We’ve been excited to check out Olivia for a while and had been hearing awesome things about the vegan menu! They have limited options but we ordered all 3 entrees to try since we were quite hungry and they all looked good. The pizza was good - I wouldn’t say anything super special but I do appreciate a good vegan pizza without fake cheese on it and the flavoring was still really good. The pasta pomodoro had really good flavor and we got this with gluten free noodles which were quite good. There was a good amount of veggies in there as well. The risotto was definitely our favorite with a really good creamy flavor for something made without dairy. The mushrooms inside were really good and they were able to make this without corn for us since each is made to order. It said this also came with Brussels sprouts which was actually just a few leaves (exactly 4) and no whole sprouts so that was a little disappointing but overall still a great dish. We got the pizza as an appetizer and it came out super quick but we waited a long while (about an hour) for the rest of our food. It was a busy night but still quite a long wait. Overall really good experience and great ambiance in the restaurant. Our waiter was very kind and checked in on us regularly

Outstanding service, food, atmosphere etc. This place is a sister restaurant to our other favorite, Oak and Ola, over in armature works. I've been to Olivia only once, but if it's like Oak and Ola there's going to be new dishes and specials periodically. I can not recommend enough to go try some designer and delicious drinks, as well as some spectacular food. I could tell it was fresh, hand-made and there's a seriously talented crew both in the kitchen and behind the bar. The staff were super friendly polite and responsive. Our drinks were never empty and the food came out in perfect time with appetizers and entrees. I tried to do justice to what we ordered with my camera but it's just best left to "in person experience" Many folks were dressed nicely, I doubt there's a dress code that's too strict, but you'd probably enjoy a celebration or special date night here more if you treat it like a special occasion. I'm absolutely going to visit many times, perhaps my next birthday. Lastly, please ask questions and advice from the staff, I imagine they taste it all and will give legit advice based on first hand knowledge. Try out everything, from the top of the menu, to the drink menu, and don't forget to at least look at the dessert menu.

This place is one of my favorites in Tampa - delicious pasta and pizza, even the brunch is fantastic. Service is usually on point and the kitchen execution has never disappointed. You have to try the drool worthy garlic bread.. I dream about it sometimes. The tweak on chicken and waffles for brunch is incredible as well. Great wine list and cocktails too!

This place is a new favorite for me! For visit was for their brunch and then came back a week later for dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Both times - food was amazing and service! Drinks are also amazing! Appetizers and Dessert! Great Wine also!

I went here with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was amazing!! The service from our waitress was A+ she had good recommendations, knew every detail from the menu, and was so kind. We even came back for brunch the next day. I sincerely didn't love my dish (the omelet) but the pizza and the truffle fries are so good. Definitely we will be coming back when coming to Tampa.

OVERALL: Classy, but still beyond delicious! I would recommend Olivia for any meal of the day! For brunch, they have a yummy assortment of options. Their cocktails are always fresh + fun. As well, their staff goes above + beyond to make your experience a positive one. The same is true for their dinner experience! Their Italian inspired menu boasts a variety of delightful dishes that never cease to impress. In addition to their cocktails, they have a delicious wine menu. Once again, the staff is amazing + provides a depth of knowledge on each dish + drink. Personally, my bridal brunch was hosted here + every guest raved about the experience. Olivia is always a wonderful choice!

We went to OLIVIA on a Saturday night with a group of friends — it was amazing! Our server, Amanda, was very nice and attentive. We ordered a lot of items from the menu and we were blown away by the food and the amazing service! Everyone was organized and the kitchen spaced out the food serving perfectly! 10/10 would come back again.

Went for a girls birthday brunch and the quality of service here was amazing! The food is so worth every bit of what they’re charging and the ambience is unmatched!!! Cannot wait to come for dinner next time! I got the Aranchini my favorite dish of the day, a croissant, and the biscuits and gravy and it was a fancy play on and eggs Benedict the bacon was the best part! We all tried everything and did not have 1 bad bite. Don’t even second guess come eat here !!! You will not be dissatisfied.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. 😋The crust was perfectly cooked and the nice combination of Italian ham and honey was perfect on it. I would have liked to try more appetizers they serve on a tower, like a sampler, but our waiter pretty much shamed us into not ordering, saying that it would be too much food for two people. And then we hadn’t even ordered the main course when he came to ask if we wanted dessert 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, maybe he was having an off day but this is a really really nice place. The atmosphere is so happy and inviting, the decor as well. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the cocktails. We should have ordered dessert too, but I swear the waiter would have judged us😂, we we just asked for the check and left. Will definitely go back though 😊

When great food meets fantastic hospitality. The attention to detail is easily noticeable from the minute you walk in. The drinks were carefully crafted and the food was spectacular. Carmen is a class act and really cares about the experience of the patrons. Our waiter Bill was an absolute gem. Thank you Olivia for a wonderful evening.

Olivia! Olivia! Olivia! Where do I begin?! This restaurant is fantastic! Every time you come here the food is just as delicious as before, never changing its perfectly cooked masterpieces. This restaurant is very lively, usually very busy, so if a quiet night out is what you're looking for then this not the spot. But the atmosphere is wonderful, nice decor, great lighting, educated staff. The scallops are to die for! They are so delicate and cooked perfectly every time. Definitely my favorite dish! The pastas are all incredible and so are the apps. You can't go wrong with Olivia and if you haven't been, it's a must try!

Steven our server was fantastic, in depth knowledge of all menu items and drinks. It was a pleasure being served by him. My Halibut was delicious, my wife had the shrimp and scallops, she liked it but she said the shrimp were overcooked. Her corn risotto was very good. She asked for a Togo box but it was never brought to us and we didn't remember until we got home. The appetizers were very good. All in all a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant was a little loud but thats a flaw in design, brick walls high ceiling industrial look. We will definitely come back

The good was great, it all tasted so amazing. It was very busy though, and loud. Not a great place to sit down and chat, but then again we did go on a weekend. The service was great, despite being busy they all were very nice. Keep in mind, it was pretty expensive, but you get quality food so, do with that as you will.

We accidentally fell upon this beautiful place for brunch on our way back home. We were going to go somewhere else but the wait was 25-30 min, so we left. We are always up for good food, yet sometimes it’s hard to find if you aren’t familiar with the area. After reading the reviews we decided to check it out. Upon entrance we were greeted with valet, they were extremely friendly and prompt. Apparently reservations are strongly suggested according to hostess, however, we had the opportunity to sit at the bar. The bar staff were just as friendly. It was a gentleman and young lady who served us, since I previously looked at menu I knew what I wanted, they suggested various drinks and were super friendly but still gave us enough space to enjoy our food. From beginning to end the hospitality and food was unbelievable. We travel A LOT and have tried hundreds of restaurants, and even tho this is 2 hours away from our home, I will definitely be back again, this time with the rest of the family. I’m not sure what the food was called but posted pics to give a general idea. The taste was AMAZING! The style is Italian/American, with vegetarian dishes available as well. The prices match the service and quality of food. A must go for anyone who hasn’t went, can’t wait to try other dishes, thanks Olivia!

We found this place by chance because we stayed close by on vacation and loved it! The food was delicious, I can highly recommend the garlic bread as an appetizer. The service was very good and the drinks were really nice. The only thing that was a bit bad was that since the place seems so popular, the waiting time was very long. We got our table 30 min after we had booked it.

