We had the opportunity to check out their Pizza Deluxe with ham, mushroom, Italian, sausage, pepperoni and spinach and we were very impressed with the overall freshness and taste. Being from the Pizza mecca, NY, we consider ourselves pizza aficionado's and this pizza did not disappoint. The cheese blended well with toppings without masking the flavors of the pizza. Our only small gripe and this is just a matter of opinion, we wished the sauce was more acidic and less sweet. Ordering process was painless and staff was very friendly. We will recommend BlackJackPizza to our customers looking for a better option pizzeria in Tampa.

Freaking AWESOME! First time in and had no idea what to expect. Ordered the large square "Meatzza". It was crispy, crunchy, doughy and cheesy all at the same time and in exactly the right places. I absolutely love it...New favorite. It even won over my wife (very picky) and her sister visiting from New Orleans (the land of awesome food). I will be back many many many times. I would call this Detroit Style Pizza, and I'm sorry if this is a turn-off, but I mean it in the nicest way, it's similar to Little Caesar's deep dish, just way better! Edit: years later, still my favorite pizza in Tampa. Can decide between the thin crust and Detroit style squares. When I have company in town and we're looking for local pizza, this is it. Thanks for being so consistently great!

Came in 30 mins before closing and got the cheesiest crispiest best pizza of my life. It was DELICIOUS. My husband and I ordered a large extra cheese square pan pizza and a small cheesy bread... The cheesy bread was ok to me, my husband liked it more...but OMG the pizza... crisp crust even though we had a20 minute drive... The sauce is so flavorful and helps balance the creamy richness of the cheese. Can't wait to come back 😋💑💖💖🍕🍕🍕

I ordered this pizza off of Uber eats and was very pleasantly surprised. Sometimes with delivery, by the time the pizza gets to you it’s soggy and cool. My pizza was hot, crispy, and delicious. I got the small square pan pizza with sausage, mushroom, and green peppers. Nothing was skimped on and I had enough for lunch the next day. I will definitely be back!

Honest feedback for my first experience… I ordered a round pepperoni pizza. The cheese, sauce and pepperoni were all tasty. The crust is a little on the chewy side for my taste preference. I’ll give it another try with their square pizza and I’m interested in their sides.

UPDATE. PIZZA IS BETTER. Delivery is still great. Deals are great. Managers all seem to be good or better. No complaints and lots of compliments! Fast delivery, great salads, reasonable price but the pizza sauce that was delicious earlier is not much more than bland tomato paste now. Very disappointing.

Delicious! Order Always ready when they say it will be when ordered online(i pick up). Food is Delicious and toppings are always fresh. They do mess up orders ever once in awhile, usually when they have someone new. Most it's ever been was light sauce when we ordered extra, But they usually make it up. The pizza from this place certainly wasn’t bad but I think for those that haven’t been up north to NY/NJ just frankly haven’t experienced the real thing. Very happy with this Blackjack (it’s the first and only Blackjack I’ve ever been to). The pizza is good and it’s a change of pace with the chain pizza shops but where Blackjacks really excels is their chicken wings. Meaty and delicious. The “mild” wings were too miles so the next time we ordered “hot” and they were much better but still not what I would call hot. Still. Delicious!!! I highly recommend.

INCREDIBLE!! Stuck at Verizon and spotted this place. Lunch specials are an amazing value. I got the salad and breadsticks for 7.99. GIANT SALAD with meats and cheeses in it! The breadsticks might as well been called a pizza, LOADED with cheese and such a wonderful texture and the size of a pizza! Go here!! You will be glad you did!! Can't wait to try the other menu options. Square and round pies look scrumptious!! Think Valpak offers coupons as well!

Had my eye on this place and met with the staff about a year before the pandemic. It was great pizza and service then and i am so happy they have retained and exceeded my expectations in those regards. The staff and managers are always available to answer questions by phone, the delivery is fast and they listen to handling instructions. The pizza is just great, and im going to tell you right now of you are on keto and need to have pizza this is the place to go. You DO NOT UNDERSTAND what this place is providing for people on a low carb diet in this area of town. There isn't a delivery service, app or in store that can serve a pizza suitable for keto and while people might nit pick the crust they use based on certain metrics I have had great success incorporating delicious pizza while losing weight and say its an amazing dirty keto option. I have been and will continue to order the cauliflower pizza every weekend. I understand adding the cauliflower crust was a new idea for them and hope they continue with it, before this I haven't had pizza in over a year and I thank them so much!

My GPS thought I went here, but I was actually at the UPS store next door. But I ate there two years ago, and it was decent. The only pizza place I know that sells ice cream, let alone Blue Bell. That said, when I walked by, I could smell the pizza ovens, and it made me think of the time Bo taught me to make pizza at Splitsville. I still think of him every time I spin a piece of dough in the air. Thank you, Bo. It makes me happy to reminisce like this. That's a nice thought.

There is something about Blackjack Pizza that I am in love with. I usually always try the most boutique-y places, but once I tried this, I make sure we come back almost every single week. Such good pizza! They need to work on their coupons being recognized in their computer system, but that's minuscule compared to the deliciousness.

The pizza here is very unique. Where other places may try to impress you with how they coal fire their pizza or their exotic toppings, this place has great toppings with some great pan style pizza. I haven't come across a place that makes pan pizza as well as they do in the Tampa area for the price. Its cruchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Its unique and tasty. They also have gluten free round crust as well.

The pizzas here are really good. I got a free pizza in the mail, and although it was just a small pan pepperoni pizza, it was one of the best one I've tried in South Tampa. They also give you a lot for the topping and the small pizza is surprisingly large. I have not tried the homemade ice cream so that is next, but I think for the price it is definitely well worth it. I would definitely come again.

The pizza was delicious!! It was not what I expected- not slices, but big, thick squares. They wrap them in foil so they stay so hot!! The lunch special is a great deal- two squares and a bottled drink for six bucks. The staff was nice too! My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I wanted to add a couple toppings and the lunch special is cheese or pepperoni only. I offered to pay extra, but they couldn't do it :( I like to customize and would probably go more frequently if you could change it up and add toppings to your pieces. Overall great experience though thank you!

Only ate here once so far. I got a large pepperoni, rectangle pan. The crust was so good I ate the 4 corners first. The sauce was a little different from what I am used to but still good. I haven't eaten the leftovers cold yet so I don't know how that is. During a lunch or dinner rush this plaza is busy and finding a parking spot is tricky.

I usually dont order things like ice cream or any desserts for that matter from pizza spots, but their homeade ice cream was surprisingly really good. My kids LOVED the cheesy bread and cinnasticks. My vegan sister had their salad and really enjoyed it, which is very much a compliment cuz she is super picky. The staff is sooooo GREAT!!! Weve eaten there a couple times since they recently just opened I think around November. We have had it delivered and have picked it up. The staff is always on point when it comes to the order being correct. They are all very friendly and really welcoming. Now last night I ordered some pizzas 🍕 for a slumber party. My pizza didnt show up untill 20min after they said it would be delivered. But I always know any pizza place especially on a friday night, especially in the heart of South Tampa during 1 of the busiest times of the year due to it being Gasparilla time, is going to take a little while longer then usual. That was the only time its taken them that long 2 deliver pizza to my house. I still tipped the young lady 20%. I will also be ordering again next weekend for our HUGE Gasparilla party we are throwing during the parade. Hope this review helps some of you decide whether or not 2 eat there. Give them a try!!!
