Good food and great service. They were very welcoming and made some good recommendations. We had shwarma salads and they were delicious. The meat was extremely tender and seasoned great. First time in St. Louis and will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Found this place from a gluten free app and it did not disappoint. I got a spicy chicken rice bowl that was delicious. I felt a little gluten sick afterwards but it went away fast so might just be a new food introduced to the body. Highly recommend.

Food was wonderful and the staff was great! Since we were knew to the restaurant, one of the staff took time to walk us through the menu and answer any questions we had. I ordered the Medina rice bowl and it was amazing. Their tzaziki sauce was mellow and refreshing. There wasn't an overpowering flavor of dill or cucumber.

Wow!! I can’t recommend this place enough. I brought 20 junior high and high school students from rural KS to St. Louis. I wanted them to try some new food while here for the City Museum. We stopped here and were not only served spectacular food, but received phenomenal service as well. They were quick, organized, clean, kind, and the food was even better.

Medina Grill is a fabulous restaurant with amazing options. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. They have a spicy option for each of their menu options. The Juicy Jerusalem was a harmony of flavors that each radiated after each bite. The bread was well toasted and garlicky. The beef was well seasoned and juicy. The staff was nice and helpful. One individual talked us through the menu and greeted us. A kind environment and staff awaits. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible restaurant. I am a regular here. The beef Shawarma is to die for. One of the best I've had. Also love the Damascus Bowl, the Chicken Caesar and the Shawarma Salad. Idk what they do with their beef but it is top notch. Def give this place a try!

I visited this place twice and ordered Palestinian shawarma that costs almost $10, salad and hummus. They stuff the shawarma with salad mostly, barely serve any meat or other ingredients. The hummus was also average. Not enough to fill one person, which is disappointing. Almost all of Mediterranean places I've been to serve good amount of food, sometimes enough to feed 1.5 people. Don't not recommend this place if you are hungry.

The guys at this place are very friendly and courteous and the food delicious. I had the rice bowl and the Jerusalem Sandwich. The food is fresh and served hot. I visited Medina Grill during my 3 day stay at Chase Park Plaza hotel and I wish they opened a franchise at Urbana-Champaign.

This is a small but delicious place to stop in for lunch. I had the $10 lunch special which included a full sandwich and half salad which was well worth the price. The gentleman at the counter was very helpful in outlining the available options and his recommendations were spot on. The 'spicy' food was just right without being too hot. Be careful of the tea dispenser. The unsweetened tea tasted like butter and the raspberry tea was overly sweet. I will be happily returning!

Delicious fresh halal food. Their menu is simple but has a variety of options that are both healthy and affordable. I liked the Do 2 option. The shawarma is super authentic, and the sauce is delicious. I like that they do not over season the food. Their kitchen is super clean and organized, which is why their food is excellent. I tried both branches. It is clear that they have the same standards, but I liked the food in this branch more than the other one. The only thing that I did not like was the fountain drinks. Yet, it was not a big deal. I would definitely eat there whenever I am visiting SL.

Excellent small restaurant that should be bigger! Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The man behind the counter was patient with us and explained the different parts of the menu we were unfamiliar with. The food was amazing! Tried the Palestine Original with beef and my wife tried it with chicken with the hot sauce. If you like spicy, go for the extra sauce. You won't regret it! Despite its small size with limited seating, I've bookmarked this place as a "must-revisit" on future trips to the area.

This place was absolutely amazing...there isn't a ton of room for dine in but it wasn't very busy for us. We got to sit at a bar and look out onto the street and it was peaceful. I've never had a better falafel! My partner had a spicy falafel rice bowl that was absolutely to die for. The rice was perfectly cooked. Staff was sooooo nice and polite! Awesome small spot that we just so happened to stubble upon while in town! Excellent, highly recommended!

I ate here for the first time today and left with a smile on my face. B, our host, was very kind and made sure our experience was pleasant. I ordered the Medina Grilled Cheese with a bunch of added vegetables, falafel bites, and hummus with Pita. It was all very delicious! The side dishes could have had a little bigger portions and the pita was rather tough.

I tried the beef shawarma, it was really good, I didn't like the concept of making the sandwiches filled with sides, because this is not the original but I can understand this adaptation with the US community. For sure I will try more dishes soon.

Very good, me and a group of friends went here after a short trip at the City Museum. The food is a bit pricey, but it was mostly worth it. The different breads and options make for a good, filling meal. Plenty of vegetarian, gluten free, and halal options available, which was nice. I would definitely go again if I lived in St. Louis!

