For a casual quick lunch spot, Bread and Circus is 5 stars! Their open patio is perfect on a cool autumn afternoon (like today!) and they even have space heaters outside if you need extra heat. The inside is open and casual. They have an eclectic menu of fun sandwiches (and not sandwiches - see the menu) featuring other local small businesses, like bread from Looks Marketplace. I’ve been here three times now and it’s never disappointed. Today I got the B&C burger. Although the bun was a bit soggy from the sauce, the burger was still delicious and everything I’ve got here before was always good too. Would recommend for an easy tasty sandwich lunch when you are downtown Sioux Falls!

Wanted to try a new place with my fiance Friday so we chose to come here and were not disappointed! The inside is set up nicely and the young lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful with our menu selection. My fiance went with their staple sandwich which is the fried chicken sandwich and I went with a cauliflower and chicken gyro once the cashier recommended adding the chicken to it, both were extremely delicious! We also got an order of fries to share, one order is all you need because the portion size is huge, we had more then enough to take home. Don't forget to get the fry sauce dip as well. My only regret is I did not take a picture of my gyro but I'll be sure to get one next time. They also have a good selection of beer and wine to choose from as well and would be an excellent place to have a few drinks and a bite before exploring downtown Sioux Falls. My fiance and I will definitely be back! Also I forgot to mention their potato chips are some of the best I've ever had they are the perfect amount of crispness without being too overly salty, I couldn't get enough of them!

Seriously run, don't walk to get your own naughty fries! These were a 10/10 for me!! You can't see it but there are marinated steak tips in here and the homemade ranch was delicious! I'll be going back for those soon!! The reason we went was to try the Chicken bacon ranch battle burger. That was my first one and I'm saying 8.5 now 9 when you add more ranch. The chips were delicious especially when dipped in the ranch. The chicken parm was huge!! It was also good but not as great as the other items... if I'd change anything, it would be to order light sauce or marinara on the side and add a dash of salt to the chicken when hot out the fryer or a little in the sauce. Definitely going back to try more of what they have to offer. They are dog friendly, nice to see happy puppy faces.

Excellent place to eat after exploring at the falls. Every dish was amazing - curry, tuna melt and the special of the day a buffalo bowl. The cheeseburger met a picky child's expectations. If ordering the fries as a side...one plate is a huge portion, fed four as an appetizer with leftovers. Staff was friendly and helpful answering questions on the menu.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this place in Sioux Falls. Delicious food, though the fries weren’t seasoned very well. Very friendly and helpful staff, the menu, though small, had very good options. Gender neutral bathrooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely more of a place that you would expect to find in a larger city, but very pleased to have found it in Sioux Falls.

Nice atmosphere, ok service. Very limited menu but something for everyone. We ordered the falafel and the burger. They came out relatively quick, however my burger was not very hot. It tasted wonderful otherwise. The falafel with a pita was delicious too. I hate eating outside so we enjoyed a table inside. After getting our food we never saw the server again. We will be back.

Really enjoyed it here. Sat on the patio and loved it. Liked having crinkle cut fries! My wife had Thai crab Rangoon and really liked it and I had the falafel. Falafel could have used a little more sauce (was a little dry) but still really enjoyed the flavor.

I saw this place was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and put it on my must see while in Sioux Falls. It did not disappoint! The pork belly gyro was so flavorful and the house fries with the fry sauce where so good. I want to come back and try the Vietnamese sandwich! They have both indoor and an outdoor patio for seating.

Wonderful experience, beginning with a fantastic meal of Vietnamese Fried Chicken served as a salad. Then I had a chance to meet the owner, Jordan, and chat for awhile. Great guy, made my brief visit to Sioux Falls memorable and gave me even more reason to return to this quaint city in the future. I also got some excellent intel on the local scene. I can't wait to come back and try more of this creative menu.

