5 Stars Plus. First Timer Here. Fresh Well Seasoned Fresh Food. Clean Environment. Friendly Staff. Average Plates 10 -20 Dollars. Large portions so you get what you pay for. I always have something to say but to be honest this place was on point I'll definitely be coming here more often they have everything from Pizza to Meatloaf to Mediterranean food to Hamburgers you name it. From comfort food to something light to something hearty a little something on the menu for everyone. My whole family enjoyed eating there and definitely will be coming back again.

First time here. Christina was our waitress and she was excellent. Even the owner came out to say hi. Food was excellent. Love their greek salad, calzone and skillet. Definitely will be back. Big portions and good pricing!

Foody's was good food. I only had a chicken gyro but I thought it was good. I opted to try the Greek fries which is fries with feta cheese, oregano, were also really good too. One of the owners was working the front of the house and was very sincere. Good eats.

I have to say I am very impressed with this establishment. The owner works the front counter and talks to every customer. The wait staff was very poignant and attentive. The food was spectacular and the portions are huge. The one negative criticism that I could make is that the prices are definitely a little high. I have to admit though the burger is one of the best I've had in the whole city. I got the empire State Burger because it says it's one of the biggest in town on the menu. The menu was not lying. This is huge freaking burger. If you like to eat big burgers I suggest ordering one for yourself. You will not be disappointed if you eat here.

My boyfriend and I were in the area and decided to stop by and try Foody’s Diner & Pizza House. To say the least we are totally impressed! We often dine out together and find it hard to seek out a place with amazing wait staff as well as great tasty food. This place took us by surprise by going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our overall experience. Food is amazing, staff is so friendly and helpful, nice fun diner vibe.

First time and I’m glad,Spaghetti and meatballs were amazing!! Best part the customer service and attentiveness of the staff match the food. Very clean and welcoming environment.Waitress made sure everything was to my liking and also what I think was the owner or manager came by also. As a local business owner im a fan and I will be back for lunch more often. Great environment and food selection!!

ABC PIZZA was/is better but really hoping this place improves. Been here before C-19 and it was struggling. They dropped the pizza and brunch buffet(it wasn't bad, but it seems they couldn't continue it). The pizza, salad and wings were still decent but today I saw the inflation hit. The toppings were a bit more expensive(to be expected) but when I ordered a 14" pie, at least an inch was taken off because of crust, leaving us with an 11 to 12 inch pizza. The wings were fine but the ranch was perhaps another cut corner, a huge boat but taste wise it was lacking(sign of a cheap ranch they buy) The Greek salad was ok but when we ordered potatoe salad, it was as thought they took a teaspoon and hid it under the salad to found later after the salad was done... I'll be back but it won't be with any an....tcipation or hurry. The bilingual waitress was nice and had several good qualities but needs to balance her helping in the kitchen with checking on the customers.

Had breakfasts, lunches and pizza. Enjoyed them all. Still have the best garlic cheese bread (as previous owners). Everyone's always friendly and makes sure that everything is good. My favorite salad.. Greek salad with grilled chicken and garlic cheese bread. Large salad makes 2 meals for me! Everyone always pleasant!

We have been waiting to try Foodys and decided today to go for breakfast. We were not disappointed! ALL of the employees had a smile on their face and made us feel welcomed. The food was amazing. I got an omelet that was filled with bacon, mushrooms and cheese and their rye bread was toasty and delicious. My husband got chicken and waffles which was also delicious. Their homemade sweet tea was perfect. We are already planning a trip to come back to try what they have for lunch and dinner.

We had a great late breakfast, with plentiful portions and hot, freshly made, tasty food. For a moment it had me thinking of Mykonos… 😜 If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast around the area, definitely got to visit Foody’s 👍🏼

Yesterday we were looking for a cool diner experience and we found Foody’s on Yelp. Since it was rated very high we decided to make the drive to Tampa for a late lunch. We ordered the Foody’s Sampler appetizer (fried mozzerella sticks, jalapeño poppers, onion rings served with 3 sauces, marinara, ranch and Foody’s sauce), the French Toast Burger Bacon Cheeseburger served on French Toast) with a side of potato salad and the California Skillet (3 eggs, seasoned potatoes, avocado, cheddar cheese, onions, peppers, ham and bacon). The portion sizes were sizable. The Foody’s Sampler was ok, the mixer tells sticks were tasty and prepared well, the jalapeño poppers seemed like they may have spent too long in the freezer(but then they do at many places we have been) the onion rings were ok but could have been a bit more crisp. The French Toast burger was lacking taste. The French Toast was tasty but the burger Patty, while thick lacked flavor. I’d order the French Toast minus the burger if we were to return. The potato salad had a really nice flavor and I would certainly order that again. The California Skillet was ordered without ham and bacon. While it was sizable, it really was lacking flavor. This was even more disappointing as the ingredients listed “seasoned” potatoes included. There was no taste of seasoning. The restaurant is a good size place housed in a well kept older building. The servers and manager were all friendly and attentive and we did not call attention to our disappointment. The food items just lacked flavor. Since this restaurant has a high average rating, this may have just been an off day for the kitchen.

