Went on a lunch date to The C House and it was so delicious. I wish I would have known about this place sooner because I definitely will be coming back soon. All of the food was incredible. The service was quick and pleasant. I definitely can’t wait to go back and try their brunch menu soon!—- Also, their sangria is the best I’ve ever had!!

The C house does an excellent job of amplifying their space and making amazing use out of their small space. It’s cozy and cute offering several seating options…. including just chilling by the fireplace. A fireplace in Florida? Right! It’s silly, but works so well for this beautiful space. Our server Michael B. was such a treat. The highlight of our visit. He convinced us to eat dessert, complimented us, was super attentive, courteous, and had great energy. However, the biggest downfall was, sadly the food. Despite this being a really chill and fun neighborhood restaurant; the food is pretty mediocre and a bit overpriced for what they’re offering. I love the concept of the C house and I love the closeness it feels like it has to the community, but the food itself wasn’t my favorite. We were also given an extremely overripe avocado for their happy hour appetizer. If you aren’t looking too deep into your meal and just want to enjoy a beautiful outing in a beautiful place I would suggest the C house. I’m sure the cooks and the crew are working hard in the back; however the menu and space says one thing and the food showed another….for us personally.

Second time here! Which means the food is tasty to say the least. Bartender was amazing and attentive as we sat at the bar. The good was so delicious and beautiful to look at as well. The live music just added to the amazing ambiance. Love this quaint place💜

Was too warm to sit outside but the inside seating was fabulous. Very fun vibe and the food tasted amazing. Significant other, who is a fairly picky eater, thoroughly enjoyed the "Chicken Euphoria" and I loved the Fish Tacos!

The C House is a great spot for unique foods and drinks. Their "build your own board" is great for charcuterie and cheese lovers! The entrees come in large portions and are quite delicious. They have several drinks and offer some new takes on classic cocktails. Lastly, the cheesecake is phenomenal and comes in a generous (giant) slice!

This place was such a nice vibe very very chill. The sangria both white and red were absolutely delishhhh. The food was really really good I got the gnocchi and oh my gosh… they best and biggest gnocchi I’ve ever had. The chicken was super juicy, sauce was so good a lot of flavor! I will definitely be coming back.

Went here for a brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday! Everything came quickly except the check lol. A great place for upscale food, the live music was okay, steel drums were good and not too loud where you couldn't here the conversation. Clover Club was fantastic! The parking lot is only valet now which was kind of annoying but if you get there early it's easy to find street parking.

I went with a friend and her grandson. It was our first time visiting The C House. Our waiter, Michael, was the best. He checked on us throughout our meal to make sure everything was okay. The manager also asked if we were pleased with our meal. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. I had the chicken club on a bed on lettuce with a side of fries. Everything was as expected. For desert, we had the cheesecake. It was more than enough for two people. We even had some to take home. I would recommend this place.

Dear lord the cheesecake absolutely has to be experienced, make room! I know it's hard to get parking or a table here at night or the weekends, lunch during the week including Fridays is easy to do. Everything they do is A plus, burgers were outstanding, charcuterie is also very delicious. Can't recommend this place enough.

I was amazed at the flavors I experienced here. I got a chicken sandwich, ceasar salad, and the brownie cheesecake. I love how they paired pickles, chicken, and honey on that sandwich. My friend got a cheeseburger that looked delicious. Even the burger bun is amazing. Also, what a beautiful venue! Would love to see it larger because I am sure it gets packed on the weekends. I'll definitely be back. The price is almost a deal with the elevated flavors you get.

Good food, outdoor seating available, sometimes live music! Love the vibes here and the extensive menu of food and drinks. The staff is great with drink recs that suit your taste and are accommodating to any that don’t! Food was cooked perfectly. Parking can be limited in the lot, consider street parking and walking to location.

The food here is delicious! The cheese board delicious and the wings are delicious! Totally recommend coming here! The prices are reasonable! The service is good and the waitress make sure you understand what you’re ordering! A very good place for brunch! I also love the atmosphere and decorations! They have many option for their drinks and don’t forget to save your stomach for their desserts! The only downside is parking spaces are VERY LIMITED and looking for parking is HORRIBLE!

really pretty and cozy venue, the vibes were perfect for brunch! we sat inside for brunch after making a reservation the night before (super easy process) and split a three selection charcuterie board, which was overall really good but as a party of seven it was a little small for us, so we probably should’ve got the five selection. it was a really good charcuterie board however, we ordered the chorizo, manchego, and drunken goat cheese, and it was excellent, my favorite was definitely the goat cheese paired with the olives and nuts. i ordered the chefs featured burger, which came with burrata, pancetta, arugula, and tomato, and honestly it was good but not my favorite burger, but overall really high quality, just not my personal preference. the fries were delicious, and probably my favorite part of my entree. i also ordered a chocolate cupcake with vanilla icing, and that was pretty good, but I tried some of my friend’s salted caramel cheesecake, and that was absolutely amazing. overall really nice place !

First time visit and it was amazing. The perfect mix of Fun place and Great Food. We normally like the bar sitting areas for craft drinks and good vibes but at C House, AJ made this a great food experience as well. He was attentive, knew the menu well, and made us feel at home. But the whole team behind the bar was great. A new home away from home.

I loved this place. The decor was very cute and the crawfish Benedict was probably one of the best Benedict’s I’ve ever had. My fiancé had the chicken and waffles and said it was okay, tough waffle I guess. Overall great flavors and service. They also have discounted mimosas on Sundays.

The C House is one of my favorite dinner spots! Their charcuterie boards are amazing and so fun to eat. Love their lamb pops too! Tried the ravioli recently and it’s the best pasta I’ve had in Tampa. My husband always gets the gnocchi and it’s also incredible. The first time we went, we were lucky to have Kent as our server and always request him when we go back! Phenomenal service and food every time!

Alex my server was excellent and attentive! My burger was incredible and cooked just right. The apple and croissant bun make this quite the treat! My first time here I tried the charcuterie board and an old fashioned both were top notch! Next time I’ll try the cheesecake, I’ve heard such great things about it!

This is a "C" themed restaurant where menu items begin with the letter "C" and a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is atrocious with the lot only accommodating around 20 cars leaving patrons to find street parking. This is a neighborhood, so beware the tow signs...there was a truck being towed as we arrived. The menu has a great mix of offerings. We ordered the 5 piece charcuterie board and it tasted amazing, unfortunately it was none of the cheeses and meats we ordered. The server, Bella offered to bring the missing items but we elected only an additional 2. For entrees we ordered the short rib with mashed potatoes (very hearty and delicious) and the gnocchi carbonara, vegetarian version with mushrooms (delicious but a little salty). It came with bacon and no mushrooms. The server comp'd the gnocchi and brought us dessert to go. All in all the food was tasty but there were kitchen issues.