While oddly named, this was a warm, homey style restaurant serving food I'm quite familiar with as a native californian. Fresh, local, and most likely seasonal as nothing I'd seen in other reviews was available during our visit. Husband enjoyed his parmesean sandwich with the slight complaint that the marinara was a bit spicy. I had a berry salad that was wonderful.

Very friendly staff and delicious food! Stopped by on a cross country road trip and did an online order. Order was done right on time and packed up well. Large beer selection as well, we got some of that to go as well. Food was super tasty and good portion sizes, I had the Pork Belly Gyro and it was delicious!

I had the red curry pork tonkatsu sandwich. The kitchen modified it to non dairy for me because my digestive system hates me. So, this isn't standard but it was still phenomenal.

I had their special "Red Curry Pork Tonkatsu Sandwich" and it did not disappoint, it smelled fabulous and tasted amazing, the kettle chips were an added bonus, good salt level and extra crunchy. If you are looking for an excellent sandwich place with unique options this local place is top notch!

Stayed in Sioux Falls for one night and chose to eat at Bread & Circus Kitchen - definitely the right choice! Friendly staff, great location, and atmosphere (we could sit outside, no wait time, and a music festival going on down the street). The food was creative, fresh, and delicately balanced, definitely a highlight of our trip. Cannot recommend it enough!

Saw on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and HAD to stop on our way back through SD… Great, fast service! All the staff was super friendly and helpful! AMAZING porch dining! The winner meal at the table was the Vietnamese Fried Chicken Banh Mi! I’m not a cauliflower lover, but Guy Fieri said it was “the best curry he’s ever had” so I had to try… it was great—for cauliflower lol! (A little nit-picky, but my husband and I enjoyed the Curried Cauliflower and Pork Parm once we had a little extra salt)

*UPDATE* We visited today and we all LOVED our meals! My mother-in-law & I devoured our Q Burgers, and my husband didn't leave any of his Pork Parm behind. Can't wait to return! We had a GREAT experience back in the summer of 2018, and we're looking forward to FINALLY revisiting soon enough when it's safe to travel again! Grateful that they look out for the health and safety of their customers and staff!

Fantastic service. You will feel at home here. All of the dishes we have had are great but the cauliflower curry naan sandwich/dish was a huge hit for our family! I added chicken this time for a more filling dinner. The ramen was sold out but we look forward to trying it on our next visit.

The Vietnamese chicken sandwich is the thing to get here. Obviously everyone recommends it but it is a thing to behold. It is crunchy and bursting with flavor, and the aioli and pickled vegetables add a creamy tang. Everything was pretty affordable, being around $10. Great experience and atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I had the porkstrami and my wife had the Vietnamese fried chicken sandwich. My kids 9 and 10 had the regular burger and not the kids meal burger, and they were able to polish them off pretty easily showing at the portions are a little bit on the small side. Flavors were good, not outstanding, they could have had a little more cowbell and it would be over the top.

I really enjoyed my experiences here. The food is really good, and some of the best that I think you can find in Sioux Falls. The only thing I can fault them for is that the sandwiches do seem a bit expensive for what you get, if they could add something other than a small side of chips though I think it would be well rounded out and I'd see myself going often. The sandwiches though really are great, and have flavors and combinations that are truly unique and will have you coming back. You can even get any of the sandwiches as a salad which is awesome for those looking to skip out on the bread (which is hard as it's some of the best you can find!) They have some good options as well when it comes to beer, with many rotating taps featuring local and imported craft beers. One of the unique things I wish more people knew about though was that they offer ramen which is at this time a sorely missed food item in Sioux Falls. Well balanced broth flavoring and thickness, with some quality noodles and a very well cooked pork belly. You just can't go wrong!

