Overall, the food was delicious. Tostones were nice and crunchy. I think the white rice had more flavor than the yellow rice. The lechon was a bit dry but still had good flavor. I took the two stars away due to service. The ladies did not look happy to be working there. I asked for a menu while I was waiting for a table, and it was like I offended her. When we asked for the check, same unfriendly demeanor.

Picked up some Cuban sandwiches to go for an picnic at the beach and it was pretty solid. Portions were great and price was decent, flavor was a bit muted but still a solid sandwich. Convenient for pickup, I’ve stopped by a few times now and there always seems to be parking in the small lot available, even during the lunch/dinner rush.

Excellent service and food. I hope the owner has the vision to expand this business and move out there. The parking might be an issue in a near future. Great food! The ladies were awesome! Great costumer service!

Today was my family’s first visit to this restaurant and it was fantastic! We drove up from Sarasota, after hearing such great things about it. The service, food, and atmosphere was excellent. They treated me and my family like family. The food was out of this world! Great authentic Cuban Food!!!

I Googled a Cuban place to eat while visiting the Tampa area. I came across H86 and decided to try it out. I was not disappointed one bit. The food was great with good service and very reasonably priced. The place could use a little sprucing up but not terrible. I would definitely go there again since I'm not interested in eating the walls. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

The food here is great—especially the natural fruit juices—mango is my favorite. My only gripe with this place is the customer service—there is NONE. The lady staff there are nice, but do not communicate well at all. This has very little to do with the fact that they don’t speak English…they don’t even attempt to speak Spanish to provide good service. Good customer service has nothing to do with ‘language’—it has everything to do with ‘character’. Despite the food being good, if it’s a struggle to get it, one develops a bad taste for it 🤷🏾‍♂️

Very authentic Cuban restaurant with a family feel. The selection on the menu is enthusiastic with a great variety. I started off with the Tamal con masa frita. For the entree I had the bistec salteado. Bring your appetite because they give you healthy portions! If you have a hankering for Cuban food, check out Havana 86.
