Fantastic little hidden piece of paradise located in a very busy area of Tampa! Driving by here you would not expect to see such a beautiful patio area that is dog friendly and set up perfectly for live music as the sun sets behind the building. The Cuban sandwich is superb with the perfectly salted fries. The craft beer selection is vast as there is something for everyone! Prices are extremely reasonable and the service is friendly and fast! Definitely worth the stop in as you won't be disappointed!

What a breath of fresh air….This restaurant and venue hold no apologies. Finally a location that doesn’t cater to the typical polo wearing, penny loafer 50210 crowd. The food is good, beer is cold and music is amazing. Love the video games and pinball in the back corner of the restaurant. The music hall is great. Lots of room to see live performances. Definitely an intimate location when you can almost touch the stage acts. Nothing better than an up and close performance. Awesome Awesome and more Awesome.

So cute. Love this venue just a little north of the Seminole Heights area. Great beer selection and great service. Love the vibe of this very cool place hidden off Busch Boulevard. Did not eat, but we saw the food and it looked very appealing! I'd say if you live in this area, just go! You will not be disappointed.

Walked in Saturday October 15, 2022 around 12:15 PM and sat at the bar. Saw a large group outside that seemed to be all together eating and drinking. The pulled pork sandwich was made with large pieces of pork. Nicely prepared, perfectly flavored. Good service from friendly staff.

We're visiting my sister and she is a regular at this place! First of all the atmosphere is amazing. It is set up so nice! The selection of beers are almost limitless. 👌 and she said out of everything thing you need to try the chicken sandwich. And it did not disappoint! It is great! This will definitely be a stop every time we're here.

First time here visiting Florida from Ohio. The waiter Christian was SO FRIENDLY, he truly made our visit feel welcoming and we hope next time we can come to Florida that he’s here. Nice atmosphere in the outside beer garden with our dog Booger :)

Stopped by for a drink after a hard day with a friend and the customer service went beyond my expectations. We were immediately greeted at the bar by Chris and picked our own table in which we were served by Tim. He was exceptional. Constantly checked in on us. Even had us sample a new beer (which we later needed up ordering because it was so great) that had just been put on tap. He genuinely was considerate of us and what we needed throughout the night. The pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal and I even ended up ordering food to go for my partner at home because of how much I loved the food that was served to us. I would highly suggest this place to anyone looking for good vibes and a solid beer selection (there is also a full bar as far as I could tell). The live music also added to the great atmosphere which, in turn, made a hard day a little bit better for a couple people just looking to relax for a little while. Thank you New World, you have definitely gained returning customers who are appreciative of everything you’ve offered!

Probably the most easy going bar in Tampa. Big outdoor space, great parking, live music. The staff is friendly. Haven't eaten here yet, but a 10/10 bar.

It takes careful hiring to combine such atmosphere and bold flavors with the provided crew. Even with a mistaken beer order, the experience is fantastic. The staff is incredibly attentive and aware. You’ll come for the beer, and leave with some of the best pizza and wings you’ve ever had.

Awesome little spot that I’m so glad we found. The atmosphere is so chill and the service was great. Outside and inside this place is so cool. The food is also very, very good and I HIGHLY recommend the patty melt. It’s unlike any you’ve ever had. We will certainly be back.

If I lived in the area this would be a weekly experience for me. New world has a very laid back welcoming vibe from the jump, excellent service, and a great selection of local alcohol topped only by having some de-lici-ous menu options I truely didn't expect top notch quality and fresh ingredients. Comparatively It's like I went for a chili's and got a bonefish grill priced like a chili's.

We were on a business trip for the local RV Supershow for the weekend. Initially my wife and I stopped in to pick up food the first night. It was tremendous. So we talked our crew into going two nights later. Not only were we treated like kings and remembered by name. The entire staff were so down to earth and genuine. Comic book nerds, music fans and just good freaking people. They gave us some of the best service I’ve ever had and were so humble and funny and honestly made us feel welcome immediately. The drinks and food were top notch and we even went back the next night after that too. I haven’t been that well taken care of at a restaurant, or a bar- or, well- anywhere in YEARS. If I could give 20 stars I’d give them 100. No questions asked. If you guys are reading this. ITS MJ AND CREW CREW. You guys will see us EVERY TIME we are in Tampa. Mark my words.

