Reviews of The Piccadilly at Manhattan
Paula
Really good food. I had the pot pie 🥧 and chicken plate .. the prices are reasonable! I would definitely go back. Only small issue is parking is limited and the place is kind of small. But nice server (John)
Rose
Home cooked food prepared fresh when you order.
Best Mayfair dressing in town, plus call ahead one day and you can buy some from them.
Better than any salad dressing you can buy in the stores.
If you love pot pies, they have scrumptious chicken and sometimes seafood pot pie.
Today's special ribs, beans and coke slaw and the patty melt all of it was scumptous.
Meet an Old Friend today for Lunch and it was so nice to sit & visit while snacking on The Crispy Chicken Salad, Lil Brother has the Seafood Pot Pie, then Apple Crisp with Ice Cream
Big Shout out to Chris, thanks for fabulous service.
New Hours 11:00am to 4:00 pm for winter hours. Now take home dinners offered too from Lasagna, Pot Pies, Fried Chicken and more.
Alan Barasch
Tiny place with a limited menu does not mean limited taste. My friend and I both opted for specials. One got pot roast (pix attached) and the other, seafood pot pie. Yummy!!
Christy Allen
Spacious restaurant offering ample seating options both indoors as well as outdoor patio. We obviously went during a mad rush and waited nearly half hour for a table for 2. Because there are so many seats/tables, waiting inside in a cold winter afternoon was SUPER TIGHT.
Soup of the day which was vegetable was good along with a small salad. Didn’t make up for the long wait but was a decent lunch with pleasant service in a nice local spot.
Would love to try a pot pie but vegetable was not offered. Hopefully they’ll consider adding it in the near future.
Terry Weatherford
Great local diner! Good prices, great food, awesome service. Thanks to McGraw Milhaven and KTRS for the recommendation!
Dana Garner
First time for 4 out of the 5. Loved food and atmosphere! I had chicken pot pie and it was delicious. My friend's loved their food also and prices very reasonable for amount of food. Our server was the best and so patient since two of our party arrived late. Friendly, smiled alot and even remembered the names of our friends. Thankful you took reservations. Sorry to hear you will not be offering dinner for awhile. Hope things improve soon! Happy Holidays!
Steve M
How have I not been here before? It was exceptional. I got the fish sandwich and salad with Mayfair. Salad was tossed, and just excellent. The fish sandwich was massive with such a light breading that I loved. Girlfriend got the chicken pot pie and chili and both were great as well. Can't wait to try the meltdown burger next time.
Joshua Skender
Always a good place to go for lunch or dinner. They do have outside dining if sitting inside isn't your thing. Nice atmosphere and great staff, foods good to. Definitely recommend trying the wings "our way".
MAD Cat
...for a tucked away little restaurant off the beaten path, this place is the cat's meow! They have great food, great service, a bar and outside seating if you prefer. Now, it would probably behoove you to make reservations as this place will fill up quick! If you're a cat 🐈⬛ like me, then try the chicken pot pie or the salmon special. 😋 You won't be hiss-appointed!!!
Margie Becknell
A great place to eat ! Really good service and friendly atmosphere.
Wade Forrester
This place is a true gem in St. Louis. Great food and great service. Also, they make brats in house and I bought a pack that hit my grill the next day. They may have been the best brats I have ever had. Love this place.
Toni Bowman
Fantastic but shhhh! Don't tell anyone! I can easily see a crowd forming if you do, and I fear I will not get a table at my next visit. Okay, so the secret is out: Delicious Mayfair salad with fresh grilled plump shrimp, huge pot pies, fried chicken, meatloaf, scrumptious sides and more.
Pete Lenhardt
I had the Pot roast and it was really delicious. Just wish the portion was a bit larger. Only reason that it wasn't 5 star was my father in law had the all dark meat chicken and the crust was hard and the inside of the thighs weren't cooked completely. When he told the waitress she didn't seem to care.
Kim Becker
I had the fried chicken and it was excellent. It was fresh and had a great flavor. My mom had the meatloaf and it was excellent as well. Will be back to try the pot pie. Great friendly staff
Treaca Vogeler
This is a nice place to dine and have a few drinks. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. The atmosphere takes you back to when you were a youngster. Great daily specials. Alot of the customers are local and friendly. A must eat at when you are in or around Maplewood, Mo.