"C" est bon! What a fantastic outdoor and indoor venue! I loved the subtle blending of masculine and feminine elements inside the restaurant. (However, you can't eat a wall...although, at this place, I might have tried.) Our service was spectacular (even at 12 o'clock on a hot afternoon.) Sergio was lovely and helpful and was graciously wearing many hats today. And the lovely manager checked in with us and the others specifically to ensure our meal was perfection. And, that meal...my Dearest wanted the poutine (C anadian Fries). I thought it would be too heavy on such a hot day but the fries were crispy even under that blanket of cheesy, gravy goodness. He had a refreshing iced tea, while I had the white sangria (I can't remember the "c" reference for the sangria because it was THAT good.) For the actual lunch, I got the "Call Me Fabio". It's like a mushroom risotto "bowl" but in the most extravagant "Yeah, fresh kitchen is ok...but I'll stab you for this dish" sort of way. (Fresh Kitchen is nice and I'm not a violent woman but the warm, creamy risotto has this cool fresh spinach side with red peppers and soft onions...and did I mention the feta?) My boyfriend had the Crustacean Roll, and it was creative and "C-rustucculent". (I didn't know that homemade C ocktail sauce could be so delicious.) Anyway, go to the C House. Amazing food. Lovely people. And, most of all you deserve it!

Great spot for Sunday Brunch. Recommend making reservations ahead of time as this spot does get busy in the afternoon. The C in the name is mostly known for the charcuterie boards and champagne selections. You can make your own board out of a variety of selections. The waffles were delicious as well as other main courses. All the staff was very pleasant and quick service made this a good visit. They are pet friendly so dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash: they have indoor seating and outdoor. There is a full outside bar and live music! You can choose from sitting under the roof to in the sunny area with shade from giant umbrellas or go all out and sit in the plain sunlight in their mini deck. Great for those sunny florida days. I would highly recommend this place for good food and outdoor environment

The espresso martini is yum also the jalapeño margarita. The charcuterie board was to die for! The jams and honey they provide with it so delicious, I cleared the entire bowl. My partner had the chicken euphoria which was yummy they use this brioche croissant bread so bomb. The only thing that wasn’t a win for me was the jerk chicken pasta. It was nothing jerk style at all you can say it’s a chicken pesto basil pasta. It was 6/10 but everything else was great. I enjoyed my drinks and meal

Great experience all a round ♥️ Everything on their menu starts with our named with the letter 'C'.. even their alcohol drinks and wines (the name of winery, your or originating territory) Inside and outside dining, nice atmosphere and great service. My wife and I stopped in for lunch bites. Sharing a charcuterie board, poutine fries and a chicken sandwich. Each item was well executed. The cheese selection was nice and well rounded to for all tastes. You get to select what you want!! Even the accoutrements (nuts, pickled veggies and fruit) were nicely suited. The poutine fries were absolutely delicious. The gravy, the cheese curds and fries were perfect. The chicken sandwich we shared... Buttermilk batter, moist delicious came with a honey thyme sauce. If you haven't come, you should. Make a stop, it will be worth it. So why not five stars? I personally felt, even though delicious and executed nicely, done of the food could have used some seasoning. For example adding some seasoning into the chicken batter and most importantly there wasn't any salt/pepper on the plain fries .. they could've benefited from seasoning. Lastly, we had uninvited guests sharing our honey on charcuterie board and flying during our meal... Definitely a bee hive close by. I'm not offended that they dropped by, but I could see a family being bothered by them or afraid of them. Definitely so by and enjoy this worship restaurant!

Okay let’s be honest, the “C” gets stretched quite a bit… “classic cut” fries? It is a cute concept and the charcuterie boards and cheesecake are definitely the star of the show. I thought everything in between was just okay.

The ambiance was good. We went there bc they have gluten free options. They also have a kids menu which had gd options. The steak chimichurri was chewy. I wouldn't order it again. Fish was grilled and wasn't that tasty. I'd try it blackened. The burgers were excellent. No parking. You'll have to valet.

First time visiting and it was a very nice experience! We had a reservation and they were ready for us at the reservation time, so no unnecessary wait. The service was pretty good. The drinks were fantastic and big fan of the board. Tried pickled peaches for the first time and now I am obsessed! 😍 The grape mustard was 🤯 The chicken sandwich was good but the burger was overcooked. I asked for medium and got well done. I did not send it back out of personal choice because I hate wasted food and it is something that can be remedy with feedback. This was going to be a 4 star review but a single person there made all the difference. Allie was just clocking as we were getting close to the end of our meal and happened to walk by our table. She complimented my hat and the brewery it is from. She struck a conversation with us and took the time to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. Just felt absolutely comfortable, organic and genuine. Folks like Allie really just make the absolute difference between a pretty good to an excellent experience! Overall, I will definitely be back!

10/10 RECOMMEND. Their food is phenomenal, no joke. I got their chicken euphoria sandwich and it did not disappoint. The honey sauce, GOOD. The French fries, GOOD. The chicken, GOOD. I literally don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place. We had Ken as a waiter and he was very nice, fast, and overall very pleasant. The atmosphere is relaxed and the perfect place to enjoy a lunch. Will definitely be returning!

For sure the spot to be at for brunch in the Tampa Heights area! Amazing handcrafted cocktails, local craft beer and the most well thought out charcuterie boards around. They have cheese I've never heard of before, and that's quite okay because if you order one of everything, the server will explain each item as the boards are served your way. They have nice live music at times that is very moderate so you can still have table conversations outside. The ONLY downfall is parking, especially on the weekends. You are very lucky to get a spot in their small lot. Most streets behind the restaurant allow parking, but watch for no parking signs, and follow them, as you don't want to be towed.

Allie was our server and it was the icing on top of a perfect experience here. The flavor of the food was a direct correlation to its quality and everything was cooked with pristine care. Our reservations were at 730pm on a Sunday and even though kitchen and bar closed at 9pm they allowed us to hang and finish up all the way until 10pm! Love the rockstar experience.

Every single meal I’ve had here has been superb. Tonight I got the skirt steak medium rare with mushroom risotto topped with chimichurri. Then I topped it off with the lemon cheesecake covered in a blueberry sauce. The wording is fancier than what I recall. Every time I am in the Tampa area for work, this is a go to for me. The charcuterie boards are what got me hooked coming here so absolutely 100% get one to start. You can always take the cheese home, who doesn’t love left over cheese?!

We really enjoyed the easy going vibe and AMAZING cocktails. Live music was great but not overpowering. Our friendly bartender, Sergio, suggested his charred rosemary lemon specialty cocktail creation that is one of the best drinks I've tasted. The fish tacos were delicious as was the crustacean roll. Will definitely be stopping by again on our next Tampa visit!

