Me and my family love this chain of Restaurants! Seafood Buttery Garlic style platter is what we always order! Shrimps, snow crabs, and other seafood goodies. Their corn and potatoes. Their bar drinks are really good! Great meal, good pricing.

Outstanding service and the food portions are huge. The meals are worth the price. One tray of seafood can feed two, unless you are really hungry but that is a lot of food for one to eat. All in my party enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time visiting. A little pricey but sooo worth every penny. Food was amazing. Had the whole shrimp and crab boil. Great drinks and staff was great. Had an awesome time there for lunch. I highly recommend it!

We wanted a steam pot and found it with amazing service! Antez made the night magical. The boom sauce was a big hit, just get it!!! With the steam pot, hubby and I went over and over what the best part was…hard to say, the whole shrimp, crab legs, mussels, clams and sausage were all perfect!

My 4 year old daughter and I went in for lunch yesterday and I must say that it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The food was really good. I had a frozen margarita and I really enjoyed it,I can't wait to go back again with my husband.

Wow! First time here... GREAT atmosphere! Food was FANTASTIC! Beers on tap, attentive service & good selection of food. Would recommend to a friend/family. If your price conscience be sure to check the menu online but definitely worth it! See pics for what we ordered! Being picky would be nice if they had grilled chicken for salad or grilled tenders however understand it is a seafood 🦞 place! Gloves/bib provided to stay clean while eating! 😉

I’ve eaten here 3x dining in and once delivery. It’s so good I went by myself one of those dining in times. Fresh, tasty, great service, etc… The only things I’m not a fan of is the soup and key lime pie. The cheesecake is bussin tho.

Huge portions and delicious. I had fried tilapia. This entree had 4 pieces of tilapia couldn't eat it all . Very fast service also.

We stopped in here on a Friday evening only for drinks prior to dinner. Although I can’t speak for the food, I can say the bartender and servers were all very friendly and attentive. The drink prices were also very reasonable. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, which I’m not sure is good or bad.

EXCELLENT! I can't even remember the last time I had a meal that was this satisfying! I got the Garlic Butter seasoning on my platter. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! The service was Excellent as well. Can't wait to go back!!

Ordered here about 2 months ago it was so good I had to come in to check out the atmosphere. Low light with sea decor made the place seem nice and comfy. Since then I've tried 2 other places and no one has compared to the level of detail this place offers. The prices are well worth it for the portions, full flavor, and overall extremely satisfying. The staff is extremely nice, helpful, and eager to serve. My friend Pete ordered today and asked a special request to make 2 or the 3 boils hotter than listed and AGAIN they did not disappoint. Left me and my friend in happy tears and sweats. I've been ordering from here now once a week and after today's meal I don't think I want to try anywhere else. Update 11/16/2021 Here it's been months since my first review of this establishment and yet again the service was so great and food so good I had to update everyone. You heard it the first time and you'll hear it again GREAT SERVICE and even better food. Jenny and Joyce made my night. Thank you all for continuing to make this fat boy happy.

I was there memorial day weekend 2022 and they just started this Father's Day special... dungeons crabs, snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn for $99...it was huge, hot and more then enough for 2..infact 3 adults could have eaten this comfortably... literally the best deal... I wish I took a photo but I was so hungry and the boil was so hot...I wanted to dig in to the dungeons meat!!! I will be back again!

We've been to one other place like this in Brandon, and I'm telling you the food here is awesome everything steamed in a big bag king crab special the king crabs were delectable you must get the scissors by request and you can go through these things like hot butter yum yum then you do the lobster tails and you do the shrimp the potatoes the corn we did the Cajun medium combination garlic butter wow.... We ordered the spicy rum pina coladas and Sarah worked our table happily she was awesome we will be back make sure to take the Uber LOL for those pina coladas. This place is two thumbs up for the food awesome.

We had such a great dinner there tonight. The food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. We made reservations ahead of time and did not have to wait to be seated. Our server Tere, was so kind and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and recommended the best sellers. We will definitely come back here and would love to have Tere as our server again.

