Reviews of Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge

Oh my, this was an amazing meal. What a beautiful day, and to celebrate, they had all the dining room windows open. Great view of the Space Needle.
*5 cheeses tray was so savory
*The goat/beef meatloaf was so tender, and so well seasoned.
*And to finish, butterscotch banana cream pie.
How am I ever going to walk back to the car a half mile away
Nap time.......

I really enjoyed this place. We made a reservation for 4 and got seated within 5 minutes. We came for brunch and I appreciated this spot because it’s different than your typical brunch spot, given that it has a Cajun spin on it. The menu is pretty dense front back. I liked all the options, it I did have to look on google and yelp to understand the dishes, so I think the servers could augment the experience with some suggestions of popular dishes or personal favorites. I ordered the Lucy but I didn’t get eggs on mine, and my friend ordered the same thing but from the back of the menu and hers came with eggs. I really liked the Lucy. It was a nice blend of creamy and spicy, with a hint of vinegar that tied everything together. If you’re looking for a fun brunch spot, definitely check this one out. It was awesome!

Loved the atmosphere! Our drinks were great. We had a variety, and everyone in my group was impressed with their drinks. We had a couple small plates, and the bananas foster for dessert. I will definitely return to try more items on the menu!
Update:
Came back for breakfast. We ordered the bananas foster pancakes and the meatloaf. Both were very good! Portion sizes were filling and we were definitely satisfied.

We reserved a table a week before we visit Seattle to ensure we get to try this place after seeing so many good reviews not only from Google Map but also from a Chinese app “RED”. They didn’t disappoint! One of the best restaurants we tried at Seattle. Loved every bite of our food. It was during happy hour and the price was also very reasonable. We showed up an hour earlier and they were able to sit us right away.

My order was seafood gumbo and beef slider during happy hours. Dine in, inside was nice. Gumbo was good, pack with flavor and full of seafood each bite with rice and little kick. I also got beef sliders, it was cooked perfect and seasoned. This is when u know the food is good, u don’t ask for condiment or salt or pepper. You finished everything. It is pricey for the portion. My friend like his pasta, it was pasta with artichoke.

This was a nice place to get something to eat late. They had fried green tomatoes which I've always wanted to try! We also had the ribeye which was pretty good. I kind of was expecting more seasoning on everything but overall it was a great place for a date or girls night. The best thing is it's open until 12:30am so when most places are closed they are still open.

Place is nice and has a nice ambiance. I had the lamb leg and the dish seemed to try and do too much. There were a lot of flavors in the dish but it didn't mesh, and it just clashed with itself. My wife's salad that she ordered was also mediocre. The cauliflower crab soup though was great. Overall I was disappointed. I don't always expect to have great food when I go out, but at the price tag I expect better.

Do not miss a trip to this place if nearby, we ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner on different days during our stay. Each meal was excellent, lovely depth of flavours and nice heat to the meals.
We had the terrine, jambalaya, halibut, Acadiana scramble, lamb and lentils and a couple of other dishes. They have happy hour for breakfast during the week. This was our favourite restaurant for our trip, beating the pink door. Staff friendly, it can be busy so reservations recommended.
Oddly they add a living wage tax, which I was informed by staff was a Covid tax for cleaning and masks?? I didn't mind as I really enjoyed each experience, but was doubtful that was the reason. Highly recommend

Food was fantastic. Went there for my anniversary and it did not disappoint. Harrison our waiter was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Had a lot of recommendations and was able to clearly explain the meals and desserts. Definitely recommend coming

Everything here is fantastic, don't let the Greek dinner size menu scare you. The bloody Mary is very peppery, but the spiced salt rim is delicious. The lamb sausage is made is house and has all the country flavors you expect, and the terrine wrapped in bacon is made so well you can cut it with a fork.

Traveled down to Queen Anne today, tried out this place, my partner in crime has been viewing online. It was a bit hard to find parking, due to allot construction in the area. Music was a bit louder than my partner cared. Otherwise, food was fresh, hot, and very deep in flavor. My partner ended up ordering a last-minute bloody mary. He liked it, was just the right amount of spice. I enjoyed the gumbo, and the depth of flavor was good. I wish I had some bread to go with it. Like a rustic type of bread. We also ordered the shrimp and grits. Along with a side of Dungeness crab and green tomatoes. The meal was great. The only thing was there was a pesky fly buzzing around us, trying to land on our food. Probably because we got there so early, there were just 3 tables being used there at the time we got there at 1100 a.m. Closer to noon, the place started to come alive. I would recommend reservations for larger parties or as you get closer to lunch. They have a very large breakfast menu along with a breakfast happy hour menu. Bring your patience for parking and bring your taste buds for a place with a New Orleans take on their menu.

Service was pretty friendly, we had a reservation and was seated promptly. The ambiance is very nice. Lighting was great with the 250 votives candles lining the walls. Very picturesque. Everything seemed well kept including the bathrooms.
The food was bland. Didn't seem seasoned, and was unfortunately lacking any flavor. One of the bottles of wine that we had (2016 Bordeaux), had quite a bit of sediment. Never seen that much, and a couple of us got a mouthful.
Quite pricey, but that was expected. My friends did have items that they enjoyed, but I didn't have that experience.

O.M.G. If you ever get to Seattle, you MUST visit The Toulouse Petit restaurant. The food was heavenly. The fried oysters was one of the best meals I have ever had. True Po’ Boys were fantastic. New Orleans seems to have relocated the best restaurant it has to here. Great bar as well.
Steven Kou
Great Creole food near Seattle center. Doesn't seem like you can go wrong with anything you order here, though the menu is hard to read/navigate. My seafood gumbo was delicious and full of flavor, and my girlfriend really liked their prosciutto gnocchi. If you have multiple people hungry for dessert, definitely try their brownie sundae.
Dom Weldon
Delicious food and stylish decor in this Queen Anne restaurant. Service was amazing. Everything was fresh and tasty. The Pre-fix happy hour menu is amazing because it gives you actual portions of menu options. Will definitely return!

I really enjoyed this place! We made a reservation for 4 and got seated within 5 minutes. They have a giant menu, so many food options.
We ordered a grimaud farms muscovery duck with sprouts, Toulouse seafood gumbo, french onion soup, mushroom gnocchi, and mussels red basil. Super recommend the duck and the mushroom gnocchi. The duck is soft and not greasy. Th gnocchi is well seasoning. I really like those dishes.
About the dessert, we ordered Banana Foster and Chocolate cake. The banana foster is special. I like the chocolate cake with their house burnt sugar syrup and ice cream. It's an amazing taste :)

We went to Toulouse Petit Kitchen and Lounge for breakfast on vacation. This place is great. It looks like it gets pretty busy on the weekends, so make sure you get there a bit earlier to grab a table!
My husband and I tried a few things that were delicious. I can attest that the chicken fried steak and the Creole biscuits and gravy were delicious. The creole gravy is to die for! It has a slight bit of heat to really amp up the flavor, and really goes good with everything we had there. I'm normally a person that likes to keep food separated, but it melded together so nicely, that was not even a thought when eating here. Great place! Highly recommend!!
amanda
Awesome atmosphere!!! Our server was so accommodating, super nice and great advice and knowledge on the dishes. 250+ candles covering the walls making this French/creole restaurant very moody and romantic.
We recently got back from France and I will still say this Food was DELICIOUS. We got a little bit of everything. Just GET the pommes frites! With whatever you order. Best fries I’ve ever had. Muscles were awesome.
I got some kind of gnocchi and honestly wished there was more pastas and less of everything else they added in to the dish(it still tasted good!) but next time I’d just get something else as a main.
Leah Day
We had a reservation for dinner on the fourth of July. The place seemed pretty busy but the service was good! We tried their French onion soup and their visychoise which were both great. Our entrees were also good but not amazing. My boyfriend had the King Salmon and I had lamb with pureed potatoes. I asked for my lamb to be cooked medium and it was definitely overdone--no pink in sight! The flavors were good though.

Really really REALLY good food.
This is one of Seattle's most prized brunch spots (largely due to their famous beignets) but in all honestly, I found their dinner to be far more impressive. Plus, the moody lighting in there at night makes it a fantastic date night spot. And another plus: you can still get your fix of beignets on the dessert menu if you opt for a dinner reservation!!!!
Whether your reservations are for brunch, lunch, or dinner, you will walk away full, deeply satisfied, and ready for a nap.

Celebrated my birthday for brunch here. It was recommended by a friend. The atmosphere was a vibe; chill, cozy, a little romantic with the candles. The service was quick. We had mimosas and they were tasty. The food is impeccable. Like the flavor is…🤩
Recommend the egg benedict and the biscuits and gravy.

I generally don't write reviews but I had to for this place. I can't believe it's not a perfect 5 stars for this restaurant. They have a vast menu which ensures you'll find something you like on it. Everything we had was just awesome. The beignots were just marvelous. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Seattle. Can't wait to try more things on their menu.
Came back here a second time for dinner. Absolutely amazing, the ambience is even better for dinner. The menu is so vast its hard to decide what to eat. We ended up doing the 3 course meal. The portions are gigantic and it's next to impossible to finish. Can't wait to come back again and try more things 😀

The best dinner places in Seattle. Omg their menu is excellent and every dish is excellent in taste. We got into the restaurant during their happy hour menu and their sliders are a must try. The lamb and chicken sliders were on repeat orders, delicious , tasty, finger licking good. The crawfish and shrimp dishes were amazingly good. Definitely coming back again
Antonio Bernal
Fantastic. Top three best breakfast in my life Only issue is the restrooms need attention and there’s a lingering smell. Not sure if it was a homeless person they (so nicely) let in or what but the fisherman’s breakfast was delirious. Delicious. I want to eat again.
Jay Finesilver
Wonderful meal. Went for brunch on a Wednesday. Big menu w variety of Cajun choices. I had shrimp, sausage and seafood Benedict. To me, better than new orleans. The beignets were scrumptious. A chill vibe on a weekday morning. Food came out quick. Lots of locals in the know were there. Solid service also.
Anna Baatz
While the scramble I got was pretty good, I definitely should have ordered something more fun or signature from here, like the crabs benedict which my friends loved and raved over. Definitely will come back and try other things. The menu is huge, a bit overwhelming, but definitely a good variety. And the beignets were super fluffy with a very delicious coffee sauce to dip them in. Interior is also so cozy and date night worthy :)

Hearty New Orleans style food. The egg Benedict selections had the same two poached eggs on muffin and choices of different meat like oysters, prawns, ham and bacon, etc. The Bayou "Fisherman's Breakfast" With Creamy Grits And Two Farm Fresh Eggs was spicy and delicious.
Derek Baure
A very chill and cool vibe restaurant/bar. They specialize in kreole type foods but still serve your typical American style foods. (Steaks, burgers, pasta) keep in mind everything has that southern flare. So food will have more kick than usual. That means more flavor and more spice.
The ambiance is kinda old timey, candle lit pub. But the food says fancy restaurant. The food was tastey and flavorful. Just keep in mind it's pretty pricey. Be ready to spend easily $50+ a person for a meal.
I very much enjoyed my meal and I was prepared for the price. But I know some of my friends weren't.
Overall nice charm, flavorful food, tasty drinks, and you pay for the good stuff. If you have the money I would recommend you try.