I can’t say enough about Olivia. The food is amazing. I’d like to call out Lindsey, the Assistant General Manager, for being so accommodating to my daughter and I today for brunch. She made my entire day and I needed to share it. The service is always top notch but today was above and beyond. If you haven’t been yet definitely plan for it. You won’t be disappointed!

The food and drinks were flawless. Wonderful dishes to choose from and the ambiance was perfect. The evening was overall excellent except for the ending. My wife did not finish her food as she was so full from our appetizers, but the waiter offered to pack it while we ate our tiramisu and paid our bill. Unfortunately, her barely touched squid ink pasta was accidentally thrown out. We were very disappointed that the restaurant offered no solution and deemed it okay that a more than half full plate be thrown out and still charge us for their mistake. Finally upon leaving the valet staff were rude when my wife asked for a picture in front of the restaurant. They seemed tired and one partially apologized by stating he “had a long week.” To repeat: overall it was a great restaurant with great food. I think my wife and I had a fluke experience.

Hands-down one of the best restaurants in Tampa… Atmosphere, service and the food is top notch. Starting from when we walked in, to being seated, to ordering, felt like i was in a different area. I cant thank their team enough for everything and making our anniversary memorable!

Everything is good. We did the olive plate, Rigatoni w meatballs, pizza and drinks. And the apple desert. The staff is excellent. You pay for quality and it’s worth it. 100% recommended.

Food was amazing. Our waitress (I don't remember her name) was absolutely great. She was down to earth and relaxed but professional and on top of everything. I didn't care for the ravioli but I am not a huge fan of ricotta so it was a risk on my part. The breaded chicken was absolutely amazing though. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Although the food was very delicious... for the price, I think the portions are quite small and the menu in general is fairly limited to only a handful of selections. The atmosphere was nice and our server was friendly and efficient.

We came in while in Tampa for a quick lunch on a Saturday. And WOW!! From the outside to walking inside the decor is just breathtaking. It’s so clean and inviting all at the same time. I love how you can see the pastry chefs working through the glass. The food was amazing!!! I wish I could of eaten more. Tommy, the matradee was so attentive to us and kind. Our waiter was awesome also (sorry I forgot his name) my son works for this restaurant and comes home at the end of his shift always telling me about all the wonderful things he made that day. So it was nice to finally see the amazing place he works and put faces to some of the people he works with. They truly treat him like family and care deeply about their employees.

The Ponte restaurants don't miss!!! Cafe Ponte in Clearwater is my favorite restaurant by far, and On Swan is an amazing experience. Olivia is right there, providing the ambiance, service, and deliciousness that only these restaurants can provide. The goat cheese sformato was a delicacy, my wife and I salivating on every bite. Then the bruschetta came, holy hell! As delicate and decadent, yet sweet, a perfect balance against the sformato. The cacio e pepe was very good and the bucatini perfection. We also had the brussel sprouts which as absoeffi glutely phenomenal! The restaurant is extremely loud, definitely not a romantic situation. We did have a not so nice situation with who I think was the manager. He came over to our table to remove our drink glasses as our waiter was bringing the next. For some reason he felt he had to let us know the glasses should have been remove before hand. Not great to call out your employees like that, looks bad on you. However, we are both looking forward for our next night at Olivia.

Extensive wine and cocktail menu will wet your whistle. Chargrilled Oysters and the coccoli fritto cicchetti quickly establish an identity for the menu - fresh ingredients, layers of flavors, and great execution and presentation. Oysters come with one piece of fresh bread from scratch so go ahead and order garlic bread to sop up all that yummy butter and oyster liquor. It's a generous half loaf that will be trouble to stop eating. The brussel sprouts are the best I've ever had and a must-order for me. Scallops and shrimp and the risotto were cooked perfectly. Chicken Milanese was so-so and needs more lemon butter IMHO (maybe just an off night or I might order more on the side next time). Also had the Short rib agnolotti before which was a hearty comfort. Tiramisu wasn't overpowered by alcohol, if it had any at all. The flourless chocolate cake dish was divine. Great ambiance and service to match. One of the best Tampa dining experiences I've had and can't wait to try more of the menu.

This is a class establishment, no doubt. Obviously all their pasta is great but the Short Rib Agnolotti tastes incredible, bone marrow sauce inside the pasta is a lovely touch. Truffle fries were good but nothing special. Apple Butter Torta was outstanding, perfect with ice cream, but be careful with nut allergy as it came with walnuts, but was not listed on menu. Price is fair considering the quality of the restaurant, you can see them making fresh pasta and dough right through the glass in the restaurant. Zack was our waiter 9/10 recommended some great wine. 2 Must try's on the Menu: Waygu Carpaccio, Brussels sprouts (Honerable mention) Apple Butter Torta & honey and ham pizza Cons: Small tables, served red wine in white glass,(not a big deal but noted), small parking lot-(Valet)

Dress code. Valet parking. Fantastic food. Great place for formal dinner or celebration. Portions and quality are perfect. Drinks selection is decent. Service was impeccable. Over a week later and I have a severe disdain for most other restaurants and want to go back.

Nice spot but too loud. I saw some reviews on this restaurant and wanted to try it for our date night. They were very busy, glad we made reservations a couple weeks in advance. Drinks were okay I tried the Sequoia it was a good balance not too sweet. My SO had a Sangria which the bartender made just for him but it had a citrus flavor he did not enjoy it. We had the Burrata for our starter, we both enjoyed the different flavors. For dinner we both had the Chicken Milanese and shared the Truffle Mac & Brussel Sprouts. I really enjoyed the entree but the Brussel Sprouts were amazing, and the Mac n cheese was slightly spicy yet very good. Very nice place perhaps we will return.

My husband and I tried Olivia for the first time for our wedding anniversary dinner and boy are we so happy we did. We were visiting Tampa and wanted to make sure we ate at a classy, yet homey restaurant for the occasion and Olivia ticked those boxes and more. Every detail of our experience was 5 star. The complimentary valet parking, the staff, the little anniversary card and glasses of champagne (complimentary) when we got when seated, our waiter was awesome (I believe his name is Zach), the FOOD, the drinks and we even got taken care of by the General Manager several times, Carmen. He was top notch—attentive, warm and relatable. I can’t remember the exact names, but we had the grape bruschetta, goat cheese and sun-dried tomato spread, short rib pasta, flourless chocolate cake and the apple tort (the apple tort was TO DIE FOR). We will 100,000% be coming back every time we are in Tampa. Thank you for making this experience be so incredible and what a perfect dining experience should be.

We were a group of 7 people and for Italian Food we made a reservation through yelp at OLIVIA for Monday evening. The restaurant has a nice parking area and if the parking is not available then they offer valet service for parking too. When we entered the restaurant we were surprised by the beautiful decor of the restaurant along with the low lighting and beautiful candles at each table. The decor makes OLIVIA one of the date night restaurants in Tampa. We were greeted by our server Rory with the water along with the menus. I have to appreciate the server as he answered the questions well and whenever glass of water became empty he was there to refill it. From the drinks menu we first ordered Wild Masciarelli, Sicilian Lemonade, Strawberry Fields and Molinari Sicilian. Along with the drinks we ordered the appetizers which included Margarita Pizza, Truffle Fries, Arancini, Garlic Bread and Burrata. The service was good and we got our food and drinks in 10 mins. The drinks were amazing and made it fresh. From the appetizers we loved the burrata and arancini. Definitely have the burrata and arancini whenever you visit the OLIVIA. The truffle fries, pizza and garlic bread was okay. Pizza and garlic bread could be better. For the dinner we ordered Wild Argula, Vegan Michelle Pom, Brussel Sprouts, Frito Misto, Cacio E Pepe and Ravioli. Vegan Michelle Pom could be better as it was just like pasta made in the sauce. There was not much taste in the pasta. Brussel Sprouts was also nice and it was crispy. But it was burnt too much. Ravioli was delicious and we loved the ravioli. After the dinner we ordered Sweets which included Tiramisu, Vanilla Gelato and Sorbet. The Gelato was amazing and delicious vanilla ice cream. Tiramisu was okay and it had too much coffee in it. Sorbet had too much lemon in it. Overall, the experience was amazing.

