Excellent food and service. We didn't have a reservation but got there early before the Saturday evening rush and were able to walk in right away. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options and good brews. My only minor complaint is that the veg sausage was sweet like breakfast sausage; it should have been savory/spicy. I would definitely go back to try the other pizzas.

Had the BEST gluten free wings I’ve ever had in my life. Incredible texture and flavor! The pizza was also really good, although the crust was thin for my liking. Also had a spiked hot cider that was incredible! Highly recommend. I have Celiac and did not get sick from this place.

Best vegan pizza Ive ever had in the whole country (I travel full time and eat!) Their crust is fluffy. The flavors are amazing. The cashew cheese is the thing that elevates it though. They're like little crusty fried cheese balls and oh my god are they addicting. I wish they had more mushrooms on it though. The Cash one could have been good with some kind of balsamic drizzle happening too...just a suggestion.

Pizzeoli is the perfect blend of casual/upscale dining. The resturant is on the smaller size with somewhere around 20 tables(so definitely get a reservation on busier nights) but the elegant, chic atmosphere allows a quiet and more intimate setting which can be perfect for a date night. Now onto the food itself. The neopolitan style pizza is absolutely incredible and should definitely be considered in the list of the top pizza places in STL. During this visit we tried the Heatstroke which featured habenero pineapple sauce, pepperoni, bacon, jalapeños, and a cheese combination that was incredible. We also had the aracini balls which were perfectly fried and crunchy and the garlic knots which tasted like a far superior cheddar bay biscuit somehow. Desert was also spectacular! We had the chocolate cake which was perfectly moist and decadent, and the espresso icecream which was freshly poured at the table which was awesome to watch! TLDR - Incredible up-scale casual resturant that features top contender STL Neopolitan style pizza.

The wife and I had some crispy pineapple honey glazed habanero wings that had the right amount of sweet and spicy for an appetizer. We shared the Napoli pizza which was a great veggie option! Oh I forgot, the ice cream espresso was on point! Thanks for the hospitality!

Best pizza in St. Louis! We ventured there for a family outing Halloween Eve and couldn’t have been happier with the food, the service, or the environment! Highly recommend! This has become a now go-to spot we will drive from 30 minutes away to enjoy! Best owner, best food, best service, and has become a staple for birthdays, family in town, and a must visit hotspot!

This is the greatest tasting pizza I have ever had. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. It felt like Christmas. The music was nice and soft enough so we could hear it, but not loud enough where we had to shout. The restaurant is clean and rustic with old photos hanging everywhere. The tables are lit by candles. The smell from the entrance is amazing. It smelled like a bakery and a pastry shop at the same time. The restaurant smelled clean. The closest comparison I would have is like artisan soap. It was pleasant and flagrant. The only complaint I have is that the water cups are too small. We had 7 people so it went through it quickly. If you have a normal sized party, you'll be alright. I was already a fan of the restaurant when the food came. The pizza is unparalleled. I have never had pizza as amazing as I had. They bake it fresh in restaurant. The crust was cooked to perfection and I (as someone who hates crust) i loved it. The crust was charred to perfection and was crunchy. It paired well with the cook of the dough, which was perfectly cooked. The crust felt like a burnt marshmallow. It set the standard for pizza moving forward. The pizza was light and crispy. Each of the flavors of pizza combined into a piece of art. No words I have would do the pizza justice. I felt as if I were in a trance after each bite. I was silent as each bite took me further and further into flavor town. Pizzeoli is not a restaurant. Pizzeoli is an art museum and the chefs the artists. If you are looking at food options, please stop here. The food atmosphere and staff are amazing. Please consider it for your next meal.

Amazing place, amazing pizza! Loved the chill vibe. Started with the bread knots...YUM! Our two teenagers loved their pizza! One has an allergy to milk and they were great at accommodating and having options, even dessert, maple glazed cinnamon knots! Craft cocktails were great too...Mint Condition had fresh watermelon and mint. The Sangria was also really tasty. If we lived in STL it his would definitely be our go to pizza place!