$14 Hawaiian plate—Kalbi Short Ribs, Rice, Island Mac Salad, Green Onions & Sesame Seeds. Four stars-though this kalbi isn’t Hoban’s, it wasn’t horrible. The kalbi itself was a little overcooked, but flavorful in its own way. The macaroni salad is quite unique also, it’s got a savory, sweet & crunchy element to it-very fresh tasting. The rice was cooked perfectly also. Service was also good

I very much enjoyed my dining experience at the B&CS. I was able to walk right up and order, I got the brisket and my wife had the Italian. The bread is delicious with a hearty firmness that escapes the abilities of distant sandwich shops like SUBWAY or as I prefer to call them McSub. The bread was toasted with the distinctive flavors of a good brisket without the overdone burnt flavor that the inexperienced are masters of. The ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Beautiful outdoor seating area, and fantastic food! We had pork belly sandwiches and nacho fries, and they were perfect. The tap beer selection was really good, the boulevard brewing berry noir was a great compliment to the food. We'll be back next time we are in Sioux Falls.... my (non-foodie) kid even bought a t-shirt! Side note... my other kid didn't love her mac n cheese, but she was tired and crabby so I'm sure that had something to do with it

Deliciously crafted small sandwiches, with soup, salad, and beer also on the menu. My girlfriend and I came here on a Friday around 4 p.m. and got the Alaskan cod sandwich and it was very good. Very good! Not too busy, and the staff is very friendly with helpful suggestions and eager to guide newcomers. With the gorgeous outdoor seating area and the delicious food, we will definitely be coming here again!

Delicious sandwiches, every time! When I can convince myself to order something besides the Vietnamese Fried Chicken (which is bomb.com), I'm always happy with my choice. Unique flavors, and great food quality. Customer service is top notch. We love the patio, and so does our dog! We also love the craft beer selection (and $3 pints on Mondays!) I also love that Bread and Circus continues to require masks inside the restaurant. I appreciate their commitment to every customer and staff member's health and safety.

Delicious food! I ordered the Curried Cauliflower, and it had great Indian spices served on fresh naan bread. If you don’t like spicy/hot food, it was not hot, at least not to me. Staff was courteous and friendly. Great patio; kid friendly. Great craft beers on tap. Very much appreciated the self-serve water station on this 100 degree Independence Day! Would 100% recommend this place!

I got the Vietnamese Chicken sandwich, and it was good, I just got too much beer flavor in my food for me personally. That being said I loved the chicken and how crispy it was, it wasn't greasy at all, if you don't mind beer flavor then I would recommend highly.The atmosphere was good nice decor , interesting seating, you can also sit out side when it's nice out. Overall really good would go again definitely. The staff was great as well 😁 always made sure we had enough and wasn't too much either, just the right balance. 10/10 for the service.

What really stood out to me about this place was how friendly the staff was. Each employee that I interacted with was very helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Variety of unique food and beverage options. I went with the Walleye Cake Sandwich and was very pleased. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had the Szechuan pork belly and fries. The fries were hot and crispy. The dipping sauce had a citrus flavor- not what I was expecting, but pretty good. The pork belly was delish- super flavorful. Cool atmosphere. The place was a little hard to find, but not a big deal. I’d return!

So patient and helpful to us first time visitors from our of town, offering suggestions and personal recommendations on their menu. Had and loved the Q Burger the Pile of Dirt Porter on tap. Will definitely recommend them and should we return to Sioux Falls again, will come back for more

What an amazing restaurant! We were traveling on I-90, and I can guarantee that hopping off to travel ~10 minutes south of the highway is well, well worth it! We enjoyed a couple of delicious, really unique/special sandwiches and a fresh, tasty salad with a refreshing drink on their spacious, comfortable deck. This place offered a welcome break on a long road trip, and I could not recommend it more!!!

Dog friendly spot! I have only been here two times with my dog on our "mommy/puppy dates". Charli thinks the chips are perfect ! Myself, I do enjoy the sandwich I always get (the italian!) The service here is wonderful and the staff is very kind and patient with guests who are having trouble choosing between a sandwich or salad. Very clean facilities and very clean dining area, inside and out. Again I only have been here twice but it was a good experience both times. (that is the only reason I have given it 4/5 stars.)

