I went with my sister and we had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and very thought out. All the flavors were so complex and really blew us away. Our waiter and wait staff were so knowledgeable of the food and took the time to explain everything. Overall one of the best dining experiences I have ever had.

Our first time here and super impressed. How did it not even get a star?!? The food is super creative and everything tasted great. Even better, it’s not pretentious, the wait staff, hostess are all super friendly. The food here can rival many Michelin restaurants we’ve been to. We originally came to do the tasting menu but then saw their regular menu, which looked amazing! We’ll be back for the tasting menu and more.

Simply put... amazing! The food not only exceeded my expectations, but surpassed them. Great Happy Hour menu, there was no wait to be seated at the bar and the bar staff were great to chat with. The helped us pick out some delicious dish items (Crispy Chicken thighs and the Cobia Collar are a must try) and fancy cocktails. The place is very selective about their spirits, which I actually found refreshing and forces you to try new things. I will say, be prepared to spend quite a bit, but believe me, it's worth it!

We had our date night at Rooster and the Till tonight and did their Degustation Menu. Ho. Ly. Cow. Everything was so delicious. Hugo was an awesome server and Benny was so nice and friendly. When you come, make sure you get the seating that overlooks the kitchen! Such a unique experience. Cool vibes, the most delicious food and amazing service. Loved their Zero Proof menu too! Can’t wait to go back.

We did the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Every dish was pure art and delicious. The level of care taken with each part of plating these dishes was truly incredible and I cannot wait to go back and do the tasting menu again.

WOW, Amazing place to experience real good food. Don't go there to eat, go there to enjoy good food, amazing atmosphere, and phenomenal service. Second to none. You can see the artists working from the table and believe me, you will be amazed. Try it it's worth it. We did the 6 course tasting menu and will go back.for more.

Among the 3 to 5 best restaurants in the Tampa Bay region. Really hard to pick just one among the growing number of amazing local restaurants. So much passion and execution. Whether happy hour, brunch, tasting menu…lots of great ways to enjoy this restaurant. They’ve added a liquor license too. Whether you’re a local or visitor, this is a must go to restaurant.

I tried the happy hour slot (5-6:30 pm). They are first-come-first-served based and unfortunately they have like 10/15 seats for happy hour so if you are arrive later than 5/5:15 it's probably going to be difficult to find a spot. Definitely worth it, food in Tampa is rarely good as in here, almost gourmet. I am going to try a standard dinner for sure (and you can book a table for it). Absolutely recommend but pay attention on time slots and availability!
4 stars just because they have few seats for happy hour experience, but it's going to be a 5 (for sure) once that I'll have tried a dinner.

The service was excellent. The food is definitely a unique culinary experience.
One thing that we ordered was the crispy chicken thighs which came to us uncooked, but it was corrected and we got a new order which tasted great.
The eggplant raviolo was on the bland side and was ok. The white asparagus tasted great but the asparagus itself was a bit stringy. The cheese plate was excellent with the fried sourdough. The best dish we had was the smoked beets which was delicious.
Overall, the experience is good.

Our first time. We sat at the bar and got to order from the complete menu. The drinks are small but very tasty. The bar atmosphere was fun. The bartenders where exceptional. I liked that they let us share our meal seared scallops & gnocchi. They didn’t bring it out together which made an excellent experience enjoying each meal separately. Both dishes had really unique flavors. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Sat at the counter, had a great view of the action. They run a tight ship! Menu is concise but many options for all kinds of eaters. Loved the crispy chicken thighs! The asparagus, beets, and gnocchi (all different dishes) were also superb. Will definitely return.

We had a great experience at the Rooster & the Till last weekend. We had the tasting menu, and even though they looked small, at the end I was very full. Every plate was well thought, delicious and lots of different tastes. We were hosted by Alisha, she was great, helping us. The drinks were amazing too. It's a keeper!

Delicious meal. We are visiting from San Francisco and we were very happy with our entire meal and experience. Lots of gluten free options in addition to being able to make modifications to a free more items.
Really wish the tasting menu has gluten free because it looked amazing.

The food here is amazing, and the presentation is awesome. I like the chef's ideas and the mixing of different ingredients. It is a bit pricy for what you get. If you keep this in mind, knowing you're going to have to spend quite a bit for an evening here, you'll have a nice time. The atmosphere is a bit tight but decorated nicely with modern art and furnishings. The service was good, but a bit stoic, robotic.

The entire tasting menu was not only delicious but creative, clever, and beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience there and ate every morsel. There was so much flavor and texture in each dish. Mmmm! The attention to details and the knowledge our service attendants had with each plate were impeccable! Thank you for making our little wedding anniversary dinner date quite a delightful culinary experience! We will be back!

Still thinking about the smoked beets a day later. And the cobia. Wow. Get them. Especially at happy hour prices. They encourage you to eat the cobia with your hands and provide wipes afterwards, which is a nice touch. Service was great.
The fried chicken, gnocchi, and cream puffs were a miss for us. The chicken thigh was tough and weirdly game-y. I was excited about the tom kha vinaigrette, but it was so vinegar-y it was hard to enjoy. The gnocchi frankly looked unappetizing and did not taste much better. Not sure if it was just an off day given how much others here seem to have liked the gnocchi.
Everything’s a small plate, and some items do feel small for the price - the chicken and scallops are like $10 apiece.

Had a belated 60th birthday celebration last night at what I consider to be the best restaurant in all of Tampa Bay, if not all of Florida, at Rooster & The Till. The food was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and the dishes were spaced to make the entire evening flow like fine wine (which was being generously poured as well). Do yourself a favor. Go here. Go here as often as you can. I guarantee you'll savor every single bite.

Wow - just about everything ......
Only 2.minor negatives - strip center was an old and beat down place and you walk into a pretty noisy spot - and the food was salty. (but YUM)
Appetizer - Miyakazi hand roll mushroom and umi in fresh leaf - explosion of flavors spectacular!!
Veggie side -. Smoked beets w/carrot muhamura - also excellent
Main - small plate But big portion - cobia cheek - served in a delicious broth
Scallops in a delicious lamb broth - so unusual and delicious.
Gnocchi was with prepared with shredded lamb - very good but not as spectacular as the appetizer and veggie and cobia
Seared foie gras - this was billed as "dessert" by the server .... But not in our opinion. It was on the menu with the small plates and was def savory. Very good - very rich
Overall an excellent meal
We would make the trip from Sarasota to come again...

Excellent experience through and through. My husband and I started at the bar and had a wonderful conversation w/ the beverage program manager whose creativity and palate is top notch. Don’t sleep on her Daiquiri! Our friends joined us a bit later and we sat down for a fantastic dinner. The service was so elevated and personal, everything was cooked and plated to perfection. Can’t say enough about the entire staff (special shout out to our server, Bri!) The hype around this place is very real, and often where there’s hype, there can be a certain attitude among staff that feels unwelcoming and haughty… not a whiff of that here. This place was truly snubbed by Michelin — but at least there’s the Bib Gourmand nod.

One of Tampa’s few culinary experimental places, didn’t receive a Michelin star in 2022 when Tampa got on the guide but made it on the notables list. Great tapas and tasting menu with some interesting wines.
They recently added a happy hour which makes the wine greatly priced and some apps half off so far more reasonable. Haven’t been yet to see how portions are affected.
We’ve done a few of the tasting menus but I really wish they’d change up the a la carte menu seasonally so there were more options to try. The tasting menu can be a little outlandish and the wife isn’t on board to try them all.

Really fun dining experience at rooster and the till!! It’s a unique and relatively pricey experience but it’s absolutely worthwhile! This is my first time trying New American cuisine, and it was so neat! I loved the various flavors and textures of the dishes we tried. The food is served tapas/small plates style, so everybody shares the various dishes (think dimsum style dining). Our server, Katie(?), was very pleasant and helpful with deciding dishes to try. I cannot wait to be back and try their other stuff!!

We went back to Rooster & the Till last night after many years and had a wonderful time!
The standout dishes were the seared fois gras with cashew nutella and short-rib gnocchi. The service was excellent. They also comped our dessert as an anniversary gift and gave us a card signed by all the staff.
Highly recommend for a special evening.

So excited to have been a part of Rooster and the Till's first Guest Chef Dinner of 2022, welcoming the incredibly talented Chef Matt Baker of Gravitas in DC. Every course was perfection, from the tuna sashimi (one of the most popular menu staples from Gravitas, and for good reason!) to the foie gras cannolis (sweet and salty creations with foie gras mousse, porcini mushroom powder, white chocolate, and caviar). Congratulations to the team at Rooster and the Till for 9 years of hard work, creativity, and passion for the culinary arts: it truly shines in everything they do!

Service was ok.
Food was good.
Excellent music.
A bit overpriced!
I recommend the wine tasting better than the cocktails.
450 for 2 fixed menu and drinks (20% gratitude included)

We really enjoyed the food and the service. The wait staff and the bartender were all top-notch, very knowledgeable, and supper attentive. I can see they really do a great job on selecting good talents and training.
The food was very well prepared with great ingredients! It was a very special dining experience!!
The only things that may make the dining experience even better:
1. Lighting: It must be beautiful in summer when the light comes in through large glass windows. But, it is a bit too dark in winter. I think there should be more lighting to really showcase the food being served!!
2. Slower explanation: Sorry it may seem so trivial, but both of us in the party thought that they wait staff had to describe the food very fast because there was so much to say. So, it was hard to catch it all. Since you spend so much on the ingredients and preparation, we would have liked to hear everything that was said about the food.
Thank you for reading!

One word: delightful! We had such a nice time! We came for my wife's birthday and had decided to go for the chef's menu with the wine pairing, no doubt! We arrived and were sat quickly, the service was great and the six course six wine experience started right away! Let me tell you, what an experience! My favorite were the first three dishes, the lamb, a wrap, and a succulent sea bass! This was my first real wine pairing experience and I enjoyed it very much! Those two hours savoring delicious dishes went by quickly! At the end, for the last course, they were so nice to place a candle on my wife's plate and gifted us a card with well wishes from all the staff, that was so unexpected and really nice! We loved our experience! This was a $400+ experience, but it was fantastic!

Good times with good vibes! Enjoyed our experience at the kitchen bar watching the chefs prep and cook. The kitchen seemed to really care and do their work like it's an art.
Service knew every ingredient and placement on the dishes and very dish was excellent.
Our server, Gabby, was absolutely sweet and amazing. Never a moment we sat looking for her, dirty dishes in front of us, nor we're out waters empty.
Would definitely do it again for a special date nights with the girls or partners.

One of the best culinary experiences in Tampa. Give your taste buds the experience of ecstasy and come here.
TallyTastingTampa
The best restaurant in central Florida! The chef is a genius and is Michelin star worthy. The menu is fun, tasty, quirky, and creative. They're using exciting ingredients and doing what no one else is doing in Tampa! Excellent food! Definitely worth trying out. Check out their reasonably priced tasting menu.

My wife and I alternate between evenings with the tasting menu and evenings with a server guided selection of different plates. We paired the tasting menu with wine on our last visit. Describing the dishes here can be a bit of a challenge. This is not traditional restaurant fare. You will enjoy wonderful textures and tastes that come alive in your mouth. Think of a group of musical instruments you're not familiar with becoming a symphony after you close your mouth. The servers are very knowledgeable. It's clearly part of the delivery model to have servers well prepared to describe and guide clients through options. Alicia is a charming expert! If an open mind is required, it relates to atmosphere. This restaurant is busy with people, sounds and sights. It would probably not be my first choice for intimate conversation, business or pleasure. That's no criticism. Trying to be for every person, or every situation, results in a restaurant that's really for nobody at all. This is a must see, must taste, must visit, high end service and food experience that's become a regular "go to" for our family.

We got the cheese duo (the artichoke and fondue was the highlight, the Brie was delicious as well), the cobio collar (best of the night in my opinion - fish tender & juicy and the nước chấm was on point), the crispy chicken thighs (perfectly seared and the sauce reminds me of a childhood memory with coconut milk & lemongrass), the gnocchi (filling but heavy), the seared foie Gras (it was paired nicely with huckleberry gastrique and vanilla pear), and the sugared cream puffs (who doesn’t like puffs? Fluffy, filled with decadent custard, and the espresso caramelia sauce really complemented it well).
David Witt
Book the seats overlooking the kitchen. It was great to see the amount of TLC the chefs put into each dish. Huge kudos to the culinary staff.
The service was very helpful in their recommendations on the amount of portions and what to order to our particular tastes
(The gnocchi didn’t even need gnocchi, I’d eat the sauce on its own.)
The food came out quickly and with enough time between dishes so you can breathe/look forward to what’s coming next. We thought the portion sizes were just right!
Leave room for dessert, the donut holes were a perfect way to end the meal.
I’d give more stars if I could. We will be back!
Michelle Del Rosario
Amazing atmosphere with delicious, new foods. Will definitely return for the tasting menu!