So food is fine. Service is fine. They got a parking problem, they serve way more ppl than there parking spaces allow. Ppl get creative and get towed quick. Even if u shop from harvest bowl you’re at risk for a $200 tow bc the C Hose lot is small and full. Too bad business is all aspects not just food and service. I go spend $100 bucks at C house and $200 tow. Just go to Hyde park or mid town.

The place was remarkable for a busy Friday night. Bella the waitress had a remarkable memory and acuity for her job as our personal waitress for the evening. Just had a remarkably fun and lovely time. The food was very well done. A pleasure to look at and delicious. Need I say more?

A small , cute and rustic restaurant. I feel like I stepped into a Pinterest board. The charcuterie was delicious. Only thing that bothered me was the amount of flies. They have a garage door front entrance. Granted there was an air curtain to keep bugs out, but quite a few slipped through. The bartender got our drinks wrong, but I hate wasting good alcohol so we drank them anyway. Overall it was a good experience and I'd definitely go back.

Service is amazing and real cool positive energy from the bar staff to the wait staff all the way up to the General Manager...Food is top notch! Highly recommend coming in for Happy hour from 3-6 Monday-Friday. Live music with an awesome vibe! Definitely worth checking out! A TRUE GEM IN SEMINOLE HEIGHTS! 😀

I had been dreaming of visiting and once I did, this place did not disappoint! I saved it especially for a kid-free date night and my husband and I had the best time. The environment and service at this restaurant is gorgeous We sat outside at the bar, live music, beautiful decorations. The only miss was our food was a bit bland and disappointing. The manager Stephanie comped the entire bill because she could tell we didn't enjoy. She also offered to provide us new meals. I'm happy to come back and try a different dish because we saw other tables food and this restaurant clearly has good food.

Food was good ordered the mussels and crab cakes.. we sat out said which was nice. I would come here again. I brought my 4 year old son to a birthday dinner gathering and it was ok. There was a DJ which added atmosphere. Parking situation is not the best as valet is 6 dollars and the restaurant is located in a neighborhood so either get there early 15-20 min to look for parking or pay for the valet

The C House did an exceptional job today hosting my company’s holiday party. They were Abel to a conflate a large party provided great service and the food was delicious. The staff was courteous and Cabot the manager was on hand to direct the event. He was professional and a pleasure to deal with while booking the event and during the event. He weren’t above and beyond to ensure that the event was a success.

I’m eating right now and I have to say the crab cakes were moist yet had a beautiful crispy sear that had the most amazing crunch. Wings were delicious and crispy as requested. Really flavorful Cajun tocos with a unique and beautiful seared strip of fish for an amazing texture. For deserve to have a chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream icing. The cupcake was soft, smooth and delicate on the taste. Overall amazing dinner. I recommend couples.

Finally a location that’s perfectly ripe for happy hour with your coworkers. Exceptional outdoor seating, fantastic service, wide variety of libations paired with gourmet offerings. The BEST Buffalo Cauliflower, trust me you will not be disappointed.

Great big open area prefect for this being outdoor. We were there in time for happy hour and gotbthe charcuterie board and the Buffalo cauliflower which were amazing. For entree I got the chefs feature burger which did not disappoint, it was humongous, didn't finish it bc it was big, 8oz burger, fried Mac n cheese and I added a fried egg on it. The Mac and cheese shareable was delicious!! So many other options on the menu. Definitely will be back.

I really love the look of this place. Very inviting and homely. It not a huge place but it does have outdoor seating. I ordered a ton of things and overall the food was ok 7 out of 10. Somethings were over cooked but still tasteful. The mixed drinks were so tasty but not buzz worthy. I will definitely visit The C House again, I enjoyed myself

Like the restaurant, food is good my only thing with the restaurant is, the parking used to be free now they charge you 5 bucks for it (agree is not that much) but it used to be free, plus the whole parking lot was full because everything is valet, or find a place to park outside. I know it sound cheap but its the principle, love the food though

I have to admit - I was initially skeptical of C House, simply based on the premise (seemed a little silly to me) - but we have consistently had really great experiences eating here. The buffalo cauliflower app is AMAZING. We always go for the happy hour and piece together shareable from there. You can’t go wrong. Service has also always been great, and the place is clean, inside and out. My only real caveat is that the menu seems a little limited to me - I don’t get too excited by it, but everything I’ve had has been real good.

I loved the atmosphere, excellent customer service, the food was really good. I will definitely be back. There is only valet parking, you can't park at the location, and you can't find any spots so no matter what you need to use valet.

My husband and I enjoyed a really nice and romantic dinner here. We went on a Thursday and arrived around 4:30, parking was still available. I called ahead and made a reservation, requesting inside seating. We ordered the chefs board, which was delicious! We also ordered the Poutine and Carne Asada street tacos to share. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. We ended the night with a flight of cheesecake. My husband has always claimed he didn't like cheesecake, but he ate more than me! We also got a cupcake and chocolate chip cookie to go. That may have been the best cookie I ever had. Over all we had a great time and I would recommend going. By the time we were leaving, all of the parking was filled and most of the tables were already taken. I would definitely recommend calling for a reservation, and going earlier rather than later if you aren't sure where to find parking elsewhere.

The food and atmosphere was amazing! When we got there it was raining pretty bad but they still had tables open outside so we got to drink and eat with the sound of the rain and the live music. It set the mood just right for our wedding anniversary. Finally if you can get Kirsten as a server you will be on the best of hands, she was not only super educated of the menu as well as pairings but her personality and way she treats customers is so warm and inviting. We will definitely be coming back thanks to her. And if you ever read this kirsten tha ks for making our wedding anniversary special when you didnt need to. It meant alot to us. Great service and food. Trendy spot with a great ambience both inside and out. Good addition to SH but would drive to go here even if you live afar! Addition. First review (above) was three years ago. Been a few times since. Went tonight. Equally as good! Don't let parking deter you. We parked on street somewhere nearby. Bella was a great server, manager was a real charm, and other staff very nice too. Although it rained and sitting outside, nice ambiance and they cleaned up nicely. Live music was nice. Love everything about this place!! outdoor patio is a great place to bring your dog and relax to live music. Service is amazing, craft cocktails are beautiful and tasty! My husband and I came after a day at Lowry Zoo. All I can say is wow. I haven't had food that good in a long time. We had the crab cakes and steak tacos and they were phenomenal. I think I said wow after every bite I took. Our server named Ana(I think) was very attentive and nice. They had a woman singing shortly after we came and we ending up hanging out a but because we liked the place so much. We will definitely be back next time we are in Tampa. We normally don't get satisfied when eating out because we find american food too plain, lack of flavor and just ordinary, but this place is really tasty and looks like everything is made from scratch. Perfect takeaway meal! Even though DoorDash was being a pain and had to order direct, I had a great Easter meal (chef’s selection of a wedge salad, chimichurri steak frites and I couldn’t decide on which dessert so I got both!). The cookie had giant chips and sea salt on top, the cupcake today was carrot cake (fitting for Easter 🐰😬). Thank you to the service staff and chefs that are still hard at work to safely serve locals amazing food through these crazy times. 🙏 (I was able to drive up, stay in my car...food was delivered by an employee with gloves).