It was just OK. So many Italian places in Tampa and checked this out. The restaurant layout is... tight and theres absolutely no kind of sound proofing so be prepared to constantly repeat yourself. Beautiful otherwise. Went for a midweek dinner and the restaurant was busy. Had a reservation so no wait. Valet was complimentary and worked on tips. Ordered crudo, arancini, salad, pizza, pasta and the grilled oysters. Grilled oysters were tiny. Crudo was the most beautiful of all the dishes. Pizza dough was soft and fluffy. Pizzas were cut in 4 slices and were huge. Delicious otherwise. Ordered their #1 best seller, the rigatoni. Flavorful enough. Other person at the table ordered the bucatini. Pretty but lacking. Our biggest complaint was ordering the wine. Wine was poured at the bar. Bottle wasn't presented at the table and at one point the 2nd wine serving didn't match the 1st serving.

My son booked this place for Mother's Day and all I will say is, he's not let me down yet with his restaurant choices! Lighting was PERFECT! Decor is tasteful! Food was good! And the waiter was so nice and engaging. I had 2 hiccups that were taken care of in a pleasant and prompt manner (I will not divulge in said hiccup), but overall I enjoyed my experience at Olivia!

Fantastic Italian restaurant in the South Hampton section of Tampa. The food is made fresh . The meatballs for appetizer is an excellent choice. The pancakes, mini rigatoni and margarita pizza were all very good. Large dining room and prompt service add to the experience.

Find My Food Stu

You’re not going to find a long menu of the traditional Italian dishes here. It’s chef Ponte’s own version of an Italian restaurant. Considering On Swann is one of my favorite restaurants in the area, I was pretty sure Olivia would be great. It’s definitely the trendiest “Italian” restaurant around. The bar (and parking lot) were already full by 5:30. The wahoo crudo was on point. They serve an appetizer sized dish of meatballs with a fontina fondita foam, because anything else would be too basic. Pastas are made fresh, but was caught off guard that the Orecchiette with squash, sausage, and escarole was wheat pasta and the menu didn’t state that. Eh. I’m not a fan of whole wheat pasta, but it’s a first world problem and other than that the dish was great. Pasta dishes are reasonable priced, with the secondi meats and seafood obviously priced much more so the bill can add up. But overall, it’s a great place and I’ll continue to come back.

Very beautiful location. Everything is clean and modern, but very comfortable and cozy. Brunch is fantastic! I’ve been twice now and the highlighted dishes were wonderful. I will say my toast on the Avocado Crostinos was very firm, to the point where I just couldn’t finish it. Flavor was amazing, though.

We absolutely love coming here! We came for Valentine's Day for a never disappointing dinner. I usually get seafood, I ventured out and got the lamb chop today. I couldn't be happier with my decision. To top off the impeccable service, flavorful foods and upbeat ambiance, Olivia had a Valentines dessert special, respectively cream filled canolis with the shells dipped in chocolate. I about fell over with delight! I recommend you try this place if you haven't! I also recommend reservations, but it's also worth the wait without reservations!

Spec-freaking-tacular! The food is amazing, the flavor is perfect on every dish. We had the Oysters, Pepadews, Scallops & Shrimp, G.F. pasta, Old Fashion and Inidgo for drinks! The Oysters were delicious, they had the perfect amount of crust on top, not too much so that it over takes the texture of the oyster and the delicious juices. The G.F. [gluten-free] pasta was out of this world. The scallops and shrimp are nestled on top of a truffle risotto and that was an explosion of savory yumminess!! We are bourbon fans and both agree that the Old Fashion was delicious, not the best in the world, but definitely delicious! The Indigo is a good drink, just a but too sweet for me.

Olivia is a spin on traditional Italian fare but absolutely so good. Their wine selection is expansive (we had a bottle of Bonanza Cabernet), plenty of small plates (highly recommend the arancini), and the pastas were so good. The mini rigatoni and cacio e Pepe were well priced and loved by our table. We also liked the homemade desserts, opting for an apple dessert. The service and atmosphere were trendy and well curated. Can’t wait to return!

Well done, Olivia! Well done Tampa! Our first time and we will be back. We had Halibut with gnocchi, Chicken milanesa, Arancini, Frito, Squid ink casarecce pasta and the Apple butter cake, cocktails and wine. This has absolutely become my favorite restaurant. Their rigatoni is the best pasta I've ever had (and pasta is my favorite food). I highly recommend going. In between upscale and low key modern, the interior is very relaxing. They have a wall of windows into a prep room where you can watch them make fresh noodles, desserts, and more. Update... Rolled instead week unreserved and found 2 seats at the bar for my date and me. Tall blonde guy bartender, you are my hero, service spot on food impeccable, and the way you were on the money with everything. You made MY night a home run! Let's just say, we had a wonderful evening! Keep up the great work! I literally don't know where to begin. The door was opened for me to enter the building. EVERYONE greeted me with a pleasant smile and hello. No reservations but was seated within seconds. Waiter was on the spot! Wine wasn't to my liking but asked for a suggestion to more my taste. Glorious. Appetizer was to die for. Then my meal was the squid ink pasta and shrimp 🍤 . My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Manager came over for some small talk and suggested a different wine for a future visit that would bring out the flavor even more, note to self... There were no leftovers unfortunately. Less than 60 bucks! Highly recommend trying before too many people read this review!

I’ve spent time in Italy, and I have to say that this place is the next best Italian cuisine I have ever had. The flavors, the portions, the attention to detail, all impeccable. Classy service (thank you Kyle!), amazing atmosphere, and as you can see, pasta is made in house. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu!

My husband and I took our small children here and they LOVED IT! Easily some of the best pizza I've ever had. The chicken had goat cheese on it which I did NOT like, once I removed it, the dish was perfection. The shrimp and scallop were seasoned to infinity and beyond which is always a great thing, not overcooked or rubbery. The squid ink pasta was the best thing that we ordered, I mean it was so good! The apple butter cake was good, it is not crispy so, just a heads up of you are used to buttercake with a crystallized topping. We sat at a Hightower where we could watch pasta and other it's being made.. my children and I were quite amused by this. They have a very attractive and friendly waiting staff which adds to the aesthetic of the establishment. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.

