Nice neighborhood place with a (what seems to be) very local crowd. The place has plenty of pool tables, some darts and A LOT of screens to watch any sport you want. They also have huge (but comparatively low alcohol) fishtank mixed drinks which are great and you can sip them through the evening. Definitely will consider this place next time we want to play some pool.

Sat down to have a meal with friends and was greeted by our waitress Jamie. She was fun and made sure we were taken care of. Great recommendations on food and drinks, and made the night better. I had the wings with a combination of lemon pepper and Daytona sauce that were awesome (thanks to her). If you want some good food/drinks in a 21-35 year old atmosphere, I definitely suggest checking it out. Give it a go!

Went for a date night with 2 other couples. The environment was fun but calm, clean, and service was wonderful. We had a few drinks and some appetizers while there, and played a few games of pool. Food and drinks came quickly, the server was attentive and kind, and the tables weren't packed for a weekend evening. Would definitely go back.

Very small and they crammed 3 big dinning parties in one little space all behind each other. We couldn't even scoot our chairs out. The food was not appealing at all. The chicken nachos had no season just chicken breast. Pool was fine tho. The drinks could have been stronger

Incredible place to hang out with friends. The food is good, the atmosphere is amazing, and Aimee the bartender ROCKS. Best mixologist in Tampa. We will definitely be back and bring more friends. Tonight was our first experience @Peabody's and it is definitely on the list for return visits!

We went here for a group event and had an amazing time. Our Server Morgan was exceptional, she never missed a beat and always had a smile on her face. I think we've found our monthly Happy Hour location for sure.

Really good spot to watch sports or play pool with friends while mixing in the American cuisine. The drinks were also really good. My menu favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich.

This place has really turned around. Before it smelled funny and looked more like a run down bar. Now, the place looks amazing. Total face-lift and I will definitely be coming back. Went during slow time, so not really sure how it is when it is packed. Sam, the bartender was great! Food was pretty good too. Will return to check out the busier hours.

We celebrated our Founders Day at Peabodys and everyone working was extremely nice, they did their very best to handle almost 80 of us. I can't remember the Servers name but she did an amazing job, served everyone with a smile and got the food out as quickly as possible. Great job Peabodys.

Local sports pub with snooker and more.. Cool place to hangout with friends and play some snooker ! Been visiting here over three years and always loved the place. Food is always great here and awesome staff! Casual place to hangout which is open late night though the kitchen closes at 2am , you can still order food thill 2:40 ! Must try if you live near USF. This is one of the top places to hang out with friends, have a few, play some pool or darts and other games and watch sports, plus prices are not bad and it is in a convenient location. My wife and I went there to hang out with our friends, it was a lot of fun, their drinks are really good, all three of our friends had their wings and they loved them. I had the Margherita Flatbread and the smell was really good, the balsamic reduction was on point but it was a little bland, nothing that a couple drops of Tabasco can't fix, the fries were not that good, they weren't crispy. My wife had their Buffalo Chicken Wrap and she said she didn't feel the buffalo sauce at all, maybe they forgot to put it in or maybe it's not that strong of a sauce, I go for the former since we couldn't find any indication of the buffalo sauce but it was still good, again nothing that good old Tabasco can't fix. But overall the food was good and it has been great other times, on Wednesdays they also have specials and slice of pizza. Kyrra was our waitress all night and for a place as packed and busy as this place was, she was on it all night, she never let us hanging and made sure everything went right so she definitely is the star of this review. I also had a Banana Rum Punch and it was delicious, not too strong that you can't taste the pineapple or the banana. Good overall experience. If you are visiting or going out with friends, make sure you come here, it's a lot of fun

I was fixed to enjoy some awesome wings at Peabody's for lunch. Come to find out they didn't start serving wings until after 4 pm. What was I to do??? Enjoyed a nice Cornbeef sandwich. It was delicious along with a nice Heineken on tap. The Bartender was nice with great conversation. I will go back but after 4 pm to get them wings.

