Reviews of Koizi Endless Hibachi & Sushi Eatery
Robin Ray
Absolutely amazing sushi all you can eat . Had been told how good by a couple of friends. It was awesome. Sean was our waiter Great service. Will definitely be going back and asking for Sean.

Good all you can eat sushi restaurant. You can order as much as you want But, you must finish or receive extra charge. Lunch was around 32$ for 2 people. Service was very good. Lots of choices!

I just have to say this place is AMAZING, not just the food but the waiters, the environment and the place overall is rlly good. I ordered 3 different type of sushi rolls and they were all so good. I recommend the Spicy Krab roll. The sesame balls are also a must try they were delicious.I also tried the habachi chicken steak and shrimp and all of that was sooo good i love habachi but i forgot to take photos haha. Also got to shout out the waiters they are rlly nice and very friendly to you which is another reason why I love this place, although the one thing that I dislike about them is that they take your order rlly fast and leave and sometimes I don’t get to say all I want haha, but I get it they have to go take a lot of peoples orders at the same time and bring them their plates. Other than that I give the place 5/5 stars, will be coming back soon:)

Dancing crab roll is the very best!!
Mexican roll minus the jalapeños is my second fav!!
I love the steak since they changed the quality during COVID, it is much more tender especially at medium rare.
The Tampa location has a different feel from the NPR location, a little more relaxed feeling. However, their service overall at each location is equally the same.

I have come here a couple of times now, and I have enjoyed my experiences thus far. The sushi varieties are superb and always well made, the hibachi choices are good, though I've only had chicken and New York strip (I much prefer the New York strip), and the staff are always friendly. The only thing I haven't liked so far is the miso soup, but that's just me personally. I plan to go here plenty in the future! For prices, they are a little expensive, but well worth it. The lunch price is $12.95 per adult, the dinner is $18.95.

The best value you can possibly get. Why go somewhere else for sushi when lunch here is $15 and dinner is $25 and it’s All you can eat! Everything is made to order and at dinner they have the hibachi tables too, which is included. Thank god it’s far away for me, otherwise I’d be obese from going here every day.

I love this place! The price for all you can eat is very competitive with other sushi places. Even the a la carte prices are good! The staff is very friendly, and the food… the food is spectacular! The sushi is always fresh and my order is always quick and correct. Koizi is one of my fav restaurants, and I can always count on them for a delicious lunch or dinner. Next time I have visitors from Chicago I can’t wait to bring them here!

I've eaten here for over 10 years, and its always been great. Tonight's sushi chef made the best rolls and nigiri I've ever had there. He knew how to highlight the accenting ingredients in a specialty roll with ease, and made well balanced fish rolls that allowed the freshness of the meat shine. He made the best rolls with zero effort, it looked like. Whip whip pow, here you are.
Its always been a 5 star hidden gem, but tonight stood out.

We had a Gender reveal that ended pretty late and we walked in and they seated us right away. Our server was amazing and so nice, we appreciated her service as we didn’t have much time to order because of them closing very soon. We were so hungry and we are so happy and full when it was closing time!
Brandon Beeman
This place is amazing honestly. I take my daughter here every weekend and sometimes twice depending on the week:) we absolutely love it here. She never really liked sushi until eating here. Now that’s all she wants when I ask her.
Angel Rivera
First time here and the price was insane. 19.99 all you can eat. The waitress was the fastest I seen anyone move. Also between orders she was wiping everything down as well
Nicholas Cockerham
My wife and I regular at koizi once-twice a month if not a week sometimes. This sushi buffet establishment is almost always a nice time! They are almost always packed and I think our only issues we’ve ever really had are some of the waiters that work there being a bit odd or inattentive. Short of that the only other thing I’d say I’ve had an issue with this place is their tendency to allow imperfections in appearance or with their menus tend to be kind of shocking for a $20 buffet. The menus are almost always broken or coming apart if it’s been too long since the last time they replaced them. Same thing can go for the seating unfortunately as they will leave seats left exposed or damaged for months at a time. It’s not the first time for either of these issues as this is a normal thing to see at other Koizi restaurants in the Tampa area that we’ve gone through. The koizi role is otherwise the best thing they’ve had and I’m not sure why they keep removing crab Rangoon and replacing them with the fried crab and cream cheese that are horrible if I’m being honest in comparison to a good crab Rangoon. Otherwise we generally have a very good time coming to these establishments. In comparison to other similar restaurants around I’ll say that Saki has a slightly more genuine menu for the price where the quality normally exceeds expectation, hibachi express has a damn good spicy tuna roll, and Ginza was horrible. Pony tail needs to keep his eyes to himself though.
Aprillynn Lloyd
Delicious fresh food. They have fresh buffet that is cooked fresh as you order. And served to you. The only way your going to want to buffet. Great place to eat and enjoy some time with your loved one or family.
LITINREALLIFE
it was ok, the hawaiian 🌺 roll is the bright yellow ones with mango 🥭 it was very sweet.
Kim Merson
Entrees were really delicious... Sushi wasn't our favorite. Maybe the dinner menu sushi choices were more appealing. Definitely worth the lunch price.
Wolferz Ward
Great food reasonably priced and an attentive waitor.
dean delriccio
Great night out. Kids took me to dinner to celebrate my birthday. Server was awesome and attentive and food was amazing as always. Thank you for a great experience
Kristopher Gates
I "want" to give 5 stars but almost by definition this experience can't be perfect or it would be much more expensive.
What you get is an honest presentation of the all-you-care-to-eat experience with good sushi and a couple of tricks to prevent abuse of the system.
I made that sound worse than it is. But the way they handle this is a good time and you will still feel spoiled, even if 'unlimited' must remain a dream. 😋
Carlos Razo (Coach Carlos)
I came down to visit family and I was taken here while we were in Tampa!
This place was popping when we arrived and the ambiance is great. I would say it’s a little too dark to visible see but the unlimited sushi is great. It’s a first for me to have such a selection of sushi for a buffet. They had salmon/tuna/crab. The waitress was efficient and asked regularly when we finished our plate if we needed more.
The restrooms are clean and well designed. They have hibachi that happens right in front of you, so it’s a show to see it from far away from another table. I would recommend to come back again.
I’m from Houston and the visit was good!

Great endless sushi and hibachi . Wait staff wasn't the best but overall it was good . I measure mine by the time my tea glass is empty and I would honestly say a 3 -10 . It was empty more times than full . Good food for the price .
Jonathan Fudge
I absolutely love the idea of endless sushi and hibachi. That said, they have to run a business and in the effort to try and quickly turn tables there are a few things that cause them to lack the 5-star rating I want to give this type of restaurant on principle alone.
Pros:
Service was great!
Speed of food to table was awesome.
I was seated immediately.
I believe the price is reasonable (I think it is $35 for an adult, but could be incorrect there.)
Cons:
Sushi seems to be pre-made and quality suffers
Food is served on styrofoam plates (VERY bad for the environment)
Sushi just doesn't taste up to par with even something like Publix sushi
There is a threat of charging you for every unfinished piece of food
The last con I do understand. Some people were ordering everything and wasting. However, I think a charge for "every piece beyond a single complete helping" or something similar might be okay.
That said, I left 6 pieces of a tuna roll and was not charged. So, I am very happy for that. They seem to have some discretion. So, that is good.
Overall, it is a cheap way to take a friend's out to have a ton of mediocre Sushi.
It is NOT where I would take a date. It is NOT where I would take someone expecting top of the line quality.
I always seem to regret when I go as I overstuffed myself, but I still find myself going every year or so. Here is to hoping it only gets better and better. 🙏🙏🙏
D Cajuste
This place is honestly a hit or miss for that I’m giving 3 stars. Seems to be better on busy nights/days because the food is a lot fresher. If you come in on a Monday for example your experience will not be the best…
Yasmin Licha
We found this place and we were skeptical about the all you can eat, as we don’t like buffets. This place is a gem. The food is delicious, everything is fresh and is prepared for you as you order it. You can have anything from the menu, as much as you want for an affordable price. And the service was excellent, Jessica was super friendly! Definitely going back.
shechem Durden
As a foodie I give nothing but the most taste bud accurate reviews
This food is mouth watering delicious from the chicken and scrimp hibachi to the delicious perfectly cook spring rolls.
I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a delicious hibachi experience
Joe jk
Been doing Koizi for a while now. Always treated well with a warm welcome. And for first time we got dine in table without wait( Monday ). Food fresh as always and tasty. I would prefer doing their dinner because of an elaborated menu than lunch menu Dinner menu have a variety of rolls and must try. I will definitely be back even though I live in other side of city.
Kudos 👍
Kiana Mcnulty
This place is seriously incredible! Fresh nigiri and sashimi. Every roll we ordered was so good, fast service. We waited about 35 mins to be sat but it was well worth the wait.
Demi M
The food is fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. Don't pass up this little gem. You can order ayce or al a carte. A great deal!

We visited here so many times while we were in college since the price was so affordable for lunch. The first time I came here, the lunch price is $7.99, and now it was raised up to $9.99, but it is still a good deal to me. I have tried some other endless sushi restaurants in Tampa, but eventually always came back to Koizi. Maybe the ginger salad that they have here is absolutely not ginger salad, but I like its creamy sour taste. Sometimes the salad was in good quality but sometimes not, particularly when the servers were busy. The sushi and rolls here are acceptable as the salmon was fresh (we only ordered salmon sushi and Philly roll). The steak and shrimp were tasty pairs with the sweet and creamy Yum Yum Sauce (I always asked for extra Yum Yum Sauce on the side). Sometimes the shrimps here were too small, but the other Koizi in Brandon location serves big and fresh shrimps most of the time. We often ordered steak and shrimp with a little bit of vegetable only, no rice or noodle, to save room for sushi. The food quality was so much better at dinner time. The price was up to $15.99 or $17.99, but people can have more appetizer and main dish choices, NY strip, lots of sushi and roll options, and especially salmon and tuna sashimi. Overall, I am a loyal fan of this place, and probably still going to be as long as it could maintain the current quality and an inexpensive price.
Seidy Sleiman
By far the best sushi buffet I’ve been to. Food feels fresher than at any other buffets where the food is just laying there in a warm bin. I’m here you order and get served in your table. Keep in mind they do charge for leftover food so you better go hungry or order only what you can eat. We ordered every 2 plates to see how we felt after each and then order again, the service is pretty quick so it’s fine to not order everything at one time.
Robin DeLancey
Most definitely my favorite sushi place! The staff are friendly and give quick service! The prices are similar to other places but have fresher ingredients and take home options! Ask for Hayden, he was super sweet and makes your experience a great one!
Basit Ali
The food tastes decent and there is usually a 10 minute wait before being seated. Dinner will cost around $20 with taxes per head and lunch around $15. Since the place is so busy, it might take a while for them to bring your order. It's better to order all items you like at once. Staff is freindly. Never mean. I personally like their mango chicken, mongolian beef, and steak and shrimp hibachi. I used to like the coconut chicken too but these days, it's just batter with no meat inisde. Still, there are many great choices for sushi and hibachi lovers.
King Of New York
Had family from New York come into town, so we wanted to have a good time. We had Hibachi and it was SO much fun. Our server was a bit forgetful but the chef behind the grill was a 10/10. Definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you want to leave a fun loving and lasting impression. We took many pictures and videos. The food was excellent. The fried Oreos could have been better though (super oily and not enough batter). A little disappointed since they don’t have many dessert options. But definitely worth a try! Thank you ⭐️

I loved Koizi! So far, this has been the best endless sushi restaurant I've been to in Tampa and Jacksonville! There some rolls that had a unique twist to them like the pink lady and hawaiin roll I have pictured. The hawaiin roll was my favorite with sliced mango and mango sauce on the top. The ingredients tastes fresh and they had great and speesy service! For dinner, the endless option was around 20 with the tax included. They do also offer an a la carte option where you pay per dish. I definitely recommend Koizi.