This was our first time there and it will not be our last!! They had so many choices but I ended getting the French Toast burger....yeah you read that right. Served with fries. This burger was seriously the best burger I've ever had. It comes with cheese and bacon on it with maple syrup on the side. It was absolutely lights out delicious. I'm not sure but I think the owner came to the table and asked how it was....I replied with was this your idea? He said yes, I told him he was a genius!!! He then gave a sample of a new sauce that will making it's way to the menu. All I can say is I will be back for round 2 with that burger new sauce. Great atmosphere. Server was extremely nice with a great personality. Excellent place for a family to enjoy a delicious meal!!! Oh and the dessert.....sweet Jesus. Highly highly recommend!!!

I was looking on google maps the other day, looking for a new place to eat. I settled on Foodys and was immediately impressed - they greet you with a big smile and the staff are super attentive. I had a craving for chicken fried steak and they didn't disappoint. The portion size is impressive as well! I noticed they have a comprehensive pizza menu and even ordered one to go - the bbq chicken pizza was excellent! So flavorful and with a tasty crust as well. Overall, just a wonderful experience.

Here's ALL the important stuff: 1. Very friendly staff 2. Super clean restaurant 3. Absolutely huge, delicious salads 4. Scrumptious baklava 5. The hugest, tastiest piece of lemon cake ever! 6. Service was good, always checked on. Building could use a update but was clean. Big servings. I would give it more stars but, honestly the pizza I ordered might have been the worst pizza I've ever had. It could be me, just wasn't good. My wife had a burger and tasted a little bland but was ok. Fries were good. If the food was 20 percent better I would give 5 stars.

I had an amazing experience at Foody’s! They were all super friendly and super welcoming! It’s such a cozy place, the food was good. We ordered their today’s special spinach pie with greek salad and soup and the gyro platter the portions are huge and the prices are good! It will definitely be my go to spot. I had the chef salad it was really good . I got extra salad dressing and the bill was over $18.00 and I only had the salad to go with tip it cost me over $20.00 dollars. It was good just very expensive. It will be a treat not a weekly meal. Jason's Deli has a really good chef's salad for $10.00 dollars I'll keep eating there for my salad.

This was my first visit since they expanded. The dining area is now larger and brighter. The service was friendly, but too infrequent. If it was busy, I could understand, but there were only two other tables there. The cola was good. The inordinately thick pizza crust stole valuable pizza area so our large felt like a medium. Foody’s expansion also showed up in our bill. We’ll be back, but I don’t know if it will be one of our regular spots again.

Absolutely phenomenal. I can not speak highly enough about how truly outstanding the staff and management is here. This is our 3rd visit and each time we've been here has been better than the last. Today, we stopped with the kids for breakfast. Everything came out quickly, correctly, and delicious! We'll definitely be back, again and again. Pro tip: Switch to Heinz Ketchup. French's is trash. 😂😂😂

We stopped in recently for breakfast on a Tuesday, late morning and the restaurant was very quiet. All of the staff welcomed us in, and we got a booth and checked out the menu, which is extensive. On the specials board was Nutella French toast, so I had that and we also ordered the chicken and waffles. If you've never tried the chicken and waffles at Foody's, I highly recommend it - it's unlike anywhere else. They coat their breaded chicken tenderloins in a sweet & savory, smoky, bacon-flavored syrup that is divine! Definitely the highlight of the meal. They also have a bar, some fantastic looking desserts in their case, and a coffee bar as well! If you're in the area - I highly recommend checking out Foody's for your next meal.

Pizza was excellent. I had the small veggie and could only eat half. Crispy crust and fresh veggies. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and pizza! Beer and wine. I came here to check it out and i will be back. The prices are reasonable and the menu is expansive. They were playing my favorite type of music and also had on news on some of their flat screen tvs. There are booths, tables and a nice bar. A very welcoming and happy place. Relaxing and plenty of parking. This used to be an ABC pizza house, but now brothers from Greece have expanded the menu in a great way. I will be back many times.

