Another top rated place! I think I’m the 4 days we spent in Tampa we had Due Amici like 3 times! The owner was so sweet. He gave us dessert on the house and I think we devoured everything in like 2 minutes! The pizza was a huge debate! Whether it was better than NY pizza or not. We all agreed, if it wasn’t better than it was right there next to NY pizza. You can’t go wrong with any slice. They also make the dough in house, the pasta in house, and cook everything right in front of you. The food is very responsibly priced I’m ready for some more pizza 🍕🤤 the staff was also super friendly and super fast! 🍕- 🤌🏼 🍝- 🤌🏼 🍺- 🤌🏼

This place has one of the best vibes on the street! Everyone is very nice and welcoming. I've been twice during my stay in Tampa and it's one of my favorite places. The sausage and pepper hero is delicious! Got the eggplant and cheese hero the second time and it was equally delicious. This is a must try place.

This place is incredible. In the middle of ybor street. Very busy. Always on point from service to pizza to smile. These brothers know what they are doing and i went there 2 times in my 2 visits. It is that good. The flavors are out of this world. All these pizza by the slice have something extraordinary about them. The flavors are not your typical and the toppings are as well. You might find your favorite with a twist. But they have stuff that i haven't found anywhere. There is always a wait.... does that tell you something??? When in Tampa. Do me a favor and pay a visit to this place. You won't regret it. Very highly recommend.

One of the incredible place in Ybor Street. This place is in the middle of Ybor city which is always busy in serving the hot pizza slices with a smile on their face. They make fresh and hot pizza with delicious and fresh ingredients. There are different pizza options for everyone. Whenever you visit this place you might always find a wait line to order the pizza. Trust me it is worth it and they do their best to serve us the food as soon as possible. When we got our chance we ordered 4 pizza slices which included 2 vegetarian pizza slices,1 Italian Pizza slice and 1 chicken slice. Our pizza slices were heated up. The seating options are also available inside the bar. We sat inside the bar and had our hot pizza slices. The crust of the pizza was amazing and delicious. We loved all of our pizza that we got. One of the best places in Tampa to get hot and delicious pizza slices.

DELICIOUS! Went there for a quick bite to check it out while I was waiting on Hubs to get back from a meeting. It was recommended by several locals so I had to check it out. I had a slice (huge slice) full of all sorts of meats. The pizza was fresh and delicious and the The atmosphere was just what I was hoping for. It’s full of locals, tourists, and happiness. The aroma of fresh crust hits you in the face as soon as you walk in and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I wish I could have sat there all day and tasted everything they had to offer. Highly recommended if you’re in the Ybor area. You won’t be sorry!

This is my first time ordering from this establishment and it was absolutely delicious! The extra large pizza is by far the largest pizza I’ve ever seen. They don’t skimp on no ingredients. The dough/pizza crust is just perfect. The pizza sauce is absolutely perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. They have made a lifelong customer of me and my family. If you haven’t tried it then you’re missing out. Phenomenal pizza!

Everyone thinks of this place for their great selection of pizza but they also have fantastic salads. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Ordering line is a bit haphazard. Environment is beautiful, spacious and clean. Bathrooms are clean but should be remodeled. Food is wonderful. They have an awesome big common table that i always seem drawn to when i dine in. Highly recommended. No free water. Bring your own or buy their bottles.

We found this place by coincidence and it was the best pizza by the slice place I’ve ever been to! Family friendly, plenty of tables to dine in and enough room to stand up and watch the soccer game if you only want to drink and watch tv. The whole Ybor City area is nice to walk and the vibes are just right and this place is not an exception. The staff made us feel welcomed and their food tasted very authentic with lots of cheese! They sell their sauces in Publix, according to the ads in their restaurant so that gives you an idea how good it is. This place is now a must stop whenever we visit Clearwater again!

Stopped by with the gf for a slice of pizza and the meatball appetizer. Both were amazing and so was the customer service. We asked about the pizza kits and Gino told us to grab one and it was on the house! Love this place. If you’re in town, skip the other pizza places and come straight here to Due Amici. You won’t regret kit. Thank you Gino for making our night. Happy New Year. We will be back next time we’re in town.

