Great little pizza place with good customer service and good pizza. I would recommend changing up the meatball appetizer. Not really what we expected with what we got other places. Meatballs where good just needed a little mozzarella cheese on them and maybe give a little more seeming the size. In the pictures you will see what you get. But I would eat there again!!!

Ordered three things yesterday, an eclair, garlic knots, and the lasagna with meatballs. The eclair and knits were on point. The lasagna had problems. It needed to be chilled to get the flavors to set into the dish correctly. But after chilling and careful reheating, it was delicious. So if you order the lasagna and something about it isn't tasting right. Try chilling and reheating to set the flavor.

Had a craving for a Philly cheese steak today so I went for one. Not disappointed. Asked for the meat to be chopped fine and they did it. Came hot and very flavorful. Would recommend.

I ordered frequently from them, never ordered from anywhere else. Then I stopped when they hiked the prices up. There is a pattern of prices that never changed on my bank account, but paying $29 for 14" (18" in the $30's range)Pepperoni Pizza alone is enough to make me order two large meals from McDonalds that would be more filling for 2 large number 5's (10 Piece Nugget Meals) for $20.40. Not as healthy, but a large meal alone weighs in about 43 oz, enough to fill me up, but a 14" pizza at 15 oz? Idk, I think we know who the bread winner is here, and I saved $9 for my gas tank.

was absolutely wonderful gem in the rough. had great pizza - good crust. salad was delicious. chicken wings could have been fried but settled for the baked.. we ended up taking them home I popped him in the air fryer and they were wonderful. Everything self-serve ordered at the counter did our own drinks and the staff brought us at our food it was a nice little sit-down and crash like you do at home kind of place. We will be back again !

Fantastic New York style pizza. Their lunch special is great you get two slices and a drink for $7. The slices are huge so I usually share. Service is good, everyone is friendly, and the stores kept really clean. Try the Buffalo Chicken pizza on Mondays, it's amazing!!

UPDATE: I take back my 5stars and give it a 3, price went up, pizza got small with less cheese and the new workers just dont give a FORK -Bam Born and raised in NYC and this is the closest to New York pizza, great taste, good price, very friendly (BUT) my only problem is every time I order EXTRA CHEESE, they confuse it with a CHEESE SLICE which is a regular..... we all know a regular slice has cheese already , KEEP IT SIMPLE - REGULAR OR EXTRA CHEESE....... I still give it 5Stars🌟

It has a more rustic feel to it. But the staff was friendly and food was good for the price. You get 2 large slices of pizza and a fountain drink for $7. Would recommend trying for any pizza lovers.

Since they transitioned from Westshore Pizza to Big G's I've really seen, and tasted the difference. I feel more effort was put into the visual aspect of the restaurant. Was updated it a bit to make your experience a bit more comfortable while eating. The food was HOT when it arrived to the table. The service was great, and we were treated well.

This is one of the best pizza places in Tampa and has become our Friday night treat! ! They have the best calzones, Strombolis and wings! The pizzas are delicious and prices reasonable. Also, the Philly cheesesteaks are good. Very good portions! The staff is also very courteous!

Over a dozen ready-made pies, just waiting for you when you arrive. I personally love looking through the glass and selecting a couple of the most excellent slices. This is going to be one of the best tasting crusts that you're going to find, here in the great city of Tampa. Spread the word. (Great cheesesteak too.)

Visiting from NY, I was looking forward to seeing how Florida pizza can taste. I took a chance on Big G's and it was surprisingly good. The crust had a nice char on it (which is hard to do w/out burning the rest of the pie) and the pizza sauce tasted different than I'm used to. the pepperonis were not very good, they lacked some kick or spice to them. But the banana peppers I added made up for it. Lastly, the pizza held up for delivery very well! Tasted like it came right out of the oven.

Had a half Hawaiian half cheese pizza and it was delicious! The outside was really Krispy yet the inside was really soft. Their wings were really good too, and most importantly the staff was nice and friendly. Will definitely come back!

Pizza was good. I was shocked to see this location had changed names from Westshore pizza. Apparently it is the same owners. Ive frequented this location as Westshore Pizza on average 2-3 times a month and no issues ever with service. No problems with service this time however I was not greeted when I entered or when I approached the counter. The workers were all indifferent including the guy at the counter. This stood out to me because as I was leaving the guy coming in as I was headed out was greeted upon entering and has he approached counter. That will be my last visit, I like to spend my hard earned money where my service is appreciated

Awesome pizza, chicken wings were wonderful. Since COVID started so many places have declined in service & quality. I finally found a great place that has awesome quality. Been searching for pizza & wings via many different restaurants in this area and I finally found one I am happy with. My entire family loved their food and I highly recommend them. Keep up the great work. And for those who continually complain about salt packets and parmesan cheese packets, remember COVID changed the rules of what can be put out at restaurants now. Plus the supply chain has limited many businesses in getting the items that they used to have. Try using a little patience and understanding. It wouldn't kill you to thank a person who was actually there to make your food.

