobsta Roll! Other patron had one and it looks amazing!!!

Being from New England and growing up on Atlantic seafood makes it a little tricky to find a satisfying experience in Florida. But tonight I did at Great Catch, Land O Lakes's newest seafood specialists. Food was fresh, cooked just right and served quickly by Tina who was delightful. The helpings are oversized and delicious. Try the sweet potatoes fries and maple syrup. It's like dinner and desert all at the,same time. They have daily all you can eat specials. We enjoyed the fresh whole belly fried clams which are so rare outside on New England thast most people don't know clams come with bellies! Also enjoyed the sea scallops and shrimp. I've seen the mixed reviews, but have to say that our experience was top notch. We will definitely be back again with friends and family.

This place is up for COLDEST DRAFT BEER in Pasco County. I swear 60% of the reason we come here is for the ICE COLD Shock Top, just wonderful on a hot Florida day. The waitresses here have always been super friendly and helpful with our little kids in tow, and the kids love going to the lobster tank and checking out the little buggers. The seafood has always been tasty, they have tons of fried offerings and a section for grilled seafood as well. Good local restaurant, we probably come here once every couple of months when we have a seafood and beer taste.

My partner had the Friday night Haddock all you can eat special which was a huge hit too. Wife and I just left Great Catch in Lutz, doubt we will go back. The prices are higher than Chilis and Goodfellas, but the feel of the place is old, stale, no modern technology, lame furniture. I tried hard to find a dinner that was under $14, most were higher. And many of their dishes had baskets, which include fries, for like 12.99, and then the dinner version for 16..99, four bucks more. What do you get for the $4? One more side. It was that way up and down the menu. A side of green beans cost maybe 17 cents, and they charge 4 dollars. My salmon was okay, but not completely cooked in some places. Wife was underwhelmed with her fish n chips.

Finally a seafood place in LOL/Lutz. Loved the grilled shrimp basket, incredible fries (wish they were hotter on arrival) and coke slaw. Spouse had fried haddock sandwich..without cheese..fish were too big for the sandwich. Both orders dekicious. Our waiter was personable and knowledgeable about the menu..tho talking slower would help. They've opened an outside area and are offering specials there. Wish we'd been there as the inside a/c was decidedly freezing. Looks like they are being discovered as it is Wednesday eve and seating was full. Staff was friendly. Food was okay. A couple of family members come here often. The place was very busy when we went. It's a little on the not so clean side. Reminds me of a small dive joint that locals hang out at.

Great little hole in the wall restaurant. This place looks like a dive from the road, but inside it is a clean, pleasant family seafood restaurant. There is nothing fancy here, but the food is good, and the staff are friendly.