Food was good but more importantly the staff was really nice with our kids which was a bit of a surprise given the location and style of the place. We weren't sure if we would be welcomed but we definitely were! I am assuming the lady who served us was the owner because she just gave my daughter a free dessert (picture)! If she isn't the owner she sure is a great ambassador for the restaurant.

Fantastic pizza, incredible people, and atmosphere. My boyfriend and I walked for a slice, and after the first bite, we knew we were getting a second slice. Portions are perfect, with thin crust and fresh ingredients. Wonderful flavor! Employees are so sweet and welcoming. We are definitely coming back! It’s a must-visit in Ybor City. This is the best authentic NY pizza I’ve had in a very long time. The owner is lovely. They are opening another location where wines from different regions of Italy will be showcased. A must attend. Tonight is Christmas Eve, and Gyo, the owner, graciously gave me a bottle of wine to take with me. Gyo, along with all else here is charming all the way around. A must do in Ybor City!!

Stopped in for dinner on our way to the Hard Rock. The single slice pizza was plenty to fill you up. Large selection of soda, beer, and wine. I def want to try the pasta next trip. My only dislike is Ybor parking is ridiculous. $15 minimum for the lot we parked in.

My husband and I stumbled on this little slice of heaven on a one night trip to Ybor. This is by far the best pizza I have ever had in my 47 years on this earth. If I could have given 50 stars, this would’ve been the one! Gino was amazing, his personality was excellent and we ended up staying there most of the evening. We actually bought a whole pizza to bring home with us so our girls could taste it. They loved it as much as we did. Gino was nice enough to give me a jar of his marinara sauce, my only regret is that I did not buy 10 more while we were there. Definitely will be stopping here again on our next trip to Ybor!

Pizza was really good sauce could be better, slightly lacking flavor but overall it was very satisfying. I'm giving 4 stars total experience because a homeless guy came up to our table and asked for a slice. We gave him one then he asked for $$. Not really my cup of tea. Large pepperoni was $30!

My coworker, Stacy, recommended we meet here. I couldn’t be more pleased. The barbecue chicken pizza was delicious and the cake, with a perfect amaretto flavor, was a treat to the palette. I was so amazed by the skill of the dough being tossed in the air as it was shaped. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the owner Gio and was pleased to see an owner, not only work and serve his customers, but interact with them. I try enjoyed the atmosphere and menu. I have recommended to my college niece, friends and fam. I, without a doubt, will be back.

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight and we absolutely loved it! Everyone was so kind. The portions are huge!!! We had four slices altogether, chicken parmesan (plus a garlic knot), as well as a beautiful portion of cheesecake. It was all amazing!!! Definitely planning to come here again soon!

Presentation 5/5 Service 2/5 Taste 3/5 Our experience started with poor service from the person taking our order. Price charged didn’t match the menu price. No cups for water so would have to buy bottled. Employees did not wear masks. The Caesar salad was good. The chicken parm looked great, but unfortunately the sauce didn’t have much flavor and the pasta was overcooked. It only included one thin chicken breast where most chicken parm dishes have more chicken for the same price or less. The cheese was good. Garlic knot was not our favorite. Maybe we should have gotten the pizza, but there were a lot of pizzas out on display (+ more in racks waiting to be on display) so we weren’t sure how long they had been there.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant as the owner and employees went over and beyond the service today. We ordered 3 different slices, fresh pasta, and 2 beet salads (which was delicious. Homemade dressing) I will be back soon enough.

This place in Ybor and close to urban hangout Gaspar. The pizza is to die for and the salads are amazing and delicious. The wine costs are ridiculous if you buy a bottle. I suggest one alcoholic drink, then head across the street to get your real drink ok. A must visit.