I’ve heard of many tales of the excellent food served at this Tampa staple but words could not give justice to the meal I enjoyed on a late last minute reservation this Saturday night. If you like expanding your palate come to this restaurant ASAP! The entire staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. You will leave feeling like royalty 5 stars isn’t enough. Cheers!

The most unique upscale and stylish dining experience. I loved everything we ordered! We had no idea what we ordered until it came out but each dish was tantalizing to our tastebuds. I didn’t get pics of all the amazing dishes because we couldn’t want to taste them, but I did get a pic of dessert. This is a hidden gym in Seminole heights and I highly recommend for date nights and special events. I promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised as will your tastebuds. This has easily become one of my favorite restaurants in Tampa Bay.
Steven Kusmierczyk
Very nice menu. Enjoyed their prix fixe offering on 11/22. Chef brought an explosion of flavor with Uni Tarte and continued throughout the evening. I would have given all 5's, but the restaurant did get a little loud at times to the point it was difficult to hold a conversation. If you're looking for great culinary experience, Rooster & the Till will not disappoint.
Yvonne Wasif
The most flavorful delicious tasting menu I’ve ever had. Each dish got better than the last. The food was just mind-blowing! My only complaint is that the portions were way too small. If heaven had a flavor, this would be it.
Brandylyn Landers
Visited last night, enjoyed the tasting menu. Food was great, lamb was my favorite of the six courses. Service was exceptional (Carol) and I give an extra nod to being able to enjoy a quality Americano after my meal. Thank you, Rooster & Till.
Chase Price
This place is pretty expensive for the price. But food is excellent and service is really good. Drinks are alright, and the dessert is not the most impressive. But you get to experience unique and exceptional flavor combinations. Nice atmosphere but uncomfortable seating. I would recommend for a date night.

Absolutely loved my first visit to this incredible creative and fun restaurant in north Tampa. Even better enjoyed a fabulous chef dinner with DC-based Michelin chef, Matt Baker, along with Rooster’s chef / owner Ferrell Alvarez, at a fantastic 6 course dinner with amazing food and wine pairings. I can’t wait to come back.
R Vuillermet
Outstanding on all counts . The service, the food, the place - Michelin may have underscored this place -but undoubtedly deserving of the Bib Gourmand . We tried so many dishes between the three of us because we were so intrigued- and as each dish came out we could not resist wanting to try more dishes so we ordered more . A couple of times we reordered dishes cause we just could not get enough they were so good . The service matches the food and the passionate enthusiasm spills all over without being Ubiquitous.

Not to be missed
Date night with my gorgeous ❤️wife❤️ at our favorite restaurant in Tampa. We splurged and had the Chef Degustation menu. We did our own wine pairing. We both agreed this was the BEST dinner we’ve had here and that is saying a lot. Chef Ferrell has out done himself with this Indian inspired menu. The 1st course of lamb tataki, pistachio green harissa and whipped tahini beetroot was over the top! Spicy yet flavorful. No game or lamb taste it was as if we were eating a filet. Superb! The 2nd to last dish of whipped goat cheese, rhubarb nectar, burnt carrot genache and lavosh topped with black pepper was my next favorite. Incredible the way it all comes together and taste like a rich pumpkin pie. One of the benefits of city living, great restaurants, great chefs and great food!

First time eating there after following them on IG for about a year. OMG, their food is delicious. A little expensive but the flavors and presentations are worth it. Entree’s are served as small plates so you’ll order a few and most likely share bites with each other. I think my party of 3 ordered 6 plus dessert. Fun experience and top notch food.

Was not a bad meal, good even, however I was not overwhelmed with either the food or service. The Cobia collar was the stand out dish of the evening, and was very very tasty. The pork belly was very good, albeit a hair on the salty side, with the grits and pickles just barely cutting through the XO presentation. The caulilini, although good, seemed small and overpriced compared to the other items, leaving me feeling like the dish should have been just a little bigger. The dumplings were fine, but also left me with the impression that I could have had something very similar elsewhere, with a much larger portion for a considerably lower price. The foie gras was surprisingly my least favorite item of the evening. The center was perfect, however the outer edges were a touch overcooked, and a little bitter. The preserved strawberry paired well, but I could have used a bit more to offset the edges of the foie. The waffle under the foie was dry, heavy, and not very good. I would have vastly preferred some simple crispy toast. Service was fine, however I got the impression that the waiter could tell I was "whelmed" with most of the experience, and that he was likewise mutually "whelmed" with me... The chef/owner was very nice and did his best to engage when he had a few seconds.

Super fun and high energy tampa gem, I was comfortable dressing semi casual for a unique dining experience and watch the open kitchen concept throughout the entire making of my food. I was pleased with the staff maintaining proper mask wearing, kitchen was impressively clean considering the amount of patrons to serve, and even had some social engagement with kitchen staff which connected me more to what was prepared for me. The menu was simple yet left some curiosity for how each dish was prepared, ultimately incentivized me to order multiple places as its best to enjoy more tapas style . The ingredients were fresh and each dish had a notions of art in its presentation.
Kelly S
This spot has always been my favorite place to eat in Seminole Heights but the new menu additions are so incredible that now it is one of my favorites in Tampa. The beets and gnocchi are my 2 favorites.
Joy G
This place gets very busy and noisy so the best time to go there for dinner is around 6pm. You can smell whatever is cooking in the kitchen all around the restaurant. They have a nice selection of wines, beers and only a handful of cocktails. The menu has some interesting items too. The chef is very creative with the ingredients and the interesting flavors come through in every bite. Our waiter Peter was very nice and patient with us. He’s very knowledgeable about the dishes too even though they seem to change the menu pretty often. We had the oysters, beet salad, the cheese platter, a pasta dish and a fish dish. We tried a couple of different deserts as well. Overall a good experience!

A welcoming atmosphere, a friendly and informative staff, and creative dishes beautifully prepared! Whoever crafted the 6 course tasting menu is a true artist and I have never been more impressed!! (Terminator voice) I'll be back....

Just amazing!! Enjoyed the experience immensely and the food even more. It, to me is an American take on a Yakitori small plate restaurants found in the small towns in Japan. Very creative, spiced just right and properly portioned. My best dining experience in quite awhile. I was by myself, so I was seated front and center at the kitchen bar and was able to enjoy the cooking and prep work. Great wine list, but only served beer and wine. It would have been perfection if they had a full bar.
Tanya Lawrence
Have never had anything but a stellar experience here. Sat at the bar on my most recent dining experience and it was one of the best. Wine list was lovely and the recommendations issued out by the bartender were excellent! R+T currently has one of the most delicious menus on I've ever seen; there wasn't a single plate that I thought "oh I could have done without that..." Continually impressed, and can't wait to revisit.
Lenka Novotna
Excellent food and service!!! Definitely will be coming back!
Casey DeBord (Casey)
We went for our first time for a date night and it was a good experience. The food was a bit pricey for the portion sizes and the gaps in between plates was so long we were left feeling hungry most of the time. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable.
Alex Rose
I went back tonight to give Rooster & the Till another go, and wow, was I impressed. The service was attentive, helpful, and polished. The food was tasty, unique, and served in the perfect order. I will most certainly be back and am happy to raise my rating to 5 stars.
We sat down at the bar overlooking the chef's station. The waitress greeted us with a warm welcome and a quick overview of the menu. We ordered the tasting menu and a few drinks to start.
- the snacks were delicious and a preview of what was to come: some damn tasty food. The arranchini had perfectly cooked rice with a crispy exterior and saffron sauce that didn't overpower the flavor. The merguez stuffed pepper had the perfect balance of spiced sausage with earthy pepper. The calamari was my favorite dish: balanced, complex, and clean flavors allowed each of the delicate ingredients to shine even in the face of a beet. Hell yeah.
-pea dish and pita: warm pita, pea and fava puree with fresh peas on top, and a big smile on my face. This dish was fresh, and the different temperatures, textures, and flavors meant only one thing: I could have eaten another.
- fresh pasta course: the uni butter, bottarga, and tomatoes created an unctuous sauce for al dente pasta topped with fresh purple basil. Unfamiliar yet familiar, unique yet comforting.
- king crab: soft, super fresh crab with a rich white wine butter sauce and fresh herb oil. This tasted like a well-executed classic.
- foie gras: a fitting end to the savory courses that bridges the gap to dessert. The texture of the crunchy toast and pine nuts with the smooth foie and acidic jam. This was the most creative dish, and I'll remember it.
- coconut malabi with pomegranate orange blossom sauce and granola: a fresh take on familiar flavors left me digging in for more. What a great end to a fabulous meal.
Joshua Green
The food tasted delicious and the service was great. $24 appetizer sized meals and a lack of regular drinks or tap water was too much. I won't be back but that's probably more of a personal preference than a reflection of your style and audience. Have a happy and safe 2021!
Mike Masse
Very unique food experience. Pricey but worth it. Sat at the counter overlooking the food prep area to watch the chefs create their mini- masterpieces.

Rooster & the Till is incredible and it’s no surprise it was named the best restaurant in the area by the Tampa Bay Times this past year. The attention to detail the entire staff has is on a whole other level. Sitting at the bar, overlooking the kitchen, is an enlightening experience: you can see the choreography and thoughtfulness of the entire system at work and the zen-like focus and genius of the cooks.
And, of course, the food is incredible. The portions are mostly a shareable size, and any time I come here I order to share. Be adventurous and try new things; you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Jason Clement
One of the three best restaurants in Tampa. However, I brought my brother in law for the first time today and we sat at the bar. The bartender with the long hair and tattoos (looked like he worked out but also ate well) insinuated that my brother in law was intoxicated because he moved the barstool next to him out of his way to sit and would not serve us. We tried to order both food and drinks and were insulted by bartender’s issue with us. Perhaps it was because we both had on a hoodie, but who will ever know. I will 100% go back with a reservation where I do not have to interact with this gentleman, but he definitely ruined my experience. Also, the women next to us was visibly intoxicated and he continued to serve her. I expect more from a Michelin restaurant.