My husband and I came in at the tail end of happy hour on a Wednesday and it was very lively inside. We were seated quickly and our server was quick to get our drink and appetizer order. We managed to also get in the 3 course meal orders at the end of happy hour, it was really wonderful she was able to do that and let us know the first and second courses may come together. When they came before the mussels we ordered, she was apologetic and comped the order - which was super kind and unexpected!
The food was fantastic. Between us we had the mussels in basil sauce, leek and crab soup, gumbo, beef and pork noodles, rockfish, and two sundaes. We also ordered four drinks. The portions are generous and we left more than stuffed. The price for the quality and the amount of food we had was also more than reasonable. Definitely worth a stop in!
Jonathan Kim
Had a lunch at Toulouse Petit. Food quality and taste was kinda all over the place. The dungeness crab over fried green tomatoes was very good and I'd highly recommend it. Fried half chicken over gravy was also seasoned well and very tasty. The seafood gumbo tasted a little underseasoned, peppery enough, but lacking something. The kurobota pork/gnocchi was the saltiest food I've ever had at a restaurant. It paired well with the gumbo though. The beignets also may not be what people expect. Ours tasted slightly overcooked on the outside but extremely doughy and pasty on the inside. I've heard that's the New Orleans style though. I'd normally give it a lower rating, but it had a very nice vibe and solid service. Presentation was decent, price wasn't too high, and they seemed to be accommodating of groups without reservations. I'd like to try their brunch next time. Overall, the entire covid situation hasn't been particularly great for any restaurant, so it's good to see them still working.
Rosary “Rose” Uti
Celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday here and the food was delicious! The beignets were cooked/fried to perfection and just everything was on point. We highly recommend Toulouse Petit and will be returning here again.
Annie Kingston
There’s something special about Toulouse. I found myself googling quite a few of the ingredients, simply because I rarely eat Creole food. But in the best way, and it was exciting to try something new. The atmosphere was busy, but casual, with hundreds of small candles framing the gold velvet banquet seating. We had prawns, chorizo and grits, after asking for recommendations from the impressive, yet overwhelming, menu.
Julia Gall
Food is delicious (I had jumbo shrimp with cheesy grits yum!!) and bartenders were friendly. I had a mocktail which was pretty delicious.
Only complaint is that we walked in for a table, and while we are happy we got a seat at the bar, it felt pretty uncomfortable (elbow to elbow). We saw that about 50% of the restaurant was empty (reservations apparently) and continued to be empty even after we finished our meal. Not sure how their waitlist system works but perhaps it could be improved.
MisRiss
I like this place because it had a nice ambiance, very calm place also candles lit all around the room. Dinner was okay I had a jambalaya.. but I enjoyed his meal better which I believe was a steak and mashed potatoes. Also tried the Cajun Croquettes for appetizer and they were also decent.. The taste was not what I expected but again the service was pretty good.
Kris W
Wonderful space, food, customer service and atmosphere. I had the Toulouse Seafood Gumbo. Rice was spicy (all of it is), house Made andulie sausage with house made shrimp stock, dark mahogany roux, crawfish, shrimp and pacific fish. Pretty expensive, but really great food and drinks.
Brett W
We were just looking for a snack and so only ordered mussels. Our waiter asked if we’d like an extra baguette and brought us one at no extra charge.
This is a beautiful restaurant, and I thought the service was exceptionally good as well.
Richie Newberry
Great food, great service. Mussels ordered as an appetizer, came out after our entrees. Normally not a huge deal, but waitress took them off the bill. Great gesture that was highly appreciated. Restaurant is nice, perhaps a bit warm on the inside. Food is delicious. Gumbo was so good that I ate it all and forgot to take a photo for this review.
Rebecca G
Toulouse was a very pleasant surprise to find. The decor was unique and beautiful. The service was excellent. The food was amazing. This is a must-stop for breakfast! You won’t be disappointed.
Kevin Morimoto
Tried the Toulouse Petit Kitchen for the first time last night before The B-52's concert and we lucked out to get seated at the bar right away, as we watched many turned away on a busy Monday night. I had the Toulouse Seafood Gumbo and it was really good and had a nice spice kick to it. My friend she had the burger which came with a salad & Fries.
Jeremy
I was a big fan of this place. Hit it up on our way back to Vancouver.
We grabbed beignets, a full French press of coffee, a seafood breakfast skillet and an eggs Benedict. We were very happy with all of it and would recommend this place.
Emma Klein
This is a fantastic brunch place. Busy and bustling but quick service and kind waiters. The menu has a good variety that would cater to multiple people. Cocktails in the AM is totally acceptable here. I loved the French look. Definitely recommend.
Shane Alder
What an amazing dinner! I was surprised by how much flavor was packed into the soup and squash gnocchi. I wouldn't waste your time on the Po Boys, over priced and kinda disappointing.. But the Beignets were fantastic.
Sameet Sapra
I’ve been here a handful of times now, for brunch and for dinner.
I try to make it a point to come here every time I come to Seattle, that’s how good it is.
The beignets and biscuits are the highlights in my opinion, but there are so many good dishes on this menu that it’s hard to go wrong.
I normally don’t seek out Creole food but this place is an exception.
Kris A
popular brunch and lounge in Seattle.
lineups on weekends so get there early or be prepared to wait for seating.
Great place for brunch. Food is excellent! Lots to choose from but their Drinks were average.
Wish their drinks were a bit better though.
Victor Wang
Came here after a early dinner elsewhere for some dessert and a secondo piatto (second course). Ordered the steamed mussels and braised oysters which were both fantastic although a bit on the pricy side.
Also ordered a multitude of dessert options which were all quite delicious with massive portions. Service was quick and efficient.
Brandon Le Henaff
Ordered the French Onion Soup and the Jambalaya and was not disappointed. The soup was wonderfully cheesy and well seasoned, and the Jambalaya was heavenly, and did not skimp on the meat.
The restaurant is lovely, with dozens of candles flickering against old fashioned walls. Custom metal lamps hang from the walls and ceiling like plants and flowers, it's incredibly atmospheric. Can't wait to visit again!
John T. Oliver
Made a Sunday afternoon reservation and was pleasantly surprised for my first time visiting this spot. Great appetizers, a cup of gumbo is a filling portion. If you prefer a more hearty roux, skip the gumbo and order other delicious soups on the menu. They can cater to various tastes and likes. The gumbo includes crawfish already out of the shell, I personally enjoyed it. I also ordered the 28 day dry aged T bone steak and grits...superior bombness!!!!! The icing on the cake is the Creme Brule Trio and Banana Foster's...tastes like the bottom of a banana pudding...ultra sweetness and deliciousness!!!
Ben Jams
Weekday brunch here was a satisfying experience... not for your wallet though. The restaurant itself looks very well decorated and the staff seem very attentive and professional. The menu items can sometimes read a little pretentious but the food delivers.
Food: 8/10
Service: 8/10
Experience: 8/10
Value: 6/10

Beautiful place but i did not feel the food tasted as good as i expected it to for the price and the decor/ambiance of this restaurant. I had the lamb and pine nut sausage rigatoni, it fell pretty flat, there really was not a lot of pasta and i felt it over a bit soft and probably overcooked, it also didnt taste any different than non-fresh pasta, i assume this place would use fresh pasta. All in all the pasta dish was a disappointment for me, but i was pleasantly surprised when i ordered lemonade and it was actually real fresh squeezed, so points for that.
Kat P
The picture is our second round of beignets! That coffee sauce is amazing!
We love our happy hour. This place, so far, is the best happy hour place we ever came across! They even have a 3 course meal in their happy hour menu. This is such a great place for a group gathering to intimate date with your lovie! Highly recommend this place.
noah
Really solid place with great tasting food, Parking is easy with the many parking lots around, interior is very nice. Bar has a good selection. The food even though it tastes good, it’s very small portions. You also need reservations since the place is so busy.
Jupiter Marie
the food & drinks were AMAZING as well as the service. the vibes throughout were immaculate, apparently they spend hours to light all the candles around the restaurant daily.
if you love seafood, then this is the place to go!
Steven Tuttle
Amazing place for brunch. We made reservations but had to wait a little while to be seated. They apologized and dropped off some beignets as an extra apology. The food was great and drinks were great too. The French toast is the top rated and I can see why now. I had the Acadiana scramble and it was amazing. I also really liked the atmosphere of this place. One thing I will say is it gets a little expensive for brunch but that’s just something to be aware of.
paty cente
I don’t know how this place does not have 5 stars! I have been visiting Seattle for a week and this is the best meal I’ve had so far. Meat was super tasty and fries were extremely crunchy. I had dinner at the bar, not a table, and Jeremy was very kind. I will recommend it to everyone that comes to Seattle.
Ephraim Fields
Being born and raised in Louisiana I have hesitations about going to Creole inspired restaurants, but this restaurant did not disappoint. We ordered the Seafood gumbo with fried chicken bites on top and Lucy’s Creole. The gumbo was excellent and we enjoyed their culinary take on the creole shrimp and grits. And as if that wasn’t enough, I have to say I’ve found some of the best beignets here on the other side of the country, which were perfectly paired with whiskey ice cream.
Farzana Ahmed Siddique
Nice place near Space Needle. We did do reservation beforehand. The food was great and the fries was so tasty! Oh if you like pecan pie do try their one. That's heavenly!
Michael Barton
Toulouse is a benchmark of what Seattle could be if places stayed opened past 9pm. An ambiance of hundreds of flaming tea candles light your dining experience in this bustling late bistro. The French inspired Cajun and Creole riffs are as creative as they are delicious. Fried chicken in gumbo may be blasphemy but it works. The service is prompt, engaging, and welcoming. Skip the cocktails because while good, they're not quite great - unlike everything else. I would always be happy to return here.
Michael Opalinski
Toulouse Petit has for years been a staple of Queen Anne dining. Both dinner and brunch are well spent here. The atmosphere is a little loud and crowded, but always fun. The New Orleans favorites including gumbo, muffuletta, and po-boys are all really well done, and a little bit "elevated" in experience but with true to the original flavors. Top it off with a Hurricane and you'll feel like you're in the Big Easy.
Aryan Neb
Some amazing food, great lighting and an amazing atmosphere. We stayed in Seattle for two nights and this was the best food we had. HIGHLY recommend the bananas Foster. Also get a reservation beforehand!
Brad Rasmussen
I like the atmosphere very cool and fun, good food a bit pricey, maybe a half ounce of Dungeness crab on the cauliflower soup, nonetheless a delicious soup. however, maybe a tad less truffle oil as it tends to overpower the other flavors. The Nola salad was also great. The bartenders were pleasant and attentive.
Xiangyu Wu
Liked the Lucy dish best. Fried chicken is a no-no as flavorless. The rest were fine. Definitely on the pricy side but has a good vibe.
Rawlins Maye
This place was absolutely great! Since I'm creole, it was hard for me to choose a dish so I got a burger and fries. Lol!
My friends loved there dishes so that was reassuring.
The atmosphere was amazing, I think there were like 1000 candles lit! The Japanese Whiskey was great and it went well with my burger!
I will be back with intentions to try the fried chicken and gumbo!
Luis Turrubiartes
Landed and came here as a first stop in the city. Food was very good. We didn’t leave anything on our plates at the end. So you could say the portion sizes were perfect (at first we thought they weren’t enough). Didn’t have to wait long to get in, which made sense since the food comes out very quick after ordering. We’d come back if ever in town again.
Angela
Pleasantly surprised how cute it was inside with all the candles and despite having to sit at a shared table on stools we had a lovely meal and our server was helpful with my dietary requirements. I had the gumbo which had a good amount of spice. $122 for 2 meals and 2 drinks
David Nold
So many choices on their menu. Not sure but think they all might be extraordinary. Make reservations on show nights especially. And they are prepared to rush rush rush if need be. Easy walk to McCaw so park there. Great wine selection. And very reasonably priced….ish.
Krishna Chaitanya
Amazing taste, but felt the portion sizes are smaller compared to a typical similar restaurant. Excellent service, menu options, variety and ambience.
Vanessa A
Checked this place out for brunch and was very excited by the decor and atmosphere. However, their menu is more overwhelming and confusing than the Cheesecake Factory one. The waitress was lovely though and did her best to help us pick from all the options. We started with the famous beignets which were a little dense but came with an interesting coffee syrup. Next we tried the Big Easy scramble and the dungeness crab benedict. They were both fine and had good Cajun flavor but I don't think it added to the food in a meaningful way.
Overall, I think there are much better brunch options and much better cajun food options that would be more worth it. I am interested in coming back to try out their dinner menu to see if the experience is better.
Street parking only in this area. More likely to find a spot if you go off the main roads and go further from the Seattle Center.
Amy Schilling
Some of the best Cajun food I've ever had. Warm and Romantic atmosphere but it can be a bit loud. Great spot for a second date or if you just want to impress someone.
Suwida
The food was good but the service was terrible! Waited almost an hour to get our food. The excuse was they burnt the french onion soup... really?? Then why can't they bring out the other 4 dishes that we ordered!? The waiter also messed up my order, I asked for fried chicken gumbo and he brought out seafood gumbo. Overall, disappointing experience.
Jagrat Shrivastav
The best best Eggs Benedict I've had! Go for the spicy barbecue prawns - egg Benedict if you prefer spicy food.
Melissa Allman
Came in from out of town, wasn't aware I needed a vax card or negative test (within 48 hours), but I was determined to eat here specifically. I went across the street to the store, bought a test, took it and proceeded to dine here. Sooo happy I did. The food was delicious, I sat at the bar and had a great dining experience. The bartender was personable and made sure I was happy with my meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Just make sure you are prepared prior to dining.
FNU Aman Kumar
Great ambiance and tasty food. Southern style chicken was delicious. Also the cocktails were really good. Would definitely go there again!
Nueva Taina
I came to this restaurant for beignets and ordered to go. The dining area is charming and very nicely decorated. A lady who I believe was the owner, Shannon, saw a family waiting in the chairs to be seated so she pulled up a table for them and let them pull the chairs they were already sitting in around it. Then when my order was up, Shannon handed it to me and told me it was on her and she already paid for it. Wonderful hospitality and a beautiful eatery 😇. They go above and beyond here!
Michael DeGraw
It was super busy, but our table was ready within a few mins of our reservation. Host stand was professional and warm. Really fun interior with lots of tea lights and a very well stocked bar. Our server was really nice and easy going. Food was cooked very well, we tried a bit of everything and nothing was overdone. We were here to treat ourselves and we did just that! Definitely recommend a reservation and the blue cheese ribeye.

This was a long awaited one for me and I really had a good time. I had taken a sandwich and my wife took the fisherman's breakfast. Both our dishes were really good and I like the French press coffee for the table. They even gave a complimentary appetizer as they were not able to give our table on time for the reservation. The staff was very good, friendly and prompt with their service. I really like the French onion soup which cam along with the sandwich. I gave a 4 stars as I feel that they could further improve their service.

Worth every penny. I had high hopes for this restaurant once I saw the reviews and it did not disappoint. We went for Happy Hour, aka best deal in town, and I would go back a thousand times. The cocktails were spot on and not weak like at a lot of other places. The food was deliciously made and seasoned with fantastic sauces. The ambiance of the restaurant itself is what took it to another level, I could sit in there for hours admiring every tiny detail. If I am ever in Seattle again Toulouse Petit Kitchen will be my very first stop!

The food here is amazing and the ambiance is just as good. The creole food is upleveled a bit with quality ingredients and excellent prep. As crazy as it sounds I enjoyed spending my money here.

Food was delicious. Both chiken and seafood gumbo were perfect. My wife really liked her po boy.
Would highly recommend people go to this restaurant.
However, we got the food delivered and the containers for the sauce for the beignets melted and they were soaked.

Amazing food, beautiful setting, great location! The creole salmon was so good! They have an extensive menu and it was busy for a Tuesday night. I recommend reservations.
Yandong Li
I like their pasta and gnocchi entries, very flavorful and satisfying. It's much easier to get a seat at weekday lunch, compared to weekend. I also highly recommend their bread pudding, great way to wrap up the amazing meal

Absolutely the best creole food I have ever had! From the moment you walk in, you enter a special place. There's so much to see, from glass to tiles to candles. For non alcoholic drinkers, you'll be pleased with their assortment of mocktails (my favorite is Strawberry Bliss) but they have an impressive wine and cocktail selection. We got their version of a Ceasar salad, the tuna and the halibut and their trio of crème brûlèe. Everything was delicious. The customer service was exceptional - our server was friendly and answered all of our questions. Dishes disappeared as soon as we finished our plates and waters refilled without us noticing. In terms of safety, we appreciated being asked for our vaccine cards right away and noted the fiber class between booths. Reservations are highly recommended - they were unsurprisingly full and you won't regret having your seats ready. Parking is very limited, so ride share, public transportation and parking in a garage nearby is your best bet.

I had the biscuits and gravy, as well as a mimosa amd French press coffee. It was all amazing, would definitely recommend! We went on Sunday morning and there was a line on our way out so get there early (10/11-ish) if you can!
Alexis Rae MacGregor
My girlfriends and I came here for brunch. We made reservations and I highly recommend making one, if you are planning on going during the weekend. There was a line of people waiting out the door when we left the restaurant.
The food was amazing along with the service. We got a variety of food to try and share between us from grits to polenta cakes to benedicts as well as beignets.
Leanne O
Lovely ambience and delicious food. Menu was so many pages, a bit overwhelming. Although we were in a group of 4 and everything we ordered was flavorful and well executed. This meal was definitely a highlight of the trip.

