We went on a Sunday night and had a great time. We started as a small group, but people we knew kept coming in and the server was so kind to keep bringing over more tables and chairs. We overheard that waitstaff had called in, but our server was so attentive that we really couldn't tell she had other tables if we hadn't looked and seen her doing it. And she was honestly super patient and kind to our large group. All of the food ordered at the table looked great, but my order was the Bird and Pig -- pulled chicken, brie, apple, and honey. The side salad was spring greens with a wonderful basil vinaigarette. We'll definitely eat here again.

The food was fabulous, as were the Lattes & Margheritas. The "daily special" was a great 🥗 salad with a delish grilled marinated chicken; very original flavor in the marinate; Jalapeño Poppers were the BEST i have ever had. Kudos to Chef and his kitchen Staff. Our server was good, not GREAT. The missing ☆ (for a 5☆review) was for something very interesting: Extra Napkins! I requested extra dinner napkins & received COCKTAIL napkins, three or four of them! Yikes! No big deal to most diners, but to me, that simple lack of dinner napkins was...careless? Unnecessary? Cheap? Yea, all of the above. Would definitely revisit, even 4☆☆☆☆'s later.

Interesting little place turned out to be pretty large! We wandered over after parking in a small lot the block behind the main strip. It had a main bar and dining room area where the bathrooms were located and then around the corner there was another dining hall where I can assume private events or concerts take place. We were greeted the moment we walked in and told we could sit anywhere we like. Since the bar was packed, we chose a small table toward the back. The art was eclectic and fun to view. They had some posters from past events that looked incredible! We would have loved to attend those. We enjoyed some yummy cocktails including a few espresso martinis off the menu and a couple whiskey sours. My fiance wasn't hungry, but I wanted a light snack to begin the New Years night shenanigans so I ordered the baked brie. It was served with warmed crostini and was perfectly baked with green apples and honey roasted garlic. I finished it all myself it was so good! The rest of the menu looked soooooo good but we weren't hungry enough to order more. It was a great time and staff had cute outfits on for the holiday. Highly recommend this place if you'd like to try somewhere with real character.

Fun place with vegetarian and vegan options. I had Veggie Cuban with slaw side that I put on my sandwich. It was delicious. I had a decaf chocolate caramel cappuccino that was just delightful. Great atmosphere too in Ybor City.

The place has a nice vibe to it and the open kitchen concept was interesting. I would definitely come back to just hang out with friends and order beer. They have some board games so that was a nice touch. However the food was quite insipid. I ordered the "Bird & Pig" sandwich and it was flavorless and the chips tasted and looked like Tostitos. I also tasted the "Pacific Rim" sandwich and I had the same verdict. Hey, great place guys and it gave me some good vibes, but I do recommend reviewing the menu or talking with the cooks because the food was quite unstimulating. Cheers, best of luck!

Loved the vibe inside. Food was full of flavor. My husband and i split a sandwhich and order of Nachos. Plenty of food. Service was slow but only seen 2 maybe 3 waitresses. We would definitely come back.

Visited here in 2019 on a solo trip and have thought about it since! Came out to the area again on vacation this week with my partner this time, and this was the first place we stopped in at. Delicious way to start our trip!! 😍 the pacific rim was 😘🤌🏻 and excellent drinks

The food was delicious! We had the rooster bowl (and was one of the best bowls we’ve had in a long time!),sandwich, and an apple pie. Both Carlos and Kyle were very helpful and super nice and friendly. Definitely a go to while in ybor :)

Very cool vibes and good food. I think the atmosphere is the big draw, very laid back and comfortable. There is a large meeting room in the back. Lots of space and didn't feel cramped at all.

Hands down best breakfast burrito around! I told the bar tender to give whoever made it a raise! All the wait staff was super fun and were always making sure you are taken care of! Their drink menue has a lot to choose from but is not overwhelming. First time in Yabor and they definitely gave me a reason to come back.

We enjoyed lunch at The Bricks before heading to the theatre this afternoon. We love the casual vibe with lots of natural light. The Veggie Cuban sandwich was delicious! The slaw was also very good. The Pacific Rim was really good once we got some dipping sauce on the side.

A pretty cool place to visit! The small menu implies they take a bit more care with each dish, though I can only speak on mine. We had some black bean hummus to start which I really loved. I then had the Veggie Cuban, which just substituted the meats with mixed greens. It was pretty tasty and a lot more refreshing than a traditional. My only bad note is the service was a bit subpar. Our server gave me the wrong side with my entree(which she did offer to fix), and then later seemed to forget when I asked for more hummus. Other than that it's a cool place with decent food and a cool atmosphere. The brick walls and cool art make you feel like you're in someone's studio, so very homey. All told, it's worth checking out.