Perhaps, by far, this is the best establishment in the area. We arrived on Saturday, about an hour after opening. Our order was accepted and prepared quickly enough, despite the fact that many tables were occupied and a birthday party was being celebrated nearby. Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance, greeted warmly by very good looking, charismatic, friendly staff. Service is polite and attentive. We enjoyed our cocktails (extra dirty bleu cheese olive 🍸 martinis, Coco Chanel, and Isabella’s Passion), wagyu, wahoo crudo, soppressata honey pizza, and squid ink pasta. Julianne is our server and she was always so sweet, helpful and quick to return with additions to our order. It has been a long time since I have been so happy with a dining experience. I’ve been waiting to come here and it was everything I hoped and more. The food was absolutely delicious. I wish I would have taken pictures of all the dishes but pictured is the Chicken Milanese. Amazing! We tried the bruschetta and burrata on a garlic crostini. It’s very difficult to find fresh, quality burrata at restaurants and it was *chef’s kiss. My husband loved his bucatini and we all shared the tiramisu and the apple torta. Well worth my calories. I can’t wait to come back and bring my family! Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well. The only negative I would like to mention is that it was really loud in there so maybe not the best place if you are looking for an intimate, cozy spot. Other than that, best dining experience I’ve had in Tampa.

I don't hand out 5 stars generously. This fortunately exceeded my expectations. The only thing I would've changed was the seating environment as I felt a little squished in the corner they put us in (I'm 6'2 250 pounds so I'm usually a little squished in certain settings lol). But everything we ordered was amazing. I only want to talk on the pizza and the bruschetta though. We visited and ate here on Feb 9th and my mouth has not stopped salivating to go back and eat this again. I've never had a bruschetta like this before. I didn't even know they were grapes until I asked which sounds odd but the combo of everyone of those sauces and textures going into my mouth made me want to eat a little slower. Which usually I'm a resemblance of beast from the disney movie and just want to shove everything in my gullet as quickly as possible. The pizza has officially been declared as the best pizza I've ever had. The honey on it is just sooooooo good. And even though the place seemed like super fancy and nice the prices did not resemble that at all. I was very pleased with their prices. Thanks Olivia for making me miss you when I'm not there

Urban Italian restaurant. I can't say anything bad about this restaurant. The only downside is one of the things that makes this place nice and that's the crowd. It was a little packed but with a reservation we were seated almost immediately. As crowded as it was there was not the packed sardine can vibe. But rather a cool hip hangout for a nice night of Italian cuisine. Makes equally for a nice date night or a gathering of friends over a meal. The food was delicious. The drinks were made just right. This was my first time here as I came from Houston. 10/10 would recommend to any local or visitor if you have a taste for Italian while in Tampa.

For my first time here, it was pretty decent. Came here for a surprise birthday lunch and thankfully they were not crowded! They have something called mid-lunch, which to me is just regular lunch. We were hoping to come in for brunch after making the reservation on the same day (Sunday), but we didn't know what time it ended, so we tried some of their lunch menu items. The ambiance is very modern and clean. Seating is comfortable. Their drinks could be a bit stronger, seeing as we all got drinks and we could barely taste the alcohol in any of them. The Passion Fruit Smash with vodka was all right - it's not that sweet. The burrata, I'm not going to lie, had no taste to it whatsoever. It was my first time trying burrata, and for some reason I thought it would at least taste like something. The taste came from mixing it with my Cacio E Pepe meal and the tomatoes/pesto/bread the burrata came with. The Prime Burger and Truffle Fries were delicious. If they can replace the beef patty with the lightly breaded chicken from the Chicken Milanese dish - it would be even better, in my opinion. The Squid Ink Casarecce was good. The cannoli is all right and the sorbet was DELICIOUS. It's pretty large for three scoops, so we ended up sharing it between a few people. I would recommend dining here and I'll be trying their brunch menu one day in the near future! P.S There was valet on a Sunday afternoon, but you just tip them since there was no set price.

We loved dinner! Four of us went out and decided to share everything we ordered which worked out as it all was delicious. Started with burrata (asked for an extra piece of bread and the offered more pesto) and delicious arugula salad. Arancini was a late add and glad we did as the cheese on the plate added a nice addition to the friend risotto. Coccoli fritto had delicious bread from their pizza dough and squid ink pasta had a great sauce. The flourless chocolate cake was perfect with vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed the cocktails and wine as well. Brussels flash fried and corn was spicy - I would order both again. All in all, we loved it!

The service here is great and you feel welcoming. The restaurant looks clean and organized. There’s not much parking space so you might have to park somewhere else or complimentary valet. I love the modern looks and you can enjoy the street view. The restaurant was packed, so I recommend making a reservation before going. I had high expectations for this place, and it still blew my mind. We had the arrancini as an app, definitely some of the best I’ve had. The cacio e pepe was a perfectly executed classic. We come to Olivia quite often as the food and service are normally spot on, this review is a culmination of our time spent there. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Tampa. I have traveled extensively and this is the closest restaurant in Tampa you will find to European, New York, or, Miami style. They do have a number of parking spots for valet service only, however, this is the norm for New York, Miami, or LA. I like that you may also park your own vehicle which is not the case at all in many places I mentioned. The service has been wonderful and the food is great. Today I had a small issue during my visit and chose to give the manager a call when I returned home, I spoke to Morgan and could not be happier after speaking with her. The atmosphere in Olivia is positive, the sun comes in through the oversized windows and really lights the place up and the staff are nice, friendly, and seem to sincerely want to do well and make your visit a nice one. The food…the Burrata is fantastic, Meatballs are great and the Arancini are exceptional. I think we have ordered most everything on the brunch menu and have not had a bad dish yet. Fresh ingredients, nice people, and a great ambiance. What more can you ask for?

I am a regular at Olivia and I have never been disappointed with either: service and/or meals. During brunch I usually opt in for Chef's daily omelette or Avocado & Salmon Crostinos. So delish! Drinks are also always yummy with a beautiful presentation. My husband was impressed with the meatball sandwich and said he would order it again (he is hard to impress as he is an amazing cook himself). And the ambiance is gorgeous! I would definitely recommend this place for lunch/brunch or dinner!

I had a disappointing experience at this high end Italian restaurant last night. The food was delicious, but the attitude of the receptionists was extremely dismissive and disrespectful. We had a reservation for a table for four at 8:15pm, and when we checked in at 8:17pm, we were told we would be seated shortly. However, we ended up waiting until 8:30pm to be seated, despite there being an empty table behind the receptionists the entire time. When I asked if we could be seated at the empty table, the receptionists claimed it was a table for six people and that we had only been waiting for 10 minutes. Their attitude was terrible and it felt like they were implying that it was our fault that they didn't have a table ready for us because we arrived three minutes late. Overall, the rude and unprofessional behavior of the receptionists really marred our experience at this restaurant. It's a shame, because the food was delicious, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant due to the poor customer service.

So, where do I start? Dinner was an absolute joy! We celebrated the birthday of a dear friend and it couldn't have gone better. Our server, Chris, was knowledgeable, professional, polite, and amicable, overall the whole staff was great. They held the door open for us and gave us some hand sanitizer, we were seated right away and the culinary festivities began. The entrees were delicious, we had the goat cheese, truffle fries, and a seasonal fried dough with prosciutto, this last one had some fig butter and made it my wife's favorite. We had the mini rigatoni, the carbonara, the chicken milanese, and a delicious looking seafood pasta. All the dishes were enjoyable, but the sides made everything so much better. We had brussels sprouts and a decadent mac and cheese, this last one was excellent. Our drinks were very good as well, the beer selection was enough, I enjoyed the vanilla porter and the orange wheat. We also had a red wine, Bonanza, it was quite enjoyable, sweet enough, and at a good price point. And for dessert, an apple pie, nice way to end the night. So, in the end, the whole experience was fantastic, definitely an experience to remember and relive!