I read good reviews about this place so we decided to try. Trendy, chic place. Staffs were nice and friendly. The food were delicious and well balanced, nice presentation. However, the portions were small compared with price points. And I think it was too noisy, it fun to hangout with friends at the bar, but for a romantic date, it will be hard to hear each other talk.
Jenny Olszowy
My husband and I decided on the chef's tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was really great and the wine paired with the food was perfect. This restaurant is super cute inside. I think next time we will try and snag a bar seat to watch all the action.
Scott Corr
Was not expecting such an experience when it was suggested that we go here. Incredible food, beautiful presentation. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Can't wait to bring friends!
Benjamin
Enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Very delicious meals. The waitstaff did an incredible job as well.
Matt Turner
What is there to say other than phenomenal? One dining experience here and that's the word you'll be saying as you leave. Rooster & the Till is a wonderful place where it can be easily seen how much care has been placed in each aspect of the restaurant. Every interaction friendly and informative, every bite delicious and complex, every drink picked for quality. If you have not been here, please go. And if you have, you know why you keep going back.
Gary Lindsey
Was fortunate to snag a last minute reservation. Glad we were so lucky. Fun place and great food. Ian our waiter was great and knew the menu inside and out. We went with the menu instead of the chef tasting menu. Will try that the next time. Highly recommend. Wish it was located in Chicago.
Maria Aguayo
Great experience. We had the chefs tasting menu. Each course was better than the last. The staff was attentive and friendly.
Alon Bar
Everything was great. Food is awesome. A bit too pricey, but I guess that this is part the deal when you go to a chef’s restaurant.
Megan Caico
Hands down the best dining experience in my life... Literally dreaming of going back! We went last night for my birthday and everything was amazing. Our waitress, Katie, was so informative. She knew everything about the entire menu and was able to steer us in the right direction. Great personality as well, even through the mask! Hard choice between the tasting menu and the "shareable plates" but we went with the shareable and tried a little bit of almost everything. We were able to get the lobster dumplings from the tasting menu and thank GOD we did. I could swim in the sauce on them! The cobia collar was literally the best dish I have ever eaten and we were lapping up the sauce with a spoon on that one as well! The raviolo and the gnocchi were beyond heavenly. Just typing this I wish we were sitting there right now watching them prepare the dishes as chef watches over to ensure nothing but perfection! Make a reservation for yourself now!
Jonathan L.
It's starts with great service, our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of all the menu items and drink options, and made all accommodations for one person in our party who had a food allergy (dairy). The food options were all very delicious, lots of different flavors blended well. Different style of eating with shareables, would return again.
Rob Cruz
The rooster and the till never disappoints, been coming for at least 4 years and while the menu is always different; I've never ordered anything that was less than excellent. This is the first time I've tried the desserts and would say it's different but also well done very unique. The people or atmosphere is nice and classy with hipster type service.
A Gabrielli
One of the top high-end, creative and original restaurants in Tampa Bay. Phenomenal food, service and ambience. My wife and I love to sit at the chef counter.
The lamb meat quesadilla is a must as well as the short rib gnocchi. Also must try the steak tartare (see pic) that is new to the menu.
matt s
Very interesting menu. These are some of the dishes that were served for the chef tasting. Sadly not all lol. Ate the others way to fast. Unique as its high dinning with a relaxed and casual atmospheric sence. Like that the menu changes every now and then for new creations will definitely be back. Very enjoyable food for people who like different ingredients. If your picky about what you eat the regular menu had some beautiful dishes aswell. But the only downside to this place for me was lack of portion sizes ... At first... But after the last course i relized i wasnt hungry anymore. Very good place to try.
Melanie Roberts
The food was sooooo amazing. Every plate we had was more and more impressive. Expect to spend big, but you will not regret it.
Anaeli V
Tasty food. Great service. Our waitress Bri was very attentive and did a great job explaining the plates.
Melissa Nye
I've been going here ever since they were a tiny new restaurant, and have had the chef's menu a few times. One of my favorite dining experiences. So happy to have seen them expand and gain popularity. Everything is always absolutely delicious and creative. I recommend sitting at the bar to see them prepare your food if you just have a party of two.
Alton McGriff
The Lamb was amazing, the beat drink on the menu is the blueberry smash. That will be my summer drink for anyone who comes to my house. the service was fantastic. The food came out in the right order. The quail was awesome, the pork belly waa ok. But the corn bread and sauce that came with it was the best thing on the menu. This has to be one of my top two or three in Tampa. First I was like the menu is small. My mind was quickly changed. The banana treat was really good. How the flavors flowed was awesome, not sure how the cream worked with it.
Dannielle German
Eating the most amazing dinner, I honestly teared up at this course. The menu was robust and had a little something for everyone. We shared 4 options, he ordered the Not Pork Dumplings and the Gnocchi. I ordered the Birria Lamb Quesadilla and the Goat Ricotta Raviolo (picture). If you haven't gone out somewhere nice lately, treat yourself. They are doing temp checks at the door. Proper social distancing and the food is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!!

What a refreshing experience! Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Small plates that are well worth the price point as its made with some of the best ingredients and presented to you like you were a judge on a cooking challenge show. Me and my wife shared three plates and it was plenty enough. The spicy honey that comes with the pork belly and cornbread should be fed to you in an IV, it was that good. Once they get their liquor license i'll give it five stars, although they do have some crafted cocktails with wine that are decent. Go check them out!

What an interesting take on food. Emphasis on small plates and this format allows you to be able to try different small plates. I pictures are the Tuna Crudo- 7/10, Lamb neck 9/10, pork belly 6/10. The environment inside is ok with the kitchen in the middle sometimes the exhaust is not strong enough to pull the smell of food prep so if you're close enough you will smell like food.
Parking was tricky. Other than that, delightful experience and a good refreshing change from the norm.

One of my hardest reviews yet.
I'll start from the beginning. I was visiting Tampa from out of town, and since this place sounded awesome, I decided to check it out.
We called ahead and were able to get reservations for my significant other and I about 30 minutes ahead and were able to easily find parking and be seated immediately.
All of this was great.
To be fair, I came with a big appetite, while knowing it was going to be smaller portions, and we did share, but I still couldn't help be a little disappointed by the portioning, as we typically share and normally have food to spare, even in modern restaurants.
Now, the food was flavorful and well balanced and I was feeling adventurous enough to go for 3 courses. I particularly appreciated the desert which was a pistachio, chocolate, brioche creation.
Our server Eli was also really great and engaging, while also respectfully giving us our space.
My other also really appreciated the little touches like the water being served without ice, and the decor being on point.
In the end though, I come to a restaurant to eat, and I honestly don't feel the cuisine quite earned the price point attached so after all the glitz, it left me feeling a little hollow.
Maybe it was partially the fact that the seating forced me to sit with my back to the room, where all the action was happening behind the centralized bar. Maybe it's because we weren't given a choice in seating in the first place...
Ultimately I'd say it's a chic, well appointed & popular place with great decor, service, and plating. Somewhere to enjoy a glass of wine or a unique meal with a date, or perhaps impress a group of colleagues, but my recommendation if you visit, is leaving your appetite at home and being prepared to pay well for what little you do get.
Katie Sparks Jones
Food was unique and tasty, but very small portions for the price. Ambiance was modern and service was good.
Thomas P
Incredible food, excellent service. Appreciated the attention to detail with clean plates and cutlery between each course.
Bradley Bunn
Hot damn, come for the modern/ rustic barnyard feel, stay for the food. The food is amazing, I usually take more pictures of the food, but this time I was not able to because of how delicious everything looked and tasted. The kitchen is open and scrupulously clean, staff is welcoming and attentive. It is definitely a nice first date spot.
Michael Beatty
We were over from England and visited with our American Niece and Nephew who recommended Rooster & the Till and oh boy we were not disappointed.
The food was amazing. We ordered dishes that I never would order on a normal meal out and wow, what a treat for our taste buds.
The staff were so good, particularly Gabby and Cruz who made us so welcome. They were chatty and friendly whilst at the same time very informative about the dishes we had selected.
We had a fabulous evening at a fabulous venue.

