Grizzly Alfredo

Great food; bursting with flavor. The steak quesadilla’s are a favorite. The cuisine is light with flavorful spiced undertones. A great place for lunch or dinner, located inside the Renaissance Hotel.

I feel like this restaurant is underrated and relatively unknown. Yes it's in a hotel but the quality is very good. The appetizers, pastas, and pizzas are all well done. Service has always been very nice and attentive. Decor is modern and clean. Prices are just about right at around $40/person. Only problem is because it's unknown, it's always kind of dead in there and not much of a crowd.

My husband picked this restaurant for his birthday. Our food arrived cold and the taste was poor. Items form the desert menu were not available. My friend went to use the bathroom and when upon return, her glass of water was removed and never brought back. I guess they were expecting for us to leave...not sure. The waiter that served us was friendly but did not describe the items in the menu well enough. In my on line reservations I requested something to be done for my husband, like a birthday song but it was not done at all. The best part of the menu was the gelato, which we had for desert. I would not go back to this restaurant for diner...maybe for lunch if at all - Disappointed.

I decided to give this restaurant a chance on Thanksgiving day and took my teenagers for our holiday meal. In a nutshell the service , Appetizers, entrées and desserts were outstanding. We couldn't have made a better choice. my kids felt the same way and overall it was a big hit. I would highly recommend this restaurant without reservation.

This review is translated from a guest related to me that is not on Google. Jan would recommend this place to everyone. The atmosphere is amazing as it is small and cozy with beautiful decorations. The artwork is from a local artist and is top notch. Lighting is perfect and music is just right. The craft cocktails are extremely delicious and original. The barrel aged old fashion is the best old fashion I have ever drank. Be sure to try it smoked from their smoke box. I had the Gambas, mussels, croquttes and grouper. All of it was absolutely AMAZING! The grouper was grilled and tasted so fresh I would not be surprised if it had been caught that same day. The male bartender with the long hair was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He made us so comfortable we could have stayed all night. He described the food and cocktails extremely well and was very confident in his recommendations so we went with them and were very glad we did. This is a small gem that is kind of hidden. Highly recommend you check it out. The bartender also said they have live music once a month and that the artist attends as well as the local coffee roaster (the after dinner cappuccino was to die for) and cigar roller.

I won a Facebook contest for the Friday dinner for two. I was worried that because we were eating for free, we might get less service. I was wrong. Everyone was really attentive and treated us like royalty. The food is to die for! Manager Joy was truly professional. Made sure to thank all the chefs too! Highly recommend this place.

Came here for lunch after my USF graduation and I loved it! The servers were super friendly, the food was prepared quickly, and everything was delicious. I loved the atmosphere at lunch time, which was pretty laid back and comfortable. It wasn't too busy at that time.

I have had fettuccine alfredo at probably 100 places over the years, and this is by far the best. Drinks were also great as well as everything else we tried. Service was also fantastic (ask for Leo).

Took my wife here for a dinner date, the wait staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people there at the time but found us a table fast and still managed to stay on top of their game! I just want to say if you want a nive place with good food and friendly staff please try this place! Hands down one of the best date spots in Tampa!!

Such a fan of their Chicken Rigatoni dish, I can't order anything else when I go there. I have tried to steak sandwich, the chicken platter, the soups - to die for! Great service, too!