We were sandwiched in between 2 other party of 2 tables and could hear both conversations, so likely they could hear ours. Was looking forward to a romantic evening out with my husband, but didn't enjoy the noisy distracting atmosphere. The staff was friendly but the service was slow. Parking wasn't easy.

To end this incredible meal with dessert, the Chef inspired Canoli for the evening was, what seemed and tasted like a whipped Caramel, a perfect balance of sweetness with a crunch, exquisite! Beautiful restaurant, the staff were so fast and all kind. Our waitress recommended the Coccoli Frito as an appetizer and we probably never would’ve ordered it, and it was one of the best things we’ve had. For sure will go back :)

A must try!!!! My son insisted we try this restaurant when visiting Tampa and I said ok another Italian, I like Italian. This is a TRUE Italian Restaurant that you must try. My daughter went to Italy and said the Cacio E Pepe Pasta tasted just like what she had in Italy. My son loved the Mini Rigatoni. I had the Breaded Chicken Breast with a side of Pomodoro Sauce for dipping with Fettuccini Alfredo. The Pomodoro Sause was the BEST homemade sauce I have ever had. I want more!! My husband also loved the Meatballs. Everything is made onsite daily including the sauces and pastas. You can see them in the room making the homemade pasta. If you go... you must order the Garlic Bread. It is the BEST Garlic Break I have ever had, extremely fresh and made with all homemade ingredients. LOL.. no one was talking because we couldn't stop eating and making yummy noises. Started to laugh about it. That's how good it was. The atmosphere was very comfortable and fun. Our server (I believe) Zack was so kind and very informative. Thank you Zack for a great evening, even though the terminals were out and you had to do everything by hand you rocked it with kindness and patience. A true professional. I adore this restaurant in every way. Can you please open a restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens or ship me some sauce, pasta and garlic bread. Also, can you switch to the Open Table Reservation System, I hate supporting Yelp -- they move many customers reviews to hidden unrecommended reviews in small grey lettering under reviews if it's their first time reviewing an establishment in Yelp because the Yelp format only uses algorithms and they don't care about the hundreds of fake reviews a competitor may submit only selling their platform, ultimately hurting many small businesses. I only trust Google or Trip Advisor reviews. :) :)

If you've been to On Swann you know you're in for a great dining experience. I've been to this location when it was a Caramel Cafe and what an amazing redesign of the outside and inside. There's so much natural lighting with all the floor to ceiling windows on 3 of the 4 sides. The removed the old ceiling and opened it up to make it bigger and taller. For being open officially for only a week and a half, the service was fast and great. I recommend all the items in the photos I uploaded. This place is probably our current favorite "Italian with a modern twist" restaurant.

Portion sizes were small. The bone marrow ravioli had about 10 mini ravioli. Just wasn't impressed after all the hype.

Love Olivia! From the time we walked in til the time we left, the service was outstanding. Modern industrial decor. We had meatballs and arancini (fried rice balls) for appetizers, Gnudi with shrimp for an entree and Brussels sprouts for a side. All were spectacular. We enjoyed the Apple dessert and of course, brought home a couple of cannolis. I cannot give enough praise to this restaurant. Their food was outstanding!

My GF has celiac disease and we found this gem because of its extensive gluten free menu. We ordered entirely off the gf menu so we could share … appetizer, two pasta dishes and flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was outstanding including the cocktails. To start this review off, make sure you have a reservation. You’d think the way the caddy hostesses were that it was an establishment that was “reservations only”. It was a Tuesday evening at 5:30 and we had a party of 3. Nothing crazy, but the hostess asked us 3 different times clarifying that we did NOT have a reservation… stating “so you all are expecting to be seated?” What?! I said yes and that if it’s not possible just let us know and we’ll take our business elsewhere. That said, the manager Carmen is super sweet, accommodating and especially easy on the eyes (wink). We ended up waiting in the bar area at one of the little tables, which we ended up spending our evening at, since the young dingbat hostesses we’re taking their jobs so seriously about us not having a reservation. It all worked out even BETTER, in my opinion because we got sat in Amanda’s section and let me say, OMG the food is amazeballz here, but her personality and service was just top-notch. I had been to Olivia’s one other time and I think Amanda truly made this visit for us!! So funny, prompt and ensured we were having a good turn-around from our initial “un-welcome” when we walked in. In typical fashion as my prior visit, I did not get away without a quick exchange with Carmen. He runs a tight show there, but always makes time to say hi to the customers. Fun banter with him, as well (Hi Carmen, you handsome man, you!) Overall, if you’re looking for delicious Italian with unique and tasty drinks in a trendy/classy environment, this is your spot!! Perfection for date night or getting out with friends. Highly recommend going here! I guess just make sure you have a reservation… or be prepared to face multiple teenage Regina George’s at the front who won’t tell you that “you can’t sit with us”, but will most certainly try to make you feel like a peasant and make you wait as if you were. Stay though so you can indulge in the deliciousness that is Olivia and dream of the deliciousness that is the manager, Carmen. Bon appétit!

If I could give Olivia 10 stars I would. Sunday evening my bf, another couple and I dined at Olivia for our first time. Our server was very kind and patient with us as we thoroughly enjoyed our three hour dinner. We started with a meat board, meatballs, mussels and coccoli frito (deep fried bread with whipped cow cheese and fig jam.) Everything was spectacular. The meatballs were so tender. The mussels nice and garlicky and the deep fried bread was a surprise but a fantastic one!! We each got a main course, I chose the scallop risotto and my boyfriend chose the squid ink pasta. Neither of us cleaned our plates- not because we didn’t love it, but because there’s plenty of food! The blackened scallops were a nice touch- they were cooked PERFECTLY. We also ordered the mushroom panzanella which might be my favorite food I have ever eaten. For dessert we got a few things but I really want to note how amazing the cannolis were. The cannoli of the day was salted caramel and I really wish I didn’t have to split it with my friends. The drinks were also incredible- a lovely espresso martini that was just creamy enough as well as the La Rosa, were outstanding. The ambience, the service and the food were all amazing and we cannot wait to go back.

Went to this place on a weeknight since it was new and had looked nice from the outside. They have a few self parking spots but most of the parking here is valet. The ambiance inside is very nice and trendy looking. We started with the lobster crostini appetizer which was amazing. We also got one of the charcuterie plates which was also delicious. They brought out some fresh cheesy flat bread which was so soft, warm, and tasty! For dinner I had the scallops which very nice and cooked well. To finish we had the tiramisu which was an interesting take on the traditional.. it had almost a chocolate crust to it that you had to breakthrough to get to the creme filling. The little chocolate ganache on top was also nice and added some texture to it. Overall very impressed with this restaurant and I'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu! I wish they had more self-parking options though.

Wow! I would just like to say this place was phenomenal! We went for Valentines Day, we were put on a wait list and ended up getting a last minutes reservation! We ordered an appetizer, 2 entries and desert. Every single dish was delicious! The gelato came out a little smaller then expected but we were full from dinner (and still had leftovers) so it turned out for the best. Amazing quality and pricing is appropriate for what you get. Will definitely be a returning customer!

