Our server, David, was a delight! He was both pleasant and extensively knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. It was definitely a unique dining experience, followed by dessert at its sister restaurant, Bern's Steakhouse. Truly a not-to-be-missed location when visiting the Tampa area. We did have a good laugh, however, about the 'valet' parking which was literally steps from the door! 😂🤣

Haven is an amazing restaurant. It's definitely for a particular person. I enjoyed all of my food and so did my husband. I'd say the drinks are more on the masculine side but were so cool. The brussel sprouts salad was literally the best salad I've ever had. Our waiter was superb and didn't miss a beat. He made the night perfect, the ambience was perfect.

Attended a bourbon event here and got the chance to meet the Master Blender for Uncle Nearest. The staff was very accommodating, from the valet, to the reception desks when we lost a cell phone. I so loved this event and Haven was a perfect spot for it as they feature over 300 bourbons to choose from. The appetizers paired nicely with the two cocktails and the tasting of 1884 and 1856.

I have been wanting to try Haven for a hot minute so I decided to stop by for my birthday dinner and it was even more incredible than I imagined it would be. We sat on the patio because we intended on getting happy hour food and drinks but after seeing the main menu and the wine selection we opted for a shared bottle and some plates. There were three of us so we split the bread and fat (not pictured), beef fat mushrooms, lamb, gochujang beef, chicken thighs, and an espresso martini. Every single dish had ingredients that popped and made for a beautiful plate all while tasting even better than they looked (how is that even possible??). The mushrooms were perfectly tender and soaked in a fat/ garlic/ shallot sauce, the lamb was well-cooked and juicy with a slight mint flavor and a wild tomato hummus that leveled up the whole dish, the gochujang beef was the tables favorite due to the presentation and mouth feel- it was light and melted in your mouth leaving behind a pleasant spice and the bits of crunchies added a great texture as well. The chicken thighs were cooked to perfection with the crispy side up, the sauce was perfect and while I usually shy away from okra, it tied the ingredients together and made for a comforting dish. The espresso martini was SO good, beans included so you know they’re serious. Finally, our waiter was the best and helped us pick a tasty bottle of wine, you could tell he really knew his stuff and he even brought out a special bday surprise for me, then offered to help us find a spot in the Bern’s dessert room if we so desired (we couldn’t eat another thing but this was so kind). I will be coming back whenever I can splurge again and would recommend Haven to any food lover.

Yesterday we had one of the best dinners since we moved from NY to Tampa in Haven. My drink was the hi, boo boo, and it was so good. Their oysters are super fresh and they already have a sauce - a nice and delicious kick. Next thing was the coal grilled octopus and it was so amazing. The potatoes that came on this dish had a nice crisp outside and they were so tender inside. We also tried the duck heart with cheese quinoa. The duck heart was PHENOMENAL, it tasted like fillet mignon. I did not try the quinoa because I am allergic (bummer), but my husband tried and he said that this was the best quinoa he ever tried. My main dish was a snapper with crab dumplings. SO AMAZING. For desert, we asked for the olive oil cake with white chocolate, berries and vanilla ice cream - such a fine desert and the best way to end our dinner. I absolutely loved our host (I didn't get his name, sorry 😥) and he explained all the plates in detail. The restaurant is beautiful inside. This is a keeper, and you should go to Haven as soon as you can!!

Among the best, creative restaurants across Central Florida. Originally Sidebern’s, a way for Bern’s to create a non-steakhouse restaurant. Bern’s will always be a steak house. Sidebern’s, now Haven, allows for maximum creativity with food. The drinks, the cheeses, one of the best happy hours!! Definitely a must go to restaurant in the region.

Good not great. A little bit underwhelmed. We ordered many different dishes but none really stood out. Cocktails were good and service was mediocre. We had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful waiter assistant- Kaitlyn who was a true delight.

Great place to dine. Incredible menu as would be expected being a sister of the Best Steak house in the country Berns. The Berns filet was cooked perfectly and the macadamia nut creme brulee was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Y’all. 🙌 Beef fat mushrooms. Harissa cheddar cheese. Prosciutto di Parma w ESPRESSO BUTTER?!?!Warm Brussels sprout salad. Fruit spread, almonds, soft cheese with grapes. Crispy smoked olive oil cake. Everything we tried was exceptional.