We went in at 3 after the Nutcracker. Beautiful restaurant. They had switched to the dinner menu but were kind enough tk make the muffuletta for me. They have a kids menu! Really good good, great service. Highly recommend!

I walked in droopy eyed with my Pedialyte in hand and asked the waiter if there was a corkage fee (there isn’t). I ordered the ‘Lucy’ and mimosa. As I wait I pour my electrolyte friend into my water cup and slowly sip, only today is it better than coffee. My ‘Lucy’ comes, I immediately take a bite without gauging the temperature. Pleasantly surprised by the Goldilocks temp, quality, taste and spices. Delicious. My only note is that they should provide me a spoon. So that I may scrape the sauce from the pan more efficiently.

Ok so the ambiance of this place is what really takes the cake. Absolutely stunning. Service is great and food is delicious. I got the butternut squash gnocchi and there were a bit too many mushrooms on it for my liking but the flavours together were spectacular and the gnocchi itself was divine.
Noe Barba
Great food, had delicious french toast for breakfast and it was my first time having a beignet(it was fantastic) the 3 stars are on account of a couple things. I did order scrambled eggs and got a scramble with a bunch of onions that was less than great, when I asked the server if I could have just scrambled eggs she clearly didn't approve of my request but indulged me anyway. The eggs I got after were the creamiest butteriest eggs I've ever had. The other reason is that I just can't believe the decor. The walls look like they're melting and so does every light fixture in the place, it's pretty off putting and I'm not really one to care about that sort of thing usually. Overall great food, ok service, and weird unpleasant decor.

made a trip to seattle recently primarily for the food and this place was so good for dinner one night that we ditched our original breakfast plan and opted for brunch here the next afternoon. the menu on the site is a bit overwhelming to look at but was also a bit different from the one available at the restaurant, which was a surprise but we were told they had just changed it like a day or two before. my partner got the french cut dry aged steak with the frites and aioli and even with how much the fries had soaked up being under the steak, the aioli was still incredibly tasty with the fries. the pictures are a before and after of the steak (which, if it isn't clear, they REALLY enjoyed.) their review (given while eating) was "life changing" and "the best steak i've ever had" and, a bit closer to the end, "i wish it was never ending". the rest of the table had the jambalaya, the king salmon, crawfish and shrimp "beignets", the asparagus with black vinegar, and the mashed potatoes, all of which where amazing. somehow managed to not take a picture of any of them, but to be fair my camera didn't really like the lighting from just the candles. we were all so full by the end that we decided to only get one order of the beignets. this was a mistake. if you know what's good for your soul, get at least 2 orders of the beignets! they're SO, so good. we will definitely be back when it's a bit more reasonable than a 4 hour trip to get there.
Faith Lucas-Scott
Been here for brunch and dinner! One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle! The brunch was one of the most perfectly made ones I’ve ever had! Love the ambiance and quick turnaround of my food order!
Eva Lee
Awesome Cajun food dining experience, big menu, good service, full list of wine and bar selections. Fantastic food to dive in, very satisfying!

Highly recommend making a reservation before coming here, otherwise you would have to come in very early, even before they open, to get a table. I was lucky enough to find a reservation the morning we wanted to go, so I quickly booked it and headed on over right after. Even though we arrived before they opened, there was already a line outside. When I reached the hostess table there were still plenty of open tables but it was still very safe to have gotten the reservation ahead of time.
I ordered the Acadiana Benedict ($25), as well as tried the Toulouse Beignets ($11 for 5 pieces). The benedicts were probably some of the best ones I've had. It had tons of flavor, but it still left room for me to taste the crab, prawns, and sausages in it. The beignets were light and fluffy, and it came with this coffee sauce that you could either dip the beignets in or pour on top.
Our server was great. The whole ordering process was quick and easy and he was great at giving us recommendations from their extensive menu. Our food was brought out at a reasonable time, and he kept checking up on us periodically as well as constantly kept our glasses of water full throughout our visit.
I've never been to a French-Creole place so this was a great, unique experience. If I'm ever in Seattle again I would most likely come back to try out their dinner menu as well.

I try the French toast and biscuits and gravy literally every breakfast place I go too! The French toast, was very sweet. Be warned, however if you split it with someone you won’t necessarily feel like you’ll fall into a diabetic coma. Still worth the risk. The biscuits and gravy was very filling, they offer very generous portions of food. So please believe when I left I was definitely stuffed. Literally everything on these two plates complimented each other. A perfectly sweet and salty combo to start the day.
Micah Clark
Toulouse Petite gave me a slice of Cajun creole flavored heaven in the haven of the PNW. Admittedly I had to wait for Seattle Restaurant Week, as their prices fit the effort and craft into each dish, but the art served to me was well worth the patience. The food was heavenly and each flavor was balanced without being overly rich. I could have demolished a mountain of the crab beignets with sweet pepper jelly and I'll savor the memory of the Lucy Shrimp and Grits for many years. I can't wait to return and savor the full menu variety. A must do for anyone with a sizeable food budget or a romantic.
Savannah Weng
Love that Salad! Nice and fresh. Dishes are amazing with good vibe in the restaurant.

Revised review at the end.
So there was a bit of a struggle to get in. We had a reservation, we got there on time but was told everyone in there was running later than they should so we would be about 10mins wait. After about 20mins we asked again and they promised it would be soon. Fast forward 45mins past our reservation and we ask again to find out our table had been given to someone else. They immediately gave us the next available booth. They also gave us a free round of drinks and an appetizer due to us standing out in the rain for 50~mins.
Even due to all of that I give 5 stars. While they need to be more realistic about seating/waiting expectations, they recovered it by being extremely nice and the free drinks didn't hurt. What was interesting was I thought there was a 1.5hr limit on dining but we heard that one table had been there for 3 hours, which for sure was why our reservation was so late. (Kick them out next time? I've had restaurants do this to me, there's no hard feelings)
The food was amazing. The crab dip appetizer was to die for, if you get an app you have to get the charcuterie, the cheeses were life changing. They had a great selection of wine and cocktails. The food was great, I've attached pictures.
The ambiance is like nothing I've ever experienced. It feels so warm and comforting, they have candles lining the walls. It's the definition of mood lighting. I think this is the best restaurant I've been to in Seattle.
Cons: long wait time, no indoor lobby; you have to stand outside in the wet Seattle weather
Pros: literally everything else
I've been back multiple times since this post and just want to say I've never had a problem since with getting in on a reservation. And their food is always the most delicious thing ever. I got the st Helens Ribeye and some asperagus on the side and it was beautiful and flavors I never thought of. In love with this place, keep it up.
Fahad Aqeel
Truly a great culinary experience. The ambiance and decor were awesome, the service was great, and the food was simply delicious.
Rebecca Leigh
Honestly I wouldn’t change a thing about Toulouse! Love they take reservations so you’re guaranteed a table. The food and ambiance is phenomenal! I haven’t tried dinner options yet but plan on it. As far as brunch, it’s everyday till 3 and outta this world! Personally the benny’s are bomb! My fav one is the oyster benny. Po boys are so good too! You must get the beignets too 🔥
Joey bag-o-doughnuts
Brunch was to die for, maybe even to kill for...Duck confit Benny, which they allowed me to create myself seeing how it wasn't exactly a menu option, and shared some French toast, fresh strawberry were a great addition. Places like this are hoard to find where you taste the love and care in every bite ❤
Christina
As someone who travelled to many parts of the world and tried different cuisines, we were unimpressed with what we ordered. As it’s our first time in Seattle, we’re not sure if it was because it was a very busy lunch weekend, COVID related, etc. but the food was just okay. Unfortunately, nothing stood out for us and maybe we ordered the wrong dishes.
We ordered the catalan prawns, the gnocchi with squash and mushrooms, beignets, and a pot of coffee. The gnocchi was very dry and lacked taste. We didn’t want to bother our server given it was completely full and it seemed the staff were all over given it was full capacity at 100%. The best part of the meal was the coffee.
Presentation wise, it’s 5/5. Taste wise, it’s 3/5.

I fell in love with this restaurant before I even moved to Seattle! It was everything and more. Must try: savory crawfish shrimp beignets!! For my entree, I had the shrimp pasta dish and dessert I had the bourbon ice cream with beignets. Literally one of the the best, consistent whole meal from start to finish I've had in a long time!
John Wong
Went to Toulouse Petit, a Creole-Cajun hot spot in the lower Queen Anne neighbourhood for brunch; this place was absolutely packed with a cool, hipster vibe. The beignets were dusted in powered sugar with a chicory caffeine anglaise was a perfect prelude to the savoury dishes to follow. I ordered the fried oysters and bacon eggs Benedict, which was heavenly. The oysters were nicely fried with a light, crispy corn meal crust. The eggs were perfectly poached with just the right amount of hollandaise sauce. This along with several carafes of French press made it a very satisfying and memorable brunch. Highly recommend this spot if you have not tried it.