I'm a fairly picky person when it comes to sushi freshness, and this place totally did not disappoint. Fresh, all you can eat, well priced, and really good service. I don't mind waiting for fresh sushi.
Docked a star because the few Hibachi things my wife tried were not the best.
Lou Costanza
The 3rd star is because our waitress was covering a ridiculous amount of tables and was still super friendly and pleasant. The Mongolian beef was decent. Portions are tiny. The rules - such as how many items you can order from each section of the all you can eat menu are very very confusing. Miso soup was very watered down, almost flavorless. Had to ask for wasabi - it’s on the plate with the sushi every other place I’ve been. Spicy salmon roll was OK. Sexy Lady roll wasn’t - completely covered (read drenched) in an orange sweet sauce - could barely taste any of the other ingredients. Open hibachi table is a nice touch. Fried dough dessert was stale - very hard to chew. Restaurant itself is dimly lit making it hard to read the menu (and follow the rules on how much you can / can’t order that accompany each course). I do not recommend this restaurant. There are other, better sushi options in the area.
Zachary Kyle
Was pretty good but the staff was short and they let us run out of food several times.

I love this place. Endless hibatchi and sushi for around $20 Adult\$15 kid. Everytime my family and I go here, we enjoy ourselves.
Nabin Saud
Great Sushi place. I go there for all you can eat and it never disappoints me. Servers are very nice also.
Sam Van Ginhoven
Awesome price and value. Great staff and environment! You buy what you can’t eat, so make sure not to over do it.
Shahedul Islam
Order all you want; eat all you take....Best deal for your bucks......rules are simple ...DO NOT leave anything behind.......snow mountain, salmon skin roll, crab rangoon, dancing crab,Rock n Roll roll, dragon crab roll, hibachi( beef and chicken both available), sexy girl( yeah ..thats a dish)....god i'm salivating already...correct me if i'm wrong...i feel like its a lot better for dinner( more options)...not saying its bad for lunch either......be nice to the servers...they are the best source of info...i had no idea about japanese cuisines beforehand...they kind of walked me through.....this place is a must for some one new like me......kind of helps to get the hang of japanese cuisines..5 stars....with a SMILE>>>

I've only been here for pick up but inside looks absolutely awesome! Service is so friendly and based on my take out orders food is amazing!

The best Japanese food in town!
Kayleigh Bradbury
Really great sushi and service, for a really great price
T Fred
The Hibachi was delicious (we had shrimp, rice, & veggies) but the decor, service from Josie was Awesome!
Tammy Knight
It's soo wonderful and the atmosphere is very welcoming and calming. I love the fact that it's an "All you can eat sushi and hibachi grill" and they bring the food out to you, FRESH ! However, small disclaimer "you must eat all the food brought out to you, or you'll be charged for leftovers and no you can't take it to go! BUUUT, you can order endless amounts til your totally full!
Susie Moore
Finally a place in Tampa with all-u-can eat Sushi. Price is great, service is good and the atmosphere is romantic. Only warning is they charge for what you don't eat. As long as you keep that in mind, Enjoy
Casey Gibson
WOW! So, for starters my friends named their new puppy Koizi and said it was their favorite restaurant. I asked for more info because to name a dog after a restaurant, it must be pretty good! So my family and I went to try it Monday for lunch and now I am a fan as well!! This isn't a buffet like I was thinking when I came in. Its a beautiful restaurant with a menu. The catch is you can order 4 items at a time and then order more until you are full! The food was fresh and good quality (not like all you can eat sushi buffets)and came out quickly. My son had 3 orders of sushi! We will definitely be back!😋
Annona Synclair
Best sushi and best price for quality anywhere in Tampa Bay. Average $20 per person without drinks. With drinks, including 3 beers and a saké as well as 3 non alcoholic beverages, we spent around $120 for 4 adults.
Supun B Attanayake
That is a little bit of wait to get into the restaurant. You have to go inside, give your name and wait outside in the waiting area. You can either go with an à la carte menu or endless hibachi in which you have to pay a fixed price. Drinks are not included for this price. The quality of food is very good and unlike many of the buffet places, this does not make you feel thirsty. Highly recommended.
Annie Stover
This is a wonderful idea, all you can eat fresh made sushi & hibachi. Staff was friendly and food is amazing. We went on a busy Saturday night and it took a while for food to arrive (half hour). We were not seated at a hibachi table. It looked like they were short staffed. Other than the long wait for food once seated, it was a great experience.
Amanda Munguia-Byrd
I wasn't expecting much but ended up impressed. My new favorite hibachi tofu lives here; perfectly crispy outside and pleasantly firm inside. The only minor complaint we had was how dark it was. Which is also why I have no photos to post with this review.
Prices are great, too. We ate a lot, enjoyed the food, and left happy.
Nicole Simmonds
Always love when we go - service is prompt and friendly. Like that they are using disposable cutlery, plates, and cups. Price is good and sushi selection is the best we've had anywhere. It will always be our go to spot.
Rodolfo Morales Moraes
The best Cheese Crab Sticks ever!
Awesome!
Super recommend!

The best Hibachi & Sushi buffet you can get in Tampa! The atmosphere is very cosy and the service is great!!
Luis Pagan
We had lunch, for the price it is fine 12.99 adults,6.99$ children's, everything you can eat certainly but be careful, if you leave food on the plate it will have an extra cost, not bad quality although there are much better ones, the main room is a little dark, the parking lot It is shared with other establishments and the space for parking is small, I would return for dinner since the menu has more and better options
Leticia Chavez
Delicious food, very good sizes of plates, excellent waitress, good service and very dark place. Personally I like natural light.
Oyindamola Odunjo
The food was amazing! And the price is even better for endless food. Best with a group of 5+, so that you can all try different things and get your money’s worth. Service was very nice and efficient. It’s clean and has a nice ambiance.
Ariana Hernandez
Lisa the manager was extremely rude to our party. I would recommend finding another manager. She is not aware of her behavior. From the moment we walked in, she demanded that we order without providing us with a menu. She screamed at wait staff in front of us and it was unprofessional. She does not appear to handle pressure and stress well and it is negatively reflected in her lack of customer service. It was my friends first time here and she said she will not come back because of their bad service. The food did not taste fresh, I’ve been coming here for a couple years but recently the food and service quality is not good.
Larry the Table Guy
This place is very packed mostly because it is in a college area, but other than the concept and the low lighting that gives it a cool feel there is nothing that stands out about this restaurant.
The lighting is almost too low to see your menu/food let alone take pictures(hence why I have no pictures). They have the tables way close together you have no privacy and the food was mediocre. Check out Sake on Dale Mabry for a better experience and food IMO.
Jeremy Williams
Good place for “endless” hibachi, Chinese and sushi. Decently priced for fairly fresh, non-buffet food. Good place to take friends and family. Recently took my daughter and some of her friends there for her birthday.
Meghan Mahoum-Nassar
The whole family loves Koizi - there’s something for everyone on the menu including hibachi, a good selection of sushi rolls, kids menu with fries and chicken tenders for the less adventurous eaters, and the food keeps coming until you’re ready to stop. Always friendly servers - just be patient during meal rushes and with special orders as they make the food fresh and it can take a little time if there’s a lot going on. It’s worth the wait though, always delicious!
Aya E
Prices are reasonable, sushi was good but service little bit slow.
DB
Endless Hibachi!!! The food was great and you can’t beat the price. 5 stars
Melinda Messineo
Our waiter (Ty) was so funny and very friendly. He made the evening even more enjoyable!!
The portions were a pretty good size, especially considering it's "endless" and everything was SO fresh and delicious.
They were very conscientious of my food allergy and made sure my dining experience was safe without sacrificing quality or flavor.
There was a 30 minute wait when we arrived, which was surprising since we were there pretty late in the evening, but it was ABSOLUTELY worth it!!
Cindy Lynne
Good sushi and hibachi place for all you can eat. Sushi always fresh & doesn’t take long to come out to you. Servers always nice. The wait time can be a bit long to get in. They were serving on plastic plates & have finally switched back to regular plates which is a nice for them to be back to normal. We order a Togo a lot of the time & never had been disappointed with it. You can also order the yum yum sauce to go in a larger cup for $5 bucks.
Gregg Ferragino
Food was delicious, but I was a bit irked when it came to the bill. I didn't want the AYCE Lunch special, just the $10 lunch. I wasn't given rice and was still charged AYCE pricing. Like any other restaurant at lunchtime they were slammed so I didn't make a big deal about it, but it takes away from the experience when you expect a cheaper bill than what came. It happens, we're all human.
Paul Behling
We had a party of 14 for my daughter's birthday and they accommodated us very well. Our waiter was Stevan and was the best service I have had in awhile. We showed up 30 minutes before they closed (Are Bad) but he never once acted frustrated or trying to push us to get out. He kept bring us food till we were stuffed and then we had our daughters cake. Truly amazing customer service by Stevan I cannot say enough, if we lived here we would go back, and if we are ever back in the area we will be back for sure!
Rebecca Cullen
This place was extremely short staffed and we had to wait for 45 minutes for a half filled restaurant. Once we were seated, our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service. We had the sushi, and the chefs did not disappoint! A great place to eat and we will be back. I hope you are able to get fully staffed soon:)
Anakins Twin
This was my first time here but the next time I'm in town I'll be back. We sat at the hibachi table and the chef was a riot, the other server was great too. My friend had the vegetable stir fry and loved it. I shared sushi with my other friend and he and I were stuffed full of the freshest sushi I've had in over a year. Excellence across the board!