I am such a picky eater (and a vegetarian) and this place was wonderful! I got the classic falafel, and their falafel was the perfect soft consistency (unlike the dry, rock-hard lumps a lot of places serve). I'm very picky about vegetables and I normally hate turnips, but everything was mixed so nicely with tahini and the pickles that I didn't even notice them. Great option for flavorful vegetarian food.

Was apprehensive at first but it turns out the food is amazing. If you're having a hard time deciding what you want the employees will take their time to explain what everything is. Dining area is a bit small but given the nature of the simple menu people are in and out pretty quickly.

This is good Mediterranean style food. I really like to taze that used to be in downtown but this is decent Mediterranean food. I enjoyed the falafel it had a greediness to it that I wasn't used to but it was still enjoyable. They have all of my Mediterranean favorites. Order at the counter. Pretty good food. Priced well. Excellent service from an enthusiastic crew. The beef was tender and flavorful. Chicken was flavored well but a bit on the dry side. Rice was a bit dry as well. Might be because i got there around 1:30pm for late lunch. Sauce was flavorful and the bowl looked great. It was just the right amount of food. Would recommend.

The food is pretty good. It's a little different than the Mediterranean I'm used to, but it's a chain so that's to be expected. It's a convenient location for me and it's fast every time I've been there. The prices are fair but I've found better from independent restaurants with more authentic food. I'll go back when I'm in the mood for Mediterranean without having to drive.

I am visiting St. Louis from elsewhere, a place where every third food joint claims to be mediterranean but few cut the mustard but this place deserves the title. As an Egyptian, I have to say this spot makes some of the very best falafel I have ever tasted! They are liberal with their falafel and fillings, falafel is well seasoned, not dry, veggies are fresh and not overwhelming. They have it sauced up so that every bite is coated. They’re spicy sauce is an amazing balance between spice and flavor! Compared to other middle eastern spots, you’re not finding any falafel as good as this spot.

One of my favorite places to eat downtown. Absolutely amazing food - highly recommend the Juicy Jerusalem with beef. The place is always clean and the service and workers are great. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food, a quick bite, or some place low key. It’s usually not terribly busy when I go but definitely does good lunch business during the work week and gets pretty full when there are events downtown too.

Went here a couple times with my coworkers while traveling. You can call your order in ahead if you are in a hurry. If you order at the counter they are pretty quick, but there can be a line around lunch. I usually get the Original Palestine. It is delicious. I recently tried the Schawarma Salad. Maybe the best salad I've ever had. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. A true five star in my book.

My wife and I ate there before a concert in St. Louis. It was small, but very clean. We were there on Thursday evening, and were almost the only people in the establishment. It seems to be a place for carry-out because there were a number of people coming in to pick up their orders. The food was very good. My wife had a salad with fresh ingredients. The meat was flavorful. Nice little place for a quick bite or carry out.

My wife ordered the Jerusalem and I ordered the falafel wrap. We got the spicy sauce as well and lemme tell ya it was absolutely outstanding. So very filling too. Always great food and smiling reception. I’ve been here four times now and have had sandwiches every time. And they are always good. Last two times I’ve had “Summer in Dubai” and have loved it! The only thing I️ would prefer for Medina Grill to change is not charge for extra sauce, at least not for the first extra packet.

Great food and always a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everything I've tried from the menu has been really tasty, the sauces make all the difference. Add in the reasonable prices and a punch card, and that makes a great place to grab lunch when you're downtown.

The aigosthina salad was delicious! I got extra steak on it too. Good prices and the staff was friendly. The Coke zero was out of syrup and the employee took the time to let us know when it was changed out. it was done promptly too. the decor is warm and welcoming

This quick bite is awesome, fast and so tasty! The rice bowl with all the fixings is amazing. The wraps seemed a bit small and the falafel had an interesting "funkiness" to them. But, overall, the food was well seasoned and we will be going back.

We love this restaurant. Try the original Palestine with beef. The rice bowls are a bit of a let down. The falafel is pretty good especially with the tahini sauce. I recommend the pita ' sandwiches', as they are all quite delicious. Kind customer service and a clean establishment.

This place is beautiful just to look at more or less to eat in. You get that real downtown feel by just being in here. The food is excellent and the service is great. The price for an average Joe who works hard for little to no money this place is expensive but if you got a little put back or you're a downtown money maker then you'll be fine. I highly recommend.