Can't find better Creole food unless you go to New Orleans. LOVED my Lucy Shrimp, Crawfish and Andouille over Grits. The Patagonian Prawns with Shallot Paste and Red Basil was incredibly tasty, just wish the prawns were bigger. The beignets were good, but nothing beats the beignets in New Orleans! Overall it was incredibly tasty and we will come again.
Vicky Tran
Oysters and cremebrulee are amazing
Service was 10/10
The wagu beef and lamb for the price point was okay, wasn’t over the top special
Sean McHugh
First time visiting Seattle and we decided to try Toulouse Petit for dinner. If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. There is no doubt this is one of, if not the best, restaurants in all of Seattle. The vibes were immaculate. The service was incredibly welcoming. They even sat us about 30 minutes earlier than our reservation as we were a little early because we had a late reservation. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. She walked us through the whole menu, which is huge, and her recommendations were on point. All of the food was incredible. The steaks were perfectly cooked. The pastas were amazing. The clams were an amazing appetizer. Every single course was better than the last. Two thumbs way up. 10 stars. If we ever come back to Seattle again to visit we will be going to dinner here again.
Robert Herron
First time here. On a Queen Anne neighborhood street corner. An upscale Louisiana Creole bistro with large menu. Nice setting. So many wonderful choices and reasonable prices. My wife and I had amazing dishes. Can't wait to come back and eat our way through the menu. Wish I had found this place sooner!
Lauren Grossman
My new favorite brunch spot in town! Really beautiful setting and extensive menu with French, Acadian, and Cajun inspired dishes. They also have a breakfast happy hour which is worth taking advantage of.
We got two of the eggs benedict and highly recommend the Acadian Benedict.
Kyeongan “Karl” Kwon
Dungeness crab lunch pasta was yummy. French press coffee was also great but the beignet was so-so.
Chris Osterhout
The menu has TONs of great variations on base dishes including gnocchi, pasta, seafood, creole classics and amazing appetizers. Do not miss out on the fried green tomatoes or the banana cream pie!
Shauna
I enjoyed the atmosphere. I had a very delicious Tequila Mule. Not just 1 but 2. The Jambalaya was spicy but yummy. I also enjoyed the Buttermilk half Fried chicken. I do wish the chicken was a little larger. It looked less than a half a chicken. Mashed potatoes was delicious as well. Complemented well with the crispy chicken.
Jaella Levien
Got lucky and was seated immediately with a party of 3 on a busy Friday! The lamb sausage charcuterie plate was a bit cold, but the rest of the food was amazing and the service was quick and staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was excellent! Real candles at all tables and on the walls, and everything is gorgeous rustic wood. Our server made sure we made it to the game on time, and had readily available options for the young child in our party. Very pricey- but not overpriced for what you're getting.
Jessica S
The scramble was very delicious, especially with the hot sauce. What made it not five star worth was that the service was mediocre for such a popular restaurant and the beignets/drink weren’t worth the price.
Paul You
What a menu!! Overwhelming at first, but if you have a group, it’s nice to share a bunch of dishes so you can try everything. I was thoroughly impressed with every dish here, the blackened pacific longline rockfish and creole gulf prawns, Tasso, and red basil linguine were my faves. Not much of a cocktail guy either, but the drinks here were bomb! And the ambience is so nice here, has a combo of rustic, modern, and cozy. One of my fav Seattle food stops!
Jessica
It has an interesting vibe and I think if we do go again I’d like to try their beignets. Our waitress was extremely nice and welcoming. Always made sure we had water which was lovely. However we arrived at the time of our reservation but ended up having to wait 10-20 minutes. Which I understand because it’s a popular restaurant. I went with friends and no one really loved their order. We really enjoyed the bread - the salty butter was so good! But I think we ordered … moral mushrooms, English peas, and garlic sausage pasta (which I thought was decent but was slightly overpriced). Duck with the Brussels sprouts (I didn’t try it but my friend wasn’t impressed, but it looked pretty). The creole jumbo prawns and house made Tasso linguini (decent but not impressive). Frenched bone in rib-eye (had a burnt taste but had a nice melty texture on the inside. Mashed potatoes were super good though). And the scallops. Scallops were the prettiest presentation but had the least amount of flavor. Overall interesting experience but not impressive and a little overpriced for our taste.
J Rhind
I only had a few tapas and drinks during happy hour so may not be a good judge on the food but the ambiance is terrific and you can tell the service staff love their jobs (or they’re really good at pretending). A fun, friendly group with the best service I’ve had since Covid. You can evaluate the level of service and care a place has by how well they treat solo guests…especially women and I felt very comfortable (not stuck in a corner and ignored like 2/3 of the time or told to sit at the bar). The food I had was wonderful. I spent $60 with tip so it’s not a cheap place to eat but it’s worth it.
Julie Mireau
Jambalaya and Bibb side salad were very good! FYI, the kitchen closes at 3 between lunch and dinner. They accommodated me right at 2:55 - thanks!
Olivia M
Great place for a delicious breakfast. They do happy hour breakfast from 10-11am Monday to Friday which is a really good deal! Would recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy for this on a Friday. The crab benedict was really good with lots of crab and the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice was really good.
Ryan Watts
An elevated dining experience without the pretension. Dark and cozy atmosphere with an expansive menu of both familiar and unfamiliar creole and French favorites. Make this stop
Patrick Orr
Great when ordering in house. Not recommended for to-go orders. Bread extremely soggy when arrived for the BLTA, fries need to be redone in the toaster oven to get crispy again. Not sure why there was so much moisture. The French onion soup was good!
Anh Ng
The food was good. Cozy interior design. The service was nice. But it was very loud.
Steven Mohler
We arrived at opening time on a Wednesday morning. The barbecued shrimp and grits breakfast was good. The biscuits and gravy were okay. Service was quick. The beignets were tasty.
Ruby K
Great vibe, super friendly and attending staff. Love the various food/drink selections and overall super tasty, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend and do get a window seat :)
Slightly pricer and very very busy, not a laid back brunch place to sit and enjoy for a long time. However the tasty unique menu food, awesome staff and unique deco make it a place worth trying out
Photo 1: Beignets, crispy outside soft fluffy inside. Coffee sauce was really good and adds a nice balance
Tammra Skagen
This place is all around so good. The staff is nice, the atmosphere is fun, the food is DELICIOUS. Highly recommend.
Jennifer Cleary
Amazing happy hour deals! Great food and great wine! Great local company, great service, great atmosphere! Everything was just... GREAT!
CC
Been here a few times. The menu is insanely extensive kind of to a worrying degree….anyway, I like the ambiance with the lit candles in the evening . The food honestly taste wise is average , they don’t season very well, they kind of season lightly which is odd. Presentation is nice but execution of flavor just is always lacking . I’ve been there about four times now. I have yet to try a sweet brunch so maybe that’s better
Grant Garbach
I really really REALLY wanted to like this place. The food was good, but not up to what I had hoped. This town seems to really like over cooked halibut, or I just had bad luck two times in a row (maybe I should go buy a lotto ticket!).
Gumbo was tasty, Cajun shrimp were solid and not too spicy. My main dish didn’t wow me, and the sauce after a few bites dominated the flavor of the fish.
My cocktails were strong but the flavor wasn’t spot on, lot of smoke forward flavor if that is your gig for signature cocktails.
Green olives were really good.
Value for the money wasn’t there for me, however, would I try it again? I’d give it one more shot, I really want to like this place.
I liked the atmosphere and I liked all the menu choices. If I came back I’d try the kurobuta pork chop!
t tajallibakhsh
I loved the mussels, so yummy and huge sizes. The other two dishes (salad with chicken and fish) were really great too.
Sam Askenas
Beignets were great. The charcuterie eggs benedict was good but the shrimp and andouille sausage was better. Potatoes came with well-done onions and were great. Ask for the eggs underdone!
Lisa Pisciotta-Nealon
We had an amazing dinner here! Eli was one of the best waiters I’ve had in a very long time, he was so patience with us, went over the entire menu as well as making some very good suggestions on food items and wine! We will definitely be coming back whenever in Seattle and will be recommending to anyone we know who’s coming for a visit! The food, wine and atmosphere was exceptional! One of the best dinners I’ve had in awhile!
Aidan Cusa
Very good food as well as interior design, the staff were very nice and their music taste was a little too based
Louie Amurao
Food was delicious, but it's on the pricey side! Very friendly and attentive staff (A+)!
Mikayla Jones
I just want to say, Caroline the waitress, specifically was one of the best examples of customer service I/we have ever experienced a deserves 5 stars. Our table was more than satisfied. We keep talking of how we would just go back just for her customer service because she was so kind and respectful, quick, and on point with our food!
The place is warm and soft, very welcoming.
The bartender, -didn't get his name- made one Hell of a spicy bloodmargaritas!
Vasily Kovzun
The best of the best which Seattle has to offer!
I've always been a fan. The first nice restaurant I was introduced to and the first place I had a Caipirinha; it holds a special place in my life maintaining the positive rock I use to celebrate wins.
Now a more casual destination for me since it's used for date nights, I make it a regular in my rotation of local spots.
We started with the salted butter and bread. Delicious.
We then ordered the fried greens with crab ravigote and the yellow beet salad. Delicious.
Followed with the scallops and the rib eye steak. Amazing.
Closing with the bread pudding and salted caramel ice cream. Moorish.
The menu is vast and everything has been amazing. I have ordered most and fallen in love with each.
I came here today and have another reservation in 11 days.
You should too.
Thang Phu
I find the food very well seasoned and tastes delicious. I have been here both for lunch and dinner and both times I had a wonderful experience with the staffs. One person did not like the adventurous food they ordered and the staff took it back and took it off our bill.
The picture from left to right features a Seafood bouillabaisse with scallops, prawn, rockfish and manila clams, Gumbo, Half chicken with mushrooms, onion soup.
Dara Jolly
New Orleans fair from an extensive menu. We had the cheese starter with prosciutto and olives... lovely. They handled our 7 person party well and the service was outstanding. Everything on the table was good but the lamb sausage pasta was outstanding. The banana cream pie was amazing. Not to be missed.
Elaine Lee
Food came out quickly. Drinks also were made quickly. The Paloma was refreshing and the sazerac was pretty spot on. The beignets came first. I thought the flavor of the sauce was a great coffee taste but a little runny. We had the shrimp and grits and the bayou fisherman’s breakfast. Between the two I’d prefer the bayou which had a broth that was spicier with some citrus. The fish pieces were cooked well and large.
Riddhi Kotian
The ambience, staff and FOOD everything here is so good. Parking can be painful but this place is worth it. Of you are a seafood lover, then this place a must try for sure. it can be super crowded and wait time could be crazy over the weekend. You can book a table online too. The desserts are amazing too.
Deejay C
This place is always a hit. Every single time we come here the service is always exceptional and the food is top notch!
We had the creole linguine with jumbo prawns, blackened st helens rib eye, jambalaya, seafood creole among many other things.
Every single one was yummy. Definitely a must visit when in Seattle.
Parking can be tricky at times.
Julian Valdespino
Great food unique atmosphere and ambiance. Best scallops ever and best sliders ever and BBQ shrimp new Orleans was amazing.
Brandon Hunt
My wife and I came in here for an early dinner before our work Christmas party, and I was impressed! I ordered the gumbo and it was delicious! My wife ordered the butternut squash gnocchi, and we both shared a bowl of the French onion soup. Both of them were amazing! We will definitely be back to explore the MASSIVE menu and fill our belly!
The10thLevel
Amazing breakfast if you are in the area. Get there early because it fills up fast after opening. Love the overall vibe; only complaint is there were quite a few flies flying around close to the window seats, probably because of the lack of air circulation due to it being winter and no AC is on, but it's the only small issue of an otherwise amazing dining experience.
Aitor Llop
Food was great! Flavourful and good. Plenty of things to choose from (honestly, the menu is a bit overwhelming). Our waitress was super helpful though and helped us choose the appropriate quantity and had some suggestions for us. We told her we would be sharing everything and the brought everything in individual portions for us, very convenient.
Melissa Monahan
Not quite as good as what I expected. We went for brunch at 11:30 am and they did not have any coffee or tea as their water machine was broken? Not sure why a full kitchen would not be able to provide boiled water for tea. I had the Acadiana scrambled eggs which was good but not great. The potatoes you could tell were cooked previously and just reheated. Service was not great either. Our water glasses were empty for quite some time and our server walked by several times looking at our table but never asked if we needed anything, even when I was trying to make eye contact with her every time she walked by. She finally came by with a small carafe of water which filled one glass and half but there were six of us. I was overcharged but she quickly corrected the mistake. It's also fairly loud in there. Not super impressed.
Grace Deal
Great vibe, we met some friends at a booth near the back and everything was wonderful- definitely get the beignets! We got mussels & frites, the brussel sprouts & gnocchi: loved all of it! We were walking around the city, so not sure what the parking would be like- but it's a quick <15min walk from the needle metro line.
Vahagn Yeranossian
They have some great food, but mostly if you order seafood. Unfortunately I had some overcooked chicken there. Their beignets are really good though. Service was a bit inconsistent, but that was Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is great though, i love their aesthetic.
Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for Creole food in Seattle.

Another favorite added to our weekend brunch spots in Seattle! A friend got a reservation for us here and I was really excited to check this out and went with high expectations. Absobloominglutely loved their biscuits and gravy! I think it was the first time I properly tried this southern dish after coming to US and man I wasn't disappointed at all.
Oh and definitely get those mimosas! I think I can happily convert to a regular mimosa drinker for brunch now and not feel guilty about it xD
There were five of us and everyone seemed happy after the brunch(maybe it was the mimosa?)
The French toast looked very scrumptious and everyone wanted a bite :)
Awesome service and a wonderful culinary experience!
Rogerio Panigassi
Great service, great food! I had a stake with fries that I can easily add to my top 10 tastiest list.
The waiters are super friendly and attentive to the important details such as asking for food allergies before taking the orders and advising on ingredients to help folks with food restrictions to avoid surprises.
Lee Bands
Food was so good! Service was great! The beignets were so fluffy and sweet, the bananas pancakes were just as good and the shrimp Creole and eggs over red mill grits was so good I wanted more! There is always a line but well worth it! I want to try everything on this menu! Can’t wait to go back!
Gina Miller
Wonderful food, ambiance, and bar staff- just make sure if you’re going for happy hour you get seated IN THE BAR. I even had a happy hour note written in my reservation and the host guy still seated me in the dining room for full price at 4pm- jeez.
Desirea Navarro
Love the ambiance of this restaurant, met a friend here for lunch.
Ordered “The Lucy” shrimp and grits. Also started with some beignets, everything was delicate and delicious. Love that they offer French press!
Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed this place. We made a reservation for 4 and got seated within 5 minutes. We came for brunch and I appreciated this spot because it's different than your typical brunch spot, given that it has a Cajun spin on it. The menu is pretty dense front back. I liked all the options, it I did have to look on google and yelp to understand the dishes, so I think the servers could augment the experience with some suggestions of popular dishes or personal favorites. I ordered the Lucy but I didn't get eggs on mine, and my friend ordered the same thing but from the back of the menu and hers came with eggs. I really liked the Lucy. It was a nice blend of creamy and spicy, with a hint of vinegar that tied everything together. If you're looking for a fun brunch spot, definitely check this one out. It was awesome!

Tasty food. Fast service. Walked in without a reservation at a busy time and got seated in about 5 minutes. My server (name on the receipt is 'Caroline2'? I forgot to ask) was helpful and attentive. I had the Acadiana Scramble and french toast and the french toast was a great deal more substantial than I was expecting.

I went with hubby who wanted to try this place for the longest. Their ambience was perfect for warm cozy evening. Being vegetarian I didn’t get many options but I whatever little I had was delish. Hubby was happy with his food. Desserts were amazing.

After reading all the great reviews, I was so stoked to finally try this place out. I had high expectations for this place but was slightly disappointed after. Perhaps it was an off-day or maybe we caught them during change in shifts 🤷🏻♀️. The hostess was nice and seated us right away upon arriving. But the table we sat in was completely lopsided and things would roll down. It was bolted to the floor so it couldn’t be adjusted… The booth seats also had ripped upholstery and very worn. Not sure if that’s on purpose given the theme of the whole place 😅. I should have asked for a different table but I thought maybe the food would make up for it. But it ended up being just ok. Our server was very nice and attentive too.

Had a wonderful breakfast here. Kind staff! Great ambiance and social distancing. I had two cocktails: the Florentine Brunch Cocktail and the Storm Spritzer and both were fantastic. I also loved the beignets. I had the Toulouse Breakfast Sandwich.

The food and service are worth the wait if you don't have a reservation. But please! Get yourself a reservation. Wonderful seafood and meat selections. Easy to find vegetarian or vegan choices as well. I recommend the tuna tartare for small plate or appetizer. The Bolognese was delicious! If you like halibut they have a wonderful dish with pistachios. We had the banana cream pie for dessert. I could have eaten it and died with no regrets.

My husband was craving a muffaletta so he searched on Google for one nearby since we were visiting Seattle for a couple days. When we arrived and looked on the menu we didn't see it on there so we asked the server....apparently they only serve it during lunch. My husband was a bit disappointed....that is until the server came back and informed him that they could make one for him. That was very nice of her and we truly appreciated it. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great service. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the fried green tomatoes didn't have much flavor to them. They needed quite a bit of salt and probably should be served with a bit more sauce too. The beignets with ice cream were amazing.

This is an amazing place and we always make it a priority to eat here when we come to Seattle. We will definitely be back. I was very VERY sad that they didn't have pecan pie this time but my alternate dessert was still fantastic!

The space is beautiful. The steak and eggs was delicious but my partner wasn’t impressed as the burger was just ok. I loved it and will definitely be back to try lots of other dishes!

Wasn’t super sure about this place at first, but went based on the reviews. I was not disappointed at all! A very unique place to eat, all the dishes have their own flavor that you won’t find anywhere else. I came here for breakfast, will be coming back for dinner and lunch as well. The servers were top notch here the day I was in, this really sets a place off for me personally and they nailed it.

Huge Menu! Struggling with deciding what to order because they all look so good. I couldn’t decide whether I want fried chicken or seafood dish, so we ended ordering fried chicken on the side to share, which was super fresh and crispy. The seafood dish is great, would be better if it comes with dipping bread, the sauce is kind of heavy eating just by itself. Will come back in the future to try different dishes.

Decided to try this spot out after seeing how many reviews the spot has. We came on a weekday afternoon to get some brunch. The place was very nice they were a little understaffed so we understand that they seemed rushed with our orders, etc. The food came out pretty soon after and looked amazing. The Benedict was pretty good, it was very flavorful and delicious. The potatoes on the other hand were average and a little warm rather than hot. Anyways the egg was one of the best parts along with the sauce. Now the beignets on the other hand were okay, definitely tasted like any other beignets I’ve had however I do got to give it a plus for the sauce which was pretty unique. Overall it was a great experience, I will definitely come back to try either lunch or dinner menu.

There's a reason weekend reservations are hard to come by. We've been here for both brunch and dinner. The brunch is among the best I've had. Their steaks would rank with some of the NYC steakhouses I've been to.
Anyone rating Toulouse Petit less than 5 stars is wrong. It's not a matter of opinion. They are just mistaken.
Joshua Yoon
If you want a slice of Cajun heaven, make sure to grab a hold of your buttcheeks and head on over here in a jiffy. You won't want to miss any of their dishes
Henry Kha
Great Creole spot with great ambience for dinner. The food is great and the menu is extensive. Staff are friendly and have good recommendations. It does get really busy and parking in the area can be hard to find.