Bc I’m Organic as much as possible, there’s only two sustainable options in St Louis (if you don’t count Whole Foods) to eat at and this is one of them. Even if I had 50 organic pizza joints to choose from, I bet Pizzeoli would still be my #1. You can watch these OGs wood fire pizzas while you chomp on some of their mouth watering wings. Writing this review is making me drool! It’s the woody, smoky fire smells & tastes for me !!! I don’t want to hype anything else toooo much bc it’s wood-fired-pizza but I’ll say it’s mos def worth every single bite, it’s one-of-a-kind in STL and within a 300 mi radius in any direction. I might even go as far as to say — through the upper Midwest even !!!

Had a great dinner at Pizzeoli! All of the pizza options were so good; we ended up getting the 12 South and the Golf Cart. Definitely get some garlic knots to start too. The staff was really friendly as well - a very pleasant evening overall!

You have GOT to come for happy hour! $3 seltzers and I think it was an $8 margarita pizza! The only thing is that the computer was supposed to automatically apply 50% off for our pizza and it didnt show up on our recipe! But the waitress was literally so kind about it and applied the discount manually. Great vibes all around

This is regarding a delivery. The website was straightforward and easy to navigate, and my delivery arrived much earlier than the estimate. I ordered the "Mike Check," which is made for the benefit of an employee, and the "Cashew Dill Pasta Salad." Both were delicious, especially with their prompt delivery. Everything seems fresh. Update: on the following order, I added ranch on the side, but never received it.

Simply amazing. Everything about this place would get 10 stars if possible. Our server Daniel answered every question we had, and there were several. And was all around awesome. Wings were great. We had the sauce flight. The Pineapple Habenaro sauce needs to bottled and for sale. Pizzas were all amazing. Every food allergy is accommodated. GF, dairy free, vegan, and no restrictions. Our DF person said the cashew cheesey spread was better than the Daiya (?sp) DF cheese she has had other places.and our GF person said best GF crust anywhere. Only complaint... you don't have a Kansas City location.

Pizza was great. One pizza serves 2 adults. The salads are also very good. Large enough to spit. Small restaurant so you may want to make a reservation. Check out Wednesday and Thursday happy hour.

This is a must try. I've been to countless cities in the United States and I've never had a better experience as far as service, food and atmosphere experience goes. I can't recommend this place enough. They have the best pizza I've ever tried. They also have amazing beer. The service was phenomenal and the waiter shook our hands and asked our names.

COVID-friendly curbside pickup available. However, even after giving a 30 minute arrival time I still waited outside for an additional 15 minutes upon arrival. Understandable for a busy Friday night for delicious wood fired pizza...but honestly it's a bit nippy for the extra 15 outdoors. I digress, the Magic Mushroom vegan pie was superb. Service was friendly on the phone call as well as the walkout delivery. I'll definitely return (calling before I leave home though)

An amazing place all around, the owner and staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I came in when it was not busy at all and we had the best service we’ve had in a while and some great conversations with everyone. The pizza is amazing; very high quality for fair prices. They have a great beer and cider selection and have a few on tap as well. My wife had a glass of Chardonnay that was lovely as well. Again, amazing place all around.

This was by far some of the best pizza I’ve had. Super fresh ingredients that you can taste the difference! We ordered the arancini with an amazing red sauce, the house salad and the fourth city sausage and pepperoni pizza with vegan sausage….all absolutely delicious! Service was also top notch. Our server went out of the way to make sure we had the best experience. I appreciate that so much especially during these times of short staffing and they did not disappoint. This will be a regular staple for my husband and I. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

The food was all amazing and unique. they have 12 inch hand-tossed pizzas. Many kind of pizzas were the type you cannot find at other places they even had this fig Jam sauce on one of them they had organic soda where you could drink cream sherry and pina colada flavored soda and blood orange Mina and Yuna loved getting tiramisu cheesecake, and pumpkin swirl cheesecake. they would not share even one bite, so it must have been really good. The service was also top-rate! everybody was very helpful and cheerful to be around

