Had the steak tip salad, shrimp quesadillas and pot stickers. All were very good. Good size portions and tasty flavor. Would order all again!

Was not impressed. You sit In a bar, it is not at all a nice restaurant. The building itself is old and worn out. The apps were great, then to the entree. The wife had a new York strip it was 46$ I expected it to be around the same quality as a Ruth's Chris for that price, it was more outback steakhouse quality. I would expect to pay around 20 to 30. I had colossal shrimp scampi and the shrimp was not cleaned properly it was still sandy. For the price I was expecting a way better dinning experience. Service was good.

Service was attentive and pleasant. Food was well prepared and good. Plating of entrees could use a little more flair vs just the protein on the plate. Table side caesar salad was well done but too much dressing vs romaine. Fun birthday greeting on dessert presentation even tho we only ordered one dessert at the table. Facility is dated and a/c was struggling in the bar and restroom areas. Thankfully in Dempseys, it was working. Place could use remodeling, but it was nice for a birthday dinner out for family. Oh since they have no other options for parking, I think charging for valet is a bit odd? You do arrive at one place and the restaurant is about a 4 to 5 min golf cart shuttle away.

Very good dinner & dining experience. Service was very attentive, helpful & courteous. The steak was cooked perfectly (as it should be in a steakhouse). Dessert was amazing too. Definitely a place to try when you’re at Saddlebrook.

Amazing food! A little pricey for 1 adult and 2 children, however it IS a resort, so it is expected. The staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive!

Best special occasion restaurant in Wesley Chapel. Or if you just want a great meal. Food was wonderful. You get what you pay for, really! The grilled oysters were outstanding as were the diver scallops with pasta. Steaks, Rack of lamb & crab cake highly recommended as well. We had a table of 4 & split 2 different types of salads as well as the sides. They make a table side Caesar Salad which is a must have! We ordered 4 sides to split and we had extras to take home. Cassie our server was fantastic and a delight.

Gee, I wrote one review already but it didn't make it online. That says something, doesn't it? So, I'll summarize my first attempt here, and maybe it will make it to you all this time. We returned for a second meal after experiencing a costly but worth-every-nickel dinner the first time we went. We left disappointed the second time. Though the poor waitress was very nice and polite, the fellow who made us our tableside Caesar lacked ingredients and personality. We were virtually alone in the dining room's dated decor but still had to wait for each & every course. The steaks too just weren't as good as we had the first time round. I hear there are other places worthy of our next steak - Bern's, to name one - so once we go there, we'll report again. Bring cash and prepare for a less-than-relaxing and average meal in a dark place that is obviously past its prime.

Held our daughters 16th birthday at Dempsey's Too and Yvonne did an amazing job setting it up for us in a safe outdoor environment. Her communication and understanding of our needs was fantastic. Sandy and our waiter did an outstanding job as well make the evening a very enjoyable one for us and our daughter. I highly recommend.

1) Google maps directions are wrong, 2) valet only. Those things should be front and center online but they aren't, don't know why. Now onto the food! The food was delicious. As good as other expensive steak houses. I have 2 reasons for giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The girl up front was straight up rude to us. We walked in and she didn't even look at us, smile, nothing, just walked away with a couple who came to ask a question. She asked if we had a reservation and made a face like, "because we won't have room for you if not" even though the place was empty. I'm sure she's perfectly nice in real life, but she shouldn't be at the front of the house. They should move her elsewhere until she's more comfortable up there. The other reason is that the food is outrageously proceed for what you get but almost no atmosphere. It's at a hotel restaurant, and it's nice but you walk through basically a pub styled restaurant area before getting to the nicer seating. If pricing was half, I wouldn't have knocked it down for the ambiance. But if you're paying $200 for a date it should WOW you, not just the food. The rest of service was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. Explained the whole menu to us and why we may choose one dish over another depending on what we are looking for. The rest of the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a great date night and if you can find the alternative directions on Google to get there and not end up in the tennis courts you should go 😊

I must say I was blown away. Hotel restaurants are often crappy because they have no reason to be the best since there is a captive audience staying in the hotel and would eat there simply out of convenience. This place was incredible. The service, and the food were top notch. I tried a lot of food, and everything was THE BEST. It's also a convenient place to eat when you're staying at the hotel 😂

Service was top notch. Menu is ala carte so can get a little pricey but one steak could easily feed 2 people as they are huge. Dessert selection fantastic. The Brussels sprouts were not great though. I'd stay away from those next time. Price point high but great overall experience. Very quiet.

