This is one of our favorite places for pasta in Tampa Bay! This family-owned business always impresses us with their hot baked pastas and their friendly hospitality. They always have a great daily special whether it's with their pizza or pasta and the food is very quick and made to order. This was their Sunday special which is pasta a side of salad with one topping for $7.99. I definitely recommend eating here for great value and amazing food!

You can tell that ownership/management care. Food was good, service was even better. Alex was very attentive and helpful along with the rest of the staff. Large portions. Pizza has a medium buttery crust. Not sure if other crust options are provided. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

My super hot wife took me on a date here. This place is the bomb! $3 for a beer!? Get outta here! That’s insane. The garlic bread appetizer was bigger than my you-know-what, AND they gave us a free one with my wife’s pasta. The food was awesome. Portions were HUGE for very fair prices. This must be the only restaurant in America that Washington D.C’s inflation hasn’t destroyed. Service was incredible and they even gave us a to-go cup for the lemonade.

I've been coming to this place for at least 15 years. There are many ABC Pizza Houses but not all are built the same. So far none of the other locations can match the spaghetti they serve here. Not sure what spices they use but it must be something special. I haven't had the pizza in years but it was always good and they have a much better topping selection than your standard pizza franchise

Pizza is always off the chain delicious. We ask for it thin crust. Which is not a thin crispy crust but a slightly thinner crust than the hand tossed style dough that is standard. And we always pair our pie with the large Greek salad, double scoop of potato salad. I even put some salad on a bite of my slice for a pizza-salad explosion of flavor. A local favorite. Highly recommend.

We’ve been eating here since I was a kid! Still the same great food! Consistent always good! Reasonable prices, friendly staff. We split the Greek salad. Was delicious!

Wednesday is spaghetti night! Huge portion with 3 big meatballs and special for like $6. I eat half for dinner and half for lunch next day and always add extra meatballs. In the last year I have had alot of different meals here. The sliders are amazing.. Pizza is amazing. Everything is so freshly made.

Loved my server, Angie, very attentive & sweet. Loved the veggie pizza: thick, flavourful, good bread, and not too many mushrooms to mess up the flavor. Ordered the sangria and it was very good: blackberry, cherry and orange flavors. This is my 4th visit, recommend!

So, the last time I ate here was probably with my family about 25 years ago! Some of my favorite memories were of this place. My brother and I would play at the arcades in the back. Off-road, cruisin’ USA and a couple other classics. We moved away from Florida about 22 years ago. So glad to see you guys still alive and thriving! Memory lane!

The food and atmosphere for a Friday night pizza was what we’d expect. We had some hiccups with the food taking longer than expected and staff realized our order was sent off for to go. Mistakes happen but the manager or whoever was in charge took care of the issue to make sure we stayed and enjoyed their menu. We were in no hurry so we appreciate the service that was extended to us on a busy night. We’ll definitely be back.

My order arrived quickly and was accurate. The "chicken fingers" were terrible. Not real meat, but ground meat/parts shaped into strips that were rubbery and bland. The pizza was ok. Seemed a bit "pre-fab" like chain pizza or something. But it was tasty. Not terrible over all, but I don't know if I'll order again.

Amazingly good pizza and cheese bread. The cheese bread almost reminded me of those Hawaiian sweet rolls but mushed down. It was so so good. The waitress was friendly. She packed up our food to go and was accommodating when we added a pizza at the last minute. We will definitely be back and will be telling everyone how good it is.

If you don't go here to eat pizza in the area then you are completely missing out. This is better than any other pizza place in Florida! Great pizza, awesome spaghetti, and the BEST salads around too. Make sure you get the Greek salad with potato salad. It's amazing.

This is the best tasting pizza ever made. Im not joking. I love it more than any other. I just get the pepperoni but it is all good. I wish this ABC was closer to me but i make the hour plus roundtrip anyway because this pie is head and shoulders above all others imho. Throw in their Greek salad with the house dressing and you are ready for a 2 day nap or 2 day feast either way! I hope this place never changes!!