I credit the chef & the owner Kyle who prepare quality fresh ingredients in the food. The pizza was excellent & was devoured before I took my picture, the salad was actually original homemade ceasar dressing which is a totally awesome a different & better taste than the best store bought dressings. I suggest you come here if you want quality food in a newly designed cozy soft intimate dining lighting atmosphere with the best customer service I’ve received since the 1st day I’ve been there in 2018. Ask for Daniel as your waiter he is excellent. OMG! Order The Sangria.

Took my son here today for his bday. He turned 6. This place is awesome. A little pricey, but I dont mind it because the staff was a pure joy. We dined outside which was wonderful and refreshing. The staff also gave my son a piece of cake on the house for his bday. I wish that I would have gotten their names but I will definitely be returning really soon. Kyle Weber (The owner since it's est 4 years come Sept 2021) greeted me personally and led me thru the stages of wood fired baking of a pizza pie that has a crust that's divine to savior in ones palette !!! He also gave good suggestions on toppings and a fine pineapple cider made by Ace brewing to complement the pizza and house salad. All and all I would highly recommend checking out this treasure of a restaurant in soulard area of Saint Louis Missouri

I love this place so much!!! The food is delicious and amazing! I get the Magic mushroom and love it!! My fiancé and I have tried most of their menu and it’s all good. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options too. Also, the staff is great. Always a great attitude, great service, and male being there even more of a joy. The outdoor seating has been wonderful in the summer, I really can’t say enough good things about this place. I love it.

Soooo I really wanted to love this place and was very excited to go,the pictures give you so much flavorful anticipation, then the first bite is glaringly underwhelming. Very nice staff,love that you can see the kitchen area,love they give their staff the opportunity to create weekly fun pizza ideas too. Clearly great ingredients are used and lots of care go into building these beautiful pies, but the flavor is just not there. I'm not a fan of the flimsy crust, it just leaves something texturally to be desired. I want to say another couple minutes in the oven might crisp the bottom more, but clearly that's not the goal. It says right at the top of the menu, flimsy plus charred equals beautiful, well, no lie it's beautiful...just not my style. I've had some amazing wood fired "charred" pizza that really bad some black spots from the fire that were just heavenly, but these aren't cooked long enough to achieve that. That first bite reminds me of when you get a veggie pizza and the water from the veggies makes your crust wet after it's cut, it's that kind of texture... We got the bourbon wings, they were decent enough, but again not what I would go back for. Once you eat the toppings and get to the back crust part of the dough, that's pretty decent, it doesnt have a crunch to it, it's definitely more bread like,so if that's your jam, this is probably the place for you.

We did stop by here for our dinner after a great time in St. Louis. The place is amazing. We did try the Napoli pizza and it was delicious. We also tried Maple-Glazed Cinnamon Knots which could have been better. But this is going to be our Pizza place every time we visit St. Louis.

Excellent atmosphere and lighting for a date. 9 out of 10 for drink selection and garlic knots. Let me tell you something about this place: it's great. I just finished my meal, and I'm feeling pretty good about two things. 1) The balsamic is house made. I've never made balsamic, but it seems like these people know what they're doing here. Not too much of a bite, and just the right balance if you're not normally into throwing some down with your brick oven-cooked goodness. Ask for it, and they will oblige. 2) the margarita pizza is gonna take you to the next level. Is it big, expensive and in your face? No. It's simple, fresh, and just the right size for you to share, or take a few slices and run home to let your roommates or family know you ate some dang good pizza. Brilliance in the basics. In conclusion: just try it. It's good.