First time ever we went to Tampa and randomly stoped by at this pizza place. It was my son’s 5th birthday and of course he asked for pizza. Pizzas were amazing especially the spinach mushroom was my favorite. The cheesecake was on point as well. Tiramisu didn’t seem like soaked the sauce well but still great. But here is why I rated 5*. THE SERVICE! They played the birthday song in our language and and everyone in the restaurant was clapping and singing for him. They went above and beyond to make him feel wonderful. The clientele seemed to be almost all regulars. Everyone walked in knew the staff by name. Even if we were there for the first time they made us feel like we were long time regulars. Lora I’d like to specially thank you for making my son’s day super special. This restaurant is a whole lot more than what you’d have expect from a casual Italian diner. If I go back to Tampa we’ll DEFINITELY go back and we highly recommend 👍🏻🙏🏻💯

If you are looking for excellent pizza and reasonably prices, this is the right place for you. I have a family of three. We filled up and still had half a pizza left. One slice is plenty to satisfy an adult. The restaurant's vibe is great, and the staff is friendly. I've tried pizza all over the country and this pizza joint is in my top three.

We have been coming here for several years now. The staff here is so nice. They make you feel at home. The food is spectacular. A trip to Ybor isn't complete without watching them throw the dough in the air and sampling their gourmet pizzas and desserts. At home we use their sauces and pastas to make some of our favorite meals. Their sauces are stand alone excellent. But in this photo we added some hot Italian sausage and with sauteed vegies and garlic to the Ariabatta sauce and it was off-scale good. A++ Top Italian food anywhere!!

So me and my boyfriend were craving "New York Style" pizza. It was after 10 and NOT a whole lot of pizza places open. We found this place due to being open until 3 AM!! Parking was horrendous; given it being on a Saturday night! The line was out the door!! Pizza was good; although wish I would've chosen a different topping. I got the white pizza; which was WAY too much cheese, but my boyfriend ordered bacon Ranch and lasagna pizza and it was delicious!! Crowd was hype, employees enjoying the atmosphere; interacting with all the customers, music playing and everyone having a good time!! All in all it was perfect for what we were looking for❤

This is my first time making a review, but I couldn’t be happier to make it about Due Amici! I got a large pizza for me and my family, best and biggest pizza I’ve ever had! The guy at the cash register (which I think might be the manager) was so kind! after I bought a coke, I asked to buy another drink which he gave to me for free. He also went around making sure everyone was enjoying their food. And to top it off, he was so generous to give me a free $9 cheesecake for me and my siblings! I would definitely come again. 🍕🍕❤️

This place is amazing. The pizza and pasta is some of the best you’ll find in Tampa Bay. During the day is a really relaxed place to grab lunch. At night, they get very busy but food quality remains outstanding. Service is also incredible. The owner is always here and keeps everything moving along. I was here the night of the Super Bowl after TB won. It was chaos outside, but the restaurant kept a safe and cool atmosphere. If you’re in Ybor, you should stop in.

I simply loved the whole experience. The pizza brought me flash backs of NY but better. The gentleman there ( who I assume was the owner) was so welcoming that I forgot I was at a business, and more like at a family members house. From the first time I visited this place I liked the variety of flavors in the pizzas and the excellent service offered by its owner, but today I visited it with my family and I received unpleasant attention when ordering my pizzas because a person with little time working in the place, he told me that he would not give me that pizza, that I should decide for another, I kindly asked him that I wanted that vegetable pizza and his answer was, decide for another pizza because I will not cut this one. It is not the kind attention that identifies the owner of the pizzeria. These types of people should not be in customer service.

Visited here on 10/24/22 to grab a couple of slices to go to heat up for dinner tonight. The pizza was a 7/10, the service was fast but the price was high at almost $6 for one slice of Bianca pizza. There is another pizza place just a few blocks down with better prices and better pizza in NY NY pizza that I would suggest overall vs Due Amici.

Amazing atmosphere, good service and an awesome menu ranging from the pizza itself to the bakery. Super high quality food for the same price as the “New York style” pizza joints. The staff is super fast and helpful even on a crazy weekend night in ybor. You won’t regret coming here.

The pizza and service were very good! Very comparable to Eddie's and Sam's. I have to give it a 4 star because a slice of pizza shouldn't cost $6. (At Eddie's it is between 3-4.75) Their overall menu is slightly overpriced, but it is good!