Jerome Murry
Great little spot. The cocktail was good, never had a Negroni outside of Italy and NYC. I had the potpie, the crust could have been a little crisper. But it was a nice experience overall!
RYAN M
Definitely a hidden gem. My wife and I used to go here for special date nights when we lived in Kirkwood. Really love the food, staff, and the atmosphere. I am a little bit bummed though, the menu changed a bit and my favorite sandwich is no longer on the menu. Also, just a heads up, the google menu doesn't reflect their current menu. You will have to go to their website to see what has changed. Still love this place!
Jiffy Jeffy
I don't live in that general area and had never heard of your place. It was for a birthday event among relatives. Each person ordered different items and we all LOVED our food!
Peggy Carson
Best food ever. Everything is great but pot pies are exceptional!
Servers are pretty cool too! 🤣
Josh Langel
Wonderful off the beaten path local restaurant. Great prices, amazing upgraded homestyle food. I ordered the chicken pot pie ($12!) Super flaky puff pastry top with a scrumptious inside. 10/10 would chow again. Also had a great strawberry rhubarb cobbler. Fairly good bar selection as well. Definitely a gem, wish I would have found this place long ago!
Dennis Cope
So pleased this favorite place is back. Excellent, friendly service, food was as good as always, all set in that special, bright room. Will certainly return.
Mary Gan
The absolute BEST chicken pot pie and the sweetest people you will ever meet! I've been raving about Piccadilly at Manhattan for days and can't wait to go back!
Sasha Moore
Food is always amazing. Really cute spot with a nice patio. Good drink menu. Good service. One of my favorite go to restaurants.
Rich M
It's always a Pleasant Dining Experience here. Even with COVID-19 precautions, it was still wonderful. The Food was Great !
Carson Baxter
The food was very good overall. My green beans were very watery and I would have preferred them a little fresher. The only negative thing I can say is that the staff was sitting at the bar when we came in and I found that strange that they never really got up. Our server kept getting up and down out of the bar stool and she wasnt overly friendly, which is probably a deterrent from us going back. It seems like there should have been a manager there overseeing the wait staff.
Laura Fisher
Great place to eat. Went there because they were a part of burger week in St. Louis. We will go back! Cute little restaurant tucked away in a neighborhood. Indoor and outdoor eating. Friendly employees and reasonable priced food.
Steven Lockwood
The absolute best hometown spot! We waited so long to try this place out for no reason at all. Everything was so great. I could eat here everyday and never get tired of it. Lovely staff, beautiful but simple decor. You just gotta try it!
Matt Alvino
Quaint little restaurant tucked in the middle of a neighborhood. Tons of character, friendly service, and good food. Kind of a blast from the past. Lots of regulars it seems. People would wave and say goodbye to others on the way out
Gotta get the wings "Our Way," and my Philly cheese steak was delicious. They have a small, but local draft beer selection and full bar otherwise.
Small, few car parking lot. Otherwise all off-street.
Kara King
This is my absolute favorite place to eat! The staff is friendly, the food is amazing and the prices are reasonable! Very quaint ❤️
Brokenfirealarm
Bad parking lot, table and chair weren't clean but the food tasted good.
The meals were a good size, but the appetizer was comically small in comparison while almost being the same price as a full meal.
Fredonia Taylor
Parking can be a challenge but the food was good the atmosphere is pretty good depending on what you order the protein portions are great but could make the veggies bigger
Kevin Long
Best there Is - that is why our 8th grade class from 1965 meets there 3-4 times a year for lunch Nick & Maggie & all the Staff are the best - This is what Dining Should Be !
Bill Witte
Home cooked food done very well. Meat loaf better than mom's. Chicken pot pie best in town. Wait staff prompt and friendly. As the weather gets warmer more folks will be visiting so I'd recommend a reservation if you can.
James Southworth
WOW! I am so glad we decided to have dinner here. The building is cool and laid back and off the beaten path. I had the famous fish sandwich and it was AMAZING! I have never had a more delicious, flakey tasty fish sandwich ever. Others had the fried chicken and couldn't say enough good about it. We'll definitely be back
Moriah Doyel
Very cute spot, excellent service, definitely go for the pot roast special if they have it!