Giving this 4 stars from my past two experiences. First experience was in December and wow was it 5 stars!! We came to celebrate a friends birthday and picked this because our friend could have the vegan pizza. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the owner even helped us take the perfect group photo by adjusting the lighting for us. The second time I came in February with some out of town friends. This was a 3 star experience unfortunately. I was so excited to show them this place. We made reservations and were even sat a little early since we arrived early. We were sat by the window which was leaking cold air and was unpleasant. Then we needed a couple more minutes to order our food and the waitress didn’t come back for 30 min, i had to go tell the other waiter to get our waitress. The food came out fast though. But overall just a strange experience. I hope to give this place another shot soon. And I really want to see it succeed. Which is the only reason I’m remembering to give this review so it can only get better for others! (5 stars + 3 stars)/2 trips = 4 stars. Such good pizza!

Pizzeoli is one of the more underrated pizza restaurants in St Louis. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed my experience. The dining area has great ambiance and I loved the playlist they had playing in the background. We had the arancini to start. They were light and very flavorful. We heard great things about their garlic knots. We then got the Napoli and Pepper Pedler. The Napoli was great with the arugula on top. The Pepper Pedler was probably my favorite though. It was quite unlike and pizza I’ve had before. I’ll definitely come back to try out their other pizzas.

This is not only the best pizza and all of St Louis but the best pizza that I've had in years. Every ingredient is fresh. They do the dough rising the same day nothing is stored in a refrigerator till the next day and you can tell the difference. The dough is light fluffy crispy and the oven temperature is well over 500°. Everything they do makes all the difference and the guy that visited Florida and did some photography, we didn't get his name, is the chef at the oven and he is cool. This place is a gem

Pizza and atmosphere was great. We went during a free wine tasting with another couple. Took off one star because the woman conducting the wine tasting seemed annoyed by our being there and only continued to serve other tasters and the only way we received more wine was when we asked for it.

Long story short. These guys are absolutely amazing. Incredible pizza, and even better service. Everyone was an absolute pleasure to talk too. We talked with the owner for a while, really great guy. Big plans for his restaurant and that aside, the pizza was the bomb.com Me and my friends are in St. Louis for a weekend get away and we walked around for hours trying to find a place that will fit all 7 of us. And thank god so many places said no. Everyone here was super laid back, they knew their menu, they where extremely accommodating (currently renovating) so we sat outside and they put a table together for us and ran around making sure we were comfortable. Pizza came out pretty quick, it was hot, it was freaking amazing.. tasted great and we actually ordered 3 more to go for our Air b&b. If you love places that treat you like family and go above and beyond what a pizza place normally does for you, then check them out. Can’t wait to come see the place fully renovated. If I lived in STL we would be regulars.

Good selection of elevated Neapolitan style pizza. They seem to take their ingredients very seriously and that shows through in the quality of their pies. We had the Smokestack and it was terrific. The chili-kissed garlic knots had just enough heat to push them over the top from good to great. Great service, comforting ambience; a good place.

We had been traveling on a 14 hour drive. We were looking for a topping they didn't carry. The person that we spoke with really tried hard to accommodate us and we really felt like this establishment cared about customer service. We ordered 2 sausage pizzas. They were fantastic! The crust had such a beautiful bite, well done. We were so pleasantly pleased. We love supporting a business that cares about their product and their customers. Ok you gotta go here! We stopped here because another place close by had an hour wait. We had a group of 10 and they got us in very quickly! Our two waitresses were absolutely amazing, very quick and knew the menu well. We ordered garlic knots and arancini for appetizers and both were great but the knots were out of this world. Probably some of the best I’ve ever had. They had an excellent beer and drinks menu. Several of us ordered personal pizzas and they were so delicious. Overall the vibe inside was really great, almost like a small friendly Italian style family restaurant. We will be back very soon!

I’ve never heard of this place until today I ordered the pepperoni and it was a bit expensive for a 12” personal pie, 20 dollars, but I have to admit the pizza was fantastic. The sauce is perfectly sweet and the pepperoni was pretty thick with a great salty taste. The olive oil they put on the pizza you can taste as well; high quality ingredients done right. If it was priced somewhere around 17 dollars I think it would be well worth it, but the pizza speaks for itself in terms of flavor so I can’t complain.