Great for happy hour and an evening out. We loved their fun cocktails and cheese platter! The wait staff is a little unprofessional considering how nice the restaurant is, but the management staff is very professional.

Excellent service and spectacular food. You just try the Brussel sprouts salad, the duck hearts, the octopus, the cheeses, bbq oysters, halibut, and olive oil cake - omg! Delish! And awesome drinks. Dined here twice already. Affiliated with Berns, but so much easier to get in, and have a fantastic dining experience which is what it’s all about these days!

Really great restaurant in South Tampa. Sister company to Berns and it shows. The menu is eclectic with deep flavor profiles. I would def eat here again!!! Thomas was our server and he was very helpful since it was my first time here

My wife and I were in Florida on vacation and last night we wanted a nice dinner since all the other places wasn’t to our liking. We booked last minute here at Haven. Unfortunately, they didn’t have anything indoor so we ended up dining in the patio. Adrian our server was so kind and definitely took good care of us. Great wine selection food was amazing cheeseboard was delicious. You should definitely try their grilled octopus.

My dining experience at Haven was okay. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. With so much hype around this place, I expected better food, but I will say the cocktails outshined the food. The service and staff were excellent, reservations were easy to come by and as part of our reservation, we had access to the Bern's dessert room. I did enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance of the place, which would make me come back for drinks.

Haven, look, you want to love this place because of its connection to Berns. On the menu, they advertise Berns steaks, and coffee… I really wanted to love this place, but am a bit torn on this one. The octopus was excellent, you must order this. The steak with the chimichurri sauce was good. The halibut was good. We’ve been told the cheese board is good. The cocktails were OK. That’s it though - the menu is limited and could use a few more options. When we left, we both questioned if we would go again. The choice is yours.

We had a great dinning experience at Haven. The staff were great and helped us pick items in their big menu. Everything was great and had lots of flavor. It’s a sister store of Berns steakhouse so not only can you get a great steak but they will get a reservation to eat in the dessert room at Bern’s when you’re done

Everything in this place works together, atmosphere, decorations,menus, food. Our server was very professional knowledgeable and giving us time and suggestions at the time of ordering our delicious food. We had the filet mignonette which was cooked to perfection. Our side was mac n cheese which was good! My wife order a spicy margarita that she loved as my old fashion was perfect. We are not the ones to order dessert but the “dirty pie” you literally can’t get dirtier than that! It was to lick your fingers!!! This is our second time here and we will come back for more!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Our server (wish I could remember his name) was wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes, giving us helpful suggestions. The drinks were great, and the space is lovely for a date night dinner. I recommend!

It was amazing! This was are 2nd time going. Our server was Madeline. She made the experience. The servers can make or break the experience and she was awesome! The service was fast and the food was excellent. We had the BBQ oysters (which I recommend), The charcuterie board, and the Gouda fried bites. For main entree the Red Snapper and the Coal grilled Octopus. Superb! The dirt pie dessert was so good along with the Bern’s coffee. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend for a date night!

I don't know why this place isn't more popular. Great food, great bar program, great staff. And most nights they can get you in to the Bern's dessert room. Also a great place for a private party. Fun private room looking into the kitchen and very reasonably priced for what you get.

We stopped in for an early dinner and ended up at the bar because of the fantastic happy hour! We hadn't been in quite some time (pre-Covid) and were amazed that they offered happy hour at the bar even on Saturdays. We enjoyed a wonderful cocktail and a small cheese board, then some really tasty escargot. Our bartender, Alyssa, was super friendly and attentive. She really made our evening! All in all, it was a nice evening and we'll definitely be back soon.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in the Tampa Bay area. I highly suggest going with a group of people and splitting a bunch of different thing. Everything we tried was fantastic. Don't skip over the organ meats, even those were amazing. Not a single thing to complain about at this restaurant.

Skip Berns and come here! The food is delicious and the drinks so good. If you like bourbon, they have a great selection of single barrel picks. The bartenders couldn’t be better. You need to try the cappuccino with whiskey.

We tried Haven bc we wanted to go to Bern’s but couldn’t get in and this was their sister restaurant. The menu is fancy and can be intimidating but our server Thomas was so knowledgeable about the wine and food menu that we felt comfortable ordering his recommendations. We had 9 things off the menu including dessert and it was all different and amazing! My parents don’t like brussel sprouts but loved the Brussel sprout salad! We really enjoyed our experience there and would definitely recommend!