Todd Richmond
Lovely place for lunch with an awesome staff. Great food
Patrice Harman
I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. My sister had the fish sandwich. The breading on the fish was crispy, light and tasty and didn't hide the taste of the fish, nor tasted greasy. It was really really good as were her french fries. I would definitely go back, and try more dished. Has a full bar, and a special place for larger parties. I'd make a reservation ahead of time.
Bk Wck
Every time I go the food is outstanding. Service is very friendly. And the atmospheres is wonderful
Barbara Crabtree
Wonderful! I've been hanker'in for some of their fried chicken and my memories were true! OMG!
Jim Frehley
This was our first time at Piccadilly. We were greeted when we walked in the door and had good service. It was lunch on a Friday during Lent so we got the fish sandwich. Basa fish. Sandwich and fries for $10. Service was good and friendly.
Marianne Schnarre
Food was good, place nice. Staff nice. When we arrived we were asked to wear a mask, though not required. We complied. Then noticed 80% staff had theirs hanging below their noses that's the same as not wearing it. We then took ours off. If you want me to wear a mask, you have to too.
Andrea Roark
I wasn’t impressed by this restaurant. I got the ultimate grilled cheese and a side salad and the cheese wasn’t melted, and the salad was just romaine and red onions and overdressed. The patio is nice and the service was good. Overall not the worst but probably won’t return.
Sasha Richardson
The pot pie is the most delicious thing that's ever touched my tongue.. I crave it intensely in the colder months
David Buttrick
This place is great! Homey, warm and Comfy.
It's a standard American Cafe/Pub that produces excellent food.
My standard lunch is the fish sandwich, but the other day I got a look at the Chicken Pot Pie, and that's next on my list.
I love this place.
Bert Reply
Fantastic! This place is a hidden gem. The pot pie is the best I have ever eaten. Crust is thick, but light and flaky, best ever.
Everything on the menu is prepared with care and served with the same care.
Deborah Hach
Very quaint place with great food and reasonable prices. The staff is friendly too.
Tom Viscomi
Always loved this place, over many years. Home cooking in a home atmosphere. Go. Get the chicken pot pie. And "our way" wings!
Jason “TheTechSpec” Heisel
Tasty, fast, friendly service with plenty of outdoor seating.
Connie Duke
They have great food great drinks and great service!
Eric J
Good food, decent prices and great service.
Joy Last
We got here close to opening at the suggestion of friends i was with. This is a very busy place. Delicious home style cooking. We all had a side salad and pot roast, blackberry cobbler or caramel apple pie. I would go back here soon
Michelle Salois
Everything here is good! plenty of outdoor or semi-outdoor seating. Chicken Pot Pie is delish, real mashed potatoes. but once I had the fried chicken, I can't get me to order anything else!
Jane Cole
We always enjoy piccadilly's. Tried the seafood pot pie. Scrupulous.
Ben Leigh
Delicious food. I wish their portions were bigger.
Edward Baebler
First time there, we saw a review on Sause Magazine, so we thought we would try. Food was great, wife had the Seafood Pot Pie and I had the meatloaf. We will become repeat customers.
Will Gausman
I had the meltdown with fries and a side of Mac and Cheese and it was amazing! All four of us had something different and we were all very happy with our choices. The food, drinks and service were awesome. Such a cozy, warm and inviting place.
Extra tip the patio is great anytime of year. They have a fireplace and heater so even in December we were comfortable.
Glennon Schlitt
Great fried chicken.
Would like to try their pork steak but its only on Wednesday. Had the steak about 2 years ago but cov 19 got in the way for going back. Its not fancy inside but its good food....
Tim North
Great service. Chicken Pot pie and Meatloaf were good.
Served nice and hot. All was fine. Just some of the other guest were loud talkers. Wasnt the nice quiet dinner planned, but okay.
Food and service were worth it.
Will be back.
A J Grieve
The Piccadilly at Manhattan continues to be an excellent neighborhood restaurant and bar. The interior is comfortable and welcoming. The staff is always friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. And the food! It is always very good...most of their renown entries are excellent and like home cooking. Their meatloaf, pot pies, and fried chicken are the best in St. Louis. They've got great salads (try the Mayfair salad), and they sometimes have a chicken fried steak, as a special...and it IS special. The sides they have to go with their main dishes are good and more than just a dab, like at some places. For lunch or dinner, you can't find a more comfortable, appetizing place to go. Street parking is plentiful. Every time we've been there, I leave full and happy!
