We ordered a calzone it was delicious!! Done to perfection- we are guests to the area and didn’t know where to order from- just picked this because it was close to our hotel. I highly recommend it!! In fact the day we ordered they were closing early because they had a huge order for 35, yes 35 pizzas!! They must be good. Fresh ingredients- we were impressed!! We like this pizza place so much we went back for a pizza this time - oh my, it melted in your mouth( can a pizza do that?) it was oh so very good. Perfect amount of cheese ratio to other ingredients- delivered piping hot. We enjoyed every bite!! Another 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Don’t worry, the whole pizza was presented before I took a slice. We order two sets of wings (Caramel buffalo and whiskey guava) and small Margherita pizza. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

I got a cheese pie and some meatballs. It was a Solid cheese pie, nothing to hit home about. The meatballs were good. Loved that they smothered them with cheese. Maybe I’ll come back and try their other pizzas

They have some unique pizza toppings. Tried the Balsamic Eggplant version. Good alternative from the regular pizza. But would have been better if it was a bit more crispy (and an extra ounce of cheese would make it taste even better)

Been driving by this place for what feels like years. Decided to give them a try and was very pleased and upset I didn’t try them sooner. They always seem so slow or empty when you drive by but the pizza definitely tastes of high end ingredients. I had the Tampa Cuban and hands down one of the best “Custom” pizza(for lack of a better term) I’ve had. Also got the typical pepperoni but the slices were large which was nice. Service was a bunch of younger guys and they were great.

Delicious pizza and excellent service! This wife-husband team will make you feel like you're part of their family. Their pizza crust is unique and made from scratch - I ate it all and I don't eat crust! The ingredients they use are fresh and the pizzas were ready pretty quickly. Prices are very reasonable too. I'm glad we found Robert & Kristen and their perfect pizza place in Tampa.

It’s decent pizza, not overly impressed with the Florentine, definitely could use some work, but the cheese pizza was okay. For us it was a 1 and done restaurant. We tried it randomly because of the name while driving along W Ken.

Nothing but great vibes and good people here! They were the only ones open within few mile radius from our hotel. Pizza was amazing! Wife and I nearly smashed the whole pie lol! It was so good! The garlic knots were flavorful as well! Zero complaints at all! Fresh food, tasted wonderfully and loved the people there. See y’all on the future!

These guys treated us like royalty. We asked on a local Facebook group what was a good family friendly restaurant and they mentioned South Tampa Pizza. Not only was the pizza fantastic but the customer service was even better. The two guys running the front (one of them was the owner) were super friendly and turned on a kids movie on the TV which helped keep my kids entertained. We didn’t ask for this; they just obliged. The cherry on the topping (literally), was a surprise cheesecake at the end...just because. That’s not normal customer service. So thank you guys so much for the hospitality! We appreciate you and we will be coming back.

Awesome place to eat New York style pizza. We got the hippie pizza and it was great. Friendly atmosphere and staff. I am diffinatly going back and better than Garmaldi's without the long wait.

Outstanding Pizza! We live over an hour away from here and found this place as we drove through Tampa and it was the BEST pizza made to order that we’ve ever eaten. Not only was the pizza outstanding the service was rememberable we were with our daughter who is special needs and they came to our table and gave her a tray of dough to play with. AMAZING! I was born and raised in Tampa and have tried so many pizzas! This pizza is sooooo good. I also had the Greek salad, cheese sticks, and cheese cake. Greek salad was hands down fantastic! Cheese sticks were ok. Cheesecake was very good! I hope this review helps 😁

Passing through Tampa and needed a quick bite with my 3 kids. The guy who took my order asked what movie they would like to be put on the tv.. I’ve never had a restaurant try to make me feel so at home. The pizza came out with a perfect crisp and the sauce was delicious. We ate the whole pie with no leftovers. The meatballs are fantastic too. Definitely recommend this place and want to say thank you for your hospitality!!!!

This is one of the Best Pizzerias 👌 I ordered the "Hippie In A Blanket" Calzone. It was hot, flavorful and delicious 😋 The calzone was so large it lasted me three days. Also the restaurant is clean along with a great customer service experience. When you crave Italian, this is the place to go.

I was honestly impressed with how good the pizza was. Even the calzone was cooked perfectly. The food was not a greasy mess like most places. They have pizza, calzones, stromboli, pasta and wings. The staff was kind and answered the questions we had. Worth a visit!!

Wow!! I am always searching for new pizza places. We love Gourmet, but you can't have that every week! This place was great! It was traditional pizza- we got a pepperoni and a combo (sausage, pepperoni, onion and peppers) They were both excellent! We had the garlic knots which were great. I like that they were smaller than usual ones, but they could use a little more garlic and salt. But no points off because the pizza was too good!

The new management has done a fantastic job! Some of the best pizza I’ve found in Tampa. You can tell the quality of ingredients truly is top notch! They also have some of the most unique pizzas I’ve ever tried. Their Hawaiian is a personal favorite. I also recently tried the Cuban sandwich pizza which was incredible and unlike any pizza I’ve ever tried. Will definitely be back!

This is the best pizza in Tampa!! We’ve lived in Tampa since 2011 and couldn’t find a place we loved, until we just decided to stop here on the way to the beach. That was our lucky day bc this is that perfect slice every single time!! We won’t eat pizza from anywhere else now. It’s a huge bonus that the guys who work here are super sweet and always helpful! This is that pizza that has the perfect amount of cheese , sauce, and seasoning with a crispy crust- do yourself a favor and get a slice.

Great pizza, bad service. The pizza was delicious and the dough wasn't oily, which I appreciated. Most pizzas are drenched in oil. The downside? We asked when placing the order over the phone if the delivery person would have cash and they said yes. But the delivery guy said he didn't. Great way to double your tips! Either the person on the phone didn't know or the delivery guy lied. Either way, it wasn't the service we expected.

Pizza was great and is perfect size for 2-3 people. Meatballs were good. Cheesesteak was really good too. Only criticism is that the cheese steak was almost $15 after adding mushrooms. Will definitely be back! Went back the other day after they changed name. Got a cheese steak again and it was disgusting, maybe worst cheese steak I've ever had

Coming from NJ this place has great pizza. Pretty authentic. Pizza is a little pricey, but worth it. Had their white pizza that was awesome. Not to be petty, but why is there a .95 cent charge for an online pick-up order? Maybe could see a delivery fee, but a fee for pick-up?? Sorry I don't like the fees.

Closest thing to Long Island pizza that ive found in Tampa. They do use a lottt of cheese, but i love that. Crust is nice and crispy and thin. Great pizza. Chicken parm sub was great as well. Staff are always friendly and the place is always clean. Highly reccommend

I ordered from this place on DoorDash. I travel a lot so I use DoorDash...this pizza place is fantastic. I called them after ordering through DoorDash to clarify a couple things on my order. The girl that answered was incredibly nice and helpful. When the food arrived everything was exactly how I asked it to be. You should order food from this restaurant!!

Visiting Tampa from Indiana and was looking for a non-chain takeout pizza for dinner. Alan's was only 2 miles from my hotel so I gave it a shot. The online ordering and pickup was easy (delivery is available but I wanted to pick it up myself). Crust is NY style and chewy. Toppings are plentiful. (Pepperoni slices looked like salami slices and the sausage was sliced too, much to my surprise.) I ordered a large for myself because I was worried they might not be generous with the toppings. I ate half...and would have struggled to finish a 12". Well done, Alan.