Toulouse was the best Brunch I have ever had, no contest. I can't get over the taste of their almond butter. Everything we ordered was to die for. We live all the way across the country but if we lived closer, we would be there every week.
Alexander Mayton
Best dining experience in Seattle for the money. We've had the absolute best service at every visit and the food meets or exceeds our expectations. I would eat every meal here if I could.
Alex Titus
Delicious food and cocktails with great service from the staff. The 1000+ lit votive candles on the walls make a romantic and cozy atmosphere. A little expensive.
Grace Buckingham
A little on the loud side. Music and voices echo- we had to yell a bit. I'd come here maybe twice a year. Food was okay, moderate priced. Come for desserts, better deal. Cute atmosphere. Street parking only. Make a reservation for sure.
-Starter: Dungeness Crab in Tarragon-Chives Ravigote over Fried Green Tomatoes
-Entrées: Okanogan RR Ranch Center Cut Filet Mignon and Jambalaya with prawns and chicken
-Dessert: Toulouse Buttermilk Beignets and bourbon ice cream

Enjoyed the ambience, great service & their selection of food. Though the menu can be overwhelming.
Had one of pasta dishes which turned slightly disappointing, but the boozy dessert with beignets partially made up for lackluster dish.
Juliette Hecker
I ordered the shrimp and grits. Although the flavor of the shrimp was good, the grits were like soup.
I have never had grits like that. It ruined the dish for me. The ambiance is great.

The BEST restaurant in Seattle. The food was absolutely amazing! So tasteful!! Completely delicious. I loved the flavors so much I ended up over eating. I couldn't stop taking bite after bite after bite. Everything had so much flavor! The atmosphere was great as well. It's a real lively restaurant there's a lot going on at once, and it's packed and quite loud around noon. Really fun when you're drinking. The decor and architecture is straight out of the French Quarter! I commend this place for their efforts to bring New Orleans to Seattle; they've definitely succeeded! The menu has a great selection and the kitchen is very accommodating in terms of requests. The staff are really friendly! I recommend this place to anyone, tourists and seattlites alike! If you're in the neighborhood, you NEED to check out this restaurant!
Margaret Rijkelijkhuizen
Loved it. Food exquisite. But as a European, and an older one at that, I do not understand why you serve desert with a soup spoon. What happened to dessert silverware? :-)
Julie Chen
my friend and I went for the happy hour on a friday and it wasn't too crowded. we ordered the oyster salad, crawfish beignets, mussels, seafood jumbo and shared the bread pudding at the end. the mussels were the star of the show -- they were the softest mussels I've ever had! came second was the oyster salad which had potatos and bacon as well. we each also had a non-alcoholic mocktail. the mocktails weren't memorable but I'm glad they offer non-alcoholic options.
would definitely like to come back to try other stuff on their extensive menu!
saish pai
Delicious food, nice ambience with good cocktail options. The deserts didn't meet my expectations (Creme Brule trio was sold out so couldn't try it). It may take sometime for the food to come in, so would recommend ordering up front and sipping on cocktails while you wait. It's a busy restaurant, reservations recommended.
I tried:
1 - Craw fish Beignets
2 - Shrimp and grits (Most ordered in the restaurant)
3 - Halibut with spring Asparagus and pistachios (Recommend)
4 - D'Anjou Pear - Walnut Bread Pudding
5 - Toulouse Banana Foster

I've been here a couple times now. The first two times I came here was for dinner. We got some Cajun/creole dishes and we were not that impressed by any of them.
Finally came here again for brunch when some friends came to visit Seattle and wanted to come here. Again, the Cajun/Creole dishes were still just okay. BUT!!! We're so impressed by the brunch food!
Their Benedicts are super good! The English muffin so soft, the toppings were well seasoned, and the hollandaise sauce was just on point! The potatoes were actually really good as they were really crispy, but it was just too much food for me. The second time I got their Benedict, I sub the potatoes with Arugula salad instead. The arugula salad was really good as well! Just the right amount of dressing.
I also really like the creme caramel french toast and the coffee anglaise that comes with the beignets. The beignet itself was pretty good but not exceptional
Lex Nguyen
Very nice restaurant in general! There are many group tables here so the noise will be a bit too much for some of you. Beautiful lights on the wall.
My waiter messed up our orders but made up for it TWICE, so he still got his 20%+ tip. And we left the restaurant happy.
The oysters, fresh and baked, are delightful. The prawn with grit is amazing. Fantastic banana cream pie dessert. Would go back!
Mary Hornsby
Good food and service, but very busy. We (along with several other people) had reservations, but we had to wait more than half an hour after the reservation time to get seated. Part of our group has to wait outside because there wasn't enough room inside.
Matthew Medina
A Mid-Southern gem set in the Pacific Northwest, Toulouse Petit has one of the most comprehensive menus filled with both classic Creole dishes as well as Cajun spins on some NW favorites. I had Jambalaya which is legit "da bomb", and they aren't kidding about it being unapologetically spicy (though I wouldn't say it's so hot as to be off-putting to those averse to spicy food). My fiancé had the Meatloaf and we can both say, for a dish so often maligned as boring and trite, Toulouse's version is anything but. Bring your appetite with that dish. Lastly, we had the Valrhona Brownie Sundae which was a perfectly sinful way to end a delicious meal. Delicious brownie, topped with fresh whipped cream, three scoops of ice cream, brulee bananas (hand crafted by the gods of desserts) and candied pecans... Decked with sides of caramel and chocolate sauce for drizzling... Let's just say we were glad we put some extra time in at the gym that morning. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and prompt service (we got our food in 15 minutes even on a busy night) make this restaurant worth a return visit.
Jon Schulman
Always a treat, with a lively atmosphere almost any day of the week, or time of the day. The menu is, frankly, overwhelming - but it feels hard to hold that against the restaurant. No matter what you get, make sure you end your visit with beignets ← the best you'll find this side of Café Du Monde!
Justin gonzales
The food here is absolutely terrible. The scene is wonderful the service was ok. I took my family here we spent roughly $400 we tries 4 entrees 2 apps and a few drinks. It was unanimous never again.
Marianne Villamea
The place is so pretty and the lighted tealights on the wall added cozy feel to it. Food is also good but a bit pricey. Servers are polite and attentive. They all wear masks and everyone practiced social distancing.
Trina Wilcox
Love the interior however it changed into a touch darkish. It is funny to peer people the use of their telephone's flash mild to certainly study the menu. Food became now not phenomenal but appropriate. Can't wait until the following time I can come returned. Definitely trying the dessert beignets and seafood scrambles.
Sai Lo
We found this place recommended on both Google and Yelp and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The food was amazing and an explosion of taste in every bite. Great breakfast/lunch place. I got the grilled skirt steak and my wife got the Dungeness Crab with Egg Benedict. You will not be disappointed here.
M Shelton
Always delicious! No wait right at 11am when lunch started. Definitely can taste the quality and love in each plate.
Karma Swislow
Only reason I did not give 5⭐'s all the way thru was it was very load and had to carry conversations across table with the rest of my party.
But EVERYTHING ELSE WAS WOW!👍👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁 Lived in southern Louisiana for 8 years and the taste is authentic and incredible. Bloody marys need some work( they should reference Franks bloody Marys from the outskirts of New Orleans).
Sabrina Mohd Nordin
This place brought me back to NOLA! I went for breakfast during weekday and was seated right away. The crab & shrimp egg benedict & beignets my friends and I ordered were delicious and the prices are reasonable for the portion of food (there’s happy hour deal too). Service was prompt and friendly, and the vibe was nice. Highly recommended and will surely come back again.
Diana Seaders
My husband and I came for breakfast on Sunday and had a wonderful experience. Service was excellent and the food delicious- I’m still thinking about the beignets!! That is a must order! Benedicts were out of this world. The creole Bloody Mary was best I’ve ever had, hubby had mimosa with fresh squeezed orange juice ....omg....we are definitely coming back. Vibe was super cool as well. Tip - make reservations! Thank you for such a great experience!
Michael Burke
We stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday night and were immediately seated at a table in the bar area. We ordered some signature cocktails, cauliflower soup, mussels, gumbo, and the king salmon with chanterelles and corn. Everything was great, and the standouts were the broth with the mussels and the salmon. The gumbo was great too, but then portion size was huge. We took plenty home and still didn't have room for dessert, though there were lots of great looking options. Only complaint would be that service was not the most attentive, but I would definitely still recommend.
Ian Oates
Cocktails were solid, Vieux Carre being the highlight (4.5/5); French 75 was okay (3/5) and Sazeracs were quite good (4/5). Food varied from average to disappointing. Cataln-style prawns were okay (2.5/5), saffron manilla clams were solid (3.5/5), but not universally loved by the table. Seafood gumbo was shameful(1/5). Thin, poorly cooked, borderline flavorless. We had another pâté-style dish that was quite nice, but the name escapes me (3.5/5). Cocktails carried the evening. We might be back for a drink, but will skip the food.
Tanay Dutt
Excellent food and excellent service for a reasonable price and minimal wait for Sunday brunch. It was a 15 minute wait for our table, once seated, service was very fast and the food was out within another 15 minutes. The Bayou Fisherman's Breakfast is a must try, along with the Dungeness crab eggs benedict and the freshest French toast (!) I've ever had. The Creole Bloody Mary's were also deliciously spiced. Overall a great experience and definitely a place to go back to again and again.

I should probably preface that I used to visit friends and family in New Orleans every year for five years, so perhaps my view is biased. That said, I’ve heard plenty of friends rave about Toulouse Petit. My opinion? overrated and overpriced. I believe it’s missing some of the bold flavors I’m used to having. Moreover, the prices are pretty high for the portions. I went with two other friends and we got the jambalaya, gumbo, and a Benedict dish. All came highly recommended by our server, who was lovely and attentive! All in all, it’s a good place just not worth the rave and price.
Update: I returned to this place because a few friends really wanted to, and I must say that I had a better experience then my first! I think all in all, the overpriced food biased my review. I came in on a Monday evening, which has happy hour prices after 10 pm. I had tasty Brussel sprouts, fries, and fried chicken bites. Super delicious and not a bad price for all of it!
Larissa Tiara (ImSmelLikins)
The food and service was great. I had the fried chicken gumbo, which was delicious. My husband had the cajun meat loaf with potatoes. We shared the pomme fries as an appetizer. The ambience was fun and they had a whole wall dedicated to alcohol. The weird part was that the bathroom was located in the kitchen...
April L
We made a reservation. When we got there our table was ready. Restaurant was full and busy. Our service was great, food was quick and very good. Loved the atmosphere of the place.
T. Bolt
Excellent New Orleans style cuisine. Served in a cozy, dark wood, and old-school type environment. The food was excellent and the service was very good. The sign wasn’t easy to see. The restaurant is right on the corner of the block, so it’s easy to walk past.
Tony Yee
Awesome place to eat with a comfy feeling. The drinks were OK but not the highlight. We were craving seafood and this was a good place for that with fast and attentive service and great flavors you can get at an oyster bar. I think we would come back here again next time we are in Seattle
James WA
I came here in 2012 and found the place charming and the food flavorful and good. The tables and fixtures are colorful and remind me of a french small restaurant. The wall textures and painting reminds me of a plaster made of Apple Jax cereal. I chuckled to myself when I thought of it. The coffee is very good. French pressed individually for you. The Mid Bug coffee was delicious. The Beignets were crisp, fluffy on the inside and not greasy.
Ingot the chicken fried chicken. Wow!!! Loved it. The French toast is thick and and 10 times better than any breakfast restaurant.
I didn't realize that the place has such high rankings on Trip Advisor. #5 most popular in the nation, #10 in the world for their area.
Andy Ng
Beautiful restaurant, nice decor and ambience. Food is solid and on the whole delicious and well executed. Service however is spotty and inconsistent where all the food came out too quickly leaving us with a table full of entrees as we were midway through the appetizers. When asked for a wine selection, the server seemed unknowledgable about the menu.
Tim S
After dining here I felt like I had brunch in the south. Chicken fried chicken, ouuufff! Delicious. There are so many options I will be back to try. Some not too spicy so be adventurous and try something different. Service was amazing. Though it was a Saturday morning, we were sat right away and then it was really busy. So get there around 10 to 1030. I will be back for another amazing dining experience.

Look no further.
Food and service was asking. Fresh herbs and ingredients loved every bit of our meal. Fresh Onion soup was the best I've ever had..
Manuella J.
I got the shrimp pasta with the beignets.
OMG, best beignets ever! Blew the Cafe du monde beignets out of the water.
I had to go there to order though. They were not picking up the phone at all.
Alexis Bradley
Their food is excellent. This is likely the best brunch I've had in the Seattle area. Their French toast is 10/10 I recommend everyone get it. All their food had such amazing flavor, will definitley be back

Like a lot of reviews - excellent, delicious food, but subpar service. After we were seated we waited 40 minutes for service. I would understand if they were busy but this was earlier in the evening with many empty tables. Also feel sorry for anyone with bad eyesight - their menu font kind of sucks and is really hard to read. With how many items they have its a little intimidating...ive attached some menu photos but i cant gurantee their readability...i tried my best.
We ordered the gumbo and dungeness crab imperial. Jambalaya was okay despite reviews but the dungeness definitely lived up to the hype. Excellent, cheesy, and very delicious. Gumbo was also good. We also had the gnocchi which was very rich in taste and flavorful but the actual amount and size of the gnocchi were smaller than we expected.
Beignets weren't bad but we might have been overly hyped from previous reviews. Had better in San Francisco but im not sure how it compares to the rest of the Seattle area. They serve it with a bitter sweet coffee sauce which was okay and not nearly enough powdered sugar. Also had the bourbons ice cream which was really good and a definite highlight. I heard they sell out sometimes so order if you can.
Overall atmosphere is great with rustic tones and a creole feel with many lit candles everywhere.
RJ Rivera
The experience was ambient and the food delicious. We went for deserts and ordered the beignets late at night. The dough was made perfectly. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The coffee dipping sauce supplemented the dish perfectly. We left satisfied from the service and the late night snack.
Savannah Hyssong
Loved it! Incredible atmosphere and amazing service. Both meals were so delicious, as well as the brussels sprouts starter and bread pudding dessert!!

