Absolutely loved my arepa! I ordered the pabellon— although I am a more savory than sweet when I’m hungry, the plantains balanced the meat well and wasn’t too sweet! I did have a really long hair in my food but luckily I saw it and pulled it out from there than my mouth.. I understand it happens:)

WOW! I had a Pabellon on Tuesday and have been thinking about it ever since (it’s Friday now). Just walked my happy butt back over there for a second one. Honestly, just go get one. There’s nothing I can say in this review that will do it Justice. Get the garlic sauce!

So good! Everything was delicious. Highly Recommend the chicken salad arepa. Paid parking very close and a few tables and chairs to sit and eat. We ordered online and it was easy to place the order and pick up.

Good arepas! Little pricey but stuffed with lots of meat. Ask for extra sauce you will need it.

That was pretty good. They pack a lot of flavor into these arepas. Got the chicken (6.50) it was very tasty. Didnt see a lunch special, but a 2 arepa and a drink special for lunch would go a long way. * went back and they have a great Value Meal Deal. 2 arepas and a drink for only $12. I got the Avocado Chicken and Black Bean and cheese and they were excellent!

By far the best food truck in Downtown Tampa! I always get the arepas and the rice and beans they are delicious. The food is very flavorful, they have delicious sauces to go along with your meal, and the staff is the best! They have amazing service, always a good attitude, and very patient. Highly recommend!

The food is amazing (coming from a Venezuelan). It truly tastes like home which is rare to find, specially downtown. I ordered the pabellón Arepa, everything tasted great including the sauce. Great staff, fast service and reasonable prices all well 🙌🏻

Moon Frog is great food made by great people. The young couple that owns the truck deliver authentic arepas with delicious flavor combinations. The pabellon and patacon are my go to meals there, and since adding the garlic sauce it has only gotten better. If you're in the area and you haven't tried them, you're missing out.

Food is amazing. My wife and I live in Westchase (25 minutes away) and will drive downtown just to get our Venezuelan food fix. The arepas are some of the best I ever had. I work in the travel industry and have taken the food with me. Microwaved a day later... still just as good, even complimented by coworkers who could smell the food after being reheated. Highly recommend.

Moon Frog Arepas Food Truck came to Varela Westshore on Monday, 2 days ago. I have never tried Venezuelan food. My son and I had the Chicken Mechado and the Avocado Chicken. They were both so..oo yum... I believe the owners, Shane and Yosma attended to me. I was not even expecting a complimentary meal as they were closing up. Thank you both for being so kind and accommodating. We will definitely look out for you the next time you are here. Great customer service!!

Avocado Chicken Arepa was to die for! I so did not want to like it, it sounded like California. I love when one flavor overpowers all the other flavors, but none of the ingredients overpowered the others, perfectly balanced ingredients that just WOWED!!!!

Moon Frog Arepas came to Harbour Island last night and I made sure to try them. I ordered a chicken avocado arepa and a pabellón arepa for my boyfriend. The arepas were delicious and the service was great, very friendly employees. I also ordered a side of fries and these were crispy and well seasoned.

🇻🇪Very glad someone is making arepas in the downtown area. Arepas are almost like a thicc pita pocket made from corn meal and grilled / baked and filled with toppings. Moon Frog has a two arepa lunch special that’ll hit the spot and let you try some different things on the menu. Definitely recommend Pabellon, especially if you’re looking to try a Venezuelan favorite. Tampa has too many taco places, la arepa es superio ✊

My mom and I are both Venezolanis, and we thoroughly enjoyed these arepas. I'd only say to add some Venezuelan soda options like chinotto or frescolita. Will definitely go back