Popped in for a Sunday night dinner. Plenty of angled street parking out front. First the starters: garden salad was exactly as advertised, well dressed with shaved parm and probably the least diet-guilty item on the menu. Don’t get me started on the pasta salad, it was sublime with some miso/cashew pesto binder that elevated it to a whole new level of pasta salad. Even the wifey who’s not a pasta salad fan was impressed. Ordered the kids pizza (and requested pepperoni) and the lad loved it. Keep in mind the kids pizza is the same size as all the other pizzas on the menu. The fountain sodas (with free refills) were a real treat. They came in some unique flavors, we tried lemongrass and blood orange and both were just right (not too sweet). Service was great and the proprietor gave us a little history on the place, including the custom-made imported pizza oven. Can definitely sense his pride in the whole place.

All great things to say: you have to get the garlic knots! They are the best I've ever had. The chili oil isn't too spicy either, so if you don't punk out, it adds great flavor and kick. Great pizza with premium ingredients that are totally worth the cost. They even make a kid's pizza. They have tons of vegetarian and vegan options. The carrot cake for dessert is also delicious, very moist and with tasty icing. Online ordering and curbside pickup available. The woman who helped me over the phone and who brought my food out was one of the nicest people I've ever met. The food also came out so quickly. It was really a great experience going there.

Our first time getting Pizzeoli was this evening. Not only was the pizza amazing, but the service was amazing. The best pizza I had was when we went to Amsterdam...This was right up there with it.. if not better. We ordered the golf pizza and our daughters ordered the Soulard which is vegetarian. The golf pizza had Hemmes Brothers cheese... so good. I highly recommend this place.. it’s a small business.. nothing like these chain pizza places. We will definitely be back very soon. Best Napolitano pizza in STL. The Margherita pizza is as good as Tony's in San Francisco. Every pizza we've had here is great but we always go back to the Margherita with its tangy sauce. Sometimes they have french fries fried in beef tallow. They are amazing. The garlic knots are to die for.

First visit and did pick up. Actually didn't end up eating it until a few hours later. Crazy, huh? Well a few minutes heat up in toaster oven and first bite I thought I've found my new favorite pizza! Got Fourth City. It is perfectly mildly spicy on best crust I've had in St. Louis. Usually don't eat the crust but tossed together garlic butter and dipped. Ended up eating all of the crust. So glad they are so close to downtown and look forward to when we can eat hot pizza in their place.

Great cozy spot, plenty of pizza option for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Affordable prices and sizes are all the same, each pizza feeds about two adults. The staff is helpful and understanding of dietary needs. Unfortunately was unable to dine-in, but the food came out in about twenty min. I ordered 3 pizzas plus some apps. So speedy service to boot. Great every time we go. This was the first place I experienced vegan meats and I didn't miss the real thing at all. The crust is amazing; chewy, slightly crisp, and always fresh. Delicious sauce whether it's olive oil, pesto, or the tomato base. High quality cheese is used. So the rest is all just a matter of preference. All of this in a cozy and clean establishment with a very welcoming staff. One of my faves!!

As a vegan, I can only speak towards their vegan options and overall experience. Pizza is one thing you really miss as a vegan and finding a pizzeria that does it justice is tough. This place blows all others out of the water. Seriously the best pizza I have had maybe in my entire life. Plus! They make their own cheeses that aren’t those fake soy based jokes! Their cashew ricotta.. oh boy is it good. Want vegan pizza? Head here now! Plus the owner and staff are awesome and will treat you well and carry out a great conversation. Great beer selection as well. Would recommend to anyone as one of the first places to visit in St. Louis.