Great atmosphere and concept. Food was good. Table service was fine, but the food took forever. 2 dishes came out 15 minutes before 3 of our other guests, and then 1 more anther 15 minutes later after that. They were not crazy busy, and we never really got an explanation why. Anyway, the jerk chicken is more of a pasta dish than a chicken dish. Not very spicy but had decent flavors and was cooked well. Chimichurri steak was cooked great.. Fish dishes were nice, as well. Light on good quality beer on tap. Creative cocktail list. Overall good place except for the odd timing of the dishes that came out.

I have gone here several times for all different types of occasions, and the experience has always been great. I like to bring out of town visitors here to show off a Tampa local spot with an expansive menu. The chicken sandwich is one of my favorites. I definitely recommend this place.

Delicious charcuterie and wine/champagne. We also love the ambience of the entire restaurant. Only reason that I am giving it a 4 star review instead of 5 stars is 3 out of 6 people in our group ordered the gnocchi and were unable to finish it. The gnocchi was too salty and the chicken was dry. Previously everyone loved the dish. When this was mentored to the waitress, it was not acknowledged. Will most likely return to the restaurant for appetizers and drinks, but most likely not for dinner. Would still recommend trying out!

The service was great, the food was delicious, and the prices were good too! My wife and I ordered a charcuterie board, Buffalo cauliflower bites, and fresh tuna to share. Out of these items, the cauliflower bites was the best thing, I honestly wonder if I will ever eat cauliflower bites again that are as delicately balanced as these, they were firm without being to hard, crunchy without being burnt, enough sauce that it wasn't overpowering or dry on the other hand. I wish I could eat them everyday! My only negative was the chocolate chip cookie, it was one of the worst I've ever eaten. It was doughy more like a muffin and extremely dry, but since it was a special occasion they gave it to us for free so I guess it didn't matter anyway lol. Everything else was great and I would definitely come here again.

Quaint place. Stopped here for some takeout pastries. We decided to take home the chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate in the cookies looked more like strips of chocolate bars and not chips which gives it a more gourmet appeal. . Very tasty cookies but maybe a bit salty perhaps? Out of 6 cookies three were possibly not fully cooked and had doughy areas to them For $3 a cookie they were pretty big and seemingly not made with cheap chocolate or other ingredients. We did not eat dinner here. Looks like a nice atmosphere to eat but I did not inspect the menu. A few televisions outside showed some sports. The staff we encountered was very friendly.

I didn't like the forced $6 valet parking especially being it was on a 20ft walk from the parking spot to the restaurant and only a 10 foot difference from the valet to the parking spots. Try the poutine! What's great about this place is the responsive ownership and the attention to items that make you comfortable. For instance lots of fans on the patio and lots of heaters for when it's cold. The bar staff on this visit were also sweet and provided great service.

Disappointed:-( I heard how great this place was so we decided to have dinner there Friday night. PROS- Friendly hostess; great out door seating, dog friendly (a big plus), clean tables & surroundings area, not too noisy (so I don't have to yell when talking) and Great chocolate cheesecake, Crabcakes, coleslaw and Ceasar Salad! CONS- If you order a Crown & Coke, tell them NOT to use crushed ice (it just waters it down and she still charged me for it); Mac & Cheese had hair in it (blonde hair that may have fallen in food while being dished out), French fries taste as if previously frozen and cod fish was so heavily battered that I included photos(leftover from my meal.) It was more batter than fish and soggy. I ALMOST FORGOT, Our bill was $94 (only 2 alcoholic drinks ordered - only consumed less then 1/5 of 1st drink.) Overall, I didn't feel the food/service justifies a $94 bill/$117 with tip.

So put all the negative ones before mine into the trash. This is your typical “growing pains” scenario and all those bad reviews are definitely circumstantial. What I’m going to do is highlight the positives and leave room to come back and speak on the negatives if they don’t get addressed. I won’t point them out though. Pros - Bubbles: splits of sparkling rosé and cava at a ridiculously competitive Happy Hour price. No brainer. - Coffee/espresso bar - to complement the decent wine selection. Show me anyone that can drink 2 glasses of Bordeaux or anything bubbles and walk straight and I’ll certify that you’re a liar. This just works. Have some good juice and then caffeinate before leaving. No brainer #2. - The owner made the effort to come and check on me, not once, but twice. A big deal to me around here especially since the customer experience is not a huge emphasis for most new places now. They just think they can ride the coattails of a good wine list or menu. SMDH. - Ambiance: Works for Seminole Heights, grungy, blue collar, farmhouse vibe. I like it. Reminds me of a number of places in Tampa, but why reinvent the wheel? It works. Great job transforming a former muffler shop. Wasn’t hot at all at 5PM and noice level was barely tolerable. Overall Good first experience. I’ll update on visits 2 and 3 and will just let his place grow into the identity it chooses. Plenty of potential. Give it a try at least once. P.S. I had chicken wings - fully cooked, good flavor, blue cheese was not some cheap private label. Phew! ...to be continued

I had a brunch for my birthday with 16 guests. The manager was very helpful with accommodating our party. They were over booked but he made sure we had a spot inside. It was very comfortable and everyone had a great time. Even with minor issues regarding the food, our server Michael was phenomenal and made sure we were all happy and having a great time. All the girls loved Michael and he really helped smooth everything over. I would definitely recommend asking for him for your next large party ❤️

Unsure how anyone else rated "The C House" less than 4 stars. From the ambiance to the service to the food, our experience tonight was outstanding. To find a couple of menu items done well is a treat. Here, everything from the first appetizer, cauliflower, all the way to desert, was phenomenal. We judge a restaurant by whether, while dining, would we return and, if so, for which dish. There were so many delicious foods, we could come back every day for a couple of weeks. Compliments to the kitchen, bar, and servers.

So I’m not sure if it’s because our table arrived closer to closing time, but we didn’t have the best experience at this restaurant. The environment was beautiful, but the food was not the best. The sangria did not taste right, our order of fish tacos were not fully cooked, the mozzarella in my caprese salad was not freshest and the charcuterie for the price was not worth it. Our waiter was awesome and tried to make things right, but the kitchen really needs work. The manager was super understanding and also came by our table to say that she was new and working on turning the place around in the way of food service. I will maybe try this again in the future, but not anytime soon.

