Came based on the reviews and bc my Latina wanted seafood. As we sat, I began to wonder if the reviews were paid for. Too many 5 star reviews with photos and no owner responses. The food arrived in good time. I was satisfied the portion of the Filete de Pescado. And very pleased the flavor of the Cilantro Rice Pollo, but disappointed the dinner only came with rice and no additional sides. The service is subpar. Waitress didn't return once the meal was delivered. She never gave us refills or asked if we wanted another. Once the check arrived, she disappeared again and there were only two other tables (Tues evening). The prices are way too high for what you get, which is basically fried fish for $19 or rice and chicken for $19.

Our family had never had Peruvian food before, and we were all blown away! I don't get their low star ratings because every single item we ordered was phenomenal. If this is not good Peruvian food, then I can't wait to eat in Peru.😄 The service was excellent, and the restaurant had a very upbeat and inviting vibe. The Latin music on Fridays was great too. We moved to the area 3 months back and have already been here twice. We'll definitely will be back, and will bring friends. One of my favorite places to eat in Tampa!🙌

The food I had was quite good. I forgot the exact name but the dish was like this.. Imagine a seafood paella, but with fried rice as you'd get from Pei Wei, not a typical Chinese Food restaurant. Service was very good despite our large party of patrons. Be aware, gratuity IS included on your bill for a large party. The smell was not the best. I may have found the problem, it was sewer smell coming in the bathroom which smelled bad, as if a P-Trap was dry. This keeps water in the U-shaped pipe (think of under a sink) as a barrier to keep smell and bugs out (I saw no bugs). There was no mention of the smell from the staff. Easy place to find on Northdale.

Love this Peruvian joint! Had the Lomo Saltado and it was exquisite! It came with a beer infused Cilantro rice and the sauce was absolutely to die for!!!! Make reservations and you get to stay for the entertainment! I will be back!❤

Service was good, our waiter was nice. Food was good but the arroz chaufa was very oily, still tasty. The jaela mixta was delicious. Wish the decor was more authentic and the music (salsa music was playing). Music at times was loud and would stop due to I’m assuming bad Bluetooth/internet connection. Overall, would return.

What a wonderful, energetic and joyful vibe on a Saturday night! We are not Spanish but still enjoyed the live music and the dancing. Expected more from the ceviche appetizer but The fried snapper and cilantro rice were very tasty; we will be back!

I am Peruvian and this is the closest I get to Peruvian food in the Tampa Bay Area, the food is fresh and very flavorful, if you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food this is the place to go, I’ve been there 2 times and I’ve had the causa de tuna, the lomo saltado and the jalea and it’s amazing I def recommend this place

Some of the best food I have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered Causa de Atun and it was delicious. Then ordered lucumai ice cream for desert. Both dishes were fantastic. For me, service was amazing, the waitress was very attentive the whole time. Will definitely be coming back. The prices are indeed pretty expensive. This is because a lot of things are made in house. Would love to see this place prosper and cannot wait for my next visit!

Amazing I dont understand how anyone could rate less than 5 stars. I made reservations for 8 pm on Friday the service was exceptional and food amazing. We had tostones with steak for appetizer, cesar salad, pollo salteado. Multiple people were checking on us making sure we didn't need anything. I live nearby I will be back many more times! Not to forget there was a dj with live music.

My girlfriend has been homesick and misses her mothers cooking. So, I looked into nearby restraunts. This is my first time having Peruvian cuisene, some of the best food I've ever had. She is feeling so much better and is glowing seeing me enjoy her culture's food but also being reminded of her mothers cooking. Getting a taste of her culture and nostalgic drinks such as Inca kola, it really touched me and has me dying to learn from her mother. The food can be pricey but so far it has been very much worth the price with the quality I've been shown so far. I look forward to ordering more not only when she is visiting but for myself as I'm just in love and hope to see the quality of the food reach this same level for the next time I order here. The Mariscos fried rice was incredible!

Had a great time here, I came to eat here for my mother’s birthday for dinner and it was awesome. I recommend eating the ceviche as the dish was really good. Gerald was a great server for us he was very friendly and helpful and he even also gave us birthday cake for my mother’s birthday and sang happy birthday and we didn’t even have to ask. A great Peruvian restaurant overall!

Costanera is hands-down the best Peruvian restaurant in Tampa! The service is always timely and friendly. Food portions are very generous and good for sharing; I highly recommend trying the medium spicy fish ceviche and the lomo saltado or jalea. I really like the Peruvian sangria too; it’s so refreshing. Also, we have celebrated many birthday parties and holidays here over the years, and I just love that they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays too. 5 star experience from start to finish!

I come here a lot on Saturdays when they have Karaoke. There is a great atmosphere and people treat each other very kindly and some like family. Not only is it a place for good times but also for even better food! Never had a problem with the delicious food or with the great waitresses. I would very much recommend this to anyone!