Due Amici's in central Ybor city is a wonderful place to get great food and a variety of drinks at a reasonable price. The ambiance of this restaurant is enlightening the moment you walk through the door. The owner, Geo, really runs a very good show here. His large menu choices of pizza, salads and desserts are very appetizing. The restaurant which is located right in Central Ybor City, is one of the finest I have been to around the Tampa area for pizza by the slice or a whole pie and an excellent variety of pasta and salad choices. They have a large capacity of safe seating and the restaurant is very clean. Their pizzas and salads are made with the freshest ingredients and their slices of pizza are the largest around. All their pasta is homemade and everything is made in house, including all of the wonderful salads. Geo also has two special pasta sauces that he promotes, one is called the pink sauce to support cancer research and the blue sauce that supports autism research and awareness. Before you leave the restaurant, I encourage you to pick up a bottle of one of these sauces. They are both excellent and when you purchase a bottle, a portion of the proceeds will go to the research that pertains to the story on the back of the bottle. As soon as you walk in to Due Amici's, the fine appetizing aroma and atmospere will catch your senses for a wonderful dining experience. I highly suggest you come down to Centro Ybor and dine here at Due Amici's and say hi to Geo and take home a bottle of pink or blue pasta sauce and maybe even a bottle of wine!

Went to a pizza place down the street and left because my boyfriend told me he had been here once and it was way better, and boy was he right! The atmosphere was great, the costumer service was great, and best of all the pizza was incredible, The owner also gave us free cannolis which were heavenly! I love that the pizza is hot and well seasoned. Its always a hit. Been going here for years. My favorite is the buffalo chicken and the pepperoni. They have sauces for sell. Its one of the nicest, modern pizza spots on the strip.

Great pizza place in ybor! When ever I go I always seem to end up in this spot. Having gone to all 3 pizza joints in one night I think this is the best if the 3 followed by mama rosa's.

The owner was there and was very kind and attentive to all of our needs. The pizza was delicious. The lasagna pizza was mind blowing. I highly recommend getting a few slices of that. Due Amici is an Ybor City staple and has a friendly, casual atmosphere and great customer service in the heart of the historic district. We live in the nearby neighborhood and enjoy coming for the pizza by the slice and also love their house-made sauce and pasta to make our own dinner at home during the week. Would recommend the cavatelli with arrabiata sauce (spicy). Don’t forget a slice of their delicious red velvet cake too! 😋

He makes great Italian sauces, one in particular comes from his mother, he decided to donate a percentage of the sales for a cancer foundation. The pizza and pasta here is always delicious and I never pass up the tiramisu! Only thing that I've seen that's a con is depending on who's making the pasta, it's never been consistent with taste and texture; such as they'll give me grilled chicken one time but fried the next or their pesto sauce will be creamy but then oily the next visit... tastes good but not as well as the 1st time.

We couldn't decide...pizza or pasta? When everything is homemade it's tough. We split a piece of lasagne pizza as our appetizer then ordered pasta, one chicken parm and one chicken alfredo. Everything was fresh and quite tasty. They have a full display of fresh pasta, salads and desserts! It's a neat place with a cool atmosphere and great food!

Amazing! Best pizza I might have ever eaten, and omg the cannoli! I'm lucky to even know how delicious their cannoli is, as it was gifted, simply because the marinara wasn't yet put in our to-go bag, when they said it was all ready. So, yes, incredible service, too. We went on a Saturday night and they were busy. It wasnt a problem at all to walk over to a different counter for the sauce. Still, they gave us that little (omg, so good!) extra dessert bc of it. It feels good when a business appreciates you, as they do. The food and service is consistantly great. Bravo! 😙👌 (Tiramisu...just tried it. I could cry...SO good! Cheat days are the best! 🥰

If I could give this place a thousand stars I would. The authenticity of this restaurant is unmatched in Tampa. All of the pastas are made fresh on site (for all my vegan and gluten free friends, I heard they will be doing a special pasta for us soon). The restaurant is clean (even though they're undergoing renovations) and the staff members are so friendly. The bar has a wide selection of alcoholic as well as non alcoholic drinks to choose from. The menu is simple but extensive in the same respect. If you haven't been here you are missing out. The location gives you access to everything that Ybor has to offer. Grazie Due Amici!