Very clean space, food was excellent, and they displayed a wonderful art gallery. The outside lounge area was where I enjoyed most of my night accompanied by a DJ and karaoke.

An amazing bar and art space. Our drinks were carefully and skillfully crafted right in front of us, our meals were top notch with loads of gluten free options, and the atmosphere was on point. This is a bar we will 100% be returning to next time we are in the Tampa area.

This was our first time eating here. It was absolutely Delicious!!!! Fresh Fresh Delicious Food. We got the Beef Burrito. Yummy. You can tell the chefs take pride in the food and presentation. The waitress was professional, friendly and attentive. The Atmosphere was very nice. Comfortable, Clean Restaurant. Next time we are in this area we will be coming back. Keep up the good work. This restaurant cares about their customers and their name. :)

Fantastic service for our large group. The restaurant was quite busy but I felt no nudging by our waitress to move on out the door so she could have another table seated. My special request salad was made no problem and it was quite delicious. Prices are very reasonable and it's so cute and festive environment.

We had a good food experience. Both sandwiches were good. I had a tuna salad sandwich (no cheese) on Hawaiian bread and my husband had the Po boy shrimp sandwich with potato salad on the side. Salad was excellent as were both sandwiches. The dessert was yummy as well. The server was lukewarm.

Was in Tampa for business and stopped in on a whim. Love that they had a vegetarian-friendly Cuban sandwich and the soup of the day, a pumpkin ginger cream, was so tasty. Beyond just the food, however, the service was next level attentive and genuine. Finally, I love the atmosphere here. The attached art gallery was a nice place to walk around after the meal was finished. I will definitely return at some point!

Excellent!!! The veggie cuban is a awesome! Also tasted the Kung Fury bowl, very generous serving. The flavors go so well together. Amazing!!!!! I would highly recommend stopping in. They have a few veggie and vegan options. Everything made from scratch. House made mojo pork and house made pickles. Lots of space, so you don't feel crowded in.

The ambience was probably the best part of the restaurant, very well lit and welcoming. They even had what appeared to be local artwork on the walls. Our waitress was friendly and prompt, and made suggestions to us. We ordered the chips and salsa, pork tacos, and large bowl of nachos. The chips we're not friend at the restaurant and most likely bagged. The salsa, however, tasted fresh and we like it. The pork tacos were very small, but tasty. You only get two of them and I would have been happy if we received three instead. The portion of nachos was very large and included jalapenos. While it tasted good, the cheese sauce was too thin for my liking. It was probably the thinnest cheese sauce I've ever experienced before. Despite the above criticisms, the ambience and our waitress were good enough to make me want to come back and try out other menu items.

Nice vibe .very spacious. Indoor/ outdoor dining. Then they have a cool event room.Unfortunately i did not have a drink but the bar is big and they had a huge selection of alcohol and fun cocktails. We had the nachos and the s'more brownie.. both were delicious

Really enjoyed my meal and the service. Very casual atmosphere and easy for something simple and quick. Would definitely go back if I was in the area. Had the Tasmanian shrimp rice bowl and chips and queso. The rice bowl was great. A light lunch with a lot of favor and enough food to fill you up. Chips and queso were standard but still pretty good. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good and casual lunch.

Want a local joint with some flare and dare say has the feel of a "gem", well then Thr Bricks is a great choice. The atmosphere was great, the decorations were unique, the food was fantastic (pricing was definitely right). They have local craft beer, wine and your standard domestics & imports. My food of choice was the queso and chips, for my entree i chose the Shrimp Po Boy which was the best one ive EVER had. The shrimp were char grilled and seasoned perfecly, plus the bun was fresh, toasted and warm. The final and most important note, they have phenomenal customer service. The server was attentive, had a fun personality and gave great recommendations. Go to The Bricks, you'll love it!!

Homey and welcoming. Very friendly and attentive staff. It is a couple of doors from the Hampton Inn where we stayed and we stopped in three times in two days for a drink and a quick bite. The portions aren't huge but they were enough for a lite dinner.