Mary McGillicuddy
Great local spot with delicious options and full bar.
Lori M.
Delicious! Great atmosphere. We will return again! Pot Pie was SO good, perfect portion size. Next time hoping to try the pulled pork on grilled cheese! Wow!
Rich F
The food was good and service was good.
The ribs tasted good, but were a bit on the tough side. Chicken had very thick crust if that's what you like. I thought it was good.
Jeff Kelley
What a great experience. This is comfort food done the best way possible. Love the pot pie, cajun pasta, meat loaf, fried chicken. The servers are alway great and the hostess is attentive and caring. Check it out! It's in an old house in a neighborhood. Great for a family outing or out of town guests.
Robin Nunn
Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, a three season room, patio space, this place has it all. Limited regular menu, but lots of daily specials. Comfort food done very well and a nice bar. Highly recommended.
Len Harvey
Food was fantastic...the fried chicken was some of the best I've ever had-light batter with tons of flavor. Wife had the prime rib sandwich, it was also delicious. However, the service was exceptionally slow and not very good. The waitress was friendly but not very attentive...drinks went unfilled, dessert was not offered before the bill, her tableside visits were exceptionally brief. Add this to the overall poor seating ("heated" enclosed outdoor patio seating was cold and we were sitting in basically lawn furniture) and the overall experience was not great. Worth a second visit perhaps, but first impression was muddled.
Christian Salazar
Great food and ambiance outside
debbie suarez
Chicken pot pie plus the fabulous fried chicken tasty sangria. Serve was great so everything was awesome.
Jessica Vargas - Realtor
Amazing experience, the amazing craft cocktails, great service, great people, delicious food, favorite place to eat in the area.
Dave Poenitske
Our first time there. I had the chicken pot pie and my wife had the pot roast. Both were delicious! I can't wait to go again and try some more menu items. Reasonably price too ..
Paige Luebbert
We had the fried chicken for dinner and it was the best I’ve had in a while. It was perfectly crispy. WE sat on the patio out front and received excellent service. I wish i would have noted her name. She checked on us the perfect amount oof times, and was very prompt. Best service we’ve had in a while too. Very glad we finally tried this place. We will probably add it to our frequent visit list.
Jason Wever
Great, out of the way family-owned restaurant. Comfort and American food done right. Nothing fancy, but always good. The owners are really great, generous people. Gets busy Fridays and Saturdays for early dinner because most of the neighborhood eats there every week, so plan ahead! Also really great for cheap, tasty carryout
Don Fox
Great place that serve fresh and very homemade tasting food. I had the beef version of a pot pie and it definitely ranks as the best pot pie I’ve ever had. The crust was light and flaky, the inside was like eating a really good stew over mashed potatoes. Yum! Highly recommend!
Paul Leong
Great service Amanda! And great food! Kudos!
Jamie Wirsig
Delicious comfort food! My boyfriend got one of the pot pies and I got the meatloaf. We also had the brownie dessert which was amazing. We didn’t have a reservation but we got seated within 45 minutes. The place was packed but the service was great. Next time we will probably make a reservation.
Lynn S
Salad with Mayfair dressing was delicious, enjoyed the spicy shrimp. The Service was great. Darling little place on Piccadilly street in Maplewood.
becky sims
Food was great [as always] but the service was really bad. 2 tables were seated after us and placed orders while we sat waiting. Our waiter never came back to ck on us. When he brought the ck my grandson told him they had the best grilled cheese ever....the waiter did say "thanks" but that was it. 2 grilled cheese with fries and a sandwich with coleslaw don't take very long to plate! But, like i said, the food is good even if the service was not.
Sheryl Albersboyd
It was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. The food was good and made you want to come back and try another thing on the menu
Barb Berger
Pleasantly surprised with this small quaint restaurant. Hard time deciding what to order. I picked a Cuban sandwich, my husband a cheeseburger and salad with poppy seed dressing and another person had the fried chicken and the last person ordered a Reuben. All were delighted with their choices and had leftovers to take home. Personnel friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on returning
Steven Taylor
Food was delicious and service was excellent. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were wonderful people.
Ash DePung
Absolutely amazing! We didn't expect to come here but definitely don't regret it. We were greeted immediately, and had to wait for a table. It wasn't longer than 5 minutes. I had the seafood pot pie and it was perfect. We had a table of five and no one had any complaints. Can't wait to go back and try their cocktails.