We stumbled upon this place after taking cool photos at Kerry Park. It was a pretty short walk and the reviews were really good. We came around 6pm on Tuesday and it was pretty crowded. We were seated immediately though. The booth was really nice as we fit comfortably, but more could definitely have fit. The ambiance and interior decor was really nice.
We ordered the crispy fried braised and cured bacon, braised pork shoulder and gnocchi, creole linguini, and creole andouille. The bacon (6 pieces) was good, definitely a good starter. The creole dishes were really good; they har enormous pieces of shrimp in them. It was a little spicy, but not too much to handle. For the gnocchi dish, our friend felt there was a lot of pork and not really gnocchi, but still said it tasted really good. We also ordered the beignets with bourbon ice cream. The beignets were actually pretty disappointing. There were 6 pieces, but only powdered sugar on the top two. The ice cream definitely saved it though.
I would definitely come back here and try their other menu items. It seems this place is popular for brunch too. We did notice there were a lot of people waiting when we left, so maybe come early.

I was excited to visit Toulouse Petit just on the menu alone. There were a few disappointments in this location and service- the outside of the building is nondescript, inside they have a disco ball which doesn't got the decor and the floor tiling needs major upgrades. The food was excellent but the waitresses we had was wearing a tight suit which was not appropriate attire for the service industry and she was a bit pushy about getting our order. The last thing I am concerned about is they have two full trays of glasses filled with water. It's like they can't be bothered to pour a fresh glass for the customer. Aside from those complaints I would go eat there due to the food.
Brad LM
This is an upscale restaurant with an adult atmosphere. Date night is great here. Staff treats you very well. Take your time here if you can. Drinks are great but don't forget dessert. The pecan pie is not the overly sweet processed kind, this is hand made greatness!
Zach Armitstead
Awesome creole and New Orleans staple dishes. Huge portions but not always something you want to share! Incredible whiskey selection. Not a place I would have expected to see Van Winkle 10 yr, Pappy 15 yr and Pappy 20 yr. Great atmosphere and the bar is great to sit by yourself and enjoy a meal.
adnan albeitawi
This is that place you promised you would take your lover to for date night. The ambiance is perfect for swooning the love of your life and convincing him/her that you're ballin' and have good taste. Toss in a couple of their delicious drinks and before you know it he/she will be loose as a goose 😏.
The food here was great, (the fried oysters are some of the best I've ever tried, anywhere.) the service was EXCELLENT, the portions are huge and the price is fair. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!
Avocado Black
Visited again on a Saturday morning. Ordered French press again, feels a bit overpriced-$10 for a large pot of shared coffee. However, the lamb burger is so unique and the best flavor of lamb meat I’ve ever had! Definitely will visit again.
Previous post-
Came here on a weekend noon. We ordered French press and beignet to share and I ordered jambalaya. As someone who’s been to NOLA, I liked the jambalaya a lot. The flavor is there and the meat was delicious and fresh. The beignet not so much, texture is only half as good as the one in cafe du monde.
The service was ok, it took forever for our coffee to be served. Overall recommend this place.
Nayeon Lee
Restaurant with lovely atmosphere - their candles make the whole restaurant look really romantic and pretty. Their food was amazing too. I liked their mushroom gnocchi and pork-dish recommended by the staff (don’t remember the name). Their pecan pie was delicious too! :) Will definitely visit again. Spent around 120USD for 3 ppl.
Holly Blaha
The food was good, but not Louisiana home cooked great. I was really disappointed that they didn't have red beans and rice or Cajun Boudin or anything down-home style cajun.
That said, the cajun meatloaf was good, though not particularly spicy. Their "unapologetically spicy" jambalaya was more bland and mild than I make at home.... not spicy at all.
My nephew had the Wild Boar Bolognese and said it was just ok. I wasn't impressed with the bites of it I had either. Not one I'd recommend, especially for the price.
The redeeming quality of this restaurant was the atmosphere, and desserts. The Banana cream pie was really good. Bananas foster was ok. My favorite was the Caramel Hazelnut Creme Brulee... sooo good! The other two flavors of brulee in the trio we got were unremarkable and the sugar on top was more burnt crisp than caramelized topping.
Spencer Klein
This place is awesome with a lot of variety! You'll need your reading glasses for the book of a menu you though. Don't think i had one thing i didn't like.
Edward Amartey-Tagoe
Great place to have brunch as a couple or in a group. It is very family friendly, they created extra space for some parents with kids. It gets very busy on weekends and we found no way to make a reservation online. You need to show up and add name on the list and wait inside or right outside if they are out of space.
Food didn’t take long to arrive after our order
J
I definitely give it 4 stars and I’ll tell you why...
The ambience is wonderful for a date night candlelit dinner.
-1 star because I thought the service was decent/good albeit slow because the restaurant was packed, though our waitress did forget some parts of our orders
Another reason I give it one less star is because I think the place needs a deep cleaning as it’s smelly when you first walk in. Obviously the smell subsides the longer you’re in there but no restaurant should be smelling. So those were the downsides.
We ordered the sliders, the fried chicken, oysters, shrimp, some drinks and found everything really tasty. The food and happy hour menu are extensive so you’ll definitely find something you like to eat.
Devyn Blackstone
Went for early happy hour and dinner. Large happy hour menu, ends at 6pm. Beers not on happy hour menu. Ordered the mushroom and oyster bruschetta and would not recommend this, I don’t think ours even had any oysters in it. Also had the crawfish and shrimp beignets (see picture) which was very good but a bit pricey, would order again. For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée (see picture) which was good and would order again. Overall the food was quite mediocre for an expensive price. Might go back again for happy hour but never for dinner. Lastly, they charge a wage service fee which was $7 added to my total, that was a bit frustrating.
Barry Super
Environment is great. Food is very disappointing. Fried chicken tastes like store sold frozen chicken. Shrimp doesn't seem tp be fresh at all. Jambalaya is nothing but spiced rice.
Albert Madariaga
Outstanding fare and service. Beautiful restaurant but gets really loud when busy.
I've yet to have a dish that I wasn't thoroughly pleased with.
fitolit
Superb food and romantic atmosphere. Remembered a little bit of my French....happy hour options are the best, and they have very quick service!
Aida Orozco
Omg! Delicious food, drinks and great staff. Can't wait to go back and try more of the food! Three days left to visit Seattle and returning here is a must! Pan seared Halibut with pistachios had the most delicious sauce. We also tried the meatloaf dish with andouille and mashed potatoes had a wonderful flavor. Nothing boring here!!
David Mason
Didn’t expect to find good Cajun food here in Seattle! Love the fried oyster Benedict and the French Toast. Atmosphere is pretty laid back, the service was great. Just wish it wasn’t so pricey. The gumbo was just okay.
Mikayla Whitley
Great brunch location, service was fantastic and something on the menu for everyone. The crab Benedict did not disappoint on the amount of crab and was delicious @little_lady_big_bites
Sally L.
Was in Seattle for work/vacation so tried this restaurant based on the great reviews. We went 3 times during the week during their breakfast happy hour from 9-11am bc many breakfast entrees are cheaper at this time. 2 of the 3 times, the food was delicious. One of the days we sent it back but the manager apologized. The eggs Benedict on the biscuit with crabmeat was delicious and so was my husband's skirt steak and the French toast was also delicious! My husband thought the fisherman's skillet dish was ok. The restaurant itself is also nice.
Terry
I had the shrimp etouffee it was amazing best shrimp and grits in the world the customer service was above and beyond the waitress was really nice attentive and friendly the atmosphere of course you know it's in Queen Anne you know we're working to ask for the space Needle good walking areas it's wonderful it's wonderful I had the greatest experience ever it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in my life
Sean Patchen
My wife and I have been here a few times for breakfast and always loved it. This was our first happy hour and I can say they deserve the recognition for one of the best happy hours in America. Great food, decent prices, and perfect ambiance.
Christie McCowen
I came here while on a family vacation and I was so glad I stumbled on Toulouse Petit while searching Google Maps for a place to eat! The atmosphere was amazing. I was stunned that there were 250 candles (real, not battery) flickering around the entire room.
Their menu was extensive--so many options to choose from! And the food was delicious. Between the four of us there we tried all three soups on the menu, each perfect, and four different entrees--all fantastic. I highly recommend the cauliflower and crab soup as well as any of the steaks, halibut or the Jambalaya!
The best part of the evening though was the manager's handling of my food allergies. The chef was not only made aware, but the manager also took the extra steps to go through the recipe book to triple check everything in all of the sauces to make sure that I could have a safe meal. It was wonderful to have someone care so much about my safety. Thank you Toulouse Petit!!!

Star rating is based on the food only.
Really enjoyed the brunch here. We ordered 3 different dishes and all 3 are delicious. Rich in flavor.
Pro: great food, attentive staffs, good atmosphere

I loved this place. It has a great ambience. Perfect for romantic dates. The food is just as great. We ordered Shrimp 🍤 and chicken jambalya, and some gumbo. All dishes were very delicious. Cocktail 🍸🍹 collection is good too. …

Food was superb. Service was great as well. Breakfast happy hour is the best thing since sliced bread. We had the eggs benny with crab and it was a absolutely fantastic dish. Highly recommended!
Anita Asphy
Its always a pleasure and a treat eating here, 1 of my favorite dishes is the Caramel French Toast 😋
I've never had a bad experience and the food is to die for..
DELICIOUS 😋 …
Robert Kim
Great service, ambiance, and Prie Fixe menu. Highly recommend
Seafood Gumbo - wonderfully balanced and delicious. Rice was a little undercooked and shrimp a little over, but otherwise fantastic and it didn't get in the way
Tuna & Cucumber Tartare - mostly cucumber and not enough tuna. Also the horshradish was a little too strong, putting the truffle in the backseat.
King Salmon - delicious cooked rare and on a bed of flavorful mushroom medley with a robust sauce.
Can't wait to come here again and try more items!
Manpreet Sandhu
Extensive happy hour menu!
Tried the fried oysters, brussel sprouts with sriracha aioli, butternut squash flatbread and helix snails. All of it was amazing!
Gets busy around dinner so come early for happy hour.
Victoria Choi
All I can say is, I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often! If you are looking for a good brunch place, look no further! Go early if you dont want to wait in line for brunch. Our group of 8 got there around 9:30am and we were seated immediately. There is something for everyone on the menu. I had the crab Benedict and the eggs were poached perfectly and the crab serving was generous. Hubby had the Acadiana Benedict and he liked it more than my crab Benedict! We shared the caramel pecan French toast and it was the best French toast I've had!