Went here on a Saturday night and was impressed starting with the service. Friendly and informative. We ordered the calamari appetizer as well as the gumbo. Both were excellent and came out hot and fresh. Our drinks were good and definitly not weak like you find at many places. For dinner we had the Snow Crab and Shrimp bag with the boom sauce. Also the Fried Shrimp dinner. I have had fried shrimp at many places and it's all about the batter. This batter is spot on!!! The seasoning was also perfect on the Snow Crab. One suggestion for the restaurant... It would be fantastic if there were combination plates for the Fried choices on the menu. Shrimp and Fish as well as Oysters would be a great combo. WE WILL BE BACK !!

We are from out of town and recommended this place by a local. Definitely did not disappoint. We ate 2 lbs of snow crab and it was amazing!!! Definitely recommend the buttery garlic in the medium spicy level. Amazing!! Going back again before we head home!!

My wife and I had scheduled a pickup for 9:45 through the website. We got a call at 9:18 asking if we were still coming and that the food was ready. When we got there to pick up, food was already lukewarm. Also, for spending over 30$ on each of our plates, some more respectable sides would be appreciated. Only gave 2 small potatoes and 1 half of a corn cob, each. Really is unacceptable for that kind of price. Will be looking to have a satisfactory crab boil somewhere else next time.

We had the fried catfish and shrimp baskets. Food was very good, waitress was great. However, we found the prices quite high for the atmosphere: paper tablecloths, paper towels on a roll, and we were only given forks, not wrapped, just handed to us. I gave it 3 stars because the food was good, but we won't eat here again.

Very good overall experience. Service was good, prices not terrible...about 50 bucks for my wife and I with an adult beverage each. My shrimp boil with butter garlic, medium spice, was very good, shrimp cooked nicely. Could have been a little spicier but that's personal preference, can't knock them for that. It's nice that they give you a head-on shrimp option...it's the way to go if you've never done so before. Will certainly go back for a second visit.

Our first time to Crafty Crab! We each chose the 1.2 lb shrimp and snow crab with potato and corn. I seasoned with butter garlic and mild in the toss, it was delicious! We also had the crab cake appetizer and they were very good. Not the best but they were all crab, just not very many lumps. Not sweet, but otherwise really good. We also shared the fried oyster basket with hush puppies. Not to much breading and the puppies were yummy. Our waitress was very educational, helped us a lot. She was a great server and checked on us often. Now the question of would I go back. If I can't recreate that sauce, etc. Us. We do a lot of seafood at home. They specialize in bills. Saves a lot of time and no work to go sit down and let them bring you the bag. Yes, is worth it and you can get some really big servings. Pretty sure you'll love it!

The price here is very reasonable! The service was good and their sauce is delicious! Their blue crab tasted a bit old and not a lot of meat/skinny, but their king crab is delicious and thick! Customer service is a plus since our waitress was super communicative and friendly.

UPDATE ** Since last event I’ve been back twice! The food is always great and one of the the managers did advise that if there is ever a ln issue with my order to please call in 😇 Why 2 stars when the food is GREAT?! Well, bc lately they’ve been cheating me. I love this restaurant, I literally eat there EVERY week sometimes TWICE a week for nearly 2 months now and always buy enough for 2 ppl.. so you do the math. Well unfortunately, last week I purchased the crab 🦀 & crawfish 🦞 bag and there was literally barely any sauce in the bag & the crawfish were so tiny I know for a fact they didn’t weight 1/2 a pound. But, I didn’t sweat it. What’s 1 mistake (possibly, right?) Well, as of today (5/25/22) I purchased 2 different bags, a crab 🦀 & crawfish 🦞 & a whole shrimp 🦐 bag separately. With each bag should come with 2 potatoes 🥔 & 1 corn 🌽 (unless you select otherwise). My shrimp 🦐 bag was missing the corn 🌽(only 2 baby size potatoes were given) & I feel in my soul I was not given a full half of a pound, & again my crawfish 🦞 were tiny, ESPECIALLY the corn 🌽 this time around. I’m disappointed ☹️ in Crafty. If I pay for something that’s exactly what I expect to get. Twice already I’ve been cheated, which is irritating 😠 bc I spend good money there EVERY week and I’m not exaggerating about how often I go, so I expect the same amount of food every time. (Check out the post below mine, you’ll see how small their corn 🌽 is, it’s like that EVERY TIME) In reality this restaurant doesn’t give any coupons, customer reward points, or more food when the pickings are slim. But yet will not give a customer ALL of the food that was paid for & give the tiniest crawfish 🦞, potatoes 🥔, & corn 🌽 I’ve ever seen in my life.. where’s the customer appreciation & respect here? At this point I have to bring in a scale and weight my food and count how many corn 🌽 & potatoes 🥔 are in the bag.. Really Crafty?? Now I’m not saying to NOT visit, bc the sauce (BOOM SAUCE) is great, but pls bring a scale and count your food bc they will cheat you.. or better yet, buy their sauce and cook your own seafood 🤷🏾‍♀️ That’s my next option.. Crafty, Please do better.. like you were when I first started coming, or give some type of customer incentives..