The best money invest...love
Thrupthi u k shetty
I loved the sushi here... It's fresh and the food is reasonable to the price!!
Timothy Johnson
This place is mediocre at best. They work hard, but the atmosphere is like a Chinese buffet. Food was good, but they only offered low sodium soy sauce, and I had to ask for wasabi. They didn't just bring it out with my sushi order. It still got the job done with my appetite though. So meh
Dion Sarita Acevedo
Had a great experience with the staff and enjoyed our meal to the "fullest"!! Sushi was fresh, hibachi was good, and it was all UNLIMITED!! Really want to thank the owner/management for honoring Military and First Responders with a generous discount...truly humbled!!
Colleen Entel
One of our very favorite places to go ! All of our family members choose Koizi to go for their birthday dinners and special occasions . They give you a great portion of good for the price …,,. And it is always so delicious!
Been to two other hibachi restaurants but Koizi tops them ….Highly recommended!
Victoria Johnson
Use to come to Koizi all the time, but I hadn't been in a while. Tried to go Tuesday but they were closed. My fault for not checking before going even though being closed on a Tuesday is bizarre. They have instituted a new policy of only being able to order 4 items of a certain menu item at a time which is annoying and could limit you if your server doesn't come back to the table often. Sushi is still amazing, just getting it might be a pain.
E Moonflower
Would love to give this place a 5stars after the remodeling they recently did to the floor, it really lighted up the atmosphere, but they need to bring back the "Chrismas Roll" it was mine and my husbands favorite thing to order. When it comes back this place will get 5stars on my account.
Do to recent events, my husband gives this place a 5 stars. Found out this place has things we can still order even when not on the menu. But he did say it will go back down if he can't get it again.
Carissa Santigate
I have never had endless sushi before, I’ll probably never have it anywhere else, because I go here like weekly now it’s so good. I’ve ordered in from them, their sushi is just as great not bad buffet food like you would expect attached to “endless sushi”
Tee O
Swung by this sushi and hibachi buffet for dinner. At about 8:45 pm, there was still a wait. While we were told it would be a 20 minute wait, it turned out to be only 5 minutes . However, once we were sat, it was about another 10-15 minutes before a server came to our table. It was busy but emptying out quickly by this time, and all of the tables around us had dirty dishes sitting on there. Fortunately, a server did swing by and take our orders. Of note, this is not an open self-serve buffet, but an “a-la-carte order as much as you want with your server” buffet. I will say, the food does come out quick when the orders are placed. Within minutes, we had appetizers, hibachi and sashimi at the table. Even the sushi rolls came quick, and they were large and fresh. I would caution on over ordering initially, and to just order the sushi rolls as you start to finish each one. By the time our last couple rolls came out, we were stuffed and felt bad wasting the food. For dessert, the fried donuts were good, as was the ice cream. Overall, all of the food was delicious and fresh. The hibachi was cooked and seasoned well. With the sushi, I’m surprised the place doesn’t do half orders of rolls because each one was huge (8-10 pieces, full-sized rolls). In general, our server was attentive and friendly, but did go missing a couple of times. Last call for food was about 9:40 pm even though they close at 10 pm. By the time we left around 9:50, we were the last customers left. For the price ($18.95 pp), this place can’t be beat and we would definitely be back again, even with some of the minor hiccups.
Tracey S
Always a good meal. Such variety for a great price. You can't go wrong with the hibachi grill. Appreciate the charge for food waste.
Xman CRM
Food was pretty good so was service! Didn’t get to sit by hibachi table as there was over 1 hr wait on a Wednesday! Ambience is dark which hides how old the place is, totally worth it and must try in the area.

You don't taste the seaweed at all, which was great. I admit I was hesitant to try sushi at first for the longest because I didn't like the taste of seaweed when I was younger. I tried sushi for the first time while on a date and it was delicious! Had me thinking about it the next day wanting to try some more. I liked it so much I wanted to experiment and tried the one with avocado and that unfortunately filled me up lol. Next time I crave sushi on an empty stomach, I'm definitely headed here.
James Ser
Stopped in for lunch, much better than the one in Brandon. Waitstaff is super friendly and quick.
Rich Dansereau
Made to order sushi, hibachi, and appetizers! Worth the 45 minute, Friday night wait for a table.
Jacqueline Larson
Wonderful all you can eat hibachi, if I had to stay an issue it's the room is way too dark sometimes you can't read the menu, and it does take a while to get your first food items, and some of the staff are awesome others are a little lackluster. I guess it depends on what day you're there and who you get but the food is always awesome.
Luca Ferrentini
Amazing prices but the food is not the best, it just seems like a lot of spicy mayo on everything.
Maryann Young
I was absolutely livid!!! I've been there 5x so far during dinner hours. I understand that is busy so I'm patient. We waited 25 min for a table which is expected but then when we got to the table we waited another 15 before waiter came. On top of the that, the waiter that came I kept seeing him walking back and forth to the front desk and wasnt serving anyone, and the whole 15 minutes that I was waiting watching him walk back and forth he would make eye contact but wouldn't come help... then the table next to us gets seated and he rush to help them right away also the next table after that. So pretty much only we were waiting long. Then upon ordering he came with drinks.i know you might not remember whose is who's but at least dont rush putting it down causing the the drink to slosh around and he went to grab the straws and just tossed it on the table.. which i fpund rude af...food was fantastic. But while waiting for food we finished our drink and couldn't get a refill until we waved him down for one. Like I said he seem to be the busiest one in there running around not really waitering. What made me leave early was the fact that we ordered food and he seem to have forgotten half of it bc he didn't write it down but again kept making eye contact and looking towards our table but not coming over to help.never once even asked if the food ok.next time I go I definitely would want a different waiter
Adriane Guerreiro
I honestly loved this place! I went on a Thursday and the price was great! The food is very good and our waitress was very sweet
Audra May
Delicious sushi, great service and great price for all you can eat sushi and hibachi.
B Ferragine
Was ok. The food is not the best but was good, Friendly stuff
Sammy Ortiz
I've been here several times. Very good food and the lunch price is a great deal. I asked if they give Veterans a discount and they said they only give it to police officers. It’d be nice if they included Active Duty and Veterans as well.
Tonja Breeding
Was very good food and friendly staff. The only bad things are they limit you on sashimi and on our second visit the sashimi was warm and my guy ended up sick and he was the only one that had the sashimi. If it’s warm send it back but overall great value on all you can eat sushi.
Tyler Nault
I like this place. Decent quality sushi, they make it to order and the best part is its endless!
Tyler Womack
The food is good for the price. You get 98% of the menu for around $20 which is not bad at all. I ordered quite a few different types of sushi and they all had their own temperature which was slightly off-putting. I would go back, it's just a once-in-a-while type place. It scratches the sushi itch, but as expected not the highest quality.
Armelio Reyes
Food was awesome and the service great as well.. but the young lady that you have at greet point. Was not the appropriate person you should as the first impression. She forced us to sit at the table as you walk in on your right that I requested from the get go. The place was empty and she said no to my request. Less than 5 minutes later my requested table was filled. When I went up to pay at the counter her reaction was once again not nice. I was told that the waitress takes the payment. I will be back for the food and service. .
Lopassmore
Great place for lunch oe dinner. Can't wait to go back 😋
Anparo Hernandez
The wait is worth it. The sushi is amazing, side dishes and appetizers too.
E Fowler
This is definitely my ALL time favorite endless sushi buffet. The staff is 1000% KIND, caring, and even considerate! I have never felt as great as when I am being served by the staff here. They have WONDERFUL mouth watering sushi. The hibachi is literally the best plate I've ever had. They make sure you leave satisfied! I recommend this place highly and on the daily to anyone who will listen while I am out and about. The price for what you get is phenomenal! This is definitely a must visit restaurant. I will continue to come back to this restaurant often!
Orion Maier
The lunch buffet is a great value if you're trying to scratch a sushi craving. Quality isn't up there, but at the price of $12 a person for lunch it's totally a great deal. Service is super fast and the menu is expansive enough to cover most tastes.
Tay Tay
It’s all you can eat sushi, so obviously it’s not the best sushi but it’s worth going for the first time. However the service there is extremely terrible.
Christian RICKERS-NOELL
Good Japanese food, especially the Hibachi. It is very dark inside and a bit cold. Staff is friendly and prices are pretty low. 20 bucks for endless dining
Ashley Young
Pretty fast service, especially considering we had a huge party. The sushi tastes great. The eel sauce was weird, but there was plenty other stuff to try and I enjoyed it. I was especially surprised how good a sweet potato roll was.
Emily Engstrom
Service was fast and friendly. It's hard to complain when it's all you can eat sushi at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend Koizi over the other AUCE spot on Dale Mabry. Apps, soup and salad were all good, as was the Alaskan roll, Rock n Roll, and hibachi. We did get a bad piece of tuna sashimi toward the middle/end of the meal which turned us off finishing any more rolls with tuna but the Salmon was fresh. I do wish they would turn the lights up in the dining room. Mango and strawberry sorbet were a nice end to the meal.
Denise Heath
Fabulous Experience and Outstanding Dishes! Sean our server was very attentive, prompt and helpful with suggestions. We enjoyed Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi, Tempura Chicken, Avocado, Christmas, & Philly rolls, Mongolian beef, Sashimi, And Ice Cream and Mango Sorbet to complete the meals~ will definitely be back soon
Josh M
Great value for what you pay. Food comes out very quickly but it's still hot a fresh. Prompt service. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all good.
Orcatronic Studios
Great food, never disappoints. Every time I have someone come visit me in Tampa, I bring them here and everyone loves it. The food takes a reasonable time to come one out. The sushi is great and the hibachi even better. I would love if the lighting was slight better but not a complaint that would make this review not be 5 stars. This place will always be my favorite hibachi and sushi place.
Dominique Anderson
I visited Koizi for the first time today to check out their all you can eat sushi option. Jeff was the sweet and attentive young man who took care of my orders. He’s top notch at providing great service! Ask for him to wait on you on your way in. The sashimi and sushi rolls were good too! The Dancing Crab is a favorite on the menu and it didn’t disappoint.
Anca G.
We have recently moved to the area and we're happy that we have this place in our neighborhood. The food is great and the service is okay too. Will come again.
Stacy M
I'm kind of shifted on this review because I had the best waiter his name was TJ and the food that came out was amazing. However I ordered a lobster tail and scallops which was extra on the menu price wise and it came out absolutely disgusting and made me sick to my stomach and I asked TJ to take it away after 1 bite of each. He gladly did and he took it off my bill. It tasted like red tide in Florida it was gross really bad and I had to end my evening with them shortly after. I guess ordering the high price items comes with a Godawful price. #IllStickToRegsThereNow #BeenInTheBathroomSince
Harry Sheppard
Great price for sushi lovers who like to binge eat! I come here often and am always seated within 2 minutes regardless of business. You can not complain about the prices because it is great quality food! I generally stick with the spicy tuna roll and salmon skin but all options are great! I'm a college student and for the price the quality is superior. Highly recommended!!
Jake and Dannie Littlefield
We got takeout and brought it home. The sushi was good, but I was disappointed that it didn't come with wasabi or ginger. We saw some on a table there and moved to get it, but the server assured us it was already in the bag.
Elon Musk
Amazing food and service! I went a few days ago and my family was ordering a LOT but our server was able to keep up and she had said it was only her second day! Thanks Cameron :) fantastic experience
Patrick M. Clark
Amazing service! Amazing service! The food was very good. I would suggest to bring an appetite and you will not eat the rest of the day. We had a group of 15 and we spent a comfortable hour and a half and walked out with my belly in a wheelbarrow. I suggest you bring one to. I had steak chicken shrimp and several sushi rolls. Loved all of the...they were the raw fish ones. For as cheap as it is to eat with the amazing service I do it know how they make a lot of money.