Our family took mom here for her 71st birthday. We arrived a few minutes early so we sat at the bar and had cocktails. They were delicious. Hats off to the Bartender! We then we’re escorted to our table. We ordered several appetizers. The one with perfectly fried dough, fig, prosciutto and whipped creamy cheese was very good. Mom ordered halibut. She was so excited to dive into her meal. Turned out, the halibut was dry. We ordered two pizzas. Some family members said it was great, others meh. I had the bolognese. Spectacular! Now it was birthday time. The waitstaff was aware that we were celebrating our moms special day. After spending close to $700 for the night…We were anticipating a nice complementary piece of cake or something with a candle in it to make mom feel special. I asked the waiter if anything was coming out for her and he said, oh yes. I’m going to get it now. Omg… we were shocked at what he brought. It was a mini cannoli the size of my pinky w/ a candle stuck in the end. I was highly disappointed and embarrassed. I thought it was a joke! Seriously, such a high end place and this was it. If I knew, I would have brought in a birthday cake to make her feel special. Even a mediocre restaurant would have done better…. and the staff would have sang for her too! Shame

After hearing of the Cafe Ponte closing, I was beyond saddened. I travel to Tampa for work more than often and love stopping for a delicious meal. With that said, learning of Olivia's opening, by this same wonderful chef, I had to go! Tonight I was of course more than impressed! What a wonderful selection of cocktails, Italian wines, charcuterie, house made pastas and fresh proteins!!! I was so thrilled to have had such a wonderful meal tonight. The Gnudi was absolutely amazing!! Of course I will not forget mentioning the brussel sprouts!!!! I thought Cafe Ponte landed at number one but these took first for sure! The atmosphere is modern and trendy (earlier dining is a little noisy, so you may want to consider later or during the week) This was my first time and it will not be my last. There were 4 of us and everyone got something different and raved about it. The appetizers were delicious. I had the Wahoo Crudo (see picture) and my mouth fell in love. The flavors are exquisite. Then for my entree I had one of the specials, large shrimp and generous chunks of fresh lobster tossed in freshly made pasta with lemon and capers. It was served with the bowl rimmed with sauteed cherry tomatoes! Everything was a feast for the eyes as well as the pallet. The best meal that I have ever eaten in a restaurant, EVER! Sounds dramatic, I know...but you must experience this for yourself and then you'll take me off your "crazy lady" list Bon Appetit and Kudos to Chef Christopher Pont!

This place was busy and had a great mix of people. Some people were more dressed up, others more casual. The seating was spacious and they had comfortable seating. Having cushioned seating is important for me, as I'm disabled. We were seated in a corner, near the pasta making area. We got to sit on a booth like seat. The drinks were very good. My husband had an Old Fashioned, which I'm normally not a fan of. It was delicious and soooo smooth, amazing! I had the best Lemoncilo. We ordered a bottle of wine, it was great. Our burrata appetizer, which was perfect. We shared a pasta dish, called Gnudi. Literally THE BEST pasta I have ever eaten! The side of Brussel Sprouts and French fries were good as well. We couldn't help but to order dessert to go. The canolli was good, but the chocolate cake thing was heaven! Not only was the food and drinks phenomenal, but so was our service. We highly recommend and will be back.

Wine list was nice a diverse but not overwhelming and their craft cocktails were tasty. I did the bone on veal with the special noodles and it was cooked to perfection. OK... first time and it was AWESOME. Absolutely beautiful layout, expertly decorated, open concept, great people watching! The service from the staff was fantastic... Hostess, Server, Food Runner were all awesome and friendly. The food was excellent. My only criticism is this... I have had carpaccio in tons of restaurants. Yours was good, but the original style recipe is better. The seasoning while tasty, overtook the flavor of the meat. The fried bread appetizer was the best thing on the menu. We had Chicken Milanese (good), Truffle Mac n Cheese (excellent), Shrimp and Scallop Risotto (good). Great experience and look forward to our next trip!

This is officially now one of my favorite restaurants. A friend recommended Olivia to me after our other dinner plans fell through for an early Valentine’s Day celebration. They were able to accommodate us the same day for dinner. All staff were so friendly from the hostess, to our server, to the busboy. The food was absolutely amazing and by far the best Italian I’ve had in a long time. The ambiance was great too. All in all, no complaints here!

Amazing atmosphere and the staff was friendly and tentative. The food was well portioned and delicious with several unique dishes and good selection of drinks. Great for dates, graduation, anniversarys, and special occasions. Not really a place to come on a budget but it was reasonable and the gratitude is included in the bill so very fair and easy to pay. The parking is very limited and has a valet service but if you want to park on your own be prepared to wait or walk across the street to the open lot parking which is not the nicest. Overall my experience was amazing and would love to come back for special occasions.

Always a great meal at Olivia! I treated a friend for her birthday and we both enjoyed our meals. We were there a half hour before dinner service and ordered from the lunch menu. Our server, Rory, was excellent and very attentive. The portion sizes were perfect! I ordered cacio e pepe (spaghetti with black pepper) and added one meatball. It was delish...and just right w/the added protein. My friend had the chicken Milanese and was very happy with her selection. For birthdays, Olivia provides the cutest cannoli presentation (see pic)! I highly recommend Olivia ... and that you make reservations -- especially on the weekends.

My wife and I went to OLIVIA for a late lunch (mud lunch as they call it). It was good, hence the 5 stars. We started with the burrata, a glass of moscato for my wife and a Tuscany red blend for me. My wife ended up ordering the Calabrian chicken and I got the burger. The food was great; my burger was great, although I regretted ordered the burger over other choices.

Restaurant is VERY nice inside, clean, and decorated very nicely. Service and staff are all incredibly kind and attentive. We felt like VIP guests. Only negative was the food, we were really not impressed with the food especially for the amount we paid. I had the risotto my husband is vegan and he had some pasta with red sauce. We had truffle fries for appetizer and one glass of wine each ($12 a glass) and it came to $86 for the total before tip. Definitely expected much larger portions and better taste in the food for the overall cost. I don’t think we would be back again unless someone else invited us and that was their choice. I do love that they had some vegan options or a vegan menu upon request. I’d like to see more vegan options in the appetizer/dessert portion but it was nice having something for my husband.

Excellent wine choices and the service was wonderful! The food was heavy, which one would expect, but extremely fresh. Pricing can be compared to Northeast standards (e.g. NYC, North Jersey, Greenwich) but worth it on at least a monthly basis. The area is lovely too. Made the stop because it had multiple options for Barolo wine; tough to pin down in central Florida.

Casual upscale dinning. Staff/servers were very well trained, pleasant, attentive, and eager to please. The food was served hot, and with good presentation. The taste was excellent. The crowd is typically young to middle aged. The atmosphere is a bit chatty/noisy, which made it a bit difficult to carry on a conversation, but manageable. The restaurant was clean, with a woodsy atmosphere. Most people come here for drinks and to nibble on small dishes, but the entrees should not be overlooked. The time for the dishes and between courses was a little longer than I would have liked, but to be fair to them, the place was packed. The salads were fresh, with a good variety of vegetables. Note, some of the dishes have chilis/hot peppers in them which bothered my wife, but I found them ok. Recommend you check with the waiter. The pasta is made fresh to order. You can see your pasta being made via a display window in the dining room. The shrimp and scallops over risotto dish was excellent. The shrimp was snappy and the scallops firm (both signs of freshness, and not being over-cooked). The risotto was creamy. The pasta in squid ink sauce was good, although it could have a little bit more intense ink flavor if the sauce was on top of the pasta instead in it. But most restaurants prepare this dish with the ink in the pasta. They have a chocolate desert which is excellent, not too sweet, and paired well with my cappuccino. My wife said it was one of the best deserts she'd ever had. Overall, a very nice dining experience.