Stone hearth oven and just flatbCuban. Will upgrade yo 5+ if pizza comes back before NFL 2021! Very popular downtown spot. This place is great fun with friends or just stopping to have some drinks. The food and service are great. It may take a minute to get your food because they are so busy,... But it's worth the wait and it's delivered hot. You can never go wrong with this place. It's always good. We went to get free tickets from the 97x drop. Megan was our waitress. She was amazing. She explained that we could break our order of 20 wings up into sets of 4 flovours. She told us that bud select was on special $6 for a pitcher. I was so enamored by her skills that I left her a 30% tip. Sadly I had no cash on my person at the time. The restrooms were so clean on could have eaten off the floor. I found a supervisor and sang Megan's praises to him. So what does he do? He proceeded to give me a free appetizer card and a 20% off purchase card. Amazing. You just don't get this in the 3rd world (Where I grew up)

Peabody’s presents a multi-faceted approach from a family friendly game room in the day, to a full bar with ample pool tables, amazing food and fairly priced alcohol. Their wings are a gem to order in the area and all the flavors do not disappoint. They have pool tables, darts, foosball, and other games. Best part is there is no smoking indoors! Okay, cool bar to go to but the last few times I been I caught covid they need to start wiping down the bars more often. I like going here but I really had to cut back for that reason

Nice college bar. Good amount of pool tables and other games. Well organized, clean, nice selection of fairly priced drinks and friendly staff. The drinks aren't quite as strong as I'm used to at my local dive hall, but that's probably a good thing considering the young crowd. The bouncer looks like the hulk but is a super sweet guy. He told me to smile at one point as I was walking by (which as a person with rbf and social anxiety I am really not a fan of hearing all the time) but later came over to genuinely apologize and say he meant no offense. It was very sweet of him and not something people are usually thoughtful enough to apologize for. My husband and I plan to return next time we are in Tampa.

Wonderful experience! Came in and got a table but quickly changed tables to be not so on display 🤣. Thankful that they were willing to work with us and got a new table in a corner. My only negative about them is every time I changed whatever I was doing I had to settle the tab. There needs to be a way that when I walk through your door, no matter what I do in your establishment, it's one tab.

This place is a childhood favorite of mine. Much of the staff has been there for a long time, and I feel at home when I come. They usually keep their pool tanks and alike in decent order so even an amateur such as myself can enjoy a couple rounds.

It's a Tampa staple! Really has cleaned up in the last few years- new games and atmosphere. Wings are delicious and their Cuban sandwich is made with Boar's head. So good!

Been coming to Peabodys for over 10 years on and off. This place has great rates for pool and a nice sized bar. They also have some other arcade games. They do get very busy on the weekends. Nice sized parking lot.

Didn't have my phone but next time. 20 pool tables or more! Same for Televisions! Other games like basketball and the Cowboy burger was great! Applewood bacon, cheddar cheese and onion rings! Then I got a coupon for discounted food and free 1 hour pool. Great music and real nice bartender.

Cool atmosphere, lots of tv's and games to play. The food on the other hand was a disappointment. We all had chicken, I had a chicken sandwich and my friends had wings and unfortunately they were all undercooked. They did the right and comp'd the bill. I think we would give them a second chance because what we did actually eat safely was very flavorful. They have a good variety of beers on tap and bottled so we will give it another go.

Was visiting some family who recommended this spot and I loved this place. Finding a place where you can play pool in peace is rare, but what took the cake was the fantastic service from the Server I believe her name was Melissa. She was extremely beautiful and had some amazing looking tattoos. She had a certain charm to her and her recommendation on the wings didn’t disappoint. Overall this is a nice chilled spot to hangout and have a few games.

This place could be "Peabody's" but it's honestly JUST peabody. Let me explain.. You have the Darts, The Pool Tables, like.. A LOT of Pool Tables. The Bar, the energy, the vibes! There's out door seating that isn't all that, but just enough to set the Saturday night tone for a great night out with some close friends who want to be loud and free. Definitely hidden gem potential. Where it all falls apart, at least the night that I went, the Staff were not very motivated, on top of the ridiculous pricing of $7 per person per hour, and the lack of information given, either on the menu, near the recreational activities, and staff. You can literally go anywhere else to play Pool for potentially a fraction of this price. I did not even want to bother asking for the darts pricing. I was either going to be demotivated by the staffs tone when giving this information, or completely blown away by the price. My advice, come here if everyone is chipping in, and don't expect much, even though inside, it seems like it'd deliver. The drinks are fine, the food is fine, desserts are delicious, and at least I still enjoyed myself.