What a great place!! Craft cocktails, wonderful service, beautiful outdoor seating and great charcuterie!! Food was delivered in timely fashion, facility was very clean, fresh eats and delicious drinks! We (hubs and I) sat outside at the bar and watched how meticulously the outside area ran, thanks to the gentleman bartender (taller, well spoken, experienced and told us about his gf who's from Michigan) whom I forgot his name! He kept other staff accountable and efficient, was entertaining, attentive, kind and made us great drinks!

We had a good time except we had made reservations for 13 and were told we would be able and therefore expected to sit together. When we got there, we had two separate tables which wasn't what we wanted so we found chairs and squished into the 1 table. None of the staff tried to help with the shuffling or tried other accommodations for our party which was disheartening and soon after another party got up and they could have easily made some adjustments so we would be more comfortable.

Drinks and service were great! The restaurant inside and out was spotless and clean. My dish was a little underwhelming for the price, at $16 for a small waffle and two smaller pieces of fried chicken. My husband had poached egg Benedict that were over cooked and not runny. Not a particularly good experience today. They have several really good things going on…..but they have a bunch of genuine issues too. Some I don’t even want to mention here. Some issues they seemingly would rather not even know about. While I tipped 100% on the tab, it’s too expensive to be willing to deal with all the bugs and flies at the indoor bar. Outside its 3 male bartenders standing around talking to each other rather than tending to their customers. The drinks were awful unless you want to drink something that tastes entirely like sucking on a lime. Music was good, atmosphere is good, food is excellent, service is pretty average at best….hard to recommend right now unless its for food and music.

The C Restaurant is in a surprising location, I almost missed it during my navigational drive. However, once I turned around, I found a very eclectic place. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I ever had and the fries were hot and tasty. This is a must place to visit and dine.

The atmosphere is totally relaxed, they even had Tony Tyler playing music on the patio. They are dog friendly so we will be bringing our boy back to the patio the next time we come here. Good spot, limited indoor seating. We sat at the bar outside which was nice with great service. It was a 90 degree day (felt like 97) and it was still OK to sit outside with all the fans and coverage. I would not recommend this during the summer. The Food: This was very good. I would say above average Tampa food but nothing extremely special (we only got a charcuterie board and the chicken euphoria sandwich). Drinks: Drinks are varied and good. The prices are reasonable and similar to other Tampa spots.

Trendy neighborhood spot for great wine, cocktails and food. We popped in and were lucky to get a spot outside. Reservations are recommended. We did not have one but someone had just left and we got their spot. We had the chicken sandwich and the gnocchi. We both couldn't get over how good the gnocchi was. These were not the heavy gummy gnocchi you find in most Italian restaurants, these were little pillows of wonder. They were light and held the cream sauce so well. We honestly can't wait to go back and try more. 2 drinks and two entrees were a modest $60. plus tip. Great job!

One of my favorite nice chill restaurants in Tampa. Great food and beverage selection that they are very clever/creative with naming. The outside seating is covered (and has heaters if necessary), and sometimes they have live music! The whole place is ground level, so it's pretty accessible. I had such high hopes for this place in the beginning. The drinks are amazing and I loved the charcuterie board. Unfortunately the service was really lacking, our waiter would leave us for 45 minutes at a time. We asked for a new knife which was never delivered. And the chicken sandwich was incredibly bland. I love the ambiance of this place, the outdoor seating, and the live music. I just wish my entree and the service were better!

The charcuterie board was nice, although for a place specializing in same, the ham was unnecessarily clumped together, and the two of the the three cheeses were cut so thinly, that they immediately began sweating and subsequently drying out in the outdoor fans. The fries seemed to have suffered a similar fate as the Serrano, namely a lumpy, clumpy ball on the plate. (Pssst: Have you tired cooling between poaching a frying the fries?) Service was okay, I know these days smiles and the pretense of wanting to be there cost extra. The guy with the guitar.. should have stuck to mime work. Saturday afternoon, the true highlight was when suddenly several hordes of young women with pierced, protruding nipples started swarming the place. C house... I get it now.

It was so amazing to come across this place. We were staying for a night from Orlando and it was definitely a blessing to stop here. The atmosphere, the craft cocktails, the food and the at home service, I'm blown away. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this unique and great experience. I give 4 stars for the food, and 2 stars for the rest = 3 stars overall. Swordfish/risotto was amazing, as was the burger and Caesar salad. My 4-year old didn't like his mac 'n cheese, however, and he'll always eat that. When our food arrived, we were also swarmed by flies, and had to eat with one hand, while swatting them away with the other. It made the experience very difficult to enjoy. Secondly the service was pretty slow. I felt like I was always looking for our server to order new drinks, or even just to place our meal order. Chance of returning, 15-20%.

Hello! First, our server Kirsten was great! EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the menu and options and was VERY responsive to our questions. The food was served fairly quickly. My wife had a hair in her plate and they quickly fixed it! The portion sizes were good and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. We all had a “sample” idea. We had the veggie burger, wings, Mac and Cheese, Harvest salad, crab cakes, lamb pops and steak. The salted caramel cheesecake was amazing! When we left, I noticed something. Several of the wait staff was on the patio setting table settings for what I assume to be the next day (wrapping the forks and knives in the towels.) What was disappointing to see was that several of them went to pet a dog (a visiting friend that was there) and immediately went back to folding the cloth Napkins and Forks/Knives. I brought it to the attention of my server and the Manager on Duty. They agreed with my sentiment. Unfortunately, nothing was done to change what was happening. We stood outside for about 20 minutes and watched the staff continue to make the table settings and even in a sense look at our party as if we were weird for saying something. I think we need to acknowledge that pets are pets and we should wash our hands before we engage in eating utensils. Secondly, I think we have to acknowledge that not everyone is a “dog lover”. Finally, another member of our party pointed out that there was another dog under the table in which they were preparing the table settings. This part of the night left a bad taste in otherwise good experience.

The staff is stellar and seem to be hand-picked by the owners/managers (Who really care about the customers) from the bartenders to the chefs to the waitresses and waiters to the hostesses. Found this amazing spot while on biz in Brandon and I am so glad I did! The host sat me without my complete party, which was nice. I had a wonderful server, Claudia, and she recommended a sparkling wine after I told her my tastes. Delicious choice! I had the Carbonara Gnocchi which was OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD! The ricotta gnocchi were little pillows of fluffy goodness and the sauce was so flavorful. I'm wanting to get it again right now! DO NOT miss the lemon blueberry cheesecake... holy wow! Anytime I am back in the area, The C House will have my business. Thanks for a great night!