Such disappointing experience 😞 The food is generally very good, but ONE SIMPLE instruction of "please, NO ONION" - fails every other time, just like today:( I try to not be difficult and trust them and not check, and leave a tip for a simple take out, and they fail me so often by putting this f...ing onion to spoil our family dinner. Sad.

I just had the most excellent experience with ABC Pizza House. I was in a bind where a different restaurant did not deliver my business lunch, I called ABC and they had an order ready for me within 15 minutes and saved my meeting. Wonderful service, amazing food. I will absolutely order from them again and would recommend them to anyone. The ambiance inside the restaurant is so cute, I may eat in next time.

First time visitors. The people who we interacted with were pleasant and the service was great. My daughter and I ordered the white pizza and added spinach. We loved the crust but were really turned off by the frozen spinach.

Great pizza and even better customer service. After deciding last minute that I needed to feed 20 people, I quickly went online to find a pizza place that could accommodate my order at a fair price and at the time I needed it, which was 11:30am. Most places don’t open until 11 so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get what I needed. After looking at a few of the common pizza chains I discovered that they wouldn’t have my 7 large pizzas and 3 salads done well until after lunchtime. I held my breath and went to ABC’s website and started the online ordering process and was happy to find that even though they didn’t open until 11, they accepted my order to be picked up at 11:30. Not only did Nilo bring out my order at 11:30 on the dot he also informed me that they made an error when looking at the ticket and accidentally made a wrong pizza and that we were getting it as a bonus. I drove out of there with so much food for a very reasonable price and now have a staff full of doctors and nurses who have full bellies and are ready for naps. We definitely will be using ABC for future pizza orders. I should also mention the the pizza was excellent!!! The pineapple, ham and onion was my favorite!

The pizza here is amazing. I am super super picky about pizza and it's taste and man I'd definitely make a stop here again if I'm in the Tampa area again. They know how to make a pizza! I had a meat lovers and it was so many toppings! Definitely worth the price. I ordered on Slice app and the food was ready just like it said.

This place is pretty decent. The pasta dishes were pretty good, the pizza however, the dough didn’t have very much flavor. My partner got the meat lovers, and there was something about it I wasn’t a huge fan of, but it wasn’t bad at all. Ultimately I did enjoy this place, I will just stick to the pasta dishes when I come here. The restaurant was clean and we received service when we needed something, but there is also no garlic shaker on the table or crushed red pepper, which is something you would expect to find at a pizza place. They do have a bar and a place to pick up if you’re taking out. Overall we will return to this restaurant, and continue to try different dishes and pizzas.

Have gone to this place periodically over several years. The food is always great, as is the service. The most recent visit was with my 4 year old granddaughter. She ordered a cheese pizza. I got the spaghetti with meatballs. She saw my lunch and dove right into the pasta. She ate, and wore, most of my meal. I especially liked the meatballs. They were ample, tender and flavorful.

It was really good I haven't been there in like 10 years maybe more I went with my son and his girlfriend and her little daughter who was celebrating her fourth birthday and we were celebrating her going to VPK she was super excited the food was amazing I had eggplant parmesan and spaghetti my son ate stuffed manicotti and she had stuffed shells the portions are so big that we could all ate from one plate and the prices are still really good there we also had a Greek salad the dressing is so delicious you can tell that it's homemade I was kind of disappointed 😔 that they used black olives instead of Greek olives but it was still really good and we also had a side of potato salad it was delicious I will definitely be coming back.

Always stop at this location when I am in Tampa. Food and service is always good. Only thing I would like to see them do is include a house salad with the Shells and Meatballs. The portions got smaller and the price increased, therefore that should allow for a house salad to be included.