Rated Tampa Bay's #1 Top Restaurants to Eat at, you can definitely see what the hype is all about. Everything from the decor, to the menu and even the servers is curated for a trendy, chill culinary experience. The dishes are served tapas-style meaning even the "slightly larger" selections are smaller than the average entree size. Like i get it. Its meant to be shared with your friends. But at an average of $16 a plate, don't go in expecting to get full off of your meals unless you plan on spending alot $$$. The menu is filled with unique selections that you wont find at typical restaurants like quail, lamb & oysters. The food was good. Interesting flavors, texture combinations and sauces. Limited cocktail list however there plenty of locally brewed beers & a good selection of wine. If you do decide to drink, I recommend getting beer instead of wine. I ordered a Pinot noir and the server came back with a glass about a quarter filled. Could've spent the $8 on a full glass of beer but oh well, all for the experience right? If you are a culinary enthusiast (not an average foodie) and you are into curated culinary experiences with money to blow then you'd probably like this place. For everyone else, it's good to experience once since it's becoming a Tampa staple but I probably would never go again.
Ryan Goodaker
I've been here twice with my fiance twice now and it has been delicious both times. We have very much enjoyed every plate we have ordered.
Renee Montesanti
Went here for 1 yr anniversary. They deserve all of the 5 star reviews! The energy makes up the ambiance, the food made you feel an actual experience that may have been nostalgic to you. The chefs spoke about the execution on the tasting menu but the food spoke its story even louder! Amazing experience I will be back. We even had a cute little card from the staff signed. Hospitable and good vibes all around! ♡
Jimin Seo
Excellent dishes and cocktails. Kind of hidden in somewhat random location but feels really nice and elevated inside.
Melissa Miller
We had an amazing time here! We went to dinner last night. We sat at the bar because all of the tables were full. We started out with a bottle of Pinot Noir from Oregon, it was very good. Then we decided to do the chef’s menu, which is 6 courses, it’s $125 a person and there are extra things to add on for additional charge. I can’t believe how great every course was. It was delicious, I was highly impressed and recommend this restaurant! Everyone was friendly and accommodating
Eric Pourmand
Went here and decided to get the 6-course tasting menu as both of us were undecided what to get. It was amazing! Sorry I can’t even provide captions as all the dishes were complex and delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you’re feeling adventurous.
Gregory Wilson
Know what you're in for and you'll leave amazed. Come for the ordinary and you'll be disappointed. This is definitely a daily changing menu meant for sharing. An adventurous party of four or six would be perfect. Your father or grandfather will likely be uneasy. Servers and manager are on top of things. Talk with them.
Glenn Brown
Diverse menu, artistically prepared and presented with a knowledgeable and professional staff. Had the pleasure and good fortune to speak with one of the owners who not only took great pride and dedication to the work being done, had palpable commitment to creating an excellent dining experience. If seeking a reservation, note that there are two types, one at the bar and the other at tables. For an hour or two, you’ll forget your on Florida Avenue…you may forget you’re in Florida.
Alex
Incredible dining experience! The food is hand crafted to perfection. My favorite spot in town now!
Beau Motley
Food always banging, the Cobia collar bone dish is off the charts, a must order! The charcuterie was also amazing, best Bleu cheese I've ever had on it. Small place, modern center kitchen style, small plates, beer, and wine.
Renee Bennyhoff
Always an amazing experience. This is food for an adventurer's palate. Don't expect a steak and potato dish. The small plates are great for sharing.
Jennifer Luong
Super cute ambiance and fantastic experience. Server and Cook were super accommodating. Hands down the best meal in Tampa/Clearwater area.
Nora Slaw
If you like the experience of eating food that tastes good this is about as good as it gets in Tampa. Intimate dining space and super consistent over the years.
Kathy Lea Van Wert
Rooster & The Till is an Amazing gastronomic experience. You will not be disappointed in any way - food or service. I cannot say enough good things about Rooster & The Till.
Stuart
This was my second time at Rooster & the Till. The time previous this was about 2 years ago. Both instances have been wonderful, the staff is on top of every single table, dish, or drink that goes out. They all fully understand the food and the drink on the menu.
The tasting was exquisite, I had to use a thesaurus but that's the word I would use for this experience. This was our first $$$ type restaurant since covid and we were blown away.
The staff all wore their masks as well, atleast since 5/29/21.
alex encinosa
Absolutely the best restaurant I've eaten at. The food is Rich in Flavor and the ingredients are very fresh and masterfully integrated.
Michael Todd
Absolutely lovely experience: amazing food, warm and friendly service, great vibes. Can't wait to come back!
Daniel Shults
I have dined here now 4 or 5 times over the past couple years and must say Rooster & the Till provides the most exemplary and consistent dining experience of any great restaurant I have ever been to. Their menu is always taking you to places you never dreamt of and will probably be different each time you visit. The service is not only top notch, but the staff know the ins & outs of every dish on their menu. Ambiance is excellent as well: The restaurant has the perfect balance in their vibe between high end & laid back (not to mention the open kitchen allows you to witness the hard work & artistry required to churn out amazing dish after amazing dish). I am really looking forward to the addition of a liquor bar & cocktails at this restaurant as the City of Tampa recently approved them for a liquor license. I can't wait for my next visit to what is arguably the best restaurant in the state of Florida.
Jim DiCesaro
Happy hour at R&T is absolutely one of the best values in the neighborhood. If you don't already love great oysters, try them with strawberry ponzu. :)
Jonathan Ravens
Went there w my wife for our anniversary. On arrival we were surprised to be seated at the bar…. It did not matter! The owner came over, manager, and staff to make sure all was well throughout the experience. What a bizarre menu?! But incredible! We had the wine tasting with the tasting menu. If you can afford the bill, it’s a must! The staff was amazing, and we will be back.
Tracy Smith
Amazing food, service and ambience. Music was also fantastic!!
Tami Hewett
From the staff and service, to the decor, to the amazing food and drink - this restaurant is simply the best! The tasting menus are inspired and I can’t wait to try the next one, and the regular menu is just plain delicious. I also love the fact you can order a delivery and everything comes packaged so well, you can try to build the dish yourself. The guest chef series is also a great experience and well worth signing up to! This restaurant is definitely worthy of a Michelin visit and star to match!
Mark Johan
What an awesome experience. Chef and owner was so attentive. The fish is outstanding. Thanks!
José J. Jordán
Amazing food, great service, unique laid-back atmosphere
Lucas Reeve
One of the best food experiences I've had in many years. The service was incredible, with our server guiding us expertly through the menu and I loved the wine offerings. These folks really know how to curate a restaurant experience. Perfect spot to celebrate something special or just celebrate a regular old Thursday night.
Liz A
Food was high quality, super delicious. Really good vibes in the restaurant. Perfect place to get real chef-curated food and it’s a romantic spot for a date. This is definitely a gem in Tampa. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because my partner and I were treated pretty rudely by our waiter. We were wearing just regular plain jeans and tee with sneakers type of clothes and everyone else dining here was dressed up really nicely. Unfortunately, I think our waiter took it upon himself to presume our financial status and ability to tip him well by our physical appearance. He was being very warm and friendly to all the other guests he was serving at the neighboring tables, but when he would come to our table, he was very condescending and honestly pretty rude. What a shame. We still tipped him 25% on our $100+ bill despite his rude service. We were embarrassed for him.
Rohom Khonsari
What an amazing restaurant and experience. Have been wanting to come here for years and the food and staff definitely did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!!
Eun Helms
We were SO impressed with this place last year that we planned to return whenever we came back to Florida. And we did lol.
This time we tried the tasting menu with friends. Each tapas dish had great, distinctive flavor profiles, and were presented in an order that just *made sense* 🤌🏻. Stand outs were the Grilled Quail and Lemongrass Honey Ice. If you opt for individual dishes, you must try the Cobia Collar and the Iberico Pork Secreto Ssam Board. They cross my mind every once in awhile like old school crushes.
Greg Clarke
A wonderful and delightful experience. We went for the, "Let the Kitchen Decide" with the "Wine Pairing" and we were not disappointed! It was worth every penny.
Sayeef Mirza
Artsy, exotic food. Takes time to assemble. Very flavorful. Quality > quantity. The price though.
Leonardos Valettas
Amazing place, to exceeded my wildest expectations! Could easily give it a Michelin star!!
Have to mention the wonderful hospitality from Lindsay that really made the difference.
Todd S
Few if any restaurants in Tampa in the past 20 years have operated with this level of consistent creativity and execution. It’s often lauded as the best restaurant in town and that’s well deserved. This is where you go to eat if you truly love food.
Sue Hamilton
Great gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent. We did the chef's tasting menu and added a couple of things from the regular menu. The gnocchi is incredible and pork belly was great too. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was, even dishes that I wasn't sure about. Dress is casual. It's fun and smart, service was great!
Ira Cohen
Because we've enjoyed the Sunday Supper Club several times and enjoyed it each time, we decided to give the Thanksgiving Dinner a try this year. Our T-day guest list aged 6 to 75 and EVERYONE enjoyed every dish.In-house ding or pick-up, Ty, Ferrell and the crew continue to dependably exceed expectations. This is the best dining experience in Tampa Bay.
Sharon Tan
Fried quail was perfect on the inside. The pineapple dessert was a little too charred. Overall, perfect portion for conscious eaters.
Alexander Woolington
The best dining experience that I have had, bar none. The serving staff are quick to keep drinks full, prompt to return at the end of each course, and knowledgeable in the menu. The bar is the star of the show, as you are able to watch as the different menu options are prepared, and the efficiency with which the kitchen staff works. It is high-end dining without the pretense, it is all on the plate. Not a single menu item was a disappointment. Cannot recommend highly enough, and look forward to my next opportunity to return. The eggplant raviolo is the secret star of the menu, and a must try as well!
Andrew Luebbert
We’ve been going here for years so it’s probably time to write a review. This is the best restaurant in Tampa. The menu is always inventive and changing. Love the option of a tasting menu when in the mood. Looking forward to the long awaited addition of liquor. We can’t wait to visit this Friday. Please keep doing what you do.
K H
Great place, with innovative dishes. Smoked beets with sunchokes was fabulous with amazing depth of flavors and the typically strong flavor of the beets well balanced by the creamy smoky hummus and sunchokes. Similarly, the caulini was also a hit, with great flavors. Others were solid but not amazing. The crispy chicken thighs were very good with a great Thai curry sauce (while they call it a vinaigrette, it isn't). The scallops were perfectly cooked but the lamb was somewhat missing. Lastly, the only disappointment was the eggplant raviolo which was bland compared to the depth of flavor in the other dishes. Service was friendly, attentive and genuinely engaging.
Joy W.
Wonderful experience! The food was exquisite, very delicious, beautifully presented. Very happy to hear they have a liquor license coming because we love a good cocktail. Would certainly recommend this restaurant!
Chris Rodak
Wonderful food and wine selection, definitely a place you need to try if you’re in the area. Only complaint is the small portions of just about every entree but I will most certainly be coming back again.
Keith Beane
Very trendy and eclectic menu. Perfect New American restaurant. Staff was very attentive and explained every dish when brought to the table. The kitchen bar was cool to be able to see all your food prepared in front of you
Adam Bert
Delicious food and detailed service in a quaint little modern spot. Can’t wait to go back!
Anthony Krol
Excellent Brunch! - Culture and food are phenomenal this place is a must if you're visiting Tampa or lucky enough to live here!
Kerry Forchin
The chef's take on the menu was sensational. Menu is not typical and is definitely for the gourmand and adventurous eater. If eating is not your thing the bar is terrific
Brian White
Never had anything other than fantastic food and service. Best restaurant in Tampa. The gnocchi is amazing, but so is everything else. Cocktails are a bit weak , but tasty and go well with the food. Cannot wait to go back.
Alexander S
Excellent service and delicious food.
Tom Knotts
Love this restaurant. Menu provides a good variety of options. Always love the flavors.
Sophia Clark
Wonderful celebratory dinner! My partner and I did the tasting menu (degustation), which was Indian-themed when we went. The food was delicious and interesting; the staff made sure we had a really lovely experience. I can definitely recommend doing the tasting menu for a special occasion.
Food: what my partner loved most about this particular menu is--not only did everything taste amazing--it was super creative and oftentimes downright adventurous. The flavors were diverse and fun, the textures were sometimes pretty wild (I'm looking at you, sweetbread). I think my favorite courses were the lamb tataki, sea bass belly, and goat cheese / burnt carrot ganache...SO GOOD!
Drinks: neither of us did the wine pairing because we don't drink much, but we did get two of their cocktails at $10 a pop. Both the Yuzu Margarita and Off Broadway were very tasty.
Service: super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Love it that the staff were just as excited about the food as we were. Our six courses were served over the course of about an hour and a half. My partner even got a little Congratulations card from the staff at the end because I wrote that we were celebrating his graduation in the reservation. It was very sweet!
Portion sizes: we had the tasting menu + an extra dessert, and we were both very full at the end. I noticed some reviews mention disappointment at the amount of food. I recently had a bad experience with a tasting menu at a different restaurant where I was left very hungry, so I was skittish about Rooster & the Till, but my fears were quickly alleviated. The amount of food was just right for dinner. That being said, if you think you might leave hungry, maybe do a little pre gaming.
Price for value: both the food and experience was excellent, which made the price tag worth it for us. Plus, it was a special occasion. Per person, the tasting menu was $125, and 20% gratuity is automatically added to the check. For 2 tasting menus, 2 sparkling water bottles, 2 cocktails, an extra dessert, tax, and gratuity, the total was about $380.
Final impression: my partner and I were just visiting Tampa for a week. Our dinner at Rooster & the Till was definitely one of the highlights of the whole trip. We'll certainly be back the next time we're in the area. If you're looking for a really top-notch food experience, this is a great place for it.
Mary Elizabeth Joyce
Our favorite date night restaurant in Tampa! Every dish we have had is both beautifully crafted and soo delicious. The staff really go above and beyond to ensure you are well taken care of.
We just participated in one of the chef series dinners with Claudette Zepeda, and again, the food was phenomenal and the attention to detail and service was above and beyond what we expected. One of the few restaurants where you are treated like family and get to experience culinary excellence.
melissa j
We always enjoy the outstanding food, gracious, friendly service and upbeat vibe at this special place. Did I mention the food?! My husband and I enjoyed the creative menu and wine pairing on New Years Eve.
Holly Clark
Every visit to Rooster and the Till is phenomenal. Their food and dining experience is top notch. I recommend sitting at the bar and doing the tasting menu. It’s a wonderful experience to see the chefs executing their beautiful craft. The food is always divine. The service is always excellent.
Kevin Poitras
No doubt about it, everything from the foie gra, pork cutlet, and gnocchi with short ribs was delicious. If you get dessert the ice cream is excellent, the "donuts" are good, but you should order the ice cream also because the donut holes themselves are very salty and need the cream for temperment. My only critique is that the portions are quite small and the prices quite high. Plan on a McDonalds run afterward to fill you up.
Ashley L
Fantastic meal! My best friend and I did the tasting menu and it did not disappoint, we loves everything. We also had great service, highly recommend to come try this place!!!
Elisa Bruno-Midili
Neighborhood eatery using local products and creative combinations. Very delicious!
Elizabeth Ferreira
I’ve been here many times at this point and have some opinions. We’ve always enjoyed the prefix menu but we have a better time just picking from the a la carts menu. The Katsu Sando should be your number one pick. The dessert is always chefy and delicious. The Raviolo is incredible too.
Michelin is coming to Tampa in 2022. Go here now before everything changes!
Nathan Fisk
So perfect my partner and I only go with each other. The best restaurant in Tampa, and - notably - highly supportive of their own staff. Excellent people, atmosphere, and menu.
Wonderful place, well worth the time for locals and visitors alike.
Arthur Szczypta
This place deserves a Michelin star without a doubt. Great service and awesome food. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed.
Marsha McLaurin
The owner/chef of this restaurant is nothing short of 'genius'..not used looslely!
We enjoyed the Chef's tasting menu and it was beyond fabulous! The blending of tastes creates a phenomenal experience for the diner!
Vegas Brown
So, we are enjoying the Cobia Collar when we tell the chef how I attempted to make it at home and butchered the nuoc cham. He politely gave me their recipe and gave me some to take home. I highly recommend this spot. It is our fourth time here and it keeps getting better.
My favorites are the Cobia Collar, Katsu Sando, Seared Scallops, and Foie Gras.
Austin Pleat
Ambience, staff, everything was pleasant. We decided on the 6 course meal. It was rich, but unique and different. Very distinct tastes that blended well together. Overall pricey for the amount of food but an experience unlike anything else in Tampa.
Amber Russell
Spent a little time in Tampa for a mini honeymoon, discovered this place on reddit as it came highly recommended. They were extremely helpful in moving our reservation to an earlier time and we sat at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is completely open and sitting at the bar was literally like watching a show. It was so entertaining to watch the chefs meticulously prepare each dish. Our server was also extremely informative and helpful. The pork belly and short rib gnocchi were out of this world, I wish we still had room to try some of the desserts.
Stephanie tran
Food was great. Menus do change often. Servers very attentive and explained every dish served. When we went, it was more of an Asian fusion fois. we had gnocchi, Iberico pork secreto, seared fois gras with strawberries, crispy cobia collar, pork katsu, sesame ice cream and five spice donuts. We enjoyed everything, except the fois gras and the 2 desserts. The strawberry sauce did not go well with fois gras. Five spice should not go on desserts. Couldn't enjoy the sesame ice cream either. There are reviews from different people who enjoyed these desserts. Everyone has different tastes. We'll return to try different menus.
Kerry Reed Ellett
The food was delicious, presentation a 10. Service was efficient, friendly, and helpful without being intrusive. Some coursed were hard to eat
Chris Bell
Had such a great experience here celebrating my wife’s birthday!
David Bagley
Great food experience, and very knowledgable and attentive staff. Awesome time!!
amy yount
They make going out to eat fun! Every dish is a perfect balance of flavors and textures. This isn’t just our favorite restaurant in Tampa, it’s one of our favorites in the entire country! Chef Ferrell Alvarez is a genius , no doubt. Get the Cobia Collar and Gnocchi (they are staples), but also try the other exquisite revolving dishes...everything they put out is delicious. Eat at the kitchen bar to enjoy watching them cook your meal! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, yet you can get away with dressing up for special occasions. The staff is attentive and helpful, from the manager, Myles, to the entire wait staff. The menu is comprised of small plates, so you need at least one to two per person, but because we love all their food, we usually get three per person! I can’t say enough good things about the people who work here or the amazing food. If you love food, you will love Rooster & the Till.
Patrick Hanson
It was two years ago now but I took my wife here for her birthday in 2018. I found it on a list of best Tampa restaurants. The food was unreal. I probably had the best pork belly and cornbread I've ever had here. My wife and I shared a few small plates here and got our share. A nice touch I noticed is that my napkin was refolded everytime I left the table to use the bathroom. The food was unreal, drinks excellent, and wonderful service. A true gem of the TB area
jaciuro
Great food. We had prompt and friendly, professional service. Easy restaurant location to find. It gets filled up later in the evening. My wife and I went with another couple that eat there frequently. Again, excellent service. Would definitely eat there again. 👍 …
Matthew Landon Heller
Foods good, it’s not my favorite genre of American Comfort food, the new digs are spiffy inside. Managment was on top of everything. I just silently hate on them for the profits they’re making on their low food cost but highly profitable menu of simple money making bangers. Kudos to them
Tigrita Morgan
I've eaten here before, but last night absolutely blew me away! The restaurant had a nice buzz, and the open kitchen was beautiful. I had the cobia, and it was a stunning dish. Brandon the bar tender was very knowledgeable about the menu, and picked the perfect drinks with our dishes. I can't wait for the next time.
Dana Gordon
Decided to make the trek to Seminole Heights to try something new. R&T was the most highly-rated restaurant in the area, so we figured we'd give it a try. SO WORTH IT!
My husband started off with the sea bass belly dish, which was nicely prepared. I got the pork belly, which was delicious and perfectly cooked. But our favorite dish was the grouper cheek with corn pone. So delicately balanced! The grouper had zero fishiness, and was crisp and flavorful. The sweetness of the corn pone matched the creaminess of the collard mayo, and the salty smokiness from the roe. Seriously one of the best meals I've had in a long time! We'll definitely be back. :)
Justin Burgess
Perfect serving sizes with quality ingredients lead to savory, creative flavors. While the menu may seem small or limited, it allows the chef to focus on doing everything with excellence. The cocktails include bold takes on classic ideas and pair well with the assortment of tapas, and there is a thoughtfully curated selection of wines as well. If you're stuck on what to order, pick one of everything, but come hungry with a good conversationalist for company to enjoy the casual pace of each dish being served "when ready." I look forward to going back again to see how their menu evolves.
Richard Nicholas
We've had the pleasure of eating here in several settings: larger group of six, several dinners for two, at the bar overlooking the kitchen, at the special guest chef dinners (not to be missed!) and we've never had less than a special evening with remarkable food, drinks, and service. If you're nervous about the food being too adventurous, don't be! There are plenty of great options for all preferences. Truly a gem.
Sarah US
The food was original and delicious. My dining partner is a picky eater and was skeptical of a I lot of items on the menu but fortunately was willing to give it a shot (hot dogs and hamburgers is more his thing). They ended up loving everything we ordered, even things they felt sure they would not like (roasted brussel sprout dish). The drinks were very good as well. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I felt it was a bit pricey, but overall I would definitely go again.
Renee “Renee B” Bertschinger
This was an amazing experience. This was a perfect anniversary dinner for a carnivore and a vegan. ALL of the food was elegant and exceptionally yummy. We highly recommend. Ramsey was a great server. Very knowledgeable and personable.
Kiwi
Even more amazing than last time... starting to imagine how next visit will be, at this pace.
p.s. Sorry I finished most dishes forgetting to photo.
Bradford Underhill
Everything was spectacular. What a dining experience. Menu was a bit complicated but our waitress described the dishes in a distilled manner that highlighted the important features. We were not going to get dessert after looking at the menu but she made it come alive and described it in turns like "a deconstructed carrot cake". And we were not disappointed. And the wines. Unique and very flavorful. Best dining experience in a very long time
M
We came for our anniversary and weren't disappointed. We sat at the bar and everything we tried was delicious. Our server/bartender was great with the wine recommendations. Food was tapas style so we ordered a few small plates. Lives up to the hype.
Pamela Epps
I really liked this place, the wait staff, the food and ambiance, all very tasteful and pleasant. The food is unlike anything you'll get anywhere else. It's eclectic and full of fresh ingredients and unusual spices. What I especially liked was that none of the menu is anything like what I could make for myself at home. The eggplant toast appetizer was super delicious. The deserts are light, not super sweet and don't leave you feeling like you wish you had restrained. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's very noisy. The room is big and sound bounces off the wall. So if you're looking for an intimate it is not. Otherwise a great dining experience.
Jacques de Graauw
Definitely worth the visit and the price! Our experience at Rooster & the Till was an unforgettable addition to our trip to Tampa. The Pork Belly was our favorite, but we’re positive that each dish will impress.
Locke Birbeck
I have post reviews for this restaurant everywhere, as it deserves it! Voted as the #1 restaurant in Tampa, since it opened is one of the top of my list of all the ones I have tried locally and when traveling. The concept, the food, the service, the staff, the drinks EVERYTHING is amazing in this place! You get small plates to share and each of them is an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Not a secret, not a hidden gem it is well known and people drive good distances to eat there. Make sure you make a reservation, they are always booked solid, even during the week. Your welcome :)
DJ Cacciatore
I’ve been coming to Rooster since they opened their doors. Their consistency with the food and service is unsurpassed! Never once have I been disappointed in the slightest. Chef Ferrell Alvarez is unbelievable! There is no other restaurant in Tampa that even comes close to the experience here!
Peter Neame
Fabulous food and service - attentive and clearly enthusiastic about the food. We had a 6 plates split between 4 - while they were all great, the Gnocchi, the Not Pork Dumplings and the Pork Porcelet were the standouts. Excellent deserts also and a great beer selection. This something like our 5th time here - never less than great.
The only complaint is that it is loud! This seems to be a "thing" these days but is not great for those with older ears.
Fabby Rodriguez
Amazing small.portions plates, very tastyy!!!
John Hansen
I’ve never had a dish I didn’t love here. The menu changes often to keep it fresh. The space feels cozy without being crowded. I always call ahead because they fill up fast.
Heather Pell
Rooster and the Till was a great experience! We went for my best friend's birthday. The server was so kind and helpful. She explained everything and made great recommendations. We decided to share 8 different plates among the 4 of us. Our favorites were the Cobia Collar and the Gnocchi. We also had dessert (we tried them all) and nothing disappointed. We will be back!
Bill Szydlowski
just ate yesterday at the returning of their Guest Chef once a month dinner. it was a fantastic gastronomic experience. their regular menu is always changing and is very good!
Alycia Zamora
I highly recommend this place! Opposed to some of these reviews the portions are perfect, the plates are well thought out in flavor and size. With so many delicious options and the complexity of the ingredients... small scale plates leave room for you to try a good amount of food without over indulging in one particular plate (order more if you desire!). If you are looking for huge portions with cliche ingredients and combinations this is not the place for you. If you have a progressive pallet and a taste for good wine you will be pleased.