Had a reservation but two parties were able to be seated before us. It seemed like the other parties knew the staff personally and were able to be seated as soon as they came in and we had to wait. 4. Waited a while for our server to come to the table. At first our main server came didn’t tell us her name just welcomed us to the restaurant filled our glass with water not even filling mine all the way up and quickly left without saying anything else. After a couple of more minutes and an attempt to reach our waiter her assistant came introduced herself and we were able to get our drink orders in and entrees 5. Food came out surprisingly fast, it was warm and beautifully presented. The portions were on the smaller size so be aware. The pasta that my boyfriend ordered was too al dente my dish had some great elements but some aspects were bland. Dessert was good but also bland Overall the service, food, and overall ambiance of this restaurant was lackluster for the price point. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Been here twice and both were great experiences. Best restaurant I have tried in Tampa so far. A "Arthur M" wrote in the google reviews that there's only valet parking at Olivia; that's not true. Both of the times we were at Olivia, we parked our car ourselves without any problems at all. The waitress Camilla is very nice and we can defintely recommend her! Food is simple, great and tasty. I like the concept and the not open space. It can be a little loud sometimes, but you do not have to sit close to others as in other restaurants where they squeeze you together. Only minus was the second time we went to the restaurant. We arrived 1 minute late and even then our table was not ready, we had to wait 6 minutes in the car before the table was ready. It's nothing big, but when you order a table for a certain time, you expect the table to be ready for you and not to wait outside. You might want to bring warmer clothing during winter.

Out of all the apps, the best one is the truffle fries - Likely the only reason I’d go back. Tough to find parking (forced to valet), expensive small meals with decent flavors, but nothing worth the price. My boyfriend’s steak was cooked perfectly and he really enjoyed his meal, but said he’d likely not pay that price for it again. My sea bass was very very thin for sea bass, but the flavor was good. For the price and flavors, I’d go elsewhere. Tampa has a lot of great restaurants.

Our party ordered the chicken and waffle and mushroom avocado toast. The chicken was over fried and greasy. Not like typical fried chicken which is why I deducted 1 star. The waffle was delicious especially with the accompanying aioli sauce and maple syrup. We enjoyed the mimosas with pineapple and orange juice brought to the table so we can mix ourselves. I always appreciate when a restaurant lets you mix your own mimosa since I do not like mine to be too juice heavy. Our waitress was really great at giving us tips on what to get and answered our questions really well.

I loved my visit here. Food is really good and authentic to food we had in Italy. Staff is wonderful. Didn't like the valet service. We waited 5 min. to drop off the car, waited 10 mins for the car to be delivered to us when we could literally see it. Asked for our keys actually and was told to be patient. Attitude from the staff. A service should be a service not a negative. it was just one aspect though and we loved the actual restaurant.

This is a beautiful restaurant with fantastic service. They constantly refill waters and clear dirty plates from the table. They do things I haven't seen since prior to Covid, including clean the crumbs off the table and replace used silverware. The servers are friendly and the food is amazing. Really well done!

My husband and I ate here tonight, we had Danny as our waiter. Service was amazing. Appetizers were phenomenal. The roasted oysters I would highly recommend. My husbands steak came out and wasn’t cooked to the correct temperature. He sent it back and it was a little bland and the manager came over and went above and beyond to make sure he ordered something else he enjoyed because if not he would have just ate it. They actually care to ensure the customer is satisfied. Everything we ordered was amazing from the drinks to the food and the desert. Customer service overall went above and beyond and we were very impressed at the overall experience. The atmosphere is enjoyable as well. If your looking for a nice place to eat this is definitely it.

This was the best dining experience in a long time! My boyfriend and I went to Olivia to celebrate the New Year. We received AMAZING service from the time we stepped out of the car until we left our table. We ordered meatballs as our appetizer which were really good. We were joking with our waitress on how fast they came out and she modestly said its a dish that is done before dinner starts so that's why it was quick. We noticed that the table next to us that ordered many appetizers (not just meatballs) got theirs fairly quick too. Our entrees were great and came about 5-10 mins after the apps. He had the shrimp and scallop risotto (still jealous he keeps picking the best dishes haha) and I had pasta cacio e pepe both really great choices. We also stayed for desert a rarity for us but I am so glad we did. We had the apple cake and I have not stopped thinking of going back since haha. The manager also walked around to every table asking about the service and our night he was really personable and you can tell he really cared. Please go experience Olivia for yourselves you'll love it!

You should ignore any review under 5 stars. They all nitpick silly things and it needs to be said... ....without question, this is 5 star food. This is one of the best restaurants in Tampa and it's worth experiencing. The ambiance, beautiful decor, flavors, plating, freshness.... it's all there. This is not a pretentious restaurant where you will pay at least $50-$200 for a meal but IT IS A VERY GOOD RESTAURANT and certainly belongs on any top 10 list for Tampa. It's very fairly priced, well prepared, fresh, and tasty. If you're a local, give it a try. If you're not, give it a try. Just give it a try.

I really commend the service, kitchen, and management at Olivia. I had a small issue with my main and it was handled perfectly. Service was attentive and upscale without an uptight feeling. We dined at Olivia in January and had an incident with the Valet services with my friend's vehicle. I understand mistakes happen, it was definitely something that shouldn't have happened, but the manager went above and beyond to assist and mediate a situation that was completely out of his responsibility to ensure we left with the same feeling as how great our dining experience was. Great food and service. Chose Olivia months in advance for a rather big birthday. Family from all over came in. Service was prompt and friendly, explanations detailed and server very knowledgeable and excited about the menu. Food all arrived in a timely manner and at the proper stages of the dining experience. Only docking a star because my squid ink pasta birthday dinner disappeared when a random employee came over (hadn’t been to our table before) and asked if we wanted boxes. I said yes, but the food never made it back to me. I had less than half left, but I’m still trying to get over it. It was delicious, we had just ordered so many small plates and were planning on dessert so I was stuffed. I tried explaining to our server what happened but when he gave me that “oh yeah, that’s probably gone” look, I decided not to push the issue. Will still probably be back at some point for date night or to share with out-of-towners.

OLIVIA is as close to authentic New York Italian cuisine and definitely worth whatever wait it takes to get a reservation. The garlic bread appetizer is probably the best bread I have ever had. Ever. Full stop. I had the squid ink pasta. Once you get past the color, the taste of the pasta is absolutely sublime. We also ordered the mini rigatoni and the pasta carbonera. Personal preference would have had the Carbonera slightly less al dente, but both dishes were wonderful and recommended. The olive oil cake was supremely moist and flavorful and a perfect end to the meal. The service was friendly but not intrusive. OLIVIA is absolutely excellent.

I enjoyed Olivia but there's a lot of hype. Our entrees were great. We had a margherita pizza and the rigatoni bolognese. The bolognese sauce was delicious. Pizza was cooked in a wood fire or coal fire oven. The one thing I felt fell flat was the charcuterie board. Very weak showing there. Overall we had a great time and will visit again.

The acoustics in the building are not great so it is a pretty noisy experience but the food blew us away! I chose the chefs special (short ribs) & my wife had the squid ink pasta. I would have given 5 stars for the food. Between the four of us, we ordered over 20 items, appetizers, entrees, side dishes, wine, coffee and dessert. Everything tasted great. Presentation was exceptional. They matched all the hype and buzz. But the server was what resulted them only 4 stars. He started splashing water on me when he poured water. When he poured our wine, he started from outside the glass. That’s not what I expected from a 5 star restaurant. It was my birthday. On the check, he put in a courtesy cannoli. But I only got a tiny biscotti. It was free, but I still felt short changed. Oh, well, I enjoyed the food, and my company.