I wish I can show you the picture of my pizza but my phone won’t allow me to upload in google. I ordered two large pies which they had made a small “pay attention” one of them being a white pizza which was extremely over cooked. Looked like a regular burnt slice. Like cmon guys get it together! Don’t you see what’s coming out that oven… Like if it wasn’t for the nice people I’d give this place a -0. Get your life together! Tonight was my first time ever eating from this restaurant and I was extremely satisfied! I had no complaints about my food at all and the service was wonderful as well! We ordered cheese bread and pepperoni cheese bread to start and it was soooooo delicious! I also ordered a small pepperoni and mushroom pizza with baklava for desert. Been coming to this one for 31 years. Still an affordable place to eat, consistently prep food. Update November 11, 2022 I went there again, and what a difference from my prior visit 8 months earlier. The Greek salad had shredded ham, but the ham was so much and so salty it was hard to eat. The potatoe salad was also almost tasteless. The pizza Mediterranean we ordered, tasted like the veggies on it were from frozen bags and cheese was non flavorful. The pizza dough was tasteless. Seems their ingredients supplier have changed and may be using less quality. I would rather pay a bit more but for good quality ingredients, like they use to have. I am so sorry to leave this review, but someone needs to tell them.

Split and Italian sub with my husband and had a slice of the House Special Pizza 🤯 The flavor was amazing!! My two little kids split a white pizza and my older son ate an entire pepperoni. They barely spoke the entire time we were there because they were too busy stuffing their faces. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Outer crust was too thick....if it's that thick it needs to be stuffed crust. Mug beers should be pints for the price. Pizza was ok....had the special.....I'll be comparing to others in the neighborhood. Waitress should pay attention to the customer table with food at end of booth to be boxed instead of her phone and then going off to another room.

Love this place! Me and my family have been going to this restaurant since 2005 when we were first introduced to this place. Love the pizzas and the salads. Always good service and good quality. Very friendly and comfortable place. They will accommodate your party and never rush you to leave. Due to pandemic we have not been back but I will definitely order for take out. Am pretty sure they are taking the necessary precautions though.

ABC Pizza is a household name for my family and I, this is a Greek family business serving not only the best pizza in town, they have a nice menu to satisfy everyone's taste buds (appetizers, pastas, Greek dinners, sandwiches, and that pizza) Everything is delicious here, you can't go wrong (the Greek salad is a must) by far the best I've ever had anywhere in Tampa! Restaurant is very clean, spacious, the service is excellent, nice family atmosphere, room for larger parties, and plenty of parking. Come hungry and enjoy the best of the best, this restaurant is a must visit!

Oh my gosh I love this place! I’ve eaten here so many times over the years and I always leave happy! Their baked spaghetti is truly fantastic as is their salad (the dinner size is enough for two people!). They have great pizzas with unique toppings like the Cuban pizza but I just go with plain old cheese. Their marina sauce is what really makes their food taste so good. I could literally drink that stuff.

It's always been one of our favorite places. I've been going there since early 2000! It remains a great place to eat. The service is good. The restaurant is clean and has had remodeling done a few times over the years. They keep it updated. There's always a crowd, but they know how to get people fed and happy.

I have always looked for great pizza in Tampa since I've gotten older. I loved ABC Pizza back in the late 70's. I would see a few of them around now and wonder if it was the same. To my surprise, I finally went to ABC Pizza on 4/20/20. The pizza was excellent, very tasty. This is definitely my go to place for pizza. My husband is not big on pizza. I love the pizza crust here. My favorite pizza is taco pizza. Not many people make them anymore. I also liked the gyro pizza. Sounds weird but tastes great if you like gyros. I suggest getting your own small pizza and just taking the rest home to eat later. Nice cozy atmosphere and great service. I recommend that you not come here in a hurry. It takes time to make a great pizza. If so feel free to order ahead and get it as take out. I've had both and they are equally delicious.

Fabulous pizza! I ordered online and received 15% off. Nice incentive! However, when I arrived to pick up my pizza my order could not be found and was not ready. But, they acted quickly to fast track the pizza and it was ready in 10ish minutes or so. No harm no foul. Luckily I wasn't on a 30 minute lunch break or this could have been a disastrous review.... keep that in mind. Overall great experience! I'll be back!

So my family are pizza lovers and abc pizza is literally down the street from us which is amazing. ABC pizza employees are always nice and kind, my food is ALWAYS hot. The cheese is super cheesy, the crust is perfect for dipping in ranch. The stuffed shells are HUGE, the garlic bread is big. They don't skimp out of portions and they are always consistent on flavor. I can always count on abc pizza when im hungry.. and also there desserts are so good too. I might as well just live there haha.

