They have a nice variety of food and all of it seems to be prepared well with fresh ingredients. It's a bit expensive for Greek fast food but other than that I don't have many complaints. The fries are better than McDonald's if that counts for anything.

Had some good eats on Sunday. Fried fish, Fried Shrimp and Onion rings Food was hot. They are busy as hell late nights but they move food fairly quick.

Great place when craving some food and looking for reasonable prices and consistent quality. Love that it's open late night as this is the right place to go for some late night grub. The philly is tasty. The fries when fresh done right. The fish And gyro is also decent as well. Simply put. This is fast food done right.

Always friendly service, & hot fresh food with plenty of flavor. I’ve never tried burgers, always fish or shrimp. Sometimes fries, sometimes blackened. Veggies were great too! A little bit of waiting, but it’s cooked to order, so I don’t mind. I upgraded from tilapia to Basa and Veggies, with soda and tax, just under $20

June 2022: Always fresh. If the line is long, just go inside. They never disappoint. December 2022: Ordered the rice bowl with shrimp. It was decent. The rice was a tad overcooked for me and it lacked a pinch or salt. Otherwise it was flavorful and filling. January 2023 Ordered wings and fries fried hard. The chicken was perfect, the fries were still too soft for me. I think they forgot to cook them extra hard, but they were ok. I also ordered fried oysters. They were good and fried fresh.

Found this little jewel as we were feignin for lunch on a Saturday. The drive through was PACKED! Went inside and ordered the wings and a side salad. Oh my, my, my, those wings were delish! The fried chicken sandwhich was very good. I saw the shrimp bowl after I had ordered and now I know I must return from Clearwater. Your staff was kind and interactive. They were also attentive to our needs. The drink dispenser went goofy and the cashier immediately took care of it so our food didn't get cold. I would make the drive just to eat here and I never say that about fast food. This is good food...and made my stomach smile! Thanks Salem's!!

Im used to going to Salem's on my way out of town heading home. This time, I brought my husband with me for his first time. Place is clean, staff is prompt at the register. Only this time there was a loud employee talking to another from the order window which made it hard for us to place our order. Didnt look appropriate and their conversation should've been a little more discreet. If it wasnt for their excellent gyros, we wouldve left. He ordered his gyro with extra meat and it was very filling. Will of course go back, but maybe through the drivethru.

Salem's is a stalle in Tampa fast food, the variety of options for the price is unmatched, if you liked Miami Subs you'll love Salem's. Last time there I had their Philly, delish!

So I adventured in to Salem's on East Hillsborough and 40th and there food was amazing hot fresh gyro with fries. I never second guess the taste was spot on clean atmosphere. So stop on by there and grab you some good eats!!!! 💯 And service was fast and great thanks lady's... …

A great restaurant with GREAT fast food. The seafood and burgers definitely is premium. Get the baked tilapia. 😋 Also this restaurant has a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine so there's plenty of soft drink options, especially for people like me who don't like soda. overall I think you will be very satisfied with this restaurant and its food. Definitely one of the best fast food restaurants that ever been to.

They're lines are always long and half the time my order is wrong and I have to go back. Maybe I'm to picky but I want my order correctly bc I'm paying money for it. Few times some of the girls have bad attitudes but I guess that's just our nature. I wrote the review then went and they still got my order wrong and it to late at night to be going back perfect example!!! They went from 4 stars to 3

Salem’s is always spot on for the price. Love the number 8. I get hot cause the “hot” isn’t so bad after all. The chicken is real and not processed chicken nuggets. Its always consistent and delicious. I recommend extra seasoning on the fries. Yummy. Customer service is ok. But the food out weighs so you get 5 stars. Ill be back for lunch . See you soon Salem.

Stopped here for a quick bite before heading to Busch Gardens. The food was hot and fresh but could have more seasoning. We ordered a philly w/fries, 5 piece wings combo, kids chicken bites and fried shrimp paid $50. I think the food is decent but the taste should match the price.

The chicken taste great. I've placed an order of 25 piece of bar B que with some blue cheese and was great? The place is a little bit small, but just good enough if you decide to eat inside. The prices are not bad at all. The parking lot is also small, but the food does make up for the other things. Fast service is always a good thing. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I hope this helps you decide, you should try them out if you never been here before.