Great atmosphere on the patio, live music a nice touch and not too loud for conversation. For the most part, the cocktails are good but sometimes a bit watered. Nice selection of wine. Cheese selection is good, can't really miss. We have not been impressed by the food though. The crab cakes have quality lump crab meat, but, for me, the flavor was overwhelmed by the seasonings and sauce. Also, they were dry and overdone. Could have been an off night but I wouldn't try them again. The Caesar salad is fantastic. Desserts are all delicious and portions are huge, you can easily split. Overall, it's a nice place to chill out and have some wine and cheese or get dessert after dinner.

Would have been much happier at Mekenita or Rooster and Till had they been open.

Over a year ago, my wife and I took my parents to C House when they were visiting. It was new, looked charming and sounded delicious, and I thought we'd take a chance on it for some dessert and wine after dinner elsewhere, despite some shaky reviews of the service. Instantaneously, it was obvious why the reviews of a place that seemed so appealing were less than stellar: within minutes of arriving, the incredible disorganization was apparent in easily a half dozen ways. But, restaurants fumble at the beginning and deserve second chances. Fast forward to this past weekend, my parents were visiting again and we decided to give it a try for brunch. We were seated immediately, attended to by a very friendly and helpful waiter, and ordered the "breakfast feast," which is essentially a family-style brunch plate for 4-5 people with waffles, fruit, bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, various jams, and fried chicken. It arrived quickly, was presented *beautifully*, and every single thing on the plate was "best in class," which is hard to pull off when every item is a staple food. The coffee was also noticeably excellent, and topped off at timely intervals. Our waiter even went back and got us some of the beans because we'd asked about where the coffee came from. All in our party agreed it was easily the best breakfast we've had in a long time. On top of all that, a really great ambiance that works for any time of day. Kudos to this great restaurant for turning it around 180 degrees after a rocky start!

Was my 1st time at The C House this evening. Food was fantastic! My party of 4 each enjoyed our entrees and the two apps we had (definitely order the charcuterie board!) The cocktails were okay, not worth the price, should have just ordered beer or wine. The only drawback of the evening was the waiter. Very uncharismatic and just....blah. Wasn't very helpful when we were deciding what to order, forgetful of items we requested (didn't bring them until we were almost done eating), and just not personable at all. Atmosphere was nice as was the live music. Will try again, hopefully with a different waiter.

This place is awesome. I love the concept (my name starting with a C and all!) and it's fun to see how they creatively twist dishes and drinks to match the theme. Beyond that, everything was delicious - it's not just a gimmick! They had wonderful cocktails and we ordered off the happy hour menu for food. Their cheesy mac and cauliflower buffalo bites were perfect and large enough to split between two people and fill us up! And finally, the cheesecake - so so good. Don't skip dessert!

Sunday brunch. Too busy. There was no available parking onsite. No overflow parking. We either had to park along the neighboring street or in the lot across the venue. Social distancing and masks are required but difficult to enforce. Clean. Service was friendly. Since it was a beautiful day outside seating was a must. Menu prices are influenced by the restructuring of the community. Overall a good first experience.

Terrible. One star is too generous. Note: See review from "J" from about a month ago. I was with her party. She was more than generous with her 2 star review in my opinion, but gives a full account of our experience. Update: The owner contacted me through Facebook messenger. I told her about the review from "J" and after reviewing it she said that she thought she remembered the incident and that she had comped some items from the table. I had left after an hour of sitting there without having my order taken while random food was arriving at the table, so I wouldn't know. Anyway, she said that she would give both "J" and me a $25 credit, which would be "notated in the system". If I decide to go back, I will update my review. Update #2: I am upgrading my rating to 4 stars after having brunch here in May. Our party of five was seated inside near the kitchen. Service was quick and friendly. We all enjoyed our cocktails and food. The chicken and waffles were great. I would definitely try C House again.

I was a little disappointed with this place. I have a broken back and the seating was horrible for everyone at our table. Everyone(all 4 of us) were complaining of buttock and back pain. It's a cool, open, pub style restaurant. I was expecting to be really blown away by the food but I wasn't. I'm not sure if it's a seasonal menu? I felt like everything needed a little salt. The service and drink menu was good.

For the price, the service and food simply isn’t good enough. We were there for almost 2 hours to get appetizers and entrees, and our first drinks took 20 minutes to get to us. I appreciate Friday nights are busy, but when an average entree is $25 and you can’t get a glass of wine for less than $10, things should just be better. Additionally, my appetizer (the gnocchi carbonara) wasn’t worth eating. Carbonara should have a think sauce that really just coats the pasta, and the sauce with this entree was like watery soup... for $20 😂 Love the charcuterie options and the restaurant is a cool concept, which is why my review wasn’t 2 stars.

I've been here at least five times and each time, I tried a different plate. My favorite hands down are the lollipop lamp chops, they are sweet and savory. Not too sweet but you can taste the brown sugar. The cheeseburger and fries are another good option, the wings are flavorful and the steak frites are good as well. The drinks are good but, it seems they are a bit selfish when it comes to the amount of liquor they put in one drink. Other than that, I would recommend the c house. TIP: if you don't want to wait to be served, I would suggest making reservations. Personally, I never made reservations here and only waited a while (30 min+) one time. I think that is hit or miss.

Depends on your server. Food is always delicious but service varies. Regular menu items with drinks can get a little pricey. $80 for 2 appetizer items, cheese plate and 2 drinks. The other night we got there at 5:50, we weren't given the happy hour menu, by the time our server made it to our table it was 5:55 pm. I asked about happy hour and she said sorry that ended at 6 , it wasn't even 6. They have a great happy hour menu.

Most of the cocktails were good as well, i didn’t like my old fashioned as it was missing some of the sweet and spice components but the black manhattan was a pretty interesting drink. The cadillac Mac and cheese was good. Service was ok. The scallops with "risotto" was not good. The scallops were undercooked with barely a sear. The risotto was anything but creamy, more of a cheesy rice in a pool of broth. Overall a decent place but I would probably stay away from the more expensive meals if I ever go there again, since they did not take too much care in preparing the scallop dish.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The weather was great so we sat in the outside seating area. We quickly discovered this is a great little gem tucked away in Seminole Heights! Food was great, service was fast and pleasant, just an overall great relaxing atmosphere. Ok, I love the C House. Awesome cheese boards and ceasar salad. This was my second time. First time was a weekend and I will say the chicken on my salad was a little bigger and juicier on the weekend but I'll give it another try to be sure. The flavor is delicious. We had the same thing both times, why, because it was good. We will venture the next time we go. You might want to make a reservation. Or at least call to see if you need one whatever night it is. One negative issue, parking sucks. FOOD GOOD, STAFF FRIENDLY

My visit was for Sunday brunch, and I was more then satisfied as was the rest of my family. I had the crab cake eggs benedict and was surprised at the quantity and quality of the dish. If you're looking for a great new brunch place then go to "C"s. BTW alcohol drinks served after 11AM.