With description I thought they'd have a Ramen soup but the server said it was only in winter....huh? My hubby s potato soup was good in a small cup and his Vietnamese chicken sandwich didn't taste oriental at all. Just fried chicken in a bun. The bite I had was stringy. My cauliflower curry sandwich was ok but I wouldn't get again. Be aware dogs are allowed and I love dogs, but a guy brought a pretty badly behaved large golden doodle which I thought might jump on me! Please only allow good behaved dogs. This place would feel at home in Portland Oregon as it is fairly "woke,"

The beer selection is fantastic and takes pride in being local. The menu is very diversified and offers something for everyone. I had the Moroccan chicken salad and it was delicious. Our friends had the various burgers, but they were a little underdone for their liking. I’m sure that could be adjusted by simply making it clear your desired temperature. Overall I thought it was great and plan to go back at some point.

In Sioux Falls for work, found B&C online. Took me 30 mins to figure out what to order because of the incredible menu. Chose the Pork Belly Gyro, AMAZING!!! Found out about this place due to the Downtown Restaurant Week event. Stopped in to try it out. Very cool place. Staff was super helpful and attentive, food was cooked to order and fresh. Some reviewers have been unhappy about the food prices. Yes, the price is a little higher than many people expect in our area and the portion sizes are not huge, but after traveling as much as I have, I have found high quality food and low cost rarely go together and if you were on the East or West Coast you wouldn't bat an eye at the prices. If I had one tiny issue give us more chips please. Beer selection is pretty good and they had a steady stream of of people on a Sunday afternoon so they must be doing something right. Two sandwiches, two beers, an order of Naughty Fries and tip was right about $50.

We ate here on our way home to St. Louis, Mo. The Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich and Naughty Fries were great. The salads our daughter and son-in-law ordered would have been wonderful had there not been insects in the salad mix, not intended to be part of the salad I must say. When my daughter took the salad back to them, one person said "Oh you got a bug" The other person at the counter said "No good..no good" and offered to make another salad. At no point did anyone apologize or offer a refund. Obviously, we did not want another salad because just didn't want to risk anymore moths in the salad. Unfortunately, I will not be back to try the salad to see if we could enjoy an insect free salad.

Saw this place on Triple D so stopped in. I had the Q burger and the Mrs had the Pork Parm and we shared an order of house fry's. Owners of the restaurant please don't take offense to what I'm about to say... The Q burger wasn't bad it just wasn't great. The meat patties were bland, no seasoning at all, the sauce that comes on it had a little flavor but not much. The Mrs ad the Pork Parm which was really good. The house fry's which were a really good sized portion didn't come until after we had finished our other food and I was just literally getting up to cancel them. I will try this again, just hope it improves

I heard about this place from a few people and was suggested to stop down and try it out. All I can say is wow. The food here is amazing. I had the Hawaiian plate and it was just enough to leave me stuffed. The staff here was very helpful and friendly!!! One of those hidden gems!!! Me and my boyfriend went here for dinner last night and had such an amazing time!! We ordered an Italian Sandwich and a Burger with bacon. The Italian was so good I made my boyfriend switch with me because I wanted it so badly 😅 (sorry hun). We mentioned we are traveling from Alabama and they gave us the last eggnog ice cream and said “Welcome To South Dakota!” The service was amazing, the people were extremely welcoming and inclusive, and the food was DELICIOUS! This place was recommended to us by a friend and we're so glad we went!! The smoked wings are SO GOOD!! The general tso's sauce was incredible! We also got naughty fries- loaded with chili verde and pickled jalapenos! Didn't get a sandwich but from looking around the sandwiches were loaded and served with chips- so classic! Next time we're in Sioux Falls we will definitely be back!