Judy Yingling
Food was excellent. Staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable. Restaurant had great atmosphere.
Victoria Peteri
I completely appreciated this diner, the food is remarkable, plus the brooms were not smelly. It was a little cold indoors, definatly was not the most enjoyable. The food serve is good also. I will absolutely consider going back once more if I have the opportunity. Me and my buddy ordered the sandwiches and we were not dissatisfied. My one recommendation is to keep the chilly exterior. Thanks!
Blake Anderson
Great environment. Prompt service. Delicious food. I ordered some sort of flash fried spinach and I wasn't sure what I would think of it. It was literally so delicious I couldn't stop. I had the chicken pot pie for my meal and it was scrumptious. One of the best I've ever had. Flakey and puffy top and creamy veggies and white meat chicken. Absolutely recommend.
Luke
Awesome place! Took the family there on a whim and have zero regrets. From the get-go it has a nice homey atmosphere. All of the staff we dealt with were super nice. Got the short rib pot pie which had an incredible golden flaky crust covering what was essentially delicious pot roast and mashed potatoes. Topped it off with blackberry cobbler alamode, which also had homemade crust. Will be going back to try the Cajun pasta at some point!
Hannele Haapala
Fabulous, will go there again.
Kurt Andrews
My dad gave my wife and I a gift certificate to Piccadilly at Manhattan, for Christmas. $50 easily fed two people. The servings were large. The food was excellent. That price included a draft beer with the meal and an outstanding raspberry chocolate tart a la mode to share for dessert. Greta had the fish sandwich, which was almost perfect. "It could have been a tad spicier." I had the Meltdown, a ground brisket Patty stuffed in this amazing grilled cheese sandwich. We'll be going back to this charming, cozy, little pub to try out more of the interesting menu. Be forewarned, off street parking is limited.
Angela
The best meatloaf I’ve ever had 10/10!
Kyle Neely
Always spot on with food and service. You will crave the chicken and the meatloaf
Douglas Sears
The wife had the chicken pot pie which I tried and is better than your mom can make. I had the homemade meat loaf, It was a generous portion that was very tasty and I would definitely order it again. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans which both were very good. We will be back.
Robert Whitney
First time here, and I wasn't disappointed! We got four different dishes and all were wonderful. I wanted to get the special, which was a seafood pot pie, but they were sold out, so I had to settle for one of the best meatloaf dinners I've ever had!
A.J. Lenrope
Very good hamburger with fries, and very good grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Fantastic chocolate-raspberry dessert (shared by two people). Very good service from a young guy who was genuinely interested in helping. A very pleasant lunch on the shaded patio on a beautiful day in June. The prices were reasonable. No problem with parking.
Bekka
Great food and fun place to go!
Caroline Parrone
Fantastic locally owned, family spot. The food is outrageously good. I love that the menu is always changing and that the owners are always there chatting with their customers. You can tell they really care about a great product and great customer service. This place is a staple! We go to the Pic every time we're in town.
Linda Kaiser
Wonderful family owned restaurant. Very busy on a Thursday evening. Outside dining as well as indoor. Hand a wonderful meal of beef roast mash potatoes and vegetables
Amy C
OMG!! Why did we not know about this place before????? I highly suggest making reservations since the restaurant is small. The server and food where all FANTASTIC!!! My husband had the short rib pot pie and I had the famous Piccadilly fish sandwich. They were both great!!! Wish we would have had enough time to order the fried chicken which I have heard is the best! We will be back... hint... this is a great place for dinner before The Rep, it was only 8 minutes away.
Laina Marie
The beef and sauce in the short rib pot pie was extra salty. It was also REALLY hot, so be careful if ordering this dish for a child. The crust of the pie was amazing though! The Mac n' Cheese was disappointing. They describe it as oven baked, but my guess is that they cook it on the stovetop then place it in the oven only to toast the breadcrumbs. However, their cobblers are amazing! They did not take the short cut of using the pot pie crust for their cobblers. The cobbler crust was perfection and the ice cream was a great compliment to the cobbler. I also overheard a customer complaint about the ribs not being good. In short, go somewhere else for dinner and come here for dessert!