Exactly like Kobes but much less expensive. Great service, great food.
Thomas Heath
I’m giving this place 5 stars simply for the food quality and the value of the flat fee you pay for an all you can eat experience. No this isn’t your normal Asian buffet, it’s a freshly made as your order all you can eat experience. I love places like this that offer good quality food for very little money. If you want a beer with your meal this place has that also. Great place for birthdays and the staff gives you a celebration you’ll never forget. You guys rock!!
Gale Rouse
It was more than I expected, and the service was great too. Our wait person was Reba and she was on the ball, quite courteous and efficient. The food was nice and warm when it got to the table and delicious. I want to go back very soon. I've told many people about y'all. It was my daughter's birthday and I'm proud to say we all enjoyed our visit!
Robert van der Laan
We have been going to Koizi for years, one of our favorite sushi places. On our recent visit with a group of seven the food did not disappoint: nice selection of fresh sushi rolls and good hibachi (I had the steak). Service was also very pleasant and with a good sense of humor. However, what's up with the styrofoam and plastic??? How can COVID be an excuse not to give you decent plates, utensils and glasses? We have been eating out in 2021 many times already; nowhere did we experience a sit down restaurant using disposables only. What a waste of resources and hugely detrimental to the dining experience. We will not be back until they use proper dinnerware again...
Rebecca Espinal
Wonderful! Our waitress was lovely; Amanda. She was fast and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave me vegan and vegetarian options.
The food was delicious, tasted fresh but wasn't as hot as I would've liked it. The sesame buns were absolutely delicious and so was the fried dough.
I wasn't too thrilled about the lighting in the restaurant, I get it's the ambiance and all but it was just too dark for me. I could barely see the color of my food. All in all it was a good experience!
Hector Santana
Open in Christmas 🎄 day! Food was excellent. The sushi is very good and the Hibachi is even better. I used to go to Saki in Carrollwood because it's closer to us. Not anymore. I will definitely drive 20 minutes for much better food. And our waitress Lisa was amazing! My first time definitely not my last. …
Adrienne Tucker
I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The price, $10.95 for all you can eat Sushi and Hibachi, is fantastic. And the food is good! As a sushi lover, I can say I have had better, but it is definitely a step up from your average sushi bar. Both times I have been here, the service was quick despite being very busy. Parking may be difficult as the restaurant is in a very busy complex. The lighting inside the restaurant is dim, but that didn’t bother me. When they are busy it is LOUD. There are no interior walls inside so the acoustics are amplified.
Overall, this restaurant has made it on my “go-to” list for my lunch dates with my husband!
Britt Coley
It was ok, and just ok. I was excited to go here and I guess my expectations were just a bit high. The lighting is really dim and effected the color of the fish so that my salmon under the lights looked white, I had to use my phone to double check because the orange lighting just washed it all out. Everything was served on Styrofoam plates and in Styrofoam bowls. Wasn't expecting that. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I likely wouldn't choose to go back because there are several other sushi and hibachi places closer to me with much better options and (to me) better food quality. Again it wasnt bad I just wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
Chad Josselyn
Ok so how good can an all you can eat sushie and hibachi grill be you might ask? The answer is amazing if you're eating at Koizi, always fresh and made to order bring your appetite and your loved ones to enjoy a truly delicious meal. My only complaint is how full I get because of how good the food is.
Evan The White
The place when walking in had dirty carpets and had trash and on the floors and reminded me of a place that needed to be cleaned a little more thoroughly even before service started, let alone when busy. I had a wait time which was expected going here on a weekend which I have done a couple times in the past. My server while not speaking unpolitely was definetly having a typical weekend bad day or had something personally going on with him. He didn't act this way to us but seemed miserable to be serving his shift that day and made it feel like we were adding to it. The food comes out so slow that we usually order large groups of food at one time so hopefully we're not sitting at the Table for 10 or 15 minutes at a time just to get our next order. The only reason I gave 3 instead of 2 is the food here is actually pretty good and the sushi is above average for all you can eat variety, and they have a drink menu if you wish to have a beer with typical choices such as Kirin Ichiban, and Sopporo, and some mixed drinks and wine if that's your thing. I'd say go on a slow time in the middle of the week if you want a more pleasant experience.
Cristian Barragan
You get what you pay for. While the quality of the food is average, the service was very good. Restaurant is quite dark so consider bringing a flash light.
A. P.
First time eating hibachi. Our server Jordan went above and beyond to explain and give endless info and suggestions. I liked everything that was ordered at my table. Prices reasonable. Would just suggest better lighting for easier reading. Will def return.
Laila Belle
I’m fat. I eat out a lot to feed my food disorder. (Awful) so I get spoiled when some places treat me better than others, and then I expect things that aren’t always possible for some places. Okay. So I walk in, no one greats me. I wait for a second and ask if they need a reservation, lady says no and seats me. Waitress is nice. No problems with her.The guys that says that the hibachi tastes like lighter fluid, surprisingly he’s right. It’s awful. This is sushi would be a lot better but I noticed that they’re using old product. Like old fish. It’s understandable that restaurants need to get rid of old things before they can serve new things, but I’m wondering if what I ate was safe. 😂 oh well. The paper plate thing it’s fine it’s an all you can eat sushi experience, it’s not supposed to be classy. And this is during a pandemic, so I know that the owners probably made some type of weird rule with that. There’s this one roll that they serve that just has mayo on top of it. I think it’s called a volcano roll, don’t order it. It’s gross. The crab salad is good! And their sesame balls are really good too.Overall I think this place has a lot of potential, but also has a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully someone in management reads this, I didn’t want to bring it up with anyone there on a Friday when stress is high. But despite that it didn’t look too busy in there, hopefully they’ll make better business soon.
Tricia Jo
First time there.. it was delicious.. endless hibachi food at a great price I'll definitely return!
Patrick Frisby
Always a good meal on Sunday all you can eat. We have been there 4 times and have not been disappointed. Servers are usually really nice and quick, but if I had one thing to critique it would be there cocktails. Definitely room for improvement there. Other than that, a really nice place to eat.
Brian Strain
The sushi is good. I can see why the prices reflects size of the sushi pieces compared to other places around town. Very flavorful tasting food. Staff is nice and helpful on recommendations. Prompt wait staff. The only negative would be how loud it gets in the dining area. Could up the lighting a bit too. As a designer using all hard surfaces in open restaurant dining rooms is not good it kills the atmosphere for normal tone conversation. I don't like yelling, or talking over other people, or trying to hear my company talking as part of my dining experience.
LeeoJohnson
Food was delicious and the price is extremely for the service. We sat at the grill and a chef prepared our meal. You pay one price for a Hibachi Grill meal (about $13) but then you're allowed anything else from the kitchen at no additional cost. Staff are friendly and keep the place clean. The atmosphere is calming with dim lights. I tried sushi for the first time. It was delicious; I liked it but I could do without it (personal preference). Overall, great setting for date night or family night.
Charles Connelly III
Food is great for style of restaurant, but the styrofoam plates and cups seem really wasteful, but I don't know if this is in response to the food service worker shortage, or the dishwasher being broken. Other than that the lighting isn't the best, really dim, and the food runners and waitress called a few dishes the wrong thing as they were handing them out, but this also could be because they were relatively busy and seemed light on staff.
Christina Sanchez
Sushi was very good and pricing was amazing because it was all you can eat and you still got served (didn't have to go up to the buffet). I appreciate that salad and/or soup and a scoop of ice cream came with fried dough was included with the price. Only reason I give it a 4 is because 1. It was extremely dark inside 2. The waitress seemed stretch too thin and couldn't come by as much as normal and 3. The wait was bad because so many people wanted to eat there.
Hot Mess
A star off for customer service that needs work.
Food is good for the most part. The Ginger dressing on the salad is creamy mayo-based dressing and not standard ginger dressing, as a heads up.
After our server took our order it was about 20min when she returned to the table to see if we needed anything else. She also came back carrying a load of dirty dishes from another table and placed them on our table to get additional food orders. The food runners hand over plates across the table instead of putting them down in front of you.
Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere wasn't unpleasant. It was a bit dark to be able to properly see the menu and each other. This place does get very busy at lunch. We were able to walk right in and be seated but there were many groups waiting when we left.
Jade Darrell
Koizi has been consistent for years, with solid food choices and pleasant staff. What's nice is that they have an actual hibachi service where the chef will cook in front of you all for the same price as the endless amount. With that being said it is a popular place and typically you will have to wait. They have even expanded into another room but the wait remains. It would be nice if they added a few new rolls to the menu though but what they have should appeal to a wide variety.
Last Options
Great food. Expect long wait for table around lunch time.
Sheldon B
The food is of generally good quality. The quality of the sushi is a big better than the quality of the hibachi. That state they do a good job of providing value.
The service is usually sub-par, good even the nature of this endless feel confident. It love s not unusual to wait for long periods without seeing your server. Regardless, if you like sushia and you're looking to eat on a budget, Koizi is a great choice for lunch or dinner.
Young Lee
For a while quality fell so much I had to look for alternate sushi place. Now, this place is back to how I remember it being. Great quality at good price.
10/10 will be back.
Finn DeLuca
If you come here during the weekend and during normal meal time, expect a long wait for the hibachi grill. I feel it's worth it, though, the chefs I've had were personable and seemed to enjoy what they were doing.
Food is aplenty and it's all delicious. I love the endless sushi, and it's best to go in a group to share sushi orders.
Justin Reinman (GoldenDazeElf)
This place has been an on off experience. Sometimes the service is great, sometimes the service is really bad (busy or not). The sushi can be really good, but I once got sushi that still had the shrimp shell in it. Hibachi is good if cooked in front of you. Don't expect to be blown away by this place. But its good if you are looking to eat a big meal.
Dominique Bolden
Good and fastish service. I enjoyed the sushi a lot more than the hibachi portion of my all you can eat meal. The menu is pretty extensive for the price of lunch "buffet". That is in parenthesis because it is a sit down restaurant and everything is made to order but you can order as much as you want just as long as you can eat it all before they charge for leftovers of course. Server was nice, he forgot that we ordered our last entree not alone what we ordered at all. He was tentative enough so that he wasn't pestering us as we ate. Overall good experience though.
Briana Conwell
Delicious sushi and sweet tea. My favorite is the Philly roll
Jodi P.
Have enjoyed dining here for years, and this visit added to my positive experiences at the restaurant. Edgar was a superior server, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and the hibachi chicken and shrimp delightful. My dining partner was a little disappointed in the Wasabi Salmon that he ordered, but enjoyed all his sushi, especially the Hokkaido roll! Yum! This place is usually crowded on the weekends, but worth the wait.
Hawgwld N Hartlss
Upon entering, I was pretty impressed. It looked like it would be relatively upscale. The service was good. The food for the most part was good, though nothing to write home about. They lost me when my lobster tail came out and it was way over cooked. Fortunately, a friend took me, so I didn't have to pay for a so-so meal.
Lour Rabieh
Yummmy lunch all you can eat sushi great service and endless options just love it
Mark Nusekabel
Super friendly people, and endless good food for a reasonable price. I tried the gyoza, sesame balls, Koizi roll, salmon nigiri, and steak and chicken hibachi, with fried dough and ice cream for dessert. Everything tasted delicious!
John Winn
Had a great lunch here. Lighting is a little dark but other than that, it was fine. Food was passable, but don't get me wrong, it won't top a high end sushi place. This is definitely the place to go if you just want to eat sushi and won't be upset if it's not the best of the best. It's also a great date spot if you're on a budget.
Douglas Baldwin
I like the food, I like the service, I like the prices. Not too bad all around. If you do the all you can eat, they give smaller portions than you might find in another restaurant, but that is all the better as you can try different menu items in one sitting. Chicken and shrimp hibachi was very good, and their wasabi was top notch. Service was friendly and helpful. They do warn you not to waste food, but I think that is reasonable. A family of four can get out of here for maybe $60 which in this day and age is not bad at all. Very dark inside and a bit chilly which if fine by me.
Sam the Marble Racer
Great restaurant to eat with your family. The food is very delicious and you can have the option to watch the chefs cook your food right in front of you, with a few tricks up their sleeve that kids seem to enjoy. Sometimes the wait time can get incredibly long due to the popularity. It can get pretty noisy sometimes too. Good food place overall.
Noah Pool
Could eat for hours they always get me in a good mood and with a good meal with an amazing atmosphere I could see dinner meetings and reunions alike coming to this buffet for a good meal.
Olivia Saroukos
This place is phenomenal! If you go between 11 and 2, it's a lunch special and it's only $11! It's all you can eat sushi, hibachi, and more. However it's not a traditional buffet style. You just order what you want and they bring it your table.
David Cy
All you can eat hibachi and sushi for 12 dollars. Sushi quality is kind of low but still decent for only 12 dollars all you can eat.
Molly D (Molls)
Many people have told me about this place, so of course I had to check it out. The main appeal is endless sushi and hibachi, the only condition is you have to finish what's on your plate or you pay a surcharge for what is leftover (50 cents per roll). I liked that there were tons of sushi options made to order; the Red Dragon roll was my favorite. Service was great and snappy, plus the restaurant was clean with a comfortable atmosphere. It wasn't the best sushi or hibachi I have ever had but for the price it was a steal! There certainly were a lot of hungry USF students there!
Rob Riley
I really enjoyed this place! There approach to all-you-can eat sushi was great. Even better, everything tasted delicious. I had a few different sushi rolls, the clear onion soup, and a small bowl of chocolate ice cream for dessert. Service was excellent! Only issues I had is that the restaurant was dimly lit and I felt kind of cramped in the dining area. Nonetheless, I look forward to returning for another meal!
Alexis Daymont
Amazing sushi and hibachi! 20 bucks a person with your drink and you can get specialty sushi rolls and small portions of hibachi at a time for this "buffet" deal. they serve you as you eat and they are extremely fast! You get charged for leftovers so order as you eat is a must. .50 per sushi piece leftover. Its super dark inside but relaxing even though it's usually busy. Ginger salad is very refreshing! Usually hibachi meals are super big but they actually give you meal sized portions so you don't have a bunch leftover. Love this place!!
Igor G
The staff and food are amazing, but the restaurant is (too much) dark.
Raul Montalvo
Food was decent the main server was great. But the rest of the staff was questionable. It took to long for the hibachi chef to show up and then they started cleaning the grill with chemicals while we were still sitting. That was really unprofessional. So make sure you go at least 2 hour before closing and understand that the people that bring the food out looks like they are there against their will.
Raymond Michael Adcock
Really good for all you can eat sushi. Staff are very friendly and professional. I've been to a large number of sushi houses and this one is my favorite.
Even when super busy they are timely and considerate.
The food is above average in my opinion. And it's high quality fish. I'm gulf coast born and raised, I know fresh fish. And I've never been disappointed here. 5 Star's....
Damian Clyburn
All you can eat fresh sushi is what they have here. I love this place. Came here with my family and twin daughters(16 months) and we all loved it. The ice cream was amazing too. I will definitely be bringing my family back here very soon!
Preethum Prithviraj
It's hard to knock unlimited sushi... And this place does it pretty well. A fair amount of variety, but I typically find myself picking the same items when I come. Waits can get long in the afternoons, even on weekdays, so come as close to open as you can to avoid a wait. For the most part, the food and service is great, though when I've sometimes come later, the food did seem less maintained, a little to overdone for some of the cooked items, etc. But it's still a great place to come and enjoy. Not the best kid environment since it's a bit smaller, but it's atmosphere is definite kid friendly.
Great One
The chefs were great but the portions were really small for the price. The all- you-can-eat menu required food to be brought to your table. It took them 25 minutes to bring out my order of shrimp which was only 4 shrimp. It was a let down considering I've been to many Hibachi restaurants.
Shae Winters
My husband and I went in today for a nice lunch on our day off. I was skeptical because of some of the reviews, quoting long wait times and slow service. When we first arrived, about half an hour after opening, there was already a wait. I didn't mind, however, and in about 20 minutes, we were seated. Our server was prompt coming over and getting our drink orders, and started taking our order down for what we wanted. We hadn't been there before, but we ordered an appetizer or two and had him come back. Within 5 minutes, we had our drinks and the start of our meal, and we put in the rest of our order. After all was said and done, I think we spent perhaps 45-60 minutes in the restaurant, and we got two appetizers each, five sushi rolls between us, two entrees, and dessert. The price was unbelievable, and the food tasted very very good. I can imagine going at dinner or on a weekend having a longer wait since everything is made as you order, but frankly, I prefer getting fresh food over a buffet any day. And I have to admit, our server was more than generous in letting us order more. In fact, on three occasions he actually offered to add something else we hadn't seen to our order (which was all included in the one price for the all you can eat). Unheard of in my experience! I will absolutely be back, and am already planning my next lunch there.
Toxic Pig
Service was excellent, food was passable for the style. Most of the sushi was tasty and freshly made, but the cooked items such as the tempura rolls tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. A decent enough meal for the price, but I doubt I'll be back.
Lauren
Wow! Such amazing quality for a flat fee. The flavors were there where many places lack. Efficient service. Beats a buffet if you are sitting down with people you enjoy haha. I would recommend the hibachi as it had some of the best seasoning amongst other restaurants of its kind, and the sushi was artfully displayed. Excellent work, Koizi! Will definitely be back when in the area.
billiphotos
The food is wonderful and the staff is fantastic! Lisa was a rockstar! She made us feel welcome from the second we were seated to the time we left! Very friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back!
S D
Nothing better than all you can eat sushi!! Food is fresh and serves are super friendly and nice! Oh its cheap too!!
Kevim_A
Fantastic experience, especially for the price. Had a great amount of variety. I am a vegetarian and went out for dinner with omnivore/pescatarian friends, and everybody was happy with their meals. The speed of service and memory of the waiter was astounding for how much variety and volume of food was coming out. Excellent value, great tasting stuff (not revolutionary, but great), and the server was very kind and attentive. Five stars.
Car Ander
I have been to the one in Brandon and in Tampa. The staff are super friendly. Their food is great quality for an all you can eat. They serve smaller portions so that there isn't any wasted food. Once you go you will know how many orders what what you want at a time. Reservations are a day in advance. (we made that mistake trying to get a Hibachi same day), or you can just walk in and be seated at a regular table. All in all I was really happy with my food and had a wonderful time with my family.