One cheese and one pepperoni pizza to go. Asked for extra sauce and garlic. They don’t have garlic. Garlic butter or garlic powder. I realized at that point there was no hope. The sauce is a mild marinara, at best. The shell was good. I just didn’t expect to stop at a grocery store to buy real garlic, black pepper, and Calabrian chili oil. Non è il mio preferito, ma ok. Magari andare a Napoli o a Sorrento (AZZ!).

Yummy. Any of their pizzas are off the chain. Salads are so fresh and crisp. Cheese sticks are amazing. This is a must visit establishment for sure. They are offering in restaurant dining now as well. They check your temp before entering the dining area. Mask are required to enter and need to stay on while picking up to go orders.

The rice Pilaf is soooooo good! Who would've knew lemon flavored rice was so refreshing and tasty. I remember the portion once was much larger, but the flavour is still present :) we also ordered potato salad, fries, a greek salad, and a small pizza. The potato salad is delicious. Fries lack flavor, which was kind of disappointing since they're just fries and kind of hard to mess up. The Greek salad is delicious. (Very popular menu item by the way)..and our pizza was also tasty; half of the pizza consist of "the works" and the other half was a white sauce with steak, spinach, and bacon. Our waitress was super friendly and reassured us to take our time and no rush to finish payment. It was a Tuesday evening we had a late dinner. The dining area wasn't crowded at all and the atmosphere was pleasant. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant this is your go to pizza place :)

The ABC Pizza House is truly a landmark everyone should visit...but only if you love great Greek/Italian food and warm service! I visit here a few times a month, usually with 4 to 24 friends in tow. The staff there is always accommodating and I'm typically greeted with a smile and a firm handshake by the proprietor, George. My favorite dishes there are the stuffed shells and the pizza, not to mention they have the best-tasting salad dressing for which I have found no equal. As a 2nd-generation Sicilian person, I am a connoisseur of this style of food, and this place deserves high marks for both the food and service. I will surely visit the ABC Pizza House in the near future.

Danielle was our waitress, she was amazing. The pizza was delicious. We got 2 smalls, his was chicken, green pepper and ricotta. Mine was bbq chicken with jalapeno peppers. We also got wings (dry with sauce on the side). They're baked so make sure you ask for them crispy! So good!! And Holy cow, the sangria... I'm not a wine drinker but 2 glasses and I was feelin really nice!! Ended our dining experience with a piece of lemon cake (which she heated up for me) and I was in heaven. 5 stars is well deserved! 5 for Danielle and 5 for the food!

ABC Pizza is a long time local favorite that's been in business for years. I would rate most of their dishes as satisfactory to good. Tonight it was pizza and eggplant sandwiches which were very good . Their spaghetti and meatballs have gone downhill over the years and appear to be nothing more than frozen meatballs from the freezer food section Of the supermarket and a really bad and over cooked pasta, so I would steer away from that but everything else is pretty good. A good solid restaurant when you want to take the kids out to grab a quick bite to eat either in or to go.

Ive had several pizzas (shared with coworkers) and appetizers. They’re ok, I wouldn’t crave it. My co workers enjoyed the pizzas. We had several specialties including the Mexican. What I’m giving 5 stars for is that greek salad with potato salad. I could literally eat this weekly. Definitely added to the comfort food list. Absolutely delighted. Edit: CUBAN PIZZA IS AWESOME. My boyfriend's favorite. Greek pizza is pretty good too. I did not care for the steak sandwich but my boyfriend loved it.

ABC Pizza is a gem on Hillsborough Avenue! We are from Illinois, but we have family in Tampa that we visit. There is never a time we visit Tampa when we don't go to ABC because it is THAT good. I personally love the House Special, which has pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms and ground meat (basically a deluxe). The ingredients always taste fresh and flavorful, and the crust is top notch. There is plenty of dining space in the restaurant with a nice atmosphere and terrific service.