Great place, in wonderful area. I was apprehensive at 1st, because I heard a lot of negative reviews. But after going for myself, I'm happy to say that it was awesome. The service was great and the staff was very accommodating. Number one thing that stood out about the experience was the atmosphere and the food. If you're looking for the most delicious foods that begin with C, with a chill vibe, Then the C Houses is the place to be.

I write plenty reviews in this space and have never commented on others opinion (it is their opinion) I believe some of the lower ratings may be a bit unfair - Given the circumstance of Mothers Day (one of the busiest restaurant days of the year) expectations to be seated without reservations is, well ridiculous. And the restaurant is relatively new - so I think there may have been some growing pains and staff inexperience here and possibly some unreasonable expectations. In any event. The theme here are items that start with a "C" so you get the picture. My wife and I stopped in to check the new scene out in Seminole Heights. It fits in perfectly with the genre. I love what they did with the interior and exterior spaces. Plenty of well covered outdoor seating. Despite being a warm June day the bar area seating and outdoor dinning area were ventilated with fans. My wife and I elected to sit at the bar top. The space inside is chic, hip and trendy but not pretentious at all - bar stools were super comfortable. You get a cozy at home warm feeling and even though it was June the faux fire place seemed to fit right in. I absolutely love the high vaulted open style barn ceilings and the preservation of the wood rafters adds to the experience. We came for drinks and I enjoyed the black Manhattan Cocktail - My wife and I split the Cauliflower Bites - very well made, tasty and not over fried at all. I also had an opportunity to have a brief chat with owner about getting some Carrot Cake ( you know the "C" thing). She seemed very genuine, charismatic and welcoming- eager to hear my suggestion. I left feeling appreciated. I'll definitely be back , this is a great addition to the Seminole Heights area - so give it a try and maybe be a little patient until they can work out the kinks! NOTE: this area is really becoming the epicenter of restaurants and bars so expect to wait if you do not have reservations during peak times.

This was my first time here. The place had a nice vibe, sort of a beachy kind of vibe. They have live music. The guy singing was very good. I was happy with service, the girls were smiley and pleasant. The food was ok. I had the tacos, they weren't bad just bland. Overall the place is great to sit have a drink and relax. I will return.

I should have gotten the cheese board. Everyone around me had ordered one. Amazing looking! The key lime cheesecake was delicious. I did not understand why the hostess was hesitant to seat us at 5:00. Supposedly, there was a reservation arriving at 6:30, but I don't think 2 people eating at 5 would cause a problem. Fortunately, the manager stepped in.

I’ve never been disappointed by the C house. I’ve been here for happy hours during the week, date night, family gatherings and strict dessert sessions. I was happy to learn they decided to stay open during this time and feel fortunate that I am able to support them. Last Sunday my boyfriend came home with Chicken Euphoria, def lived up to the name. Plenty of fries to share, great buttery bun, juicy chicken with the best crunch and that coleslaaww! We ordered it again tonight, couldn’t stop thinking about it. If I could make a suggestion, they should prepare it with the coleslaw on the side to prevent the bun from getting soggy. This would make sure everything remains intact for the ride home. I have no pictures to share, none of the food lasted that long, haha!

After driving along North Florida ave, we came upon C House. We noticed the parking lot was full and decided to take a look. We noticed diversity in the ages of the patrons and families dining. We ordered the three section cheese board, manchego, aged cheddar, and the brie. Not only was the presentation beautiful, but the tasting of all three cheeses were above expectations. We ordered the cheeseburger. Perfectly season and cooked to order. The flavor wanted you to have more. The added touch of bacon was delightful. The French fries added an extra touch. The cauliflower bites added a new twist and reinvention of the cauliflower. Our waiter Jason, had the knowledge of all items on the menu. The beer and wine menu is enough for all pallettes. Danna the owner greeted us. She was pleasant and thanked us for coming.

I have been to the C House a few times it's a great place for food and drinks. My wife ordered the crab cakes and they were very disappointing. They gave us 2 crab cakes there was little to no crab. I would rather have 1 good crab cake 2 stuffed with bread. When I break open a crab cake I want to see crab. The ceasar salad, cocktails, and service was good. I did mention to out server the dissatisfaction with the crab cakes and he said he would tell the kitchen. The deserts are amazing.

Been here many times. Personally, I've only had the Chipotle Honey BBQ wings because they are, hands down, the best wings in Tampa. My wife mixes it up with the menu and we are never disappointed with the food or the service.

My husband and I made a quick stop here before a concert at the Yuengling Center, near USF. We were seated quickly but it was an early evening. Recommend making reservations. The outdoor seating was great with live music, TVs, bar scene. Our food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Tampa. *My only concern was when we ordered the chef’s charcuterie board it did not have nuts listed and my husband has a severe walnut allergy. I had to remove half the board from him. I would encourage servers to ask when customers order if anyone has a nut allergy.

When we got there there was a 1 hour wait and the greeter told us we had to have a reservation. It wasn't until we ask the manager that he told us if someone doesn't show up for a reservation 10 minutes after they scheduled it you can have that seat. Once we were seated it took a very long time for someone to come see us. The food and the atmosphere were really good.

My friends and I met here for happy hour last week and loved it! The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful. They didn't rush us through questions and gave us lots of suggestions and options. It felt like a good place to hang and enjoy company and drinks and food - welcoming. And the food - we ordered one of each of the happy hour apps. A cheese tray, charcuterie tray, buffalo cauliflower bites, and poutine. It was all good but the buffalo cauliflower and poutine were REALLY good. There was a good selection of desserts. We tried a few of the cheesecakes - the keylime one was great. It has a great atmosphere - clean, simple, and cozy. Definitely a neat little place in the area.

So this place was a bit of a surprise...the location seems out of place...it ought to be off swann in south tampa or on the clearwater beach strip. Anyway...the outside bar seemed to have a life of it's own andvwas very festive. My wife describes the decor as "Country Chic" lots of white wood and open rafter ceiling...it felt like we were somewhere else....not off Florida Ave. Well done! The food...i think they have a lot of happy hour business and apps that support it well. I tried pountine for the first time...they did a great job but maybe too rich for me. The candied lamb pops! Holy Molly probably the best lamb ive had in a long time...it was literally crunching yet tender and flavorful inside. Great dish! The gnoochi was perfect...my wife loved her food as well! I'll be honest we dined months ago and i can't remember everything only that we really enjoyed it all and took out leftovers home....no shame people! Dont waste great food! We really loved the champage tasting flight they offered! 4 i believe. My wifes cocktail was great. Im sorry to be vague but everything we tried was delicious!...we will be back soon and be prepared for a more detailed review!

The C House was the super cute place to go to. I thought it was really fun that everything started with the letter c. All of the food that I had was really good and the Mojito that I had was delicious. We also have the cheesecake for dessert and it was very yummy. I would definitely recommend this place. I plan on going there soon!