The is the best sushi around and for a great price. The hibachi and other food options just add more deliciousness. We have been going for years and the quality is always on point. My favorites are the dancing crab and sweet potato roll. Last week, we tried the dumplings, and lettuce wrap. Also yum!

Been here twice both for a work function, the service is not good. Both both times we were here the service was subpar. The cooks at the Hibachi tables were average both times. The Hibachi food was decent but the sushi disappointed both times I've been there. I talk to someone that used to work there and said the sushi is made fresh daily but because it's an all-you-can-eat situation they only make it once a day in the morning. When you're dealing with seafood and sushi you wanted to be made fresh right then. So the second time I went I only ordered vegetarian sushi and that seemed to be a little better, I mean you get what you pay for it is a good deal if you want to eat large quantities of food but I'd rather have good quality food and a regular portion and be done with it.

Delicious food and amazing service. my ultimate favorite place to go
Nikki Lohmeyer
The server we had was amazing. Very knowledgeable! Very kind and helped me with the vegan options! The food was so delicious that I ate a lot.
3 stars because I was so full that my nipples started hurting. Definitely recommend the experience. Come here.

I was excited that they opened 'dine in' but I was disappointed in my food. Everything is served on styrofoam plates, plastic silverware, and cups. The dancing crab roll i ordered is normally served warm but it was cold and didn't seem fresh. The Rock n roll was good. My sever was very nice. He was very friendly and a conversationalist. He made my lunch break enjoyable eventhough the food was mediocre.

Very nice sashimi. The cooked dishes could have been hotter out of the kitchen. But for 'endless' was tasty enough. Service was good.

Its endless sushi so its typical style endless. Rolls are decent size. Service is good. Not the best sushi in town but ok for the price. The only thing is the rolls that should be cold are more like room temp which is slightly concerning. Good place to go with a group for a special casual occasion

Used to love this place. It's still delicious, but now they are using disposable plates and silverware, soy sauce packets, etc. Kind of throws off the atmosphere. The wait also takes way longer to get a table now. Still enjoyable, but also disappointing

Prices are great for an unlimited Hibachi. For $17.99 I got sushi, soup, salad, appetizers, NY Strip & Chicken, Rice, skipped the noodles, & veggies.. If I hadn't been so stuffed, I would have had desert too. This was the second time we have eaten here before my youngest had surgery...her pick :) Service was good and the hibachi chef was good. He put on a small show, not as elaborate as other hibachi restaurants, but stilled enjoyed it and my daughter was extremely satisfied!

I liked the food. It was my first ever sushi and it tasted great. The prices are amazing, and the food came out quickly. The staff seemed off a bit. The waiter seemed odd. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place! I look forward to coming again soon.

My wife and I frequent Koizi and we love it. The price is a bargain for the food that you receive. The quality is always spot on too. I have yet to receive an old sushi roll or food that tasted as though it had been sitting. We go 3+ times a month and are happy they opened a location in Brandon since we're moving down there. Tried that location out on 3/24/2015 and it was just as great.

Endless Sushi at a very good quality and if you want you could still sit at a Hibachi grill to watch the chef cook once during the endless Hibachi part of your meal. Also all those wonderful appetizers, desserts, and sides are endless. I am as well fond of the cheese sticks off the kids menu. Regardless of how you dine the staff with treat you warmly and see to your comfort. I have had a pleasant and endearing experience every time I have been to Koizi. Imagine removing only the buffet part of an all you can eat dining experience to instead have very wonderful quality foods made to order.

I've been meaning to review this place for a while. So they have endless sushi and other food, but they also have a regular menu. The food was delicious overall and the service was great, but there are a few caveats you should be aware of before coming here.
Firstly, if one person at the table gets a buffet, everyone else at the table HAS TO get a buffet. Already it shows you they don't trust you as a customer. Then, any food that you don't finish eating you have to pay extra for. I'm assuming that's even if you end up not liking the taste of it, so unless you want to pay extra I'd be conservative about trying new things here. One more thing is that the ice cream was absolutely delicious but they have a strict limit of one scoop per buffet. I understand the reason for these caveats because they are intended to make the product cheaper for everyone, but at the end of the day it makes the experience feel much more tense and transactional than it would be otherwise because you have to think about what you would or could actually eat.

