Came down for the day and we wanted some good seafood. This is definitely a place to come back to. Parking is in the back, and if you don’t slow down, you will most likely have to do a u turn. Well worth it! The owner is very nice and his cooking is awesome! Food is DELICIOUS and of course FRESH!

The best fish in Florida!!! I was looking for a good fish restaurant and I read the good reviews about this small and local seafood shop/restaurant. The fish is really fresh and yummy. We tried the ceviche made with grouper and it was excellent. Then, our entrees were the catch of the day: red snapper and black gulf grouper. They were exquisite. Once you eat here, you will come back. Lot of people came to the place only to buy fresh seafood.

Hot day, hungry but not terribly, and interested in this new place. Glad I stopped! Fresh ceviche was truly refreshing! Served with plantain chips. I’m used to fresh ceviche from Mexican/San Diego friends, but while this was great it was all citrus and fish pieces, not spicy hot like I expected, and I also am used to more variety of seafood in the dish. Will definitely return again… easy parking, fun decor, quality food.

We had the New England clam chowder (very watery and not like a traditional), Ceviche and the oysters. The seafood was very fresh but not what were are used to. The Ceviche had a tomato base. Tasted like a capaccio. Would return to try other plates since the restaurant is very quaint and the seafood was very fresh.

Howie has THE BEST seafood around, not just the usual suspects, but the stuff you can't find anywhere else. Triple Tail, check. Opah, check - plus the fresh oysters he gets are the creme of the crop. Whether you have Howie and Juan make something for you while you wait, or you take the seafood home to cook on your own, you will not be disappointed.

I just got some poke bowls to go, but they were delicious! The fish and octopus is fresh and they don't skimp on giving you plenty of it!! Building your own poke is a great deal too! Lots of options for toppings, the citrus vinaigrette dressing is delicious! Def recommend this place. Employee was super friendly and chatty. The place seems great for dining in, but it is a bit on the small side-but nice chill vibe

My husband I went to Heights Seafood Co for the first time this evening. We had an amazing dining experience in a laid back cool environment. The owner, Howie, is such a nice man with a dynamite personality. We had a dozen raw oysters, they were superb, very fresh and impeccably clean. They were the perfect balance of briney and delicate. We also had the grouper bites, Asian seared octopus, and a half a lb of peel and eat shrimp. All of the dishes were delectable, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We will be returning to this spot regularly.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Pros: We ordered the Grouper Bites and Tacos. The fish was very fresh, both dishes were delicious. The owner/staff was very friendly and personable. The place was very clean. Cons: The online menu was more extensive than the options we had in the physical store. My spouse was concerned about the cleanliness of the food prep since the owner/chef did not use gloves nor wash his hands consistently. He touched the raw materials and prepared the food without proper hand hygiene. She only ate the Grouper Bites since it was fresh out of the frying pan and was concerned about how the Tacos were prepped. I definitely would come back but I am not sure my spouse will.

My wife has been stopping here to get their fish dips & they are amazing! But yesterday we went and picked out some Scottish salmon they had and some cedar planks to use on the Green Egg. It was life changing! The fresh fish was perfect on the grill! Friendly staff is always the only way to get five stars from this guy. We will definitely be back soon!

We ended up here because my friend posted about their oyster tasting the day before, and it was a really good find. We had the oysters, grouper sandwich, grouper bites, and conch fritters. My favorite was probably the grouper because it tasted super fresh. The owner was super friendly and attentive, and made sure we were happy with our food. I think it would be a good idea to have some lunch/lighter fare options and mignonette sauce with the oysters.

This was a phenomenal seafood experience, small cafe experience with BIG flavor. The owner/operator Howie was nicest and smartest seafood guy. Had a salmon Poke bowl and some conch fritters. Howie also sampled some of his smoked salmon and salmon jerky. Everything was beyond fresh and well prepared. Definitely tops on my "best of Tampa" list after the first time. Don't miss out on this gem!

Unbelievable! So fresh and tasty you will be thrilled with anything on this amazing menu.Howie is so welcoming and created a beautiful poke salmon bowl like no other, the conch fritters from his receipes from his native St Croix were out of this world, my husband a fried grouper connasauar loved his sandwich. This place is awesome. It's a little hard to find as the storefront faces the main road and is not immediately obvious from the small parking lot. We visited on a quiet evening when only one gentleman was working behind the counter. It's a very small dining room/shop with just a handful of tables. However, he was very efficient and took our order, cooked and served it in a professional and timely manner. After we placed our order, he went to the fresh fish display case and took the fish directly and made everything to order. We had the grouper bites to start which were delicious, and for main course we had grouper sandwich and lobster roll. Both were absolutely wonderful. Highly, highly recommend.

This Friday, 7-23-21, was a long day for me. I wanted to treat myself and got myself the MOST AMAZING SALMON!! It was the best salmon I have EVER had! No joke, really, the best!! Picked up some Tuna Jerky and it is just amazing like everything I have ever eaten here! No joke, if you like seafood, this man has skills!! No photo to share since it smelled so delicious and well I just didn't have time to take one before eating;-)

I love this place! I've been here periodically since they opened and seafood is always super fresh. I've purchased tuna for sushi a few times and it melts in your mouth like butter. If you're looking for tasty seafood in Seminole Heights definitely stop in and give it a try, your tummy will thank you.