I always like to find a good middle eastern/Mediterranean food place when I travel. I walked to the location during my lunch break and got there around opening time. I walked in and was welcomed and offered immediate assistance. The menu had a lot of delicious items but I came with a purpose. I judge these types of places on their falafel. I got the falafel sandwich which came on pita. The falafels we're generous in side and tasted delicious. I opted for the spicy version and it was just right. When I ordered I was also informed of the combo option which included chips and a drink. Overall it was delicious food in a warm cozy environment. The price was on point as well. It will definitely be a return visit when I'm back in Saint Louis.

This is a nice little fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant with pitas, salads, and rice bowls. You get a pretty good amount of food for your buck, and everything on the menu looks quite appealing. The meats, veggies, sauces have lots of flavors that mix well together, though I think some of them can be a bit too salty. Overall, Medina has very good service, food, and value, and I'd recommend giving them a try!

I love Mediterranean food, and have been hard pressed to find quality places in St. Louis until Medina opened. I loved their Original Palestine before I switched to a vegetarian diet, and now love their falafel. Make sure to ask for it spicy, if you can handle a bit of heat, it's delicious.

Very delicious! I stayed in a hotel that was about a 20 minute walk away and considered going back to get another. The hummas tastes fresh, veggies in the shawarma were fresh, meat was perfectly seasoned. This will be a regular stop for me whenever I'm in town.

I have gone here at least four times before writing down this review. If you know about this place, it's because you're likely going back to this place. It hits all the notes of a well ran and well set establishment in St. Louis. The servers are kind, attentive, and friendly. The food is beyond delicious and has made it to where I have a pavlovian response to visiting family in St. Louis, I always expect to go to Medina Grill when I'm there. Their Juicy Jerusalem is a masterpiece, with or without a side salad which are also good and so refreshing! Falafel is an amazing snack of interesting flavor and their selected dipping sauce that goes with it only bolsters more fantastic flavor. It's also right along a street full of cool shops and scenes that you could start or end your day there and it will guarantee a great time. If you haven't been there, go. If you've been there, what are you waiting for? Go back!

My daughter and I needed a place close to the Stifel before a concert last night. SO glad we came here!! Excellent food—she had a falafel bowl, said it was excellent. I had the chicken dodana, which was perfectly spiced. And the baklava?? OMG!!! Over the top!! The only thing better than the food was the service. SUPER friendly people!! They really started our night off right!! I’m already craving it again!!

I've been on board with Medina's since it opened. Great food, consistent quality, great prices & great team behind the counter. My favorite menu items are the Original Palestine with Beef (sandwich) or the Shawarma Salad, also with Beef. Sometimes I get both (You do 2) and sometimes I do half beef half chicken. No matter what the price to food ratio (especially considering the quality) is totally justifiable.

My finicky 8 year old loved the c’zar salad,’y hubby’s falafel was excellent, my 11 yr old daughter thought the grilled cheese was the best she ever had. I tried The Summer Dubai and only wish I could get this in Kansas City!

Medina Grill is a great little cozy restaurant on the corner of Wasington Ave and 14th Street good for a quote bite to eat! The menu is boadcast on a TV screen to the right of the entry way. Total of three screens that really depict what the food will look like. The food is always fresh and prepare in view of the customer! It's family owned and operated! The food is especially good if you are a vegetarian but they also offer meat in sandwiches and salads. The aroma is fantastic! They have a small selection of drinks kept in a refigerator. The bathroom is clean.

My kids & I stopped here for dinner on our way to Chicago from Dallas last week and we are so glad we did. I had the Juicy Jerusalem and I can honestly say it is the best sandwich I can remember having. The combination of the chicken shawarma, marinated peppers & onions, and melted provolone was enough to give the sandwich a positive review. But then, it's almost unfair that they put this all on a warm French baguette that is slightly crispy on the outside and soft & airy on the inside. As I'm eating the sandwich, I'm thinking to myself; this the best sandwich I've ever had! But we have all said that in the heat (or eat) of the moment. I ordered a 2nd one and split it with my daughter just to be sure. For the past week I have talked about this sandwich to my friends. I have gone through my mental rolodex of sandwiches to see how it stacks up, and it holds its own against my other favorites. Finally, this morning I was laying on my couch just day dreaming about that sandwich wishing I could have one back home in Dallas. So I feel like I'm really not exaggerating when I say the Juicy Jerusalem is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!