All around good food for good price. This place gets busy pretty quickly. A few things to note: It does get busy. The staff are pretty nice. If you are a sushi connoisseur, this place may not be for you as you can tell the difference between grade A sushi and others. The sushi is good it's just not grade A. The price is very reasonable for what you get. It's great for groups and family as well.
DJ Martinez
Lunch is a good deal, if you beat the crowds. The way they executed the all-you-can-eat sushi idea is interesting. But this isn't even close to being in my top 5 sushi places in town. The sushi is mediocre at best, definitely quantity over quality.
If you just want to shove lots of sushi in your mouth, definitely go here. If you want something a bit tastier, go elsewhere.
Daniel Pineiro
Koizi is a nice restaurant in New Tampa. It is super busy, especially during peak hours! Expect to wait during these times. The food was most excellent & service was fairly good. Beware, because their business model is a an "all you can eat buffet," they charge you extra for food you do not eat. As long as you keep this in mind when ordering you will have a delightful time.
Serita
Discovered this place on a first date. Really nice place. All you can eat hibachi and sushi for a very reasonable price.
The reason for the 3 stars is because of the service. The last 3 times I have come here the service was horrible. I waited over 30 min for a sushi roll on one of my visits and had to flag my waitress down. She would look at me and keep going when I tried to flag her down. Finally after getting a manager involved I was able to get my sushi roll that she never ordered for me. When she finally came to the table, she tried to say that the order was given to another table, contradicting what the manager told me.
For today's visit, I received my entire order 5 min after ordering while it took 15 min just for my boyfriend to get his soup. After another 10 min, the server finally brought over his order but with no rice. We brought it to her attention and he tried to wait to eat his meal with the rice. In the mean time, she was collecting and counting her tips from the tables around us. He finally got too hungry and went ahead and ate the food without the rice. She returned to the table and asked if everything was ok, not even remembering the rice so i said "you can forget about the rice" because he was already almost done with the chicken. At this point I was very annoyed that they would bring all of my food while he had to wait to eat pieces of his incomplete meal. When she brought the check she brought the bowl of rice and proceeded to tell us how they were so busy, even though most of her other tables had already left within 10 min of us sitting down.
Like I said, great concept, food, and prices. Just need better servers and service.
Aprile Snyder
One of our family fave place to go. Usually a 30 minute wait to be seated but still worth it. All-u-can-eat sushi + they bring plate after plate to table, not a buffet. Please tip well. They really do hustle all day.
Tia Robbins
Food was good, well presented. But everyone at the table has to get the same deal (Al la carte or unlimited bar, etc) That they would be SO concerned with the potential for sharing is odd. I believe most people would comply with the rules, but maybe I'm wrong. Our waiter Ryan was a GREAT sport! We had a bit of fun with him and he went right along with it...so it was a really good time! I will return there.
Megan Cox
Food was great we had an amazing server named Jeff. It's hard when you have kids and this place made it so easy! My sister and I had 4 and the service and food was great no stares everyone was busy eating. Will definitely be back!
nishant narula
We went for an endless lunch on Saturday. The koizi restaurant was a nice restaurant. We were given a seat in the restaurant as soon as we reached. For starters we ordered Miso Soup and then we ordered Sesame Ball, Dancing Krab Roll, California Roll, Vegetable Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Tempura Roll and Koizi Roll. We loved each and every roll. The best among were Dancing Krab Roll and Koizi Roll. This restaurant has amazing sushi rolls and service is also fast. Covid-19 guidelines were followed and everything was safe. We loved the food.
Mike Graves
The service was very slow had to call our server if we wanted something to come over once you give them your order food arrived late and would be cold The Waitresses were polite but for an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant the service but yes unacceptable this was my first experience at this restaurant that my friends had brought me to I would not disregard going there again I will definitely try it one more time to see if it was just a one-time thing I will give another chance before I write it off and not go back maybe it was just a bad night we will see

I had to Change my review as my experiences did not meet expectation of the service that I'm use to receiving. Our waitress brought out more food than we ordered for staters. Their policy is if you waist food they charge you for it.
Our family ordered the hibachi table, but planed to pay on separate tickets. We each had two or three duplicates of small toppas of what we ordered. For example I ordered two orders of egg rolls, 3 comes on a plate. I got 9.
This happened to everyone in our party with their orders, So when the hibachi meal was cooked no one could finish their meal. We'd been here numerous times and it was a favorite place to dine, until the bill came. We were each charged a healthy fee for gratuity and the uneaten food. We were told by the manager that since we knew one another they charged us accordingly, being a large group.
Our family had arranged a healthy tip for our server, but with the cost and weird service we tipped with discretion. My family isn't sure if we want to go back ever. The food is great, but service needs understand that you do not force tips from your customer by creating a situation of waisted food and other tactics.

I went once about 2-3 years ago (before they expanded) and I had such a bad experience that I swore I'd never be back. I was convinced to go again and was not disappointed. In fact, Koizi has become a family staple for lunch on the weekends. We usually get there right at 12 and there's no wait, the staff is very friendly and fast, and the food is good. We never have an issue with the service or food, but then again, we know exactly what we want as soon as we sit down. We brought my very picky parents for lunch on a Sunday recently and they loved it. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Blake Bass
Koizi is awesome. Especially this location. Great deals on sushi and delicious food. Must visit if you've never been.

My boyfriend and I love this place! The food is always so delicious! The first time we went, we were a little concern about having surcharges because neither of us originally liked sushi...ha! Never have been surcharged and have come back many times because we like almost everything that we have tried. Only one item out of the 18 items that we have tried was bad in our opinions. We did not like the tempura roll. I think this is the one that was deep fried. My favorites are definitely Mt. Fuji, Rainbow Roll, and California roll. I could eat those all day long if I didn't eventually get full. :)
Marah Cohen
This was so good! I couldn't complain about anything. It was so delicious and endless sushi and hibachi it so true. My family ate till we couldn't anymore. The price was great too!
TAUSIF AHMED
Great place to get sushi 🍣 for a very cheap price. The price you cannot beat; especially, the lunch time price. I don’t like the presentation they have now because of the Covid regulations; otherwise, it is a great buffet place. …
Cesar Pacheco
Great food. Service was slow getting started but once it did start your food comes out quickly and fresh. The reason for the 3 is because we did not get our entree for about a half hour and we were dining with our toddlers. However the way it was taken care of was very professional and I appreciate that I don't expect a free meal so we paid half the bill and the manager and waiter was very apologetic. Hostess seemed like she was having a bad day. They also do live hibachi

Sushi restaurant. Sushi restaurants are is my favorite food in the world but I have never found a good tasting Sushi restaurant all would just be bad or WAY to expensive only for 5 I'm talking to you koby sorry if i spelled it wrong and it was 15 DOLLARS FOR 5 SUSHIS!! I thought that was so wrong so I recommend going to Koizi It is a Sushi restaurant and very cheap BUT! Has very good food My favorite is the rainbow roll I just like that's it's cold and the taste. If you were to order 10 Sushis and your avoid it would be like 6 dollars but if your ten or over you have to pay 12 something but Overall the food is good there is a chef that cooks infront of you, amazing food and cool fire. Once again very recommend to go here to eat.

Me and my husband’s family went here during Valentine’s Day and the place is so packed that they told us that the waiting time is about 15-30 mins but to our surprised it really didn’t take that long. The sushi were so good and they have nice service as well. My husband loves how they made the steak for the hibachi together with the shrimp. This is our favorite Japanese restaurant from now on lol.
Joelle Stewart
My husband and I have been here a few times. Sushi is consistent and pretty good. No complaints there. Hibachi is pretty good as well. It's a good place to get your sushi fix. You'll pay about $20 per adult for the endless option.
Dana Julick
Went to lunch here Sunday 10/18, food was decent , have to pay the dinner price during the weekends even for lunch $18.95 not including soft drinks , okay that’s to be expected.
What bothered me about this place is the waste , everything comes on styrofoam , plastic utensils, cups are styrofoam, they even use soy sauce packets . This makes no sense due to Covid because the servers do not even wear gloves so it’s not due to being “overly cautious” , it’s purely waste.
The service was great , and I would go again after I see reviews about them using less waste.

I'm still full! Vegetarians can get a lot here, but more recommended for meat eaters. Grilled tofu is delicious but order it early because it takes about 20 min. A little spicy but not overwhelming. For an extra $1 you can get sushi rolls "tempura" aka fried which is SO good. Ok, now I'm going back for dinner after thinking about their food!
Kaitlyn Gill
The food is not the same quality as it used to be and everything is on styrofoam now which is super wasteful. But our server Jeff C made the night worth it. Definitely would go back just to hear Jeff sing and dance around the restaurant again
Elizabeth Ferreira
This is ideal cheap sushi at its best. I’ve been a few times during COVID and it has been a true delight. I’m very pretentious when it comes to sushi. This place does not fill that spot. Instead, it fills the spot in my heart of great tasting California Rolls and anything else filled with cream cheese, imitation krab, or avocado. This place is very down to earth. Every meal I’ve had there has been bursting with flavor. It’s just great cheap sushi. I don’t know what else to sell you on.
AJ Jones
The live hibachi chefs are back! The sushi is still really good and extremely fresh. 10/10. I hope they open a location in Westchase in the future.
Ron Smith
We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was busy while other restaurants in the same plaza were slow (something to be said about that). This was our first visit here and we had the unlimited hibachi/sushi.
I'm not a sushi person, but my wife is and she said it was great.
We had the crab rangoon as an appetizer and it was great. Followed by steak and chicken hibachi. All of the food was great.
We've eaten at many hibachi places and I can say this was the best I've had. We'll definitely be returning.
Zima22
The endless lunch buffet is worth every penny. It does get crowded around 12 PM and the wait time can range from 15 - 30 mins. They serve sushi an hibachi. If you do not finish your sushi you are charged 50 cents for every roll you don't eat due to people over ordering. The staff is nice and the food is served pretty quickly.
David Lewis
It was good, lots of different sushi rolls to choose from an Hibachi also. All u care to eat for 1 price an in my opinion it's more suited for lunch rather than dinner price wise vs. How much u actually eat. Would eat there again though but it would be for lunch!!!
chloe morgan
As a vegetarian sushi lover, this place is my absolute favorite. I usually get 2 sweet potato rolls and an avocado roll for only like $10. Personally I think paying $20 for the buffet is a bit of a waste for me, considering the rolls I get are only like $3 each. But since many of the other fancier rolls with fish are around $9-$12 I can see where the buffet option comes in handy. The lunch deal is also a huge benefit, $10 buffet until 3pm. The sushi is pretty good and if you don't like it you can always send it back. I'm obsessed with this place and if I could I would go multiple times a week. Definitely try this place out!
Sebastian Koscso
If this picture doesn’t show you the amount of satisfaction we received after enter Koizi then I’m not sure what to tell you. Me and my friend Mike Lucente had what was arguably the best sushi ever
Kari Schultz
Great food for being an all you can eat buffet style, bit of course not as good as a regular resteraunt. Order what you want and food is brought to you rather than browsing food that has been left out, so everything is fresh! They are generally pretty quick to being your order, particularly sushi.
A little more than a usual buffet but come hungry and you will get your money's worth.
Juan Carlos Garcia
I heard lots of people talking about this place, so we gave it a try. I've tried almost every sushi place in town, from south Tampa to New Tampa and I can tell you, the sushi IS NOT THE BEST, sorry is not. Its loaded with more rice than anything else and the flavor is not so amazing. The beef and rice is good. The place is too dark, I dont like the fact, that I can not see if the place is dirty or I can not catch a possible hair or something since, it's very dark in there. My favorite spot will continue to be Shogun.
Layla Turner
I only gave this place three stars because of the extremely rude manager. The food was great, our waitress (Anastasia, I think was her name) was super sweet and took care of us perfectly. Our only issue was we had a problem with part of our bill and when it got directed to the manager she was a complete you know what to the waitress. Left us feeling really bad for the girl. Very unprofessional behavior.
Tamika Hawkins
The food is good but they charge you if you don't finish your food. The waittress didnt tell us, gladly I read it in the menu. $.50 for each sushi piece you leave on your plate and $2 or more for a good portion of other food you leave. That's subjective and they could charge you what they want. I didn't like this method of keeping the prices down.
Jared Gradiz
Great price for lunch. Place was pretty packed for mid afternoon lunch so it shows how highly people think of it. Not a big fan of waiting 45 mins to seat a group of 5. Food was good. It came quick. Nothing that will blow you away but it's good in quality and taste. Not a great beer selection. Overall server was good. If you live in the area, it's a great place. I recommend it. If you're like me and coming from st.pete, i would say it's not worth the long trip.
Guillermo L
Ok, let's first start out with the service. Amazing! Best team of waiters and waitresses I have ever seen! Everyone seemed active, worked well and got the job done. Ok, now for the food part (which is what it usually always comes down too). So I came down to this place with the family for lunch and for a 10$ all you can eat hibachi food it is totally worth it! The food wasn't top of the line, but for the price it was worth it. The sushi was decent and the food came out relatively fast. The atmosphere definitely brought out the food and we all had an enjoyable time.