Greatest little secret in the Tampa area. Meals are superb homemade in very large portions at very reasonable prices. You will never leave here hungry. I highly recommend the liver and onions with a nice slice of chocolate pie for dessert.

Foodys! Foodys!! Foodys!!! The Name Says it All! What a Fun Find for Phenomenal Flavors! I am beyond euphoric that I found Foodys! Read on.... Stepping in from the Florida scorch, I was treated to a cool retreat. Right off, you can see the place is sparkling clean! Tile and bright. Wonderfully light. (Even the rest rooms! A great insight!) As I'm escorted to a table, I begin to feel a tingle in my toes. That feeling starts to take me over. Without a doubt! I'm rockin' out! I'm in a good tunes attitude! The sweet sounds of the 50's are uplifting my ears and making me smile. Yes! Great music and good food. What a simpatico symphony! My Foodys guide du jour was the effervescent Monse. Another interesting name, this one tagged on a lovely tawny señorita with her acento mexicano. I believe she listened better and communicated more than any server I've ever encountered in the restaurant business. Her welcoming posture really put me at ease. About the food... Recently, I've been in a Greek Salad mood. Good to eat and good for you. (You might have noticed from my recent reviews - lots of salads). You guessed it! I ordered the Greek Salad! With the house dressing. What I was NOT ready for? The veritable pinnacle of perfection! A climb to the peak of Mount Wow! It's hard to imagine a meer salad invoking pleasing aromas nose high. But that is exactly what I was immersed in! The garden-y scent of fresh produce, the spices AND the Feta! Feta! What cheese could compare with the intoxicating brew contained within that humble crumble? To say Feta is my Favorite is an understatement. Feta is made from goat's milk, sheep's milk or a combination of both. Those demure non-moo juices create a cheese that draws you in close. Close. For a bite. A taste. A whiff of wonder. And I was very very close... It's few and far between that I find a Feta so flavorful. THIS Feta was so creamy smooth. With that happy way it coats your throat, wrapping every morsel in a jacket of jazzy pizzazz! I could soooo taste the goat's milk essence. WOW! Everything about my premier visit to Foodys was fabulous! Fantastic! Whether I'm in Town or Country, I've found a place that puts me in the right STATE! A state of happiness. A state of awe. A Foodys kind of state....

We were in today for a 1pm brunch. They have mimosas, a full bar, amazing looking cakes and desserts. I ordered an omelette that came out undercooked but nearly everyone Working apologized, mortified they brought a plate of sliced watermelon while I waited for them to be remade. I don’t have a problem with mistakes being made as long as their fixed and these guys went above and beyond to make sure we left happy…and we absolutely did. We’ll be back.

I wasn’t so sure about this place when I looked it up. With having only recently opened and five stars I was a little skeptical. I have to say, this was a special treat. Foodies has a very large menu for breakfast. As I skipped dinner last night I was seriously hungry for some real food and ordered the New York strip breakfast. It was a legit steak! Seasoned perfectly, thick cut, and cooked to perfection! The server even had me cut the steak to make sure it was cooked to my liking before she left the table. I have to say, Foodys has done a great job renovating the building, creating a menu, and preparing delicious food. I will definitely be back often.

I drive by here everyday going to and from work so I thought I'd stop in and give it a try. It's great! A variety of menu choices from breakfast to lunch to their daily specials. It really is a true diner where you can have everything from breakfast to a burger to meatloaf and full dinners! I will definitely be back! I just finished having breakfast this trip and it didn't disappoint! Amazing French toast that was thick and fluffy along with crispy bacon, home fries and a couple of scrambled eggs. You can't go wrong here! Plus you're supporting a local business. A man who I believe is the owner always comes by your table and asks how everything is.

Came in to Foodys today because we were in the area. My kids ordered breakfast (mickey pancake), my husband ordered the Reuben and I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter. The portions were huge, even the kids! We have lots of leftovers. Everything was great and the service was also great.

We were blown away by the food, it was soooo good. Yes, it is a little pricey, but you get mountain of food. I got the Gyro salad, and will probably be eating it for a few days. My son ordered the chicken parm, and barely made a dent into, & he's 19. The staff was awesome, & friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

I've been here twice and it never disappoints. The menu sounds basic but it's all delicious. The Greek pizza is phenomenal. The tzaziki sauce is so good. Lamb shanks, delicious. Friendly service as well.