I've driven by these restaurants many times but just never stopped in. First impressions was it was clean and the people were very friendly. I studied the menu for a few and noticed they had a steak n cheese which I'd been hankering for a bit. I got it as a combo with soda and fries. As I sat down I commented to an employee that the food must be good enough for you to eat here. He laughed, every day he said. We had a nice discussion about some of the things it takes to keep the quality of the restaurant. While I was enjoying my sub he came to my table with a complimentary piece of strawberry cheese cake. Wow, thank you! Can I ask your name ? He says Salem, and points to the sign. I'm impressed, what a sincerely nice guy that would take the time and talk to a customer. I figured after listening about the 1/3 lb burger that he was eating I would take one to go for later. Thank you Salem, it was a pleasure to meet you and see your passion for sharing good food with others.

For a change of pace from the rest of the fast food chains, Salem's is a nice choice. Order a gyro, fish, shrimp, a bowl, or even a burger, their menu has a nice selection to choose from. Glad to see more are popping up in the Bay area.

Great food. Love the fries! My kids love their milkshakes. The service at this particular Salem's was top notch when I was there. They were fast and friendly. The drive thru was being washed by hose and that man was careful around my car. Overall great service and great gyros and fries, as usual.

This would be my second time eating food from salem's and my suggestion to them would be to start cutting up the ingredients in their salads up a bit more (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) . The salad was fresh but I ended up having to take it home and chop it up into smaller pieces. The fish and shrimp platters are always delicious.

Food is always great, little on the higher side of price for a fast food cheesesteak. I've come here multiple times over the last year and there are never jalapeño poppers and a few other appetizers available, whether due to not in supply or just lazy employees not wanting make them due to not being a popular item. Have had a couple mis-orders of having items not removed or added when requested.

Prices seem to be a little better than they were facilities very clean and well maintained but there wasn't information about the shrimp bowl being extremely spicy so be prepared if you like spicy the shrimp bowl is your thing I had a good flavor but the jalapenos was too much for me. I would have liked to see an indicator on the menu showing it was a spicy item or more information

I live 6 minutes from this location and I was sad that our our gyros was cold and were soggy . I also asked for cocktail sauce for my fried shrimp and utensils and didn't receive the sauce or the utensils...The food was well done so I made consider returning .

3.5 stars. Salem's has came a long way and stuck around. You pay your employees fairly. I see why, because you keep your drive thru busy. I been coming for over 20 years now. I can't diet because of the addiction to your french fries and that blue cheese. I can say that you have cut the salt down on your wings which is nice. For the neighborhood give back program, can we see some coupons deals (weekly). Get them in the mail or at purchase counter. Like 10 wings n fries $12

I had their new dish (new to me) shrimp dinner in a bowl. The shrimp were a nice medium size, the rice with black beans, mushrooms, peppers and onions were well seasoned and all gelled together to provide a very tasty meal. I will definitely purchase again.

The chicken was dry and all over the place I have tips by its self in my tray had no mild sauce on it the fries was ok..The customer service sucked she came to the window got my money said nothing then some other female came and gave me my food and walked off never again at this location. In town visiting. Please be sure to check this location out. The shrimp were fired to perfection. I must admit though the fries weren't nearly as good. But who's going to a seafood location for fries. Will be visiting again to explore other options they serve.

The food was made wrong after a really long wait. I got mozzarella sticks and was given some nasty hot sauce with them. Couldn't even eat the sauce was way to spicy I was very disappointed to not eat them without sauce they're too dry.

This place is usually fast & efficient. This last visit was not so. I had to wait 15 minutes after I ordered (no one was ahead of me in the drive-thru line) My order wasn't complete (they forgot to include the fries, the lemon pepper wings were over seasoned making the wings very very salty. I would have returned my order but I live over 25 minutes away & the traffic was heavy. From this point on, I will do a complete check (including sampling the order) before leaving the premises.

This place has great food but my last experience was not right in my eyes. Me and my wife ordered the fish platter. Someone had already ordered before we did but left it. They asked everyone what's there name and etc. This order sat up there UNTIL we ordered. They tried to give me the old order fish combo, that someone left. Just didn't like it how they tried us

I treated myself to a half pound of gizzards. What I received was chewy on the outside, tender on the inside and well breaded/seasoned. I'm definitely going back next time I want to treat myself to some quality gizzards.