Kelly Lattanzi
This gem should be experienced by anyone looking for great American fare food. There are so many great menu items. The smoked prime rib on brioche with horseradish and swiss.....delicious! The Meltdown is an 8 oz brisket in the ultimate grilled cheese (3 cheeses). Wow.....it's all so good.
Rylee Rose
The service was great! And the food was delicious. We have a child with an egg allergy and they were very helpful.
Barbara D.
Loved this gem of a place. It is tucked away in the middle of a residential neighborhood and one would never think to look for it. The food was oh so delicious. We ate outside on the porch and it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. The decor was nice and there are plenty of coverings to provide for shade. We parked on the street. The selection was nice and the staff answered our questions about the ingredients in a few of the items. We did not really look around inside as we just walked through it to get to the outside seatingso cannot comment on it. We would definitely go there again and bring our out of town guests-it was that good.
Susan Klepper
The Wait people are very good. The Food is Great. From Meatloaf to Fried chicken to Chicken pot pie and the really delish Fish sandwich. The flash fried spinach is also a good appetizer. NEVER had a bad dish there. Yes it gets crowded and WHAT does that tell you? ??? Good food and good people.
Kris Yust
I was plesently surprised at how great this place was, and living in St. Louis most of my life, I can't believe I had not been here or heard if it until recently. I am not a pot pie guy, which is what they are known for, however their smoked foods are fabulous. I got the ribs which were awesome, but even better was the smoked tuna spread. I highly suggest it. The atmosphere is also nice, like you are in someone's cozy house, but still fine dining. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great. If you are looking for a nice night out and in the neighborhood, you should try it, you won't be disappointed.
Wesley Slocum
The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Took my daughter there for lunch too try some place new. She had the ultimate grilled cheese, and I had the meltdown. We both loved it! Would definitely recommend!
Jeff Albertson
I moved from maplewood to st charles in october 2018 and when I'm in the neighborhood I like to stop at my favorite places to eat when I lived here. Today I stopped by the piccadilly for flash fried spinach and a steak sandwich. My go to meal for the piccadilly. The reason I walk in the door. Apparently theyve since cut the menu down and removed all my favorite items. While I am wholly aware I'm not the only person in the universe and restaurants dont revolve around the needs of one man I can assure you I now have no reason to return. What was once a place I raved about and sent people too is now just another run of the mill restaurant. Nothing special. Prices are the same as everywhere else. Foods the same as everywhere else. Atmosphere is the same as everywhere else. The things that made piccadilly special are now gone. Thanks for the memories. Good luck, Nick and Maggie.
James Bottorff
Did some work on the exterior of the building and was overwhelmingly happy with the short rib pot pie I ordered for lunch. Inside was nicely decorated and the staff were top notch. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.
Denise
I ordered the salmon special. It was the best I have ever eaten and I eat salmon weekly. Piccadilly is a hidden gem. I'm going to order the fried chicken next.
Sharon Smith
Tuna steak salad, amazing, loved it with glass of Malbec and apple crisp ala mode. Nice neighborhood restaurant. Great friendly folks.
Brian Chadwick
This was my first visit to Picadilly at Manhattan and it was a wonderful experience. The quaint little dining room was beautiful. The employees were friendly and helpful. The fish sandwich was delicious. I would recommend it.
Brittainy Kinsey
short rib pot pie changed my life! Also everything is good, service is awesome, atmosphere is nice but casual.
Amy Hardin
The food is always AMAZING! Loved the Short Rib Pot Pie, Salmon, Meatloaf... all of it! The additional outdoor seating on the new deck is beautiful and just adds to the already fun and gorgeous ambiance of Piccadilly!
Timothy McKenna
The smoked prime rib sandwich is possibly the greatest sandwich that I have ever had. It came on a grilled brioche bun covered with cheese with onions and dill pickles, with a side of creamy horsey sauce. Putting it all together and eating it was transcendent. This sandwich can't be beat by anything that St. Louis has to offer. It's just that good.
Sandy Trieu
Food and drinks were great. I recommend fried chicken, seasonal salad, and flash fried spinach. Super yummy. Service is good. The decor is fun. Def a random Google find for me. When driving to/leaving from this place the neighborhood/streets hard to navigate. Can get easily lost especially at night.
Tim Keeney
Seafood pot pie, chicken pot pie, and meat loaf are tops on my list. Award winning bbq, too. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Looking forward to warm weather too enjoy the patio!