I think they have very unique and interesting drinks for a decent price. My food was good. On the weekends it is busy and crowded but I has a typical bar feel on the weekend. Despite the crowds though the servers are attentive and quick. The bartending staff is also quick with getting out drinks. They also have all you can drink between certain times on the weekend. So I thought that was cool. Nothing to complain about 🙌

Bartender and staff is SUPER nice, I heard them remembering people by name and the vibe is really cool in here. The games are pay to use, but it's not that much and it makes the time worth it to just have fun. The Bartender was also on top of everything and gave excellent service.

This is typically a nice spot to hang with friends, but I didn't really enjoy my last experience. We brought a friend from out of town. Food took an extremely long time and it did not taste as good as usual. Received fries well before our actual meal. Ordered fried pickles and found what appeared to be seafood in the basket. I've seen busier days so it was hard for us to understand the wait. The waitress was super nice and apologetic. I'd come again but hopefully we won't have the same experience.

Cool place with several craft beers on tap along with more craft beer in bottles and cans, as well as a full liquor bar. Lots of billiard tables and other games. They have a good selection of bar foods and seemed to be a 'no kids' kind of place which is good for adults looking for a place to relax, grab a bite, and perhaps gather with friends and/or co-workers. This is a nice spot to get out of the house and have a little fun. $10 per person gets you an hour on the pool table. There's music, good food and drinks. They have other billard games as well. Really nice vibe.

The photos do it justice. The place is well kept, clean, and safe. Many things to do there to include, multiple pool tables, darts, and even foosball! Drinks are cheaper than most places and the ambiance is great there. They also have tons of outside seating.

One of the better pool tables in the area. They aren't pristine because drunk people do play on them often but, the felt isn't bad and the rails still have bounce to them. The food is good for bar food and the bartenders are great with a variety of drinks. Recommendation... get a better rum selection. Overall very fun and has a little bit of everything for everyone. Prices for game play and drinks are reasonable.

Peabody's has become one of my favorite billiard hall / sports bar. They have around 12 -14 excellent pool tables, two inside full liquor bars, great food (full size kitchen). Their managers and co workers are so friendly! They truly care about their customers. Try it out! You won't be disappointed.

Brand new remodel completed this place is great! Food is quite good with a full bar! The TVs are everywhere so this is an ideal spot for your favorite game! Dart boards and pool tables everywhere to keep you entertained!

The drinks were great! The staff was friendly. When we arrived we gave our name for a pool table, but we were never called. Lucky the drinks were good. The music was decent. It would be nice if they had a small dance floor for anyone that might like to dance

Great beer selection and good food but the environment is what makes this the best bar in New Tampa, maybe even all of North Tampa. Pool is pricey when the night gets goin but theres always tables available within the hour. Cues and darts get maintained pretty well. Patrons are always an eclectic mix of Tampa's finest. Always sports on the many tvs but with music playing over top unless its a special event so its the right balance of casual sports bar, neighborhood dive, and genuine quality night life establishment.

Not sure what the deal is with the other reviews but I came here for the first time on Monday and I found the staff/servers to be nice. Food was good as well, decently priced, but still good. Also Pool tables and overall environment is kept clean. Good vibes overall based on my experience.

Pool prices are reasonable and enjoyed foosball and the arcade basketball. The darts for the dart boards definitely need to be replaced. Most were broken.

The employees were nice. They had good beer specials. The pool tables looked good. It was quiet when I went, Tuesday afternoon, and there werent too many people. It's your basic bar (strong smoke smell) but has great food. Try the mac and cheese wedges!