I added this review on 3/14/21. This one is my original: Best hamburger in town! Tonight was my 1st time ordering a hamburger and it was amazing! You can get two extra large slices and a cold drink that you can refill as much as you want for $7.00. The pizza tastes good ! A decent amount of toppings, cheese and sauce are adequate, plus fresh mushrooms not canned, how nice. Also, their crust is very much like NY pizza's crust, crunchy, chewy, and tasty. I've stopped in here for many years.

Been going there for years. Pizza was great as usual however when I asked for some garlic and some barbecue sauce I was floored when they said there would be a charge. Stopped by this place because I was a bit lost, what a find. Pizza looked good, but I had the Chicken Philly with mushrooms and onions at the encouragement of the lady at the counter. Boom it was fantastic... I will dream about it.

I was concerned that Westshore Pizza on Lambright was gone! For years it was our go to place for a beer, cheesesteak and a slice or two of pizza. Very happy to find out it was only a name change. Still great pie and the best cheesesteak anywhere. Take it from a Philadelphia boy! The staff is the same and friendly as usual, can’t beat the place for great food and great service. We gladly drive the 20 miles, one way to eat there.

Don't know why, but we love this place. No frills good pizza and cheese steaks. The staff has always been nice and friendly and the food has been delicious everytime we've been there. There is plenty to look over on their menu, especially on game day. You just can't go wrong with a cheese steak or any of their pizzas, they will fill you up fast.

I used to live right down the road from this Westshore pizza location around 15 years ago. The owner and people working there were amazing. It was great to stop in and check the place out again. It didn't feel the same in there. The atmosphere seemed a little more like, get your food and go. I enjoyed the steak and cheese sub though. Thanks for the memories.

I used to stop at this location when Westshore Pizza was the name. The pizza is every bit as yummy as it has always been. I highly recommend the Spinach and Feta as well as the White Pepperoni. I tried the spaghetti last week and though its good but I probably wont order it again for a while. The taste of hot sauce in the blend put me off giving this place a 5 star. Service is helpful and fast. And I will be back for that pizza again and again. Love tbis local gem.

I own a pizzeria in another part of town. If I'm not near my shop and want pizza, this is my go to. Their pizza is almost as good as mine, but their calzone and garlic knots I have to say are slightly better than what I make. Overall this place has great service and awesome food.

We order from here ALL the time and are ALWAYS pleased. I have to say what prompted me to write a review was based upon UBER EATS and their failure to deliver our food. I contacted the pizza shop and they went above and beyond for us, they remade our food fresh rather than giving us the food that had been sitting for 2 hours due to Uber refusing to deliver and then taking our food back to the shop to sit while we had to go out of our way and pick it up. We will always come here because they actually do care about their customers. I really appreciate you guys going out of your way and taking the extra step to make us happy. Thanks!

By far my favorite chain to grab a pie from. NY style with great toppings. Do yourself a favor and give their cheese steak sandwich a try, maybe get a little crazy and have them add some bacon to it. They usually have some sort of special or coupons out there for a deal

Perfectly find for cheap and good pizza. TV screens all over the place showing sports, but it's NOT on loud so you can ignore them. It's also not dark the way some sports "bars" are. It's not a bar though you can get beer. It's totally family friendly. Have only had the pizza and garlic knots (what you'd expect), and a cannoli-- which was pretty good for Tampa.

Stopped in to pick up a couple of pizzas. It's relatively close to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa which is nice. It is a stand alone store. The customer service was good and the atmosphere seemed relaxed.

The pizza was actually overall great maybe a lil crisp would be better but it was good! Now my reason for a 3star is due to the fact that extra toppings can not be added to a slice unless I buy a pie! now that outrageous plz consider changing that policy because besides Eddie and sams you guys are my second choice!

Eddie makes the best pizzas. I always get the white spinach pizza.....Its is seasoned and oh soooo good and there is always enough cheese like a pizza is supposed to be! I have been to many Westshore pizza and none of them come close to Eddie's pizza skills. Eddie gets off at 2pm on Saturday and I rush there al the way from Wesley Chapel passing all the other Westshore pizzas just to have him make our pizza! 🏆🏆🏆

If you happen to be one who uses utensils to eat pizza this may not be the place for you. The ultra cheap paper plates they serve your tasty but extra greasy pizza on is near impossible to eat with a knife and fork. The pizza slides all over, the paper plate rips before the pizza cuts and you now have grease/oil leaking everywhere. Good tasting food, good service for a pizza joint but they definitely need real plates and silverware especially when people run in from the office and attempt to keep food off their sleeves.

The indoor area looks very outdated and nasty. The leather is peeling off of some of the couches the tv looks older than dirt. It's just not a good looking interior in my opinion. However the pizza is ok.