HONEST REVIEW - The atmosphere is nice for a date night/birthday dinner type celebration. It’s a more intimate feeling setting, no complaints where atmosphere is concerned. The food is a 7/10. It’s not “stellar” or out of this world good, but it’s good enough to be considered delightful. Portion sizes are not big but not too small unless we’re talking appetizers, the appetizers we ordered were controlled/small size-wise. Macadamia nut crème brûlée did not taste anything like macadamia nut, just tasted like a mediocre crème brûlée. The waiter seemed to want to push us to order more food, which made us uncomfortable. He did not have the friendliest energy/did not seem too happy to be there at the time which of course affects the overall experience as well. Overall, it’s good not great. The environment might be the leading factor, and the food is good not the best you will have by any means but acceptably good. It’s a solid 3.5/5

I'm so sorry, I forget to take photos. I couldn't get into Bern's Steakhouse a week before we arrived so they recommended their other restaurant I was disappointed and hesitant but it too was a Michelin Restaurant so I made reservations online. Such a great surprise!!! It was a lovely time with my family. The staff was wonderful and atmosphere was relaxed and the food was fabulous. My son realized after having the Brussel Sprouts Salad that he loves Brussel Sprouts now. Makes mama happy to see him eating his vegetables and loving them. The Seabass and Scallops were awesome and the presentation was phenomenal. I loved my Steak and the twist on the sauce. The atmosphere was a bit loud but wonderful. Everyone was having such a great time. Valet could use 2 people on as he was very overwhelmed with all the traffic but handled it very well. Enjoyed the very unique menu, but I was just not brave enough to try those menu items. Thank you Haven, you rock!!

Celebrated a friend's birthday and we had a wonderful dining experience. Service is on point. They make great recommendations for cheeses. Those who complained about "not having full entrees" clearly didn't read or listen. We knew exactly what to expect and we enjoyed everything. My personal favorite, the Baked St Albans. So delicious! The almonds that come with your cheese... I can eat a tub of them! I wish the grilled octopus was more grilled, some of that grilled char flavor would've been nice. Next time I would most likely skip dessert and get more cheese instead. Or order the macadamia nut ice cream since I know it's amazing!

This was our first-time to The Haven. We were there for a special event but ordered off the menu which was very eclectic and creative. The shaved beef taco was great and the oxtail mac and cheese. The cocktails & Wine list were wonderful. We hope to go back in the future on our own and try the Delmonico steak and more yummy things from the menu

One of the most unique fusion experiences I have ever had. Phenomenal choice of charcuterie fodder, inspired small plates, and a shared experience. The desserts were incredible, drinks just right and ambiance inviting. Server ultra informed and helpful, chef was gracious and proud of his work.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner.This place exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere was amazing, very relaxed and casual but at the same time you didn't feel out of place if you came dressed up, which we did. Good music playing in the background, people having a good relaxed time around you and it's not too loud to be able to carry on a conversation. If you want a sit down dinner, you get seated at a table, if you came with some friends for some drinks and an appetizer, sit down at a couch or lounge chair. The food was amazing. Never having been here before. We asked our waiter Tommy what he would recommend and boy did he not disappoint. The drink selection was huge with something for everyone. We started with a Charcuterie board followed by a couple amazing dishes and finished with an awesome dessert. This place has definitely been added to our list of favorites.

Always a great experience! Their happy hour is where it's at. They always have 3 cocktail specials and great food specials to enjoy. I got the mushroom Swiss burger which was stellar (beef from Berns), roasted and raw oysters, cheese board, and rum old fashioned. All was excellent! Will definitely return soon.

We had a wonderful dinner experience at Haven. The selection process was very easy and I love the small plate style of dining. You truly get to try more of the Chefs dishes and parings. My wife had a Beluga Caviar Carbonara, it was so rich and creamy just perfect. I got a version of Loco Moco with Wagyu Beef, it was incredible. Our waiter was fantastic helped us through great parings of wine and cheese that was top shelf.

This is a review from a visit last year I forgot to write. On a visit I was accidentally given egg in something after mentioning I had an egg allergy to my server. I have a horrible egg allergy after having a stem cell transplant. I called the manager when I got home and they were super apologetic and gracious. I was invited back by the manager on the house to redo the dinner. On the second visit - I was greeted by the manager, and was given the best meal ever and service ever! The manager made sure the chef personally re-checked my order to be allergen free as well! Haven I tip my hat to your delicious food and your exceptional service! 5 stars!