Last night we visited Olivia for the first time and the food was incredible as well as the service! Our server Chris was truly the best and so helpful with everything! I’m a vegetarian and he told me how he could substitute many different things on the menu to make it vegetarian. We ate here with our family and 2-year-old on a Monday night. The restaurant was not crowded and the hostess was kind and we were seated immediately. The ambiance was stunning. Even the bathroom finishes / candle were well done. The waitress was spectacular. She brought out a water cup for our son immediately and breadsticks for him right away. We ordered a kids pep pizza to keep him busy before we ordered. It came out as a cheese pizza. We didn’t mind, but our server insisted on bringing out a pep pizza and boxing the cheese for us to take home with us. She made sure our waters and wine stayed full all night. Service was perfect. But, y’all. The food was even better! So delicious. We all ordered something different and everything was the best! Extremely unique flavors and perfect in every way. Will definitely be back.

I heard so much hype over this restaurant online so decided to try it! - you must make a reservation on the weekends. I was pretty disappointed- as an Italian I appreciate homemade pasta. Their pasta was thick and blah tasting! I was shocked by this and had to ask for more cheese just to give it some flavor. I also ordered the pizza with bacon on it (sounds yummy) and wish the bacon wash chopped and dispersed evenly across the pizza rather then full strips. Overall I was pretty disappointed with the food for the price. It is a trendy restaurant with a cute vibe but be prepared to spend at least $150 for 2 people to eat.

We are/were big fans of Cafe Ponte (same owner) in St. Pete before it closed unfortunately - Olivia did not disappoint. Shout out to CAMILLA our waitress was outstanding - probably some of the best service I’ve received at a restaurant in Tampa Bay. She sent over TYLER the wine sommelier to help us pick a wine. He was super helpful and gave us a great recommendation of an Italian wine - we drink more California wines but the Italian Sangiovese he picked for us was fantastic! We ordered the arancini (a must) and then my husband had the Squid Ink Cascarecce and I ordered the Cacio e Pepe, and we split some Brussel sprouts. All of it was so delicious! I love a restaurant with great lighting and atmosphere too - heightened experience without being stuffy - this checked all the boxes - you must go!

Another south Tampa hit. Select menu, full bar. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Atmosphere was light and airy. Menu was upscale Italian. I had a filet nicely done with a very tasty crust. Make reservations and bring your wallet, but well worth it.

My husband and I have probably eaten at every Tampa restaurant throughout the years and this is our favorite one. Just consistently delicious food at good prices in an intimate, yet fun setting. Steak is delicious, so are the oysters, and literally any pasta dish. Just make the reservation and go!

Absolutely phenomenal, the appetizers we had was so good. I judge places a lot about how good their bread is and it was not what I was expecting and I was so happy how it comes. The pasta is fresh and the flavor was so deep and rich. I strongly believe this is easily top 3 Italian restaurants in all of Hillsborough. The interior design is very modern and clean, great atmosphere. Best part is everything is not expensive, it’s actually on the cheaper side. This is a place you can come often and not break the bank

Great experience! I met a friend at the bar for a business meeting. Our bartender Paschia was friendly and attentive without hovering. He made great recommendations for food and wine. The aracini appetizer and the burrata with tomato and pesto was fabulous! The tiramisu to die for. The restaurant was bright and open and lively. I know where I'll be having my business meetings from now on. And thanks again to the bartender for such great service!

What a fantastic experience! We tried Olivia for the first time to celebrate a birthday and our server Rachel was great. Olivia even had a happy birthday placard set up on the table when we arrived, very thoughtful! Rachel provided wine recommendations and attentive service. All of the food we had was outstanding - try the squid ink pasta!!! We got to watch Chef Ponte make pasta by hand through the glass windows and Rachel explained the items as they were making them. We will be back, can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

This is a wonderful dining option. The wait was next to nothing (at 5:30pm), the wait staff are pleasant, attentive and polite. The food was really good and worth the prices. The decor and atmosphere is modern chic and appreciated. The only gripe with Olivia’s is the amount of noise. The space is not built for noise reduction at all so if you’re hard of hearing or have a low voice, this can be tricky for you to have conversations. Perfect for date nights as well.

This is very nice restaurant. It’s not an upscale restaurant but it has a very good vibe. The food is good as well as the prices (inexpensive). The quality of the food was good, service was good. They have a gluten free menu if you have allergies. In my opinion, they really didn’t have signature items they make the menu pop. Overall, it’s a nice place to eat and have a good time. I gave it a 5 star because it was a enjoyable evening.

The service is unmatched, the food is authentic and flavorful, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date night, girl's night, or even just taking someone out as a "thank you" dinner. I feel the pricing is fair for a scratch-made kitchen and I will always return to Olivia. Especially during these unprecedented times, I am so happy they are still open and pumping out great food. Best Grand Opening experience I have ever had. Food was spot on and amazing! Chicken Milanese was perfectly pan seared and crispy. Mini rigatoni with bolognese sauce was perfectly seasoned and extremely filling. Our waitress knew details of every item on the menu. Several people checked in with us multiple times throughout the dinner and we were never rushed. Excellent customer service, every one was in sync, and we had a seamless, 5-star experience.

Bravo!!! We began with the charcuterie board and the Cusamano Nero D'Avola ( I recommend the pairing). This was a perfect beginning. There are so many items of interest on the menu that you can't just come here once. After the charcuterie board, we ordered two pizzas, ( the sausage with pesto and the mushroom with fontina cheese). The quality of the dough and the toppings reminded me of a place in Palermo that I visited a few years ago. Excellent! The icing on the cake is Kathleen. It's one thing to be a knowledgeable server. It's another to be friendly and personable. It is a rare thing to be both. Kathleen, our server this evening, was just that. If you visit Olivia, and you are lucky enough to get Kathleen as your server, your evening will be a bona fide success.

First, in my experience you need to make a reservation. Second, get the pasta.. they make their own pasta which is really good, like a great restaurant in Rome Italy. Third, great wine, beer, or full bar. Atmosphere is open and rich, but a bit loud as it gets busy. Staff is friendly and waiters helpful and well educated on the menu.

As somebody who has lived in some premium markets for food (San Francisco, Austin, Seattle) this place is no slouch. Their appetizers are fantastic and their entrees are 5 stars as well. The bolognese is up there with several renowned Italian restaurants that I've been to. The negative reviews I've read are laughable.

The only negative aspect of this restaurant was the noise. I could not even hear the people sitting directly across from me because of the echo of everyone else’s conversations. Other than that, I highly recommend trying it out for yourself!!

The restaurant was beautiful, the wine selection was great, the burrata appetizer was amazing, the service was wonderful. The pasta was a huge disappointment. Overcooked to the point of being mushy and the sauce was mediocre at best. I expected a nice al dente homemade pasta and this was almost inedible. I will try again next weekend and see if other entrees and pizzas are better.

This Tampa gem is a must visit place. Owned by a great, humble Tampa Chef Chris Ponte this Beautiful restaurant speaks to his taste and vision. It a NYC/English style decor. Dark Mahagony wood, white walls. Marble slabs, leather bar. Had an excellent brunch with wife. Food was great!
