Absolutely loved this place!! We received s gift card for Palazzos a couple weeks ago and had never heard of it before. We popped in and were not disappointed!! The pizza here is absolutely amazing. The crust is perfect and the sauce is great. The employees and the owner are so friendly. I am counting down the days until I can go back.

I was visiting the tampa area for a family vacation and stopped in randomly to Palazzo Pizza and boy I’m glad I did. I was greeted by Jason who I believe is one of the owners and then everything from there was smooth sailing. My family and I enjoyed everything in the pictures while we watched some football on Sunday. The only thing not pictured is the empanadas which were awesome as well. I had never tried Parmesan on Buffalo wings before but I don’t think I can’t eat them any other way now. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Tampa area. If you see this Thanks Jason and sorry about your Packers!

Very good pizza. Crust was good, the sauce, cheese and spices worked well together. Add some pepperoni and that's perfection. This isn't your average pizza! One of the best I've had in Tampa.

Pizza and cheesy garlic bread was AMAZING! Was only in Tampa for 3days and ate here twice. Both time it was 10/10. When we ate in we had a friend tag along that didn't order anything at all. Owner came out and asked our friend if he could get him a soda or something (he can't drink caffiene). The owner proceeded to go back and whipped up a batch of lemonade just for my buddy free of charge! We came during the time they are closed for their lunch and they didn't ask us to leave or anything! Best pizza I've ever had and fantastic service! Now my only complaint is there isn't one back home in Indiana!

Complete garbage. They gave us a burnt pizza! EDIT: the owner apologized for my experience, assured me this pizza was not up to Palazzo standards, and graciously refunded me within 24 hours. I am changing my 1 star review to 3 stars, because I appreciate his sincerity and customer service. However, I have not returned to retry the pizza.

I highly recommend Palazzo Pizza. We went for lunch with friends. Food was delicious and all fresh. Hand tossed pizza was delicious. Service was impeccable. Owners are very pleasant and caring for the customers. We had the antipasti salad, sausage, peppers and onions, wings (delicious),meaty meat pizza (full of meats). We will definitely be back!!!! This is our new go to pizza place!! Not only is the pizza delicious and fresh, but the service is amazing. This place really knows how to take care of its customers. This past Saturday we got 2 take out pizzas, it was ready right when I told it would be and was greeted by the nicest employees. When I got home I put the pizzas in the oven to keep them warm until our guests arrived. Well this was a big mistake, as the top of the box was touching the top oven burners and caught on fire!! Thank God we caught it quick and avoided a potential disaster... but it still ruined the pizza that was on top :( After cleaning up the ashes, I called Palazzo's back to place another order of the same pizza and briefly explained why I was getting a repeat order. When I went back to pick up the pizza, I was greeted by the same sweet people and they all knew what had happened.. when I got my card out to pay, these gracious folks did not charge me for the replacement pizza. I realized this is a family-run place because when I was thanking them, the girl at the register and kitchen guys pointed to a guy standing at the bar (presumably the owner) and said to thank him. I did thank him and spoke with him for a moment. Very nice people!! They had a big group in the restaurant watching the Gator game, such a nice, fun family-friendly vibe. I left there with a warm heart and a warm, delicious pizza!!! This day in time it seems like it good service is hard to find... it was refreshing to find great service, nice people and delish pizza all in one place!!!!

My family and I stopped here doing dinner with our daughter who goes to the university of Tampa. We were looking for something close by. Jason the owner welcomed us right away and got our order and brought it out hot and fresh. It tasted amazing. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. He also brought us some cookies to try as he supports local businesses and even told Us to try another place that is super good. Loved this place and will definitely be back often! The first thing that caught my eye was the owners man bun it was perfect not overwhelming or cocky but beautiful nonetheless, which is ironically exactly what I’d say about the chicken wings not oversized but exuding flavor and taste. Chef salad and Meatballs taste like they just got off a first class flight from Sicily.

The bread is so perfect the cheese is perfectly melted and stringy as you take each bite the peppers are so amazing with alittle crunch , i honestly eat this twice a week before work , it’s that amazing !! Now if ur craving a quick sweet tooth definitely get the beignets. This has to be my favorite place from lunch to late dinner to even a drunk night wanting pizza best place to be !!!! My boyfriend and I love this place. We both agree that it is the best pizza we’ve had in Tampa. Every time we try something different we compare it to Palazzos and it falls short. Definitely recommend the margarita pizza with pepperoni.

The pizza here is some of the best I’ve had in Tampa. Nice and crispy bottom with tasty crust. The service was incredible as well. Staff is attentive and extremely friendly! Highly recommend! Had their meatball appetizers which was also delicious. They are a bring your own alcohol establishment!

We stopped here after our high school reunion. It was late and everything else was closed. The service was fantastic and we were welcomed with open arms. I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. The food, music, and atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10.

Lack of attentiveness led to me mistakenly ordering a pizza that had no mozzarella cheese on it....and yet, it was still somehow one of the best pies I've had in this state! The sauce is outstanding, the crust is crisp and chewy perfection, the toppings are fresh and quality, the service is quick and friendly. I will definitely be returning and trying a more traditional pizza next time!

This place is a wonderful, neighborhood pizza restaurant. We were a large party of 25 and they accommodated us perfectly. We ordered everything on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful. The owners are friendly and engaging. I can not say enough good things about this place. My favorite items were the wings, meaty pizza and margarita. Just ordered 2 pizzas and a slice of Mike’s Pies using Uber Eats. Pizza was delicious. The slice of pie was pathetic considering I paid $6.50. I know how much a slice of Mike’s Pies is and this was half a slice at best. Stick with the pizza and avoid the dessert.