I'm an avid yelper! So reviews are important to read and I read lots of them before selecting a place.
I found this to be an unusual place, definitely not your typical dinner experience. Tasting menu as well as small plates. Since I was alone, in town on business I decided to enjoy two small plates. I had the pork belly with one of the most delicious pieces of cornbread I've ever had (and I'm southern so I know cornbread) and the spicy honey sauce was absolutely delightful. I also had the brussel sprouts which were amazing. I sat at the bar and I found the staff to be polite, personable, knowledgeable, friendly and just all around a pleasure.
I topped off the meal with the silken coconut milk dessert which I have to say was one of the best desserts I've ever had. It was light, refreshing, packed with flavor, just wonderful!
I highly recommend Rooster & the Till.

Wonderful food and service. Great ambiance. Can't wait to go back!

Extremely overpriced for what you get! We did the chef selection, which was $75 a person. For four of us with food and two drinks each, we spent over $500! The food was good, but certainly not worth the price tag. The service was pretty good. Our server was attentive, as were the other servers in the restaurant. The main thing was value for your money. We enjoy fine dining and have absolutely zero issue paying top price for excellent food. This was "good food", not "excellent." The a la carte menu looked pricey as well, with most tapas items being $20+. They suggest you order 3-4, which would be $60-80 per person. Hence, us choosing the chef selections. Maybe we would have had a better experience with the a la carte menu?

Excellent dining experience and fantastic service. The only criticism I could give is that the portions are very small for the price. Take a friend and enjoy a unique dining experience.

This place is always on the list among Tampa’s best so I wanted to try it. Our waiter Peter gave us excellent service. But I was put off by the dirty floor- especially in the bathroom where the floor was gross. The food was somewhat interesting, but just didn’t hit the mark considering the price. Seemed to be trying a little too hard. I would not go back.

We visited this restaurant and were blown away by the food. So unique and eclectic! We loved the interesting combinations of flavors! Service was fantastic, atmosphere was relaxed. Great place to go with a group of friends or for date night. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I thought it was a little too pricey. Other than that, this place place was amazing!

Maybe the best dining experience of the last 12 months for me. Great service, nice ambience, amazing food. The flavor combinations were incredible. Nice selection of wines by bottle and by the glass. Sit at the chef's table for a great experience.

Finally went to Rooster for the first time last month, it did not disappoint! My wife and I shared small plates and had some of the best Pinot Noir I’ve ever had. Also, service and delivery of the dishes were on point! The prices are more premium here, but we received premium service and amazing food. Will definitely return.

My husband and I went ALL out with a $80 bottle of Barbera from Italy. Our awesome server used a decanter for us. It was a delightful wine. I'm glad we splurged. Speaking of splurging with the $80 bottle of wine we also ordered $120 worth of food. Were we hungry? or where we really excited about all of the menu options? I have no regrets.

Okay, so I was really interested in trying this place, and I'm glad I did. We went on a Friday night. The restaurant is nice and clean.
There is a lot of noise, so don't expect to have a quiet dinner or be able to hear the person sitting across the table. Hopefully they will do something to reduce sound. This place has a lot going for it, but this reduced my rating.
The food is awesome! Loved it! However, another factor in the loss of the second star is portion size. The Taps are the price of a regular meal but not the size of a normal meal. So to fill up you have to by two or three taps $$.
Otherwise service is fine, decor is nice, okay parking, I do like the place, but probably won't go back for a while.

We went there on Friday night around 7 and was super busy, the wait was going to be 45 minutes, it ended up being about 10 minutes before the couples before us left, therefore I recommend that you make a reservation.
They have two options of dinning, one of them being small plates, tapa styles, we went for that and order 2 plates per person.
Our favorite... the gnocchis are delicious and perfect combinations of flavors and colors.
The ambience is loud and since they cook right there in the open space you’ll leave the place smelling like you just spent the last hour cooking, which it wasn’t an issue for us, just thought it is worth mentioning.
Ric Rini
It looks small from the outside but is surprisingly roomy when you enter.
The bar-top is huge and accommodates many patrons (~30/35ish). There is also table seating around the perimeter of the restaurant but the bar-top is clearly the the focus(they accept reservations). No hiding food preparation and completion here as the cooking area is essentially in the center of the bar area and the highlight of the restaurant. It's a very unique concept and it definitely fits the Seminole Heights spirit. The ambiance is hip and cool but not pretentious. You will feel at home here in this very trendy welcoming atmosphere.
They have some great happy hour drink and appetizer specials - so if you are just looking for a chill place to have a drink and a small plate this is a great place as well.
The location is slightly difficult to spot while driving by and parking is sparse.

Food was amazing, and the service was great. We ended up being here for almost 2 hours and never felt rushed. We had a group of 3 and got 7 plates, 2 desserts and coffees and everything was spectacular. However, per many other reviews, for the price we paid the quantity of food provided was very low. After dropping $190 pre-tip on dinner for 3 people, I'd want to feel at least borderline full. I didn't leave hungry, but still would have expected a little bit more bang for the buck.
Stanley Huala
This is always an amazing dining experience. I ventured out of my usual routine and a few different plates. I was amazed by how much I enjoyed them. Our waiter Ronnie was also on point and helped me choose plates and drinks. I can't wait to go back and see what they are offering on their future menus.

Rooster & The Till is by far one of my favorite restaurants. Chef Ferrell & Ty form a perfect partnership for our community. Rooster's essence is part of the heartbeat of Seminole Heights. Their food sustains us, their commitment to our community, and their family of employees nurtures us. When our neighborhood is in need they step up and ask how they can help and Seminole Heights does our best to support them back. If you want a great place to eat with all the good feels to go with it, Rooster is the place to go. Bring your joyful hunger and enjoy!!
Chris Kelly
Here's what can be said about Rooster & the Till...
a) It's not chain food where you pay $14.99 for a garden salad, sirloin steak and baked potato. If this is your idea of value and good food, you SHOULD NOT go here. If these are your expectations, they will keep you from enjoying your experience. In my opinion, the food here will take you out of "Tampa" and the experience will do the same.
b) It's not like other restaurants in the neighborhood, the experience is completely unlike anything else in the bay area. The food is prepared in front of you if you're sitting at the bar. The staff will treat you like friends, try and get to know you, and probably invite you to check out other spots in the neighborhood. The service has always been excellent in my visits.
c) The menu has changed a few times since they've been open, albiet, they have kept a few mainstays like the Pork Belly. I've ordered this dish every time I've visited and it never disappoints. Yep, it's a smaller portion, but I think the whole point of each dish here is to have amazing taste, texture, and complexity. And honestly, if you don't feel comfortable spending $12 on a small plate of food for yourself, you should reevaluate how you treat yourself, you're probably worth it... I don't seafood so I can't say anything about those dishes...
So, if you want to try something new and maybe even enjoy yourself, treat yourself to a night out even if you have to work an extra day to afford it. The place is worth it!
Christopher Oliver
This is the first time i went to this restaurant and i see why it was named the best restaurant in Tampa bay two years in a row!! This restaurant focuses on small plates but packed with flavors! It does not sell hard liquor but the wine and beer makes up for it and they do have some cocktails. It will be better if they had their liquor license. Let's get to it.
Melinda Johnson
The food is exceptional. The small plates are expensive but exquisite. The service was impeccable and Peter really knows his wines. Informal setting with food you would expect at a fine dining establishment in New York! Thank you for the gastronomical experience!