Really good atmosphere, wings were really good. Had a few drinks and played some pool. Pool is expensive, $7.50 per person per hour which i found ridiculous but hey business got to make money and with little competition from any other billiards place nowhere nearby, you pay the tab and be glad you had a decent time.

We had a charity event at Peabody's and I cannot say enough positive things about their staff....the hardest workers you will ever see, and incredibly kind people! Their managers and staff went above and beyond to ensure our event went as successfully as possible. Jeff helped us set up, Amanda was wonderful, and a special shout out to Austin as he checked to make sure we didn't need anything every 15 minutes (and helped bring all our stuff out to the car after the event was over)! A HUGE thanks to Moe for helping with donations and arranging the event, as well as making sure everything was going well. Every single staff member I interacted with was positive, energetic, and so so sweet. They are big hearted people who love their customers and love their jobs... and it is evident in all that they do! GO HERE... you won't regret it! P.S. they just redid their menu and all the food and drinks are amazing!! There is everything to do here from pool to skeeball to trivia... amazing place. Much love from Lydia and My Hope Chest.

Peabody's... definitely a good local go to. Fun place good people awesome staff some of the best bartenders period. Ask for Tim he's been my go to guy since day 1. As far as food goes the wings are the best thing to order in my opinion. There are other good items as well only thing I am not a fan of is their burgers... other than that everything else is good. Great spot for local college students of USF if over 21. Management and security is awesome as well. I have had a lot of great times there. They also have Billiards and other games too for reasonable prices. Definitely a good hang out spot especially for happy hour and the awesome hourly drink specials!

Daughter and I had an excellent time. Went around noon on a Friday and wasn't crowded at all. We did a pitcher of coke and ordered the meat lovers pizza. Pizza came out hot and to the table within 25 minutes. We played pool for about 3 hours (very few tables in use). I'm sure this place is a lot different during the evening hours, but during the day it was perfect to bring my kiddo. Bernadette was our server and she was on top of everything...very attentive. Didn't have to ask for drink refills...done automatically. We would definitely come back during the day. Most pool halls resemble a strip club (dark and dingy). Peabody's is the complete opposite. A must visit.

First time being there, and I absolutely loved it. The veggie pizza was amazing and they had plenty of things to do while there. The thing I loved most was that there wasn't any smoking allowed in the restaurant. Not too many pools halls are smoke free. This place is ideal for a fun night!

I love the staff here, they are always helpful, have a smile on their face, and willing to help or go the extra mile to make my experience great. There is always some special, deal, or event happening. They have a regular Mon-Sun scheduled drink and food specials. It was really fun! Mondays they have half priced appetizers and some drink specials. I had a fishbowl and the best mules I've ever had. Definitely try the Georgia peach mule, so so good. The wings were good also and pretty standard pricing, not expensive. Come here for some drinks and pool with friends.

The pool tables are a little bit too close, so you'll be waiting around for the other table a bit, but it's not too big of a deal as long as you're not there during a really busy time.

We just picked up wings and pizza (to go) for the kickoff of football season! We haven't been to Peabody's in YEARS although they are located in our neighborhood! Everything was DELICIOUS! My husband said the interior of the restaurant looked AWESOME, like they did a mini makeover! He said there was no smell of smoke like before and it was SUPER CLEAN! Our to-go order had a THANK YOU note on it with a 20 percent off coupon for our next "dine in" order and 1 hour of free pool! Way to go Peabody's! We will definitely be back soon!!

Cheap pizza and booze - what more could a young person want? The bartender was a lot of fun and the patrons were great to hangout with! We got a pitcher to split between 3 people and it was affordable. The pizza was super tasty too and brought right out to the table quickly. All in all, a great college bar.

I've only got two issues with this place. The first is out of their control, and actually good for their business. It gets too crowded! I like to play pool. Actually play pool. Most people come here to drink and get in pool players' ways. Second, there is always a bathroom attendant who darn near tries to wash your hands for you. Weird. I can wash my own hands. Everything else is pretty much amazing here. I've never tried the food, but the drinks are good and service usually prompt. The wait staff is far more attractive than Wing House or any other similarly themed venue.