We were impressed with the cocktails and wine selections by the glass. The wait staff was great and attentive. The meatball appetizer was large. However, the meatballs seemed to be overcooked (somewhat mushy), and the tomato sauce accompaniment was dehydrated. The octopus was good, and so were the Grilled Duck Hearts.

We always stop here after dinner and I have no idea why. I want to try the entrees but still haven't. The cheese board, drinks, appetizers etc are amazing. The service is of course outstanding as well. They have some specialty drinks and I would suggest any of them. We've tried them all. I really can't think of anything bad to say about this place. If you haven't tried it you should I'm sure you'll agree.

The food at Haven didn't disappoint. We initially wanted to get into Berns but it was all booked up so we decided to try Haven while we were in town. The steaks, Mushrooms, Brussel sprout salad, and octopus were all excellent. The only disappointment was the service. Our family of 4 was forgotten about many times. We sat with empty wine and water glasses quite a few times while our waiter was standing around talking to a table nearby. Food was great service needs attention.

Haven is a great spot to go if you have a furry friend you want to bring along! The outdoor seating is shaded with cooling fans and lots of lush plants. The staff brought out fresh water and a beautiful peanut butter treat for Henry! As for the human food the happy hour was excellent and I plan to go back to sample all of the offerings! #alldogsgotohaven

Mixed Bag - I had the truffled pork rinds and grilled octopus. We shared the roasted olives. My wife had the Happy Hour cheese plate and the Key West Pink Shrimp. My 2 dishes were very good – portion size and flavor. The olives were seasoned with red peppers – a lot spicier than expected and detracted from the variety of olives in the dish. The cheese was a good value. However, the Key West Pink Shrimp were covered in a brown spicy sauce that masked the flavor of shrimp without adding any interesting flavors. The menu features a huge assortment of cheeses and charcuterie meats. Much of the rest of the menu adds red peppers for a spicier interpretation of the dish – good if you like spicy, otherwise too much red pepper on the menu. Service was attentive. Outdoor seating is nice, despite traffic noises from Morrison Blvd.

Great place for a cheese lover. There are so many choices you simply can't find better in Tampa. Happy Hour food options could use some updating. Cheese and meat boards are staples but scallop appetizer was very small and not satisfying. I purchased the Cheese Monger plate and would have liked more sides to go with it. Maybe a small bing of honey instead of having to spend at additional $6 for it. Overall I'd be back because the service is great and Cheese selection is amazing.

Environment was nice and food was good. But service was meh.. our server took our order and didn’t write it down. Came back around 20 minutes later letting us know he forgot what we ordered and to repeat it. When the food finally came out, one of our entrees was still forgotten. I sat there not eating because my husband didn’t have his food. It took the server about 20 minutes to get to our table and ask why we weren’t eating. Once we let him know something was missing, the food came quickly. But he never apologized for his forgetfulness.

Great experience - from the food to the service it was excellent. This was on our list of places to explore as a possibility for a meal on Christmas Eve and indeed we will be returning then. We loved every item from the Offaly Good category, but the rabbit kidney dish was a standout. The shaved tongue also deserves a mention. Looking forward to our next visit.

Just go and thank me later. Happy hour is one of the best in town, hospitality specials on Mondays are amazing if you know your wine, beer and spirits. Dom Perognon and Ruinart specials for the champs lovers. Must get the mushroom dumplings and they have endless amounts of charcuterie and cheese. Erin the bartender is a 12/10. Not open on Mondays anymore in 2023 however, everything is still awesome. And dumplings aren't around all the time, BBQ oysters are now my favorite.

Just went for my birthday, and I can not say enough positive things about my experience just now. The last time I visited was the last time I’d ever been in restaurant with my father before he passed, and I could not have asked for a better tribute to my father. The phenomenal bartenders Alyssa and Erin took great care of us as they poured me the same bottle of whiskey I drank with my father that last time , and our phenomenal waiter Daniel provided us with one of the most personal and intimate dining experiences I’ve had in my life. Thank you Alyssa and Daniel for recreating one of the most memorable experiences in my entire life, and thank you both for keeping the memory of my father going strong and remembering a man who loved and respected the service industry. This experience brought me more happiness than you could ever realize. Thank you Haven staff.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and Haven Tampa made it the most memorable. This establishment offers phenomenal food, drink, atmosphere, and service! Chef Steve curated some of the most delicate dishes we’ve ever had. I would recommend everyone reading this should experience it.