Best pizza I've had in awhile. I'm actually not really fond of pizza and this place changed my mind. First of all our server Autumn was GREAT. That is a nice and cozy place. They have pizzas for everyone: spicy, vegan or classic, whatever you like the most. And your pizza will be made and baked in the real wood burning stove. During our visit they had a really big crowd of young people from Budweiser who were very loud. So their stuff helped us move outside and the manager came and apologized for inconveniences. We all, including our guests who happened to try an authentic Italian pizza, were satisfied with both food and service.

The kids loved talking to and watching the gentleman making our pizzas as well as the owner. Food and wine was excellent and you could tell they take great pride in their ingredients. Super good pizza. The gf doesn't do cheese these days, so their vegan options are a happy middle ground for the both of us. I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza, and it was super tasty, but the sausage was surprisingly a bit too overwhelming. I think just the pepperoni would have been a better move. Crust was excellent, go get some pie and you won't regret it.

I got the Magic Mushroom pizza and it was so good! Great place for vegan and vegetarian eaters. Also good options for omnis to try. The pizza dough is very good too! Situated on a cute street with good parking areas. Reasonably priced. I recommend ordering one pizza per person; even if you don't eat it all, it's not enough to share (without leaving still hungry) and you can always take leftovers home!

Fantastic pizza, and the new owners have a great vision for this place, it used to be a vegetarian pizza place (not vegan they use real cheese and do have a vegan cheese option) but they're looking at incorporating locally sourced meat. It is not too often that you find a pizzeria completely dedicated to their product. The chef/owner is passionately engaged in delivering the most authentic Napoli pizza he possibly can being 4k miles from Naples. From the 00 flour, to the specific shape of the wood-fired oven, to the freshness and quality of the "toppings", Pizzeoli executes flawlessly. The menu offers some can-never-go-wrong classics, but also a Bianca and others that are more jazzed up with complimentary ingredients. They have 'specials' as well that seem to be nightly/daily. I had a Napoletana special pie and...I went back again the next day for a menu pie. The craving was so strong I couldn't resist a second time! Nice selection of wines by the glass, bottled soda by the glass, and draft beer. Friendly service all around.

Tried pizzeoli for the first time ever and found out they are under new management. The restaurant was very relaxing with a knowledgeable and helpful bartender. Fantastic Neapolitan-style pizza. While I'm a purist and usually stick to classic Margherita pizzas (or similar), I can see how the lack of real meat options would be a turnoff for many. Pizzeoli only offers meat-free versions of classic toppings like pepperoni. They keep six beers on tap, and the owner is always a pleasure to talk to. I'm looking forward to his new NY-style concept on South Grand!

My wife and I ate a traditional margherita pizza the other night from Pizzeoli. It was delicious. Neopolitan pizza is a completely different style of pizza, so you have to keep that in mind when you go. It is not a cheese-and-grease soaked anvil that sits in your stomach the rest of the day--it is much lighter and leaves you feeling satisfied, not stuffed. The good: The dough was delicious. I thought it had good structure and a good chew. The char was great too. As we left Soulard it was the char taste that lingered in our mouths. The sauce was traditional--Neopolitan pizzas use a very minimalist sauce comprised of not much more than tomatoes from the San Marzano valley--and I thought it tasted great. The cheese held up well in the oven--I think I would've liked to see it melt a little more, though. The fresh basil was a great addition and added a great taste. A couple things that I thought could be improved-upon: Both my wife and I left feeling that the pizza was indeed delicious and a fair value, but we thought that it was lacking something. I think that something is salt--I think just a little bit of salt would have really brought the flavors out a lot. Perhaps the cheese that he is using isn't quite salty enough--I'm not sure. I do not know if olive oil was drizzled over the pizza, but I think that could have made it a little better. Overall, I thought Pizzeoli is a great little place. Having never been to Naples, I can't attest to the authenticity, but I thought it tasted good and from what I know about Neopolitan pizza, it seemed to hold true to the "rules." I would recommend the trip, especially if you haven't experienced the Neopolitan style.