Came here for the first time a few days ago. My first experience was nice the staff was nice everything seemed relaxed and chill. Came out for some food and drinks and we were greeted in a timely manner and our food was good and brought out to us with no long wait time. It was pretty packed when I went but everyone looked like they were enjoying a great time shooting pool and having drinks at the bar. Prices were good I was expecting a high bill but was shocked to see the tab was below anything I expected so thats a plus. I love the layout of this place have lots of tvs good for watching games. This place was lots of fun. Went here on a date we played darts for a couple hours. The bartenders were very friendly has where the wait staff. The other Dart throwers were also very friendly and gave us tips on how to throw darts better. I had a makers on the rocks. It cost $9.45. Surprisingly, they allowed people under 21 in here until 9 p.m.

This is my local watering hole. Staff are always friendly and professional; and the patrons are very diverse in age and background. Late at night, it becomes mostly college kids but still, it's very safe. I've never seen a fight because security is very tight. It's a fine place to bring kids for lunch, dinner, or to watch a game or play games, but it's 21+ after 9p, which is an appropriate and responsible policy.

The food was great. We went there because they were having charity bingo for the Humane Society. I didn't like that they only had hightop tables. My leg fell asleep since I was there longer than usual due to the bingo. The server was not familiar with how much the charity was supposed to get and said she was going to ask the manager, but didn't. So I pulled up the event notification on my phone and showed her.

I've been coming to Peabody's for over 10 years. The staff is top-shelf -- they're awesome people who remember your name. The food is also excellent -- most bars wouldn't bother with such quality, but they do Boar's Head meats and crisp, fresh veggies, and everything comes out exactly how you order it. Their wings are also amazing. The bartenders know everything about pouring you an awesome drink, and there's always plenty to do. If you want an amazing regular hangout place that'll make you feel like you're a regular on Cheers, this is as close as you'll find in all of Tampa.

It was our 1st time. I have been to similar places throughout my life and I would rate this one at the top of the list. A nice selection of craft beers and ciders. The food was a good as any pub type food I've ever had and better than most lunch places. The pool tables were in very good shape but a bit expensive, although we were having a great time that we weren't paying attention to the time as you pay by the hour, as a typical billiards place would do. It wasn't crowded but we were there early for a Saturday night. The difference maker for our evening was our "attendant". Kayla wasn't your typical server. I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and I recognize the difference between good service and great service by the little things. She did those things that you would expect in a fine dining establishment. She was one step ahead of us the entire evening. Every time we needed something, it was already there. I would hire her for my business as she has "IT" when it comes to customer service. When we go back, we will call ahead to check her schedule to see when she is working to plan our evening.

Just placed an order here for the first time and got the garlic knots starter - they are perfection! The dough was delicious and fluffy and they were drenched (in the best possible sense of the word) in garlic. Marinara was delicious too so I bet the pizza is great. My friends got their standard favorite - the breakfast burger with bacon and a perfectly cooked over medium egg on top. Their curly fries taste a lot like Arby's fries for a comparison. Super prices and so so tasty! The sweet tea is amazing as well. I will be eating here again for sure.

Went here for a Christmas party and had a good time and I'm not sure if the food we were served was from the kitchen here but if it was then I strongly suggest the chips and salsa, the sandwiches and the chicken tenders. Not cheap tasting like most bars but good quality & just right. Service was excellent. No waiting for servers, she was constant, informative, knowledgeable & attentive. Pool tables are in great condition & game play is great price. Slightly close quarters but really no impediment to game play. Only drawback was a wait for few minutes for a table to open up but turn-over was quick. Wish they had more room for more billiard table but they make it work. They had some trivia going on when we arrived & didn't get a chance to play along which was unfortunate. Had a great time, will definitely visit again.

Peabody's is first and foremost a pool hall. The number of pool tables almost outnumbers the number of tables for sitting. That being said, the food and drink menu is surprisingly good. They have a fully stocked, full-liquor bar, and all the big beer names on tap or bottle. The food is typical bar food, but the burgers, pizza and wings could stand up to any chain restaurant. There are food and drink specials throughout the week like endless wings, $2 burgers and $2 pizza slices. Some nights it can get very busy, and service lacks because of it, and even on slower days it can still take a while for orders to come out. So if you're looking for a quick in-and-out snack, be prepared to wait a while. But if you're looking for a place to enjoy some sports on their TVs, play pool or darts or just meet some friends and want to hang out for a while, then Peabody's is a good place for you.