We ate here twice. Everyone in the place made sure all of the customers were happy. Everyone went out of there way to say hi and converse with the diners. Wait staff were superb and food was great. Absolutely fantastic. We ordered a white pizza and added gyro meat on top and asked for tatzaki sauce on the side to dip and it was amazing. The pizza crust was buttery and crispy and fluffy. We had the tuxedo mousse dessert after and I highly recommend it.

We were in town for just a day and found this place before we flew out. It must have just opened because we were the only ones seated. The place is clean and well spaced. Our server was soooooooooo sweet and so polite. Everytime she came to or left our table, she excused herself. She made great recommendations and brought us everything we needed. The food was 🔥🔥🔥. The steak skillet was delicious. The French toast was very tasty, and my fiance's loaded hash browns were absolutely phenomenal. Hearty food at a good price. Large portions. Good mimosas. Found our new local spot. Food is home made and delicious. Owner very polite, stopped by and chatted with us. Gyros was good and the soup was authentic Greek and one of best I've ever had (my wife is Greek). Will become a regular and keep trying different things. Daily specials as well as authentic Greek specials. Very reasonably prices. Good food, good atmosphere, great service. Opa UPDATE: Beware 10/29 while checking my banking on line, found they added $7.00 to my debit card transaction after we picked up our to go order. Not cool! Went back, got our $7 but really? This place is down the road from me but I didn’t know about it until I found them on Groupon. I went in for breakfast and had the two eggs any style with hash browns and sausage. The service was excellent and the food was great and of a good portion. They also do lunch but I have not tried that yet. I will be back. Post previous Review... I did go back for Lunch, and also Dinner on another visit I know it doesn't specifically say it is a Greek café/restaurant but they do have a lot of Mediterranean options. The Lamb is very good, Pizzas close to what you get in Italy, and the Greek salads and Gyro options all very good and great potions. If you are looking for a South Eastern European experience (Greek/Italian/Turkish) the food is so good. And they have all the American options as well if that is what you want. They have beers and wines from this part of the world as well (Italy-Greece).

Never disappoints! This family is amazing! Such a quality atmosphere and food to match. The portions are huge. The prices are fair. And cleanliness that goes above and beyond. These guys don't do anything bare minimum. (Even the corners of the bathroom shine! No stone unturned.) The servers always have a cheerful attitude. Guests are well attended to and the Manager on duty always checks every table; not like a big corporate chain where they were told to in some guide book, but because they care about everything they do. I have mad respect for the way they do things at Foodys and reccomend this establishment with great pride.

My family went for the first time recently. We had mixed feelings. Staff we excellent. Very friendly. 1 person got a breakfast meal and thought it was good. The other got a sandwich and didnt like it. I got a club sandwich and thought it was great. I also tried there pancakes and liked those as well. My only complaint was the price. It cost me $53. I felt it was very high for the items we got. It cost me more for 2 chocolate milk then it would if I had bought an entire gallon. That would be my only reason for not going back. A price doesn't matter to you, then I would say this is a good place to go.

Today was my guy and I first visit at Foodys. I came across this place on google search and thought to give them a try. We traveled a great distance and it was so worth the drive. I mean from the calm pleasant greeting, cleanliness, friendly and fast service we will definitely be returning very soon. I fell in love with this place from today. They have an abundance of meal options with reasonable price. Hylah was our waiter she is amazing and to top things off the manager came to greet himself to ensure we were ssatisfied. Absolutely Amazing...I was waiting to see my neurosurgeon who was running behind a couple hours, so I went blindly down the street to grab a bite to eat...I found Foodys down the street. To my surprise it's the same owners as my all time favorite Breakfast place by my house across town...Mama's Kitchen on Florida Ave. We just ate breakfast there yesterday and Today lunch at Foddys... After reviewing the menu(s) there were three...with Amazing incredible options...if you were hungry for it, it was on there. I gave it a shot for the nice size helping Liver and Grilled Onions, Mashed Red Potatoes, Mixed Veggies and a side salad. I couldn't say enough good things about it. Just became one of my favorites! Kudos to two of my favorite restaurants!!!!

Stopped in yesterday after seeing some other comments and we were not disappointed. Inside was clean and looked like a fresh remodel, all employees were wearing masks properly and we felt safe. Menu was diverse and I had a hard time choosing. My son had French toast and he was very happy with it. I finally settled on meatloaf which I often get when I am out. It was very good but I was surprised at how good the mixed vegetables that came with it were, most places I would skip them, but these very well prepared. I hope we have a reason to be in the area again soon, I would definitely go back. Reminds me of a New England diner from the menu, plus Italian and Greek.