All I've got to say is wooooow. Absolutely fantastic, so happy a friend of mine introduced me to Heights Seafood Co. The food is so fresh, I can not emphasize this enough. It's like they've got a fishing boat out back with a hidden oasis where only the tastiest morsel of seafood are lurking about. I opted for a poke bowl and was in awe of the selection for toppings as well as the quality. I'm dreaming about my lunch tonight, thanks so much for the experience.

Seafood is fresh and high quality with an Asian flair. Crawfish and pork sausage is made in-house and is an absolute MUST. Do not leave this place without ordering at least one. Grouper bites are light and crispy, not heavy and oily like at some other places in the area. This place is a hidden gem.

What an amazing addition to the neighborhood! My wife and I had the Fish ceviche and the fried Grouper Bites. The quality of the fish is clearly evident, the presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was filling. The ambiance was so clean and inviting, and the service was outstanding. It’s clear that ownership thought of everything and is now executing at a high level. We walked in after 6PM on a Wednesday and over 20 people came in after us. That’s a testament to the dedication they’ve made to the community, and the best quality fish one could source. My wife and I were so pleased with the 2 dishes we ordered, that while writing this review we just ordered a LOBSTER ROLL! It’s freaking delicious! Kudos, Heights Seafood Co! The neighborhood and the greater Tampa Bay Area is so lucky to have you around 🤙🏽

Yessssssss! This place lives up to the hype. Really great seafood. I got the Pompano fried and my husband got the Grouper fish tacos. The Pompano was the best fried fish I have ever had. Meaty and perfectly crispy and seasoned. Sorry no pictures, we were very hungry and the food smelled amazing. Thank you for a great quarantine take-out date night :)

A delightful stop. I was so glad when I discovered this place. They smoke their own fish with pecan wood on most Saturdays. Fresh seafood to go or you can eat there from their menu. I don't know if any of you remember Mullet Inn, Tampa, Florida, back in the day. I asked them to making me some smoked shrimp and I was not disappointed. So very glad that they are there.

I don't give out a lot of 5 stars but man did this place hit the mark. From the moment we stepped in the door we felt as if we were long time patrons of this establishment. We were greeted with a smile and asked if there was anything in particular we had a taste for. While we waited to decide what we wanted we were offered some smokes salmon to sample. OMG was this stuff good. We ordered conch fritters, fried shrimp, and the fried snapper sandwhich. All 3 of these were home runs. To top it off the prices were very reasonable and the portions generous. This is going to be our new go to spot after we leave Angry Chair brewing from now own as this place is amazing. Thanks for the great service and delicious food and we can't wait to revisit!

Everything I have tried here has been delicious. It's tough to find some good fresh Salmon in FL but they have had it in stock every time ive been in. I've also bought some great scallops here as well. I love that they are right in the middle of of seminole heights.they also have some incredible poke bows and fish spreads as well. I think they even do lobster tolls and bagels with lox. Again, a must if you love seafood!

Live in the Heights and was driving to St Pete for good seafood. Not anymore, have gotten shrimp and the fish dip so far. Was in today had wahoo, lobster, tuna, octopus, and more I can’t remember. This place is great, go there, buy stuff. Update 5/22/19 Went back last week got tuna and scallops. Wife loved the scallops. My tuna was so fresh I could have eaten it raw with nothing. I seared it with sesame oil and black sesame seeds. It was better than any fish from any sushi place in the area. Go here. Buy stuff. Ask the owner about what is there. This dude knows his sh**.

I forget each time I've been here to snag a picture before I scarf my poke down! So, sorry for no pic with the review, but honestly that should be a good sign! I've had the tuna poke, the octopus poke, and my wife had the salmon at our most recent trip. All three were fresh, tasted wonderful, and skillfully prepared. This place is AMAZING. Make sure you swing through and grab a poke bowl, some ceviche, or a lobster roll!

I appreciate having a the effort it takes to open a small business and I’m glad to have new concepts in the neighborhood. I don’t like to bad mouth small businesses and their people, but sometimes I feel the need to leave a review so they may address the issues. The lobster roll was hilariously small and literally hd 5 small chops of lobster on a rolled single piece of white bread. It honestly looked like something that would come off a children’s menu. Two sandwiches and hush puppies = $55. Maybe we will stop back by in the future for some fresh fish to cook up at the house but not again for the lunch menu offerings.

Order two Lobster rolls. Flavor was great with what I assume is a lemon aioli but I wouldn't suggest ordering this to go. The bun is soggy by the time you get it home even being 7 minutes away. For $20 each I would expect more than 3.5oz of lobster( Restaurant confirmed this is how much is on each roll)... Maybe I'm expecting too much based on seafood costs but as you can see from the pictures this isn't a meal-- It's a snack. I've eaten at some of the local lobster roll food trucks in town and the portions in those are extremely generous and were warranted at $18. Salmon spread is delicious and would recommend that every time.

This is a great addition to the neighborhood! They have the best local seafood available, and stock other stuff I'm always needing like frozen clams and crawfish tails. I also really like the poke bowls. I just had a spicy one with salmon and loads of tasty extras (kimchi, seaweed, bamboo chutes, water chestnuts, etc) and it was great. A delicious, hearty lunch. I like the salmon spread more than the mahi, and the "salmon candy" is a nice treat.

Ordered the conch fritters, peel and eat shrimp with Howie's homemade spices. and Fl lobster sandwich. Everything was fresh and the flavors were amazing. The fermented cabbage was awesome. Howie was great. I recommend highly and will definitely be back. The atmosphere Howie's wife has created made the lunch perfect.