So its not listed as a poke bowl but holy portion batman. Generally when Ive ordered poke at other places you get the tiniest bit of tuna. Not here! They loaded it on. Also came on rice or kale but I opted for just mixed greens because I really just wanted the tuna. Husband said his pork sandwich was one of the best he's ever had. One of the specials tonight was potato soup and it was ok. Downside was lack of parking and it cost us 15$ on a weekend which is ridiculous. Anywho would eat there again if we were ever in town again.

So, if I could give the food and the bartenders a rating, it would be five stars. The wait staff.... 1. I went there during Tampa Pride with some family. It was super unclear where we could sit or if we should wait to be seated. W asked one of the waitresses, and it was very clear we were bothering her by even asking ( we seat ourselves wherever). We sat down for awhile (probably 15-20), before one (then another) went up to the waitresses to ask for some menus. That's when we found out the area we were in was "order at the bar". Perfectly fine, but idk, tell us that? We ended up ordering or food at the bar. The bartender was super nice and helpful and nice (5*s). The bartender told us they'd bring our food if they could (which they did), but we might have to pick it up from the counter depending on how slammed they were. Super nice and clear about how it works and what's going on. I think there was only 2 waitresses working and were under staffed, so I understand. It was their attitude that was BAD (like I'm bothered by talking to you or even asking for menus/a question/etc). If you're too busy, just say that. We're all human and understand. Would go again for the food and the bar staff.

Spent my morning here for Goth brunch. Today's theme being What We Do In The Morning (vampires). Dressing up gets you a free shot. I got the special, a "Bloody Burrito" with sauteed onions, red peppers, eggs, chorizo, and "bloody sauce"(queso and enchilada sauce). It's served with breakfast potatoes. Everyone here is great, they've been working super hard to make this an awesome brunch for everyone. Will be back 💕

Stopped in here to use the restroom, stayed to finish the lightning game.... Bartender vern asked me what I needed ... Moved to a chair in the middle of the bar to finish watching the lightning game.... Bartender Kyle immediately asked me what I needed and offered a menu... Told him it's my birthday they gave me a free shot of some blue vodka drink.... Kyle is cool... me told me the history behind the bricks, provided outstanding customer service super friendly.... Other staff super friendly... Prices look on par and and cheaper than other restaurants/bars I've been to... Highly recommend definitely coming back again.. go bolts! One last thing, friendly environment everyone's super friendly here great atmosphere!

It was okay. I had the pork tacos, the pork was a little dry but it had a lot of good toppings and flavor. My husband had the messy egg sandwich which he enjoyed, the side salad not so much. Lol. You seat yourself and they come to you fairly quickly however to get the food and pay the check did take a while and the drinks was ok they didn't have a simple margarita 🙃

The service is wonderful and the nachos are amazing. I attach this picture of the last of my nachos to highlight how throughly they distributed all the cheese and salsa. Smashing drink deals as well. If you want a good late night eat, come here! Kitchen is open until 10 during weekdays and they have a late night menu all night!

I absolutely love The Bricks. I have been going there on and off for the past 10ish years when they first opened and I was a student at HCC in Ybor. I would go and study at the counter and eat their delicious cuisine and have a coffee and even sometimes a drink if I didn't have a class afterwards. The menu has changed over the years, but everything is good. The people are friendly (except one day - the waitress seemed to be having an off moment) and the atmosphere is wonderful. Now I go with a friend to escape the children and have some adult time with good drinks and good food. Get whatever is on the special for the day. Because it's always going to be amazing!

Surprised I haven't reviewed this amazing establishment years ago! First of all, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, as if you're an old friend visiting after a while. Secondly, the food is excellent and always tasty. You won't find regular, "normal" food here. You'll get their best concoctions and the combinations of food is amazing. Checck out the art and stop by for a bite or drink. You'll have a good time.

Bricks is cool and the drinks are great. It has a great atmosphere. The chicken bowl however, tasted like PetSmart smells when you first walk in the door. So now every time I go to PetSmart, The Bricks gets free sensory advertising.

I went here based upon the recommendation of a coworker, and all of the things a man wants to know upon entering a bar were availed to me immediately upon entry. The draught list, cocktail specials, and food menu were presented or communicated to me as soon as I sat down. Carlos was an expert barman, and the place was full of attractive and interesting people. If you ever go there when he's working, order a Boulevardier. It was 2gnar. I will be back, and I'm ordering food next time. It looked like and smelled like really good stuff.

Off the beaten track of Ybor's main road but well worth it! Great authentic atmosphere with a friendly service. Good Cuban fusion food with very interesting, unique and delicious flavors. The cocktails are delicious. Give it a try next time you're there, you won't regret it! Family friendly and reasonable price.