Every time my friends and I go clubbing, we usually stop by this place first for a pizza so we don't get too drunk. However, we didn't have time yesterday to stop beforehand so we went afterwards. As you can imagine, there were two very drunk Asian women with three sober friends all wanting a slice of pizza. It was really noisy. My cousin (sober) wanted a meat pizza but the guy couldn't hear her so she ordered pepperoni instead. I (drunk) thought I'd get the meat lovers and just switch with her. At the counter, I switched the pizzas and drunkenly threw a pepperoni pizza across the room. They were very kind and forgiving and just handed me another pizza at no charge. After we all sat down, my friend (drunk) and my cousin went to the bathroom so my friend can throw up. She ended up puking halfway between the table and bathroom. Again, they were very nice and just quickly cleaned it up. If I could, I'd give this place a 5 star rating 50 times over. Thanks for dealing with our craziness. On the bright side, my drunken self thought to take pics of everyone's pizza so here are the pics. The pizza here is really good by the way. Will be back, but next time a lot less drunk.

The owners are so nice!! The pizza is DELICIOUS! We had the Fresca which is similar to a Margherita pizza. Filled up off of 1 slice! The wings are good too. I also bought their homemade sauce. When you buy 2 jars, you get FRESH PASTA to take home! Definitely worth the visit.

We waited for a while in a line, but considering their line extended two shop fronts down and they make everything fresh it wasn’t that long. We were recommended by a local who is from New York. My new favorite pizzeria in Tampa! Great selection of specialty pizzas and desserts. They also carry Coppola wines and their own house-made pasta and gravies. Wonderful dine-in experience. The owner, Gio, is very sweet and served us complimentary cannolis, joyfully presented on a crisp white plate with chocolate drizzle. Went here after seeing it recommended online when looking for a pizza place in Tampa. We did not know it was a pay by the slice pizza place but actually liked that because of all the types we were able to try. We ended up getting 4 types and loved them all. I HIGHLY recommend the margherita pizza! It was somewhat pricey but overall we were very satisfied. To top it all off, the service was amazing. One guy, who I assume was one of the owners, was extremely helpful and really friendly throughout our time there. There is great pride here..Gino walked around and made sure everyone was happy. We even got to try a delicious cannoli and it melted in our mouths! We ate our pizza (the slices are huge!) and drank our beer (great prices for high quality domestic and local drafts) and sat by the window to people watch the always entertaining Ybor City 7th Ave. We always send family and friends here and they never disappoint. I stepped into Due Amici and instantly knew I made a great decision. The staff welcomes you authentically. The decor is trendy, lovely and Clean. I sat at the bar and ordered a sangria. It was wonderful. The bar guy was super friendly. I ordered a chicken Ceasar salad. It was love at first bite!! It was fresh and the combination of dressing , chicken, Parmesan cheese was spot on. The music was soothing, the atmosphere was great. The owner popped in and said hello to everyone. It was just a fantastic experience. And of course the pizza by the slice is like being in New York! Stopped here on Saturday January 26, 2019. Around 3pm. Not many customers here as it was during Gasparilla and in between meals. Was not really sure how to order at first. And there was not just cheese or pepperoni pizza, you had to get extra meats or toppings premade, if you wanted just a slice. The girl at the cash register was handling drinks too. She was repeatedly coughing without covering her mouth, even when handling beverages. This was probably the only thing I did not like here The bathrooms are in the back, almost like you have to go through the kitchen and down a black hallway. The pizza and stromboli was good. The marinara a little sweet to the taste. You get one refill on fountain drinks. Sounds like Italian was being spoken among some of the employees. Would come back as long as the girl coughing doesn't do that all the time.

Ybor city has several pizza options to choose from but I'm going to tell you why you should go to Due Amici. Due Amici is the newest pizza place to hit the Ybor area, recently turned over from a prior pizza place that was pretty good Due Amici has fully remodeled the inside to bring it up to speed with the modern world. They have a large open floor plan with a pizza display and prep station right in front of the window, with a small bar. The inside is gorgeous. Food wise when I happened to be at Due Amici they had a ton of different type of pies to choose from along with strombolis and calzones. I was pretty impressed with the quality of food it was really good and cheap. My favorite pizza place in Ybor has always been NYNY but honestly, Due Amici is so close that at this point it would really depend on what side of 7th I'm on at the time.