While the Styrofoam was something I didn't like, the pricess and the food was great. Our server, Amy, was especial helpful and kind.

The food is good and the prices are great. I usually don't like buffets because I think people touching everything is gross but this place serves you the food at your table. It's pretty amazing. Gives you the feel that your eating somewhere fancy for a reasonable price!
Miguel Valdes Novoa
It was very nice to go in and sit down. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. The new menu added more variety of dishes. However, I would like to ask to bring back the coconut chicken, it was truly the best.
Steven Falkowitz
We go here regularly, as my family enjoys the unlimited aspect of the food served. I usually order the Philadelphia roll sushi, multiple times. Note though that the restaurant charges you for the uneaten sushi left on your plate. That has never happened, though, in my case.
LEM -LoLo
Excellent food, ok prices, poor service. We have been there more than five times since it opened. At first, all were excellent but as the newness wears off so does the service. In the last month they have increased the prices as well as add an $0.85 fee for every piece of sushi you leave on the plate, though you cannot take it home with you. I understand they have to make money, but they really should let people take their leftovers.
We were in the beginning of February and we were having a nice dinner with a few other guests at one of the hibachi tables. Apparently one family didn't enjoy their service, because our waiter went out of his way to SCREAM at them for not leaving a tip, across the entire restaurant of people. Totally unprofessional.
However, the sushi is among the top I've had in Tampa. Try the dancing krab roll and get the all you can eat for 17.95 it's worth it...be prepared to eat A LOT.
Rahul Agarwal
This place is amazing. Make sure to go early lunch. Any other time you will wait a long time. This place is a favorite of many people because it is all you can eat hibachi and sushi! The quality is better than most buffets (still not high quality, which is why I did 4 instead of 5 stars) and the servers are very nice.
Kristen Arnold
Fantastic sushi! The dancing crab roll is my favorite and the hibachi is decent. Service is a little slow but that's because they are always busy. Its definitely a good place to try if your a sushi lover!
Mary R
Great value for the price. Great sushi for an endless establishment!
Really enjoy all of their rolls. Service is always very fast and courteous as well
Niah Stone
TOO DARK. Everything is usually great. The food is always good. The service tends to be on the better side besides some lone servers here and there that aren’t the best. The reason this is three stars is because every time I go it’s darker and darker. The last time I went it was almost pitch black. I don’t know why they don’t want to you to be able to see what your eating. We asked the waiters why it’s so dark and they just shrugged and kept on. When you ask about making it a bit brighter so you can see manager makes it seem like S/he incapable of turning on the lights. You’re left assuming that what you’re given is right
Clifton Johnson
If you like hibachi and you don't care if they actually cook in front of you this place is fantastic. The price cannot be beat and the quality is as good as any Kobe or Benihana at a fraction of the price and all you can eat. If you haven't been here before they offer an all you can eat hibachi and sushi lunch for under $12. Beware to keep prices low there is a surcharge for waste so don't order more than your fair share. Because of the all you can eat model there is no delicious leftovers to take home. I will definitely eat here again everytime I'm in the Tampa area.
Todd Crouse
Everything was absolutely phenomenal!! Came with my 3 good friends and we had an amazing time!!!!! Definitely recommend the rock and roll roll.
S Ahrens
We like the sushi at Koizi.
It's a pretty good value. We like this better than the Asian buffets everywhere.
Also like that we can get hibachi food too. And all for one price.
Restaurant is clean. Typically crowded and sometimes a short wait.
We have always had g ood experiences here.
David Massey
Sushi was good and $15 for all you can eat Sunday is a very reasonable price.
They were out of Miso Soup, and while Hibachi was included for the $15, I ordered a NY Strip steak, they didn't ask the temperature and what I got was not a steak, it was a few tiny chunks of meat.
Still, good deal for the money.
Chi
Loved it, it was my first time and at first I didn't like the thought of everyone ordering all you can eat. But it was actually helpful, we all ordered something for ourselves and then some things as a group. As a person who doesn't really eat sushi, it was great especially the Hokkaido Roll (it was my favorite), also the Chicken and shrimp hibachi is fantastic. I learned alot and loved every second of it!
Micaela Stenson
Went here because of rave reviews. I don't get it...all the sushi rolls taste the same, its not awful. It's just kinda mediocre. Also the dining room is too dark which to me means they are hiding something about the quality of the fish. Won't be rushing back.
Naturally Nei
Always a good time here. Best buffets is when they bring the food to you
Ryburn Obannon
Great place for endless Sushi. Better than expected for Buffet style. The food is made to order, which to me is so much better than the public digging through all the food before you get a chance at it. Will most definitely do lunch there again soon.
Michelle Walker
We sat at the hibachi grill for lunch. Took only 5 minutes to get seated. It was a 30 minute wait for a regular table. The entire party was required to eat hibachi at the grill but the entire menu was available. Service was quick and we never had to wait longer than 4 to 5 minutes for our orders. Our party of 4 had dumplings, spring rolls, spicy tuna rolls, General Tsao chicken, hibachi, and ice cream. All for only $10 per person! Food was hot and fresh. Bill out the door was $46 with tax because we drank a couple a beers.
Nawaher Taha
I went in with my family one time and I asked the hostess for a high chair and she replied very rudely with a "whaaaatt? " I had to tell her again. The sushi is always amazing at a good price and always fresh but the service is so-so. Sometimes we get a nice waiter but others don't seem to care. The entrees take a long time to come out.
David Josupait
Food was pretty good. Lights are a little dark but not to bad. Food gets out pretty fast. Had a great time. Ps not to many drinking options.

We love it here go all the time. The last experience no so good. The waitress was rude boderline racist. As soon as she seen we were a young black couple with are to kids she assumed we weren't good tippers till the other waitress told her that she loves us and we are great customer but it was to late i still tipped her just to show her don't judge a book by it's cover
John Sobczak
They have the best sushi rolls in New Tampa and you can't beat the price. I take my teenage son and he just eats the rolls, no hibachi. They bring it out unlimited and eats probably 6 or more plates. It only costs $14.95 for what would be at least $40 at a regular sushi restaurant. There are always a bunch of college guys doing the same thing so not sure how they make any money but however they are doing it keep up the good work!
Sabrina McIntyre
I’m very much into Japanese, Chinese, and Asian food and I promise you this is the most affordable and tasty sushi and hibachi I’ve ever had. I went soo much it was to the point where I was a regular. Anna, my favorite waitress there was so attentive and kind as well! I highly recommend this place and will be back soon.
Brian Breeding
It is the McDonald’s of sushi. It’s good but it’s definitely nothing special. With the all you can eat, you are basically eating rice. The fish is sliced paper thin! Literally! When you get rolls the majority of it is rice, flavored sauces and paste and very very little fish. Of course I try to just get sushimi but you are only allowed 3 orders total per person. Each order is only 2 small pieces. For the price it’s good if you like hibachi or rolls but if you really want the fish your kinda screwed. Honestly Publix sushi tastes better. It’s better than a sushi buffet that other people can touch, but not as good as the smaller unknown sushi restaurants. You get what you pay for. A LOT OF RICE
Matthew Saunders
Best place for eating too much sushi. Their hibachi is wonderful if you sit at the hibachi tables, slightly less good if you sit at in the dining area. Sushi is great all around though, and is the reason I go there.
The only thing I can complain about is how dim the lighting can be sometimes. The bathrooms get the worst of it, it's almost too dark to see in the stall. In the dining area it comes off as part of the ambiance, so it isn't too bad.
Shellie Black
We didn't sit at the hibachi tables because the wait was too long. which was a bummer.
The steak bites were much tougher than they should have been, especially for Filet Mignon. One of the pieces I couldn't even eat at all.
When we told the waitress this, she said we should have ordered them medium rare as that happens a lot...but she never gave us the option to choose the temperature upon ordering. She also didn't offer to fix the issue in any way.
Plus, the waitress was rushing us so much we couldn't ask all the questions we wanted to. And she wasn't really paying attention, she kept talking over my mom thinking she knew what she wanted instead of listening to her.
I had ordered more food, but we were all done eating everything and it still hadn't arrived...even though I'd reminded the waitress about it already. So I ended up cancelling it.
Other then the steak, the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The gyoza was delicious and my dad really enjoyed all of the sushi he got. My mom would have enjoyed her's more if she'd gotten what she wanted instead of what the waitress thought she wanted. Most of the issues were our waitress, so we'd most likely give it another chance but just avoid her section.
Jean Pierre Rullier
For the price of ten bucks you can get endless hibachi or sushi for lunch. I come for the sushi! I usually come with my friends to hangout and we usually stay there for about an hour. Great staff, always nice every time I went. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
John Bussell
July 22 2014. Don't listen to the haters. As a local I love going here. The place gets crowded quick. It opens at 1130 on Saturdays and there is already a line at the door. Its that good. If you love sushi then you must go here. What's not to love, endless sushi, hibachi, and sides...people saying 30 to 45 min wait...yeah if you get there late. And when you sit down the sushi comes out super fast. Don't order 1 roll at a time get 3 or 4 and when you're low order more. Definitely order hibachi first as this does take some time to cook, but you have sushi in the mean time so no need to complain. The dancing crab roll is by far my favorite. But don't be afraid to try them all. The gioza is also great. I usually eat about 6. Anyhow if you're reading my review then you'll know the truth about this place. Don't rate it low because you show up when it's packed. GET THERE EARLY.

This place is lovely! It's a great price for all you can eat! It's always busy for a great reason. The food is delicious, and fresh and the staff are so friendly! I cannot wait to go back!

I used to give Koizi a 5-star rating, but lately there seems to be problems.
The sushi is always good, But some of the other dishes have decreased in quality. The General Tso's chicken has had tough chicken pieces. My son ordered the cheese sticks and when he broke them open there was no cheese left inside!
The wait staff has been forgetting orders and not refilling drinks.
Koizi is still a nice place to go, just don't go if you are in a hurry. And o would suggest if you know in advance you will be going, make a reservation the day before.