What a find. this place is an oasis paradise with great food, awesome atmosphere, killer beer selection, amazing decor and friendly staff. will def be going back. Gonna be a ritual after Bush gardens. Sooo glad my wife noticed the sign from the road. Do not sleep on this place.

Great varieties and selections of beer, good choices of signature drinks, cozy outdoor space to hang with friends and your well behaved dog. I'm VERY we excited about their new line of #GoodBoy & #GoodGirl non alcoholic "beer" made FOR dogs! Food choices are limited but that's ok because it's made up for by their freshness and tasty food. Only disappointment is that there aren't options for vegetarians except a grilled cheese (by the way it was delicious and WILL order it AGAIN) and choose your own ingredients pizza and no options at all for vegans in the menu other than hummus BUT the salads are delicious so if we (plant based eaters) are not too hungry, there is that option. Gave 3 stars for service just because they were understaffed during my last 2 visits. That single staff did great working inside/outside tables and tending bar but it's kind of a wait because of that; however, if you are chilled and not pressed for time...this is the place to go! It can have a calming atmosphere and the live music is always fun

Great pizza, beer, cocktails, and reasonable prices. The servers were over to check on use at least every 10 minutes and ended up being a great lunch with friends with a fun artsy environment. Really a hidden gem off of Nebraska.

Soooo gooood this place is a gem. Masks are required before entering. Indoor and outdoor tables. The food is delicious, not overcooked, not raw, well balanced some amazing combinations. It is a brewery were the Pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers have an important role when it comes to have a good time! The service is the best, very kind always making sure everything is great. Clean restrooms and nothing to complain about. Can't wait to come back Thank you!

To be honest, I found this place while sitting at a light on Busch. I saw the umbrellas and thought "what is that place?" After a little search, decided to head there for lunch, with the dog in tow! There is a beautiful outdoor space, where they have live music, and that my dog loved to explore! They provide water for the pup too! The food was fantastic and filling and the selection of beer was great! Definitely want to go back and try more of their offerings!

Great local place with good food, an excellent beer selection and a full liquor bar. Some of the best Covid protection measures of any establishment I have visited. Fantastic outdoor courtyard with tables spaced appropriately apart. Live music on weekends both inside and out. Family and dog friendly. You really can't ask for much more.

Our favorite favorite favorite place in Tampa. Love the pizza, love the bbq, love the beer, love the music. Smart precautions throughout Covid. Spacious beautiful courtyard/biergarten - the best in town. If you visit from out of town, this is where we are taking you. Ownership has done an amazing job transforming this location into a little sliver of paradise and we hope it stays here forever.

Came in for lunch on a Sunday and was hoping to find a table in the sun. There was nobody else on the patio, so we moved a table 3 feet so everyone at the table could stay warm. Bartender came out and was a huge tool about it.

Atmosphere both inside and out! It's such a unique and fun place to socialize with friends! The staff, Christian, are amazing and very friendly and sociable. Instantly felt welcomed but it did help that my party was the only group there at the time! I got some wings and ribs to go! Wings were superb if you like crispy flavorful wings. No sauce needed. Ribs were good but just a bit too dry cooked (still moist on the inside-just very dry outside). Still delicious and would totally recommend both to people.

While this is decidedly NOT a brewery, it was a cool location and had some good beers on their 5 dollar happy hour menu. We got a to-go pizza and that was also really very good. The only thing I'll say is if you search for this place on Uber, it will take them to a location near Ybor city. Weird!

Omg, my humans can’t resist taking me to New World every chance they get! They always order a cheese pizza, extra crispy, which smells amazing but there’s never any left for me. They say the thin and crispy crust is what makes it sooooo tasty. Today, our server Christian went the extra mile and brought me TREATS! And when I say treats, I mean smoked chicken and homemade doggie biscuits. Everything was so good! We’ll be back tomorrow. :) ~Tala the Aussie

Cool bar that thankfully moved from Ybor with all of it's unique decor. Y'all know what a brewery is, and although this place has a good selection of craft beer, this place is not a brewery. Nice food menu & liquor bar (no foo foo drinks, lol). I enjoyed their jerk rubbed hickory smoked wings. While it's not a brewery, it is a venue with a nice vibe with cool seating areas throughout and live music on weekends. Definitely worth visiting. Cheers!