Great little spot to start or end your tour of Ybor City. If you are lucky, on the weekends you can get free 2 hour street parking in front - or just pay to park down the block.

It's dark inside at any hour, but it's still a friendly place. I've been there to kill a bit of time and had an excellent iced coffee. I've been there for lunch and really enjoyed the sandwich. And I've been there for drinks at the bar with colleagues. I like the fact that the music isn't loud - if I'm visiting with people I don't want everyone shouting. Wait staff are skilled and courteous and I'll gladly go back whenever I'm in the area.

Always excellent though I suspect supply chain shortages are influencing prices at the moment. Would recommend if you're willing to pay premium for the food. Small portions, high quality. Also has a gallery of local artists you may purchase from in, at time of writing, moribund and pop art genres.

If I lived closer I would go here at least once a week. The food was so good. Our group had many items off the menu and they were all good. The veggie Cuban was spectacular. Their mixed drinks are top notch. My only suggestion would be lower the volume of the music later at night people were there to talk, not dance.

A nice local diner/pub with a particularly casual feel. They've got a decent selection of sandwiches, bowls, salads and local beers. The flavors aren't crazy or particularly unique, but the food is tasty and there are enough options that you can find something interesting to suit your feelings that day. The bowls seem particularly well done. Service was pretty quick at lunch and the bar was well tended. It also offered delivery via an online service and the food packed nicely and handled the delivery well.

UPDATE: Can't beat "The Bricks" for starting off or finishing. Good craft beer selection and well crafted Cocktails! They have a unique fusion style menu that has some pretty interesting items to choose from. I ordered the Greek chicken grilled salad and all the greens wee fresh and crispy and the dressing that was served along with the it was tasty and savory. My wife ordered the black star burger (black bean) and she absolutely loved. It was served was served with a side mixed greens that were very fresh and cooked al dente, perfect! This place has a great atmosphere and eclectic hip crowd. You can find your crowd here if you are looking for a comfortable place to relax. The food is tasty and the deserts are definitely something you do not want to pass on.

Visited here with some friends who were in tour as it was nearby and had a vegan menu to fit dietary restrictions. Atmosphere was good and relaxed and service and staff was more than accommodating to our party. Wish that there had been a larger vegan selection of food but at the same time it's understood as to how and why the options were not more. Would return again.

My buddy and I were made to feel uncomfortable as hell in this place, even though we didn't do anything to warrant such treatment. We came in, sat down, ordered, and were polite. I don't get it. I won't be back because I don't have to be back. Customer service quality is down across the U.S. in a number of industry segments, but it's a bummer to see the problem hit a place you used to enjoy. I suggest some form of emotional intelligence training for the employees. This will probably increase the average customer experience in general, not just my own. I wish the employees of this place well, training or not, as people are people and should be considered as people.

Love this place. The foods are phenomenal from the sandwich bird and pig to the soups of the day. I love the dressing for the greens and often get some to go. The drinks are always good and staff usually warm, helpful, and prompt. Ambience is low key and casual. Love it.

The food here is amazing. Brie apples and chicken is the best combo ever. Also loved the cider they carried. Lemon hummus was great too. If you don't know what you want for lunch just come here. You will not be dissappointed.

I don't like giving less than 5 stars so I normally won't review unless I can bc I understand that servers can have off days too or cooks or whomever. But our server was great and my chicken and pig sandwich was good. Just my mom's tacos were a bit dry so we asked for salsa. It helped but when we got our bill they charged $2 for the salsa which seemed a little pricey for the amount. I think our server might have heard our concerns (though we didn't speak up to him) and he took the charge off which I thought was a good customer service choice. I don't know that we would have ordered the salsa if we knew it was $2 and I appreciate his awareness. Anyway overall great atmosphere and I would go back to try some of the vegan options too. Thanks and sorry for the 4 stars.

If you are vegan and into salads and wraps, you'll be in heaven. The menu is quite limited and not fantastic for those of us who want actual food. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very nice atmosphere and the wait staff was very nice. I went for lunch on a work day. They got us in and out so that we could be back at the office in an hour. I had the beef tacos which were beyond greasy considering it is a healthy food place. Now that I know what it is they serve, I'll be back if I feel like eating healthy 😉.

Chill, good music, great service. I have had almost every non-breakfast dish here, none of them were disappointing. Coffees, green tea, and craft beers all satisfy the taste buds. It is also worth mentioning that this is an excellent atmosphere for working or studying. The music is never too loud and the place only gets super busy on Friday and Saturday. I enjoy their Spotify playlists and variety of shows they play above the bar.