This was my third visit to The C House since it opened. My first two experiences were amazing! I have raved to everyone how great the cheese and charcuterie plates are, as well as their cheesecakes. Unfortunately, this most recent experience, albeit pleasant, did not hold up to my previous experiences and it primarily was a result of the immense decline in quality of the cheese and charcuterie plate—it was substantially less than my previous two visits. The quality of the cheeses and meats were not as good and practically flavorless (and we ordered several of the same as before knowing we liked them). The accoutrements were basically only picked vegetables and the amount of mustards and jams were severely lacking—literally a teaspoon of each is all you get! Other than that, the rest of the food was delicious and bountiful and or server was very friendly and attentive.

We ate here for valentine's day. We both enjoyed our food. We got a charcuterie which was really nice and flavorful. Our surf n turf entrees were also really good. Our daughter got chicken strips that we had to test which were also great. Only gripe is parking. The lot is way too small and we were instructed to park in the local neighborhood. Parking was still difficult if I didnt want to walk a mile and i also felt odd parking in front of someone's home.

I have been coming to C House semi regularly ever since the grand opening and can already sense this will be a successful Seminole Heights establishment. The food is on point. You need to have a charcuterie board and if you like Buffalo sauce, get the Colliflower bites. There's a lot of the menu I haven't tried yet and want to! I see attentive service on every visit, last night, my bar neighbor had a piece of cheese brought out to him by a chef. I don't know the details of the exchange, but the customer had a huge smile on his face, I could see he was satisfied.

Short review: Interesting concept. Nice place to go with a group to socialize and share food and drink. Focus on the charcuterie, desserts, and drinks to maximize culinary pleasure. Parking sucks. Long review: This place is interesting. It's got that same "fixer upper" styling; the rustic, but cool look to it. Pretty much the same hipster vibe that has taken over Senior Heights. The staff is friendly enough. The manager (?) was super nice and so was the tall guy. The drink options are good enough. I'm not a big drinker but I was surprised by the number of beverages they could cram under the umbrella that is the restaurant's concept. The charcuterie plates are very tasty and the desserts are quite enjoyable. The middle of the visit is where the food and the restaurant's concept seemed to fall flat for me. We got the chicken biscuit sliders and chimichurri steak frites. The steak was good, but the accompanying "cut fries" and salad were unremarkable. The chicken biscuit was a noble effort but it was a miss. The chicken and biscuit were pretty dry and it also came with the same, unremarkable, "cut fries" mentioned with the steak. I landed at the 4 start rating after taking the average rating from the rest of my party. I personally would have given a 3 star, but others really loved it all and would give 5. So I split the difference.

Great food, the churasco steak is the best I have had in Tampa. They explained everything to heighten the fine dining experience but I found it a little much to describe every single cheese on the cheeseboard. I mean it was good. I prefer less talking and more tasting.

This is my spot. love the concept,the menu, the bartender. The Brunch menu has been great everything I've ordered. I like the carne asada tacos, chicken wings, buffalo cauliflower, they offer a chicken sausage and a seafood sausage as well a few pork sausages for the charcuterie. The only draw back is parking. Came to Tampa for a long wknd. we came for lunch after the nearby zoo.The owner was our server, She was Extremely attentive and genuine. I was so enamored by her pride in the restaurant we decided to come back the following night for dinner. With a party of 7, and a packed house, we never once had to look/wait for our waiter to refill our drinks. If I’m ever back in Tampa I’d make it a point to return.

It's an interesting concept baking on the success of the trendiness of the neighborhood that probably has something to offer the locals. But where it comes to execution the C House earns it's name. The C House prides itself on "Champagne, Charcuterie, and Cheesecake", 3 things I am very fond of. My wife and I arrived at 8 p.m. on a Friday evening to a modestly busy setting, a wedding rehearsal dinner was taking place in the outside seating area. The C House is located in the heart of the heights gentrification zone, and like many of these restaurants popping up, it has the rustic, industrial, look and feel to it. The outdoor area is large, with a nice bar, and several TVs making it feel a bit more "sport bar" than foodery. Their was live entertainment, a gentleman strumming a guitar and crooning his take on classic rock of the 80s and 90s; I have to assume he's a relative of the owners given his inability to hit a note properly. The inside is a comfy size space with a few high top tables in the center and seating at the bar. There is enough room to not feel crammed into an old garage on top of everyone else. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. And our server was there almost immediately to introduce herself and take our drink order. Not a drinking night, we order a bottle of sparkling water while we familiarized ourselves with the menu. Apparently an oddity as she had to go into the kitchen to investigate if they offered sparkling water. She returned some 10 minutes later with a bottle of sparkling water in a champagne bucket apologetically explaining that she had to put it on ice as it was room temperature. She proceeded to explain the 3 C's that give The C House it's name and that the Charcuterie boards were ample and many couples find themselves full on the 5 or 7 selection boards. We ordered the 5 selection board and ask her to circle back in a moment while we decide on shareable openers for our meal. Another 20 minutes later she informed us that our board was on its way soon. We ordered the Candied Lamb Pops and Ceviche as an opener with the intent of ordering meals if the presumably monster size Charcuterie board didn't do us in. Another 15 minutes pass and a food runner brings out a medium size cutting board loaded with a mound of grapes, a humble offering of each cheese and a slim selection of meats. My wife and I frowned at one another, we've been here 35+ minutes and we're on a schedule, so we dig in heartily. Not 3 minutes passes when our lamb and ceviche openers arrive. A moment later our server arrives to check on us, as I smile politely while my wife, beside herself, softly addresses the fact that our first course just arrived on top of the appetizer that we ordered more than half an hour previously. The server apologized and explained that the Charcuterie part of the kitchen was in the weeds and well behind. I'm just going to critique the food, if you've made it this far, you deserve a break. The lamb was, in fact, candied. The sear on it was perfect. That was the good part. There was not a grain of salt to be found in it. I love lamb, I make it all the time, I learned to prepare lamb in a 5 star restaurant. You have to salt lamb, it brings out the delicate flavor of the meat. It doesn't matter what your vision of the dish is, do the meat justice. This resulted in a sweet meaty bite that didn't taste at all like lamb; it was dull and lifeless. I wish this were Mary's lamb, she would have cried when she saw what they did to it and at least that would be salty. The ceviche, a shrimp and vegetable dish, had the taste of the sea. Salty. With a hint of onion. That was it. You couldn't get the taste of the cucumbers over them. The crisps were crispy and also salty. If I were a savage I would have spread it on the lamb, but it had suffered enough. We decided to forego any more C food. We paid our check, the server had taken 30% off of the lamb for it's speedy delivery and comped the sparkling water which had only just come to temperature.