I have frequented Crafty Crab restaurants in South FL however here in the Tampa restaurant, the Cajun shrimp boil was strong and could've/ should've been a bit more liquified however the reason for the 5-star is our server Mina who was the kind of server I wish worked at every restaurant. She broke down the menu in a simple manner, made recommendations and gave us tips on how to mix and match our food which I already do so I knew that she knew exactly what she was talking about! Best of all, Mina was very personable. I would return just for her.

Food was good, our server, I believe his name was Quincy, was fantastic. He was so accommodating answering questions about spice levels because this was our first time. He stayed masked the entire time and I overheard a conversation from behind me that he had with two guests who were trying to get him to take his mask off (not because they couldn't hear him but because they didn't believe in masks). He handled it so smoothly but it made me realize that for me personally, I need to be extra careful where I decide to dine due to the proximity to others. The booth backs are high so I felt comfortable. Enjoyed our outing and the food was good.

Celebrating daughters birthday and was not disappointed. All included had some sort of Seafood Boil. Keep your seasoning preferences low as they are quite strong ( alot of seasoning added) Cocktails were average, but we didn't come for those. Service was excellent, and very polite. Seafood was fresh and not rubbery. Restrooms were very clean and easily marked. Enjoyed the family atmosphere and will definitely return.

Great seafood. Will definitely go back. Took a star off because our waitress wasn't on point and our food wasn't steaming hot when it hit the table. It wasn't cold, but I expected the boil bag to be steaming hot and it wasn't. First thing I did was cut into my potato and if it had been freshly boiled that potato center would have been steaming.

Me and my girlfriend went in for dinner and ordered a snow crab boil special with garlic and mild seasoning the food came out amazingly fast the quality/flavor of the food was amazing we also ordered gumbo on the side our first time trying it and we were not disappointed! We came here on a Saturday night around 6:30pm. The place was packed and they were short staffed but that did not stop our waiter Quincy for giving us the MOST AMAZING service. He did not stop running around the restaurant for a second. We were pleased with the quality of food and the quick and thoughtful service. When we come back we will be sure to ask for Quincy. Food was good, but service was off. when we got there our server kept telling everyone that she had been the only server there for a while. She took our order quickly and then left. it took 45 minutes for us to get our drink, she said it was because the bartender wasn't even there yet. He walked up nonchalantly and handed us our drinks when he finished. and it took a while for her to get back to our table so that we could pay the bill. I know 5:30 is a little early for dinner but don't open if your staff isn't there.

This is my favorite new place to eat. It is way better than Pinchers. The food was perfect. The seasoning was spot on. The waitress Jay was phenomenal. She made the experience amazing. They have a good beer selection. I highly recommend you go to the Crafty Crab. You will not be disappointed.

Limited-menu seafood joint. Probably one of the few places around that offers seafood boils and clambakes, though. Friendly staff. Fish (tilapia) and chips was not bad; hush puppies were tasty, but grainy; fries were not oily. On the high end, in terms of price, for tilapia ($14).