The billiards tables are very good, first off. Wings and burgers were good too. We'd ordered garlic knots as an appetizer but they didn't show up until 15 minutes after the rest of the food had been served. The cook brought them out personally but the effort was wasted as he didn't apologize or say anything, just frowned at us, even when I commented that they looked good. So odd! We arrived around 5ish and the night shift starts at 6, so it feels like there are 4-5 servers standing around doing nothing while one server does all the work (while customers wait). Maybe stagger the shifts??

Both delicious. The first round is 10 wings and each one after that is 5. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The music is great too b/c they have a Rhapsody jukebox where you can pay $0.50 for any song that you want to hear. Pool tables, billiards, a few games as well. Looked populated on the outside. ID at the door. Large space, new looking and well designed atmosphere. Several pool tables on the right, lined with arcade games. Mostly Dining on the left. A TV every two inches. Ordered spinach dip appetizer (half off!), and a black bean burger, and fries. All were delicious, presented well, and filling. The fries were thin and floppy rather than stiff and dry. The spinach dip, although it had tomatoes cubes (ew, I picked them out) was rich and cheesy. Great place for a date. Our waitress was a sweetheart. They have drink specials, which include Kentucky Mules! This place is a rare gem.

Servers are all cute, and drinks are reasonably priced. What more could you ask for, lol. The food is pretty good for bar food. Wings are on point and some of the best in the bay. Id say theyre in my top 3 wing spots. Plenty of tvs for sports fans. Mainly cater to american football, but still get good crowds for soccer, basketball, hockey, and baseball. They have a bunch of regulation size pool tables, bunch of dart boards, a few foosball tables, basketball machines, and golf arcades. Ive even seen the black widow up here a few times. If youre a big fan of billiards then you know who im talkin about. They have events all the time like paint nite, ufc (door cover for those nights), halloween events, ugly christmas sweaters, nerd brew, and trivia etc. They do have an outside patio for smokers and vapers (no vaping inside)

Food is hit or miss. Some things are really good like the cheese steak or large pizza, other things terrible like the chicken ceasar or slices. Prices for food are very high. Beer can be relatively cheap at $2.79 for Mich Ultra to $4-5 for a Stella.

The club section on weekends is ok but not spectacular. TRY the dragonberry lemonade drink (not the shot), it's made with dragonberry rum and it tasted like Skittles! Went tonight, had three orders while i was there, one for 2 chicken tacos, and fries, one for 2 beers and a soda, and lastly a cash order of the $10, bonesless wings, and yet i got a $50 charge on one of the purchases. A gem in the middle of nowhere. The place is very nice and big, it has a bar/club area and the pool tables area with two island bars. To play pool you will need to be sign up in the waiting list and it will be $5 per head per hour per pool table. If you will be drinking in the first island bar you see at your left do not order any drink from Beach, he is a nice guy but always in a rush and won't do them right, get the guy with the glasses better.

I love to come hang out at Peabody's on Tuesday when they have their 100 People game (a knock-off version of Family Fued)- it's completely free to play and you play as a team with your group- They have daily specials so check out their website- THE DRINKS Great drink specials and prices on their punch bowls and such 2-1 shots after a certain time during the week THEY HAVE A REALLY BIG SHOT SELECTION- ask a bartender for a suggestion or have a look at the menu THE FOOD -Wings: so good- the glory sauce is worth it and their prices are reasonable for bar food - Nachos- my friend got the nachos with chicken and HOLY NACHOS there was so many- great appetizer and good for sharing DESSERT - They have this dessert called Zeppoles and you dip them in this caramel dulce de leche dip and they are TO DIE FOR so so so good (SAVE SOME ROOM) 'Nuff said- wanting to know your net friend night out?