I'm giving this place 3 stars because the service was great. The food was good but this really isn't my kind of dining experience I guess. So it's a matter of opinion. We had a group of friends and we ordered the cheese board, gnocchi, pork belly and quail. Everything was good but 20 for a couple ounces of 4 cheeses, 4 olives, 6 almonds and smears of jelly was a bit much. Much of the other food was much of the same, very small portions big price. The wine you were given few ounces of wine with a hefty price tag, glass 1/4 way full .The gria, gria was good but for 9 bucks, I would expect my glass to be full of liquor and not ice. Cool concept but we left hungry and thirsty ended up going somewhere else to cap off our night.
Brock Levin
This place is good. Expensive. You can't do this all of the time, but it's good, especially if you bring a group, and everyone is willing to share. We had 7 people. We ordered a ton. The food was awesome. We split evenly, and it was about $67 a person, which included 2 glass of wine. The best thing was the cobia collar. The pork neck was good. Steak Tartare was good. Octopus was excellent. Gnocchi was excellent. This was really, really good.

Have LOVED enjoying R & T feasts to go, but very happy they are now open again. Better than ever, this is a dining spot not to be missed when you are in Tampa. Never been? Never a better time to go. Extraordinary food, wonderful staff, and fun environment. Enjoy!
kendra wilson
Very trendy. Great staff. Good cocktails. The food is awesome. You could tell each plate was thoughtfully planned out. Small plates really ARE small plates. It's a little pricey but definitely worth a try.
Marcy Zacherl
We had 4 dishes and my husband had a mixed drink...93$ included tip. It was as I explained to my husband a “foodie” and it is. You open your mind and palette. We sat at the bar where the cooks work and it was truly a delight to see the artistic plates being prepared. When we return we will splurge and try to chef’s tasting.
Vlad Avril
I've been living in Tampa since '17 and recently found out about this place. The meal was great and especially the Cobia. Wish I had known about it sooner.
Emily Anne
The environment was very hip and awesome. Service was amazing, Lindsey was superb. The food was VERY strange. A lot of flavors that didn’t seem to match, almost sensory overload. Extremely small portions and very pricey. Personally won’t be back.
Peter Kunzel
Stopped in here with my dad last week. We ordered a lot of different things on the menu and all of them were very good. Cheese plate was awesome compared to others I have had. We ordered the gnocchi, quail and beef, loved them all. Will be visiting again next time Im in Tampa.
Rolf Brekken
Awesome wait staff. Good drink selection. Small plate funky (in a good way) food. Food is presented as shareable. It takes a while to get everything u ordered, be prepared for a slow meal. Everything we ordered was very good.
Brian Grantham
A nice place to enjoy a good meal. The choices are small plates that come out at anytime. There is always something on the table. There is not really offerings of appetizer, then main course. It is different little plates and tasty. The service is very good, we never had to get our servers attention. We will go back again.
Jayme Mortensen
This place was amazing from the food to the staff, they went above and beyond! Visiting from Minnesota and had read good reviews, so decided to try it out.
When we first got there and got our plates, we were a bit confused because they were small but “shareable” however, this was some of the best food I’ve ever eaten and we enjoyed sharing and would definitely come back. The wine was also amazing!
We came for a birthday, and I asked if I could bring our own cake and they said of course, they also put it in the fridge until dessert time and had a candle for us to use.
The cherry on top was that they got our birthday girl a card and all the staff signed it, and we had no idea until the end. The gesture was so sweet and thoughtful and unexpected, it made all our nights.
Great food, wonderful staff, delicious wine and beautiful environment. Oh and lastly! The DJ played great music as well!

I've been to Rooster & the Till several times, all in very different situations and it has always been stellar. Most recently was alone after work- walked in and found a spot at the bar and decided to experience the tasting menu. It was great! Also came on Valentines day with my wife for that menu and it was also something to remember. Who knew pickled green strawberries would be something I'd enjoy? That's what I most like about places like this that offer tasting menus. You end up going out of your conform zone and experiencing food in a new way. I'll keep coming back as long as it's interesting, and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down.
Randy White
ONG, incredible food experience. Don't hesitate to do tasting menu with wine tasting flight. One of the best eating experience and food I've had. Best is sitting a kitchen counter and watching all the masterful chefs serving up their creations.
G W
This place is excellent. On a business trip from NY and this will be a regular stop when I am here. You wouldn't expect from the look of the place but everyone who walked in knew each other so when you have regulars you know own the food is good. Plates are small but the flavor is unbelievable. I had 4 plates. Shrimp... Wild boar... Cobia collar and then gnocchi.
Elsa Wright
I went there for my birthday dinner with 7 of my friends, and we ordered everything on the menu. (Yes one to two of everything). Every single dish was fantastic. The crispy cobia, roasted brussel sprouts, foie gras, and the lamb loin were our favorites. The Trinidad James was honestly the best drink I’ve ever had in my life. The staff was friendly, even through my friends giving them a hard time. The desserts were good. Not amazing but worth a try. At the end of our dinner we gave a standing ovation, they deserved it. I would definitely come back over and over. Well worth every dollar.

First I have to say the food was excellent. I cannot complain about the taste of anything. Some of the best flavors for a foodie. But going out to eat is more than just a meal. Trendy, hipster, these are the words that for me describe the atmosphere along with stark, industrial and loud. It felt more like a bar than a restaurant as the bar dominates when you walk in and tables are along the walls. Our server was very nice, although he tried to steer us toward the more expensive option of the chef's tasting. We elected to go for the small plates. There is no in between. He explained that the plates were meant for sharing and that they would be a little bigger than a traditional tapas. Also that they would be brought out as they were ready as they did not have a warmer. All of that sounds good in theory. However if you are hungry... Our first plate was brought out and as my husband had wanted this one mainly for himself, I had a little and waited for the one I had selected for myself, along with 2 others we were going to share. (He didn't want to share my foie gras.) Well, when you are hungry and waiting, it's not pleasant. My dish arrived as my husband finished his and he got the pleasure of watching me eat. Then we waited again while they changed the plates and silverware. After a little while they brought another dish. Very yummy, very small, two three bites, it's gone. Waiting again. You get the picture. We had one more plate and the cheese board. Maybe a little bread or something would have made the waiting easier. And it's so loud. There were three men next to us and they were getting louder and louder with each glass of wine to the point I had to get up and leave, it was so annoying. The food was excellent, as was the service. However with the small plates, and all the richness of that food with nothing to help balance it, like salad or bread it was just to much and not enough at the same time. It would be great for a snack and drinks but not for a meal.
Dan Rogers
The restaurant is in an up and coming area but the food was amazing. Couldn't recommend more the tasting menu and wine paring! Service was excellent--knowledgable and attentive servers.
Brett Erickson
Really enjoyed all the food we ordered, accept the oysters. They were $3.25 each and were the smallest oysters I’ve ever seen! Do yourself a favor and enjoy anything else off the menu other than that!
Steve Bernstein
My wife and I had dinner here last night. Our first time, but definitely not our last. We started at the bar with a bottle of wine. While a bit early for our reservation, our hostess was able to seat us whenever we were ready. While there are tables lining each side of the restaurant (keep in mind, this is not a large place) we had reserved 2 seats at the Kitchen Bar. Sitting there enabled us to watch our chef prepare our dishes from start to finish. And since Arlene and I are true foodies, it was a real treat. The menu is broken into 2 parts; small plates and slightly larger plates. Many previous reviews stated that portions are small and "don't go if youre really hungry". I disagree. I thought the portions were just right. We started with fresh oysters with a lemon ginger ice. I could have eaten 2 dozen. This was followed by the liver pâté, tuna crudo, and a lobster mushroom risotto. Our dishes were all delicious and the service was excellent. We've been in Tampa for 3 years and to date, this was, by far, the best restaurant we've been to. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, as well as the overall atmosphere. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend Rooster & The Till.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about - the food at this place is AMAZING! I love the concept of shared plates because everyone gets to try more things. Everything on the menu is fabulous, reasonably priced (considering the exceptionally high quality of the food), and the wine and beer selection is great too. If your'e on a budget, the wine menu offers several very good $25 bottles, or you can bring your own for a $15 corkage fee. The best part about the whole restaurant (if you're a foodie) is dining at the kitchen bar. You can watch the chefs prepare the meals and if they're not too busy, they'll talk with you about the food or whatever else. Finally, the service is just outstanding - everyone is incredibly friendly, polite, and prompt.
Casey Saling
Everything here was delicious! We were in town for a bachelorette, we all ordered an item and shared it- so many flavors put together that you would never think of. I thought the prices were great for the quality of food! Amazing.

Dont listen to Chris' poor review, clearly its their fault for not knowing what the hell they were going into. Im from Portland, Maine and this place reminded me of home. Its small, inventive dishes and everything is crafted with care. I went there on my anniversary of 8 years with my fiance and it was the best restaurant Ive eaten in the area. We both dont drink, so this is strictly food but they do have a nice wine and craft beer list. I mentioned in passing it was our anniversary and they gave us a free dessert. It was quality service and quality food. I cant recommend enough.
Michael McGinn
Was in the restaurant a few weeks ago. I have to say it was a wonderful experience. We were greeted promptly and we had seats at the bar. We decided to get the chef's tasting so we could try many things on the menu. AMAZING FOOD! Overall great experience. Enjoyed the interaction with the chef and our waiter. My new favorite restaurant in Tampa.
Scott Harrell
There's not a lot to say other than it's the best restaurant in Tampa. Imaginative and innovative food from across the spectrum. The kind of meal you remember for years. This crew is good.
Ian Foxen
holy cow, this food is amazing. these dishes are off the charts- definitely expanding my palette and learning about new flavors. there's no doubt this place earns the praise it gets. melt-in-your-mouth!
Guðmundur Guðmundsson
So great to get something different here in Tampa. The flavors and presentation more urban and entertaining than most other places locally.
Not cheap, but we walked out feeling our money well spent.
Kaitlyn Ranze
I honestly wished I could rate this a 3.5 of 5 stars because it didn't quite rank a 4/5 for me. Though the entire service staff was well educated and efficiently guided us through a complex/exotic menu, I am not compelled to return. The drinks were adequate with some local selection and variety for tap beers. The serving sizes left a lot to be desired and were meant to be shared despite the pretty exorbitant prices. There's a wide range from gnocchi to cobia but no single dish is filling - it's more like a tasting. I can't complain about the quality of the food, but after six different dishes, I wasn't overly impressed. If you're into fois gras, it's all yours, but the taste didn't compel me to return nor justify the price to me. It wasn't worth it to me, unfortunately.
Amber Johnston
Great experience to sit at the bar and watch everyone cook and make the dishes. Great staff and friendly service. These are small dishes to order and share. Many were too spicy for my husband tho :(
Bridgette Paulson
Very cool and unique place. I've been here multiple times and am always impressed with the menu and the food/ drinks. Great vibe and I have no plans on stop coming here.
Justin Baine
Have come to r+t for the past couple years and they continue to raise the bar of culinary creativity in Tampa. The level of both the food and wine continues to increase in both complexity and quality. If you are looking for a fun food experience this is the place to come in Tampa.
If you are looking for a simple menu or consider yourself someone who is not interested in breaking out of the Tampa culinary box this is not the place for you. I continue to see people in Tampa rate a restaurant based off their own personal preference and not the quality of a plate or the people.
Ashley Turner
The food and service was awesome 😚. My husband and I went tonight as a date night out. The decore is super cute .. our waiter Laura was the sweetest she know a lot about the food and menu. A +. We chose 3 sharable items. Blue cheese ECT. Loft, pasta and beef shank everything is full of flavor .. we will surly back. I would love to see what they do with some Mac and cheese 😁😁