Judith Sandvoss
love this place except for the recent seafood pot pie for $16.99. It had maybe 6 small pieces of seafood, the bowl was not even close to full. The sweet waitress brought some extra shrimp of their Cajun shrimp dish, very small, and not good. The waitress tried, but they should have just taken it off the bill. I have had their chicken pot pie so I should have known better than to order this special. The chicken pot pie has some chicken but few veggies. Love everything else I have had, chicken, fish, burgers and the ribs are delicious.
Gerrie Eckhard
It's hot, hot, hot. The patio was comfortable. The pot pie was as delicious as ever.
Linda Moore
Great food and wonderful service. Staff was wondwrful.
Joseph Hiera
I've eaten at this establishment a few times and it's always fantastic. The fish sandwich is a must try. I'm happy to have this restaurant in my community and will continue to support them.
Linda Vawter
Had a great lunch. I got their 16oz. Pork steak which was wonderful. I brought home more than I ate, but leftovers are lovely. The service was excellent also.
Anna Gower
Cozy atmosphere and really good food. Burgers ground fresh every day.
Harrell DAVIS
First time I've ever been there and it was great. I'm so impressed that I'll go back first chance I have! People were friendly, sufficient, and the food was absolutely wonderful. Brought home a bread pudding dessert!
Joy Bogacki
We live in walking distance of Piccadilly, my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter loves to go there. If we go for a walk she tells me she is hungry and heads to Piccadillys how she remembers I don't know. I want to go to that little park and she tells me no !! I'm hungry, it doesn't matter if she just ate she likes going to Piccadilly . The food and staff are great. Have never gotten poor service are bad food. The pot roast is out of this world. So I would go on wed that is the special
Thank you
Joy

Love this place and the Chicken Pot Pie! The menu is scaled back from what shows on the website but I'm sure that is because of the Covid. They are following all safety precautions and we felt very safe.
Catherine Foster
Real BASIC American food. I like at least a touch of creativity in the execution of food I bother to go out to a waiter service restaurant for, and there was none of that here - and I DO NOT think just because it's old style American classics means it has to be boring. Steak sandwich and fried chicken and sides were not at all bad, but not a hint of a fresh herb or secret spice or anything more than the minimum required - if any of those ARE in there, they definitely could get braver with the seasoning. Steak sandwich was an average quality piece of meat, Green beans were just canned, mushy, and served in hot water. Chicken was probably the best in that it was cooked well, reasonably nice texture, but again, salt, maybe pepper, end of story.
Ed
On the expensive side but the cocktails and food are amazing!
Marilyn Wandersee
Great family run business. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The food is amazing!!
Shannon Fowler
Can't wait to return on a nice day to enjoy the patio seating! The food was amazing!
Kelly O'Shea
If you haven't been, just go. Third time there for us, we simply love the place. The food is fabulous, the desserts are divine. Simple and awesome all at once. Enjoy!!
Berri Jackson
Cute little neighborhood restaurant. The dish I had was excellent and the service was excellent. I would recommend reservations on Friday nights however it's not necessary. We arrived without reservations and were still seated rather quickly.
Bump2rf fitzj
The Picadilly Passion drink with grapefruit was tart & tasted good. The onion rings were just average. The pattymelt was really good. The atmosphere was excellent. We sat on the back patio where they played oldies.
Jonathen Tyrrell
Piccadilly is one of my wife and I's favorite dinner dates. It is one of the staples that we bring family to when ever they come to visit us in Saint Louis. They have, hands down, the best chicken pot pie that I have ever had and I'm pretty sure it's the only meal that I have ever gotten there. Tonight was once again, a wonderful evening and I recommend it to anyone that asks :)
J Baltaji
Piccadilly is great, I especially enjoyed our server Amanda! She was funny, efficient enjoyed, and employed sarcasm, which is always a plus for me. Comfort food....I had the Philly sandwich and while it was different than a traditional philly, still really good! I want to go back for the chicken pot pie
Dale Sewald
Their food is amazing. You would love it
Sandy Hahn (STLQueenie.)
Thanks to my Sister from another Mother in intoducing me t Piccadilly at Manhattan. Almst do not want to share how great this little gem is. Yep you want to keep it allto yourself so you can walk in anytime and be seated at your pleasure of the day . Ouside , ccovered semi outside or inside. Did I mention the food? It is really really good .