Good pizza, great service. We ordered food from here last night. Door dash forgot a chicken sandwich. I called the restaurant. They were very apologetic. Asked if I wanted a refund. I told them I preferred to have a new one delivered since my daughter doesn't like pizza. The owner personally delivered it and would not take a tip. They also included free dessert.

Palazzo Pizza is the best pizza in Tampa… the aroma alone will have your mouth watering. We live in Plant city and I will drive to Palazzo Pizza on W. Platt St. for pizza night! Why you ask? Because it’s just that darn good! From the pepperoni and cheese down to the tomato sauce and crust. This place is truly amazing. Everyone there was extremely helpful and very nice. The atmosphere was so serine and peaceful. If you’re looking for a great place for pizza nights then Palazzo Pizza is the best choice. This pizza is really good you have to try them out for yourself! If I could give them more stars I would but ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☺️

I was born & raised in New York and finding pizza in Florida is hard to say the least. Not only does Palazzo pizza blow NY pizza out of the water, but the service is second to none! Jason is always in a great mood, funny, and engaging with the customers. He even adheres to my bizarre requests for toppings. Point blank- if you’re in Tampa you must try this pizza

DISCLAIMER: This review is from a customer using his mouth and not culinary expertise to form an opinion. This is my current favorite NY style pizza in Tampa. Get the sausage king! The only thing keeping this from being 5 star is the mushrooms had a rubbery mouth feel and seemed underseasoned to this reviewer. Everything else was choice.

my sausage Pizza was fine but I'm trying to understand why so many 5 stars. I grew up in Manhattan for 30 years and have had many great and terrible pizzas there, Tampa and many locations. This pizza is fine but not knock your socks off delicious. Service seems fine, cool location, looks like a nice pizza joint for families & friends but the yummy factor just didn't get to me like my favorites - recently closed (& hope Skip reopens again) Mirro's, the Jersey-style pizza from Santoro's or the Cup & Char at Forbici's. I know taste and especially favorite pizza is a very sensitive topic with lots of opinions. I may try Palazzo one more time in case maybe my taste buds were off that early evening and & I didn't get why it is so amazing.

First visit to Palazzo Pizza, we were picking up a large pizza that we ordered on line. When we went in I thought I was back in a Pizzarei in New Jersey. I was greeted with a warm smile by the baker and the Pizza was ready to go. We started eating as soon as we got home and it was very good just like I remember Jersey Pizza to be. Delicious NY-Boston style pizza. Very cheesy and chewy with great crust and excellent sauce and toppings. The owner says he uses the best, more expensive parmagiana cheese to create a better, more authentic but gourmet pizza. I absolutely agree! Their Italian meat balls in marinara sauce are also delicious as a side or one of their sandwiches might grab you for a hearty meal. This newer Platt Street restaurant in Tampa's Hyde Park area is open into the wee hours for the after club and bar crowd as well. Check out their menu online.

Glad it was open late night. The pepperoni pizza was good but my friend got a slice of buffalo chicken that looked bland, which she confirmed after trying it. The bathroom was not open for customers which was not the best when you're out late eating somewhere.

Call back to the store to tell them my pizza was not right the owner himself Jason bought me a second pizza it was great. I respect Jason as a business owner and as a person that cares about his company. If I could give Jason a 100 for customer service skills I would give Jason a 300 for his customer service's skill I am from out of town but I will always shop with Palazzo because the owner Jason works very hard to make sure his customers is happy and satisfied You don't find many companies like that anymore. A new casual Italian restaurant on the Platt Street commercial area in Hyde Park near Post Hyde Park apartments. The map shows Courier City/Oscawana-Hyde Park. I read great reviews online about Palazzo from other Tampa area residents and really wanted to try a new pizza place. I looked up their menu on Google, where they state the restaurant is Boston-style Italian, and decided to call in my order. Their base price for a big 18" cheese pizza is $20, $16 for a 14". Toppings are extra as with all pizzerias today and noted these prices are comparable to their competitors in this part of Tampa. I talked with a friendly fellow and ordered a large pie with mushrooms on the whole and half meatball. I was told about 15 to 20 minutes before the pizza would be ready and found parking next to their distinctive building which has covered porches with outdoor tables and benches on both sides of the entry. Apparently this is a late night venue in this popular area of Hyde Park, similar to the action on Howard Avenue just west of this locale. I went in and was greeted by the fellow I talked with on the phone. The restaurant is fairly small with a good sized open kitchen behind the main counter and looks like it was previously a bar with concrete style floors and walls. There is indoor seating but not busy yet as I was there before 9pm. I paid for the pie at just over $24 with toppings and was surprised how big an 18" pie is not usually buying such a large pizza. I also noticed they have a decent menu of Boston inspired Italian foods other than just pizza. While getting ready to leave I met the owner, Jason, a friendly, personable 30ish guy in a baseball cap who I asked if he was up to competing with the other longtime established pizza venues in south Tampa. He seemed very confident and shared that he had tried a bunch of them over the years and was actually very close to one couple who own another pizza restaurant that has been in the area since the 90's. I shook his hand and promised I'd rate Palazzo. So, the pizza looked great when I got home and was delighted how delicious and well cooked it was, even all around with the crispy-chewy style NJ/NY/New England style crust I love, excellent amount of parmagiana cheese, very flavorful tomato pizza sauce, not too oily, and tasty toppings. The crust was so flavorful and chewy I polished off each piece I chose and the crusts left by my partner who doesn't eat crust ends. As my grandfather used to say...if you don't eat the crust you don't know what's good.😄 Palazzo is an instant winner in south Tampa and they received a Creative Loafing "best of" sign displayed on their counter to prove it. But to be honest, the proof is in the great food, pleasant, casual decor and friendly staff. Next time I'll stay in the restaurant for my meal.

Unbelievable experience in all aspects; food quality, staff courtesy and overall ambiance.