My husband and I are foodies. Our favorite thing to do together is try new restaurants (especially farm to table) we have traveled to almost every state and tried multiple different restaurants...Up until now our favorite restaurant was Lockland Table in Nashville (Originally home to us) and we always made sure to go when we were in town. Yall....... Rooster & the Till is hands down our new favorite restaurant of all time. Like words cannot even express how good it was. Chef/Owner Ferrell Alvarez was there and we were able to meet him. He is truly talented and the atmosphere was right on point. We will definitely keep going back. shout out to our server Katie as well, she did a phenomenal job and had great conversation
Daryle Crowe
Leaving reviews is not something I usually do. However, after getting back from a small trip to Boston and being hungry after my flight, my roommate and I decided to finally go check out Rooster & the Till which we had been eyeing for a couple of months now. And let me tell you we did not regret it one bit. The service was some of the best i’ve ever seen, and that’s coming from an avid foodie and someone in the industry. The staff was very-very knowledge, especially taking into account that the menu rotates frequently. But most importantly, every dish was immaculate and perfectly well balanced alongside their selection of beverages. The chicken thigh dish I had tonight was one of the best meals i’ve ever eaten, i’ll be talking about it for weeks. I will be back again and again.
Sam Goldberg
little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Awesome food. Make a reservation to sit at the counter for a dinner + show (makes a great date for 2 to watch them cook and guess what dish they're making).
Christina Hughes
Haven't been here in awhile, but this restaurant is great! Loved the dining experience, will be back soon.
Schmoo Cutlip
They really did a lot with a small space. I loved the drop lighting and crisp, industrial feel. This place IS designed for pretentious foodies to try unique and exquisite dishes so if that's not your bag head on back to the Ponderosa. I've been a big fan of the gastro pub experience for a while and really relish learning about new ingredients and cooking techniques. Pretend you are going to an Indian, Ethiopian or Greek restaurant for the first time: the way dishes are presented will be exotic and each one will be a perfect balance of locally sourced ingredients.
Courtney Offutt
Hands down my favorite restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. The food makes me melt inside and my mouth water just thinking about it. I see that some people complain about the portion size, but to me the food is wonderful and you can take the time to eat and actually taste all the flavors. In American restaurants/culture we have gotten away from quality and moved towards quantity. I feel like the "quality" part is something that is brought back into play at this restaurant. I cannot wait to be back!

Hubby and I ordered the Sunday Supper Club over the weekend. Man, it was amazing! The instructions were easy to follow and the food was great. Definitely going to do this again.
Nathaniel Tebeleff
Have been going here since they have opened and has been amazing to see them evolve & grow. Staff is always amazing and friendly serving up mouth watering dishes like the crispy cobia collar, how would have tought?! Chef and his amazing team always leave you wanting more.
Lupe Oh.
My husband and I did the Chefs Tasting and it was delicious. Pictures are attached, service was impeccable, and the restaurant has a cozy feel. When making reservations, make sure to ask to sit at the kitchen bar.
John Scott
This is the top of the culinary food chain in Florida. Go before they get a star and you will never be able to get in again. For adventurous eaters only.
Ken Krause
Always interesting and fun to watch. Sit at the bar in the back and watch the chefs work. We ask a bunch of questions and they're always willing to share what they're doing. Good wine selection and service is always great. Gemini was very helpful and attentive.
Ben LaMonte
It has been a few years since I last dined at R&T and what a shame. Everything here is fantastic but the gnocchi with short-rib has to be one of the best dishes in Tampa. Add the fried okra, roasted Brussels Sprouts, quail and cobia collar and you have one of the best ensembles of culinary delights in Tampa if not a larger area. If you have not been to R&T, go. You will not be disappointed. When you go, ask for Elischa as your server, she is awesome.
Fred Brooks
Wow, wow, wow Tampa! I am so glad I escaped my university trip to make a stop to this precious place. NOTE: If you are in Tampa for even a day I suggest making all the effort you can to visit this authentic and local restaurant .
With that being said let me share my experience:
For starters this gem is in the newly gentrified area of Seminole Heights. When I first walked in the atmosphere and the overall appeal was absolutely breathtaking. Dim romantic lighting filled the space with gorgeous clean light fixtures. I loved the interior design of the place; it was unlike any other that i've seen so far. They have very particular wrap around bar seating area that is very well designed. It surrounds the kitchen so I was able to watch the chefs prepare my meal .
For starters: I tried half a dozen oysters. I believe they said that these oysters are from Kentucky; well regardless, the oysters were unquestionably unique yet superb. Worth a try!
Wine : To start I had a glass of the " Cavallo delle fate" it was the closest wine by the glass to pinto grigio I was told and I adored it. It had such a refreshing and crisp taste to it that complimented very well with my fresh oysters.
For my main entree: I tried gnocchi with pork and freshly sliced colorful bell peppers. Imagine having the combination of warm comfort food with hearty freshness completely melt in your mouth at first bite. I can honestly say, I have never experienced food "melting into my mouth" but that is the best way I can think to describe this dish. It was so pleasing to have the new flavors and not the standard gnocchi but an inventive and absolutely scrumptious dish.
Second wine: For my main course/dessert I switched to red. I will say in the future I will probably select a bottle because they have a fair price point by the bottle. However, I had a glass ( or two) of the Cabernet Sauvignon from California. It was a hearty and bold wine that was delightful for my taste.
Last but especially not least, Dessert: So to be real, I was truly hoping for a slice of rich chocolate cake or mousse or by that means ANYTHING with chocolate... Being a lady who loves chocolate I was expecting to see a dessert item that had a chocolate lover option. To my dismal, there wasn't; however, I did settle for a dessert that made me get out of my comfort zone but was completely worth it. It was called the Mocha Custard which contained a fancy array of candied brioche, honey roasted pistachio gelato, and a cheery topping. Like I said, normally I wouldn't venture out this far but I am glad I did.
One last side comment, Customer Service: I was honored by the level of customer care I received. I had the wonderful chance to meet both of the owners who seemed like spectacular individuals and very open to converse with their customers ( which I adore). My server was sweet and attentive which is always important. In the end, I left feeling like visiting this restaurant was the best decision I could have made on my trip.
Thank you to everyone at Rooster and Till. Until next time!

My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary here. FABULOUS experience! We just moved to Tampa 2 months ago from the New York City area, and were blown away by the excellent food, amazing service, and awesome atmosphere of the Rooster & The Till. We will be back again and again . The wine was amazing, and the food was unique and full of the most amazing flavor. We highly recommend The Rooster &The Till!
Myrna Marquez
The service was exceptional as well as the food. Small portions which was great also. If you go ask to sit by the kitchen bar. It was great seeing them create the costumers dishes.
Todd D
Great food, but portion's were so small, it was funny actually. I think it's a great place to go with a group and drink and just snack a little, but you will probably leave hungry. However, the food was really good, and the atmosphere is fun. Waiters are good, etc.
Nicole Gossett
Cheers to everyone at Rooster & the Till for an incredible dining experience!

Amazing food selections! What a fun, cool place. We went with a large group and ordered several things to share and each dish was unique and delicious! Very cool atmosphere to match the cuisine.