ABC pizza has been around as long as I have and they do it right, better than all the other fast food pizza places for sure -- seriously good crust and a consistent yummy sauce. Their salads are mainly made of lettuce without any nutritious types of leaf included, and they have an amazing potato salad that is optional - this has been the same for 30 years, yummy potato salad and a lettus salad that has its abundance as its main quality, and the olives. Most nights they have a special that's worth taking advantage of if you've got a horde of teenagers to feed . I like they're a plant as well as the pasta - ask for extra mushrooms if you want to be impressed. It's that pizza hotline but if you want a solid pie you can rely on, this is the best in the neighborhood - which ever neighborhood you find one in.

It was a good place for families I suppose. However, the pizza was awful. I asked for certain pizza related extras like parmesan cheese, red peppers, garlic etc. They had none of it for me. I asked for a chicken parmesan meal to do, she didn't even know what that was. So my point is, it's called pizza house but it's owned by Greeks! So they have a Greek menu. Their sangria has changed... it's now very sweet & seems to have more juice (& less wine) than previously. And, NO diced fruit! Ugh! But, still a fair value... We got 3-4 glasses out of one carafe for $9.59. Howard ordered an Italian Grinder, and it was really very good. The meats had a great flavor, but I noticed the tomatoes were quite green. And the hoagie bread wasn't notable. But H couldn't stop repeating how much he enjoyed his half. My half was good. I ordered a gyro and was actually stunned by how small it was. At $6.49, I wasn't expecting the largest gyro in town, but definitely something bigger than what I was served. The lamb & beef was sparse and overcooked. Plus, LOTS of green tomatoes. In fact, my gyro had more tomatoes than meat. This ABC Pizza has been one of my favorite *local* restaurants since my teens, and I insisted to Howard that we drive much further from home to this one instead of the one near our house. But I was so disappointed by our visit Friday evening that I was compelled to update my review with these details. And, for a while, I'll be subjected to Howard's dining suggestions. Decor here is dated, but clean. They also have nightly specials.

Our family's fav pizza place in Tampa. The pizza is great, the spaghetti is delish, and the service is genuine. They were late with my to-go order once and the girl told me to grab a cheesecake on my way out, cheesecake fixes everything, especially if it's free! Also went last minute with a group of 13 for a bday and they were very accommodating and offered to refrigerate the cake we brought, bring plates for the cake and take group pics for us.

This place has been the best since I was a kid stopping by after little league games over 20 years ago. Just this location though, the others do something different to their recipe that's still pizza (all pizza is good) but subpar. I stopped by the other day after visiting my grandmother and had my baby in the car. I had an odd request. I didn't want to wake my cranky baby up and didn't want to carry out a bunch of pizza and my child at the same time, so I actually called in the order from the parking lot and asked if they could bring it out to me. I don't work in the industry but I thought this was an odd request and I wouldn't blame them at all if they told me no. The female who answered the phone was more than cheerful and told me it would be no problem. She brought my food out promptly and was polite throughout the ordeal. My only regret is that I didn't get to experience any nostalgia by staring at that beautiful fish tank.

We live in Riverview and always had family night dinner at the ABC in Riverview. When Mario closed the restaurant a few years ago my family was so upset. Especially my grandsons. Well while my wonderful husband was in the Kindred Hospital in Tampa we saw this ABC Pizza and as a surprise for our one grandson's 18th Birthday family dinner I drove to Tampa and ordered 11 spaghetti dinners to go. It was right at lunch time and they said "Not a problem". After a very short wait my order was ready and even packed to be able to serve easily. My grandson was thrilled, along with the rest of the family. We will definitely make the 14 mile and back drive again for family night spaghetti dinner.. Thanks ABC - delicious. I should know, I have been forced to eat Italian for years. You just discribed what you will get it you go to Magiano's or some place like that. The place is busy for a reason. Just so happens that I went to pick up Pizza directly after I wrote this. I did not even realize that they sold pasta dinners. I have been to an ABC pizza about 50 times in my lifetime and never knew this. I am too sold on the PIzza and salads. I knew they had other dishes, but not pasta. Maybe that is what google user was going for. Who would go out to eat pasta, the cheapest filler in the world.
