Excellent restaurant inside the Marriott. Great sports pub with the accompanying ambience. Very tasty food (Poke Salad and Flat Steak) with an amazing cheesecake for dessert. Staff was very friendly and attentive as well. Recommended.

We didn't feel up to going out, so we decided to eat here. The service was great even though they were pretty crowded, but the food was underwhelming. The chicken was over cooked and dry, but the flavor of the sandwich was great. The pickle actually had a pretty bad rotten spot, and while I probably wouldnt have eaten it anyway, I'm not sure how that was missed when plated (unless the kitchen was slammed, which could have been the case). The server noticed it and apologized when clearing the plate (but it wasn't her fault and she was not the one who plated it or delivered the dish). The truffle fries were on point. All in all, we'll probably eat here again if we're staying at the hotel.

Staying in the Marriott Water Street 9/22/22… came into Garrison Tavern for a to-go order. Directed by the friendly hostess to the bar. Bartender took the order quickly, had a Yuengling while i waited… great service, BIG TV’s, modern atmosphere, closed on Wednesday’s, highly recommend. Excellent Food came out fast!

It’s a great place to hangout, but the service is very random, one day was great, the next day they prob try to ignore you if you don’t look like you are going to spend a fortune on drinks. Little things like I forgot your lemonade after the 5th times and no silverware, Games are fun and the environment is very nice and friendly. Price is ok for the area. Design and furniture are rock solid and modern. I will be back next month and will bump this up depending on the service.

My sisters and I were in town for a concert this evening and had dinner, and then after concert cocktails at Garrison’s. As busy as they were, our waiter Justin took such good care of us during both our visits and reminded me of what it’s like to receive excellent service. We interacted with the restaurant manager, Steven, as well and he was attentive to us from the minute we walked into the bar area, ensuring we were well taken care of. We saw him provide this same level of service to as many people as possible and he was definitely in the trenches with his team. We had several dishes and all were tasty. Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Grabbed food and drinks here with a coworker while staying at the Marriott for a conference. The bar staff was attentive and accommodating. We got the house dry rub wings on a recommendation and they were the best wings we've ever had! For a tavern attached to a larger hotel, I just wish the kitchen was open later at night.

Well known semi sport bar at the Marriott Waterside in Downtown Tampa. Slow but friendly service, and slightly unorganized in the way they handle reservations and waiting list. Bartenders are very good although need more options for libations. Food is excellent mostly sandwiches and some sides. A fun place to be before going to Amalie Arena.

A group of us had dinner before the hockey game last night - they had a $10 burger special - what we didn’t realize they sides were extra - $6 for and $13 for a side salad - it would bare been a courtesy for the server to tell about this! At the end it took so long to get our bills we were late for the game and didn’t want to argue. The food was all very good but we felt ripped off by the ridiculously pricey sides!

Nice spot to catch some games on TV with a subtle twist on classic sports bar fare. The wings and fries were excellent and the service was good. If you’re downtown and don’t want to deal with the larger crowds at some of the other sports bars in the area this is a good spot to go to.

Great! There was a little mix up with our appetizer but they were quick to remedy the situation. Food was tasty, service was great. I really appreciated the quick service as I have a toddler and for us, the faster the better.

Booking with Miriam was a breeze! She was very knowledgeable and helpful! Quinn and Matthew were amazing the night of our event! Food and drinks were great, Top Golf simulator was a blast. Would definitely come back and tell others about it!

Had the fries and mac and cheese. Not really a fan of the flavor on the Mac and cheese but I ate it all. Fries and the sauce it came with were fine. Could have given this 3 or 4 stars. I suppose if you're staying in the hotel and don't want to walk anywhere it's fine. Otherwise I'd see what else is close by.

Only good part of the hotel. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing happy hour pricing and reasonably priced drinks for a hotel bar. Go for the bar and not the hotel

Large place with some pretty big TVs. Took a long time for the food to arrive. But it was good. Very busy when we were there, which could be why. The cheesecake was rather dry, unfortunately.

Sat at the bar. Bar staff were determined to ignore us. After about 10 minutes a female acknowledged us and about 5 more minutes the well bartender came over. Had to get the bar back to bring us condiments. Food was just ok bar food.

Sat at the bar, good service and food. Its a newer hotel so looks great from lobby to bar. Valet parking is a headache but not the bar's fault.

First I would like to start off by saying the staff was excellent. Manager TamekaCherie-- Waiter. they were very and when I say very accommodating believe me that word is and under statement. We made reservations in a week in advance for our supervisor's birthday and I must say from his perspective the atmosphere was great and the food was absolutely superb. The time we had to wait was very short and we was on our lunch break. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to a very classy sports bar. I must say the manager (Tameka) went out of her way to make sure our supervisor birthday was special and that he felt special. . I also wanted to mention the portions of the food was great also (Cee. )

I was in town visiting for a convention and stopped by this place because the restaurant in my hotel looked terrible. I’m so glad I did! I got the fried chicken sliders with the smoky macaroni and cheese and it was DELICIOUS. The service was a bit slow, but there was a big private event going on, so I assumed it was because of that. The awesome food outweighed the slow service and I would definitely go back.

Valet parking and great food before the Cirque du Soleil show at the arena! We pulled in to inquire about parking for the show tonight. Austin verified that it would be about $21, but half of that with validation from the Tavern. Perfect. Jason was our server. He brought water with lemons and husband’s iced tea quickly. He was very friendly and solicitous. We enjoyed his repartee. He helped us with our dinner selections, saying that the Cuban and burgers were excellent. They were, and he was correct! Two others brought our food. The burger was juicy and good. The fries were hot and crispy. I got the salad (baby spinach, spring mix, cherry tomatoes) for an up charge, and it was fresh & tasty. The Cuban was pressed and delicious. For the price, we got a lot of food! The restaurant itself was clean, had lots of tables, some booths, and a huge video wall with ESPN. The lights over the booths were modernistic wood, and provided excellent lighting. We liked seeing the food that we were eating! And we’ll be back!

Wonderful meal! Our server was most excellent. There was a pasta special for Gasparilla, and the spaghetti bolognese was easily the best spaghetti I’ve ever had. I would love if they put it on the menu to stay. We’re going to a concert at Amalie next month and we’ll be returning to Garrison’s now that we’ve found this gem.

We just had an excellent meal here. Service was fast and the food was great. I had the mahi mahi tacos, delicious with an avocado cream, and a side of brussel sprouts, equally as good. Hubby had a burger with fries also delicious!

Great location near the Arena, especially if you're staying in the hotel. Love the fact they have the NFL Sunday ticket, the Mahi sandwich is off the chart good.