Went to celebrate my husband's birthday yesterday & the experience was fantastic. The waitress had great customer service and the food was delicious! The food will take a little while to come out, but be patient because that only means that they are carefully preparing your food. Trust me, when it comes out you will enjoy it. The papa a la huancaina was delicious and the tallarines Verdes with pollo salteado was excellent! Perfect size servings. Family friendly, which is a plus for our big family and very accommodating. It's one of the best Peruvian restaurants that are still out here in the Tampa area. Definitely recommend 👌

Amazing food , environment, and service. The flavor of the food is closest to authentic Peruvian as your going to get. I could order from this place any day with confidence that I know I’m going to get a quality meal with colorful flavor every single time like clock work. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Very welcoming wait staff. This was my first time at a Peruvian restaurant and I was not disappointed. I got the cilantro rice and chicken yum. Great place to have a family dinner or even lunch with a coworker. The food is absolutely amazing. I have never tried Peruvian food this good. The service is just as amazing. I was treated so good by the workers. I should also mention that the owner is always there which is even better because he keeps the restaurant looking clean and organized. On my first visit, I had the grilled chicken with white rice, good portion but I just simply didn't like the taste of either. I went again a few months later for a party and the experience was great with live music entertainment and this time the food was very good.

I ordered the pescado a lo Macho my wife ordered the Filet de Pescado, both were pretty good, could have been a little more savory but good. Service is the reason for the 3 stars. After being seated, we ended up getting our food AFTER a group of 5 AND a group of 2 came who came in after us. The group of 2 was actually sat after we had already placed our order. That really turned us off from wanting to return or recommend this place.

Chef Eduardo es unico. His English isn't great but if you speak Spanish and want to fall in love with the story of Ceviche before loving the taste ask for him and ask what ceviche means to him!!! Definitely recommend

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, we both shared the jalea, the waitress informed us before has the peons are large, and this was, more than enough for two, or kids had the chicken syrups with French fries. Everything tasted fresh and presented very nicely. The sender was very nice and made sure everything was to our liking. I love Peruvian cuisine, so I can tell you that this place has great Peruvian food! The owner is very accommodating and friendly, and oversees the entire restaurant. The food is always fresh and served with care. Most weekends they have live entertainment. The place is very poplar with the Hispanic and Peruvian community.

I can't understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars. It's the best Peruvian we've had in Tampa. My husband and I always get the Ceviche and Chaufa and it's delicious. They give huge portions of food too! Yes the place isn't the fanciest but the food is AMAZING.

It never fails to amaze me when I read reviews about a person or places. To give honest critique is one thing, but giving mean spirited comments is another. One gentleman commented saying "the music is too loud". I say to him, get a life. This is a commercial establishment where people are partying. Get over it. I have not been to the restaurant yet, but I met these nice people at Conga Caliente, a Latin music festival in Tampa. I ordered steak. It was taking a little long as they were still setting up. They gave me Cerveche free of charge, it was delicious. They saw that I was very tired and brought me behind the counter and gave me water. They took my email and said that they would give me a free meal on my birthday. When my order was done, they doubled my order. That is Latin love baby. Love trumps all!

The best Peruvian food I have ever had if you are unfamiliar with Peruvian food please note that several potato dishes are meant to be served cold also this is not an ala carte restaurant or may to order this is Peruvian cuisine it is not American Cuisine where you can ask things to be made to order these are set recipes that are authentic I will come back again and again the server Diana is articulate and educated she is fluent in both Spanish and English and understands everything that is on the menu please be respectful that you are entering a Peruvian restaurant not an American restaurant do not ask for the dishes to be altered they are made a certain way as someone who is a foodie and has been critiquing Food 4 years this place is perfect exactly the way that it is I am beyond happy and satisfied

Las cervezas que se pidieron (4) en diferentes ocasiones y de diferentes marcas, todas estaban poco frias. La chicha morada tampoco estaba fria. La coca cola de lata tampoco estaba muy fria. Solo el agua que se pidio (y solo porqué se pidio con hielo). Con respecto al servicio: a pesar de que las meseras son agradables... El servicio es muy lento. Nos trajeron las comidas ademas de tarde (casi 30 min.) en tiempos distintos (un plato primero... Otro plato despues... Otro al rato, lo cual ocasionó que no todos comieramos al mismo tiempo y juntos.... Ya que si esperabamos se enfriaba la comida.... Tambien se tardaban bastante al traer las bebidas (esperamos alrededor de 15 min. Por una cerveza). Y para terminar haciendo mención de los cantantes... Son buenos, cantan bien, ponen musica actual, saludan al público e interactúan con ellos y animan el ambiente. Para concluir.... Ambiente agradable, muy rica la comida, músicos y musica agradable pero malo el servicio en cuanto a tiempos de espera y nivel de temperatura de las bebidas. P.d.: La ensalada César: no le hechan queso parmesano.... La sirven en un tazón sólo la lechuga y los crotones y el aderezo aparte el cual es muyyyyyy poco para la cantidad de lechuga y no es muy bueno que digamos.... Osea: "no nos gustó la cesar" El ceviche es sabroso.... El arroz con camarones es sabroso... Unas papas que pedimos de entrada con una salsa color rosa que esta al empezar el menu, les faltaba coccion, estaban duras, los filet de pescado son ricos, los platos de niños (salchi papas y los pollitos) es bastante comida para un niño.....

This is my favorite place on Fridays. The food and service is excellent, all with the best music and the best atmosphere.