I have to say if I could give six stars. We stopped on a whim because I was craving pizza and there’s like 1,342,722 pizza places in this area but I had a feeling and I was right! This pizza place is my favorite in the whole United States,dont tell my husband (former pizza owner in Boston). Even though they are 40 min away ,I make special trips to try various pizza flavours .I have never been disappointed . On a recent trip we had to stop over to treat our guests before sending them back north ,we were disappointed to find it closed. It was around 2Pm .We knocked on the door and explained that we had wanted our friends to have their pizza and we traveled there almost an hour .He was kind enough to give us four slices (free of charge ) they were cold but still delicious Thank you ,cant wait to come back ,but Ill check on your hours first because I didn,t expect that it would be closed in the middle of the day

By far one of the best places to go for pizza! I love to go bar hopping then finish the night with some Due Amici pizza! Chicken bacon ranch and BBQ Chicken are my favorite. The employees are friendly and really know their stuff. The crust is crispy and the slices are huge! Just two and I feel like I ate an entire Domino’s large, but it’s got 10 times the quality 🤣 I also love the pasta sauces they have! The Vodka sauce is probably my favorite and I always leave with a jar.

This place is top notch! Warm and welcoming right when you walk thru the doors. Extremely family friendly environment, roomy and spotless! The owner and his wife always give deserts away to many of the children that come in with family's. Once you eat this pizza you will drive 60 miles one way like we do, coming all the way from a little town called Noblton, just North of Brooksville FL.

Couple for Saturday lunch, 2 slices of pizza and two draft beers, 27.00 including tip. The food and beer were very good. The downside was that the restrooms were in terrible condition, especially the womens. Womens toilet wouldn't flush among other items. They definitely need to take care of this situation. After the the mangements response, I add the folowing; A remodeled facility can still be dirty it has to do with attention to detail. The toilet did not flush and it was brought to the attention of the employees. IMHO the correct management response might be, we are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and we will try harder in the future.Thank you

I love this place but depending on whose at the register, there is an inconsistency in the employees and how they charge things. I was here 2 times this week and wasn’t charged for water with my pasta or my pizza. Today I come in and I’m charged 2.64 for a bottle of water after I ordered over $20 worth of dinner to eat inside the restaurant. I said something and he said he couldn’t do anything about it. I would switch to cups of water or don’t charge water for people who are spending a decent amount of money and dining in.

Tortellini salad was good, lasagna average but the review was really dragged down based on the cannoli which was literally the worst thing ever. Soggy and zero flavor other than a funky stale taste. I can't believe they even call it a cannoli. Also for some weird reason you can't order lasagna on the app without ordering a coke or drink which is a waste of money.

After driving 7 hours, we hit this place after some searching and then a short walk from our Airbnb. We got 2 single slices each and canned soda - I got a pepperoni/mushroom slice, he got a 3 meat and we both got a chicken/bacon ranch. Was about $30 but it was good food, nice atmosphere. Think it's neat they're selling their sauce in local grocery stores. The desserts looked amazing but we were full.

Was walking around Ybor with my family when we happened upon this gem of a pizza spot for a quick bite to eat. Originally being from NY, trying to find even a decent slice of pizza in Florida is a lot harder than you'd think. The pizza here was delicious and the slices were a nice size. I can eat 2 to 3 slices easy and just 1 slice from here left me more than satisified. We had a variety (meat lovers, BBQ, Buffalo, pepperoni, margherita and cheese) not one was disappointing. The atmosphere is super chill and I especially loved watching the women making fresh pasta. One of them blessed my kids with some cannoli's on our way out and they enjoyed it very much. Simple, honest good food and people who care. You can't go wrong eating here.

I have been coming here for years...but only for a drunken slice. Yesterday, I went and decided to switch it up and try the pasta with arrabiata meat sauce. The garlic knot bread that came with it was unreal. I am not even a fan of bread or pasta, as I usually avoid it. Anyways, the pasta almost brought a tear to my eye it was so amazing. Long story short, I went back today and nothing changed. I told the owner how much I loved the pasta. He told me to come back tomorrow for the best lasagna I will ever have ever had in my life (lasagna is my fav pasta dish)....count on me being there. omfg, the pasta is amazing here...that's all I have to say...oh yeah, I think they have pizza, too. Update: I went tonight and had Lora's pasta with meat sauce and kicked up in spice. It's on the top 5 best things I've ever eaten in my life. I love this place!