Food was out of this world good! We shared a bunch of appetizers. The wagyu tartare was amazing, the tacos were the best we have ever had, and the sashimi was delicious. The decor and overall vibe is sexy but not stuffy. Staff is all very friendly and laid back! 10/10 recommend!

Food was great, great beer, great service and staff. Was sat by the bathroom for some reason. Also, our oysters were served dressed in sauce already which is not correct. Instead of being on a plate of ice it was a warm plate of Rock Salt. What?! Gross. Our waiter took them off the check which was nice.

Pretty good. Spent a lot of money and left somewhat hungry which was surprising as all the portions are very small. Nice atmosphere. Limited speciality Bourbon cocktails despite having a ton of different bourbons. That's said, overall a good experience, although maybe not worth the money spent.

We went for Valentine’s Day, and I have to say it was ran very smoothly!! The waiter was fantastic, very attentive and personable (wish I could remember his name). The menu was set but there were 3 options per course (4 with dessert) including a vegetarian option!! I would have loved to try the full list, but we were impressed either way. I came here for a birthday for my boyfriend. First off, the drinks are fantastic; they were some of the best we have ever had 💚💙 The food was also superb. We had the raw oysters, fois gras dumplings, oxtail fried rice, and duck. EVERYTHING was delicious. I wish we could have ate more, but we were so full. They also remembered it was bae’s birthday and gave us champagne and a fun sprinkler 🎊🎉 A big thanks to the restaurant and our waiter(s), the Matt^2. We will definitely come back for the fried rice. But EVERYTHING was so good!

Inventive culinary combinations equate to unique and delectable spins on classic Eurasian (though lean predominantly French) fare with the freshest ingredients. Mostly my dishes have rated far above what one could expect from a finer dining establishment in Tampa, though the competition certainly isn't fierce. Albeit the local restaurant circuit isn't well-versed in fine dining, this restaurant rates far above par in terms of ingredients and flavor profiles. The rudimentary menu does not generally reflect the dish one will be served... your choice will almost certainly surpass the low- or somewhat unpredictable- expectations set by the menu. As far as the service goes... well, it could do with a little "sprucing up". The servers are mostly polite and accomodating- sans the usual petite blonde bartender- but service can lag at times, leaving one wondering what has happened to his/her server. It seems the entire staff is tasked with working as a team, which mostly fares well for the clientele. Most reasonable menu requests are met with a viable solution without an upcharge, something I delight in seeing in a restaurant at any level. The wine list definitely is comprehensive enough for the above-average connoisseur, with a nicely curated selection from all major regions... after all, ownership is Bern's, a restaurant boasting one of the most (if not the most) extensive wine lists in Florida. The set craft cocktail selection on the menu is progressively on-point and most drinks are very tasty. Finding a good cocktail in this town cannot be taken for granted, so the focus on offering a unique selection is noted and one of the things that keeps me coming back. Overall, I highly recommend Haven for anyone not looking for a predictable dinner and seeking an upscale fare within a palatable ambiance. The atmosphere is appreciated whether indoor or out- at the bar or in the main dining room- and you will almost surely find at least one item of the offerings that will knock your socks off.

This was my first visit to Haven and although the decor was lovely, I wasn't as taken with the food selection. The menu is Tapas and my friends and I didn't know what most of the descriptions were. Most of the menu items weren't very appealing looking, nor were they that tasty when we tried them. The food wasn't bad, but pretty pricey even for tapas. Our server was efficient and nice, but seemed rushed. My girlfriends and I still had a fun time chatting and hanging out in Havens good atmosphere!!

The food is quite good but the prices are very high. The value I feel is low and I will not return. Also, I valet parked my Tesla and the attendant couldn't unlock the car with my key. He didn't know how to unlock it. I still had to pay for the valet but I had to get the car myself. That was pretty lame. Ask me first or don't charge me.