Amazing food! I have been doing mostly takeout since they opened and had the pleasure of trying several different dishes. Tonight I brought my entire family to dine in and everyone was impressed. With such a comprehensive menu everyone was able to get a dish they really liked. It was so good we were passing samples around the table so everyone could try all the types of food that we ordered. It’s always amazing to me when seemingly simple food can be leaps and bounds better than normal. This is the case with Foodys omelettes. Their portion sizes are extremely generous, and they are delicious. Their home fries are also very good, opting for larger potatoes that are uniquely cut as opposed to the pre diced home fries that many restaurants around here serve. Add in the fact that they serve breakfast all day (my family tends to be late starters), and this is our go to breakfast place.

This is probably the best food place I've ever ordered from in Tampa. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing, and the portions you get are so immense you'll definitely be having leftovers. To top that they have a textbook of a menu with so many recipes that it's actually tough to make a decision sometimes. This place is pretty amazing and normally I don’t leave reviews. I am a big burger fan and I prefer my burgers made medium rare. This is one of the very few places that pulled off a medium temperature burger and did not burn it. The fries tasted great and they were quick to deliver it. The wings were enormous & cooked fresh & the pizza had heavy portions of toppings which gave it rich flavor but not overpowering! Great quality, flavor, & portion size for the very modest price! 1st time here. I ordered the Greek Meatballs with orzo and lentil soup. This place goes! The portions are beyond plentiful. The meatballs are a must try. When I say that this is the best breakfast restaurant in the area, I MEAN IT! I don’t eat pork, but I really wanted a breakfast sandwich with protein. The cook suggested a philly style breakfast hoagie that included Sliced Rib-eye steak, eggs, cheese, and hash browns. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, and the bread was buttered and toasted with love. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. On top of the amazing food, the service is top notch.

The food was so good! My friends and I ate dinner there last night and we all loved what we ordered. Highly recommend it, especially anything with their “Mama’s Sauce.” Everyone was super friendly, and I really think this place deserves more recognition.

I was here on 1/8/21 with my co worker. We have an hour lunch from 12pm - 1pm. We got to this place at 12:05. There were only 4 other customers in the entire restaurant. Only 4- but the time that it took for the waitress to take our order was a long while. She finally took our order at 12:25 and the food came out at 12:50. We literally had to get some To Go boxes since we didn’t have time to stay and eat. As I was walking out, I realized that there weren’t any trash cans around to throw our trash away in. The food was good but prepare for a long wait time. With only 4 customers, and it took the waitress that long to serve us, I couldn’t possibly imagine how long it would take to get our order taken if the place were packed.

Best gyros in the area. Gyro Platter is Huggeeee. I’ve always had great service here and my niece and nephew love the pizza. Kind of funny story, the waitress said my nephew looked like Coco and I pulled up the movie and he was dressed just like him. Made it a meme and it got a lot of likes 😭 back to the review... They serve all day breakfast and have the best bread. It’s thicker than your usual grocery store toast most places serve. As I write this review, I’ve decided to make the drive and have a gyro. It’s worth my 25-30 minute drive from Oldsmar. Idk why places like Little Greek or Hungry Greek do well. Their gyros are always so skimpy and the meat has little taste. I’ll get a good gyro there maybe once out every 4 trips. It’s not worth it anymore so I drive to Foodys where they get it right 💯 percent of the time.

Went to Foodys for dinner tonight. Restaurant is decorated nicely, atmosphere is good and the restrooms were very clean. Menu is very large with lots of different choices. Ordered the philly cheesesteak with fries. Food was hot, sandwich and fries were both great! Hubby had the buffalo chicken salad. Huge salad, extremely good! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back.

A lot of the same food they had when it used to be ABC pizza but they raised the prices. The Greek salad doesn't have ham anymore and the dressing isn't as good as it used to be. Potato salad was really good so was the gyro. I would have rated them higher but there prices are too high for what you get and done things aren't as good as before they bought abc

It was our first time eating at Foodys. The menu was massive...so hard to choose. I love that they serve breakfast all day! The food was pretty good here. Huge portions!! My only suggestion for this visit would be this: You can tell that the veggies were boiled. Don't boil your veggies. Steam instead. The green beans were almost grey in color and filled with water. My plate had water present when I poked the green beans with my fork. Other than that, Perfection! The greek style pork chops were delicious! Juicy and tender. The side salad was fresh with a very nice mix of greens. I will definitely be going back.