Restaurant is dated, like walking back into the 80's. Had a beautiful steak, baked potato came out warm at best, had to wait for second potato while my steak got cold.. The second potato was warmer, but not hot. Our server Taylor was delightful....

Excellent food and excellent service. Perfect for entertaining friends or just a wonderful night out with someone special. Located at Saddlebrook Resort this Steak House offers up some wonderful steaks and chops! Shrimp cocktail was excellent as was the salad!

A very family-friendly ambient in which anyone will feel comfortable. Staff will always greet you with a smile and be attentive of your needs. They also have a bar and a big variety of drinks. Food is really good with big portion sizes that are worth the price.

Food was good, but my girlfriend asked if medium rare was bloody and was told it was not. She liked her steak and ate half. But it was a little more bloody than she wanted. We told the server and just got a basic response. I wasn't asking for a free dinner but maybe something like a free desert or something. Also he acknowledged that it was not cooked right. He was very attentitive in the beginning. But after we got our food he was slow for the remainder of the time.

Atmosphere was nice, service not the best. Took forever to get a refill on water. The waiter was nice but talked way too much about the menu. Food was ok. For the price, I've had better. Best thing about the evening was the man I was with. Thanks for a great evening Joe.

It's okay, but Bern's is better and honestly cheaper. I'm not a big fan of having to order giant sides to split and I feel like the appetizer bar should be included for the price of a meal. Great food, but really expensive.

The steak quality was good but my wife said her portion was cold and the seperation of the filet and strip portion wasn't great. My strip section was cut into segments but not into uniform sizes or shapes. The service was good.

My wife and I are looking to Dempsey's and tried it for the First time. This restaurant is in a gated resort community off of 54. During our visit we had to park at Valet and be carted off to the restaurant by a resort cart. You enter the restaurant be walking thru a sports bar. The ambiance is not what you expect from a restaurant claiming top tier pricing for their 28 day wet aged steak. The room it self not decorated in anything remarkable. The is no theme. Who is Dempesy? Is this place a golf course restaurant? Any way. The food is quite good but not great. My wife and I shared an appetizer of oysters Rockefeller. It was OK but not outstanding. I had the bone in Ribeye (the waiter advised " we are the only one around with this cut!,". The steak looked beautiful. with some kind of butter on top. However it was virtually lacking ANY flavor. It was tender,.yes, but flavorless. ( If I want tender flavorless steak I order the Filet.) I was completely underwhelmed. My wife had the BONE in Fillet ( The cut of beef that actually lured us to this restaurant ). She was extremely pleased with it. Sides of brussel sprouts and smashed potatoes very good. Desert was outstanding. At the end of the day it's not quit as good as you hope it would be. Service is pleasant but spotty. Dissapointed in this restaurant.

This was supposed to be a great place for steak dinner in the Wesley Chapel area but I was not impressed. The service was rather slow and not very friendly and the food did not impress me considering the HIGH prices. There are other steakhouse I like a lot better than this one.

Ate at the sports bar. I was annoyed at first because the wait was long for no apparent reason, was served by my sister (Lol, no bias here but she is a great server), food was delicous but overpriced. Why are there tablecloths in a sports bar? Definitely get the cheese board or the Irish nachos. Both awesome and worth the price in comparison to everything else on the menu.

A hidden gem. Everything was perfect, from appetizers of scallops and grilled oysters to entrees of a lamb rack and steak, including the amazing service. A great place for a special occasion, as it is pricey, but well worth it.

Excellent food and service. Was there as part of a larger group, service was like I was at a small table. Steaks were perfectly cooked, the potatoes were great and the key lime pie was a perfect closer.

Dempsey's is a very nice high end steak house. The French onion soup is delicious and the fresh Ceasar salad is made table side for two. They're known for the cowboy rib eye steak and it's just delicious. I expected it to be a bit bigger and was surprised at the size of the restaurant when we went. It's a little akward having to valet your car and then walk or take a golf cart shuttle to the restaurant. I don't think there is a self park option.

Expensive . Nice place. If you live in property easy to find. Take an uber to save on wasting your money on horribly slow valet service. Food was ok. Tapas/Salad bar was good. Wait staff and all employees were very nice