Our server, David, was so helpful in guiding us through the menu. We felt welcome and we'll taken care of. The menu was full of delightful adventure... items thoughtful in composition and execution... we dined for no less than two and a half hours on the outside patio, ordering bits here and there at our leisure. The area was cooled with fans but still quiet enough for each table to have its intimate conversations. Parking is valet only, happy hour goes until 7. I keep these two things in mind when planning my first visit if I were you. Enjoy

Happy hour is such a fun time! 5-7PM & came on a Monday night. They only allow HH outside, at the bar, or in the smallish lounge area in front of the bar. I'm so so glad that this powerhouse came into its own. I knew it would. Initially after opening I was consistently unimpressed. The menu looked better than it was in practice. But, I took a break and in the last year every experience has been a knockout. Eclectic menu where every dish is a star. The bar has all the backing you'd expect from Bern's titanic presence and they have a great happy hour too. If I ever need a slam dunk this is where I go. Highly recommend a group of 3 or 4+ so you can try a little of everything. Don't fill up on cheese and charcuterie - the options are nice but not my favorite in Tampa. The main menu itself has all the goods.

What I felt was is - it's just an fancy/ expensive bar with a lot of drink options & expensive & appetizer. At times was hard to get attention of our server. Portions are really small. What I’m most impressed with was the fact that I did drink a little much, and left my car there. I was so nervous the next day I’d be in trouble since I didn’t have my keys or anything. Luckily I found my spare. Anyway, they were closed. It was Labor Day weekend. I showed up anyways, Praying it would be there. Not only was it there, but the gate was open and unlocked just so I can get out, they left a printed note saying my keys were at a hotel right across the street and all I needed to do was pay the $3 valet fee from last night to get my keys back. What an incredible staff. To the person who did this- THANK YOU! I’m so grateful for you. And to the staff & chefs, I’m extremely impressed! Haven will now be my go-to spot for special occasions & when I want to impress some of my friends with delicious food & a wonderful atmosphere.

I hold mentioned when making reservations we would like a quiet table for our 20th anniversary celebration. We made a reservation online and the tool did not give us the option to chose indoor/outdoor table. When we got there it started raining uncontrollably and the hostess advised that we can seat outdoors but no open table inside. At least for an hour+. That did not go well, especially after sitting outside and getting rain drops all over our back (the outside was not fully covered). Our youngest daughter was the first to nearly lose her mind over eating dinner and taking a shower. I expressed my frustration with the server, Matt P. Matt took charge of the whole issue, came back in 5 minutes with a table option inside. He then explained the unique menu and suggested the chef board along with the fried Brussels salad, and main menu options. Also suggested mac and cheese for the kids without the spicy ingredients. We took all of his suggestions including the drinks/cocktails. Our kids were done with their plates in 5 minutes, and took over the chef board next. I forgot about the rain as soon as I bit the steak. Matt P. turned our experience around 180 degrees and we will cherish that dinner for years to come. We will be back anytime we visit Tampa Bay. And hope to be seated by Matt; he was phenomenal. The pictures and comments do not do enough justice. Their food is unlike any other restaurant regardless of what folks tell you. I honestly thought I was eating steak for the first time in my life. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a moment or have a dinner you will remember for life, this is the one. I spent more than that before on restaurants promising the best food in town and was disappointed. This restaurant is superb and should get 5 starts. It’s a category by itself. Iv'e eaten a here only a couple of times and the food is really good but a bit too foo foo for me. I mainly partake at the bar for adult beverages, The bartenders really know how to make a drink and the head mixologist, Dean, knows what he is doing. Be a bit adventurous and ask them to make you one of their specialty drinks, you will not regret it. The happy hour specials are nice and very reasonably priced. Many times the wines they have for $5.00 a glass are a great bargain. The place is trendy, upbeat and has a great atmosphere.

5 star service, 3 star meal. New menu does not live up to the old one. The most disappointing was the shrimp dish. Spicy, cold mashed potatoes with a few shrimp in the middle? Yuck. The filet was a disappointing portion for the price and came out lukewarm. It was a nice cut of meat though. The portions all around were much smaller than before the menu change and although some of the items were acceptable, nothing will bring us back even though we have dined here numerous times in the past and loved it. We know Haven is an expensive restaurant and we’re fine with that, but the cuts of meats they used (besides the filet) were downgraded to chicken thighs, pork steaks and catfish. There’s just no value there.

I can’t say enough great things about Haven. I’ve had a full dinner once, cocktails with friends twice and Happy Hour cocktails and shared plates a couple more times. Nothing has been anything less than stellar. The charcuterie selection is amazing and the cheese is possibly the widest selection in Tampa. All of the dishes have been incredible. Tonight we enjoyed oysters, blistered shishito peppers, duck tacos, the chicken thigh and pork belly wrapped asparagus. Even for the $2 taco week special, the size of the duck confit taco was amazing.. they don’t skimp!! The cocktails are delicious and the service is always amazing.