Mark Becker
Everything is decent, took about an hour at lunch time to get our food and we were the first here. 5 other tables were served after us and two of those had fried chicken. We were the only table under 50, so maybe they thought we could wait?
stacey Harris
Always delicious. Service is great too. We look forward to going again and again!
S. B.
Piccadilly has been amazing since their initial opening. Nick and Maggie, and Molly have certainly crafted a winner; as all their menu offerings have been top notch since Day 1. From the Seared yellow Fin Salad, to the amazing sandwiches, the great pasta, ribs to die for, the best pot pie and fried chicken in the metro area,...you cant go wrong with any single item on their menu. Boasting a fantastic wine list that compliments their palate, and a full service bar and house cocktails; this is the spot to go for high-class eats in a welcome and casual dining experience.
Terrie Correnti
Great food Great people. Owners gave us a special cupcake to help them celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary!!! Here's to celebrating 🍾 50 more!!! …
Joseph Utter
I had the fish and it was simply awesome. Highly recommend this place (only have done carry-out so I cannot comment on the dine-in experience).
Mike Fortman
Very tasty and always good. Can be a little crowded during peak times. You should eat at home if you don't like being around people.
Waitresses are fun you can tell they like working there.
Connie Emge
Generally, we have had great food and service here, but our last visit was bad. Service was more than slow. Our server disappeared for about 15 minutes after we said we were ready to order. And she reappeared with no explanation. And the food was only okay.
Midwest Coin Collecting
Loved their food. Classic flavors and great service.
Ken Raede Jr
What a wonderful little place for lunch. Girlfriend had the 3 cheese grilled cheese and I had the chicken pot pie that I heard so much about. Must say that it didn't disappoint. Definitely will be going back to try more items.
Rod Jackson
First time here for us. Our server, Brian, was exceptionally good and made some great suggestions. It was difficult to decide what to order, so we went with Brian's suggestions and were quite happy. Our business is only two miles from the restaurant, so I can see lots of visits to here. What a great find!
Eric Anthony
I went with a colleague for lunch and it was excellent. Had to try the fried chicken and my friend had a pot pie. We both loved it. Would like to go back to see if they can earn that 5th star from a pair of strict teachers.
Stephen Graham
Delicious food in a neat location. Nice selection on the menu. Rotating selection of three draft beers. Great prices. Large portions, enough for leftovers.

They still make down homestyle food that's made on-premises ,and not pre made else ware and reheated. I had their beef pot pie and Mayfair salid and it was excellent . They are well known for their pot pies . They also make all their dressing's .
Dale Rapp
Cozy place that has an awesome wait staff, definitely a hidden gem on the border of the south city... I had the sliced rib-eye and mashed potatoes... so YUM! I will definitely go back and I will have to sit on the patio and get some fried chicken!
Emma Crane
Amazing BBQ, very friendly staff and great cocktails. I'd personally suggest going for lunch or an early or late dinner as their dinner service is always packed (and rightfully so!)
Jason Rauschelbach
Charming small restaurant; great food, great service. Worth going out of the way.
Sharp T Borrine
You can taste love and genius (from three generations of chefs from this family) in the food at Piccadilly. On a cold afternoon, tuck in to the short rib pot pie, with its flaky fresh-baked pastry top, and its richly satisfying potato bottom. And if you are VERY lucky, the dessert special will be the magnificent bananas-foster bread pudding. Don't miss it.
Dawn Tibbetts
Amazing service and food, only reason 4 stars.. . I forgot my $50 worth of leftovers and no one ran me down with them to make sure I had them.....REALLY SUCKS.....I was more than looking forward to enjoying them.... although I know it is not their responsibility.... as a fellow Foodservice person I would have made it my responsibility
Jamie Brown
Food is amazing! Great friendly service, nice that they take reservations but not required. Enjoyed the outdoor seating options!
Elin Asvaldsdottir
Great historic restaurant! I ordered the chicken pot pie. It is large enough for 2 people. The Chantilly desert is amazing. I might go eat just a few of those next time.

This out of the way place hidden in the back of Maplewood is interesting. It has a very laid- back, homey, comfortable feel to it. The food itself was okay and they had a full bar that served cocktails and beer. Worth a try if you're in Maplewood and are looking for something unique.