Cool little spot at the west end of Ybor. Some really tasty beers and coffee drinks to sip on. I did not order any food, but I looked over the menu and although not extensive, all the items sounded really good. I could see a few dishes being brought out of the kitchen and they looked great. I also liked that they had a selection of menu items available for late night ordering. Will definitely be going back.

The Bricks is great! Sometimes the service can be super slow which is normally not an issue but take it as a warning if you are in a rush before an event in Ybor. Otherwise, food is always consistently good and they have great drinks and specials. Drinks are good, but varies depending on the bartender for sure. Food is meh, nothing special but will get you by. Atmosphere can be nice depending on what’s going on. When they have events it can get crazy busy, but it’s fun (i.e. 80s prom, etc). It’s worth the try, especially if you live in the area.

The looks of this place on the outside are very deceiving. It looks like some small little dive bar but on the inside it's a really spacious restaurant. We had the following: The Sorry Charlie which was an A+, absolutely delish! For a side dish I had the Asian Slaw which was also pretty good, I give it a B+. My husband had the House Burger and Mixed Greens for a side dish and both were A grade entrees. Our server whose name was Taylor was also very good.

Great food and drink selection, adult or otherwise. I split the bricklayer nachos and pork tacos with my girlfriend and that was plenty of food for the both of us. This spot makes an excellent place to sit-and-eat with both afternoon and late night menus. Not hungry? Grab some of their cold brew coffee and enjoy their wonderful playlist and upbeat atmosphere. Very cool place, but limited vegan options, despite being on all the vegan-friendly lists. To their credit, everything vegan is clearly labeled on the menu, but there is just not much. Very chic hipster vibe with at least two bars (maybe three depending how you count), lots of seating and a nice, secluded, outdoor patio in the back. The Bricks is just barely outside the main Ybor strip. Worth visiting, but not worth a second look if you are vegan and looking to have meal options. Their locally-named drinks, however, are fabulous.

Love this place! Been here many times and the food is excellent, the staff is fun and helpful and the place has a hip vibe. My favorites are the bird and pig, the cure (sub Cuban bread with Hawaiian bread), the grilled cheese and their Asian slaw is addictive.

The mushroom sandwich was just sliced little mushrooms--not a big portabella mushroom like you'd expect. Nice and cool despite the heat outside. Movies on, on the TV's, that were entertaining. Friendly, prompt service offered us beverages and apps a minute after we sat down. The "One for Tucker" was great Rye based twist on a Mint Julep. My partner and I had sandwiches. Her's was Veggie Cuban made vegan. Mine was Athena Chicken. Great place to hang out, meet friends, reasonable prices, and solid selection of beer, wine, and liquor. I'd go back if I was in Ybor. The do have breakfast and brunch which I've been told is quite good, but I've never been. Also, they do have live bands, but not at the time I was there.

This may not be the most fair review for most people's experience, but it is honest with our experience. We went here because it was the only place open after a late concert on a Sunday. It wasn't terribly crowded, but not dead. The bartender was pretty busy, but also pretth impatient and visibly annoyed that we were there for food and asking questions. She actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked a question about the food. We found out they only had a select menu due to the late hours. The options were pretty minimal. We ordered the nachos and tapenade and the chocolate coffee cake. The tapenade was SO salty (and I'm an olive/tampenade lover). The nachos were decent. They were a big portion with lots of good cheese sauce, but barely any of the other toppings and they only put salsa and jalepenos- no black bean corn relish. But it was late and we were starving, and had already annoyed the bartender (who was also the server) so we didn't want to complain. I would go back during normal hours with their full menu. It has potential. (Side note: their seating is quite uncomfortable and tables are super wobbly, but that's not a deal-breaker).

However, I was a little disappointed with my take-out order. It's not the fact that is was prepared incorrectly, because the order was right, it's just underwhelming. The hummus was bland and flavorless, and the serving size was a joke (literally 2.5 tablespoons). The Bird and the Pig was mostly bread. Eh. I'll go again for a daytime coffee or a late nigh drink.

Good options for vegans, which is why our group came here. Avg price is $10 a plate. They also have coffee and beer. Great indie place to eat good food and chill. Just a 2018 update. This place is still awesome, and The Bird and Pig is still the sandwich I crave and can only get here! Not always the fastest, because even on a weeknight they will be packed. I've seen everything from anime to BMX playing on the screens above the bar and everything from rock to ska playing on the speakers x3 awesome.