I went to Haven expecting the environment to be more like Side Bern's, but it was very loud. Many young patrons my age were shouting out loud as if they were at a fraternity party. The management did not address the issue and made the experience uncomfortable for other patrons. I took the liberty and conversed with 4 tables beside us and they were all unhappy about the environment and noise. On the other hand, the snack sized plates are absolutely delicious and excited ones taste buds and leaves them craving more. I would recommend to stop by early, share couple of plates and then go to Bern's to complete the experience.

Really loved Haven! Took my wife for a date night and our waiter was Lamarl and he was very knowledgeable. Being first-timers we let Lamarl choose our cheese selections and they were amazing. The vibe was amazing. The oxtail fried rice was our favorite of the night after the cheese plate.

One of the most uniquely awesome restaurants my husband and I have ever been too. We have been twice and would definitely go back again. Rather than one big entre, they serve small plates of individual meat or veggie items so its best to order one of each! Or, if you're like my husband, two different meat plates. Keep in mind though, this is not the type of food for picky eaters. The first trip, my husband got bone marrow, and I got kimchi. Second time I got veal and spaghetti squash (DELICIOUS) and he got beef tartare (which is raw & not my style). The best part though is the entire menu of different cheeses from different animals and different countries. It can be pretty confusing but both times the waiter helped tremendously. All I said was I would want something creamy, and I ended up with the most mouth watering brie I've ever had. My husband got a tangy blue cheese that was also good enough to be worth mentioning. In conclusion, if you're adventurous and open when it comes to food, you should definitely check out this amazing hidden Tampa gem.

We arrived at Haven as a group of six for Happy Hour. Lamarl, our waiter, could not have been more patient and accommodating. He helped arrange a cozy little section of the lounge for us. He also graciously attended to my gluten free and cow free sensitivities with a charcuterie that dazzled us all. Haven is a beautiful designed restaurant with a lot of attention to detail--I love the design of the bar. The freshest and finest of food can be found here. Went for a bday party and the atmosphere and view of the kitchen were both amazing. The food was pretty good. To be honest, I was thrown back by the mac n cheese because it had too much going on. I liked the broccolini in it, but I wasn't crazy about the pear chunks. The wet wontons and the spicy pasta dish were both amazeballs!! Sorry I forgot the name of the pasta dish... it starts with a P.... I hope that helps. Everything else was okay. I'm a pescatarian, but my friends said that the skirt steaks were really good. I'd like to see more fish options on the menu because I was seriously stuck like chuck. 🤦🏾‍♀️ The staff were all amazing and knowledgeable. And the macadamia nut ice cream is a MUST!!!!! I swear i'll go back just for that!!!

Always an awesome experience. Haven is Tampa's best wine bar. The new wine director Gregory S was fantastic. His level of service and his approach to what a wine bar should be was spot on. He's got the wine geekiness that you want from a somm but without the snootiness that so many other wine bars seem to have. He was very approachable and humble, and did not try to upsell. Our server, Adrian, did a perfect job pairing the excellent food with our bottle of riesling, grower champagne and a neat old bottle of NZ pinot. A final nice touch was being visited by the chef, Courtney, whose food was spot on. Thank you all for a very memorable experience!

Casual setting with true fine dinning service! Our server LaMarl was one of the best I've had in any restaurant. He has a passion for his craft and a heart for service. We had a sommelier and cheese expert help us with our selections (they are considerable). Amazing food and wine to be expected from a Berns Sister restaurant. Berns is great but not somewhere you would go regularly. This is a great spot with try new dishes and the small plates are wonderful for sharing. Get outside your comfort zone and enjoy! Can't wait to go back.

Great for meat eaters and vegetarians. Try the Prix Fixe, with the Wine Flight. The wines are paired according to whether you choose the Vegetarian Prix Fixe, or Traditional Prixe Fixe. Fabulous! The food is simply fabulous. Some may say the portions are small, but you are eating a six-course meal, and by the time you arrive at dessert you are searching for more room to put it in. It is worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and book a room at the Westin, ten minutes away and park your car. Take a cab there and back to the hotel so that you can enjoy a totally stress-free evening. We are looking forward to returning.