As a first time patron on a Saturday night we thought we made a mistake upon being wrist-banded and ushered into a music hall after hoping for a quieter outdoor experience. Unbeknownst to us we were on the wrong side of the establishment. The manager refunded us our monies and directed us to the beer garden adjacent to the building. The beer garden is quaint, decorated and lit. Very much gardenesque. The musician on stage outside was very entertaining while the pizza and beer was phenomenal. My husband and I both mentioned that the pizza is some of the best we’ve had in Florida and I’ve been here for almost 7 years now and he’s from the area. Wonderful selection of beers. The owner was very sweet and accommodating. Thank you for a review worthy first time experience. We have committed to adding beer and pizza to our rotation of date nights.

Fantastic! Just as good as it was back in the day in Ybor! I rolled up to the place and there was the old New World sign in its resplendent glory. The Marlin is back too! They had many great beers on tap, including my beloved Coppertail coffee porter. Pizza was great too. I had a vegetarian one with feta, roasted red peppers (tasted housemade to me vs. from a jar!), olive oil and capers that was delicious and big enough for at least 2 people to split. Service was great! We went on a night with a DJ spinning Bauhaus and The Cramps, great time had by me and my good buddy. Beautiful courtyard and outdoor seating. It was perfect weather out at night with no skeeters out for blood, nice to watch the moon and stars above. Wonderful night and thankful they reopened! I will be coming back again and again!

Why have I only just discovered this place. I've lived here for 30 years. Great craft beer selection. Some food and snacks available. Friendly staff. An atmosphere conducive to good times. The woman singer in the two-piece band was really, really good. The music in general, live and recorded, was excellent. This could be my new favorite place. The clientele seemed to be a mix of younger and older - skewing a little older earlier in the evening (probably accounting for the good music) and a little younger as the evening wore on. As good as this place is, it isn't perfect. The snacks don't include pretzels, which is a definite con for me. There are few things I enjoy more than a good beer and a warm pretzel. While I didn't actually have the pizza, I consider myself an expert on the subject (I'm a legend in my own mind), and based on appearances only, it looks only fair. Take that for what it's worth. The physical venue is less stellar. While clean, it looks and feels rather old and creaky - but comfortable. The surrounding area is not the best. Overall, Iove the place and will definitely be back - probably often.

Ok Listen, FYI this place is NOT a brewery. It is a tap house. They do have a great selection of beers and their kitchen is pretty good. The Cuban Aus Jus I had was quite tasty. HOWEVER, the whole time I am eating and enjoying my delicious beer from Angry Chair I am fighting with mosquitoes under the table. For whatever reason, this place leaves the AC blasting and the doors open, which not only let's all that wonderful AC escape, but let's a lot of what I like to call "Flying A Holes" in the door. If they would close the doors and allow the outside to be outside and the inside to be inside, I would've thrown an extra Star, maybe even 2.

Can't wait to go back! The ambience of this place was so beautiful and welcoming. The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind. I had a Scottish lavender ale that was out of this world from motorworks brewing in Bradenton. They had a great selection of local and craft breweries in general.

Listen, it'll never have the same vibe as the converted Ybor City garage where it held sway for more than two decades. But the crew is the same, beer selection is vast, and the food is impeccable, from top-notch smoked meats to arguably the best thin crust pizza in Tampa. And the new space is gorgeous, with plenty of outdoor room to socially distance. Do yourself a favor and go the couple of extra miles to swing by.

Even though "brewery" is a bit of a misnomer, they don't brew any beer anymore, we thoroughly enjoyed the place. The beer selection was very good, with a large variety of craft beers, and the cider selection was much better than is normal, for the non-beer fans. The bartenders were all very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the beers they were recommending and serving. The BBQ lunch buffet was also very good, all of the sides were house-made, and the meat smoked out on the patio. Would highly recommend to anyone who is a beer fan, and wants to try something new.

Wife and found this based on the recommendation from a niece. Place was AWESOME! We went on a cool (for FL) Thursday afternoon for lunch and drinks. Had a great couple beers from Coppertail Brewing, plus their signature smokey wings and goat cheese/artichoke dip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Also, Jen (or Jan) was a great server. Friendly and didn't take any BS (I don't call that bad service, I call it personality)......also, they have a BBQ buffet for lunch. We didn't do that, but everyone else there was eating that.