Lobster tails were fresh. Service was good. But the seasoning sauce is way too salty (we ordered 3 boil plates with 3 different sauces to try them all) . My friends have high blood pressure and were very uncomfortable eating the food because we didn't want to waste $150 worth of food.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food. Our waiter was Quincey and he was very kind. The spice level mild is truly mild. Next time we may order medium to get more of a kick. The seafood boil is very tasty. The establishment appeared clean and my husband said the men's restroom was clean. I felt the prices were very reasonable for what is offered. I had the catfish with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. The fish was seasoned perfectly. The fries were crispy on the out side and soft on the inside. No complaints at all. I had about 4 pieces of small-medium to medium pieces. Witch probably equal two medium-large pieces.

First time here, I'd have to say hands down great experience. My husband's Birthday so he chose the place I have to admit im not a big fan of seafood neither are our children, But my Husband is! so ill admit I was a bit skeptical entering this place. But once inside we were seated quickly and greeted shortly after by our waiter. Very clean place. The waiter his name Quincy very knowledgeable, seems to really know the place and makes you feel very comfortable. once we told him it was our first time he pretty much broke down the entire menu and the list of specials and the best way to order. I admit I was a bit confused how it all worked how it was going to come out ... We got the snow crab and shrimp boil it tasted amazing best part was the fact I guess the waiter over heard my son say Happy birthday dad .. because next thing I know he brought out a huge peace of cheese cake with chocolate drizzled all over it and said Happy Birthday and didn't charge us for the cheese cake ... The waiter is definitely a great asset to this place he made our experience one of the best maybe even from any restaurant I've been. ..

Tried the Crafty Crab for the first time this evening. Everything was average. Service was not bad, but not excellent. The restaurant wasn't that full but it took a very long time to get drinks, place our order, receive our gumbo. Lobster / King Crab Boil was average. Crab was a little fishy and not as sweet as I would have liked. Shrimp was good but stay away from the mussels and the clams unless you like chewy shellfish. And the gumbo has never met a Cajun! Not sure I'd go back?

Discovered this unique restaurant and they have thought about just about everything for making a messy meal clean. Gloves, bibs, wipes and meal presentation in the bag, ours anyway, was neat. Our server guided us first timers through all the tricks. Rolled our bag down for us and was attentive throughout.

I dont like leaving a bad review when our waitress made up for it. However we waited about fifteen minutes between seating and ordering. Our waitress was wonderful, the food was delicious. I order the lobster boil special, mild heat and garlic butter sauce. I chose not to wear gloves or a bib but after washing my hands and taking a shower tonight my skin still reeks of garlic. That's kind of weird. Also, I still loved out waitress getting our food out so fast but I asked for water twice and maybe she didnt hear me. I never got water.

Delicious food but, not following mask policy. It goes OVER the nose. While waiting for my food for pick up I saw at least 4 employees with masks around their chin. One was at the bar making drinks and they were not wearing their mask properly. No telling what they are doing in the kitchen.

I love this place! Cajun seasoning is on point and the crawfish are pretty big. Shrimp nice and juicy and meat practically falls out of the crab shells! Good service and clean environment. I can't say one bad word about this restaurant. If you enjoy shellfish the way my son and I do, prepare to walk into heaven!

Best experience ever with my MCE. They really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, mommy time. The prices are right and won't break your pockets, especially if your wining and dining your kids. Also, the staff were friendly and the facility was clean.

Gumbo wasn't warm, even one of the employees said I'm surprised you ate that much..... The chicken wings were terrible, tasted like dirty oil. Crab legs overcooked and service very slow and unattentive. Shrimp was great though, no complaints there!

The onion rings appeared to be standard frozen fare. Boil had good flavor but shrimp was overcooked, and the piece of corn was about three inches long from the pointed end of the ear. Flavorful but small. For the price I would expect the seafood to not be overcooked.

Nothing special at all. Ended up getting a fried basket because there wasn't a grilled fish option with crab. Actually there was not a combo that I would have liked it been able to eat all of. The fried stuff had a weird aftertaste to it as well. Service took a while also.

On 02/29/2020 I finally decided to try the seafood boil and let me just say, I'm glad I chose Crafty Crab. It was my first time tasting a seafood boil and what an experience. Not only was the food amazing the customer service was great as well. I wish I new the ladies name to shout her out but she answered my questions and was not rushed to get off the phone. I definitely recommend this place.