Seminole heights is pretty much getting revamped because of gentrification but it's a restaurant renaissance happening in that area. Just on Florida Ave alone they do have the refinery, the c house, Nebraska mini mart and others i can't remember right now.
Restaurant: A
I can say that this place sits maybe 50 people which it's good to me because you can have a date night and hear your date talking. They also were playing Wu-Tang Clan which they got a lot of points!! Wu-Tang is for the kids B!! If you actually sit at the bar you can see the chefs cooking the food which is a big plus also!
Food: A+
I must say that this place is for the adventurous!! So don't go there thinking you're going to order a burger or a steak because it's not happening!! I had three courses and as i stayed the plates are small and it's for two people maybe three. First dish i had was FOIE GRAS | SOUS VIDE PEAR | CASHEW PEAR BUTTER 'NUTELLA' | MINUS 8 HUCKLEBERRY GASTRIQUE. I never had foie gras before but i must say it's an acquired taste but o would definitely eat that again for sure. Foie Gras is duck liver! It was salty, creamy, seared good and delicious. The pear with the cashew butter Nutella and huckleberry gastrique tones down the saltiness of the Foie Gras which made the dish over the top good. Second course i had was PORK BELLY | CORNBREAD | SPICED HONEY | PICKLED APPLE. The pork belly was on point!! The cornbread was made perfectly! The spiced honey was divine and the pickled apple make everything come together for one tremendous bite. My dessert dish was VALRHONA CARAÏBE SEMIFREDO | GRIDDLED BANANA BREAD BRULEED BANANA | WHITE CHOCOLATE CREMEUX | CHERRY GEL. I died and went to foodie heaven for sure! So much flavor profile hitting your taste buds at one time it's unexplainable B!!
Customer service: A
Nice staff, food and drinks came out at a timely matter and being that it's a small restaurant they put focus on it like it's a big restaurant!!! Most of all the serves were knowledgeable which is a big plus as well!
Overall:A++
Great place for date night or a hangout!!! Location is very good especially in a area that used to be crime ridden.
Each dish is really good and the staff is nice and kind!! I would definitely come back and eat here again!!!
Grant Patterson
Voted Best restaurant in Tampa 2 years running. Incredible attention to detail and chef/owners that truly care about their craft and their community. They continue to push forward in their pursuits with other concepts while always keeping this place running like a top. Never fails to impress. Thanks Ty and Ferrell for everything you all do!
J Johnston
We absolutely love this place. Staff is super friendly and engaging. I must admit the menu in some cases sounds like food you would maybe not want to try, but once you do the food is SOO awesome!!! Literally have never had a dish we didn't like.
Winchester Dermody
Very hip place to see and be seen with imaginative food and prices to match. I'm sure the best version of the dishes we ordered are awesome. Unfortunately the version we received, not so much. Worth visiting if you're happy to roll the dice.
Antonio Seveso
AMAZING
The only word to well describe this place. We should need thousands of places like this in the world.
Rooster & the Till is the place where you eat well. The variety is perfectly balanced, and the staff can kindly guide you to get precisely the plate you were looking for.
The food is mainly produced locally, supporting the local farms and getting food produced in Florida, then cooked in a superb and original way. The philosophy used to create this place is the philosophy we should see in more and more restaurants every day.
If you are in Tampa, please make sure you visit this place. You will love the choice.
Aja White
The server was so knowledgeable, when I didn't know what was going on without menu at all. She didn't make me feel bad for not knowing what certain foods were. Miles was also really cool! Definitely a place I want to visit again.
Rachel Hearn
Our favorite restaurant in the Tampa Bay Area. The food is creative and delicious! The chef’s tasting is a delightful experience. This place is a must for any foodie!
Jonathan Henley
This is a beautiful restaurant. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent, but I was shocked by the prices. I have no problem paying good money for good food, but either the prices need to go down or the portion sizes need to go up. As much as I enjoyed the experience I don't think I will return simply because of the startling lack of value.
Jeremy Ayres
Absolutely worth the price. We tried 5 dishes between four of us, and everything was delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this for a fun night out.
Erin Swartz
Excellent food in both presentation and flavor, and wonderful atmosphere and service. Only negative is that it is pricey as you have to get many small plates per person to make a meal... But you're paying for the whole experience so some might say it is worth the cost.
Jonny Tee
One of the few places in town that my wife and I can always depend on to be delicious. Every different thing on the menu is extreamly well put together and they execute it very well each time. The service is also fantastic.
Houston Parks
Amazing food. Amazing service. I've been here a handful of times and always leave satisfied with a smile on my face.
They do not serve liquor here, and I would recommend getting a reservation.
Matthew Thebeau
Fantastic food and a menu that changes frequently. The staff is attentive and the chefs are artful and master's at their craft. If you want a great meal and a good experience this is the place.
Zach Short
I considered leaving a review with just five stars and no comments...because...is there really more good stuff that needs to be said about this place? Chef Alvarez and his entire staff take care of you from the moment you make a reservation (or just walk in) to the moment you're trying to squeeze out the door from eating everything on the menu. Because you will. Try everything. It's all good.
Lonnie Ledford
"Best Place for Couples to Have a Late Dinner"
My boyfriend and I experienced one of the best meals in recent memory. The service was spot on and the food was made fresh right in front of us. You've simply got to go experience it. You won't be disappointed. #LonnieLedford
David Wilson
Food is amazing. Be prepared to sit down for an experience. They serve like tapas, single dishes at a time to force you to share with your party. Short rib gnocchi is to die for.
Matt Naso
I've had 2 amazing dinners here! Go with friends and share some really unique dishes. Nowhere else in Tampa will you get this level of a food experience in this price range!
Andrew Kuykendall
Best food in Tampa. Expansion initially concerned me but really improved the overall atmosphere to allow more bar-seating and a less crowded environment. Really hope they never follow through on their threats to take the gnocchi off the menu.
Nihilistic Seahorse
Best dinner in Seminole Heights. Five of us had tapas (sizable portions) and two bottles of fine wine for $250. They have the best ox tail and octopus. I love this restaurant.
Chris Hurlburt
Can't add much more than what has already been said about this place. Would definitely recommend sitting at the bar to watch and get an appreciation for the chefs and their work. Food and service were both excellent all round.
Dan D
If you like trying new things and aren't afraid to allow a chef to amaze you, just go.
Great for romantic evenings or double date with your foodie friends, you WILL have an amazing night of fun and delicious food and drink.
Don't pass it up. Parking is awful but you'll want to take an Uber anyway.
Mani Jacob
The food was great. I loved the atmosphere and the concept. Was just the two of us but had a great experience. Pricing was appropriate for the quality of the food. Only con was it was noisy, but i did not mind.
Maud Poudat
The food was very delicious from the swordfish belly to the brussel sprouts, seabass and grouper cheeks. The deserts were not over the top and I would say that's only thing that would need a bit of improvement. But overall a must try local foodie place!
Michael R. Hartley
Amazing food fantastic service menu is incredible
Michelle Guerrero
My husband and I love this small gourmet nook!
We ask for Leah each time and leave impressed with happy bellies every time! Plate options never cease to amaze us! We are FANS! Call ahead they are full most times!
James Baber
Just ok. The delicate scalop crudo was destroyed by too many flavors and then topped with too much ground pepper. The gnocchi was definitely not home made (i.e. frozen) and the boiled tomatoes made it taste like cheap chili. The lamb leg, although surprising in form, was a winner if only because it was allowed to shine on its own (although the goat milk arepa was so over fried I set it aside as flavorless). Staff was extremely friendly and the beer menu was fantastic.
Ginny Good
I stopped by for a quick, "Happy Hour " snack. I ordered oysters and the charcuterie board. The flavors were amazing. The service was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and well informed.
Steve Cortese
I go to Rose’s Lux in DC once in a while and I’d call this place Rose’s South. Except a bit less pretentious and I can walk right in!
Great place.
Angie Marie
The food was unique, savory, and overall very good! The wines they choose for the dishes paired so well with the food. I highly recommend this restaurant!
kate hannum
I had the pork belly and absolutely loved it. It's like a tapas place. Service was excellent. The atmosphere reminded me of a bistro in Montreal except no one was speaking French.
Alejandra Cardenas
My humble recommendation, if I had the option to place 6 stars I would gladly place them, alternative and creative cuisine with new and perfect flavors / mixes, seared scallops, eggplant goat ricotta raviolo dream dishes ... impeccable presentation and service, without words all the staff have a wide knowledge of, open kitchen where you have the pleasure of seeing creativity in all its splendor, you have the option of tasting all their dishes with affordable prices, it is worth the investment
LaNe NaDeCar
Wonderful experience! The food was great and the service even better, very knowledgeable staff and very professional. The chef changes the menu often according to was is in season which I think is great.
Nicole H
Very good farm to table restaurants with local beers and wines. Excellent food and service, but should be described as a tapas restaurant as all portions are smaller and meant to be shared. A little over priced for the portions.
Richard Pope
Small and smallish plates. All are imaginative as well as attractive to the eye. Service is entirely pleasant — attentive without being intrusive. No tablecloths means a casual feel but there's nothing casual about the standard of the food.
Stephanie Morge
Amazing food! Such unique flavors and presentation.
Katina Franke
Best restaurant in Tampa! There is nothing pretentious about the chefs and the plates are the perfect size for sampling. If you want to stuff your face for a cheap price, go to Golden Corral.
Jay Silver
We ordered the whole menu to share and enjoyed ever dish. Great service and awesome staff. This is definitely a Tampa Bay must visit resturant. Loved it.
Amanda Logue
Loved the tasting menu! The first of the six courses (a tartare) was meh, but everything else was mind-blowingly good. That pork sando changed my life.
Sean Fletcher
The staff was great and the food was delicious
Very pricey for the quantity of food you actually get, but quality was there for the price! It was a good experience for a one time deal
ray arneson
Really really good food! Get the tasting menu as for the price you get wowed and bedazzled! I always add on foie gras as the final course. Trust me and do it! Service is top notch.
Alex Berrios Jr
Great selection of drinks. The food is very tasty. But the prices are much too expensive for what you get. They only offer appetizers for the price of full entrées just down the street. "local" isn't enough to charge exorbitant prices.
Michele A Rankins
If I could give 10 stars I would! Every item in the menu is spot on, so delicious, so meticulously made with care. Amazing, absolutely the best restaurant in Tampa!
C Fraser
Good restaurant for 'foodies'. Good taste and texture for entrees. We split several small plates and really enjoyed. I agree with it being rated a top restaurant in Tampa Bay
Rene Martinez
Excellent food and service, lots of variety in the dishes that were put together with a lot of thought and creativity. Carefully curated list of wines from around the world. Expensive.
Luis
Amazing food and amazing service, it’s a must go place in Tampa
Anthony Caico
Literally the best culinary experience of my life thus far and exceptional service to boot!
Thank you so much Chef Alvarez.
Your passion translated to the most memorable and best food we have had hands down in the surrounding areas.
P.S. Katie was absolutely amazing btw and a gem in a world of lackluster food service/service in general.
Cobia collar & Eggplant goat ricotta raviolo--
2 of the best dishes in the entire Tampa area!!
Gabriela Frank
I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything about this place is worth going. From the service to the food. Definitely sit at the kitchen bar if you can and their Chef's Tasting menu was a pleasant surprise!
Helen Abreu Reyes
The food was amazing. My husband and I had the degustation menu and we loved it. Server was awesome.
Victor Lanz
Service was great from Peter on how, what food prep and cooking as he described our options on the few chooses on the menu. Food was tasty, an experience done sadly to say won't care to be back.
john blanche
We wanted to try something in the new Seminole Heights area. This place was amazing. Amazing service and the quality of their cuisine was off the charts. Well done. Will be back.
Jennifer Mendez
My boyfriend of 3 years took me here on our first date so great memories. I was thrilled that it was still open. The food and service were top notch!
Preston Davis
Rooster & the Till is truly an amazing little spot and one that should not be missed! There seasonal offerings are to die for and with there constantly changing menu, every time is a new experience. This truly is one of the gems of Tampa.
Danielle Amodeo
The food was good however not a place to go if you are hungry. Plates are very small and over priced. The amount I spent on 3 plates I could have went to Berns for a steak dinner. I won't be back not just because of extremely small portions but the price
Brian
The food is beautiful and delicious. However, it very expensive. If you have the means for it, I say go for it. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. Good experience. Just more expensive than I expected.
Patricia Spain
If you're a food don't miss this place. I had the steak tartare and it wasn't good it was amazing!!! So much fun to watch them assemble these works of art right in front of you. I'd say it's a destination.
Mark Sarno
Fixed 5 course New Year's Eve menu was fresh and delicious with interesting combinations of flavors and textures. Service was pleasant and timely. Very enjoyable.
Jared Kelly
Great food. Locally sourced, innovative menu, superbly prepared. Sit at the bar to learn more about what you are eating. Tasting menu is a steal - virtually everything on the menu; feeds 4-5 people.
Chris Kremer
Food, atmosphere and service are excellent. Incredibly smart and talented people. Amazing restaurant and fantastic food. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
Ross Hill
The food could best be described as "creamy". i thoroughly enjoyed the creme fraishe. Thwerp. The mushroom bone sauce was especially yummers. Also, sometimes when my neighbor goes to work for the day I go into his garden and roll around like a cute little carrot. :)
Josh Littleton
Thank you so much for a wonderful evening out. We had the pleasure of having Maura guide us through the menu. She was engaging, always timely, and her suggestions were on point.
Christian Leon
Each dish was as truly excellent as the last. While earlier trips where more memorable for creativity than flavor, this visit was a perfect match of the two. Excellent.
SueSweetSue
Sunday pop-up brunch is fantastic!
Andrew Saadeh
Every plate is is crafted to perfection. Properly sourced ingredients that come together to create a symphony with each bite. This place is a must visit.
Steve Young
Great food, great service nice atmosphere. Plates are good for sharing or hoarding if you just can't share! One of the best restaurants in Tampa
J K
Great place for 4+ people: order in rounds, everyone orders something different, pass the plates around. The gnocchi is one of the best dishes in town.
Phil Forest
Great food. Best in Central Florida that I've tried so far.
Rama Gosine
Best new chef and best restaurant in the tri city(Tampa, St Pete, Clearwater) area for me. Finally a place that doesn't leave me wishing I was eating back in California. Well conceived, cooked, and plated. Duck Heart Tartare, was a perfect execution of how to prepare and serve offal. Parisan Gnocchi with pate a choux perfectly light and pillow like for the palate. Rich ricotta and moist short rib, with the pepporonata providing the right punch of acidity and color to a great dish! Wish they had a few more wines by the glass, otherwise....SUPERB!
mrmatt19881
Simply delicious. Phenomenal decor. Come, eat, drink, and be merry you're going to thank me.
Michael Logan
Bartender Ronny was absolutely incredible for sourcing an incredible dinner and drinks out. Highly recommend the experience. Simmilar dinning in St Pete @ The Reading Room in St Pete.
Cecile Vu
Great food! Nice ambience. Brea was a great waitress!
George Capozzi
The wait staff is very good here. They were attentive and helped with the menu and the wine selection. The food was good.
Lee Evans
I really enjoyed their unique combinations of food! Service was warm and excellent! You have to try this place, it is worth your time to experience!
Debbie Pepin
Great dining experience and loved sitting at counter to watch the kitchen dance. Enjoyed the chef's choice menu w paired wines
Tom Knotts
Love the atmosphere. Staff is wonderful. We've eaten here several times, the food is good but consistently over salted.
Gary Martinez
Good was very good, but it is a bit expensive. A little pretentious for me, but good food. I can't say the same about the drink I had. It was some tyoe of Thai drink but it was undrinkable to me
Henry Young
Art and food are not two separate things and Rooster and the Til proves it. With over 900 guests since 2010, 65% of whom dine out, I can steadfastly affirm Rooster only receive accolades.
Chorizo Beets, Agua Chile.
Bart Brown
Definately a culinary experience. Not unreasonably priced. This is for the adventurous. Don't expect any sort of comfort food other than the corn pone.
Hector Lamb
The food is amazing and the service was spot on. While, this is not a place for a cheap, quick bite... Consider this a great place to try new dishes that are amazing and geniusly executed.
Isaa Moncion
This place is awesome , a good expience overall , just don't see why if one party orders the 75 dollars tasting menu ( which is over priced for the portion you receive) everyone one on the table has to order that 75 dollars tasting menu , the ambience is chill and relaxed , parking and location are also easy to access .
trent lott
Great food and friendly staff! make sure you aren't too hungry though as the portions are quite small but i'm also a black hole when it comes to food
Beau Noonan
Awesome! One of Tampa's best for sure. Cobia collar, Foie Gras, Gnocchi and fresh pasta - all knockouts. Great beer and wine list. A must!
Paul Arrington

Even better! Great service and atmosphere too!

Ryan Montesano
Cool Delicious. Foodie spot in tampa! We enjoyed it! Be prepared to order multiple things as the menu is set as a tasting style restaurant.
Cory Games
This place is a must.
Great food. Great drinks.
The cobia collar is amazing... as was every other dish I had.
Adam Grossman
This place would have Michelin stars if they looked at restaurants in Florida. Everything on the menu is fantastic and priced reasonably for what it is. Highly recommended!!
Zachary Male
This is the best restaurant in Florida. I have eaten at at least 100 different restaurants across the state and nothing is as creative, original, or delicious as Rooster & the Till.
Bailey Hypes
Cobia tastes great. if you wanna spend 7 dollars for a water, get a cocktail with no alcohol and leave hungry this is the spot
Eric Vinton
Great selection of beer and wine and oysters. I'm not a huge fan of tapas, but they do it right with high quality ingredients and preparation. I will definitely be back.
Jonathan Richie
Quite simply stated, one of the best to ever do it. If you live in Tampa, GO. If you're visiting Tampa, GO. If you live somewhere else in the world, book a flight, reserve a table and GO.
Judith Hall
Interesting place..the south African white wine was great. Drawback is that like so many others really noisy..hard to hear over the racket
Robert Cosme -

Tiny tiny appetizer sized dishes for $20 but it is good. Just don’t expect to get full under $100
B B
Great service and atmosphere. Food is good, not great. And the prices suggest great. Thus the three stars.