Best brunch on the east coast and possibly the entire U.S. Food is original not the usual dishes you find everywhere. Atmosphere is hip and cool vibe- great service. My wife and I were in the food and wine industry many years and highly recommend it.

They can have all of my stars because the staff here is so legit. The waitresses know the menu backwards and forwards with a clear understanding of beers and their flavor profiles, and they do it without being pretentious. I love our servers, beers, and pizzas here and even when it's busy, I am always served well.

Amazing local bar that was doing great craft beer long before it became a thing. Best jukebox in Tampa, chill decor, great beer selection, and awesome people. The real addition is their BBQ. Reasonably priced buffet ($7.50 /lb) features delicious BBQ favorites: pork and sausage is smoked on site, sides are all winners, and sauces are delicious (I always appreciate it when I can get a good gold BBQ sauce). Highly, highly recommend this spot for a lunch, a concert, or a few beers!

Best Sunday brunch in town!! All you can eat small buffet but just enough to choose from. You can tell the food is made with a love for cooking. The menu is often different but always fabulous. Made to order omelettes. I love sitting in the courtyard with the fountain after going to church at Relevant church in Ybor on a Sunday morning. It makes my day.

My band (COEDS) played here we have a great time. One of the biggest beer selections I've ever seen. Food was top notch. The sound guy was very laid back and on his game. We had some equipment issues on our part and he had a quick solution. I recommend playing, eating and drinking here if you are around the Ybor area.

Not bad. Will keep going back for the craft beer but the food is a hit and miss. The pickle brine chicken sandwich was ok the first time and horrible the next. Even the pickles weren’t pickled. Chicken was dry, it was just and expensive chicken sandwich that was nowhere near as good as ones you can get for half the price at fast food joints.

I enjoyed this bar, the female blonde bartender knew her stuff when I wasn't sure what I wanted. I have my favorites, but when I have chance to try something new and local to the area. It'll bring a smile to any beer drinkers face. I tried the Florida Dive IPA, it was hoppy and smooth going down. Kinda disappointed they didn't have darts though. That would've definitely kept me there longer. However the relaxed vibe and good music made me feel comfortable and wanting to come back.

A lovely little hidden spot in Ybor. It features a beautiful patio, wide beer selection, and killer pizzas! The live music can get a little dicey if you're into mainstream music but don't let that scare ya away.

They have a great lunchtime buffet. I was exploring Ybor City after a class at HCC, and found this place to be the nicest patio seating I have found for a bar, ever. If I lived closer and had money enough to drink out, I'd be there at least once a week. The BBQ lunch buffet has several meats and all the sides, and they price very reasonably by weight. The bar has a huge amount of character, and as a prior pub owner, I'm extremely jealous of the patio seating area. If you find yourself in or driving past Ybor on your lunch break, I recommend checking them out.

A few blocks later I found myself at this exceptional location. Upon entry I knew I found the right place, a bbq lunch buffet AND a massive selection of craft beer! Beer selection was perfect for the weather (lots of sours, wheat beers, sessions, etc.) Chris was a cool guy behind the bar and talked to me about jiu-jitsu when he saw my shirt and even invited me to Ybor City Jiu-Jitsu Club's open mat. So quirky! SO MANY BEERS! Laid back, relaxing, fun. One of my must-stops for Ybor. The bartenders are attentive and know their stuff. EDIT: Sadly, New World has moved away from Ybor. Uncertain exactly when but I think 2018. I haven't yet been to their new location and miss them horribly from Ybor. Thankfully there are still a number of breweries in Ybor.

All the familiar faces and it's as if they transported the Ybor location to Skagway. The ambiance, eclectic decor and unique experience is still intact but even better. The menu has been revamped with fantastic food offerings and now some awesome entrees to compliment their anchor pizza selections of the past. They still maintained the fan favorite pizzas, of course. They still have roughly the same amount of beers( 25) on tap and that great bottle selection but now a full variety of spirits. The concert venue is not ready yet but when it goes live there will be nothing like in this area of Tampa.

I recently visited New World Tampa and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The atmosphere of the place was lively and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delicious pizza. It was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. The beer selection was also quite refreshing and added to the overall dining experience. To top it all off, I was lucky enough to catch live music on a Sunday, which made my visit all the more memorable. In short, I highly recommend New World Tampa to anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience, especially on a Sunday with live music.