Late night happy hour is convenient for after the theater. Food- good. Drinks- good. Ambience- nice. Service- extremely basic. Hospitality- nonexistent. The server couldn't be bothered to do any more than just the basics and could have sold us more drinks had she bothered to ever return to our table. She sure brought the check fast when we finished our food though! There was still at least an hour before closing, for reference. Oh well, that's $$ I got to keep in my pocket tonight.
Jonah Stowe
Yes. Do it. Go here. Why? Because it’s got bomb food, incredibly cool atmosphere, and it’s just an overall great experience. I got the scallops and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone else at the table all got different things and everyone left saying it was the best meal of the trip. Worth a try for sure.
Sam Tucker
The atmosphere of this place is great with the paned windows and tea lights all over the restaurant. I would say you need to be prepared to ponder the menu for a bit as there are quite a few choices (maybe too many) and directions to go. It's great to have a source of southern comfort this far north, and my meal was tasty! I had the blackened rockfish, and it was flavorful but arguably had some kind of processed cheese in the grits and was very heavy on cubes of bacon--not unlike the South however!! I'm usually wary of such long menus, but they do have some local proteins which reassure me that the menu is not entirely frozen.
Troy Couch
The food is excellent but we had a reservation and still had to wait half an hour to be seated then another hour for food.
Han San Lim
Sort of stumbled upon this place by chance, what a treat! The menu reads like one you will find in Louisiana... Po Boys, Gumbo, Jambalaya and the Beignet is to die for! Service was friendly and efficient. I ordered Gumbo, it was spicy with lots of seafood, it warmed my soul! The Oyster and Bacon Po Boy was very tasty too. And the Beignet, OMG!! It’s a must if you have a sweet tooth.
Brian Ferdman
Speaking as someone who spends a good amount of time eating amazing food in New Orleans, this restaurant is legit. You will find an impressive array of Creole and Cajun dishes, showcasing both originality and knowledge of the classics. With so much depth of flavor on every plate, your biggest challenge will be in deciding what to order. Good luck.
Neil Cullen
Visited during Happy Hour and very pleased with wide variety of selections. Fried Chicken Gumbo one of my favorites. Try the Manhattan, very tasty cocktail.
Luke L
Good food. Mediocre service. Terribad coffee.
Talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly. Let's start with the ugly.
Most brunch places serve mediocre drip coffee. I expected nothing more from Toulouse. However, they had a rather expensive French Press coffee, which we ordered ($10 for a piston). I hoped it would be at least better than drip, but it ended up being much, much worse. We took one gulp and got a mouthful of grounds. That's right. There were grounds in our coffee. And not just a few grinds either. It was like drinking high-pulp orange juice, except instead of chewy pulp, it was bitter crunchy coffee grounds. We asked the server to change it, and her attitude was... well, let's just go on to the bad.
Other reviews have also spoken about this place having rather poor service. Our experience was no exception. I understand that they were understaffed, but that's no reason for rudeness. I asked for eggs sunny side up and poached, and the server gave me a look that was both dispassionate and shocked. It's not easy to describe. But basically, she said "we are very busy, but that's okay." I asked what kind of eggs she'd prefer I order, but she insisted that it was fine, but still gave me a hard time. Strange. The same happened when we told her about the grinds in our coffee--deadpan disapproval.
The food was delicious, though. Gumbo was flavorful, oysters were fishy (not my favorite, but others seemed to like it), and the eggs benny were cooked to perfection. Would come here again, but maybe just for takeout next time. And I think I'll get coffee from the Starbucks around the corner.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The food tastes amazing and the service is so good! They treated me to a chocolate cake, which was a surprise to me! If I visit Seattle again, I will definitely go there again.
Alyssa Poletti
I had a great time here during happy hour! The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely.
Anna Davitadze
Super relaxing atmosphere and amazing food with flavors I’ve never had before. Our server was amazing and we got a few dishes that she recommended, which did not disappoint.
Judy Tran
This place is delicious and they have happy hour for breakfast that ends at 11am.
I highly recommend jambalaya and it is delicious. It is not cheap, average plate is $18-22 for lunch price.
Overall it is good. No complaints.
Morgan Pierce
We came here for my birthday and all I have to say is. This place is phenomenal. The service is absolutely stellar (60% tip kind of stellar), and they have some of the best food I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The fresh oysters are so so delicious. They're cold, creamy, and the cocktail sauce that they come with is truly addicting. Not even the slightest hint of fishy. The chocolate cake is so rich and yummy. Our server brought it out to me with a candle on it and everything, he was truly wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough. Please make a visit. I promise it will be worth it!!
Tony Rector
Good place to catch a bit and a good drink but don't stop drinking and socialize with friends for a few minutes or they will ask you to leave to give up a table even after spending 150.00's there. Other than that a good place.
Mark Tate
Such a great experience coming here! The food is consistently delicious, and I love how the menu changes throughout the year
Tony Kilt
It's been a long time since our last visit here, and my wife and I were in the mood for some nice steaks and went in for dinner today. She had the Bone In Rib Eye and I had the New York, each cooked to a fine medium rare. We shared a romaine Caesar salad and I had a nice Pinot Noir while she had a tasty and refreshing Pear Sidecar. The Caesar and steaks each were a bit more rich than ideal (a touch too much dressing, or butter and sauce when the salad and steak could have shined a touch better with a bit less on them) bit well prepared and tasty and overall a lovely dinner with great attentive service.
The dining was indoors and the staff all masked and we were masked while we weren't eating, and with the distance to our table near the door we felt fairly safe as vaccinated folks.
Jenny Van
Came here for breakfast happy hour just as they were opening on a Friday morning. The chicken in the chicken fried chicken dish was nothing special, but the biscuit and gravy were delicious. What really stood out was the caramel brioche french toast!! I'm not even a French toast / sweet breakfast person but this was sooo good. I would definitely come back and get this.
The French press coffee was also fantastic!! Though at $8 an order, which was enough for 2 people, a bit pricy. But still since it was bfast HH, friend and I left spending only around $20 each.
Nassuel
Went for SRW and loved it. Got the seafood gumbo, St. Helens Streak Frites and Buttermilk Beignets. Sooooo goood. Would definitely come back.
Lora McGraw
I stopped in here while on a business trip to Seattle. The atmosphere was very hip and enjoyable. The menu was expansive, and I appreciated all of the interesting mocktails they offered. The Peachy Keen was refreshing and tasty. My meal was good, but the star of the show was the chocolate torte! So tasty!
Susan Chen
I got the jambalaya and it was delicious! The prawns were juicy and the rice was well seasoned. The restaurant has a very warm and cozy ambiance, perfect for a fall evening! The service was also amazing, I will definitely be coming back :)
Kumar Abhishek
Chilled ambience, nice music and great food.
French toast was mouth watering. Pancakes were nice too.
Kathryn Angus
Over priced, over hyped. I don’t really typically write negative reviews but this restaurant did cost more than many much better places. And the food was ok, but not tremendous. My mom said it was the only disappointing beignet she had in her life
Mitch McCurry
Cute French place with good traditional French and New Orleans style cuisine. They have an extensive wine and liquor menu as well. The scallops were very good but I wish there were more!
Yuyu Rz
Speechless- that’s how great things were here. We had dinner and then jumped to the bar where we enjoyed everything!! Must go place. Food and drinks amazing!!
Hashtag Brownkatt
Nice spot, eclectic menu, great service, large portions good drinks and food!
Enrique Ugalde
Amazing food for a casual dining with friends or family. Great drinks!
Dasha Elgart
Great, healthy, diverse menu with affordable prices. Fun and groovy ambience in a bright, beautiful space.
French A.
Great seating options and a really cool atmosphere. The drinks are tasty, though a little pricey. And depending on what you order, the portions are a good size. As an oyster lover, their oysters are tasty but It wouldn't be my go to place for them. Either way, would definitely recommend as a hip spot to go to feel fancy for a night!
Topacio Medina
Amazing restaurant! I wish I had taken more photos. The wait wasn't too bad when we went for breakfast, but the line can get very long so it's best to get there early! Everything on the menu sounds appealing even if it gets pricey quick, but it's so worth it. The food was great. Customer service was friendly. Calm atmosphere even with how full it was. Next time I want to go for dinner.
Jenny Dieng
Had such a great experience and everything there was so good. The best beignets (not pictured) I’ve had in Seattle, if you have to get anything from here you gotta get the beignets.
Dominic Fezzie
I’ve been here multiple times since moving to Seattle and am blown away each time. I have only been for brunch so far, but every item I have tried is fantastic. The best time to go is during the week for their “happy hour” prices which can save you quite a bit of money. This is one of the go to places I take guests when they visit
Melody Maleitzke
Such an inviting and romantic, Louisiana inspired restaurant. I was thrilled with the Shrimp, house-made andouille sausage (on point) and crawfish with cheese grits. As Emeril would say "BAM!" on the spices in that dish. Perfect!!
My hubby enjoyed the Halibut too!
This is a definite recommend if you're hankering for a bit of NOLA in the PNW.
Chris Mack
Update: So I still like this place.
I went back and got the mud bug cafe, which is a boozy coffee for $9.50. It had fancy whipped cream and sprinkles and in a clear mug. Tasted great. I dreamed of it.
Two weeks later I came back specifically to get the same experience. Unfortunately it wasn't as magical and maybe it was just my imagination but it didn't taste the same and was not a drink worth $9.50. Left a bit disappointed!
LIANNE AMANNA
The ambiance is beautiful! Great service, good food and even better dessert.
Heather Rego
I need to come back sooner. This was amazing and a perfect vibe to my superbowl Sunday!
Ernie Sawyer
At first I thought they were a bit spendy, but the food and service were phenomenal. Also, the atmosphere is exactly what.you would hope for from a Cajun/Creole restaurant. Next time I am in Seattle, I will be back.
Ian Mortensen
I definitely spent a bit more than I usually do when I go out for brunch, BUT the food was amazing!! I forget the exact name of what I ordered, but pretty much a prawn/crab eggs benedict with potatoes. To die for! Service was quick and friendly. Loved the Zodiac themed table we sat at.
Don L
This is one of my favorite restaurants for tapas-style food, especially for happy hour and dinner. However, today I was there for lunch and absolutely loved the braised pork cheek "Rueben" sandwich and the French onion soup. The pork was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The onion soup was not too heavy, but had a good richness to the broth. Highly recommended!!
ROBERT Covington
I’ve had a total 5 dishes and they all were outstanding.
Vincent Randy Heslop
My favorite Cajun inspired restaurant in Seattle, there used to be a few. We especially enjoy their breakfast, although usually a bit of a wait, but any Great place will have that.

A great place for drinks! Awesome food and service too!

Toulouse is incredibly unique and delicious. The restaurant is shiek, yet comfortable. The menu was very unique and what I imagine a New Orleans-ish restaurant would be like. The flavors were incredible and the bloody marys were perfect!
Lauren Vaterlaus
I really love this place. It isn't a replacement for Pesos which I will always love even if it's gone. But the food and drinks are good, it has a great atmosphere and the staff is friendly.
Carmen Jackson
Fun and lively restaurant. Great salads and happy hour offerings. Reservations recommended or you may end up at the bar to eat if you're lucky, especially if there is an event happening at Seattle Center.
Joshua Feyen
Beautifully decorated, wonderful Creole/New Orleans theme and sumptuous menu made this a Sunday morning breakfast treat. I had a shrimp gumbo with grits, lightly seasoned and a fine portion. I asked for the eggs to be over easy and they were fried but hard cooked. Upon asking, the waitress returned, almost immediately (like, "how did she do that so fast?") with two perfectly cooked eggs.
Not five stars because the hot chocolate tasted and had the mouth feel of a commercial "Swiss Miss" type hot chocolate. I expected something a little further up the chocolate food chain.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Creole experience when not in Louisiana.
Diana Hsu Morris
Beautiful decor. Gets busy quickly but we were lucky to find a table in the bar. Amazingly it was a 4 seater and actually quite spacious for the 2 of us. Service was good. Ordered the jambalaya; very delicious, excellent spices. It was however quite salty.
April Lollar
I was in town for business and visited Toulouse Petit Kitchen & Lounge in May 2022. It was hands-down the best dining experience I have EVER had. I live about an hour outside of New Orleans so I was hesitant to eat at a New Orleans-inspired restaurant, but I am so glad I did. The food was amazing and the service from our waiter, Eli, was possibly even better. I have several food allergies and he never made me feel like it was a pain to work around them. He was attentive and made suggestions that hit home for everyone in our group. His suggestions and attention to detail made the best-tasting meal I've ever had the best dining experience I've ever had. If you are in Seattle, this is a must-do. And ask for Eli!
Alan Drake
Absolutely delicious, a great first impression. Recommended to me on a first date. I will be going back 600 more times to try everything on their menu.