I finally went today for lunch. The ice cream is prepackaged, and $4 gets you the same amount of ice cream that comes in a ice cream sandwich. It tasted fine, but not $4 fine. I ordered the regular fry’s with fry sauce. In my opinion Sonic, and Culver’s fry’s are far tastier . My entree was the Vietnamese chicken thigh crispy sandwich, for $10 I hoped that the taste would have been amazing, but there was little flavor, few spices, and the sauce was “blah” I’ve never been a fan of Burger King, but both their crispy chicken, and spicy crispy chicken sandwiches are 10x better then bread and circus. I’d give this sandwich 2/10 Edit the best part of the sandwich was the buns they get from Look’s Marketplace, but I’m not about to pay $10 for a bun. Service was friendly and polite, I’d give them 9/10

Amazing! We were in Sioux Falls for the day on our way to Badlands and picked up some sandwiches here for lunch so we could have a little picnic at the park. We were all blown away. First time there today! I had the lamb tostada, my husband had a cup of soup and the smoked brisket on brioche. My tiny little portioned dinner came out, we waited..... nothing else came so we split my appetizer sized entree. A few bites from the end my husband's cup of soup came out, we waited..... we split the little cup of soup and finally the brisket on brioche arrived. My husband ate it and we left. Food tasted good, nothing special, but the slowly serving our meals at different times was wildly unappealing. Our dinner was $29.02, we drank water. Overpriced for portion sizes, and the sevice (I use the term "service" loosely), was absolutely unacceptable. Too many better places in town!

Definitely go! This was great. We ordered online for pick up and their service was fast, friendly, and they had a clear and easy safety plan for pickup. We felt very comfortable with their procedure for pick up and we appreciated the care they took to help us feel safe. We enjoyed the falafel on Naan the best and the Vietnamese chicken was a surprise hit (I get wary when the word cilantro starts getting thrown around). We also tried the Schnitzelwich but found that while unique, it wasn't nearly as tasty as the others. The only reason we didn't leave 5 stars was that for as awesome as their sandwiches were, their sides were lackluster. The standard side was just run of the mill kettle chips. We ordered the basic fries too, which were pretty basic. But either way, the kettle chips were totally acceptable for the price we paid knowing how high quality the sandwiches themselves were. Check this place out!

BTW, to the reviewer that said he paid $18 for a sandwich, not sure what he ordered but, I only paid $17 for a sandwich AND a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA which is an incredible deal.

It was so good. Just straight up super yummy. I took my boyfriend here and we got some fun sodas (blood orange Pellegrino and strawberry fanta.) We shared the raclette burger and the ramen shio. The broth was flavorful and had just the tiniest kick but a really clean flavor. The egg was perfectly jammy and the yolk soaked up the flavor of the broth (best bite) and the pork was super tender. The burger has a really hard sear with a coarsely peppery outside and the cheese was so gooey and delicious. The lil pickles on it were the perfect texture, the lettuce was clean and fresh, the bun had an amazing toast but was still really soft. It was just perfect honestly, awesome lunch, thx guys !! Still the best spot in town 😊

Omg. Wow. This might be the best sandwich of my life. Roasted Turkey *hot* with this to die for pesto sauce. I find myself tempted to lick the tray where the sauce has deceitfully decided to drip. But what an artful drip it was! And don’t even get me started on the bacon on this sandwich, I’ll leave it up to your imagination....(I’ll just give you this *crispy & thick*). My only mistake was not bringing a friend to share the fries with...those were piled high! Too many for lil ol me, but you best bet I made a valiant effort!! The fry sauce reminds me of Cane’s and you can never go wrong with that.

well laid out place. Counter order, take number, and seat yourself kind of dining. Creative sandwiches, and they even have fry sauce for those folks from Utah and Idaho who are visiting. Food comes out in an appropriate amount of time. Fries are an appetizer, not a side-order. All sandwiches come with chips. I recommend the Porkstrami sandwich, great smoke character with the pastrami-like flavor in the meat. The naughty fries are quite solid too.
