Food was amazing. Great service! Would highly recommend this restaurant. The pork belly was nice and crispy. The chicken soup was delectable it brought tears to my eyes. I ordered the Carne Asada which came with beans, rice, coleslaw and sweet plantains. My husband ordered Fried Pork Loin with same accompaniments. All were very tasty. We enjoyed it very much. I’m in a food coma. Ordered Cheese Bread to go from their bakery. They have several pastries and breads. Also hot empanadas that were sold out. They also make cafe con leches. Check them out and you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious food. They've got something for everyone. Extremely fresh & well made. If you're in the mood for an excellent meal that won't break the bank & have a ton of flavor be sure to check out El Cafetal. Highly recommend.

I visited the new location today and it was so delicious! I had the #18 Sobrebarriga a La Plancha Encebollada and a sweet cafe con leche. I used to walk to their old location. But, now I’ll happily drive to come eat here! I’ve also had, and loved, their papas rellenas and their beef empanadas and love their bakery pastries as well!

Fantastic! What else can i say? Finally noticed this lovely little place on South Dale Mabry and stopped in to grab lunch. Kathy & I ordered two Cuban sandwiches (incredibly good....reminded me of ones i used to get at the Silver Ring in Ybor so many years ago), one Cafe con Leche (no sugar for me), and a couple of bakery items including a sweet corn flat bread with cheese on it. Amazing. They're open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, so we'll be back for more and will post accordingly....i can't wait to try one of their Especial de la Casa - Camarones al Ajillo (grilled shrimp and creamy garlic sauce with rice and fried green plantains)!

It was an amazing breakfast. The eggs were so good I had to order a double batch. The rice and beans were excellent as well. The piece of meat was very well seasoned, and due to the current market on meats it's understandable that it was a small piece. It was still delicious. The little biscuit is very filling so I usually save it for last so I can enjoy everything else. If I get too full I would rather it be the biscuit that is left behind.