I wanted to update this because my mom and I have been going here at least twice a week the two months. They have been great and particularly Ashley. She is wonderful and remembers us when we come. I wont be coming as frequently now that my car is fixed so I wont be with my mom (who comes all the time) but I wanted to take the time to praise this location.

The food is usually pretty good. There are quite a few times they messed up my order and got home without my food I ordered. Or cooed it completely different than I asked for. Also if you pay with your debit card in the drive thru, be careful. They will charge you twice and then you have to go through a bunch of junk to get your money back. The one on Fletcher is much better.

I ordered using the drive thru. Received my order fairly quickly. I ordered two gyro combos with sweet tea drinks. My food was delicious. My co-worker enjoyed her food too. The staff was very friendly. I enjoy this place.

The food is always good. The issue I have with a lot of these types of restaurants is the wait time whether I go through the drive-thru or inside appears to be short-staffed and very busy even and non-peak hours between 2:00 and 4:00. I do enjoy the food it is good quality and a lot of it however when I'm in a rush or need to get in and out as quick as possible it seems like there's always a long delay or take long time to get my order efficiently

I order a shrimp bowl with lite blacks and rice with shrimp(no peppers, no onions or mushrooms) 2nd order grilled chicken bowl all the way with no salt or seasoning. I was given a chicken bowl with no veggies and salty grilled chicken. I didn't have time to wait for them to correct the order. The person who took the order didn't even put it on the ticket. The person at the window asked me what I ordered, she obviously didn't take the order. They need to listen, focus more and repeat the order back. I've had too many bad experiences here.

Sales is always hit or miss but when it hits its amazing, they used to season the fries somewhat buy you have to ask or they will be plain. They also have Pepsi products so no more Fanta and choices are.almost.nonexistent.i go as a last resort with all of the changes and rising prices

Love the food! My complaints are when you order 15 shrimp, a bucket of scallops, 2 fish and a fish meal, they only want to give you 4 tartar sauce if you lucky then if you buy extra you won't get what comes with the meal, really after what I have just paid for the entire meal. Its a ripoff. I walk with 4 anyway and all the complaining does nothing they don't care.

I love the food here! It's not an every day meal but when you get a craving for some chicken, fish, gyros this is the place. Food is good and the workers do try to enforce the mask policy but not everyone does it. I didn't see anyone clean the soda area and all customers are required to get their own drinks at 1 area. Better try the drive thru.

Those traditional wings are the bomb! With sauce or without sauce, the flavor is amazing. They fry them crispy to perfection, just like I like them. Day or night, I have yet to be disappointed by the wings. The shrimp gyro is good and filling. It eats like a meal, not just a sandwich. The fries and tilapia also taste great. I get extra seasoning on the fish and hits all the taste buds just right.

I like the updates in the guest area. Very clean and inviting. Only issue I had was the wait for take out. It was much longer than I expected, but then again, I just came off of I4 where the traffic was bumper to bumper and a 1 hour drive took 2 hours, so maybe it was just my impatience 🤔. Best thing, ladies at the counter were courteous and friendly, and the food was hot, fresh and tasty. I could not have been more satisfied. Thank you!! 👍👍👍👍👍

My family and I were waiting 30+ minutes for our food... and when we asked what was taking so long they told us they didn't have the whole order ready and they'd give us fresh fries like "what???" Everything better be fresh not just the fries LADY!!! We got a refund and got out of there so fast if i had a wig on it would've flew off lol now i love me some gyros but that experience had me upset. The only place I will ever buy gizzards. Hadn't been here in years and I was happy to find that their food was still fantastic. Wings are one of a kind. Lost 1 star because the blue cheese that came with it was warm and kind of funky. Double check the BC and it's a 5 star wing joint!

I didn't visit today, but, the time when I did the food itself was not bad for fast. However the carrot cake was a different story, so I can't recommend any desserts. The prices: for the food, reasonable; for the desserts not so much. Which is why I don't give it more than 3 stars.

We love this place. One of the best Fast Foodie's in Tampa Bay. The Fish Platters were Awesome and I don't like Fish Mostly!!😂😍. The Grilled choices were cooked correctly (that from my Filipina Wife Wee-Wilma! And She knows How to Cook Stinky Dried Fish). Yucky 🤮 She can have that kind! 😂. Oh, all the Sides were Great too. This place we directly across from our Air B&B. After driving across town to a late night restaurant and finding out it was more of a bar/club atmosphere we came back to Salem's. Very tasty. We had the original gyro and 12' Philly steak sandwich. Takes a few minutes to get your food not not horribly long. They have a good range of items to choose from. Great if you have a family who are all wanting to eat different things.