Neat little dive with an interesting menu (see their entire section devoted to peanut butter). I had the Bagel Deluxe and added Ahi tuna. It was very delicious, and the quality of the tuna was superb. Unlike other reviewers, our service was very good and attentive, and there were multiple people filling our drinks and checking on us. The music was a little loud at lunchtime for my taste, but I will definitely be back. Fun spot in Ybor.

The price the food is for the portions is really inadequate. Unfortunately if you're a vegan stuck in Ybor you may have to go here for some food which isn't bad but not amazing either. The servers are real sweethearts though and very personable so I do give them kudos for that!

Busy and noisy at 12:30 lunch on a Tuesday. Quieter by one. Nice interior gastropub. My pork and arugala slaw sandwich was good. It came on a bun that was soft enough to pull apart easily. When I did so the levels stayed together. The texture and taste of both the sandwich and the slighly curried potato salad side were good. I found myself enjoying the overall experience and reluctant to leave. A good value at less than $10.

I have been going to Bricks the past to days to study in the art gallery room. The service has been great from everyone between the two bartenders and the food-runners. The chefs in the exhibition kitchen were cool as well. As an Ybor City resident, I always find really cool places to eat. The Bricks has always been one of these great places and here's why...The menu is always a delightful and healthy choice that meets my vegetarian dietary requirements. The service is always prompt and friendly. My buddy Drew and I can be seen in the photo I uploaded here with our server Milli. She was attentive and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy a nice meal. If I had to choose one negative about The Bricks, it would be the parking, but everyone who owns a business on 7th avenue is in the same boat so not really a big deal. I've been here at night on one weekend and it was a laid back experience with music and fun. I will look forward to visiting The Bricks in the future. You guys rock!

The Bricks is a really fun bar to visit whenever you're in Ybor. While it's not "fancy" by any means, it's still one of the more upscale/newer looking bars and the crowd is always fun. I've been to the Bricks several times going out and have eaten there too. The drinks are always mixed really well and the bar usually has some good specials going on every day. The bartenders are always really sweet like you're already friends with them, even if the place is slammed. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken to eat when I dined at the Bricks and honestly it was really good! I was kind of surprised. The Bricks doesn't have your standard "bar food." It's a step above that but not five-star dining by any means. But, the food is still pretty good for a place which is generally considered just a bar. I would definitely come back to try some of the other food. As far as the atmosphere goes, the Bricks is very unique. It's a skater bar so there are lots of artsy skateboards plastered on the walls and there's also art from local artists on the patio outside and in the bathrooms. All in all, a really good spot in Ybor that's a little bit away from the craziness of 7th Ave. but still a fun spot to hang out at.

The best authentic experience and food on Ybor strip. Very original and tastefully mindful in all food and drink, but what's them apart is there events here. One of a kind in Tampa and a staple in the skateboarding, music and arts scene. A definite go to while your in Tampa, look out for Kirsten she's an amazing bartender.

Cannot say enough about The Bricks! Stopped in for an upscale weekend lunch and we were not disappointed! The craft cocktails were amazing. I had the special: "Vegas" fantastic balance of rye, sweets and herbs (a strong whiskey flavor, but that is my preferred elixir). My wife had the "Huckle Punch" - huckleberry vodka, again perfectly combined with basil, pineapple and ginger (could be the best drink either of us have ever tasted). For our meal, the "Pig n Chick" and "The Cure". Again, balanced, intriguing and overall good. Rare to find a kitchen that can find a unique twist on a chicken salad and egg sandwich that actually enhances the dish more than confuses the palate. Fresh, orginal, and a must try for anyone in town looking for an experience worth talking about!

Came here on a Thursday night after 10:30PM. One of the only kitchens still open on 7th Ave, and good options too. Olive tapenade with crostini and Le Marie were both excellent. Music was not over powering and TVs were showing Matrix and Late Night with Conan, a welcome change from the constant sports coverage at other bars. Good vibe, highly recommend for a quieter night (there are plenty of loud bars further down 7th for those in need of audio overload).

A friend and I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and the portabelly. The grilled cheese sandwich is good, but the portabelly is excellent. Everything is fresh and crunchy. The bun for the portabelly is even toasted perfectly. I live in downtown Tampa and had never discovered this place in Ybor city. As a vegetarian, I will definitely go here again. One other thing, price is good too. Both sandwiches with two glass of peach ginger ice tea cost about $20. Well-done. 05-20-2013