Been here many times.
Best dishes: go for the Cajun/creole specialties. Really good French press coffee, "Creole Crawfish, Shrimp, and Andouille sausage" in the morning, Best pecan pie in the world.
Food quality/Consistency/Price: pretty much everything I've had here is excellent, but on the expensive end. Their morning happy hour helps with the price.
Wait/Atmosphere/Service/Location: it's a busy place for sure. Comfortable with dim lighting and candles, although it's more laid back and bright in the morning. Service is great. It's right in queen Anne ave so convenient but parking sometimes take a few rounds.
Michelle Young
3 courses for $35 was a steal of a deal. Fried chicken gumbo was great. Lamb bolognese was divine. Beignets for dessert. The coffee caramel dipping sauce was good but didn't really go. Left happy and very full. Tried a friend's rigatoni as well, but the bolognese is where it's at!
Fiona Garrett
The hostess was very accommodating to us, we had a flight to catch and were a little pressed for time. The po' boy sandwiches were lovely and the fries tasted amazing. The best part was dessert and honestly it was the best pecan pie I've had.
Pavel B
Fantastic place. Food, drinks, service ll top notch. Beautiful interior and comfy booths.
One slight annoyance that you can only have happy hour menu in one area of the restaurant and dinner menu in the other part. While happy hour drinks were good, we did not want happy hour food. But with dinner menu we could not have happy hour drinks... weird system
Wayne Chang
Reviewing for lunch. Had the crawfish beignets; nice flavor, wouldn't call it a beignet and more like a meatball. Also had the duck confit; slightly dry but otherwise ok.
Chris Kallin
I’ve had several meals here over the years. Always delicious. Priced reasonably.
Riley
Had an incredible croquet madame with the breakfast potatoes and shared a beignet plate with my party, which was also excellent. Great atmosphere. Didn't seem too busy at least for a weekday lunch spot. Was a bit pricy, but easily worth it for the quality, and the portions are decent size as well. It's rare I clean a plate, especially at lunch, but I could not help myself this time around!!
Jennifer C
Superb! Probably the best meal we have had .....ever. Our server was perfect too!
Jadranka Keener
We had a great meal here accompanied with some. No wait for lunch and breakfast was served all day here. I ordered the caprese sandwich with Bibb salad while husband ordered the blackened Pacific long - lined rock fish. He loved it. There are some vegetarian options here, and they can make alternations. Great place overall!
FxFalcon
Great experience and delicious food. Be ready to drop some cash though. The chicken dinner I had was one of the best dinners I have EVER had. The taste was amazing and I would recommend this as a fancy dinner date night.
Ryan LaHaie
The food was good, but not worth the price. The prices on the restaurant menu were 30%+ more than those listed online. Service and atmosphere were good. The online menu should be updated with the current prices though.
Ana Soloviov
I love this place for its atmosphere, interesting and tasty food that’s worth the splurge. I’ve been there just for wine and for dinner 3 times (including my birthday). Every time I’ve been very pleased. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and everything was very flavorful (except the olives- very plain). The picture has the rabbit pasta- very juicy. Cream soup was very filling. Shrimp appetizers have a lot of sauce to dip in.
Jeremy W. Hodges
The food is just incredible. Had the Shrimp, Crawfish and Sausage with Corn Grits and my wife had Seafood Gumbo. Both were amazing. I'm a southern boy and this was the best grits I've ever had. Drinks were very good too. My Walnut Oldfashioned was a tad watered down from the ice but the flavors were so very good. Also the Beignets were crispy and fluffy and the sauce was espresso based. A great start to our day.
Donald Long term
This place is awesome! Great service staff! And even better food expectations. I had the snake rivers farms ham eggs Benedict. One of the best eggs Benedict’s I’ve ever had. My wife had the chicken fried chicken. That was tender and delicious as well. The beignets were fresh and soft and doughy deliciousness! Can’t wait for our next Sunday breakfast here again!
Natalie Williams
One of my favorite date night spots! The atmosphere is romantic eith low lighting and candles all over the restaurant. Food is fantastic as well.
Diana Lee
The food is so good here! Must try the fried green tomatoes with Dungeness crab. And the gumbo..YUM! We also had the shrimp Diablo, scallops, and mussels. Everything was so delicious!
Tiffani M
The only place in Seattle proper worth eating late night. Hands down.
Let’s start with service…
Jeremy was extraordinary, to put simply. I know it was late, everyone probably wanted to go home, but he gave me great recommendations, was super attentive, just bleeping great.
The gumbo do’
With the crawfish, prawns and whatever other mystery magic they put in that cup of awesome.
The clams with the lichons and the leeks are the best thing on the menu.
Shhh shhh sha sha…. Just trust me sweet baby, order them.
This place really hit the spot when I was literally crying that I couldn’t get a decent burger after 10:00 p.m when shark week came early.
Bless you Toulouse. 🥹
alankrit kharbanda
Great ambience, good food. Had breakfast food a while ago which was good. Lamb burger was dry, but overall great experience.
Jon Megella
This place was simply amazing! The food was spectacular, I had the gumbo which was sublime.
We had the honour of having Cara take care of us through the evening, and she was amazing! So engaging and welcoming, she truly made our night!
Suraj Saifullah
I went here for my birthday! They had a really cool old world wine selection with some rarer varieties which was really fun. The server knew the extensive menu very very well and gave good suggestions to each of us.
I had the shrimp and andouille and cheese grits. It was so so good. It really did remind me of back in Louisiana. A lot of my friends also loved their food. I will say that I didn't find their Jambalaya "unapologetically spicy", and I don't think it was my favorite dish out there. But everything else was delicious and the decor is lovely so it was a great experience.
Jessica Boespflug
The service was really good. The server even asked if we had somewhere else to be and if there was a time we needed to be done by which was really nice. The food was really good despite the bad rating on the door. The jambalaya and gumbo were both super good.
Skyler S
Toulouse Petit is a Seattle institution, best enjoyed every opportunity you can. Do not miss out on the Gumbo, the cocktails, and the desserts especially. Hosts are attentive and informative, ambience is top notch.
Denise Rocha
Excellent food and drinks, beautiful place. The whole menu is delicious. Usually full with long time waitlist. A bit expensive, but worth the money. What I don't like about Toulouse Petit is that is always a noisy place. People talk really loud, the music is too loud for the ambient - I'm talking about 'headache volume level' - just doesn't make sense and is not a pleasant fact. Other than that, great place.
Bert Adams
Absolutely incredible experience, from entrance to exit. Every single bite was an adventure worth embarking on, with coursly chopped herbs gracing our pallets, the most tender, best scallops I have ever eaten, an absolutely divine wine suggestion by their somalier, who personally curated the list, and extremely pleasant staff, from greeting, to server, to bussers. Not to mention a gorgeous aesthetic. Come here for fine dining meets french rustic.
Song Susie
Very nice. Fried oyster salad is amazing
Rony Lenis
If this was my last meal on earth, I would have left very happy.
Beautiful menu, fresh food, gorgeous atmosphere.
Huey Huynh
We were here for my brother-in-law's birthday. It was crowded, but luckily, his son had reservation. They got us in the moment we were there. The table was a little tight for 8 people, but we made it work. The beignet is excellent with the coffee flavor dip. My wife loved her crab salad. The waiter did forget one of the entrees, but did offer to get the entree for no charge. Overall good food, good service.
Jeff Crisologo
Great late night happy hour. The late night menu had many selections. Prices were cheap and good was excellent. Will come again.
Kitten Freeman
Always excellent service, my husband and I have been coming here since we were just friends, and after we started living together, we started meeting with friends at Toulouse!
Nik Kontrimas
Yummy and delicious Cajun style brunch. Get the beignets. Will definitely satisfy your craving if you have had the ones from Cafe du Monde in New Orleans
Chris Armstrong
First time here and it didn't disappoint! The menu is huge making it hard to choose. After a few recommendations from our server I settled on the Acadiana Benedict. It was full of crab, shrimp and andoulle sausage. The eggs where perfectly poached soft and the creole hollandaise had a nice kick. If you go to Seattle make sure to stop in!
Benjamin Faraoni
Amazing place to eat! Highly recommend, food below is happy hour food items and desert!
Ivy B
The food was delicious but the service not so much. I made a reservation weeks in advance, got to the restaurant 15 minutes before our reservation time, and wasn't seated for a half hour because they had two large parties coming in. I understand larger parties are time consuming and a lot of work, but we really felt ignored the entire time!
Emi
The filet mignon was excellent. The halibut was a little dry but still very good. We also got cheese and the duck and pork terrine. The duck was my favorite!
Ankit Amin
If you like Cajun food or even fried chicken you gotta eat here. I ordered a burger and my wife got their crispy fried chicken gumbo and I ended up eating most of her food because it was so good. The fried chicken with all of the black pepper kind of reminds me of the screen door in Portland. It has a good kick so if you can't really handle spicy be careful. The fries that came with my burger were really good. Worth getting the gumbo and fries as your meal here.
Toni M
Incredibly delicious food, friendly and prompt service. Great ambiance, especially for a date!
Walker Dodson
Toulouse Petit was excellent. Great ambiance, the decor is on point. The menu is extensive and somewhat intimidating. I understand why this place is so highly recommended.
We ordered Beignets and a variety of their cocktails, all of which were delicious, I particularly enjoyed the blue morning mule, which had blueberry vodka in it. Very sweet though.
In particular I would recommend the fried oyster and bacon benedicts.
Kevin Hom
Toulouse is a nice place to go for Brunch. The wait can be pretty long so go before 10 am and you won't have to wait. As soon as 10 am hits the wait starts to get significantly longer.
Sharon Carrell
I had to go twice in a row cus it was so amazing. Dinner was andouille , crawfish, shrimp. Breakfast was eggs Florentine on a bed of arugula and caramelized onions. Drool! Very close to Seattle center.
crclark333
Slow, but friendly service. Way too loud clientele in bar - they made it hard for others to enjoy themselves. I was impressed by the portion of the olives, but the main dishes were a bit small and overpriced. Lovely ambience with all of the t- light candles.
Reckless Philocalist
Good food with a knowledgable staff willing to make recommendations based on the taste the customer is in the mood for. Worth a shot to try and worth coming back to try the other dishes.
John Thompson
A great place to experience the food of Arcady, far from the Atchfalaya in miles but so close in gastronomy, the ambience and cocktails made for a memorable experience. Highly recommended, for romantic téte a téte
Ian Gorton
We went for happy hour before the Storm game. Lucky to snag a table but so good. Great value and tasty happy hour and Jan's cocktail was divine. Will return.
Chris Taylor
Yes, the happy hour is more than impressive. The oysters are great and the drinks are well made. The decor of this place is beyond cool and you get a great view of the Space Needle.
Rose Amore
Yummy ! We really like the dimmed lights and scenario ! They don’t have big meals on the menu but small dishes of fun
Barbara Addeo
It's a very nice place, totally overpriced ..We now understand why the restaurant was packed for lunch. The dinner menu is 2xs the price.Forget about having a drink with your dinner ..they were double the price of a other prices .Don't get me wrong the food was very good. I will tell you their Service was terrible nd please stop saying you just don't have enough help ..Our food was delivered by three different people at three different times with in 5 to 10 minutes, the only time we saw our waitress was when she asked about desserts ??? Never came back to see if we were enjoying our meal need salt nd pepper, another drink, more water, hey come on ..and your charging how much an entre ???? I'd say go and try lunch menu first ..I will tell you something. We saw many tables being seated .We also saw 2 tables get up nd leave right after they looked at menu ???? hmmmmm 🤦😱...maybe they too were shocked of the prices ...
Nathan Lopez
Ambience attitude and aesthetic are all to notch here! Expect the low end of high for cost but know that that cost is well worth it. I recommend the Lucy or the Duck
Manuela Fernandes
My favorite restaurant in the Seattle area. Great service and even better food! The place is usually packed so advice to plan ahead
Joshua Brown
Super Yummy! If your in the mood for something a little creole/cajun then you gotta hit this spot. I liked it a lot. My wild prawn over corn grits was something special. Also if you dig margaritas get the tiki tini. It wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of tequila to get ya feeling lovely.
Rational Consumer
Amazingly delicious. No reservations accepted for Saturday or Sunday brunch, but we were seated immediately at 9 am on Sunday. Beignets were divine and not overly sweet. Poached eggs were perfect, which is not a given even at most breakfast restaurants. Highly recommended the Dungeness crab Benedict and breakfast salad. Can't wait to return for lunch or dinner or breakfast happy hour on weekdays!
George Koay
Delicious Cajun food. Great atmosphere. Love everything we had on the menu. Is a big menu kind of overwhelming. Lost to choose from. They even have a Caesar for the Canadians. The only thing that I would say is the room was very dark for brunch. Can’t wait to check it out in the evening.
Mark Bigelow
Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Authentic take on Cajun cuisine with a great menu. Will be going back!
David Dame
Wow... Great atmosphere, exceptional food, and service is off the charts!! On of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I will definitely go back!
Pamela Soto-Saines
Breakfast at Toulouse petit is a delight. Food is top notch. Long wait but definitely worth it. Waiter was pleasant and accommodating.
Austin Welch
Breakfast was awesome as usual. The duck confit hash was great but maybe a little under seasoned. I got a little too excited and took a bite but I would suggest this place to travelers if you're okay with a bit of a wait.
Melissa Timm
One of the best meals i have ever had with a price tag to match. Worth every penny! But dont be suprised when they bring you the bill.
Dakari Crockett
This establishment was wonderful. I took my fiance there for Valentine's Day lunch and I couldn't be more pleased. The servers were polite and timely. The food was amazing with a price I believe to be pretty reasonable. The atmosphere was great and you can tell everybody enjoyed being there. I would definitely recommend bringing your spouse to this place. Side note make a reservation, you may be seated when you just show up but a reservation is always guaranteed.
Jonathan Johnson
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Definitely a must go when visiting Seattle. It’s one of those places you can’t judge from the outside.
Joy Assent
Ambience was great. I'm told it's one of the few spots that stayed open late (I'm from out of town). Brussels sprouts were good but a little heavy on the seasoning. Hot baguette was fresh and delicious. The shrimp po boy my niece ordered looked delicious and she enjoyed it. Server Josh was awesome!
Katra Farah
My partner and I came here for the first time and had a blast. We tried a lot of different options thanks to our server Sebastian. We ordered the french toast, shrimp and grits and fried chicken. Breakdown: the food was really good (8), the ambiance was vibrant (good taste of music), and last but not least our server was phenomenal, excellent customer skills, polite and knowledgeable. (10). Thanks for making our experience enjoyable Sebastian!
Ashley Mata
This place was phenomenal! It was worth every penny! I've never tipped so much; the service was great, the food and drinks were so delicious, and the atmosphere very cozy. It was our first time in Seattle, and I am so happy that we were directed to here. We can't wait to go back!
jonathan pizanti
Drove by and loved the façade. Found a couple seats at the bar with my babe and went for the scallops and Dungeness crab salad. Man, U-10 scallops! Amazeballz! Cocktails were on point and the selection was amazing. Late night happy hour as well....I think we might go back tonight!
Kian Yong Lim
Amazing French cuisine! All the dishes we tried were great tasting - flavourful but not overdone.
Nathan Blackham
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Seattle. I have had a number of things on the menu and it has all been delicious.
My favorite though is the Pecan pie. It isn't as sweet as a normal pecan pie as they use molasses instead of corn syrup (well that is what it seems, I don't know the exact recipe). It is super yummy and well worth it.
Ty Van Rensum
The food here was amazing, but the service was even better. We had Eli here as our server and he was attentive, timely, kind and funny! He even gave us a birthday discount. I would definitely come back again!
Inna Zakharchenko
Very busy spot, waiting time 20-30 minutes, service was ok but can be better. Variety of food really huge, but lacked flavor. Great atmosphere inside. Best tables by the window.

Some of the food is great but the beignets are really dense and doughy. They add a "living wage" surcharge to every bill instead of just adjusting their already high prices.

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was delicious. They have an amazing number of seafood dishes. It is a little on the pricy side, but if you get there between 1000-1100 they have a breakfast happy hour. Their cocktail selection was really fantastic.

We went here for Sunday Brunch at around 10am, by then there was only a small line (Protip: the bar has open seating). The food and drinks were both amazing. We tried their mimosa, bloody, and two of their other house cocktails. The "Manmosa" (a mimosa in a pint glass) with Grand Marnier was delicious. Large selection of southern influenced breakfast dishes. I had a Benedict with duck and liver patte, and loved it. I definitely recommend this place. We got out close to 1130am, and there were probably at least 20 people in line waiting for a table, so get here early!

Amazing food!!! Quality service. Shrimp and grits was fantastic and jambalaya one of the best. Highly recommend.

Delicious and a great atmosphere. So happy we came here. We ordered numerous items including the beignets, French Onion soup, gumbo, crab Benedict and halibut scallops shrimp bowl with bolognese sauce. The French onion soup was OK but I think it’s only because everything else was absolutely amazing. It was a great French onion soup, don’t get me wrong. Our kids couldn’t eat everything else fast enough. Definitely worth going and we will come back again.

Incredible happy hour menu. It’s 3+ pages long of delicious foods! Loved the mussels, fried tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, and lamb sliders. Excellent customer service. Super trendy interior decor. Dishes were $7-10. So worth it. Would def recommend and go back!

Sat at the bar for happy hour. Great specials and atmosphere. Bartender was friendly and attentive.

Food was delicious and service was exceptional!
Food: we ordered from the happy hour pre fixe menu to share and enjoyed all three courses we had
Service: we had to rush to a reservation, and our waiter and the kitchen accommodated by quickly getting all 3 courses to us in about 25 min so that we could make it on time
Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. We would love to visit again and pick from their expansive menu!

I had halibut with peas, mushrooms, asparagus, and seemingly about ten other things. The halibut was perfectly cooked, but the plate was unnecessarily complicated. And too expensive at $41. The smoked trout salad was excellent and was my favorite thing. Grapefruit juice margarita was awesome too. The restaurant would be better if the portions (and prices) were smaller, and if the chef didn’t try to do so many things. I’d eat here again, but split plates.

One of the most unique and consistently delicious menus. Best breakfast place I've found in Queen Anne area.

7 pm on a Sunday night there was a short wait to be seated. I sat at the bar as I was alone and enjoyed a great meal and quick, great service.

Always have a great experience here with both food and service. I've now been for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. Every meal is like being transported to New Orleans. I especially recommend the beignets, french toast and prawn salad with champagne vinaigrette.

In a neighborhood full of interesting restaurants, this place is a standout. Yes, you'll enjoy the ambience with hundreds of candles glimmering on the walls, but come here for the food.
Of our recent dinner for four, the gnocchi dish and two versions of the rib eye were over the top delicious. With French-influenced cooking, the sauce is everything, and here it exceled. Have to admit one of our party limited his praise of the chicken to "very tasty", so perhaps this kitchen is staffed by real humans...
We finished up with Louisiana Pecan Pie and a unique form of bread pudding. All massively rich and delicious.
Overall, one of the best meals we out of towners have tasted in Seattle.

This place was really nice. Great romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious. I wouldn't say it was creole but I've had food in NOLA so I may be biased. It was still tasty. Wine selection is AMAZING They will definitely have something for everyone One of the menus was just wine! Our server was great! We were staying at the Mediterranean inn which is right down the street from here so it was very walkable

Absolutely loved the Seafood Gumbo, Pistachio Rockfish, and Salted Caramel Bread Pudding!