My all time favorite butter pecan shake was out, however the service is okay. Not as quick as fast food would expect, but it gets the job done. The food is pretty good and the food tastes like it wasn't bagged or taken from out of a vat of old refrigerator water.

First time eating here today. Grilled fish caesar salad was absolutely delicious, the gyro and philly I picked up for co-workers also received rave reviews. Only reason for 4 stars is the wait - after I place my order at the drive through it was 25 minutes until my food was ready, actually went inside to see what the issue was, and a lady then brought out the order, no comments or apologies from any employee about the wait. Closing time is 4am on Saturdays. At 3:20am, I decided to get wings and fries through the drive thru. To speed up the process, there are people standing outside holding menus at the beginning of the drive thru to place the order so the wait time is much faster than wait times for this type of food. Ordered 10 wings and fries ( honey barbecue and lemon pepper) and was out of the line in less than 15 minutes and it was pretty busy inside and out.

Literally just left this location last night with a smile on my face!! It's been awhile since I've been here and I wanted a chicken gyro tonight (alongside a few other menu options). I called in and a lady on the phone by the name of , Amy" was very patient with me while I tried to remember off the top of my head some of the menu items, I did not feel rushed or pressured to hurry and Order. But that's not why I gave them a 5-star tonight! Besides the awesome food, once I did arrive to pick up my food that I had ordered (via drive-thru) Amy had remembered that I didn't remember much of the menu so she offered to give me a menu out of the store! I obliged and thought that was pretty cool that she remembered her call-in customers at the same value that you would remember a person dining in.. That' GREAT customer service along with GREAT FOOD! I also ordered fried mushrooms whcih weren't my favorite but still tasty. The fried gizzards were the best I have had in a long time. Only place I go for gyros in Tampa. Best and most consistent flavor in town. Their tzatziki is on point! I even use it to dip my french fries in. And you gotta love that they're one of the only joints that carry cherry fanta out the fountain. Only place I gots to get a soda w my meal. They got a great variety of other food. All kinds. It's just I rarely get tired of the gyros so most of the other stuff doesn't get ordered on the reg. But every time I do, I dont regret it. They're buffalo shrimp is off the chain too. Some locations used to be dirty with unprofessional customer service. Bit they have cleaned up their locations big time. In terms of hygiene/cleanliness and in professional friendly and prompt customer service. Guess they wisened up a couple of years ago and realized peoples standards went up and they aren't going to spend their hard earned money on dirty kitchen and a rude staff. Thanks you corporate for realizing the problem. Thank you management for enforcing the changes. And especially thank you regular employees who keep the whole thing running and taking pride in your jobs and serving every plate promptly, well prepared and with a smile. My favorites are the number 8; Boneless Buffalo Chicken extra sauce fried hard. 😁 Honestly, I was a little disappointed when they took away the smoothies, but Salem (Carlos) gave me a generous sample of what's new to Salems. Deeeeelicious seafood and gyros! The Tilapia is sooo good! As is the shrimp. Even the French fries are above average. I'd give it 5 stars, but i feel it's a little bit overpriced. Plus, the wait in the drive-thru is almost always too long. But, that's just a testament to how good the food is at Salem's! We eat here as a treat bc it's too pricey to eat here regularly. The flavor is worth it though! P.s. i hope they get rid of the Styrofoam cups and containers someday soon.

I've been eating here for the past year sometimes 3-4 times a week. Always the #1. 1/2 lb Grilled Talapia with fries and a drink. This is hands down the best, most perfectly seasoned fish every time I order. The wait in the drive thru is always worth it. Even if on average (on busy ass nights) is over 20 mins. I catch up on Insta and whatnot. DON'T MISS THIS GEM OF A PLACE FOR GREAT FRESH FOOD (this is my kind of fast food, as I don't eat garbage like McDonalds 😝) and I'm willing to wait for fresh real food.

They told me that there was no sweet tea and I had to wait 45mins than when I was pulling off the girl hands me a sweet tea with a very rude attitude and I waited 30mins for my food not to be right and over cooked chicken strips