Lunch is awesome but usually very busy get there before they open if you don't want to wait a while. On weekend definitely get there early and wait for them to open. Nice waiters and waitresses the make sure your soda or tea is endless as well. I recommend this place for a nice date lunch or dinner. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really good food, super nice service every time we've been. Sometimes a long wait, so a reservation is recommended, especially for weekends. All in all one of my favorite places to eat out.
Ashley Moravy
Best endless sushi buffet in town. Decent price, and the sushi rice is even still warm as it hits your table. I've been to plenty of hibachi and sushi buffets, and this tops them all. There's a reason why there is always a wait on the weekends!
Vincent Estrada
I've been to the Koizi in Brandon before and the New Tampa one is just as good. The food comes out relatively quick and the service was good. But I visited right when it opened on Monday at 11:30am so I don't know if it's a slower service later in the day.
Lisa Trossarello
Extremely dark interior. What are they hiding? Sushi was okay. Great deal for the price; $18.95 all you can eat? Yup. Wait staff was super quick and attentive.
Crystal Porter
Food is good. Service was great. Atmosphere is shabby.
Daniel Amic
The food is good and the staff friendly enough. I went there for lunch and my only complaint is that the food portions are fairly small. An appetizer is literally 2 small bites. You are also surcharged if you do not finish your plate, which I don't see being an issue.
Jason Babb
Pretty good place. Good deals with all you can eat sushi. Good service. Very dark, so if you have a hard time seeing it is very dim lighting. Menu is also good. Wish they had more of a selection though. Good place for families or a good date night.

The endless Sushi and Hibachi option is really the only way to go here. The hibachi food is absolutely excellent, and the sushi is great. Service is unbelievably fast. Are food showed up just a couple of minutes after we ordered, the sushi was almost within a minute sometimes. Plus, I don't know any place else where you can get that amount of food for that amount of money.
Audrey Hollensbe
Food and service were excellent. They said it would be a 10-15 min wait and we were seated in less than 5. Our server was friendly and helpful. Definitely going back when I'm in town next! Oh and the price was unbeatable.

My girlfriend and I have been going to this restaurant for 2 years now and we absolutely love it. We have always have stellar service. One time we accidentally left a 50 with our waiter and he was honest and returned it to me when I went back. The food is always perfect and we love the atmosphere. Favorite sushi restaurant by far
Vplan0019
Cheap price for a all you can eat, and the quality of foods are the same level if the price. Hibachi will be a better choice as it's hot food. I think sushi are not fresh so I don't suggest you try any sushi with raw fish. The dark lights in restaurant probably because of the color of unfresh fish is eay to be told. Try hot foods, these hot foods are tasty.

Decent food, sushi and appetizers were delivered quickly. The entrees took a long time to arrive and the steak was way over done. Overall, if you're really hungry or just want to try a little of everything this is a good place to do it.
Faye McKeown
First time there. Nice for lunch. Not crowded. Clean. Hibachi grill well done. Anything other than grill is add on price such as noodles, sushi, soup. Is you order and dont finish they started they add a waste cost to the bill. Still would return. Plenty of good food.
Jeremy Kimball
Great food I was more than a little sceptical about going to an all you can eat sushi place because of my concern about the freshness but when I saw how busy they were it put my mind at ease. Food was great and so were the mixed beverages and service. I'm returning again in the next week or so and bringing some friends.
Tiffany K
This was my 1st time at the establishment. We went for lunch and the food was awesome. I would definitely go again for the food. The only caveat was the service, the waitress and an older women bringing the food to the table were rude and had attitudes. I would have given the restaurant 5*s if the service was decent.
Casey Bauer
Seems like there still a little new, staff still learning menu, I went to the old one in new Tampa before so it wasn't a problem for me. If you want all you can eat sushi for a fair price this is the place. To stay on budget don't order soda cause they do charge for refills
Bill Gombita
The way to go is to have your whole table buy into the Endless Sushi plan. Order appetizers, soup, salad, sushi rolls, hibachi grill items all for $17.99. Great deal. Really good, friendly service.
Yun J.
I can't give an Excellent score, or even Very Good at that since lunch took THREE hours! Beware of the waitress that serves you, your quality of service received from them will be based on that. Be wary of a Caucasian waitress who seemed to be pregnant, her services are mediocre at best; I highly regret giving her 25% tip on my first trip. They also just recently changed a ruling on Sunday's 15$ brunch menu by removing the availability of sashimi; if you want it its an extra 75cents an order. (2 pieces)

Great variety of sushi and habachi. A little expensive to be honest. But customer service is great. It's always crowded around dinner time so be sure to get there early. It is hard to get a habachi table from my experience. But the food is good and I'm always left with an extremely full stomach.
Jake Brown
Always good! The Mt Fuji roll is my favorite. I always get a side of yum yum sauce to dip it in too. Although I think I could dip literally anything in yum yum sauce.
Not top quality sushi or hibachi, but you get A LOT of decent food for the price, which makes it absolutely worth it.

Went here a few moths ago with the advice of a friend and absolutely loved it. Service was great and so was the sushi. I did not try anything else but I am going back today and taking my wife. I will try the hibachi as well today. Another review will be posted after this visit to see if my experience has changed for better or worse.

Pretty good deal for the price. All you can eat hibachi and sushi! Busy place
Alycia Jarrell
Not only is the food and service great i have to give our server props. My wife is male to female trans. She was not dressed that way because shes not fully out of the closet. We however used her proper pronouns while ordering. Lucy (our server) didn't miss a beat and continued to use her proper prpnouns the entire time we were there. It made my wife and I so happy. Thank you Lucy and thank you Koizi
Roy
Absolutely delicious food. It is an all you can eat place, however, you order each thing you want instead of lining up at a buffet. They have a huge variety of sushi and excellent steak and chicken options if you're not into seafood (I'm not). The main problem is the parking - if you go there at ANY peak time, you will be lucky to find a parking spot behind the building, and may have to circle around a few times to find a spot.
Mariam A
They’re using plastic everything now and I don’t like it at all. Really takes away from restaurant dining experience! The sushi is still good though!
Adeeb Saleh
Food is OK. Yes it's all you can eat but not the highest of quality. If you are hungry and on a budget, this is your spot. If you just hit the gym and need a ton of cheap protein, this is your spot. Otherwise, you will get better Japanese food at placed like Kobe.
Christian Gonzalez (Chris)
Definitely enjoy the food and setup. How do you knock fresh all you can eat sushi and hibachi? Although the lighting in the normal dining area needs some work. Food is even better when you can see what color it is
Alex Diaz
The staff was very helpful, we got our food pretty quick considering it was packed the day we went. The selection of rolls is very diverse so there's something for everyone in the menu, and it being endless is just the icing on the cake. I am definitely coming back again
Jessica Loree
Food was amazing, server was nice, but the service was so slow, with several missed dishes, and reminders that we never got XYZ. Over two hours later we left without ordering dessert.
t mathews
Awesome place! Awesome concept. Our service was very good and we had a good experience. Not your average Japanese steakhouse as the concept here is all you can eat. They bring one entree at a time until you say stop.
Ye Yen
Place was packed when we got there. Had to wait for 45 mins to get seated. I recommend getting a reservation a day before. Price was almost $11 for lunch buffet. Sushi was not so delicious, just okay. Disappointed with their hibachi. Service was okay, not so fast though. Had to wait long. Limited selection of desserts too only ice cream. Ice cream was just meh.
Scott Cornett
Their sushi is ALWAYS made fresh. Their Coconut Chicken entree has VERY light and crispy breading, and the sauce was very good!😋 Come hungry to get your money's worth, and get there right when they open so you get a seat right away, as the place fills up fast! …

Came here for my birthday. Absolutely amazing sushinand their crab Rangoon was the best I've ever hadm price was fantastic too.
Nick Veneris
These endless American Asian resturants are beloved in suburbia. I just don't understand it. The food is very basic and honestly not as good as some chinese takeout establishments. However, they do serve pretty good sushi. That's the only reason to go here. During my visit the floor was littered with trash and almost caused us to leave immediately. I think you can spend $17 a plate on better cuisine in Tampa. There's nothing special here.

The sushi was pretty enjoyable, I just wish they offered smoked salmon. The sweet and sour chicken is just so-so. It was more tasteless tempura than chicken, with a small side of sweet and sour sauce. The mango chicken was much more flavorful, but has a spicy undertone. Green tea ice cream was pleasantly mild and served as a relaxing dessert to end the night.
Carlos Ortiz
All you can eat sushi rolls! 😋
It seems between 1/2 ~ 2/3 of their rolls are tasty with about the final 1/3 being a bit dry, though they do offer you free extra sauce.
Well priced food, nice environment, fun hibachi. I really like this place.
Carolin Colon
A favorire in the area because it offers an all you can eat, a la carte, sushi option. But the all you can eat rolls are obviously not of best quality. Quite frankly, I love sushi but would rather eat fresh high grade sushi rolls for a little more money. The main problem with this concept is that, if you go for the all you can eat option, you want to order everything that sounds good on the menu, but they will charge you extra for every piece of sushi you don't finish. I thought that was cool until we didn't know what to do with the leftovers and ended up challenging one another to finish the rolls. At the end of the day you end up paying more for less. I recommend to college kids who can eat a lot. Otherwise, just order from the regular menu.
Janet Gonzalez
Great restaurant I went there for my fist time with my daughter and son we experience the hibachi and their sushi. I will definitely go back. Great food , Excellent staff.
Genevieve K
Amazing food, whether you choose Hibachi cooking tables or regular tables. Portions on the Hibachi tables are enormous, yet portions at regular tables are very small (almost like tapas). Endless food, great quality. Lighting at the restaurant is very poor... you have to squint to see what you are eating!
J. Benzaia
Ooh man, let me tell you about this gem. First of all depending on when you arrive there might be a wait. Super popular all you can eat joint. Once you're inside staff is pretty alright nothing spectacular but more importantly nothing bad about them. When it comes to the food, the portions are really reasonable considering it's an all you can joint. Word of advice. The Snow Mountain is just a sushi mountain of MAYO. I mean you can get it if you're into that kinda stuff.
Raymond N
I wish I lived near Tampa. I would come here more often. All you can eat sushi. Sushi is fresh. Hibachi is all you can eat too. Nice.
Only issue I ever see when I come is they seem to be always short staffed. Maybe a management issue.
Peter Ngo
Service was fast and on point. The dancing crab, koizi roll and shrimp tempura roll are my main go to's. The hibachi orders are decent. I love coming here whenever I have a craving for sushi.
Richard Molina
1st visit to Koizi, not impressed got seated quickly but, couldn't sit at a booth because apparently those are reserved for employees playing on thier phones and break time, seemed a bit weird. Our server was nice but couldn't be bothered to tell me anything about how this place worked besides the "surcharges" or how the menu worked, good thing my GF was there she gave me the run down. Maybe I'm a weird northerner but never seen a place charge u xtra if u dont finish all ur food, I dunno.
But the food was on the cusp of ok and please take this away, steak was a bit tough the sauce they put in it was VERY salty and all of it was a bit cold including the chicken. Had a Califonia roll tasted like it had been made the day before I'm sure it was in fact, dancing dragon, thumbs down.
Mediocre at best for the money, I won't be going back nothing memorable about this place Oh, don't forget a sweater it gets very cold in the dinning room and a flashlight for the restrooms, thier extraordinarily dark.