Very quality pizza joint in the heart of Ybor, Due Amici can’t be missed as you’ll walk by and see them tossing the dough right in front of you. Their service is meticulous (taking large swaths one at a time instead of steadily serving) so be prepared to wait and then be quickly processed. Some of the best pizza I had by far. You can noticeably see they use high quality cheese by the way the flavor stands out in the pizza and the stretch of the mozzarella. The crust had a awesome crunch and taste as well. The sauce was some of the best I've had in my life. Yet, it's sad that there was almost none on my pizza. Such a great thing gone to waste. The Buffalo chicken pizza and barbeque chicken pizza was great. Cheese pizza was good -ooey and gooey. They also make, bottle and sell their own sauce, which is really good too.

Awesome pizza by the slice with tons of selections to choose from. Open late which is great for all the late night partiers needing a pick-me-up. The kitchen is right when you walk in so you can see the pizza dough being kneaded by hand which is super cool.

Love this place ! It’s my favorite not only is their pizza really good,I could just imagine how a pizza in Italy would be . My fave is the BBQ chicken but they have the lasagna one and many more which are really good , the cannolis are delicious! The costumer service is A1 they’re very considerate, super nice and the area is so elegant and I love that they don’t play lyrical music just instrumental! The owner went to our table a couple times to ask how was everything and I really liked that ! Thank you so much for your wonderful service , I will definitely come back.

I've been coming to Due Amici weekly since I moved to Tampa. The pizza is hands down the best in Tampa and has the highest quality ingredients. Their pastas and desserts are fantastic as well. The owners and staff of Due Amici are some of the most kind, caring, and genuine people I've met. THE FOOD - their pizza variety and quality is second to none. You can get any type of pizza by the slice or by the whole pie. I have yet to try a slice that I didn't enjoy. I highly recommend picking up some of their sauces and some freshly made pasta for a quick meal at home. Their cannolis and tiramisu are great. Seriously have yet to find something here that I wouldn't recommend. THE PEOPLE - the real reason we keep coming back to Due Amici is because of how amazing the staff and owners are at Due Amici. They've helped us celebrate birthdays, pregnancies, and marriages. I'll never forget walking into the shop on my birthday and Geo blasting "In da club" by 50 Cent to celebrate. They recognize our orders over the phone and remember us every time we go in there. We feel like part of the family when we're there. I know they treat each one of their customers with the same level of love that they give us. They've done an incredible job to keep the shop clean and safe during the pandemic and continue to provide top quality food and service despite the challenges we face today. Amazingly good pizza! The staff is probably some of the best on the entire Ybor strip. Friendly, courteous, and fast. You will likely see a line out the door but that is not because they are slow, it's because everyone goes here at some point. You can't hit the Ybor strip and not stop and grab a slice. The interior is very nice. It's like New York in Tampa. They have the best New York Style pizza. I get the extra large for pick up to go. Vegan and vegetarian options I think. Sauce and toppings to the edge would improve the experience for me personally.

My husband had been dying to try this place after hearing all the great reviews. We finally decided to try it while strolling around Ybor City and it did not disappoint. The pizza, the wine and the atmosphere were truly amazing and let’s not forget the yummiest Cannolis. The owner himself checked on each of the customers and thanked each one as they finished their meals. That doesn’t happen very often and it is one of the main reasons we enjoy going to businesses where the owners truly care. We also left with their homemade Arrabbiata Sauce and pasta. We will definitely be going back.

I was graving pizza while walking through Ybor one night and was recommended to this spot, I gave a four star rating only because while waiting in line you can see the how the cooks make the pizza, I was turned of by the person making the pizza due to him using his phone while handling the due that turned me off, also I notice that he had red bursie on his arms that he used to put the pizza on. Upon entering to place my order I had no issue with that. I noticed the guy who was cashing out orders stay in gaged in every single customer, I was amazed, he provided free drinks to some customers that order bottled water or other drinks, I heard him say over and over "if you don't like it, its on me" then he would say "this drink is free" the service this guy displayed was very refreshing to experience. Pizza was ok, this review was really for the older guy who was checking out customers. Sorry no pics.
